Review #1,432: KarlWayne "2 Years Later"

Reviewed on 1.31.2015 (Review #1,432)

Got one more review b4 this month ends… I have to say, with tha reviewz I’ve been doin’ lately, there hasn’t been that many. Not only do I work a full-time job, but at tha same time, nobody fucks wit me, anymore. I mean, I’m super busy, but for those that say they fuck wit me, and I don’t get their music, it’s like, really? To me, that’s not defining true value of your product and you definitely don’t value me, whatsoever! So, lemme take it to an artist that values me. He sent me his CD on Facebook as soon as it came out, like a real artist from Louisiana should! I first heard him back on April 28, 2009, on fellow Gardererz, Yung Yola & D.$.G.’s 99 Wayz 2 Grind CD, back when he was known as K.O.. He was locked up at tha time and I would communicate with him while he was in jail. I used to manage his MySpace page, back when that was poppin’… Sponsored by Street Certified Muzic, here goes my review for KarlWayne 2 Years Later, and yes, it’s two years after he got outta jail, already! Oh, and, what’s tha “591799” on tha back cover? Start Time: 7:38 PM | End Time: 9:00 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

© 2015 CD Review (Review #1,432) reviewed on 1.31.2015 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. Intro
Let’s see how we gon start this thang off… >>> Straight out tha jail cells… Live broadcast from tha pen? Quiet and anticipating! Tha clashing of tha cell doors remind me of tha Kings Park Psychiatric Center I visit on Long Island, NY, where you mysteriously hear tha doors clash! Yes, it’s haunted by ghosts! I have yet to get audio and witness a scream there, lol! My Rating: N/A

02. “How That Go”
Wonder what this gon be like, produced by Ruffin? >>> Hearin’ tha beginning beat sound and it’s soundin’ like those dayz when I used to always listen to Louisiana rap, lol… Beat’s definitely pure and on a Baton Rouge level; gotta feel it! Also, you’re doin’ a nice job wit tha hook; fuckin’ catchy, especially wit tha title repeatin’! Oh, seems like years ago when I was crazy about Baton Rouge and all dat, lol! Here you are on tha 1st verse and it sounds nice; I like how you say, “KarlWayne,” on tha adlib, twice! Gangsta shit, here; glad you got this quality and you know I had ta take tha time out ta review it, despite workin’ today and tomorrow, 4 – 11 AM! Here’s tha 2nd verse and you still bringin’ dat gangsta shit to tha table; nice! Diggin’ your aggressive attitude, here, as well; keep it goin’! Ooh @ tha beat stoppin’ @ 2:24 and you slaughterin’ tha beat; nice! My Rating: 4.8

03. “Rap Sheet”
Likin’ these titles, already! This one’s produced by TTyme; stylized like dat? Neva heard of ‘em… >>> Oh, so that’s your “DOC number;” I see… Beat sounds pretty nice; anotha pure-soundin’ track, once again! And, tha hook’s pretty nice, as well; thumbs up fa comin’ through wit an analysis of your “rap sheet!” Hearin’ tha 1st verse and I gotta dig how you cuttin’ ‘em, if they cross ya! Hope ya do dat fa me if I need a favor, ya dig? Consistent shit fa Baton Rouge; diggin’ dat sound you bringin’ to tha streetz of Gardere Lane! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, too, strictly slaughterin’ ‘em wit dat gangsta shit, once again! My Rating: 4.5

04. “My Own” feat. Kam
A newbie with them producin’ tha track as well! I’m sure it bangz!! >>> Luv how your intros take a few seconds of quietness and then, they slam wit dat pureness! Hearin’ tha beat intro and it’s nice and quiet, here, wit a spooky, Baton Rouge-soundin’ start! Sounds like it’s tha ‘90s, undaground, Louisiana rap, here, wit this beat intro… Afta :49, we have tha hook: Kam iz a singer, here, and it’s soundin’ nice; I can dig it… Like I said, I feel like it’s tha ‘90s with Skull Duggrey or somethin’, wit how this sounds…! Now, here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some nice rhymes, tryna get outta dat jail cell; I feel ya! Tha 2nd verse sounds good; I’m diggin’ what you’re spittin’, here… Just try not ta get caught up too much in sendin’ R.I.P. shout outs, though; gotta keep it movin’… No 3rd verse, here; just a nice, long outro with Kam randomly singin’ notes and tha beat jammin’ nicely… My Rating: 4.4

05. “I Got It” feat. Menace & Gage
Neva heard of these dudes, luckily… Iz that you on tha production (listed as K.O., your former stage name)? Whateva this iz, I’m definitely anticipatin’ all tha unknown, though 5:30 on tha length? Can you pull through? >>> Definitely likin’ tha beat, here; catchy keys! Nice gangsta shit on tha hook, as you have “this tooley;” nice! Definitely diggin’ tha 2nd ½ of tha hook when you repeat tha title, with this beat pumpin’ in ya veins! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it sounds nice; diggin’ you and your consistent gangsta shit, as always! Hearin’ tha Menace dude on tha 2nd verse and it sounds like dat great shit from Baton Rouge/G-Lane dat I would luv, on a first listen! Nice shit; gotta luv tha hood of BR at all times! I don’t care who you iz; I got luv fa ya! Wit dat bein’ said, dat Menace dude go hard! Hope he goes far and hope we connect in tha future, on a serious note! Like, business-wise! Here comes Gage on tha 3rd verse, with a perfect way ta start tha verse off wit dis gun shit! His name says it all, so he here ta stay in tha hood! Nice reppin’ fa dem “treyz!” Catchy voice fa dis gangsta and I’m diggin’ how he has hunger and aggression in his voice; go, Gage! I do have ta say, fa 5:30 on tha length, this was nowhere near boring!! Y’all definitely held it down!! My Rating: 4.6

06. “EDDU” feat. J-Bae Bay-Bae
Not sure if I stylized his name right, but on DatPiff, this iz accidentally #7; I’m goin’ wit tha back cover for everything… “Jay Bae Bay” iz how he’s stylized on tha filename, but I’m goin’ wit tha back cover… Anyway, should be real nice wit Ruffin on tha beat! Think this tha 1st official song I’ve heard wit “EDDU” in tha title? Definitely lookin’ forward but before I get into it, lol, I can just imagine tha people up here, if they hear me say dat; they’d be so shocked, lol! I’m a Shift Leader and a Music Leader; they won’t catch on for years! I mean, we’re already years into EDDU, too! >>> I like tha lil’ talkin’ in tha beginning wit your Baton Rouge-born voice and shit; nice… Tha beat’s definitely pure, once again! LOL, what a hook; gotta feel it! Thought it was more of a threat, but it’s more of a sexual thang, here! Gotta luv how you repeat tha 2nd ½ of tha hook wit tha title; gotta keep goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’ and goin’, lol!! Here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some nice shit, just engagin’ in dem X-rated activities! Sounds nice on this beat; I’ll keep followin’ you! You don’t need 100,000 followers; you’re fine tha way you are, right now, as far as your status! Hearin’ this Jay dude on tha 2nd verse and he sounds good; catchy voice and yeah, he said it: “JayDae Baby!” LOL, tha 3rd hook ain’t do tha repeatin’, but had Jay go, “Eat up…! Eat up…!” ROFL @ you at tha end, in your regular, calm voice: “Aight… Aight…” My Rating: 4.4

