Review #379: Mouse On Tha Track "Swagga Fresh Freddy (Bootleg)"

Reviewed on 12.30.2009 (Review #379)

FrankieThaLuckyDog here once again… ‘Bout ta do… MY FINAL REVIEW OF THA YEAR… AND DECADE!!! Just so you know, this iz a record-settin’ amount of reviewz I did in one month!! This iz my 42nd review this month!!! Talk about bein’ on tha grind!!! And here it iz… WHAT A GR8 WAY TA END IT OFF!!! Here goes my review fa Mouse On Tha Track Swagga Fresh Freddy (Bootleg)!!! Talk about a TIGHT mixtape name!! Start Time: 9:12 PM | End Time: 10:45 PM

Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

© 2009 CD Review by FrankieThaLuckyDog. Other than tha main artist or affiliated people with tha main artist, this review iz to not be used in anyone else’s words!

01. “Turn The Beat Up”
Let’s DEFINITELY “turn this up!!!” >>> Tha beat sounded a lil’ different for a start but this iz a HOT intro!! You sound cool on tha 1st verse and tha hook iz hella catchy here!! What a gr8 way ta end a decade!! LMAO @ tha “beat ya ass up, like Rihanna” part in tha 2nd verse! Talk about raw shit in a club way!! Glad you puttin’ out EVEN MORE HOT SHIT!!! My Rating: 4.5

02. “Rubbin’ On My Head (Remix)” Feat. Lil’ Trill, Lil’ Boosie & Lil’ Chrissa
I was ‘pose ta check this out recently but haven’t had tha chance to. Glad it’s tha remix and I’m glad I’m finally gonna hear it!! NICE 5:25 on tha length too!! >>> Still has tha gr8 hook and beat! Tha 1st verse sounds cool fa what it iz. I think tha original sounded betta though especially wit tha flow and tha catchy content. I dunno about tha start to tha 2nd verse wit Lil’ Trill on it… At least he luvs “tha mirror” here, lol. Okay job for tha 2nd verse but it’s cool fa othaz ta contribute. Now Boosie had a better start ta his verse than Lil’ Trill; gotta luv his flow at all times! He goin’ nuts wit all these rhymes, lol! They like NEVA ended and were too much, lol!! Tha 4th verse from Lil’ Chrissa sounds a lil’ random at first but he sounds cool wit his “weed” and “bruh” parts. Slowly drawin’ interest in tha verse and himself! My Rating: 4.8

03. “I Got Wings” Feat. Lil’ Trill
This iz an interestin’ title… I wonder what this iz about… >>> A DEFINITE TIGHT beat start here!!! I luv how it sounds a lil’ on tha slower tempo side! Tha 1st verse DEFINITELY soundin’ good wit tha flow and err-thang!! I like how you “hangin’ wit yo dawgz;” I hope that happens ta me soon. I can’t even rememba tha last time it had happened; prolly sometime early in last year. Once again, DEFINITE plus ta your flow and how you delivered your rhymes in tha 1st verse!! Tha hook iz SO FUCKIN’ TIGHT!!! Ain’t it SOOOO GR8 ta have “wings,” lol?!? This time, Lil’ Trill sounds like a gurl here on tha 2nd verse… I thought when I heard him recently on one of my previous reviewz dat he sounded older? Someone else could’ve had this verse; I don’t think it’ll reach tha 4.9 rating I wanted ta give it now… At least you’re on tha 3rd verse, Mouse! LOL @ tha “chicken” part in tha beginning of tha verse; your voice iz UNBELIEVABLE when it comes ta catchin’ MEGA attention!! Nice job wit tha 3rd verse here and cool cold endin’ ta tha beat too! My Rating: 4.8

04. “My Bounce (Remix)” Feat. Louisiana Ca$h & Lil’ Chrissa
I hope all these IDs are right ‘cause they’re different on tha mp3 infos on my iTunes… It says “remix,” so iz this a remix? >>> Well, Chrissa confirmed it wit tha “remix, baby” part in tha intro. Tha beat iz kinda slow in tha beginning but it sounds like some GR8 Louisiana shit in tha beat! Lil’ Chrissa iz on tha 1st verse here and he sounds catchy once again! I gotta add him on MySpace, ya dig! So, he “represents Str8 Jacket Ent.?” Good shit… Tha hook sounds good although tha beat reminds me of snap music durin’ tha hook… You’re on tha 2nd verse here, Mouse, and it sounds cool once again! You’re DEFINITELY UNSTOPPABLE on this shit right chea!! Here’s tha 3rd verse here (Louisiana Ca$h) and it’s good fa what it iz… I don’t have ta say much about it though ‘cause it’s more on tha decent/good side. There was a weird cold ending wit this one… I felt like it ended outta nowhere. My Rating: 4.3

05. “Go For What You Know” Feat. Foxx & Dorrough
This looks like it’ll be cool; I like tha collaboration! Let’s see what we got here! >>> Tha intro sounds DEFINITELY catchy wit tha beat and err-thang! LOL, tha hook sounds cool fa a repetitive hook; lol @ it. Tha 1st verse from you was good fa what it was. I don’t have much ta say about it though… We got tha 2nd verse here from Dorrough… It was pretty good in tha 1st ½ of it but tha 2nd ½ of it sounded repetitive like tha hook… Tha 3rd verse from Foxx sounds more catchy fa tha song here and tha mix of tha lyrics sound good too! My Rating: 4.4

06. Mouse On Tha Track Speaks
What do you got ta say at this moment, my boy? >>> Huh, it’s a song? Oh, you’re speakin’. LOL @ tha 4:40 length here on this skit… You sound cool here… Even though this real long, it’s cool ta have a lil’ talk break here. I like how you sound when you talk ‘cause it sounds cool, especially when you say “ya heard me” and “bruh;” thumbs up to tha Urban peeps!! Interestin’ ta hear this! My Rating: N/A

07. “Get Off My Nuts” Feat. Lil’ Cali
LMAO!! We got a BANGA here dat made this CD!! Anotha REAL COOL beat fa a start; GOTTA LUV your beats!!! Check out tha new Lil’ Boosie commercial I made fa SuperBad: The Return Of Boosie Bad Azz; it’s on YouTube (just type in “Lil’ Boosie SuperBad Commercial” in tha search bar on YouTube); Mouse, you’re in it! Tha hook was cool and it’s DEFINITELY correct when it comes to tha dickriders!! Good shit right here to tha fullest!!! Cali’s on tha 1st verse and he even shows luv ta you wit tha “I be all in tha mirror like Mouse” line (referrin’ ta “Rubbin’ On My Head”)!! I hear tha hook again for tha 2nd time and it’s REAL CRAZY, ESPECIALLY wit your “WAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!” It almost sounds like you’re givin’ emotions when it comes ta people bein’ on yo nuts too much, Mouse, lol!! Speakin’ of me talkin’ ‘bout you, you’re on tha 2nd verse here and you’re spittin’ some real shit here about havin’ too many people communicatin’ wit you! Good shit ta be anti-social!! My Current Rating: 4.7

