Review #1,505: Lil' Sonny "Roaches & Reggies 2 Flights & Fetty"

Reviewed on 6.30.2016 (Review #1,505)

Wow, me doin’ two reviewz in a day? Been a while since that’s happened! Feelin’ tha grind today, since it’s tha last day of tha month! This next review iz an unknown artist from Clinton, LA that friended me on Facebook five years ago! Lil’ Sonny Roaches & Reggies 2 Flights & Fetty! Diggin’ tha title, even though tha “E” in “Roaches” iz missing from tha front cover… Signed with Code 68 Records, here, this was released today, on his birthday! Happy Birthday! Also, what are tha odds of me reviewin’ a CD tha day it comes out, especially workin’ six dayz a week? Anotha special moment! Tha artwork appeared on my timeline yesterday & between tha dreads and rockin’ tha Gildan boxers, I had ta take tha time out ta peep this out! Not to mention, Percy Keith just wrote me anotha letter from jail! Wow, I’m winnin’!! And, tha bitch-made person I can’t stand at my job’s gettin’ even more demoted 2morrow; wow, I’m winnin’ even more!! Without further or do, let’s do dis!!! Start Time: 8:17 PM | End Time: 8:37 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

01. “#TOYB Intro”
Now, I ain’t neva heard your music before, so anything can happen! >>> Oh boy, “U Guessed It” on tha beat; I guessed it… Or, well, that’s what it sounds like in tha beginning… Hearin’ what you spittin’ and it sounds like you got a good voice. Let’s just hope your beats are original and on-n-poppin’… Kinda sounds like random rhymes, here; nothin’ special… Kinda like tha “blast, cash, hashtag” consecutive rhymin’… We’ll see how this CD progresses… My Rating: 3.1

02. “Krazy”
>>> Ehh… Boosie Badazz “Crazy” beat, it sounds like… Happy Birthday; I skipped it, due to auto-tune! My Rating: 1.0

03. “Give Me That”
>>> Really? “Give Me That” from ’05? I’ll just kick back and just listen, fa no reason… I like how you have an explicit perspective on this like Webbie, but absolutely no interest fa me! You need original production!! My Rating: 1.1

04. “Like Baby”
Oh boy, just seein’ these titles, now, I betcha they’re all jacked beats… >>> I’m skippin’ auto-tune! My Rating: 1.0

05. “Cut It”
>>> B…l…a…h… Just ramblin’… I don’t wanna hear tha rest!! My Rating: 1.0

06. “North”
>>> I don’t recognize this beat; let’s see what happens… Ugh, sounds like somethin’ familiar and sounds like all tha mumblin’ rappers out now, smh. Well, lemme put it this way: If you want “that rep from up North [me],” I suggest you have original production!! My Rating: 1.2

07. “Rolling”
>>> I don’t like when your voice echoes! So fuckin’ random, here, with tha rhymes; can’t listen ta this! I still don’t get how you went “from Roaches & Reggie 2 Flights & Fetty” when you don’t even have original production! My Rating: 1.3

08. “Donald Trump (March Madness)”
>>> I skipped it; it had auto-tune in it! My Rating: 1.0

½time: Awful; forget about my rating for tha 1st track! What’s with all tha jacked beats? I thought those dayz were over?! A lotta your rhymes are so random; it’s almost like there’s no stories or nothin’! Only a 1.3-rated CD, so far!

09. “Shawty”
>>> Do I really need ta hear Plies & T-Pain?! My Rating: 1.0

10. “I Need That”
>>> Only 28 seconds long; nothin’ outta this!! My Rating: 1.0

11. “Every Diss”
>>> Tha beat reminds me of tha undaground MySpace dayz or somethin’… Still, betcha it’s a jacked beat! I have no interest in this; who cares about carin’ about “Boosie or Webbie!” My Rating: 1.2

12. “Counting Money”
>>> Nothin’ but randomness, here… My Rating: 1.1

13. “Thug”
>>> Kevin Gates “‘Posed To Be In Love”; let’s see when I’ll skip this… We don’t need a remake! I’m just skippin’ ‘cause I want to! My Rating: 1.0

14. “Pound Cake”
>>> Boring Drake & Jay-Z song… No more random rhymes fa me!! My Rating: 1.0

15. “I Mean It”
>>> A long beginning; a betta beat, but I can’t get inta this… My Rating: 1.3

16. “Heaven Or Hell”
>>> Here we go with tha “Heaven Or Hell” beat… A lil’ more effort, but it’s whateva… My Rating: 1.0

Overall: Well, after all my winnin’, I lost with this review! Wasn’t inta tha jacked beats, tha auto-tune, tha old-ass jacked beats & tha random rappin’! It’s almost like what’s wrong with rap today, plus jacked beats! With that bein’ said, you’re lucky I don’t have an anxiety attack for work in tha morning, right now ‘cause if that was tha case, I would’ve needed a betta review! But, we got this, and I believe it’s my lowest-rated CD of all-time!!