07. “Ain’t Coming Down” feat. Vicboi
B-Mayne (dash or no dash?) on tha beat, here, with a nice-lookin’ collab ta anticipate! >>> Definitely purer than pure wit tha beat start, here; gotta anticipate it!! Gotta luv how there’s Baton Rouge injected in tha beat at all times!! It’s like a heavy dose!! Wit dat bein’ said, we have a nice hook from Karl, here; sounds catchy! Vicboi on tha 1st verse and he’s doin’ a nice job wit tha rappin’, here; just luv dat southern style in his voice! Here you are on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit dat shit we gotta hear! Glad you always keep it G, and I must admit, seven songs in, and I’m so glad you’re not braggin’ about money or any of dat bullshit! So glad fa dat!! No wonder why I’m enjoyin’ this review so much!! Ooh @ 2:35; luv how tha beat just stopped fa a sec. and you continued on! My Rating: 4.4

08. “Iron” feat. Needy Nee
Accidentally #11 on tha DatPiff tracklisting… Anyway, Ruffin doin’ tha beat, this time, and I’m anticipatin’ this one! Prolly a G-Lane G song wit tha beat slammin’ in ya in an addictive way!! >>> Dat Baton Rouge quality in tha beat dat I luv; nice job, once again, Ruffin!! Future producer; just don’t sell out!! Ooh, much catchier than I thought this was gon be!! Just luv when you repeat tha title on tha 2nd ½ of tha hook; that’s tha key fa a catchy-ass Baton Rouge song!! Fuck, your CD jammin’ soooooooooo hard!!! And, we got Needy on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some gutta shit fa this G-Lane! Now, she’s entered her 30’s, keepin’ it goin’! Can’t believe she was only 24 when I first heard her; where’d tha time go? Here you are on tha 2nd verse and you got this G-shit goin’ on, non-stop! Great job wit tha verse, but that fuckin’ hook’s soooooooooooooooo addiiiiiiiiiictiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive!!! Just luv dat 2nd ½ of it!!! My Rating: 4.9

½time: Whoo, this CD’s too jammin’!!! Just really luv how you bring your A-game at all times, here!! Tha production iz so on an A+ level; A++!!! Almost all of your features I’ve neva heard before, and all dem dudes go hard!!! And, most importantly, you got some tight-ass verses, as well as some addictive, catchy-ass hooks!!! Keep it up, bruh! You’re at a hot 4.6 for tha CD rating, currently; pure rating!!!

09. “So Dumb” feat. Vicboi & Needy Nee
Again, it says that K.O. produced tha track… Either way, I’m anticipatin’ this collab, as well! >>> Sounds like a Baton Rouge hood anthem; gotta rep fa dem hoodz! Might’ve remembered this from a sample you might’ve given me, at times, last year; nice shit! Tha hook’s catchy wit this beat; gotta luv how you holdin’ G-Lane down to tha fullest! This gotta be tha hottest CD of 2015; props fa startin’ tha year off real nice!!! Here you are on tha 1st verse and you’re comin’ through wit some catchy shit; you’re real sick wit it, makin’ me nod my head non-stop! Keepin’ this shit goin’ wit Vicboi on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some catchy shit! Dat voice definitely holds tha hoods of Gardere down!! “I really do my shit;” always! And yea, “Ain’t no pussy in dat click,” when it comes to dat Lane! I mean, there’s only two that are pussy ta me. One’s all stuck-up, stubborn and afraid of BPMs, while there’s anotha one who randomly deleted me and unfollowed me from Facebook, Twitter & Instagram all ‘cause I sent them their awards. It’s like, really? Can’t get any mo “pussy” than dat!! Back to tha positive, here: Needy on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through, consistently rippin’ up tha track on this beat!! Wow, neva stoppin’ anytime soon!! Wow, she just keeps goin’ and goin’ and goin’!! That was definitely a nice and consistent verse!!! My Current Rating: 4.7
EDIT: Forgot I reviewed this on tha I Love My Hood mixtape…

10. “Ride Or Die”
I have ta say, my back’s killin’ me while I’m doin’ this review. However, tha music’s too tight to where I continue without stoppin’! This next one’s produced by C Nile; can’t wait ta hear it!! >>> A fade-in intro? Awkward, but tha beat sounds pretty nice, and it’s only 2:32 on tha length… Likin’ tha beat, here; only one verse this gon be? Catchy hook; gotta hold onta KarlWayne, ya dig? Hearin’ tha verse and it sounds nice; great-soundin’ song fa somethin’ a lil’ slower… My Rating: 4.2

11. “Up There”
I know I reviewed this one last year, on that one compilation disc you were featured on. I remember this bein’ so catchy… What I had said, previously: Nice beat from Nunu James, and here’s Karl on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit a crew! Feels great ta hear this and now that I’m actively hangin’ out, I can feel tha whole crew-like rhymes of havin’ multiple people witchu! Tha hook ain’t “bullshit;” it just sounds catchy, and a lot catchier wit tha “fuck that, get it up there” shit that repeats!! Great “shit!” Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty nice, too! Nice reppin’, my boy! My Current Rating: 4.6

12. “Some More” feat. Ryco Hu$$le & Big June
K.O. production. And, to go with what I said before, make it 3: Not really likin’ that Ryco ain’t “wanna be a part of hearin’ why B-Real ruined my Louisiana passion.” It’s like, you can’t be afraid! That’s why, I’m a Shift Leader! And, I take risks, not hide away! Anyway, lemme see what we got, here… >>> Really likin’ tha beat start, here; nice hook from you, too, K.O., lol! Diggin’ how you on a mission fa “mo!” Tha 1st verse sounds pretty nice, here; props fa holdin’ tha hood down, as always! Hearin’ tha 2nd from Ryco… it’s acceptable, except these stupid-ass “money” obsessions; that don’t go wit this CD! It’s not like I’m gettin’ any or any music, anyway, so I could give a fuck less! Only 24 seconds left and there’s a 3rd verse: Big June (an “E” missing on tha back cover?)… He sounds nice on this shit; great shit fa only 24 seconds! My Rating: 4.2

13. “Ask About Me” feat. BluBlack
Previously reviewed… A Q-Red-produced track, here. Though I still resist leaving feedback (like, it’s more normal for an actual penis to randomly appear), I think this sounds good, as always. Nice job wit you on tha hook; hook almost sounds a lil’ like some older tracks from others, but you gotta feel it! Here you are on tha 1st verse, too, comin’ through, spittin’ in a great, post-jail kinda way! Lots of “eat dat dick up” shit ‘round 1:19; gotta threaten ‘em wit your “dick.” Got Blu on tha 2nd verse, and he sounds real great, as always! Really diggin’ that he always still smokes, as well as feelin’ like tha coolest dude in dat Lane! My Current Rating: 4.4

