Review #1,739: $hop With Ken "Platinum Status (Hosted by DJ Dow Jones)"

Reviewed on 7.07.2017 (Review #1,739)

Not that often do I get tha time, especially durin’ tha middle of editin’ a documentary, that I can get a CD on its release date & review it in tha same day. Lucky for Baton Rouge producer/rapper, $hop With Ken, here’s that moment! Courtesy of Forever Young Entertainment, here goes my review for his brand-new release, Platinum Status, entirely produced by Ken, himself! I have to say, I’m diggin’ tha front cover; reminds me of tha ‘90s Cash Money/Pixel graphic covers! Start Time: 6:48 PM | End Time: 7:34 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> “ iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> “ iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

© 2017 CD Review (Review #1,739) reviewed on 7.07.2017 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. Lil’ Phat “Intro”
… >>> DJ Dow Jones on tha hostin’, here… Got Phat comin’ through on tha verse, here, soundin’ like some of that great music from tha Rouge, as always… My Rating: 4.2

02. C-Loc feat. Max Minelli “Can’t Be Both”
No Track #2 but goes right into #3? Just gonna consider this one #2, tho… >>> Sounds good ta hear Loc on a beat by you, Ken…; catchy lil’ hook… Just regular rappin’, here, but I like tha beat more than Loc on here, tho… I’m glad he got shit on lock, still, without agin’… Hearin’ Max on tha 2nd verse and it sounds good; nice job wit this shit, as always… Anotha dude that consistently brings tha heat without droppin’ like a fly! My Rating: 4.3

03. Lil’ Soulja Slim & Kidd Kidd “My Comitty”
504 in tha buildin’, here… >>> Sounds like a nice lil’ “[Cutthroat] Comitty”-like vibe, here, wit tha hook and you on tha beat, Ken… Hearin’ tha 1st verse from tha Lil’ Soulja and it’s soundin’ nice ta hear, str8 from tha 5-0-4… Keepin’ it movin’ wit Kidd on tha 2nd verse, holdin’ it down, too… Overall, just a nice, regular-soundin’ joint, right chea… My Rating: 4.0

04. TY feat. Hot Boy Turk “‘Bout Whatever”
>>> This has more of a Cash Money feel to it and I’m likin’ it a lil’ betta than tha Lil’ Soulja Slim track… Hearin’ tha 1st verse from TY and it’s pretty nice; definitely feelin’ this vibe… Hearin’ tha hook and yeah, just luvin’ tha Cash Money vibe, once again! It’s almost as if Cash Money was an undaground secret, again, str8 from tha Internet! Keepin’ it movin’ wit Turk on tha 2nd verse, doin’ his thang, too; can’t deny it! My Rating: 4.3

05. Pat-Pat “T-Off”
>>> I like that intro from you, Ken… Hearin’ tha beat and it sounds pretty dope, so far; can’t wait ta hear…! Tha hook’s pretty tight, here, wit how dude reppin’ fa all these hoodz and shit… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds like dude holdin’ shit down; for tha streetz! Sounds like a different dude on tha 2nd verse, here? Two different voices? Either way, pure Baton Rouge, undaground music at its finest, here…! Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and it sounds more like dude on tha 1st verse, here… Needless to say, it sounds nice, of course… My Rating: 4.4

06. $hop With Ken feat. Pat-Pat “Playin’ Wit”
Lookin’ forward to hearin’ you as tha main artist! Also, my next Louisiana trip, I gotta try and link up witchu, this time! >>> I already really like tha start wit tha beat, here… Hearin’ tha hook and it sounds less pure than tha beat intro but still sounds like a nice lil’ track fa tha undaground… Hearin’ tha 1st verse from Pat-Pat and it sounds off-beat, smh… Aight but damn, tha disappointments are gettin’ in tha way from a great intro… Talkin’ toward tha end, here… I’ono, I ain’t hear much Ken? I’ono, but this ain’t really go down like I wanted it to… My Rating: 3.2

07. Scotty Corlone & YB “Get It In”
>>> Sounds like a good verse, here, wit how Scotty be comin’ through… Nice lil’ hook from YB; a quick listen, here? I like that hook… My Rating: 4.1