08. “Nasty” Feat. Novakane & Kevin Gates
This should be good!! I can tell I gon DEFINITELY like this!! >>> Tha beat sound effect in tha beginning reminded me of like a certain Trip-Hop sound effect but it sounds GR8 now dat I hear it now! Cool hook and I’m glad you added tha “I Got Wings” hook in it too! Tha 1st verse starts off wit Gates and he sounds pretty good I guess… He always comes through catchy though. I thought Lil’ Phat randomly appeared on tha 2nd verse but it’s you, Mouse. You sound good here wit your catchy-ass flow and good rhymes ta go wit this kinda song. LMAO @ “real nasty like dirty-ass socks;” where you get your rhymes from?!? Tha Novakane dude iz on tha 3rd verse (iz he tha producer?)… Pretty cool verse here as he doin’ tha damn thang. My Rating: 4.5

09. “Don’t Hurt ‘Em” Feat. Beezy Bird
This looks like a familiar title… Lemme hear and see if I know it. >>> I prolly don’t ‘cause it’s a B-Real beat and I haven’t heard his beat tag in tha beginning all year long! Wow, I heard my boy Beezy Bird REAL CLEAR wit his “bow, bow, bow” shit at :15! Gon have ta put him in tha ID ta play it safe! Gr8 collaboration here!! Maybe I saw this title before? Tha hook sounds cool and tha 1st verse iz extremely consistent; I feel like there’s no changin’ in anything, lol! In tha long future, Beezy Bird gon be remembered for his “bow, bow” shit bein’ sampled in B-Real’s beats and beats worldwide like Lil’ Handy wit tha samplin’ in tha beats (just like Handy iz remembered wit tha Mouse beat tag)! I can feel it and I gon spread tha word out there! Tha 2nd verse sounded good; you’re too consistent wit err-thang here so I feel like it’s non-stop lyrics and non-stop Beezy Bird wit his “bow” shit! Nice job wit this catchy joint here! My Rating: 4.6

½time: Once again, DROPPIN’ FIYA-ASS TRACKS, my boy!!!!! This iz such a REAL HOT mixtape and you just keep deliverin’ tha BEST QUALITY here!!! I wish these would be bigger in tha mainstream!! Hope my reviewz are helpin’ ‘em!! Tha average CD rating stands at a NICE 4.6 right now so keep up tha GR8 work!!!

10. “Work Dat Lumba (Remix)” Feat. Lil’ Chrissa, Ms. Pac & Lil’ Doom
Ooh, an extended version of tha version on tha Just Because mixtape! LOL, y’all forgot tha “m” in tha title ‘cause it looks like “Luba,” lol. Anyway, this has always been a catchy song wit tha “youse a one hit wonda” part in tha hook! Dat goes out ta any asshole I deal wit that only stays on tha phone wit me once!! Lil’ Chrissa sounds pretty good on tha 1st verse here; catchy shit once again! Here’s tha female (Ms. Pac) on tha 2nd verse and she soundin’ good fa this shit. Nice job contributin’ and these are some quick eight bar verses. Lil’ Doom had a pretty cool verse. I reviewed his verse on tha Just Because mixtape (as well as Chrissa’s) but I re-reviewed it now ‘cause this a remix. Nice job on this shit right chea, ya dig. My Rating: 4.5

11. “Whippin’ N Flippin’” Feat. The Strangers & OJ Da Juiceman
I expect this ta be a REAL TIGHT joint!! Let’s see how goofy (in a good way) OJ gets on this, lol!! >>> Sounds like Sean Paul of tha Youngbloodz sample on tha hook; cool-ass shit here!! Tha hook sounded good and it got betta when you got on tha 1st verse here, Mouse! Catchy-ass “whippin’ n flippin’” type lyrics here on tha 1st verse and tha next part (from The Strangers) sounds cool too! Nice job here and this shit just keeps goin’!! Only tha catchiest shit iz here!! Here’s tha Juiceman on tha 3rd verse and as always, soundin’ good ol’ goofy on tha flow here (that’s always enjoyable)! LOL, he crazy wit his ass here! LOL, what was reversed at 3:21? It sounds like a 4th verse from The Strangers here (anotha dude from them?); cool shit once again! Glad this shit rode all tha way through! My Rating: 4.6

12. “Cloud 9 (Remix)” Feat. Lil’ Boosie & Big Poppa
How will all y’all feel on this joint, “Cloud 9” style? >>> Tha beginning wit tha “alright, alright” made me think of Project Pat and his “Chickenhead” song from 2001. Big Poppa’s VERY hypnotic wit his catchy-ass in tha beginning! Sounded like a REAL COOL hook here from Big Poppa; DEFINITELY made it catchy!! He’s betta at makin’ features and hooks than his own songs! Speakin’ of him, he’s on tha 1st verse here and it sounds cool once again. It flows pretty good fa tha song itself and his voice iz pretty hilarious. Continuin’ from where Poppa left off, it’s Boosie on tha 2nd verse, applyin’ his catchiness wit Big Poppa’s together! Nice job wit tha flow and tha shit you spittin’, Boosie! Now dat we heard Poppa & Boosie, it’s now time fa you, Mouse, ta show off your catchiness!! LOL @ tha “chop down wit an axe” part! Axed out Mouse!! You even added some of Big Poppa’s flow inta your flow fa your verse; gr8 job! My Rating: 4.7

13. “Spread My Wings” Feat. Box & X-Fyle
LOL, anotha “wings” song? You LUV ta fly, huh, lol? >>> Back to tha snappin’-type of start but at least X-Fyle iz on tha beat here. Tha hook so far sounds cool but tha “I Got Wings” song was way betta for a start! We got tha 1st verse here and it’s pretty catchy here on this beat! Sounds like a pretty good song if you eva hear it in tha club. You’re on tha 2nd verse here and it’s cool wit your flow once again. What will go on wit tha 3rd verse here? It’s cool fa what it iz; I like tha flow on this one too. Pretty cool song here as you guys always keep it interestin’! My Rating: 4.2

14. “High Definition” Feat. Lil’ Cali
Yea!! You’re takin’ more GR8 cuts from tha Just Because mixtape!! Who really produced this beat? It sounds like they have “tight, tight, tight” in their beat backgrounds. Anyway, tha beat iz DEFINITELY watz good and tha hook CAN’T BE DENIED!!! DEFINITELY can feel y’all in “HD” here to tha fullest; REAL COOL hook wit tha 2nd ½ bein’ tha typical Baton Rouge formula of GR8 repetitiveness!!! Tha 1st ½ of tha 1st verse was you bein’ a cool cat and tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse iz Cali spittin’ his cool side. Gotta luv tha “WAHHHHHHH!!!” from ANYONE!!! Tha 2nd verse here iz from… no source? It was pretty good fa what it was… What? Anotha mysterious dude on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse? Good fa what it was but not as catchy as how you come through! Either way, props fa mysteriously appearin’, lol! My Current Rating: 4.6