14. “Bodied” feat. G-Lane Steve
A Hammer-produced track, here; don’t think I’ve eva heard of him… Also, this should be a nice collab wit tha Stevenson on tha feature, lol… >>> Definitely diggin’ tha slow, creepy-soundin’ beat intro!! It got louder once tha hook came in, and this sounds nice! Diggin’ tha hook, as you hold it down to tha fullest! Gotta luv how G-Lane Steve starts tha 1st verse off wit dem “chewies” and shit like dat! Good shit, tha whole way ‘round… Here you are on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some nice shit, as always! Gotta luv how you holdin’ it down fa tha gangstaz at all times! And, this beat definitely goes great with it! What tha hell? What happened? There’s 24 seconds of silence at tha end; why, lol? My Rating: 4.3

15. “Bitch Do” feat. J-Bae Bay-Bae
Back to this anticipatin’ feature and Ruffin on tha beat; whoot, whoot!! >>> Beat sounds catchy; it sounds less-energetic than other tracks he’s produced but it’s still nice. Tha hook sounds catchy wit this title and all this shit repeatin’; “ride dat dick,” lol… Nice job wit tha hook and 1st verse, so far, Mr. JayDae… He holdin’ it down witchu, creatin’ some catchiness… And, here you are on tha 2nd verse, wit your “Tolerance on zero;” gotta feel it! LOL @ strokin’ tha “pistol;” you know! Damn, 12 seconds of silence at tha end… My Rating: 4.3

16. “Fucked Up” feat. Needy Nee
Ooh, tha “Up There” producer on this (Nunu James); can’t wait ta hear this one, too! >>> Beat sounds pretty nice; great sound, once again! LOL, I tried to guess tha hook and say, “You got me fucked up;” I was close, lol! It’s, “Bitch, you got me all tha way, all tha way, all tha way fucked up!” Nice job wit tha hook and you holdin’ down tha 1st verse, as well; good shit! Now, we got Needy on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit great shit, once again! It’s all about lettin’ out tha inner-gangsta in ya! LOL, she sure shoved in tha final bar of her verse, lol! My Rating: 4.2

17. “Out My Top” feat. Bizzak Man & C4
Endin’ it wit a K.O. production… C-4 (with a dash) iz a group consisting of Piper, Ryco Hu$$le & Trouble T. However, just got a friend request from this C4 (without tha dash), also from BR! Regardless of anything, I’m anticipated ta hear this four-minute track wit Bizzak on tha feature! >>> Whoa @ tha beginning beat; kinda shocked me outta nowhere wit its distortion! Holy, distortion; luv it!! Wait, it’s really, actually fucked up!! Even when I try and listen to it on DatPiff, tha audio’s all fucked…! Wow, what happened to tha file? At least I can hear it… As far as tha hook, it’s pretty nice how y’all “out [y’all] top!” Iz dat Bizzak on tha hook? That gon be my guess? Here you are on tha 1st verse and it sounds great wit all tha “bruh” parts; nice! You did a nice job deliverin’ tha 1st verse! If I had ta guess tha 2nd verse, it’s Bizzak? LOL, it’s so distorted… I’m diggin’ this gangsta perspective on tha 2nd verse, though… Tha 3rd verse sounds okay, as well, here… My Rating: 4.3

Overall: Well, I have to say, this was a really-impressive CD, Mr. KarlWayne!! You’ve neva been soft or even average; every song I’ve heard from you’s had, mainly, original production, as well as it bein’ a hot banga!! You’ve neva disappointed me and this whole entire CD definitely went hard!! Tha 1st ½ struck me more, but you kept tha consistency goin’, as well as keepin’ me awake! Props fa doin’ dat!! Good job wit most of tha features and 95% of tha producers!! Keep up tha great work, my boy!!

Review #1,431: Dizzy a.k.a. Raw D.I. "The Gift & The Curse"

Reviewed on 1.31.2015 (Review #1,431)

Just a few more hours before tha month ends… This CD I finna review from 2013 and it’s sponsored by P.C.O. Entertainment, once again: Dizzy a.k.a. Raw D.I. The Gift & The Curse! Start Time: 6:03 PM | End Time: 6:42 PM

01. “Gift & The Curse”
Without tha “The,” lol? >>> Nice piano to start this off… Sounds like we slowed thangz down since tha Luv 4 Da Streets disc… Tha hook sounds nice, and even though tha beat’s nice, it sounds like this gon be more on a boring level than tha Luv 4 Da Streets songs? Either way, I fux witcha, Dizzy; gotta feel your rhymes on tha 1st verse, includin’ those “cops sirens” at 1:17, lol… Oh, and no hook, here? Yeah, this gon be boring fa 5:15; that’s real long, especially wit no features… Overall, great rhymes, but too long fa an intro track! My Rating: 3.5

02. “Geto Boyz” feat. Raj Smoove
Here comes tha Smoove in tha beginning of tha disc, once again… >>> Instantly started, here, with anotha slower-soundin’ beat… Nice rhymes, once again, though this kinda boring, too… Damn, anotha one without a hook? Oh, I hear it, but damn, no transition in tha beat? Yuck… Nice mixin’ from Raj toward tha end of this track… My Rating: 3.1

03. “Shit 2getha” feat. UTP Skip
Yeah! >>> Pretty aggressive wit tha beginning and that’s “Fuck you” movie sample in tha beginning… Okay, this sounds much betta; hearin’ an actual hook with a beat transition first, and it sounds nice! Yeah, I have ta agree wit this title, especially during 2013, when I ain’t have my “shit 2getha!” I was dick-suckin’ this dude (and, when I say that, I mean, “Dickridin’,” but I stress my vulgar wording due to I got screwed in tha end) from Baton Rouge, who’s a rapper/producer. He still owes me $400 for me savin’ his career and it sux how tha whole year was him, him, him, and he blocked me! It’s like, R.I.P. 2013 fa me! Anyway, nice shit from you on tha 1st verse, Dizzy; gotta feel how you puttin’ it down on tha track, here… Hearin’ Skip on tha 2nd verse and he’s got tha aggressive voice, too; gotta luv how he comes through hard on tha track! Dizzy, here you are on tha 3rd verse (almost thought tha whole UTP was on this, accordin’ to tha ID, but it just says, “UTP Skip,” which iz just Skip); nice job, Diz! And, endin’ it wit a quick lil’ snippet from that movie, once again… My Rating: 4.2

04. “Bananaz”
Whoooooot!! >>> Beat Doctor on tha beat, here… Diggin’ tha beat, here; a catchier, slower beat with a nice hook wit you goin’ “bananaz!” Wow @ tha 1st verse: “Eat your body like… cancer;” interestin’ how you spit dat… Once again, you doin’ a nice job wit tha 1st verse, spittin’ like you need to spit rhymes… Tha 2nd verse sounds like you’re ready fa tha hoes, here, wit how you describin’ their actions as “bananaz,” lol… “Bitch, I’m from New Orleans, hear it in my grammar;” already! “Ya heard me!” A nice lil’ bridge/outro, here, with those few spots you mentioned dat go “bananaz.” LOL, there weren’t that many spots… Also, hope there’s a faster-soundin’ song on this CD, too…; you need them faster club bangaz, Dizzy! My Rating: 4.1

