Reviewed on 3.08.2008 (Review No. 72)

Watz good C-Coop it's Frankie. 'Bout to do a review for your mixtape wit ya boy Swidda G "From TB To LP (Hosted by DJ Krazy Cris)", so here it goes. And happy 64th birthday to my rappin' grandma today!! Here's my review for C-Coop & Swidda G "From TB To LP: The Mixtape (Hosted by DJ Krazy Cris)". Start Time: 8:22 PM | Video Game Playing: Super Mario RPG (for Super Nintendo) (on my computer)

Disclaimer:
I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me or have auto-tune in your vocals, I’m not buyin’ it!

01. "DJ Krazy Cris Intro / In TB And LP"
Iz this an intro? I wanna hear it either way. I got a High AL (anticipation level)! >>> Okay cool tha first minute and few seconds was tha intro, and now it's goin' into C-Coop. Soundin' good so far for tha beginning. "Run ya like an avalanche." Tight line Coop. I see it rewinded back. No wonder… it's hot! "Outlined in chalk." Yeah C-Coop, you DEFINITELY did yo thang on this dawg. Swidda G had a real good part too. Definitely feelin' this for a start. Love that hook. Great beat too. My Rating: 4.4

02. "We Got It"
Yeah tha 2 of ya'll DEFINITELY got it! High AL for this one too! >>> Yeah tha hook tells tha truth! "We need it, we got it. You need it? We got it." Yeah pretty good part by Swidda G, but C-Coop, you did a FUCKIN' GREAT JOB wit that hook! It's real tiiiiiiiiight! Yeah you got a vicious flow too. My Rating: 4.5

03. "Fresh"
Yeah ya'll definitely fresh… Especially wit tha girbauds. High AL (due to tha quality of tha last 2 jointz on here)!! >>> C-Coop, you sound a lil' different on this mixtape (I guess 'cause it has been a minute since I heard shit from you). Still real good tho. Real nice verse. Good verse by Swidda G. Yeah C-Coop be KILLIN' tha hooks (in a real good way)! They're so tight! My Rating: 4.3

04. "Tha Park"
Ohhhh this… I downloaded this from yo page… I think it's a jacked beat, and I'm sure it's just you. Lemme re-hear this… >>> Okay it's not a jacked beat. It's a hot beat. Yeah, definitely "have ya city cravin'." That beat iz SO HOT and tha flow iz real great too wit those hot rhymes of C-Coop! Oh I'm wrong again. Swidda G iz in it too. Swidda G DEFINITELY did his fuckin' thang on this too! This shit iz just soooooooooo tight!! My Rating: 4.8

05. "Street Life"
Might've heard this one too, but I'm really not sure… >>> Okay I think it's new for me. Lol @ that girl sample. I dig it (usually they sound weird to me). I love that that sample keeps goin' back and forth (as this joint keeps rewindin' back and forth). I'm lovin' it! Too bad tha hook (along wit that sample) didn't continue at tha end, but it was still good. That's a real good sample "alone in tha street." My Rating: 4.3

06. "G-L-O-C-K-N-I-N-E"
I heard tha lil' "Mouse On Tha Track…" part in tha end of tha "Street Life" song. Because that title iz a bunch of letters (which I really like what it spells), I'm assuming this iz over tha "Independent" beat. I heard J. Cash do his THANG on his own version that was "M-O-T-I-V-A-T-I-O-N", so I DEFINITELY wanna hear this version! VERY HIGH AL!!! >>> It didn't connect wit tha end of tha "Street Life" 'cause it goes "Ma—L-O-C-K-N-I-N-E…" when it's connected. Either way, I didn't expect you to be on tha "G-L-O-C-K-N-I-N-E" part Coop. At least it rewinds so you could hear tha "G". Hey I like that phone call after tha hook (and it even rewinds to tha official connection of "Mouse On Tha Track… G-L-O-C-K-N-I-N-E…" Yeah DEFINITELY such a FUCKIN' HOT hook!!! This iz like one of those jointz that sounds REALLY good to rework. I really like tha "pussy nigga get down!!" Great verse too! I just REALLY love that hook! Good verse by Swidda G. I'm REAL glad tha hook came on at tha end again!! My Rating: 4.7

½time: REAL GOOD start! Really love tha shit C-Coop does (no wonder why I made him a "Certified Goon" video)! I gotta take a shit, and I'mma be right back!