15. “Bust A Bottle Open”
YEA!! Keep these Just Because tracks comin’ along!!! I smell an automatic 5* rated CD here!!! LOL, I hear Young MC and his “bust it” sample here. I heard his sample on a song not too long ago but this song DEFINITELY sounds much betta!!! Gotta luv tha “loaded” type of beat you produced here (where it sounds like you’re in a daze)! Tha hook iz DEFINITELY REAL catchy wit tha title repeatin’ so much!!! Who wouldn’t pop somethin’ ta this?!? Afta a lil’ past 50 seconds, you’re here fa tha 1st verse!! DEFINITELY sum gr8 “stomach feelin’” lyrics here on a HUGE club vibe!! DEFINITELY some catchy-ass shit spit in tha 1st verse ta give your stomach various feelings!!! Here comes tha 2nd verse from Cali, wit more “nuttin’” lyrics, lol!! Cool verse from Cali as he kept it on your level ta enjoy a “bottle bustin’ open!” Cool beat endin’ too! My Current Rating: 4.3

16. “That Ain’t Yo Hoe” Feat. Young Ready
Ooh, you threw in this song too!! >>> EDIT: Oh, this iz tha old version from That’s How I’m Coming. I thought it was tha new Sims produced version from It Ain’t No Secret. Anyway, here goes tha 1st version’s review: Q-Red beat here so it should NOT EVEN be NEAR a problem!!! Cool sounding beat here… It’s gettin’ anticipating. Well, I didn’t expect a song like this but it’s PURE LOUISIANA SHIT RIGHT HERE!!!!! What a CATCHY-ASS hook!!! Of course, luvin’ it!! You were PERFECT for dat hook, Mouse!!! Young Ready’s on tha 1st verse here and tha lyrics are typical for me. At least it’s in a Baton Rouge perspective. I didn’t see anything special wit tha 1st verse (not tha type of lyrics I anticipate from Young Ready or get shocked from) but good job either way. You’re on tha 2nd verse here, Mouse… It sounds like you don’t say much in your verses but it’s catchy. It’s still goin’ here… Decent verse but mega catchy. Let’s see how we gon end this… Young Ready on tha 3rd verse and it sounded a lil’ better than tha 1st verse but not much wit tha lyrics here that blows my mind like tha otha songs. I don’t think anyone could’ve made a much more catchier hook for a female song!! It may not be a 4.6+ rating but I still love it! My Current Rating: 4.4

17. “On Me” Feat. Thug Brothers
Anotha familiar ID but I don’t think I actually heard it. I think Thug Brothers are anticipatin’ ta hear so let’s see what y’all got!! >>> A lil’ faster here and it sounds pretty cool; gotta luv your “oh, WAHHHHHHH!!!” shit!! Tha hook iz basic; who wouldn’t “be on you?” I REALLY like tha “fresh ‘bauds” shit in a lil’ bit of tha hook! Tha 1st verse sounds PRETTY INTERESTIN’ HERE wit one of tha Thug Brothers!! Tha beginning of tha verse was just too catchy wit tha flow! Definitely some nice shit right here! Tha 2nd verse iz here from one of tha Thug Brothers (Fred?) and it’s DEFINITELY a hood-type catchy flow here!! DEFINITELY feelin’ tha shit here and I like tha “eat cha like Hannibal” line; shout out ta my boy Hannibal!! Once again, tha Thug Brothers split up tha verses GR8 ‘cause tha 3rd verse DEFINITELY sounds good here!! They got such GR8 flows fa this Rap shit!! I think they got one or two CDs in my Louisiana Reviewz Marathon so you KNOW I definitely gon look forward ta dat!! I wonder if they gon release any new shit soon? My Rating: 4.6

18. “Stupid, Dumb & Retarted” (Big Head)
Before I check it: Just know dat THIS IZ THA LAST SONG I GON REVIEW WITHIN THIS DECADE!!!!! *Checks ID* Shit yea!!! This gon be a DEFINITE BIG endin’ to tha decade!!! >>> Iz it familiar? Tha intro sounds familiar here and damn near sounds like Down Bad… Was this from Big Head’s Realest Of The Trillest CD? *Checks* Yup!! LOL, so “On Me” iz tha last “new” song reviewed within tha decade! To add, here’s what I said: I like that beat intro here!!! Glad he bringin’ this topic to a title now!! Tha 1st verse iz soundin’ pretty good… He said, “Mouse,” so I guess you produced it (Mouse). I also heard “purp sacks” in tha 1st verse so you KNOW that’s watz good! Real nice 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse! Also, by hearin’ tha hook repeat a bunch of times, it almost reminds me of JR Dot from Down Bad. Tha 2nd verse here iz soundin’ pretty good too; keepin’ this shit consistent! Yea, “Coogi down.” Tha 2nd verse sounded a lil’ betta. Let’s see… a 3rd verse! Interesting lyrics goin’ on here wit tha consistency of tha track. I like tha ending wit “I wish (I wish) a muthafucka would” repeatin’ a bunch of times! Yea, it’s just not ending!! Anotha 17 seconds left feelin’ like fa’eva! My Current Rating: 4.6

Overall: Once again, Mouse, you DEFINITELY pulled it off here!! This iz two mixtapes in a row you got an automatic 5* rated CD, feelin’ like you C-Loc!!! I’m REAL GLAD I did all tha reviewz I possibly did this year (a lil’ ova 210), includin’ tha 42 I did this month!! I DEFINITELY gon keep grindin’ fa Louisiana to tha fullest and hopefully next year, I’ll finally complete my Louisiana Reviewz Marathon!! Happy New Year and WELCOME 2010!!!

Review #378: Max Minelli "Pain Medicine"

Reviewed on 12.30.2009 (Review #378)

It’s FrankieThaLuckyDog once again, back wit anotha review fa ya ear drums!! Originally, this was ‘pose ta be tha last review of tha year/decade. However, I got a Mouse mixtape afta this via online so that’ll be my last review until further notice. For now, let’s get inta this Christmas present: Here goes my review fa Max Minelli Pain Medicine! Start Time: 5:58 PM | End Time: 7:11 PM

01. “I Can Feel It” Feat. Nicoya
I know you’re known fa startin’ off CDs in a REAL GOOD way! Let’s see how you do wit this one!! >>> I like tha beat here; it’s definitely interestin’. It reminds me of some otha beat I can’t think of… I like tha intro also wit tha CD’s theme goin’ on and you speakin’ in it. Tha lyrics sound good in tha 1st verse, lookin’ ta help err-body to tha fullest! A mysterious female on tha hook and she sounds pretty good contributin’ ta this. Tha 2nd verse was good fa what it was; comin’ through bein’ you. I thought there would be a 3rd verse ta this but it had a pretty good lil’ endin’ wit tha gurl and tha title. My Rating: 4.0
EDIT: Looked inside tha CD and it shows who tha gurlz are!