Review #1,504: Rowdy Rebel "Shmoney Keeps Calling"

Reviewed on 6.30.2016 (Review #1,504)

Got anotha review comin’, right na: Rowdy Rebel Shmoney Keeps Calling, off dat GS9 Entertainment! That’s right! Not a southern release but somebody I fucks wit tough! Hope tha GS9 click gets fully restored and err-body gets outta jail soon! I really dug tha whole Shmurda/GS9 movement and they really held down tha 2nd ½ of 2014! I wanna shee what Rowdy Shrebel workin’ with, chea, lol… Start Time: 4:32 PM | End Time: 5:28 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! 01. “Fetty’s Song (It Was All A Dream)”
Not sure what to expect, especially with “Fetty” in tha title… >>> Sounds like ‘80s pop in tha beginning; not sure what ta expect… I kinda am likin’ this different, laidback vibe… Of course, I’ve always loved your voice and delivery; nice rhymes… My Rating: 3.8

02. “Touchdown Plaxico” feat. A$AP Ferg
Lookin’ forward ta this one! >>> Sounds like an anticipatin’ intro/beat! You always know how ta handle these tracks; gotta love it!! Definitely feelin’ how you on tha grind with tha hook, here; “touchdown,” fasho!! Gotta love how you start tha 1st verse with bein’ “in Cali, smokin’ Cali;” yeah!! Hope we meet up & we do some business in tha future! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice from Ferg, here; energetic collab fa tha East Coast!! My Rating: 4.2

03. “Gang” feat. Lil’ Durk
>>> Really loud surround ta start this off; let’s see, here… Again, I’m feelin’ how you comin’ through on tha hook; sounds like a lotta energy! Surprisingly, I’m feelin’ how Durk comin’ through on tha hook with repeatin’ tha title; good shit! Here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit dat good shit, as always! Durk on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit nice shit, too; good collab! Surprisingly, I like tha previous two songs betta, but this still quality! My Rating: 3.7

04. “Young Rich Niggas” feat. Rich The Kid
>>> Really feelin’ tha beat, here, as it reminds me of “Hot Nigga” and those classic Rebel tracks! Definitely anticipatin’, here; gotta luv this, so far! You doin’ ya thang on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit dat shmoney music! Definitely vibin’ off this; really luvin’ tha energy, as always! Tha hook sounds nice; gotta love it! Just a great vibe at all times, here!! Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ nice, too! Iz that Rich The Kid at 1:39? Sounds like him, randomly, lol… Randomly dabbin’, lol? Nice collab, even though not credited on where I downloaded it from (but, it’s credited on tha back cover); caught me off guard! My Rating: 4.5

05. “Shmoney Speaking”
! >>> Quality trap music at its finest, here, fa tha beat and how you comin’ through wit all this energy!! Can really feel it in tha beat, here!! Tha 1st verse’s pretty consistent, here; just luvin’ all tha energy! Tha hook’s fulla even more energy, here; can’t deny it!! Only real niggaz gon feel this shit; this shit’s official! You gotta be inta rap that doesn’t sell out ta fuck wit this shit! Tha 2nd verse’s on point, too! My Rating: 4.3

06. “In The Bedroom” feat. TeeFlii & Abilly
>>> Thought this was gon be a lil’ laidback, but it’s soundin’ like it gon still bring energy to tha table… Let’s see if I can handle tha features, though… Okay, so far, tha beginning doesn’t sound bad, at all; nice… Nice job with tha hook, here, from TeeFlii… Here you are on tha 1st verse; not bad… Kinda sounds like your voice’s lost, though, if you know what I mean (voice effects)… Tha 2nd verse’s voice’s whateva; can’t really get serious about this… It ain’t awful, it aight; at least that beat keeps you alert, lol. My Rating: 3.6

07. “Birken” feat. Corey Finesse
>>> Definitely feelin’ tha start, here; “rowdy” at its finest, ya dig? Gotta luv ya voice and you doin’ tha damn thang on tha 1st verse, here! Gotta keep it street to tha fullest; NY in tha buildin’, of course! I’ono why, but I keep thinkin’ tha title’s a spin-off of tha word, “Broken,” kinda like, “Money” vs. “Shmoney,” lol. Nice job wit tha hook, here; can’t complain… Now, we got a Corey dude on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit some nice shit! Definitely diggin’ what he bringin’ to tha table fa you, here; almost sounds like Rich The Kid, a lil’… Gotta luv how you point out how dude “took a shit,” Rebel, lol! Fuckin’ love ya!! My Rating: 4.1

08. “Applying Pressure” feat. OP
>>> I’m diggin’ this trap-rap sound; nice beat and how you comin’ through on tha 1st verse! Tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse belongs ta OP and it sounds nice; good shit! My Rating: 3.7

09. “Beam Jawn”
>>> This sounds great, too, just how we left off from tha previous joint! Nice shit on tha 1st verse, Rowdy, as well as tha beat! Tha hook’s catchy as fuck!! Gotta luv tha G-shit you bringin’ to tha table!! Definitely one of my favorite hooks on this tape, so far!! And, a 2nd verse, here; really rowdy, lol!! Gotta luv this shit to tha fullest!! My Rating: 4.6

½time: Didn’t really point it out, but I ain’t really feelin’ those tags in tha beginning of each track (“*Laughs* Girl, he got shmoney!”); I’m not a tag person… But, this tape’s definitely fire!! Gotta luv all tha rowdy & energetic shit you bringin’ to tha table at all times!! No disappointin’ shit, here!! A 4.1-rated CD, so far; keep it up!!