07. Swidda G "Tha Camp"
Lemme hear this shit!! *Gets a drink and comes back in 60 seconds…* >>> Too bad it's only 1:40. Really like that "creepin'-up" beat intro. That beat iz on FUCKIN' POINT! STR8 FIYAH for a freestyle type of track!! I guess C-Coop ain't on this one. Too bad it was so short. I would've rated it higher. My Rating: 4.2

08. C-Coop Feat. G-Money "Gunshyne"
Yeah that's tha state where ya'll from, ya dig. I dig that shit. >>> Didn't expect a sample like that "ain't no sunshine…" sample. Good choice tho. Like tha long intro. Good part by you C-Coop. I guess someone else iz on tha 2nd verse (if I'm not mistaken). Sounds like a dude G-Money. Sounds pretty good. I finna put it in tha ID 'cause it didn't sound like Swidda G. My Rating: 4.1

09. "I Kan Make" Feat. G-Money
If I had to guess tha word that comes after tha title, I'd say "money" 'cause that's DEFINITELY what you "kan make". >>> I'm gettin' all anticipated 'cause it keeps rewinding. I was sorta right about "money" bein' after tha title in tha hook. It may not be tha word, but it's definitely about makin' money (on tha drug side). Who was tha rapper on tha 1st verse? It still was real good, but you need to source who it iz… Pretty good part by C-Coop. Great part by Swidda G too. That beat at tha end sounds cool (tha last 5 seconds). Iz it part of tha next song? My Rating: 4.2
EDIT: After re-hearing "Gunshyne" (skimmin' thru it), it sounds a lil' like that G-Money dude in this song, so I finna put him in tha ID.

10. "Who Tha Fuck"
??? >>> Okay great intro hook by C-Coop! "Who tha fuck you talkin' to??" I don't mind that repetitiveness in tha beginning. It just was unexpected. Swidda G iz that dude. He on some tight shit. He spittin' that tight shit. Thumbs up to that boy Swidda G. I finna add him on Myspace if I can find him. I like that "not that nigga from LP, not that nigga from TB" part in tha hook. REAL good!! I actually really liked that Swidda G was more on this joint. It just sounded better for some reason. My Rating: 4.4

11. "Struggle"
I've been waiting to hear this song, so I definitely got a High AL for it! I wanna hear this badly!! EDIT: Took a few minutes break 'cause MTV Jams today has been playing Janet Jackson videos all day long (like it'll be every other video), and tha video that's on right now "Every Time" (from a lil' over a decade ago) looks real good lookin', so it stole my focus for a few minutes. >>> Yes it's 5 minutes, 4 seconds long!! Okay VERY good beat and VERY good hook! Love it already! Great verse, and like other jointz, I LOVE tha hook better! Really like that there was 2 C-Coop verses! Swidda G on tha 3rd! His verse wasn't as good as C-Coop's 2 on this tho. Definitely what I was anticipating… only better! And speaking of which, tha only "struggle" I mainly have iz making friends. Back in tha day it was more of a "struggle" for me 'cause of my transition from Long Island, New York to shitty-ass Northeast Pennsylvania. I officially moved up to NEPA August 17, 2002, a few weeks before I started high school. I didn't have any true friends (pretty much didn't care for anyone either) 'cause none of them liked Rap music sadly, and I HATED when all tha people in my high school would HATE Rap music. It just pissed me tha fuck off… Tha only Rap they knew was Eminem and 50 Cent. I also HATED when they'd talk to me about them. WTF (why tha fuck) would I care about them? They're too mainstream. I know enough shit about them (I like Eminem but not 50 Cent – Eminem iz like tha only Pop rapper I like). As I got into college, I mainly hung out wit black dudes (I'm not racist; I just wanted a change in my life, ESPECIALLY to experience tha urban world). First semester was successful. 2nd was good/bad (good hangouts but few haterz). 3rd was a big struggle (too many people disliking me outta nowhere). Now, 4th semester, things are at a high (when I try not to think about it). I'm startin' to not be interested in bein' wit tha people from tha past semesters since I now have a new click I hang out wit. They blow lots of people from my college out tha water 'cause (in C-Coop's words) "my click ain't shit to be fuck'd wit!" My new click consists of my boyz Jewison, Juice, and Rosco. I'm also gettin' more recognized thanx to my click. My Rating: 4.6