02. “Promises To Keep” Feat. Nicoya
I know this one, thanx to my boy Jimmy The DJ fa puttin’ it on his Gangsta Gumbo Vol. 3: Point Of No Return (Hosted by 1st Degree) mixtape! Here’s what went down when I first heard it: Okay, not bad for a start, luckily! I like tha “God gave me life, mom gave me birth” part. Sounds like you gon deliver buku lyrics on this one! Not sure about that hook. It ain’t that bad for a female. More on tha mainstream Young Jeezy sounding. Music Choice Rap doesn’t have this yet? Interestin’ lyrics in tha 2nd verse. Almost wasn’t sure which verse sounded betta but tha 2nd verse REALLY picked up towards tha near-end! <- To add: Tha hook sounds GR8 on this! Definitely a growth from 1st listen and tha “random female” again doin’ her thang! My Current Rating: 4.1

03. “Do It, Do It (Swagga Walk)”
And this too contributin’ here! I recently re-reviewed it and felt it more! Here’s what I had ta say: I didn’t get ta play it ‘cause I had a Mookie Blakk song “Swagga Walk” in rotation and I liked that one betta. Howeva, this sounds betta hearin’ it once again. Gotta luv that beat (somewhat soundin’ like DJ Felli Fel’s “Get Buck In Here”)! You do a pretty good job on this one and tha hook iz catchy. Tha 2nd verse fit wit tha 1st verse as it’s you at your swaggest, lol! Doin’ ya thang on tha 3rd verse too, Max. I don’t know what else ta say about this; you know I like it. My Current Rating: 4.0

04. “Louisiana Sky”
I really like tha title but that ain’t gonna exactly tell me ‘til I hear it! >>> Off to a pretty good start; I expect a whole lotta lyrics here… Tha 1st verse was okay fa what it was; I expected a lil’ more catchiness and more rhymes. Tha hook sounds good though; I like tha interestin’ title (when you “look at” it and all dat). Tha 2nd verse here iz more interestin’; glad you added more shit ta this verse ta keep tha listener’s brain focused. Some typical street feelings goin’ on in tha 3rd verse; pretty good verse. My Rating: 3.7

05. “Supa Charged” Feat. JonDo
Surprised of all tha familiar songs… Didn’t realize a lot of them leaked onta buku mixtapes and all dat! LOL @ not even one of tha songs from Pre-Med bein’ featured on this CD yet… Anyway: LOL @ tha beat intro; anotha beat on tha cool intro type! Almost sounds like your “I’m Coolin’” song wit tha “buzz kickin’ in” durin’ tha beginning. I really like this really slow beat here and tha hook iz pretty cool too; glad you “supa charged” on this shit! Wow, tha hook just keeps progressin’ and soundin’ REAL, REAL GOOD on tha beat!!! You have your top status here on tha 1st verse as you’re always glad how you’re respected err-where! Still doin’ tha damn thang on tha 2nd verse, feelin’ X-TRA good!! This was a cool song, ya dig! My Current Rating: 4.3

06. “Doors On A Lambo”
This iz a new one fa me. It looks like it’ll be on tha cool/interestin’ side; let’s see if I’m correct… >>> Almost sounded like some like 70’s R&B kicks in tha beginning… Tha beat iz pretty cool; nearly an ol’ skool twist added to tha beat here. You sound pretty cool in tha 1st verse too; didn’t expect a nice twist fa a song like this! Cool 1st verse here once again wit your catchy lyrics. Really, you don’t “need ta make a dance up” ta impress people. I’m lucky I’m impressin’ people wit tha shit I do fa Louisiana wit all my reviewz, commercials and havin’ my undaground Louisiana Rap radio show. Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty good; interestin’ lyrics that give me a “zoo” feelin’ at times. You mixin’ in some cool shit here fa this song; I don’t know what ta expect from you, ya dig! My Rating: 4.2

07. “Lean On Me” Feat. Russell Lee
I heard a bunch of Russell Lee collaborations in tha past. Most of tha songs weren’t fa me so I don’t know how this one’ll feel; not sure if I heard it also… >>> Tha beat start sounds cool here; I might like it! Pretty good “goin’-through-stress-type” lyrics here. I thought I heard this before (maybe on a compilation?) but I couldn’t find a previous review… As for tha hook, it fits fa what it iz so thumbs up ta Russell Lee this time. Tha 2nd verse sounds a lil’ betta here; keepin’ tha lyrical content goin’ along here! We got anotha 3rd verse from you here and interestin’ about “tha world feelin’ like an elephant;” you DEFINITELY have catchy rhymes/lines dat come outta nowhere, ya dig! Nice job havin’ tha 3rd verse here, ya dig! My Rating: 4.1

½time: Off to a pretty good start. No matter if tha top rating here iz 4.3 or not, you’re holdin’ tha CD down ‘cause tha average CD rating iz at 4.1 right now; doin’ big thangz! How many copies did this sell in its 1st week? Keep grindin’!

08. “American Hustler”
I usually see UK people puttin’ “American” in their titles. You’re a Louisiana “American” boy so let’s see what makes this “American,” ya dig… >>> Tha start sounds a lil’ odd; I’m not big about samples at times… Sounds like tha beat gon have a pretty good kick in; yes, it did!! You got a good flow goin’ on here on tha 1st verse; soundin’ betta than tha intro! Nice job wit tha 1st verse and it sounds like you’re on tha top here wit tha hook. Tha sample doesn’t even matter now dat you’re on top of it as well as tha beat! Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty good fa a start here too. I like tha “smell tha weed burn” part; tha boy Max feelin’ good! We still got anotha verse comin’ up so I know you gon add some catchy rhymes! Yup, you’re comin’ through wit some tight rhymes in tha 3rd verse too; tha streetz DEFINITELY luv you! My Rating: 3.9

09. “Money I Made Today” Feat. Russell Lee
Anotha Russell Lee collaboration… I like tha title so I hope you come through fa tha next 310 seconds (‘cause its length iz 5:10)! >>> This iz a lil’ different, more on tha mainstream soundin’ here. Somebody should pick this song up ‘cause it has a mainstream taste… Pretty good beat for tha mainstream outlets here and tha hook sounds good too once again from Russell Lee! Here you come on tha 1st verse, “gettin’ milked,” lol (as you said, “these hoes wanna milk me”); good line right there! You did ya thang on tha 1st verse, makin’ this a jam. Too bad Russell’s “English fucked up” (or if he’s referrin’ to a typical high school drop-out), but “he knows his Math,” so that’s a plus! You know I’m a beast wit Math and thanx to these reviewz, I became gr8 wit English as of last year! You got a good motivational tip for those “tryna make money,” ya dig. Nice job wit tha 2nd verse; let’s see tha next one! I like how tha rappin’ sounds without any of tha claps goin’ on in tha beginning of tha 3rd verse. Pretty good deliverin’ tha 3rd verse too, ya dig. My Rating: 4.0

10. “Can’t You Tell”
I can “tell” you’re doin’ a GR8 job wit this CD right chea!! Let’s see how you hold this track down by yaself… >>> Soundin’ NICE & creepy in tha beginning wit tha beat!! You DEFINITELY showin’ off your cool in tha hook; good shit right here! This iz catchy and I wonder what you gotta spit on tha verses here! Here’s tha 1st verse and it’s pretty catchy. You can handle any situation you get it so you KNOW you’re watz up! Tha 2nd verse iz on a decent/good level; I prolly would’ve expected a lil’ more catchiness this time ‘round but you sound betta now that I’m hearin’ tha end of tha 2nd verse. Tha start to tha 3rd verse sounds good wit tha “sleepin’ on my dreams wit tha triple beam” line (or whateva it was). Got tha hoods attracted ta watch this verse here so that’s a plus! My Rating: 4.1