10. “Lifestyle” feat. RockyRich
>>> More of an East Coast-soundin’ beat, here; nice rhymes, over a “Hot Nigga”-soundin’ beat… Likin’ tha beat sound around :35, too; warped at its finest! Tha hook from Rich sounds nice, here; luvin’ tha warped-soundin’ beat sounds in tha background! Here’s Rich on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit some decent shit… My Rating: 3.7

11. “This Or That”
>>> Diggin’ these less-than-three-minutes jointz; no filler, here! Feelin’ tha consistency you bringin’ to tha table on tha 1st verse, here! Definitely diggin’ this old school-soundin’ beat, too! Nice lil’ hook, too, whether it’s Black Sheep-soundin’ or not! My Rating: 4.0

12. “Right Now” feat. Bobby Shmurda & French Montana
>>> Sounds very energetic fa an undaground rap track, here! Nice hook from French; dope shit!! Hearin’ Bobby on tha 1st verse and he doin’ tha damn thang; definitely feelin’ y’all vibez!! Got French on tha 2nd verse, kinda blendin’ in wit tha hook… A lil’ repetitive, but it still goes off! Here you are on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit some jammin’ shit; not bad… Seems like I like Bobby’s shit tha best, outta this whole track… My Rating: 4.1

13. “Smith & Wesson” feat. Kent Jones
>>> Tha hook sounds nice wit Kent doin’ tha damn thang with tha catchy vocals… Tha beat kinda plain, but it’s good ta hear you clearly, here, Shrebel, lol. Sounds like a catchy-soundin’ 1st verse… I’ono, but tha sound in tha beat reminds me of some shit ta get high to… Hearin’ Kent on tha 2nd verse and it sounds like an attempt of soundin’ like tha ’07 Wayne or somethin’… Still, not bad, overall; decent collab… My Rating: 3.8

14. “I Just Wanna Ball” feat. 2 Milly
Keepin’ tha features goin’ throughout this whole entire CD! >>> Beat straight; tha hook sounds good from you… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and you shinin’, here; not bad… Nice street shit from Milly on tha 2nd verse, but I think he gon only be remembered for “Milly Rock”. My Rating: 3.7

15. “All About Her Shmoney” feat. Bobby Shmurda & Too $hort
Forgot to mention: I now write “smoke” as “shmoke” ‘cause of you guys; you know that? Power!! >>> Definitely anticipatin’ tha beginning; sounds like it gon be jammin’! Luvin’ tha hook, here; “all about her shmoney!!” Tha 1st verse from you sounds nice, here; definitely some jammin’ shit!! Here’s Shmurda on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit dat good “weed shmoke;” you know!! Too $hort on tha 3rd verse? Not credited? Just a sample? Just gonna put him at tha end of tha feature, here… Decent, though random? My Rating: 4.3

16. “We Winnin’” feat. Starlow
>>> Beat sounds nice fa a trap-rap track, but that hook’s definitely “winnin’!” Luv tha GS9-soundin’ delivery on tha hook!! Starlow got this shit on lock! Here he iz on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some nice shit ova this beat… Here you are on tha 2nd verse, deliverin’ dat hot shit ova this beat!! Shit yeah, gotta luv this!! My Rating: 4.3

17. “Kevin Durant”
>>> Wow, tha volume went down, here… Tha beat sounds nice, includin’ tha catchy hook you deliverin’; diggin’ it! Tha 1st verse’s soundin’ good; sounds like random rhymes, here… Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ nice and random, too… My Rating: 3.9

18. “24 Hours (Remix)” feat. Bobby Shmurda, TeeFlii & Ty Dolla $ign
Must be a remix? >>> Yeah, it iz… Even though I ain’t neva played it, it’s still that great music—tha last full year of music (2014) that my brother was still alive… It’s okay, like tha original; you & Shmurda sound nice fa an appearance… My Rating: 3.7

Overall: I fuck wit this shit tough! Dope shit, Rowdy!! You kept it consistent to tha max, here! No fillers, just quality, trap-rap, East Coast rap!! Keep up tha great work; neva stop this rap shit!!

Review #1,503: Supa Macked Out "Supa Hits Vol. 2 (Hosted by DJ Tremon)"

Reviewed on 6.29.2016 (Review #1,503)

It’s about time I take a second ta think, after all tha bullshit goin’ on at my job!! Gonna do a review, right quick: Macked Out Music’s Supa Macked Out Supa Hits Vol. 2 (Hosted by DJ Tremon); let’s get it! Start Time: 7:18 PM | End Time: 8:00 PM

01. “Intro”
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!! Exactly what I’m talkin’ ‘bout!!! Tha length, 3:07, iz tha person that’s driving me INSANE at my job’s birthday length!!! What a way ta start!! I honestly don’t know who can stay sober when dealin’ with that fuckin’ bitch!! She so jealous of me ‘cause I get ta have overtime & I don’t get tired, like Kevin Gates! She just down-right ugly, insecure, a bitch, jealous, mean & always uses her past to make people feel sorry for her! Well, I got it out tha mud with my autism; I live fa now!! >>> Beat sounds pretty nice and tha verse’s soundin’ so-so; I’m diggin’ it… “Down Bad, my younger dayz;” I still feel like it’s those dayz, sometimes. Like, I feel it in tha age, but I feel wiser… “My first blunt was do-do;” nice! Shout out ta my boy, Doe-Doe; Baton Rouge got tons of classic rappers!! My Rating: 3.9