08. $hop With Ken feat. Bossman JD “Favorite One”
>>> A slower track, here; sounds like a catchy hook… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s decent, here, holdin’ down this nice track by you, Ken… Tha rest of this nice but I can’t tell when it’s your voice, Ken… My Rating: 3.9

½time: A 4.1-rated CD, so far; nice shit, I guess? Diggin’ most of it…

09. $hop With Ken & YB “Yungin Fasho”
Familiar? >>> Sounds like a nice lil’ intro… Guess this your 2017 voice on tha 1st verse, Ken ‘cause I know what YB’s voice iz… Oh wait, I know this one; my mind somewhere else, lol… I don’t feel like lookin’ but nice job wit you on tha 1st verse, here… Also, a lil’ betta wit tha hook from YB and how he picks tha track up… My Rating: 4.3

10. $hop With Ken feat. Jus Dillon “Both Sides”
>>> A nice lil’ slow track, here… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s decent; not too crazy about these real-life lyrics fa this slow-ride track… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s kinda ehh… Tha “if I die before I…” and “get ya paper up” shit’s ehh fa me… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s a lil’ betta but still a lil’ random fa this kinda beat… My Rating: 3.4

11. Racked-Up Ready “Goonin’ Out Of Foreign”
Str8 from tha gravez… >>> Sounds like a catchy lil’ hook from Ready, as well as tha hook… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and I recognize tha dude on tha 1st verse’s voice but I can’t think of who it iz… Sounds like a decent lil’ verse; kinda cocky and tha “money” shit’s startin’ ta make me feel like, bleh… Hearin’ Ready on tha 2nd verse and it sounds good, here… My Rating: 4.1

12. WNC Whop Bezzy “Don’t Start Me”
Randomly met him tha night of my birthday, despite barely knowin’ him… >>> Sounds good wit tha hyped-up vibe, here; good shit… Lol @ “shoulderless;” Frankabulary! Definitely feelin’ this club vibe; reminds me of tha night of June 21 @ tha Bella Noche! My Rating: 4.2

13. YB feat. King Joe “Get Up & Go Get It”
No King Joe on tha feature? *Listens* He’s there; smh @ not givin’ him credit! Don’t he mean somethin’ ta y’all? My Current Rating: 4.4

14. Lit BlueBlack feat. Youngster & Blac Youngsta “No Evidence”
I’ono about tha mainstream collaboration… >>> I’m likin’ how this sounds; great beat & hyped-up hook! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds pretty upbeat; good shit! Dat Baton Rouge street shit’s on tha 2nd verse, here, strictly holdin’ it down! Definitely feelin’ all dat aggression! And, tha 3rd verse sounds a lil’ too fast wit tha rappin’? Runnin’ circles through my head? My Rating: 4.3

15. $hop With Ken feat. JB & King Joe “Rocket”
Now, there’s King Joe on tha feature… >>> Nice lil’ hook, here, strictly bein’ hit wit da “rocket!” Hearin’ tha 1st verse and there’s a lotta energy in this verse, right chea! Good shit from tha JB dude, here, strictly holdin’ it down! I like how he plays with Juvenile’s “Back That Azz Up”’s “yeah” shit… And, we got King Joe comin’ through on tha 2nd verse, here, consistently doin’ tha damn thang on tha track! Definitely a dope collaboration, here; top-rated, surprisingly? My Rating: 4.5

16. $hop With Ken feat. VC & CLUB “Head Bust”
Ending with… >>> Nice lil’ upbeat beat ta jam to, but to also sound nice fa tha streetz… Feelin’ tha hook, here, strictly bustin’ dem headz! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ nice from this VC dude… Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha dude on tha 2nd verse, here, soundin’ a lil’ more street wit this voice, right chea… Definitely feelin’ how it’s upbeat, here… Soundin’ pretty consistent at 1:56, here! Lots of “eye”-soundin’ rhymes, here! Reminds me of tha ‘90s baby version of Percy Keith? We shall see what kinda future he gon have! And, tha 3rd verse’s soundin’ nice ta hear, here, with its street content… My Rating: 4.2

Overall: Sounds like a CD that gon feed tha streetz of BR fa a minute… Shout out to tha newbies I barely/neva heard, before! I see a future with some of these peeps/this CD; good job, Ken! Definitely one of tha best on tha beats, these dayz!