11. “Be With You” Feat. LeToya
I feel a decent anticipation; let’s see… >>> I guess tha mysterious female gon sing on this one too? Sounds like one of those feel-good Summer-type songs in tha beginning here… It almost sounds like LeToya but I know it’s one of your local gurlz. Tha hook sounded like a turn on when hearin’ her so that’s a plus. Tha 1st verse was okay; it was more fit fa this song itself. Tha 2nd verse iz more on a decent level fa me… I don’t have much ta say about it; glad there’s at least one “takin’-a-break-type” song on this CD ta fit a different mood. Tha lil’ part of your 3rd verse was okay also. Tha gurl sounds like she’s singin’ a previous song from tha past. My Rating: 3.6

12. “Get Up Off Me” Feat. Derty
LOL, Derty on tha feature! I always hate that I could’ve been tha 1st one ta play Derty on tha radio if I had my Tha Louisiana Pit undaground Louisiana Rap radio show last year around this time (‘cause I had “Uh Oh” in November 2008)! Anyway, this iz an anticipated one fa me; lookin’ forward!! >>> Gotta feel tha Shonta feel here; he got some gutta/dark beats!! I easily predict a top-ranked song here! Tha hook sounds pretty good; you comin’ through, representin’ your tough side! You sound catchy on tha 1st verse; REAL GR8 flow here as you goin’ crazy! As much as tha 1st verse sounded cool wit tha way you delivered it, tha 2nd verse sounds pretty cool too; nice job wit tha catchy rhymes. ROFL, here comes Derty on tha 3rd verse @ 2:48!! Why iz he CDless? He sounded REAL GR8 fa contributin’, includin’ dat he sung Mookie Blakk’s “Rocky Balboa.” Nice job wit this collaboration right chea, ya dig! Kick-ass style here!! My Rating: 4.4

13. “Mama’s Only Son 2” Feat. Russell Lee
It says “2” here for tha version. However, I have a feelin’ on tha Max-A-Veli (The Realest Shit I Ever Wrote) mixtape, they didn’t put a “2” in tha ID so I prolly heard it. Lemme see… >>> So far, it sounds different so maybe, there’s no error. I recognized a Jennifer Lopez “If You Had My Love” sample in tha singin’ wit tha last one. However, if that one was just okay, then this ain’t gonna pull it off that good fa me… Not too interested in tha hook here… You sound okay wit tha rappin’ here on tha 1st verse. I might have ta offer a lyrical rating fa this one ‘cause it ain’t up ta my standards. Glad you seem motivated in tha 2nd verse too; at least you’re alive and still doin’ this Rap shit! Tha 3rd verse iz on some real shit here; I like tha “doctor” part and yea, Max, you “got a strong heart beat,” ya dig! Lyrical Rating: 4.6 | My Rating: 3.1

14. “What If I Don’t Make It”
To answer tha title: Then, you’ll STILL be recognized as a legend, ya dig! Let’s see what you got ta offer here… >>> I knew this was gonna be kinda not on my level… It’s a lil’ betta and catchier here. Tha beat iz okay and tha hook iz good for yourself. Tha 1st verse DEFINITELY iz true wit all tha shit you’re sayin’ (e.g., “If I would’ve wrote 1,000 bars”). A lotta people get underlooked. If you think you’re underlooked, look at me: I have a lack of attention and I don’t know why. That’s why I do everything I do, ESPECIALLY fa Louisiana!! I believe I gon be remembered as a legend but I don’t believe in dyin’! There’s NO WAY someone wit Autism dies in my opinion!! Tha 2nd verse was still motivational here so I’m givin’ you more props ta lettin’ tha unmotivated people know ta stay motivated! Glad you kept tha 3rd verse goin’ along too! Once again, offerin’ anotha lyrical rating here; it’s betta than tha last song! Lyrical Rating: 4.7 | My Rating: 3.8

15. “If It Wasn’t For Love” Feat. Frankie J
Oh, it’s this again, lol. This iz a good ending song and here’s why: More smooth shit here although Frankie sounds good on tha hook. Tha beat iz pretty good fa what it iz. Tha beat kicked in betta when you came through on tha 1st verse, Max! Still comin’ through wit those pretty good lyrics here! Glad you didn’t “play football” ‘cause football players I dealt wit in 2007 were all about bullshit! BULL-SHIT!! Not about real shit, ya dig! Tha 2nd verse pretty good wit tha lyrics fa this; sounds like you spit some powerful shit! Talk about powerful shit: Tha 3rd verse DEFINITELY has some powerful lyrics into tha body and err-thang, ya dig! Tha ending wit Frankie J sounded like it was strictly fa tha R&B peeps. My Current Rating: 3.8

Overall: This was an above average CD. You did ya thang, supplyin’ tha hood. There weren’t that many songs that were REALLY, REALLY capturin’ though. Glad you put out anotha CD though and I’m definitely lookin’ forward ta checkin’ out all your older CDs in my Louisiana Reviewz Marathon!

Review #377: Hurricane Chris "Unleashed"

Reviewed on 12.30.2009 (Review #377)

Back up in here… It’s FrankieThaLuckyDog and I ‘bout ta do tha next review. This iz tha last mainstream CD I’m reviewin’ this year AND decade, lol. Here goes my review fa Hurricane Chris Unleashed! Start Time: 2:06 PM | End Time: 2:55 PM

01. “I’m Back”
Wit Shawty Redd doin’ this beat, how will you make a comeback? >>> Tha beat iz cool here and you sound like you’re “back” ta kick ass here! This could be a gr8 intro track here, ya dig. Gotta luv when you rap fast!! Cool 1st verse and I like how you say in tha hook, “I finna be a pain in tha ass!!” I like how every 1st, 5th, 9th & 13th line, it sounds like a movie intro wit tha beat! Kickin’ more ass on tha 2nd verse here; good shit to tha fullest!! My Rating: 4.3

02. “Beat It Out The Frame”
A Phunk Dawg beat this time… This iz like a typical sayin’ of yours so let’s see how it turns into a song… >>> Sounds like a cool intro here once again wit tha beat; I’m feelin’ this style! LOL @ tha hook wit its repetitiveness! It’s cool fa what it iz and you sound crazy on tha 1st verse wit tha flow, lol! Nice job deliverin’ tha 1st verse and tha hook iz hella catchy wit tha beat! You got a grimy voice on tha 2nd verse, lol! Continuin’ your CRAZY-ASS flow on tha 2nd verse; err-body must luv you, lol! Nice beat outro too on this shit right chea! My Rating: 4.4