02. “Do My Thang” feat. Piz Corleone
>>> Hearin’ tha Dosha Burna Beatz beat (Piz Corleone) & it reminds me of when I was more serious about Louisiana and all that! I need that feelin’ back and this iz a perfect example of it! Feels like I’ve been away from work fa a while, even though I work six dayz a week! Hook’s definitely catchy as hell; nice job, Supa! Tha 1st verse ain’t too bad, here; gotta represent… Featured dude on tha 2nd verse? Iz dat Piz, himself? Sounds like it… Hmm, should I give credit on tha feature? I’ll take a chance… He sounds—aight, he said, “Corleone;” got it! Anyway, he sounds catchy on tha verse; definitely a nice collab! I’ll just call him “Piz Corleone” as a feature but “Dosha Burna Beatz” as a producer… My Rating: 4.3

03. “Big Dog” feat. Lee Banks
>>> Anotha nice beat, here; sounds more like a street anthem, based off tha sounds… You still sound catchy on tha hook; gotta luv your anthems! Yeah, definitely one of tha “big dog” rappers, fa’real! At tha moment, it’s a rumor, but, who knows, I may have some classic mixtape compilations comin’ out! It’ll be dedicated ta ‘80s babies, if it’s true! A few separate mixtape compilations: ’80/’81 babies, ’82/’83/’84 babies, ’85/’86/’87 babies & ’88/’89 babies; will it happen? We’ll see… But, nice job on tha 1st verse! Sounds like Lee goin’ hard, consistently, on tha 2nd verse; sounds great ta hear! Short verse, but tha appearance iz what’s up! My Rating: 4.3

04. “Roll Out” feat. Foxx
Happy Birthday ta Foxx, earlier, on Sunday, tha 26th! I’ll be in my 30’s in two years; we’re gettin’ up there!! >>> Already, anotha hot-soundin’ beat; let’s get it!! Got anotha Piz Corleone production goin’ on, here! You on tha 1st verse and it sounds like that classic pill-poppin’ music; gotta have it in ya life!! Tha hook’s real catchy with tha title repeatin’; gotta luv it!! Keepin’ it goin’, doin’ tha damn thang, as always…! Here’s Foxx, comin’ through wit good club shit, but I’ll give you more props fa soundin’ betta on this! Nice beat ending, here! My Rating: 4.2

05. “Don’t Get Enough”
>>> Beat sounds like your typical trap-rap music, but tha hook’s catchy… It’s all about dat good shit dat gets you high!! Tha 1st verse sounds nice, here… You still usin’ your old song quotes, here, with “So Whopped” & “Out Da Box”, lol. “I still drank and I still shmoke;” neva get too old fa it!! Nice job holdin’ tha 2nd verse down, here… And, a 3rd verse, here, comin’ through nicely… My Rating: 4.1

06. “To The Top” feat. OG
>>> Seems like Dosha Burna producin’ all these tracks? This one kinda sounds typical with tha trap-rap soundin’ and tha hook just about decent with this less-known dude on tha feature… Here you come on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some old, Flippa Boyz-type shit wit tha “I show my ass off” quote… I’ono, even your voice has a stupid, borderline-auto-tune sound to it; can’t say I’m feelin’ it that much… Tha 2nd verse from you kinda random with these rhymes… To me, all this “bitches” shit and how you sound about wantin’ a “milly” sounds like everyone else in tha mainstream… I’ono about that random ending from tha featured dude? Random… My Rating: 3.2

07. “She Gon Go”
>>> Almost thought it really was 50 Cent in tha beginning with tha, “Go shorty, it’s ya birthday,” shit in tha beginning… However, with tha hook, it definitely sounds catchy with this beat; classic-soundin’ Baton Rouge shit! I hope I live fa’eva so I can always hear a Louisiana song, lol! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and this sounds much catchier than tha previous song wit how you comin’ through wit tha club-type lyrics… LOL, sometimes, I think tha hook sayin’, “She on go,” but it’s, “She gon go,” lol… I honestly should start reviewin’ all these CDs while high, but I don’t like sittin’ and bein’ on tha computer while high, most of tha time… Tha 2nd verse sounds catchy as fuck, too! Oh, just like my boy, Doe-Doe, I just luv how you continuously say, “I get doe, doe, doe,” lol! Tha Doe-Doeness!! My Rating: 4.5

½time: Fa tha most part, I’m feelin’ this shit! You always have tha catchy tunes on lock, includin’ tha great, Baton Rouge-soundin’ production at all times!! Got a 4.1-rated CD on ya hands, so far; keep it up!

08. “Do It Again”
>>> “Stressed out;” who would’ve thought that’d be me? Just ‘cause DJ B-Real blocked me two years ago, I got a job & now, it’s so stressful every fuckin’ day!! Makin’ money can be so annoying, but it’s still money! Then again, I’d rather do this music shit behind tha scenes! Beat sounds laidback, here; rhymes ain’t too bad on tha 1st verse… Kinda not feelin’ tha auto-tuned voice on tha hook, but I think after a lil’ bit, I think I might accept it… Kinda likin’ how you singin’ tha title… I think this’ll be one of those tunes that’ll sound betta while you’re high… Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad, here; an okay track, overall… A long ending, here… And, anotha hook… My Rating: 3.8

09. “Bullshit”
>>> Sounds like an uncredited feature on tha hook, here; they sound aight. Tha hook sounds pretty catchy, to say tha least, with this beat… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and I’ono, I’ont fuck wit tha fatherhood shit, at tha moment & I’ve seen what it’s done ta artists. Then again, not bad fa tha short verse… Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad, here; a decent track… My Rating: 3.5