Review #1,738: Young Carter "A Dog Wit No Collar"

Reviewed on 7.03.2017 (Review #1,738)

Just got a CD in tha mail… Met this dude last Sunday right near my hotel, in Baton Rouge, LA: Young Carter, str8 outta Simmesport, LA, A Dog Wit No Collar, released on Lilskeet Entertainment! Can’t wait ta hear! Been fuckin’ wit Carter since tha beginning of 2012, when Morganza, LA rapper, P.I.R., let me know more about him… That time, during tha release of his “Strictly ‘Bout Paper” track, it was with Legal Dope Records. I later got connected wit him. Now, five years later, we got this release! Can’t wait ta hear! Hope Carter continues to do his thang at all times! Tha 1982 – 1984 babies are my leaders!! Start Time: 3:03 PM | End Time: 4:09 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! 01. Intro
Carter doin’ tha damn thang, here! Let’s begin this shit! >>> Feelin’ tha intro, here, wit your dogs barkin’… Feels aggressive; can’t wait to hear tha new music! My Rating: N/A

02. “Dog Wit No Collar”
Let’s get it! I feel supa-excited, in a special way! >>> I’m feelin’ what you got goin’ on ova this beat, right chea! Tha hook’s definitely nice fa tha streetz and err-where, ya dig? When tha background voice says, “I’m a dog wit no collar,” I’m thinkin’ it’s Master P or somethin’, lol… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it’s pretty nice wit what you bringin’ to tha table, here… So much for a one-hit-wonder from five years ago; what a comeback! Glad I got to meet up witchu in tha Rouge, just eight dayz ago! Definitely some great shit you be spittin’ on this track, right chea! And, you keepin’ shit goin’ fa tha 2nd verse, right chea! I hope there are people out there that look up to you like a leader, a legend, a great, especially fa tha future! You gotta be someone’s favorite! Definitely a catchy-ass lil’ single and only tha second official track I done heard from you! My Rating: 4.8

03. “Hustle” feat. C-T.H.U.G. & Gator
Looks like a dope lil’ collab, here; can’t wait ta hear! >>> Definitely feelin’ tha beat start, right chea! Hearin’ what you bringin’ on tha hook and it’s definitely tight! Glad you keep up your “hustle!” “Rain, sleet, or snow,” you already know how you comin’ through wit it! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s pretty dope, here! C-Thug tha T.H.U.G., right chea! Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ dope, too! Great lil’ collab, tha southern way! It’s all about bein’ “out [yo] mind” and “retawded,” ya dig? And, saved you fa last, right chea, on tha 3rd verse, strictly stayin’ focused! I may’ve only met up witchu tha one day but can only imagine kickin’ it witchu for an hour or so, one day. Prolly gon be a good experience; gotta be in a great zone! Props fa always stayin’ focused and doin’ ya thang! My Rating: 4.5

04. “So Many Lies” feat. Eddie B
Let’s see what y’all gon bring to tha table, right chea… >>> Kinda diggin’ how this sounds… Kinda diggin’ this Eddie B singer on tha hook wit this beat… Good shit goin’ on throughout tha 1st verse from Carter, here… Glad you always treat yourself and hold yaself down! That’s what makes a good artist like you survive in this game, ya dig? Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ nice, just holdin’ shit down… Just luv your hustle and how you have quality in these tracks! That just makes me randomly think, like, “What happened to your 2012 upcoming release, Strictly ‘Bout The Paper, tha album?” Regardless, we got you now, live in effect!! Hearin’ tha last 41 seconds and it’s a beat outro; good shit… My Rating: 4.3

05. “Out My Body”
Solo Carter, here… >>> Definitely likin’ tha start a whole lot wit this production! Glad you got tha pureness! Luv how this came in tha mail while I was high (first CD to eva come in tha mail while I was in my zone?) and that’s how I’m reviewin’ it, right nah! Definitely feelin’ tha hook and just luv how you be gettin’ fucked up! Oh, we gotta have ourselves a gettin’-fucked-up night, ya dig? Hearin’ tha 1st verse and I’m definitely feelin’ err-thang you be on, ya dig? You got tha big birthday next month; go turn up fa ya boy!! Great job wit what you bringin’ to tha track, right chea! Louisiana got dat gumbo!! Luv what you bringin’ to tha table on tha 2nd verse, right chea! Lol, “I’m on dat Budweiser;” sounds funny ‘cause of my family drankin’ that… That was tha 1st thang I done seen, lol… Great shit, of course! Gotta luv tha more you “out [yo] body!” My Rating: 4.7