05. “So Faded” feat. Mugsy & Rantz Davis
>>> Sounds nice and scary for tha beginning beat… Um, it went from a gay-soundin’ voice in tha bcakground to a hot-soundin’, synth-soundin’ beat! Nice job wit tha 1st verse, Dizzy, handlin’ tha beat well…! Hearin’ tha hook and it’s that voice… Even though it sounds weird, at least tha beat and tha content of bein’ “faded” sounds nice! Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty nice, too, here; good shit… Hearin’ Mugsy on tha 3rd verse and it’s good, even though tha Luv 4 Da Streets times sounded catchier… My Rating: 4.2

½time: This album was off to a boring start, but it picked up slightly toward tha 2nd ¼… So far, tha CD rating’s at a 3.8; let’s keep this goin’…

06. “Ever Since” feat. Kourtney Heart
Once I saw Kourtney’s name, I instantly thought of Magnolia Shorty… >>> Not feelin’ tha beginning beat; sounds real soft… Even though this has a bounce vibe in tha beat, I’m not really into this. Kourtney ain’t too bad, like a Jennifer Hudson on tha hook, but I’m not too crazy about this R&B-soundin’ shit… Here’s you on tha 1st verse and it sounds like you’ve been inflicted by your “brother” and his death… Okay, a quicker verse, this time; at least it’s not that long… Here’s tha 2nd verse and did “fuck” get censored? An okay verse… Even got Kourtney on tha lil’ bridge, here, missin’ ‘emMy Rating: 2.8

07. “Downtown Nigga” feat. 8-9 Boyz & Kidd Kidd
Nice collab? >>> Samplin’ SWV and their “Downtown,” here; makes sense… I’m diggin’ how y’all turned this into a 2013 version, fa tha N.O., here… Hearin’ tha beginning and it sounds nice… Okay, keepin’ it goin’ wit these 8-9 Boyz; sound okay to hear… Glad to hear that err-body on they grind… Good ta hear you, too, here… Kidd on tha 3rd verse, here, soundin’ good ta collab wit, as well. Props fa shoutin’ out Sess 4-5’s “Nuthin’ But Fire Records,” too. My Rating: 4.2

08. “Fuck A Hook” feat. Paasky & 3D Na’Tee
Before tha “Hot Nigga” no-hook song, lol? >>> Beat’s only decent, here, but it works… Here you are on tha 1st verse and you’re comin’ through wit some nice shit, at least… Either way, this just a decent combination, between tha verse and tha beat; nothing striking for me… No “hook,” just like tha title, and it’s Paasky on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit regular-soundin’ rhymes… We got Na’Tee on tha 3rd verse, here, and she’s got some nice rhymes, here… Yeah, how can they call her “average?” She’s always been holdin’ tha rhymes down! My Rating: 3.8

09. “24/7” feat. Mugsy & Teco
Nice collab, once again? >>> Sounds nice with a B.G. sample and that “24/7” repeatin’ on tha hook, as well as Teco holdin’ tha hook down, on this beat… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds good from you, Diz; keep holdin’ it down… Hearin’ Mugsy on tha 2nd verse and it’s an okay verse fa me; tha flow’s a lil’ catchy, with how it’s delivered… You’re on tha 3rd verse, here, Dizzy…; ehh, it’s okay. I mean, there’s nothin’ wrong wit this joint; it just doesn’t strike me easily, like tha older songs… Oh yeah, I like when tha “7” repeats, in tha beat, like, “7—7—7—7—7—7—7,” lol… My Rating: 3.7

10. “2 Fli”
Yup! >>> Beat’s a lil’ soft for this ending track, which kinda fits… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it sounds like it passes tha test, at least… Bleh, a sample on tha hook; it’s whateva… Tha 2nd verse’s only okay, too; nothin’ special, here… My Rating: 2.5

Overall: I’ono… This was just a decent album for me; nothin’ really strikin’ outta it… Only a 4.2’s my highest rating? I’ono… Prolly could’ve had a few faster beats, but not really on tha R&B side… Also, a few tracks bored me with too many rhymes and a lack of transitioning tha beats… But, hopefully, you’ll be hittin’ me up when you drop a new disc; lemme know!

Review #1,430: Dizzy a.k.a. Raw D.I. & Mugsy "Luv 4 Da Streets"

Reviewed on 1.31.2015 (Review #1,430)

Don’t really got time for any reviewz, especially since I’m swappin’ one of my dayz to come in tomorrow, but lemme get into this: Sponsored by P.C.O. Entertainment, here’s a random review just to get outta tha way. From 2009, this iz Dizzy a.k.a. Raw D.I. & Mugsy Luv 4 Da StreetsStart Time: 4:21 PM | End Time: 5:21 PM

01. Intro (Raj Smoove)
>>> Nice intro from Raj, includin’ this beat in tha background… My Rating: N/A

02. “Love For The Streets” feat. Nutt Da Kidd
Lemme see… >>> Really diggin’ tha singin’; prolly would’ve added it if I would’ve known it in 2009! Definitely a catchy-ass hook for “tha streets!” Here’s Dizzy on tha 1st verse, comin’ through, hittin’ “tha club wit [his] fitted and a fresh white tee;” whoot! Gotta keep all those fresh styles alive and not regular clothes! Rappers and celebrities like me ‘posed to be special, above tha normal people! Sucks that they “wanna Soulja-Slim [Nutt],” but he spittin’ some nice rhymes fa “tha streets” on tha 2nd verse! Great shit, right chea! Lots of consistency for this ’09 tracks, all about “tha streets!” Tha 3rd verse’s Muggs and they sound like a heavier-set dude, lol? Nice verse from this P.C.O. reprasenta, since they said, “P.C.O., we in tha buildin’!” LOL @ how it went silent when he said, “Bitch…bitch…bitch…,” and then, tha hook came back on; whoot!! Whoot!! My Rating: 4.7

03. We Got Love
>>> Eatin’ somethin’ in tha beginning? Sounds like a skit, though I thought it was a song… Nice lil’ skit, feelin’ in tha zone! LOL @ “Myspace;” that song was only two years old at tha time, but felt so long ago! Like, right now, this CD’s six years old, but it seems like tha same age difference as tha two years ago with “Myspace” when this mixtape dropped, lol. My Rating: N/A

04. “Bish Wazam”
! >>> Nice hook and really-nice beat, here; definitely diggin’ tha true, southern quality, here! Gotta luv tha title and tha “wazam!” Here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some catchy rhymes and deliverin’ ‘em nicely! Here’s Mugsy on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some nice G-shit! LOL, “Damn, Muggs, you do more than rap;” that’s nice! It’s all about doin’ as much as you can in media! Mo from Mugsy on tha 3rd verse—okay, alternatin’ between Dizzy & Mugsy on tha 3rd verse; nice! A quick verse, but tha alternation worked! My Rating: 4.4

