Review #1,503: Supa Macked Out "Supa Hits Vol. 2 (Hosted by DJ Tremon)"

Reviewed on 6.29.2016 (Review #1,503)

It’s about time I take a second ta think, after all tha bullshit goin’ on at my job!! Gonna do a review, right quick: Macked Out Music’s Supa Macked Out Supa Hits Vol. 2 (Hosted by DJ Tremon); let’s get it! Start Time: 7:18 PM | End Time: 8:00 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

01. “Intro”
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!! Exactly what I’m talkin’ ‘bout!!! Tha length, 3:07, iz tha person that’s driving me INSANE at my job’s birthday length!!! What a way ta start!! I honestly don’t know who can stay sober when dealin’ with that fuckin’ bitch!! She so jealous of me ‘cause I get ta have overtime & I don’t get tired, like Kevin Gates! She just down-right ugly, insecure, a bitch, jealous, mean & always uses her past to make people feel sorry for her! Well, I got it out tha mud with my autism; I live fa now!! >>> Beat sounds pretty nice and tha verse’s soundin’ so-so; I’m diggin’ it… “Down Bad, my younger dayz;” I still feel like it’s those dayz, sometimes. Like, I feel it in tha age, but I feel wiser… “My first blunt was do-do;” nice! Shout out ta my boy, Doe-Doe; Baton Rouge got tons of classic rappers!! My Rating: 3.9

02. “Do My Thang” feat. Piz Corleone
>>> Hearin’ tha Dosha Burna Beatz beat (Piz Corleone) & it reminds me of when I was more serious about Louisiana and all that! I need that feelin’ back and this iz a perfect example of it! Feels like I’ve been away from work fa a while, even though I work six dayz a week! Hook’s definitely catchy as hell; nice job, Supa! Tha 1st verse ain’t too bad, here; gotta represent… Featured dude on tha 2nd verse? Iz dat Piz, himself? Sounds like it… Hmm, should I give credit on tha feature? I’ll take a chance… He sounds—aight, he said, “Corleone;” got it! Anyway, he sounds catchy on tha verse; definitely a nice collab! I’ll just call him “Piz Corleone” as a feature but “Dosha Burna Beatz” as a producer… My Rating: 4.3

03. “Big Dog” feat. Lee Banks
>>> Anotha nice beat, here; sounds more like a street anthem, based off tha sounds… You still sound catchy on tha hook; gotta luv your anthems! Yeah, definitely one of tha “big dog” rappers, fa’real! At tha moment, it’s a rumor, but, who knows, I may have some classic mixtape compilations comin’ out! It’ll be dedicated ta ‘80s babies, if it’s true! A few separate mixtape compilations: ’80/’81 babies, ’82/’83/’84 babies, ’85/’86/’87 babies & ’88/’89 babies; will it happen? We’ll see… But, nice job on tha 1st verse! Sounds like Lee goin’ hard, consistently, on tha 2nd verse; sounds great ta hear! Short verse, but tha appearance iz what’s up! My Rating: 4.3

04. “Roll Out” feat. Foxx
Happy Birthday ta Foxx, earlier, on Sunday, tha 26th! I’ll be in my 30’s in two years; we’re gettin’ up there!! >>> Already, anotha hot-soundin’ beat; let’s get it!! Got anotha Piz Corleone production goin’ on, here! You on tha 1st verse and it sounds like that classic pill-poppin’ music; gotta have it in ya life!! Tha hook’s real catchy with tha title repeatin’; gotta luv it!! Keepin’ it goin’, doin’ tha damn thang, as always…! Here’s Foxx, comin’ through wit good club shit, but I’ll give you more props fa soundin’ betta on this! Nice beat ending, here! My Rating: 4.2

05. “Don’t Get Enough”
>>> Beat sounds like your typical trap-rap music, but tha hook’s catchy… It’s all about dat good shit dat gets you high!! Tha 1st verse sounds nice, here… You still usin’ your old song quotes, here, with “So Whopped” & “Out Da Box”, lol. “I still drank and I still shmoke;” neva get too old fa it!! Nice job holdin’ tha 2nd verse down, here… And, a 3rd verse, here, comin’ through nicely… My Rating: 4.1