06. “Bars For Days”
Which “bars,” lol, lol, lol?!? >>> Only 1:44 on tha length? Feelin’ tha near-instant start… And, as far as these “bars” (rhymes), I’m definitely likin’ how you sound on tha hook (“I got bars for days…!”); good shit! Hearin’ you on tha verse and you holdin’ shit down wit yo personality and grind; fuckin’ lovin’ it! Almost reminds me of Young Dolph’s voice, at times, lol… Just luv your grind; gotta “eat!” And, anotha hook; dumb shit! My Rating: 4.5

07. “Dope Man”
Gotta keep it movin’! >>> Anotha nice lil’ beat intro, here; good shit… Hearin’ tha hook and I’m still feelin’ tha grind to tha fullest! Lol @ tha “I got that Rolls Royce on tha block;” dope shit! Just gotta luv feelin’ like a celeb! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and you got shit goin’ on, right chea! You just know how ta be aggressive on tha tracks, but wit dat southern quality! Tha quality you gotta dig for, ya dig? So much ta offer throughout these “bars for days,” ya dig? My Rating: 4.3

½time: I think this a consistent-soundin’, quality-soundin’ release, right chea! You definitely keepin’ this golden, undaground music of Louisiana comin’ along wit your rhymes and your grind! A 4.5-rated CD, so far; let’s continue this, right chea!

08. “City Lights” feat. Triv P, C-T.H.U.G. & Eddie B
Keepin’ it movin’… >>> Sounds like a decent lil’ track, here… Damn, it’s 6:12! Hmm… Tha hook ain’t too bad and you on tha 1st verse’s not too bad… Sounds like you got this relaxin’ music on lock, right chea… Not just a relaxin’ mood but a celeb-like vibe, too, wit what you spittin’ ‘bout tha “paint” and err-thang else… Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ like a faster flow but at tha same time, it just decent… I don’t see too much ear-catchiness wit tha verse but it iz what it iz, I guess? And, we continuin’ wit tha 3rd verse, right chea, soundin’ a lil’ betta wit this grind… Feelin’ tha slightly-aggressive voice, here… My Rating: 3.6

09. “What’s Beef”
Bring it on…! It’s turk…ey! Lol! >>> I have a feelin’ I might fuck wit this, even tho it sound a lil’ like a mainstream-like beat start? Yeah, kinda mainstream but I’m definitely feeli’n what you spittin’ in tha hook (“What’s beef (what’s beef?)? It’s strictly for dinner…” “What’s beef (what’s beef?)? It’s tha shit that I eat!”)! Carter runnin’ thangz!! Hearin’ tha 1st verse wit what you bringin’ and it good… More on tha decent, mainstream-type level vs. tha undaground, Louisiana-type level… Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2nd verse, right chea… Just gotta feel how you keepin’ tha “bars” comin’… “fa dayz!” I think I’m feelin’ this a lot more, just thinkin’ ‘bout dat hook, lol! My Rating: 4.4

10. “Bad Intentions” (Young Carter & Komplexxx)
A collaboration together, I see? Let’s see, here… >>> Oh, I’m feelin’ this melodic intro or whateva you wanna call it… Lol, “my mind trippin’,” too ‘cause tha back cover spells “Intentions” right, vs. tha mp3 info on iTunes (“Intensions,” lol?)! But yeah, nice lil’ collaboration-like hook! Hearin’ tha 1st verse from Komplexxx and dude soundin’ dope, here, like tha “dope” he spittin’ about on tha track! Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse, right chea and it’s soundin’ nice wit “what [you] gotta do!” I’ono, it sounds like you can easily have fun, which iz a good thing… Hope you neva feel like you agin’! We need y’all!! My Rating: 4.2