05. “How Ya Feel”
>>> Ooh, a “pill”-poppin’ anthem? Even “smoke dat kill?” And, “ya rounds?” Gotta luv this hook! A regular-soundin’ hook ova this catchy beat, but you gotta luv tha content!! Tha 1st verse from Muggs sounds nice! “This purple won’t get me higher;” gotta agree! Once it hits throw-up levels, you’ve basically maxed yourself out, lol! Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ nice, as well; great job, Mugsy, fa holdin’ shit down… Now, time fa some Dizzy on tha 3rd verse: “Muthafuck how a nigga feel;” diggin’ tha aggression! Gotta luv pickin’ up hours at my job, but I hate when I can’t get overtime, at times! Like, I’m glad I’m pickin’ up more hours tomorrow, but I hate that I gotta give up one of my dayz, during tha week; I ain’t that over on hours! Only 35 a week? Damn… My Rating: 4.3

06. This Shit Right Chere
>>> A nice interlude wit shout outs… LOL, “You don’t like it? Suck unda my nuts;” nice and raw, like Dizzy provides it, lol! My Rating: N/A

07. “N2U” feat. Kangol Slim
>>> A bounce-influenced song, though I’m not diggin’ Kangol singin’ on tha hook… Hearin’ Dizzy on tha 1st verse…; it’s whateva… I mean, great for bouncin’, but that singin’ kinda pushes me away from “diggin’” this… Mugsy on tha 2nd verse, here, encounterin’ a chick…; not bad… Dizzy on tha 3rd verse, with a “pistol”-sized “dick,” lol… This verse sounds real nice ova tha beat; nice flow… My Rating: 3.2

08. “Get High”
LOL, 2009 was tha 1st year I smoked weed. However, I ain’t “get high” ‘til 2013 and last year, it mainly took off, thanx to workin’, connections, my cousins gettin’ older & my friend from NY comin’ back into my life. And, I have to say, it’s all about celebratin’!! >>> Beat intro sounds like a nice sample; I’m definitely anticipatin’ this one! Well, I shouldn’t’ve bragged too much about a sample ‘cause there’s an actual vocal sample on tha hook… Likin’ how y’all say, “We get high,” and tha sample sounds like a lil’ baby openin’ its mouth, lol? I’m weird with my feedback and I luv it… Tha 1st verse’s Mugsy and it sounds nice to hear on this beat; nice and decent… I like tha “hiiiiiiiiiigh” lil’ intense climax at 1:07, a few bars before tha 1st verse ended! Dizzy on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through with a way to “ease tha pain.” Sounds good, even though my highs are usually for my socializing, a great enhancer! LOL @ “Styles P” and his song. They had to make his song, “I get by…by…by…by…” Meanwhile, Tove Lo pulled through for tha pop world, last year, with, “You’re gone and I gotta stay high, all tha time,” lol! We’re much more accepting in this current world, now, lol! My Current Rating: 4.4
EDIT: LOL, only a 4.0 when I reviewed it, back on tha On The Inside Looking Out CD? Ain’t realize I remember this one; I “get high” now, so no wonder why my rating’s higher, lol!

09. What Would I Be Without Y’all
>>> Nice lil’ interlude! Yeah, “what would [y’all] be without [me],” FrankieThaLuckyDog? My Rating: N/A

10. “Yeah Bitch (Remix)” feat. Lil’ Wayne
>>> Nice beat… Weird hearin’ this Wayne voice and it’s weird that his voice changed ova these years… It’s always seemed like nothin’ has changed much ‘cause he neva has taken a year off… Anyway, tha hook’s catchy; “yeah, bitch!!” Dizzy, you did a nice job on tha hook and now, you shinin’ on ‘em on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit them rhymes fa a star… Here comes Wayne on tha 2nd verse… OMG, it reminds me of an ’07 Wayne, with tha voice… Tha punchlines are still nice to hear; can’t complain, here… Tha 3rd verse sounds pretty nice to hear from Dizzy, as well; good shit! Yeah, back when “we gettin’ money” was nice and innocent! I got robbed $555 in 2011 & $400 in 2013, just fa bookin’ and helpin’ bitch-made people from BR’s careers out, smfh! My Current Rating: 4.3
EDIT: Ain’t realize I reviewed this back on tha On The Inside Looking Out CD, back in ’08, on time, lol…

½time: Nice mixtape, so far, goin’ ova pretty well with me! Keep this shit up, guys; y’all consistent! A 4.2-rated CD, currently!

11. “Tear It Down (Remix)” feat. B.G.
Anotha remix, here… >>> Sounds nice wit Gizzle on tha 1st verse, ova this beat… And, forgot to mention: Mugsy sounds nice on tha hook, tearin’ “dis muthafucka down!” Speakin’ of, here he iz on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some nice mixin’, as far as tha dranks! Got mo shit from Gizzle on tha 3rd verse, here, comin’ through wit mo shit; not bad… Oh, and Muggs took tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse, here, reppin’ through this track…; he even “jiggalatin’,” too! Nice! Make sure y’all still on dat level ‘cause I’m just enterin’ dat kinda territory! We have 1:37 left, and do we have anotha verse? Sounds like Mugsy doin’ an outro, or a lil’ chant? Yeah, I’m likin’ this chantin’ of throwin’ “dem sets high!” Almost thought it was gon be a ward call, lol… My Rating: 4.0

12. “It’s Gonna Be Alright”
>>> A sample, here, on tha hook… Not really crazy about these kinda jointz, though I’m diggin’ this different-soundin’, throwback-kinda beat, at tha moment… Here’s Mugsy on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit catchy shit! Gotta keep “doin’ yo jizzo,” ya feel me?! Here’s Mugsy on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through fa tha “Tupac” fans, lol, as they “have [their] headphones on, listenin’ ta Tupac.” And, here’s Mugsy on tha 3rd verse: “To all my OG niggaz who been trappin’ since ’83;” props fa me figurin’ out what year you’re born in, Mugsy. You already know I’m smart wit dem birthdayz! My Rating: 3.9

13. Pussy Blockin’
>>> A skit, here… Yeah, air ‘em out! “PB & J,” and that’s “pussy blockin’,” lol… At tha time when this CD came out, I only dealt with one “pussy.” There was this DJ from Baton Rouge that I did a commercial for, that he wanted. Then, when I made mine, he made his own, and I tried to get paid for mine, but he ain’t pay me. Fuck, glad I learned my lesson, though I’m so behind in old reviewz, now, smh! Err-body betta appreciate what I do, now ‘cause I’m not really available, anymore! My Rating: N/A

14. “The Truth”
>>> Sounds like a catchy hook ova this decent beat; nice job, Dizzy! “I spit that real shit; these otha niggaz just rappin’!” Ain’t that tha truth? Gotta luv when I “spit that real shit” when it comes ta my music, too! Here’s Dizzy on tha 1st verse, comin’ through, findin’ a way ta make himself “smile;” gotta find a way! “Got tha word, ‘Gangsta,’ on my left hand;” nice… Tha 2nd verse from Dizzy’s soundin’ nice, too, and I can agree wit him, here: “I was lookin’ for some bullshit to get into!” Even though it wasn’t trouble-related, “I was” gettin’ myself into “some bullshit,” back then, when I was doin’ niggaz a favor by doin’ commercials fa free! I mean, look at what I fuckin’ did to myself! I should’ve charged dem bitches ‘cause they all was fake and I made myself post-pone my Louisiana Reviewz Marathon due to makin’ so many commercials! I wish I wasn’t like dat, but I learned tha hard way! It’s a neva-endin’ grind!! Here we are wit Dizzy, once again, on tha 3rd verse; almost gettin’ y’all voices confused, fa a second, but I got it… Props fa feedin’ your “family,” Dizzy! My Rating: 4.1