06. “To The Top” feat. OG
>>> Seems like Dosha Burna producin’ all these tracks? This one kinda sounds typical with tha trap-rap soundin’ and tha hook just about decent with this less-known dude on tha feature… Here you come on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some old, Flippa Boyz-type shit wit tha “I show my ass off” quote… I’ono, even your voice has a stupid, borderline-auto-tune sound to it; can’t say I’m feelin’ it that much… Tha 2nd verse from you kinda random with these rhymes… To me, all this “bitches” shit and how you sound about wantin’ a “milly” sounds like everyone else in tha mainstream… I’ono about that random ending from tha featured dude? Random… My Rating: 3.2

07. “She Gon Go”
>>> Almost thought it really was 50 Cent in tha beginning with tha, “Go shorty, it’s ya birthday,” shit in tha beginning… However, with tha hook, it definitely sounds catchy with this beat; classic-soundin’ Baton Rouge shit! I hope I live fa’eva so I can always hear a Louisiana song, lol! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and this sounds much catchier than tha previous song wit how you comin’ through wit tha club-type lyrics… LOL, sometimes, I think tha hook sayin’, “She on go,” but it’s, “She gon go,” lol… I honestly should start reviewin’ all these CDs while high, but I don’t like sittin’ and bein’ on tha computer while high, most of tha time… Tha 2nd verse sounds catchy as fuck, too! Oh, just like my boy, Doe-Doe, I just luv how you continuously say, “I get doe, doe, doe,” lol! Tha Doe-Doeness!! My Rating: 4.5

½time: Fa tha most part, I’m feelin’ this shit! You always have tha catchy tunes on lock, includin’ tha great, Baton Rouge-soundin’ production at all times!! Got a 4.1-rated CD on ya hands, so far; keep it up!

08. “Do It Again”
>>> “Stressed out;” who would’ve thought that’d be me? Just ‘cause DJ B-Real blocked me two years ago, I got a job & now, it’s so stressful every fuckin’ day!! Makin’ money can be so annoying, but it’s still money! Then again, I’d rather do this music shit behind tha scenes! Beat sounds laidback, here; rhymes ain’t too bad on tha 1st verse… Kinda not feelin’ tha auto-tuned voice on tha hook, but I think after a lil’ bit, I think I might accept it… Kinda likin’ how you singin’ tha title… I think this’ll be one of those tunes that’ll sound betta while you’re high… Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad, here; an okay track, overall… A long ending, here… And, anotha hook… My Rating: 3.8

09. “Bullshit”
>>> Sounds like an uncredited feature on tha hook, here; they sound aight. Tha hook sounds pretty catchy, to say tha least, with this beat… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and I’ono, I’ont fuck wit tha fatherhood shit, at tha moment & I’ve seen what it’s done ta artists. Then again, not bad fa tha short verse… Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad, here; a decent track… My Rating: 3.5

10. “Everyday” feat. OG
>>> Oh, Tremon, I can give you a list of those that “owe me money;” they so pussy! Then, they flashin’ a $1 bill in pics & shit, like, they broke!! With that bein’ said, I don’t really like tha content about makin’ “money everyday,” on tha hook, but tha beat’s pretty nice… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it must be this OG dude; not bad… LOL @ tha line, “Got my condoms & my guns up; that’s some good protection;” nice! Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse and it’s aight… Kinda a guilty pleasure ta like this “money” music, but I’ll be nice with tha rating, this time… My Rating: 3.7

11. “Broke Boy” feat. Lil’ Mike & Memphis Chill
>>> This kinda like tha last track, but this sounds pretty catchy; luv how you deliver tha hook/title ova this beat! Hearin’ Mike on tha 1st verse and, just like tha previous track, I’m not diggin’ this “money” content at all… Here you are on tha 2nd verse and it sounds like Boyz N Da Hood “Dem Boyz”, from 2005, with how you startin’ tha verse off… Still, it’s yada-yada with all these prices and thangz… Memphis Chill on tha 3rd verse… More “money” shit, here? Nothin’ special fa me… Sad ta like tha previous song betta than this ‘cause tha hook was pretty catchy fa me… My Rating: 3.0

12. “Droptop”
>>> Beat sounds catchy, as well as this hook… Tha 1st verse ain’t too bad with you on this; sounds jammin’, a lil’… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse from you and it’s decent, too; a decent track, overall… I ain’t got much ta say about this one; it’s okay, overall… My Rating: 3.4

Overall: Kinda became decent toward tha 2nd ½, but it still was nice ta review some newer music from you! Keep up tha grind, neva age & keep that Baton Rouge sound comin’!!