10. “Everyday” feat. OG
>>> Oh, Tremon, I can give you a list of those that “owe me money;” they so pussy! Then, they flashin’ a $1 bill in pics & shit, like, they broke!! With that bein’ said, I don’t really like tha content about makin’ “money everyday,” on tha hook, but tha beat’s pretty nice… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it must be this OG dude; not bad… LOL @ tha line, “Got my condoms & my guns up; that’s some good protection;” nice! Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse and it’s aight… Kinda a guilty pleasure ta like this “money” music, but I’ll be nice with tha rating, this time… My Rating: 3.7

11. “Broke Boy” feat. Lil’ Mike & Memphis Chill
>>> This kinda like tha last track, but this sounds pretty catchy; luv how you deliver tha hook/title ova this beat! Hearin’ Mike on tha 1st verse and, just like tha previous track, I’m not diggin’ this “money” content at all… Here you are on tha 2nd verse and it sounds like Boyz N Da Hood “Dem Boyz”, from 2005, with how you startin’ tha verse off… Still, it’s yada-yada with all these prices and thangz… Memphis Chill on tha 3rd verse… More “money” shit, here? Nothin’ special fa me… Sad ta like tha previous song betta than this ‘cause tha hook was pretty catchy fa me… My Rating: 3.0

12. “Droptop”
>>> Beat sounds catchy, as well as this hook… Tha 1st verse ain’t too bad with you on this; sounds jammin’, a lil’… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse from you and it’s decent, too; a decent track, overall… I ain’t got much ta say about this one; it’s okay, overall… My Rating: 3.4

Overall: Kinda became decent toward tha 2nd ½, but it still was nice ta review some newer music from you! Keep up tha grind, neva age & keep that Baton Rouge sound comin’!!

Review #1,501: Ganksta Mac "Fleetwood Mac (The Mixtape)"

Reviewed on 6.08.2016 (Review #1,501)

Illegal Currency Entertainment Presents Ganksta Mac Fleetwood Mac (The Mixtape), named after tha old band. My 1,501st review, here, I got this sent to me via Facebook before last year ended. However, I had no time to get to it till now, so here it goes! Start Time: 7:18 PM | End Time: 8:01 PM

Link To CD: N/A

01. Fleetwood Intro
>>> Production sounds nice… Sounds more like it could be an album, rather than a “mixtape.” Do I get a shout out? I’m not really in a review mood, so I feel annoyed, a lil’… Ahh, tha “diamond in tha back, sunroof top…” singin’!! My Rating: N/A

02. “Swang Wide” feat. Frank Nitty & Lavish
>>> Was wondering what was up wit tha first 10 seconds… Now, here’s tha 1st verse and it sounds catchy with these vocals… I’ono about tha beat, though, since it kinda sounds like “Hot Nigga”, a lil’. Kinda random with how this 1st verse sounds, but it ain’t bad ta hear… Hook’s pretty plain with this repetitive hook; kinda disappointed… Like, seein’ this title, I instantly think of a southern vibe, not a NY, “Hot Nigga” vibe… Here we go with tha 2nd verse from Frank Nitty, here, comin’ through wit random rhymes…; okay, what’s next…? Lavish on tha 3rd verse, here, and it’s whateva; forget tha rest of this… Tha start of tha last hook at 3:42 sounded off-beat fa a second! My Rating: 2.6

03. “Werk Werk (Twerk Twerk)” feat. Big Curb
>>> Not bad with tha energetic production and tha 1st verse’s okay, so far… Tha hook’s catchy; at least it goes with tha beat, this time… Tha 2nd verse sounds like a random dude spittin’ random shit; bleh… Tha 3rd verse sounds like some good Louisiana rhymes with tha “stupid/retarded,” but I’ont think it goes with this beat… My Rating: 3.0

04. “Hold Dat Noiz”
>>> Where’s my manager? Lemme quote her: “Really?” Like, tha Young Ready track? That’s what it sounds like, to me, with tha beat… Tha hook’s boring fa me with tha repetitiveness… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and I’m not really feelin’ it too much; it’s just okay fa me, since tha beat throws me off… I mean, it may be an original beat but at tha same time, it sounds too similar to tha Young Ready one, especially with tha title… Tha 2nd verse sounds a lil’ more energetic, but it sounds like you’re soundin’ a lil’ lazy with tha delivery, at times… My Rating: 2.5

05. “Clean Up Man (Free B.G.)”
>>> Beat ain’t too bad; tha hook ain’t too bad, either, even though I don’t see much interest in this… Nothin’ much ta say about tha 1st verse, here… Hearin’ tha hook again and this sounds like some random New Orleans “real rap” or somethin’ that I’m not that big about… And, nothin’ ta say about tha 2nd verse; I think I had enough of this track, lol… Just sick of hearin’ that title!! No 3rd verse? A long outro…? Also, smh @ tha producer’s tag appearin’ again! My Rating: 1.7

06. “Let ‘Em Hate” feat. Mac Cezer & King Ryce
>>> Likin’ this beat, as it sounds like somethin’ nice fa tha streetz… Hearin’ tha hook and even though it’s kinda repetitive, it ain’t too bad… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds like this dude (Mac Cezer?) tryna rap at a rapid pace; it aight, tho… Unfortunately, with tha way this CD’s been goin’, my excitement’s really dry… Time for tha 2nd verse…; sounds good. As far as King Ryce on tha 3rd verse, I’ono what it was with him, at one point (I forget), but even though this nice, it’s gonna go out tha otha ear when this track’s over… Still, not bad… My Rating: 3.8