15. “Ignant” feat. Skip
>>> This beat sounds catchier; let’s see what we got goin’ on, here… Tha hook sounds pretty catchy with this title; nice job, Muggs! It sounds like a catchy club banga… Hearin’ him on tha 1st verse and it sounds like he livin’ large; sounds good ta hear… Mo Muggs on tha 2nd verse, here—guess no Dizzy, now, lol? Y’all alternatin’!—and it sounds good, still… Yeah! Skip on tha 3rd verse, here, and his “two words” are, “Fuck off!!” Yeah!! Sounds nice with his aggression in his voice, on this verse! Nice appearance; sounds nice on this beat! My Rating: 4.2

16. Ain’t No Love
>>> Nice skit, but yeah, I wish I “ain’t [have] no love,” back in ’09! I was dick-suckin’ too many rappers’ dicks and shit, back then! Wish I would’ve been more self-centered like they dumb asses! My Rating: N/A

17. “Killa” feat. Teco
>>> A nice beat start, here; diggin’ tha laidback vibe in tha instruments… Tha hook sounds pretty catchy wit tha singin’, this time, unlike tha Kangol one; nice job, Teco! Here we go wit Dizzy on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some nice shit ta spit ova this beat; nice rhymes… Here’s Mugsy on tha 2nd verse, and he sounds nice on this shit, wit his choppaz! Even a singin’ 3rd verse from Teco, here, rap-sung… Verse? Maybe, I’ll consider it a bridge, since it was pretty quick? And, a lil’ endin’ from Teco, too, singin’ tha way through… My Rating: 4.3

18. “Like A Muhphukka”
Luvin’ tha spelling! >>> Nice beat start from Sinista, here; let’s see how this gon turn out… Anthemic wit tha beat, now that I hear tha hook from Dizzy! Yeah, “like a muhphukka!!” Luv daht spelling, 1ce agayne!! Tha 1st verse from Dizzy’s nice, too; nice and quick, here! Here Dizzy continues dat hot shit on tha 2nd verse… Diggin’ tha rhymes, once again, Diz, you Raw D.I., lol! Mo shit from Dizzy on tha 3rd verse, here, and since it’s all him, this title’s remindin’ me that I’ve heard this before? Actually, no, but I see other songs on here I’ve heard before, lol! My Rating: 4.6

19. Skrate Up On The Get Down
>>> Nice lil’ outro, here; props fa takin’ me down this Luv 4 Da Streets journey, lol… My Rating: N/A

20. “Pump My Fist” feat. Stevie Drumma
>>> Diggin’ tha hook, here, includin’ how tha beat sounds wit y’all on tha hook, pumpin’ y’all’s “fist!” Tha 1st verse from Mugsy sounds nice ta hear; good shit! “So, nigga, roll da weed up;” yeah! Here’s Dizzy on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some catchy shit… Almost reminds me of Trillville & “Neva Eva” wit, “Look at my neck, look at my wrist,” wit tha way you delivered it! Great flashback and wow, that song was only six years old at tha time of tha release of this mixtape. And now, this mixtape’s six years old, today, lol… Here’s tha both of y’all on tha 3rd verse, alternatin’ back and forth like catchy muhphukkaz, lol!! “Stevie Drumma,” huh? Oh, makes sense; I believe he’s on tha hook, uncredited! Yeah, that voice reminds me of “Sit Still,” so yeah! Those were great times! My Rating: 4.4

Overall: Nice mixtape, y’all! Y’all kept it consistent wit some hot, quality-soundin’ street shit fa tha 504! Keep up tha great work, y’all! And, Dizzy, I got anotha flashback review ta do fa you in a few! It from 2013; not as old as this one, ya dig?

Review #1,429: D-So "Da Ghetto Hero"

Reviewed on 1.30.2015 (Review #1,429)

Keepin’ this goin’ wit anotha review for tha day: D-So Da Ghetto Hero; pretty excited ta hear this one! Shout out to Baton Rouge Music Company (BRMC), Money Makers Entertainment, Money & Power Records, etc.! Start Time: 6:50 PM | End Time: 7:45 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! © 2015 CD Review (Review #1,429) reviewed on 1.30.2015 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

EDIT: Just found tha back cover after I reviewed this whole entire thing, so there gon be some additions to parts where I wasn’t sure what was what…

01. BRMC Exclusive
A nice four seconds… >>> DeTrane! My Rating: N/A

02. Intro
LOL, more introductions… >>> Nice beat from Shonta; thought it would just be talkin’… My Rating: N/A

03. “Act A Sho” feat. Mookie Blakk
Ooh, Jiggalaters style, here…! Produced by Young Hits & Shonta! >>> LOL, what was up with tha beginning? It sounded like it came from a different CD… This sounds like it’s from 2003, like tha Da G.A.N.G. CD or somethin’… Anyway, I ain’t get to review that CD, yet, but I have to say, this that quality, right chea!! Feelin’ tha Baton Rouge beat with Mookie in tha intro! Also, you on tha 1st verse, here, throwin’ dat “act” right on ‘em! What tha…? Did it just cut off? What just happened? Oh, it was only 1:08; nice for a tease! My Rating: 4.6

04. “How I’m Feeling Right Now” feat. Mookie Blakk
Kinda shot… Can’t wait for next Saturday! Gon go to NY & get fulla dat shit again!! >>> A Young Hits beat, here (only one on tha back cover to not have production credit…); diggin’ tha beat, as it reminds me of Shonta! Great sound, here, includin’ tha hook! Gotta luv how you comin’ through on tha 1st verse: “‘Bauds out tha cleaner;” you already know!! I still wear mine; only true Gs like us wear Girbauds, still!! They neva age!! Fuck all those clothes dat err-body wears that’s for normal people that you can find anywhere! It’s all about tha gangsta clothes like dem ‘Bauds! Nice job wit tha 1st verse, “how” you luv your life! And, just like you said, “It’s ’09…,” accordin’ ta this, lol. Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse, and you sound tight, once again! Gotta luv how you comin’ through wit tha energy; can’t wait to party witchu one day!! It gon happen sooner or later! Can neva be sober; gotta always have some shit ta give you a boost, ya feel me?! Still can’t believe I ate a weed cookie a few weeks ago; talk about wildin’ out!! Oh, and, Mookie Blakk on tha 3rd verse (not listed on tha feature); gotta luv his energy! It’s all about tha positive shit, here, not tha shit that made me fade away from Louisiana for a while (niggaz blockin’ and not acceptin’ my promotion)! Always keep dat jigg sound alive!! My Rating: 4.7

05. “Do It Like I Do It” feat. T-Lo
Lookin’ forward ta hearin’ this Jiggalaters collaboration! Wonder how T-Lo’s doin’ and if he knows about me? I have neva talked to him, before… >>> Ooh @ tha start; sounds like tha Baton Rouge shit that really got me goin’, back in tha day!! Nice shit with tha “I know…!!” Gotta luv T-Lo on tha hook and how y’all combine y’allselves on tha track, together! Gotta luv tha 1st verse, too!! Keep reppin’ hard wit dis shit!! LOL, I love how you say, “Party,” and, “Retawded;” you know!! And, here he iz on tha 2nd verse; pure 225 / jiggalatin’ shit at its finest!! Hope he still doin’ good and stayin’ consistent, without a private Instagram, if he has one!! “X-Fyle on tha track;” thanx fa dat info, T-Lo! Gotta luv this quality, once again!! “I’m tha best when I do it;” you know!! My Rating: 4.8
EDIT: Back cover says Z-Man’s on tha feature and not T-Lo? I’m confused…?