11. “Hot Shit”
3:47 on tha length… Can’t wait to see what kinda “shit” this “hot” gon be, right chea!! >>> Hmm… Sounds like a lil’ bit of a mainstream vibe wit tha beat, so far… Glad you fuck wit “real-ass people,” ya dig? See, it can sound typical but your music has an extra punch to it, or somethin’… Nice job wit tha hook, wit your extra punch! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds like you got this shit on lock—your “parish!” I keep thinkin’ tha, “I spit hot shit, like it’s 100 degrees…,” line gon appear but it didn’t, lol… You got tha facts comin’ through on tha 2nd verse, right chea… Ooh, “104… degrees!” We been only peakin’ at, like, high 80’s up here in Northeast PA, tho… Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and you sound betta on here, no matter if you “ill” or not—sickness! Glad you be “fresh” and shit; that’s how I be, ya dig? You got dem “people,” all right! My Rating: 3.9

12. “Full Of That Shit” feat. Gator
Prolly woulda felt betta reviewin’ this one live but it’s all good… Needed to have a blind review, every now and then… Now, can’t wait ta hear this one wit this “shit,” as well, lol! >>> Sounds like it gon be an excitin’ anthem, right chea… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s pretty nice! An undaground thang: gotta get “full of that shit!” Hearin’ tha 1st verse and yeah, dat smell of bein’ “in yo pocket;” definitely dumb shit! Oh, tha brownies I ate, yesterday stunk tha bag up to where tha top of tha bag still smelt! Crazy shit! Gotta luv how you feelin’ great, smellin’ great, too, ya dig? When I say, “Great,” I’m talkin’ ‘bout dat green! And, we got Gator on tha 2nd verse, here, feelin’ “lit,” so that’s what’s up, lol… Gotta luv livin’ it up wit y’all; y’all strictly hold it down at all times, ya dig? My Rating: 4.4

13. “Bend Ova” feat. C-T.H.U.G. & Enostar
Let’s see what we got, right chea… >>> Sounds like an interestin’ lil’ slow track, right chea… Tha hook’s a lil’ smooth wit this singin’…; not too bad… Like how you’re on your sex shit wit this one… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds like a nice lil’ vibe, right chea… Definitely nice wit what tha T.H.U.G. bringin’ to tha table, in a chillaxin’ way… Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse, right chea & it’s dope; luvin’ your vibe! Hope you neva quit! I gotta hold ya down at all times! My Rating: 4.0

14. “I Miss U”
Let’s see what this gon sound like, followin’ tha previous track… >>> A lil’ more upbeat… A dedication to your “pops,” right chea… I have to say, tha upbeat vibe makes this sound nice, at least… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ nice ta hear, at least… Sounds like someone uncredited singin’ on tha hook, here… Not too bad, overall; betta than most dedication tracks, ya dig? That sux wit err-thang that happened wit your “dad” on tha 2nd verse, here… It’s like how it was when my brother died… His was an overdose in my studio room! That’s why I’m tha fearless dude I am today, ya dig? Nothin’ stops me from anythang! And, a 3rd verse, right chea, strictly holdin’ it down… Still luv that you tha cool dude you always gon be, ya dig? You don’t let anythang stop you from usin’ your talent! My Rating: 3.7

15. Outro
And, here’s an outro…! >>> Ooh, sounds nice wit tha dude checkin’ on you, Carter! And, got your music in tha background! That “Dog Wit No Collar”; gotta luv ya! Pretty vicious, right chea! Gotta luv tha lil’ spot you in, on tha front cover! Looks like my cousin’s treehouse…! My Rating: N/A

Overall: Excellent job, Carter! Nothin’ but dat quality to tha table, right chea! Them 1982 babies got shit on lock! As long as they stay focused about grindin’ and not quittin’ like one I know, then they good! So glad you got to this point where you released a CD! Hope you keep plenty more comin’!

Review #1,737: Bubba "In Too Deep EP"

Reviewed on 7.02.2017 (Review #1,737)

As my dreams were comin’ true, earlier from June 21 – 26, 2017 (Louisiana Trip #02), they got better, each time! Got to meet up wit Bubba from Big Stacks Entertainment, now forming tha Money Train Gang, also with Money Train Gang Entertainment… And, with tha lil’ release, In Too Deep EP, courtesy of Bubba & a Money Train Gang shirt! Lol, I done left one of my tripod pieces in Bubba’s truck! A Lucky Dog item left in tha Rouge, lol!! Royal treasure, right there!! Bubba’s greatest treasure, at tha moment, lol! Can’t wait ta hear this off dem edibles!! Start Time: 9:31 PM | End Time: 10:12 PM