03. “Halle Berry (She’s Fine)” Feat. Superstarr
I originally thought it was “She’s Fine (Halle Berry)” but I guess it was changed up later… It’s also hard ta spell Superstarr’s name sometimes. Sometimes, I think Supastaar or Superstaar… I wouldn’t’ve guessed Play N Skillz did this beat… Anyway, I was neva big about this song; didn’t really feel tha whole “dance” shit and tha hook iz ehh… However, you sound catchy on tha 1st verse, especially wit your flow on tha 1st verse wit tha “ratchet/ratchet” and “captain/captain” parts. I only thought tha Techno/Urban station on Long Island played this song on tha radio but then again, I saw it on MTV Jams not too long ago, lol. Tha 2nd verse was just aight fa this… I didn’t realize Superstarr had a lil’ verse himself; it was okay. My Current Rating: 2.7

04. “Coke Bottle” Feat. Mouse
I think I’ll DEFINITELY look forward ta this one, ESPECIALLY wit my agent’s birthday on tha length (4:16)!! And Mouse produced it himself! This prolly gon be MY “Halle Berry” song!! >>> Tha beat sounds decent for a start but Mouse sounds catchy on tha hook. Yea, this iz betta than tha “Halle Berry” song. You’re on tha 1st verse and it sounds like you got a lotta positive references for this gurl here. Tha 2nd verse sounds okay too; you’re contributin’ more positive references here so dat’s a plus. You had a short 3rd verse on here too that sounded pretty good. I don’t know what else ta say… My Rating: 4.0

05. “Headboard” Feat. Mario & Plies
The Inkredibles produced this… This iz tha 2nd single and I saw this one on MTV Jams way more than tha “Halle Berry” one. Once again, I lost my taste in mainstream music April 2009 so I neva got ta hear tha whole thing fa this song; lemme hear now. >>> LMAO @ Mario and his “fuckin’” part!! I would’ve neva guessed dat came from him in a long run! Tha beat iz pretty cool and tha hook sounds good too. I think this tha 1st time where there’s buku female songs in a row where I don’t mind it. I guess it’s ‘cause these songs sound pretty good… You still deliverin’ some good lyrics for tha ladies in tha 1st verse here. LMAO @ Plies… “What you want in yo stomach? A gurl or a boy?” His contribution iz always good on a track, especially wit a lil’ laugh! You’re on tha 3rd verse and you “stroke it like you’re 35;” that line was good that you had ta repeat it wit a screwed voice. Overall, this became a pretty good song. There were a bunch of pluses here that I liked. My Rating: 4.1

½time: This iz lookin’ like a pretty good CD so far! You seem ta have pretty good mainstream music right here! Glad some of it iz gettin’ recognized too! Tha average CD rating currently iz 3.9; we got five more songs plus a bonus left!

06. “Last Call” Feat. Bobby Valentino
Rodnae did tha beat here. Not sure if he’s tha same dude as Rodney that produces fa undaground Louisiana rappers (a.k.a. “Beats How U Want ‘Em”). I have a feelin’ they tha same people ‘cause of tha Louisiana location and dat he produced fa Boosie too. Who knows what I’ll expect here… >>> I don’t know but dat was a different tag in tha beginning (it said, “Rodnae made tha beat”). Anotha Bobby V collaboration here and tha beat iz DEFINITELY sick here!! And it’s anotha gr8 hook from him too just like on tha latest Juvenile CD! You’re on tha 1st verse here and it sounds pretty good! You got your flow on lock here so you KNOW you gettin’ a plus! It switched up as Bobby V iz on tha 2nd verse here wit his “turned on” swag fa err-body here. Not bad fa tha 2nd verse; it’s betta than typical singers tryna have a singin’ verse. You’re back on tha 3rd verse here, Hurricane, and it’s a pretty interestin’ verse. You did ya thang on this dark beat here. My Rating: 4.3

07. “I Want It” Feat. Fiend 4 Da Money
It’s a Fiend beat also here… Iz this a different Fiend dude since he has “4 Da Money” in his name too? This could be interestin’ so I gon have ta check it out! >>> Tha beat start here iz pretty interestin’; nearly reminds me of some good mainstream Urban shit. LOL @ tha start to tha hook! Tha Fiend 4 Da Money dude (not ta be confused wit just Fiend tha rapper) sounds GR8 on tha hook!! Tha voice iz nice and dark fa this dark-type of beat! Nice job wit tha 1st verse too, Hurricane; soundin’ good. LOL @ tha start to tha 2nd verse wit your REALLY fast rhymes, lol!! It sounds REAL interestin’ ta hear!! My Rating: 3.9

08. “Secret Lover” Feat. Cherish
Don Vito did this beat… I liked all tha otha female songs but I think this one gon not sound tha best fa me… >>> It’s not that bad for a start here… I like tha Southern vibe in tha beat and Cherish sound good on this wit tha hook. You’re doin’ tha 1st verse here and it sounds pretty good. You got tha lyrics ta make damn near any female luv you. You sound betta on tha flow here on tha 2nd verse; good delivery here wit tha lyrics. Tha rest of tha song iz just a lil’ interlude and then tha hook repeated. My Rating: 3.6

09. “No Worries” Feat. Beenie Man & Isis
Once again, Don Vito on tha beat… I think this’ll be a good collaboration; hope it sounds good! >>> One of tha ladies in tha Reggae scene must be featured on tha hook; who iz it? Pretty catchy hook wit this pretty good beat! You’re comin’ through wit tha raw flow on tha 1st verse! LMAO @ “Oprah datin’ Master P;” Oprahful! I just went on Wikipedia and it says Isis iz tha featured female. Here’s Beenie Man on tha 2nd verse and he sounds REAL GR8 on this shit, lol!! He has always sounded interestin’ ta me and it was cool he had a bunch of mainstream success earlier in this decade. Catchy-ass 2nd verse and it goes gr8 wit this random style! You’re on tha 3rd verse here and I think you said 100 words before I could even type anything, lol!! You REALLY came through REAL FAST on tha 3rd verse, doin’ tha damn thang!! My Rating: 4.4

10. “Hot Like Lava”
Raphael RJ2 did this beat… I really like a title when it has an element in it and this one has fire in it!! DEFINITELY gon be lookin’ forward ta this one!! >>> So this iz tha “Beats How U Want ‘Em” dude also? I wouldn’t’ve guessed; this should be excitin’ ta hear then! LOL @ tha “babies wit boogers in they nose” line! You tryna REALLY spit dat “lava” here? It’s pretty good here and tha hook iz nice and repetitive, lol! Tha 1st ½ of it sounded good and tha 2nd ½ of tha hook was pretty good wit added lyrics. Here you are on tha 2nd verse spittin’ some mo shit! Nice job wit tha verses and this sounded like a NICE joint ta hear!! My Rating: 4.3

11. “Touch Bases” Feat. Bobby Valentino
Had ta YouTube this one ta see it ‘cause it didn’t come in tha mp3 folder… How will it go wit Drum Majors on tha beat? >>> Tha beat iz pretty good here for a start. Anotha female song, lol? I liked tha otha Bobby Valentino song betta on here. You’re on tha 1st verse here and because tha year iz endin’, it’s slowly remindin’ me of dat Bow Wow song wit Jagged Edge from Late 2003… Okay job on tha 1st verse. You still comin’ through fa these ladies here. Tha lyrics are pretty interestin’ on tha 2nd verse; lol @ tha “like a nerd wit a book” line (I think that’s what you said). I heard Bobby V on tha bridge part and it was okay; not bad of a song. My Rating: 3.5

Overall: Looked like tha whole entire CD was for tha females. There were like no street anthems of hood songs here… However, it was a pretty good CD; you had tha bangaz here! Keep up tha gr8 work and once again, thanx fa commentin’ on you bein’ on my playlist back on June 12/13ish, 2007 when you wrote me back on MySpace!