06. “Jiggalate” feat. Sam I Am
Keep it goin’, keep it goin’!! >>> Nice intro; sounds like a throwback track! Can’t wait to review that Da Jiggalaters Vol. 1 CD or whateva it iz, soon! It gon be a long while till I get to it; got so much shit to get outta my way, first! But yeah, I know this song; I think I put this on my radio show? Anyway, gotta luv tha hook that’s dedicated to “tha jiggalaters,” courtesy of Sam I Am! And, you on tha verse, here; just luv your Master P voice in a Baton Rouge perspective! Great shit, you know! Great collab!! And, nice beat, X & Shonta!! My Rating: 4.8

07. “Ain’t No Secret” feat. Sam I Am
Featuring Sam I Am, right? Not listed on here, lol… Lil’ Nu Nu on tha beat! Yeah, neva “dead;” tha “Jigg City” sound stays alive! However, one thing I have to disagree with: Big Scoob’s Instagram’s private; what kinda shit’s that? Artists need to have music pages again, instead of havin’ their music name and havin’ shit private! It’s like, did they give up? Anyway, beat’s real nice, here, fa this vibe and tha hook’s nice! Gotta keep this shit alive! Here you are on tha 1st verse and it sounds pretty nice; great, ageless voice ta hold this down! Tha 2nd verse’s pretty nice, too; keep it goin’, bruh!! Of course, once again, gotta luv tha hook! “Blowin’ loud;” all day!! Get ta smoke wit tha chicks, now! And, here’s Sam on tha 3rd verse; glad y’all keepin’ dis Jiggalaters shit alive! Gotta always be connected and neva separated from makin’ music! Of course, great aggression and jigg’d up, as always!! My Current Rating: 4.6

08. “Smile Baby” feat. Lemelo & AD Future
Back cover says, “Hottest Thang Out Here,” as its title… X-Fyle on tha beat… You already know I do a lotta smilin’ while I’m high! >>> A lil’ softer, here, as well as a long length of 4:47? I’ono if I can fuck wit this, includin’ this gay-soundin’ Kanye voice in tha background of tha beginning… Anyway, let’s see how tha verses go… Tha hook’s first, and it’s aight… Sounds good from you on tha 1st verse, as always, but I can’t take tha background vocals, at all…! LOL @ “her like flies on shit;” fa’real!! Prolly could’ve been right under tha 4.0 if there were no gay background vocals, but not everythang gon be perfect in a review… Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad, here; you can make a love song good, at least… LOL, a feature on tha 3rd verse? Not sure who this iz, so I can’t give ‘em credit? Almost sounds like I know who they are… As far as this verse, it’s decent… My Rating: 3.3

½time: A lil’ iffy with tha song I just listened to, but for tha most part, this CD’s that pure fiya I was expectin’!! Glad you keepin’ dat jigg sound alive, as always! Those tha anthems I really luv and that’s tha environment I’ve always embraced with Baton Rouge and shit like dat, since I was 19! With that bein’ said, this CD’s worth a 4.5 fa me, so far!! Keep up tha great, loyal features and production!!!

09. “Lift Up Off Ground”
Without tha “The,” lol… >>> X-Fyle doin’ tha beat, here, and tha sample/intro sounds pretty anticipatin’!! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s real nice, especially ova this beat!! Luvin’ this unique beat, includin’ its dark theme!! Great job droppin’ this shit; keep this shit goin’!! Nice lil’ talkin’ interlude on tha 2nd hook, here; get it off yo mind!! Ooh, good, a 2nd verse; almost thought it wasn’t gon fit… This verse sounds good, too; can’t deny it… My Rating: 4.5

10. “Life Of A Jiggalater” feat. Sam I Am, T-Lo & Big Scoob
I always choose to spell it like “Jiggalater,” not “Jiggalator,” lol… Anyway, a title like this gets me anticipated; can’t wait to hear! >>> Here comes that Shonta sound in tha beginning; whoot, whoot, whoot!! “I’m rollin’;” yeah!! Sounds like some throwback-kinda Baton Rouge music, here; gotta luv it!! Nice hook; keep “rollin’,” dawg!! “Chewin’ like a billy goat;” lol, great way ta start tha 1st verse off! Nice rhymes, here; gotta engage in dem fights!! Ooh, Sam I Am came outta nowhere fa tha 2nd verse!! Sometimes, moments like this iz why I luv when features are not listed; it’s a nice surprise!! LOL @ tha “Tylenol” reference, Sam; you know!! Iz dat T-Lo on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse? Sounds like it; fuckin’ love him and what he brings!! “I will neva retire;” please, don’t!! Always stay active, despite me almost neva hearin’ you make tracks, that much…! LOL, mo Baton Rouge features on tha 3rd verse, here; not 100% sure who it iz… It either one of those Jiggalaters or someone else… LOL @ my confusion; gotta luv tha jigg perspective they bringin’ to tha table!! Sounds like Boonie? LOL, neva mind, it’s “Big Scoob;” grazie!! Almost wanna put Da Jiggalaters as tha feature, but I’ll leave it as everyone’s names. Once again, nice appearance, Big Scoob, but unprivate your IG!! B-Real ruined it fa err-body wit dat shit and I just wanna poke fun at artists fa doin’ that!! Also, you gotta take a trip up ta see me!! Too bad you ain’t make it before my radio show ended, three years ago! It made me feel like my show wasn’t worth what it was, and made me feel better that my show ended… My Rating: 4.6

11. “Wake Up”
“How may I wake up your Friday?” That’s what I was sayin’ 100x today, earlier at work! Gotta luv how I built a reputation off of dat and my energy! >>> X-Fyle on tha beat, here; sounds like a hot beat intro…! Ooh, a lil’ on tha faster side with tha kicks, too, in tha beginning! “Take a nice shit…;” that’s what’s up! That’s what I did during tha Baton Rouge Music Company review, yesterday! Gotta be real as much as you can, without any shame!! Gotta luv dat original hook; keep it goin’!! Tha 1st verse sounds great, here; nice, consistent rhymes! Oh wait, only one verse, lol? Still sounds great; would’ve luved to hear more of tha hook, though… My Rating: 4.5

12. “Real-Ass Nigga” feat. Lil’ Boonie & Nu$$ie
I remember this one from a while back… Reviewed it all tha way back in ’08 on tha Featuring Nu$$ie CD, despite it actually bein’ from ’06. LOL, no features listed on this CD’s appearance of this song and spelled “Niga,” instead; lol? Produced by Z-Man, here’s what I had to say, back in ’08:

“Dude in tha beginning wit all that “ya heard me” shit just goes to show you Baton Rouge in tha building, ya heard me! Pretty nice start so far wit that hook and that not-so-bad beat. Tha 1st verse on this was nice; love tha underground sound!! I’m hearin’ that Boonie on tha 2nd verse now… I barely heard him so I didn’t know what to expect his voice to sound like. He sounds cool and I guess he’s tough/trill if “he lets his nuts hang” without givin’ a fuck; great 2nd verse and once again, lovin’ this underground shit! Good, it’s *imitates him* “Nu$$ie!!” on tha 3rd verse! I like that “you don’t know me, so I ain’t dappin’ you” part. Great verse and I’m likin’ those “card” parts at tha end of his verse. Great lil’ combo here!”