01. “Father Forgive Me”
Kickin’ it off like this…, produced by EQ… Howey gon debut dem Money Train Gang boyz, lol?! Notice I said, “Howey,” ta give this a good flow wit one of my connects, who finna be 50! My favorite chick I shmoke with!! >>> Nice lil’ long intro from EQ, here; definitely nice! “I wake up in tha morning, smoke a blunt…;” fuckin’ nice! And, “take a shit,” Bubb? Definitely nice! And, I’m definitely agreein’ wit what you sayin’, here! You did have shit on-n-poppin’ “befo this Insta shit!” Definitely luvin’ tha consistency of what you bringin’ to tha table, here! Influential music fa me, here! Makes me live like tha celeb I am today!! Oh, I think I might rememba you givin’ me a sample of this, too? I feel like each Louisiana CD I’m listenin’ to, I feel like if I was in tha whip or studio, I done heard somethin’. Lol, just a perspective, lol! I just remember tha “fo baby mamas” part, which iz funny ‘cause tha Howey I was talkin’ ‘bout had “fo baby [daddies];” trippiness, Bubb!! Also, I like how you recycled “I’ma Hustle” on tha 2nd verse, too! Great flow, great err-thang!! Just luv tha whole entire track! Made me feel real special!! My Rating: 4.9

02. “Wasn’t Fa My Hustle” feat. 38 Slim & Ian EFX
Anotha EQ production; can’t wait, once again! Let’s keep this pure music comin’ along!! >>> Sounds nice and upbeat fa what EQ bringin’ to tha table, here… And, here you are on tha hook, soundin’ pretty dope! Gotta luv tha motivational music you bringin’ to tha table, here! Definitely feelin’ your “hustle” and it creates my “hustle!” Good shit goin’ on throughout tha 1st verse! “Always been a go-getter;” right? That’s what I am… Hope you neva quit tha biz! Keep tha hot shit comin’ along!! And, tha 2nd verse’s pretty dope, here! Gotta luv how 38 bringin’ it to tha table, here! I passed “N 38th St.” while I was in Baton Rouge, last week… Definitely catchy shit to tha fullest! Can’t imagine what Ian gon bring to tha table! Legendary! I gotta hit my boy up right nah & let him know I gotta link up wit him, next time I touch down! Feelin’ tha rhymes he bringin’, especially wit tha “subtract and divide” shit? Fuckin’ luvin’ this shit!! “Don’t help me wit tha groceries” part toward tha end of tha verse was pretty pure! Just really feelin’ this in a major way, of course! My Rating: 4.8

03. “Back Stabbers”
Blue Billlz (three “L”’s) on tha beat, here… I have a feelin’ I know where dis goin’… >>> I feel like it’s over-sampled… However, I like how it sounds pretty slowed down, in a trap way, on tha hook… And, after tha hook, I love how you have a lil’ intro to tha verse, here! And, at 1:13, we got tha 1st verse, here, as you’re deliverin’ tha rhymes, here… It’s like, real life, real shit! Props fa bein’ that leader to lay down life at its finest, right chea! This how we livin’ in 2017! Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2nd verse, here, layin’ it down in this back-stabbin’ world we livin’ in! I have to say, you made this sound pretty nice; can’t hate on it…! My Rating: 4.3

04. “Like It’s Legal” feat. Spitta & C-Loc
NuNu James did this track… Leggo!! >>> Sounds like a dope lil’ beat, here; definitely anticipatin’ tha track! Definitely feelin’ tha hook from Spitta, here! Definitely holdin’ it down like kingz, here! Glad y’all connected wit each other, ya dig? Hearin’ tha 1st verse from Loc and he got shit on lock, here, neva agin’ in this game (like me)! Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2nd verse from Spitta, here, keepin’ shit movin’… An unstoppable dude, right chea; glad he keepin’ tha quality goin’! Constantly goin’ and goin’, here; gotta feel his aggression!! “Fuck” err-thang!! And, not sure how I was gon act, but I seen about seven gunz while I was in BR on my last trip; crazy! But, even crazier, Bubba on tha 3rd verse, strictly, consistently comin’ through wi it! Just luv what you bringin’, Bubb! Just deliverin’ that real shit that only us celebz live with!! Gotta luv it!! My Rating: 4.7

½time: Dat pure heat!! Gotta luv it, Bubba!! A 4.7-rated CD, here; glad you keepin’ tha music comin’!!