Rankings (according to my ratings):

11. “Halle Berry (She’s Fine)” Feat. Superstarr 2.7

Review #376: Birdman "Pricele$$"

Reviewed on 12.30.2009 (Review #376)

Still here on tha night of December 29, lol! I finna do my 6th review for today! Yea, it’s Birdman Pricele$$. I’m tryna review every Louisiana CD so this one had ta get reviewed… especially before tha year ends. Anyway, here goes my review for Birdman Pricele$$. Start Time: 12:21 AM | End Time: 9:54 AM

01. “Intro”
T-Minus on tha beat here… Let’s see what’s cooked up fa tha Birdman, lol! >>> Tha beat iz pretty cool and you sound okay fa a start on this intro… You’re ALWAYS laced wit kick-ass beats. It was an okay intro fa what it was. I wonder what this CD’ll be like… My Rating: 3.8

02. “Been About Money”
I.N.F.O. did this beat; let’s see how it sounds… >>> Welcome anotha future producer here! This sounds too typical though wit tha topic and how it sounds on tha hook… Tha 1st verse was okay… I don’t know what I’m gonna say wit a song like this that has such a typical topic that I hear so much in tha mainstream these dayz… If it wasn’t for this HOT beat, this wouldn’t’ve lasted. An okay 2nd verse once again also… Even tha 3rd verse can be thrown inta tha typical verses throughout this song. My Rating: 3.6

03. “Money To Blow” Feat. Drake & Lil’ Wayne
A Drumma Boy beat here… I know this iz a mainstream song and has been out for a while now. However, after April 2009, I stopped followin’ tha whole “mainstream sources” on gettin’ every single song that airs on a station so I neva got ta completely hear this. Lemme see tha song in its entirety… >>> I slightly have heard this and wit Drake in tha beginning, it’s catchy. Tha hook iz anotha catchy part too. You’re on tha 2nd verse and I can’t really leave feedback; there’s no catchy lyrics as they’re usually tha same everytime I hear you… Wayne part was also ehh on tha 3rd verse too. My Current Rating: 3.7

04. “Money Machine”
Huh? How did X-Fyle do a beat here? I thought by reviewin’ an artist like you that I’d be far away from my Louisiana peeps in Baton Rouge… But as cool as it seems, how will you handle tha typical topic? >>> Not only iz it typical wit tha topic but tha “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy” Weezy sample iz in tha hook. I like it but how many times have I heard it since 2006 when it first came out? Birdman, what if tha world was “moneyless?” What would you do? How much water would you have in your system? LOL… For a mainstream CD, at least this iz a good X-Fyle beat. I like how tha beat sounds in tha 2nd verse… I still have no feedback on any of tha shit you’re spittin’. Damn, talk about a long-ass 2nd verse? My Rating: 3.4

05. “Pricele$$” Feat. Lil’ Wayne
Timbaland did this beat and it’s 5:33? It BETTA be worth my time!! Anotha money title, lol! Tha album title should’ve just been called Money; plain & simple! >>> Sounds gay in tha beginning wit Wayne. Still comin’ through okay on tha 1st verse; you’re lucky I’m more awake than usual right now! I would prolly be fallin’ asleep right outta my chair! Tha hook iz pretty gay fa me; can’t stand tha vocal style!! Boring 2nd verse… For a Timbaland beat, where tha hell iz tha catchy sounds??? *Yawn* A horrible soundin’ Weezy interlude before tha 3rd verse. Finally, I can quote one of your lines, lol! I like tha “cookin’ like it’s gumbo” part! I’m slowly gettin’ tired listenin’ ta this… Do I have ta wait anotha 70 seconds? My Rating: 2.2

06. “Bring It Back” Feat. Lil’ Wayne
LOL, you did tha beat? This was an old Weezy title from ’04… >>> Not 100% inta tha beat here… Tha sounds may be cool but it doesn’t sound tha best. WTF’s up wit tha style in Wayne’s voice on tha hook? Sounds like a computer… LOL, you’re comin’ through gangsta wit tha “tool in your hand;” lol? Okay verse although quite boring still. Wayne’s vocals are so hypnotic on tha hook, rofl! I think we’re still on tha “money” topic too, lol. No comment on tha 2nd verse too… Anotha odd 3rd verse. Just ‘cause of dat weird hook, this should be above all tha otha songs. My Rating: 3.9

07. “Nightclub”
LOL, anotha X-Fyle beat? How did y’all become so cool wit each otha? >>> I still have tha last hook in my head, lol! You and your money durin’ tha 1st verse. Since you LUV it so much, how much did you pay X-Fyle for tha beats here? Huh, tha hook already? Why no transition? Neva mind, I seem confused. Does tha hook start wit tha gay-ass Auto-Tune? Sounded nasty on tha vocals. Tha 2nd verse was more fulla dat ehh/ugh shit… It’s like I’m bein’ put ta sleep or somethin’. You STILL spittin’ typical lyrics in tha 3rd verse; Y-A to tha W-N!! My Rating: 2.1

08. “4 My Town (Play Ball)” Feat. Drake & Lil’ Wayne
Tha producer here iz Boi-1da. I heard of him before on some various CDs I prolly reviewed… Let’s see what we got here wit this “play ball” shit… >>> LOL @ tha first two seconds wit tha “ball.” You were in tha beginning wit your boring typicalness. Then, I heard tha hook from Drake and it was okay. He was also on tha 1st verse soundin’ good too. You took ova tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse, takin’ Drake’s shine away, sadly. His part was way betta… Nothin’ ta say about tha 2nd verse… Did I miss Weezy, lol? LOL, talk about driftin’ off!! My Rating: 3.6

09. “Hustle” Feat. Gudda & Lil’ Wayne
We got a Drew dude on tha beat; let’s see what happens… >>> What’s wit tha typical Wayne hook? He ain’t even in tha ID, lol? I just gon put him in there anyway… Why was dat recycled Wayne (from “Dear Lord”?) part added ta this song? I guess tha 1st verse iz from Gudda? It’s pretty good; more on tha more-explorive type-shit wit tha topics, lol! I find it funny how Wayne was just left outta tha ID! Time ta laugh! No comment on his part on tha 2nd verse too. You’re on tha 3rd verse and talk about typicalness… “play like a ball;” yawn… My Rating: 2.8

½time: Not really a CD I would like… Good beats but borin’ verses. Tha features are kinda typical but tha producers (e.g., X-Fyle) have it on lock here! Only 3.2 iz tha average CD rating currently…