At tha time, I only rated this a 4.1. I don’t think I really appreciated Louisiana as much, at tha time. Song’s way better, to this day! Beat’s pure from Z-Man and you bring that Baton Rouge sound to it at all times! Just gotta luv how you have 100% Baton Rouge in you!! My favorite place for rap; don’t wanna regret it, despite me dealin’ with issues, currently! As far as Nu$$ie, once again, I feel like him at my job. It’s like, if I was to die like him, I know my job’ll always think of me every single day!! My Current Rating: 4.7

13. “Tell Me” feat. Lil’ Variste
LOL, production listed in tha ID, here (X-Fyle); let’s see what we got here… >>> Soundin’ pretty nice wit tha beginning beat, here! Nice hook, D-So! “Yes, I go dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb!!” You know!! Nice job wit tha 1st verse, too; definitely jammin’ ova this beat, ya heard me?! And, tha 2nd verse’s nice, too; just luvin’ this beat!! So much energy in all those sounds!! X can surprise you, at times!! A feature on tha 3rd verse, here, from “Fairfield;” I’ono who it iz, but they sound tight! Feelin’ tha aggression in tha voice! Sounds like a 2010s jiggalater for Da Jiggalaters or somethin’! Consistent energy!! Consistent aggression!! Consistent jiggalatin’!! Consistent, pure fiya!!! My Rating: 4.7

14. “I’m Coming Thru” feat. Lil’ Koon, Lil’ Boonie & Big Scoob
Oh, now, we have everything listed? X-Fyle on tha beat; interestin’ collab! Don’t recall if I’ve eva heard Z spit, before… >>> This X-Fyle beat’s a lil’ slower, but prolly more street sounding? Still has that Baton Rouge vibe to it… You’re on tha 1st verse, here, and it sounds pretty nice; glad you “got tha game from tha OGs!” Tha hook sounds pretty good; reminds me of a random Baton Rouge song I would review… Boonie on tha 2nd verse? I don’t think; I think it Z-Man, despite me not knowin’ tha voice… It just makes me think it’s him and it sounds pretty hot; great shit! Keep makin’ pure tracks!! LOL, tha 3rd verse, here (Boonie?); lol, I’m confused again! Either way, this shit’s definitely nice!! “On dem jiggaz;” gotta luv it! Oh, more switchin’? Wow, a 2nd part of tha 3rd verse, and it’s supa-fast!! Definitely sounds nice wit these fast rhymes!! Can anybody keep up, lol?! And, a long beat outro, here… My Rating: 4.5
EDIT: Feature on tha DatPiff file says Z-Man’s featured, instead of Big Scoob? I’m confused again, lol…?

15. “Gobblin’” feat. T-Lo & Lil’ Boonie
*Imitates gobbling sounds* LOL! BTW, “Goblin” has only one “B” in it, but I gon keep tha two “B”s ‘cause of gobbling = “Gobblin’,” with an apostrophe, lol… >>> A long joint with 5:05 on tha length… I like hearin’ your, “Okay,” in tha beginning; gets me hyped up! Heard a “Cadillac” tag or somethin’ from a female? Anyway, definitely diggin’ this hook as it’s just a “Gobbler” sample on tha hook, lol… LOL, iz that Lil’ Wayne and his “goblin,” lol? Funny… Here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some G-shit; gotta luv it! “And, if you violate a G, you get a visitation;” yessir!! Ooh, “Mr. ‘All Day’,” a.k.a. T-Lo’s voice before tha 2nd verse!! What’s his Facebook name, if he has one? Hearin’ him on tha 2nd verse and “lyrically, [he squashes] ‘em;” whoo!! Mane, you gotta luv this dude!! He definitely makes this jigg sound sound real nice, with a gangsta twist!! Definitely worth my five minutes, here! Uh oh, anotha voice… Did I catch it right? I gon say it’s Boonie; sounds like it… Here he iz on tha 3rd verse and it’s pretty nice; iz he still locked up? LOL, as soon as I wrote, “Lil’ Boonie,” on tha feature, here, he said his name; you know!! Can’t wait ta kick it wit y’all, one day!! And, he confirmed: “Z-Man on this track;” dope!! Great collaboration, once again; y’all definitely did a nice job!! Oh, and tha beat tag at tha end gave it away, too… My Rating: 4.7

16. “Livin’ That Life”
Yeah! AD Future beat… >>> Sounds like a nice vibe, here; a lil’ slower than tha usual vibe, which makes me take more interest, for tha moment… Tha hook sounds pretty good, here… Here you are on tha 1st verse, jumpin’ “off tha porch at 15;” nice. You doin’ a nice job wit tha 1st verse, here; keep this shit goin’! Got you on tha 2nd verse, here, “certified hard hitta;” you know!! My Rating: 4.3

17. “On My Mind”
Yup… Koon On Da Beat beat… >>> Definitely a nice beat start with a random voice that sounds familiar in tha background, here… Even though this sounds nice, this tha kinda shit that kinda poisoned tha rap game, fa me (“money”-obsessed shit). I got robbed twice from BR artists; after November 17, 2011, it was a wrap fa “money” shit, fa’real! I feel like I got raped or somethin’, but don’t care now ‘cause I’m a big, walking middle finga ‘cause of gettin’ taken advantage of! Anyway, you got a good 1st verse, here; it ain’t that bad, despite this content… Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty good, too. Props on havin’ a lotta valuables, at least… My Rating: 4.1

Overall: Other than #8, I really enjoyed this CD a whole lot!! You had your Jiggalaters family on here and tha production was definitely A+ and pure, as always!! You really doin’ a great job wit keepin’ dat pure jigg sound alive fa tha 225!! Fuck what all these otha dickridin’ dudes thinkin’ about dick-suckin’ Mista Cain and all dat! Bein’ a music leader and all dat, I’ve always showed luv to those that don’t get a super-crazy amount of recognition. Mista may be undaground and all dat, but there’s way too much attention on him, which makes me have a lower chance of puttin’ my attention toward him; he’s got others! Anyway, don’t listen to what people wanna criticize you for! You’re 12 ½ years younger than tha chick I get high, smoke & hang with, so think: You ain’t agin’ any time soon, D-So!! Keep up tha great work!! I’ono what else ta say, but you definitely made me continue to embrace tha Baton Rouge sound, no matter what I’m goin’ through!!