½time: Wow, not off to a good start at all! A 3.8 iz tha highest rated, followed by a 3.0? Just not really feelin’ how tha tracks sound; not really my Louisiana sound… Either way, keep grindin’! Only a 2.7-rated CD, so far…

07. Pimp C (The Industry) (Skit)
>>> True; “tha songs aren’t dat good; tha album ain’t dat good.” Unfortunately, I can agree wit him wit this CD, so far. But yeah, if you love an artist, you gon support them! For example: I fucks wit my boy, Doe-Doe, from Baton Rouge, right now! Even though he ain’t been in tha music biz in a minute, I have faith in him to put somethin’ new out! His undeniable talent makes me wanna get him richer and try and put success in his pocket! When I blow up, he comin’ wit me!! My Rating: N/A

08. “20 Thousand Dollaz” feat. Hurk & Big Curb
>>> Beat sounds nice and so does tha hook… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s pretty nice; feelin’ tha energy… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and I wanna just skip it, or pretend I’m listenin’ ‘cause all it’s sayin’ iz “money, tha money,” yada-yada-yada… Could care less about tha 3rd verse, here, with tha “money” bullshit, too… I’ono, tha 1st verse sounded nice fa a topic about “money,” but tha rest of this can go… My Rating: 2.4

09. Don Juan Cadillak Pimpin’ (Interlude)
>>> Nice message about tha “pimp game,” lol. My Rating: N/A

10. “Fleetwood Muzik”
>>> So far, this off to a better start… Feelin’ tha slow, laidback vibe that was meant for that “Swang” song… Nice job with tha beginning; let’s see how tha rest of this goes… Tha 1st verse sounded nice and so did tha hook; nice production… Tha 2nd verse kinda bores me with this slow vibe, here… My Rating: 3.7

11. “Smoke Somethin’, Drank Somethin’” feat. ELocc & OLEBAY
>>> Beat and vibe sounds nice, but tha 1st verse all random wit tha rhymes… Remakin’ old music on tha hook’s vocals, here…; sounds good ta hear… Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad, here… And, a long, 48-second outro, here… My Rating: 3.4

12. Zydeco History (Interlude)
Buck Wheat, here… >>> Nice lil’ check in… My Rating: N/A

13. “Zydeco Wit Me” feat. Altonio OSR TRX
>>> Sounds much louder than tha previous tracks? Like, tha others’ volumes weren’t brought up? Really different with tha instruments, here; sounds happy and kinda interesting… Tha hook ain’t too bad; at least it’s happy, I guess? Tha 1st verse kinda random-soundin’, but it ain’t bad… Hearin’ tha hook again and it kinda sounds like it’s tryna be tha sequel (or jack?) tha “Cupid Shuffle”… Tha rest of this just keeps tha vibe goin’… My Rating: 2.9

Overall: Just below-average fa me, here… Could’ve been better as far as how tha songs sounded… Thought it would’ve been a lil’ more underground sounding, at times, but yeah, you see what I said for each one… Still, keep tha discs comin’!

Rankings:

09.       “Clean Up Man (Free B.G.)” 1.7
08.       “20 Thousand Dollaz” feat. Hurk & Big Curb 2.4
07.       “Hold Dat Noiz” 2.5
06.       “Swang Wide” feat. Frank Nitty & Lavish 2.6

Review #1,500: C-Coop "Lost Coopology Files"

Reviewed on 6.07.2016 (Review #1,500)

A lot goin’ through my mind, throughout tha week, as I continuously work… Been on tha six-dayz-a-week stretch since January 2, and have no idea when I’m gettin’ off of it… Great money while it’s there, but this iz rough, continuously workin’ all these dayz… Still, at this moment, I celebrate 10 years of graduating high school today & my 1,500th CD review with this comeback: C-Coop, who’s responsible for 3rd Court Records! Back around ’09, Coop was arrested and did seven years in jail! Now, he’s back and just released this not too long ago! He hit me back when he got out, but with all that workin’ and short-handedness, I couldn’t get to it right away… Now, droppin’ his Lost Coopology Files mixtape, Coop’s releasin’ some of that older music from before jail and a lil’ bit after jail! Tampa, FL in tha buildin’ wit this one; only 500 reviewz till 2,000, lol! Start Time: 8:35 PM | End Time: 9:55 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! 01. “Forgot About C-Coop”
I neva did; always remembered tha August 3 birthday, too! A lil’ after this coming birthday of yours’ll mark nine years that I first found you off of MySpace, all ‘cause some1 who had dreads on their head at my 1st college didn’t wanna be cool wit me. So, I needed to find some1 wit dreads that was gon be cool wit me, at that time; glad it worked out! >>> Sounds good for an intro beat and a 1st verse. LOL, tha 2nd verse started wit your birthday, as I mentioned in tha preview, lol! Did I call it, lol? Likin’ all tha “bruh” parts; reminds me of “Certified Goon” wit all tha “bruh/dawg” parts, lol! Nice, classic Coop-styled rappin’, here… LOL, tha 3rd verse sounds nice ta hear with tha “toilet” and “down my shit”-type shit; flush it goes, lol! “Light a blunt;” I did that wit my crew almost two hours ago! You know! Still, stupid hangout! For 1 ½ hours, I heard two couples argue non-stop, did nothin’ & then, when a few of ‘em came back, I asked, “We rollin’ up?” They were like, “You got tha money?” I’m like, “WTF?” Like, c’mon! I just sat for ½ hours, dealt with two couples arguing and y’all wanted me to pay? Like, y’all invited me ova! Oh, when them havin’ no job comes to kick they ass!! My Rating: 3.9