10. “Shinin’” Feat. T-Pain
I don’t wanna hear this and T-Pain did tha beat too… >>> Nothin’ excitin’ here for a start. Anotha uncommented verse from you and dat hook iz just TOO gay fa me!! My God, “shinin’ like a spot, SPOT;” WTF!? Sounds like Drake wrote your 2nd verse ‘cause it sounds like you have his flow? LOL @ tha flow on tha 3rd verse wit tha “er”s! That was an attention grabber but still, nothin’ special still! My Rating: 1.9

11. “Mo Milly” Feat. Drake & Bun B
Got Boi-1da on tha beat again… This iz a betta collaboration and looks like it’s aimin’ fa tha “money” topic again, lol… >>> Sounds like some Summer-type vibes in tha beginning…; nothin’ special though. I don’t know what ta say about tha 1st verse… There’s nothin’ ta comment about. I like how Drake iz comin’ through on tha 2nd verse; catchy shit here FINALLY!! LOL @ his “I just lost my Gucci sandal in tha sand” part; nice shit! Bun sounds pretty good on his part throughout tha 3rd verse! Glad he contributed ta tha mixtape also! My Rating: 3.8

Break: I didn’t wanna take a break but this CD REALLY made me wanna fall asleep! Will it take faeva fa me ta get up? I dunno… *Sleeps* … *Gets up*

12. “I Want It All” Feat. Lil’ Wayne & Kevin Rudolf
And even Kevin Rudolf produced this one (a lotta self-producin’ on this CD, lol?)… I can just imagine what gon happen when I hear it… >>> More on tha 110–120 BPM style here wit tha faster beat… I usually go for this type of stuff but it’s kinda off to a cheesy start… It sounded like a cheesy Kevin Rudolf hook but it’s still a lil’ catchy. Tha 1st verse from you sounded different from this CD so it’s at least a lil’ bit of a plus… This iz DEFINITELY nowhere near a Louisiana sound though. Wayne was okay/nothin’ special on his part on tha 2nd verse. You even have a 3rd verse here and it sounds like you’re tryin’ ta be catchy; okay verse fa you. My Rating: 3.7

13. “Always Strapped (Remix)” Feat. Lil’ Wayne & Mack Maine
Mr. Beatz beat… I’ve known this one for a while due to Music Choice and a lil’ bit of MTV play. I liked this betta than tha remix I originally heard wit Ross on it and tha hook iz more on my “deadly ’07 dayz” type soundin’ wit tha dickridin’ Wayne sound. At least tha Wayne verse here iz good; all interestin’ rhymes here. Mack Maine sounded good fa his part on tha 2nd verse. Why’d “Got Money (Remix)” make him turn into Pop-Rap? That’s what I feel like… Sounds like a typical verse from you on tha 3rd verse… There were a lotta singles from this CD that were released. Then again, that’s what it’s like in tha mainstream today. My Current Rating: 3.8

14. “MP”
Olympicks did this beat; will they be good? >>> Somethin’ about “chickens” in tha beginning/hook/sample? It sounds like a cool intro but will it hold off anotha four minutes? I guess I won’t hate on your 1st verse; it was okay. Now, it’s more on tha typical side for tha 2nd verse so I don’t need ta say anything. You’re SO blinged out on tha 3rd verse too…, lol! My Rating: 3.7

15. “Ball Till Ya Fall” Feat. Gucci Mane
Anotha Boi-1da beat… >>> Sounds like “A Milli” type beat in tha beginning; did he really produce dat beat? LMAO, Gucci Mane on tha 1st verse! LOL @ them not sourcin’ Gucci on tha feature! How you leave a name like dat out? It might’ve increased sales a lil’ bit if he was listed, lol!! It was an okay verse, regardless. Tha hook iz just simple wit tha title… I like how you come in wit tha “kush” part in tha beginning of tha 2nd verse. I don’t have much ta say also about tha verse once again… I don’t need ta say anything about tha 3rd verse too. I guess I’ll describe it in one word: “Birdmanful;” it has your typicalness in it. My Rating: 3.5

16. “Grindin’, Making Money” Feat. Lil’ Kim & Nicki Minaj
Anotha Mr. Beatz joint… At least wit Lil’ Kim on this, can we get some shit on and poppin’ here? >>> I don’t like tha start… Oh no, Kim has been Auto-Tuned! Her lyrics were betta than yours and I’m sure she’s grindin’ harder wit tha rhymes here, lol. Still, I don’t like all this Auto-Tune shit! As for you on tha 2nd verse, it may be Auto-Tuneless but Kim did a betta job! As for Nicki on tha 3rd verse, I’ve always had a real low anticipation level for her when I heard her on Dedication 3 last year ‘cause she had a horrible Auto-Tune song. But yea, nothin’ ta say about her verse although I liked her Drake flow. My Rating: 3.1

17. “Written On Her (Remix)” Feat. Jay Sean & Mack Maine
LOL, HERE it iz!! Now, you’ll FINALLY get a 4.0+ rating after 17 songs! Iz that a record or what? And you produced this beat tha whole time? How’d you find out about Morgan Page Feat. Lissie “The Longest Road (Deadmau5 Remix Radio Edit), which iz what it samples? I DEFINITELY like how you sampled that beat and made it inta a song like this. Tha hook sounds good too wit Jay Sean on it. I rememba hearin’ it for tha first time in tha car, thinkin’ it was “The Longest Road,” but it surprised me. Yea, you had like nothin’ much in tha 1st verse but you did ya thang on tha beat! I didn’t realize this was a remix ‘cause now, we got Mack Maine on tha 2nd verse; lol @ no original version. That’s a lil’ different for a mainstream CD… It was an okay verse from Mack Maine though. LOL, you snuck inta tha 3rd verse here wit your original 3rd verse. It’s a slow flow and typical but I give a thumbs up to tha “purple dro;” you know. LOL, it says it also features Flo Rida; I didn’t hear him? Iz dat an error? LOL… I think it could’ve been left as tha original but it’s okay… I noticed how tha ending has Lissie’s voice as it’s a cold ending. I thought that was interestin’. My Rating: 4.0

18. “Southside (Remix)” Feat. Lil’ Wayne, Rick Ross & Mack Maine
Infamous & Slick did tha beat here… Anotha remix so let’s see how we gon end it (oh yea, I got tha “Deluxe Edition” so iz that why there’s these remixes?)… >>> This sounds like a cool ending song; I like tha beat start a lot. There’s even a catchy Wayne hook here. Good start… But, here you come wit some typicalness on tha 1st verse; yawn… Time for tha 2nd verse… Mack Maine’d out… Sounded interestin’ at 2:08 wit tha “make it outside” part. It was an okay verse once again; how will Ross do? It was okay fa what it was; at least this wasn’t horrible. My Rating: 3.8

Overall: It looks like it took ova nine hours ta review but that’s ‘cause I went to sleep. It really took one hour, 22 minutes total ta review this. Either way, I don’t feel that this CD earned a 3.4 average CD rating but those last songs helped it rise up… I wasn’t crazy about this CD; you sound betta in my Louisiana Reviewz Marathon as B-32 (I think that’s tha name).