12. "Rydin'" Feat. 3rd Court Records
Gotta like tha "rydin'" songs. Hope this a good one! >>> 10:29 ON THA LENGTH?!?!? Shit that's fuckin' watz good! What tha hell gon come outta this? Okay I don't know that 1st dude. I hear C-Coop throwin' ad-libs durin' tha verse tho. I tried to make out who was on tha 1st verse, but couldn't make out. I hear Swidda on tha 2nd. Tha beat iz pickin' up too. Shit iz jammin'. Good verse/flow by Swidda G. I heard C-Coop say that Killa C iz up next. Okay pretty good on his part. No. 70 iz next… He sounds like this dude Kelson from my college. Good part by him. Because there's so many people, I'm just gonna put "Feat. 3rd Court Records" in tha ID. That 5th dude's part was pretty good. Great part by tha 6th dude. I hear Dred (from "Nothin' To B Fuck'd Wit") on tha 7th part. Sounds more on tha Jamaican type. C-Coop on tha 8th part. Of course, doin' tha damn thang! Shit, you even quoted that part in "Nothin' To B Fuck'd Wit": "my click ain't shit to be fuck'd wit" due to my new click, that's like my quote of tha year so far! At about 7:32, it sounds like you copy/pasted tha beat together 'cause I heard a 10th of a second of silence. C-Coop ended it at about tha 8 minute mark. What tha hell's left of tha last 2 and a ½ minutes? Okay Krazy Cris at tha end. There's another copy/paste wit a 10th of a second of silence at 8:53. Lol… Good shout outs and all that shit at tha end. Ya should add this too in tha future: "Shout out to my dawg FrankieThaLuckyDog reppin' Long Island, New York. He be doin' tha damn thang when it comes to supportin' us." Either way, that was some real tight shit hearin' those 6 rappers featured! Real good to have a whole click on one song!! My Rating: 4.2

13. C-Coop "Thank You"
I just gotta say "thank you" for this mixtape C-Coop! EDIT: I just checked tha back cover, and I see that this iz not even labeled on tha back cover. It says also there's a "Alwoodz Goonz Skit" and I didn't hear no skit in between "Struggle" and "Rydin'", but tha way I labeled everything seems right… ONE MORE THING: If this song gets a 4.0 or higher rating from me, this'll be tha VERY FIRST mixtape/CD wit ALL 4.0 or higher ratings!! Let's see if it'll happen… … … … … … … … >>> Oh shit "A Dozen Roses (You Remind Me)" beat… Who tha hell would've guessed? C-Coop, WHERE ARE YOU??? Yeah who's tha dude on this? YES FUCKIN' C-COOP ON THIS BEAT!!!!!!!!! Yeah "had to rob his pussy ass!" Nice shit on tha Monica beat! Not sure about that dude on tha hook… Okay I'm feelin' tha hook better now, and C-Coop's 1st verse was better than tha 2nd. Oh shit 3 verses for Coop. That's watz good! Yeah pretty good 3rd verse too. Gotta give this a great rating, especially since it caught my attention unexpectically. CONGRATS on 4.0 or higher on EVERY song!! 1st TIME EVA!!! My Rating: 4.2

Overall: End Time: 10:02 PM. Perfect timing to end 'cause I gotta hit up my boy Jimmy The DJ (some dude from Louisiana that I have a connection wit). I gotta tell him about you 'cause you're from Florida. We'll see what he says. Either way, PERFECT MIXTAPE! FUCKIN' LOVED IT!!! I definitely have to hit you up on your phone about this shit! I'll hit Jimmy up, then my rappin' grandma, and then you C-Coop. Keep doin' yo ma'fuckin' thang, and I definitely hope to meet/work wit you in tha future.