02. “WarZone”
>>> This sounds like a nice beat ta rap off of… Can’t believe you’re back! It feels like I’m in ’07 / ’08 again, even though it’s ’16 & I graduated high school 10 years ago today! Hearin’ tha hook and it’s pretty catchy on this shit… Tha 1st verse sounds nice ta vibe ta; glad ta hear ya again! Oh yeah, luv how this CD’s length’s 1:20:01! Not only iz it my boy, Doe-Doe’s birthday (1:20), but there’s one too many seconds for a CD’s length, lol? Tha 2nd verse sounds good ta hear, too; you got this on lock fa tha Florida undaground! My Rating: 4.0

03. “Point ‘Em Out”
Eastwick Da Problem on tha original production, here. I remembered when you released your “first copywritten song” back on October 20, 2007: “Certified Goon”; from there, it was on! I was like, “Oh, man, Coop makin’ moves!!” >>> Nice and slow; glad you still got your G-shit on lock! Nice job on tha undaground hook! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s laidback rappin’ wit gangsta shit written all ova it; nice mix! Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad; all tha different places gets me anticipated ta visit tha south, again! I’m not tryna feel bored or anything, but it makes me feel like this joint’s takin’ fa’eva ta progress… Okay, “Fresh off a blunt;” maybe, that’s why I’m feelin’ like this goin’ slow, lol? Highs slow time, lol! My Rating: 3.7

04. “Fuck Tha Police”
>>> Thought I recognized this Boosie shit goin’ on in tha hook… Aight, lemme just get to you on tha 1st verse… Sounds nice ta hear; I’m feelin’ 50/50 about tha hook, though. Like, at times, I feel like keepin’ tha Boosie part sounds nice, while I think that y’all could’ve came up wit y’all own hook… Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad…, as you’re lettin’ out all tha bullshit that invades a po-po-invaded life… My Rating: 3.1

05. “Ain’t I (Freestyle)” feat. Loose Cannon
I recognize tha title from tha dayz of when you just got locked up… Wow, I was 20 back then, and am turnin’ 28 in only 15 dayz!! >>> Yeah, this sounds betta witchu makin’ your own hook vs. usin’ tha original one, like tha Boosie-sampled song. Also, nice collab; reminds me of hangin’ with black people, in a great way. Overall, nice collab ova this beat from tha dayz of ’08 / ’09… My Rating: 3.7

06. “Bizzy Body” feat. Etha
Keepin’ tha ’09 freestyles & beats comin’ along, here… >>> Anotha nice-soundin’ hook from tha ’09 beats; nice… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds like, yeah, I get it; that was tha timez (“turn my swag on like Soulja Boy”). Tha 2nd verse from Etha sounds nice, but great for an unknown, undaground dude. Like, that’s tha kinda shit I wanna hear from a random dude you come across, and I thought it flowed nicely. My Rating: 3.8

07. “Paid” feat. Swidda G
Recognize tha throwback feature… *Checks my iTunes library* And, I recognize tha track… Here’s what I had to say eight years ago:

“What’s tha guy in tha beginning (sounded like he said “it’s tha cool” or somethin’ like that)? That was tha same guy in tha beginning of “Fuck What Ya Heard”. Anyway, it’s a nice beat wit a nice hook that just came in outta nowhere. I’m glad “you’re makin’ so much money” and that you’d “slap a ma’fucka wit it.” Nice 1st verse and great hook again. Now of course, Swidda G has that fiya on this joint. He EASILY took ova this joint; what a REAL TIGHT VERSE THAT WENT HARD!!! You had a great 3rd verse by tha way, Coop. Easily, this went to Swidda G for tha best verse! I heard tha guy at tha end again; iz he sayin’ “Mr. Coop”?”

To add to this: Yeah, those were completely different dayz with how I’d quote a “money” line and shit. You know that’s my biggest pet peeve in tha music business, now! November 17, 2011: Robbed (feelin’ like raped); after that, no more “money” rhymes fa me!! Rehearin’ and it sounds a lil’ betta than average, but tha rating gon go down from tha 4.4… My Current Rating: 4.0

08. “On Tha Scene”
>>> Diggin’ all tha “fresh” shit on tha hook; “swag” shit’s only decent fa me, here, even though it’s usually below average. Bleh…, tha verses a lil’ boring fa me, but your flow saves it, sometimes… My Rating: 2.9

09. “Day By Day” feat. B.B. & Lil’ Nasty
Let’s see… >>> Different, calmer vibe with this hungry-soundin’ singin’ on tha hook; not bad… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it ain’t bad; nothin’ special fa me… Hearin’ you rap on tha 2nd verse and it’s ehh…; not too inta this joint… My Rating: 2.6

10. “Dick Pleaser (Freestyle)” feat. Loose Cannon
>>> Nothin’ much goin’ on here fa me… That Loose Cannon dude sound cocky on this, tha cocky shit that I don’t fuck wit. Either way, it iz what it iz… My Rating: 2.5