05. “Million Dollar Trap Spot”
Gotta dig tha title ‘cause not only do you think I’m a “future millionaire,” but havin’ DJ B-Real on tha beat, here, makes me feel like he a millionaire, as well! Can’t wait ta hear dis one! Oh, there’ll only be one Baton Rouge and that’s Baton Rouge, Louisiana!! >>> Crazy-ass, sick-ass beat intro from Mr. B-Real, here! Of course, gotta enjoy this shit while on edibles! Tha hook sounds pretty dope, here, as you’re holdin’ tha success down in your “small circle,” ya dig? I’ono what it iz, but everytime I’m on edibles, listenin’ to a B-Real track, I feel like I get random rushes to my head, as if I’m dozin’ off… Happened to me earlier on January 15 when I was listenin’ to his “Make A Change” collab wit Tazz… Tha edibles were kickin’ my head’s ass and I randomly hallucinated, lol! Tha 1st verse’s definitely nice wit what you got goin’ on, here, Bubb! Just strictly tellin’ it like it iz! Glad you don’t stop livin’ tha celeb life!! Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2nd verse, here, and you really holdin’ tha consistent rappin’ down! Glad you don’t stop buildin’ your success! My Rating: 4.7

06. “3hree 5s & 7s”
Lil’ G on this track… Only six tracks on tha CD, itself, lol? >>> Definitely feelin’ tha vibe, of course… You got this shit on lock, here; nice job, Bubb! Tha hook’s catchy as hell! Funny that tha title has “3hree” and “7s;” oh, that birthday of one of my favorite people that can drive me crazy up here, lol! I feel like they always be hauntin’ me on these reviewz, throughout life, etc., lol! “Life iz a [her name] and then, you die!” It’s not a bitch, anymore, lol! With that bein’ said, Bubb, here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit dat successful-type shit; definitely lovin’ it! Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2nd verse, here, doin’ ya thang, of course…! Like how you said, “Dat purple retawded!” Bubb, you—yeah, “[We] smell [ya]!” Yeah, you got shit on lockdown at all times, ya dig? My Rating: 4.6

07. “Don’t Worry ‘Bout Me”
Well, this and tha last one aren’t on tha CD, itself, so I’ono know this title/producer till I hear it, I guess? >>> Had a feelin’ it was gon be EQ on tha beat ‘cause tha intro sounded similar to “I’ma Hustle”, in a way… Well, figurin’ that it samples The Roots & Erykah Badu’s “You Got Me”, we can call it anything we want, from that sample? Maybe, “Don’t Worry ‘Bout Me”? Definitely dope, here, between tha sample and tha kick-ass beat! Luv what you bringin’ to tha 1st verse, too; definitely what you gotta go through in tha life of a Bubb! Tha Bubb…a…!! Almost thought it was gon be a featured dude on tha 2nd verse, fa a sec… And, dope lil’ part about “Goin’ from 100 to 80 to a pure bitch;” exactly what just happened to tha friends I hung out with, all year! Ugh!! Tha celeb (me) moves on…! Yeah, you right about tha message and how they “change.” And, I see your success; I cherish it! I know I gon give you some of mine when I keep climbin’!! My Rating: 4.8

08. “Love & Relationships”
Goin’ right inta dis… >>> Sounds like it gon be a nice lil’ wedding-like night out, or somethin’, wit how this beat sounds? Then again, it’s anotha celeb feelin’… “Love & Relationships”? Leggo… Good shit wit what you bringin’ to tha table on tha 1st verse, here… A lil’ talkin’ throughout tha hook, here… Lol, you regrettin’ all tha “relationships” and shit like dat? Crazy… Crazy that I, like, ain’t step too far and have been able to hold off ‘cause I wanna keep focusin’ on my career… Lol, nice job wit tha 2nd verse and tha lifestyle of Bubba! Even got a 3rd verse, too, doin’ ya thang on this… My Rating: 4.0

Overall: Nice job, Bubb!! Excellent job! So glad you not only keep tha music up, but keep up tha quality, tha motivation to continue livin’ like a celeb & more! Glad I got you as one of my top inspirations! Keep up tha grind/tha great work, my boy!!