11. “Swag”
Eastwick Da Problem on tha beat; a 2009 track that I got on April 6, 2009. Totally forgot how it sounded; lemme give it its official review in 2016! >>> This sounds much betta than tha previous song about “swag.” At this time, it was 2009 and tha way shit sounded sounded betta. Like, today, it would have tha same kinda beat err-body would have, with that Future/trap sound. I know in ’09, I said shit like, “Err-body auto-tune and swag.” Well, surprisingly, this sound gets more of a plus… I’ono, just diggin’ tha way this sounds wit tha beat… Not that crazy about your lyrics, here, but tha way you and tha beat sounds gets me goin’… My Current Rating: 3.6

½time: Off to a decent start but it’s gettin’ sour… Beats aren’t really tha greatest ta rap off of, at times, but sometimes, tha lyrics and featured artists’ flows be waterin’ these jointz down… Either way, Coop, you always got your flow goin’! A 3.5-rated CD, so far; let’s keep it goin’…

12. “Diggin’ Me” feat. Mz. E-Baby
>>> Anotha song about “swag.” Ehh, tha hook’s whateva, even though this throwback sound of tha Vybe beat’s gettin’ me in a better mood… Mz. E-Baby ain’t too bad with tha 1st verse, but I mainly like her voice… You were not bad on this; just below average fa me, here… My Rating: 2.8

13. “SomeMore” feat. DJ
>>> Almost thought a skit was goin’ on in tha intro, here… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it ain’t bad; nothin’ really sparkin’ fa me, here, though… Hearin’ DJ on tha 2nd verse and, ehh, a lotta “dick” rhymes, here, but nothin’ really special outta this verse, either. Sounds more like “yada-yada-ya-ya-yada…” ta me… You on tha 3rd verse and it’s kinda yada-yadaish… My Rating: 2.4

14. “Set It Off” feat. Squad Up Click
>>> Anotha song that’s only okay fa me. Tha featured artist sounds like white rappers? Like, One-i from Louisiana? Hammond, LA; that’s what it reminds me of… Nice ’07 – ’09-type vibe in tha voice, but not feelin’ it fa a collaboration… Ugh, tha 3rd verse continues wit more of tha featured artist(s)!! My Rating: 1.3

15. “Real Life Shit” feat. Loose Cannon
>>> This sounds a lil’ betta wit Loose Cannon doin’ tha hook and 1st verse; not bad fa an old school-soundin’ rap beat… Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse and it’s decent; feelin’ you betta than your features… My Rating: 3.5

16. “Thru Ya Front Door”
Lil’ Dank doin’ production, here… >>> Tha transition from tha previous joint ta this sounded nice… Hearin’ tha hook from you and I’m diggin’ tha G-shit… Hearin’ tha original beat and yeah, even got a lil’ bit of a G-Funk sound to it; nice! You did ya thang wit this one; not too bad… My Rating: 3.8

17. “I’m Strap’d” feat. Swidda G
>>> Collab sounds nice, as y’all goin’ back and forth. Beat ain’t really have anythang poppin’ off… Tha vibe kinda cool and kinda decent, at tha same time… Hearin’ your verse and it’s decent. I’ono, I’m not tryna sound bored or anything, but a lot’s just decent fa me, here… My Rating: 3.4

18. “Ride Fo Me” feat. B.B.
>>> More of an effort, here, even though it’s only okay fa me… Likin’ how tha singin’ on tha hook reminds me of music from tha early 2000’s or somethin’… Here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit regular-soundin’ rhymes… And, tha 2nd verse’s flow’s nice, but I can’t really fuck wit this sound… My Rating: 2.3

19. “My Life”
>>> Ain’t realize tha title, but now that I’m hearin’ tha beat/hook, like, ugh, I’m gonna be put ta sleep!! I ain’t writin’ anything… Aight, here: “regular rappin’!” My Rating: 1.0 (pretty much a skipped rating)

20. “It’s My Time”
A bonus track produced by Eastwick Da Problem, here… >>> Lyrics and this beat, despite it bein’ an original, sounds plain for me… I still enjoy hearin’ you and your voice, though. Hearin’ tha 1st verse and even though tha pace of tha flow’s boring, this shit sounds better than some of tha shit on here… My Rating: 3.0

21. “No Warnin’”
Stay tuned fa Coopology 1: My Theory, accordin’ ta tha ID, here! >>> Havin’ a lil’ more hope fa tha newer track, here… Your voice sounds a lil’ less pitched? A tiny bit… Still, you have a nice flow, still… This beat sounds kinda quiet, at times, but still sounds nice… Without “warnin’,” there’s “no” hook… Likin’ tha “Lions, tigers, and bears…” kinda remake flow, as you mentioned, “Goons, thugs, hustlaz…” My Rating: 3.7

22. “No Problem” feat. Maro Deezy & Papi
Anotha new one from tha upcomin’ Coopology 1: My Theory! >>> Kinda random soundin’ on tha beginning, here, even though I expect betta from today’s undaground… Hearin’ your part and, lol, it went from “MySpace” ta “Snapchat.” Ehh, can’t really get inta this… My Rating: 2.7

Overall: I’ono what happened with tha mood, but most of tha 2nd ½ was boring/below average fa me. I think, as far as what you should work on, iz gettin’ better features. Also, your flow’s still nice ta hear. I think you gotta keep tha more underground/original-produced songs comin’, instead of rappin’ off other peoples’ beats… I know you got newer shit comin’ up, so I’ll be tunin’ inta that… Fa now, here’s what went down:
