A
lot goin’ through my mind, throughout tha week, as I continuously work… Been on
tha six-dayz-a-week stretch since January 2, and have no idea when I’m gettin’
off of it… Great money while it’s there, but this iz rough, continuously
workin’ all these dayz… Still, at this moment, I celebrate 10 years of
graduating high school today & my 1,500th CD review with this
comeback: C-Coop, who’s responsible
for 3rd Court Records! Back around ’09, Coop was arrested and did
seven years in jail! Now, he’s back and just released this not too long ago! He
hit me back when he got out, but with all that workin’ and short-handedness, I
couldn’t get to it right away… Now, droppin’ his Lost Coopology Files
mixtape, Coop’s releasin’ some of that older music from before jail and a lil’
bit after jail! Tampa, FL in tha buildin’ wit this one; only 500
reviewz till 2,000, lol! Start Time:
8:35 PM | End Time: 9:55 PM
Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0
– 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!
I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long
as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and
then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a
song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6
rating, I pretty much really love it,
as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I
hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type
before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything
after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening
to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or
talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

“Forgot About C-Coop”
I
neva did; always remembered tha August 3 birthday, too! A lil’ after this
coming birthday of yours’ll mark nine years that I first found you off of
MySpace, all ‘cause some1 who had dreads on their head at my 1st
college didn’t wanna be cool wit me. So, I needed to find some1 wit dreads that
was gon be cool wit me, at that time; glad it worked out! >>> Sounds
good for an intro beat and a 1st verse. LOL, tha 2nd
verse started wit your birthday, as I mentioned in tha preview, lol! Did I call
it, lol? Likin’ all tha “bruh” parts; reminds me of “Certified Goon” wit all
tha “bruh/dawg” parts, lol! Nice, classic Coop-styled rappin’, here… LOL, tha 3rd
verse sounds nice ta hear with tha “toilet” and “down my shit”-type shit; flush
it goes, lol! “Light a blunt;” I did that wit my crew almost two hours ago! You
know! Still, stupid hangout! For 1 ½ hours, I heard two couples argue non-stop,
did nothin’ & then, when a few of ‘em came back, I asked, “We rollin’ up?”
They were like, “You got tha money?” I’m like, “WTF?” Like, c’mon! I just sat
for ½ hours, dealt with two couples arguing and y’all wanted me to pay? Like,
y’all invited me ova! Oh, when them havin’ no job comes to kick they ass!! My Rating: 3.9
02.
“WarZone”
>>>
This sounds like a nice beat ta rap off of… Can’t believe you’re back! It feels
like I’m in ’07 / ’08 again, even though it’s ’16 & I graduated high school
10 years ago today! Hearin’ tha hook and it’s pretty catchy on this shit… Tha 1st
verse sounds nice ta vibe ta; glad ta hear ya again! Oh yeah, luv how this CD’s
length’s 1:20:01! Not only iz it my boy, Doe-Doe’s birthday (1:20), but there’s
one too many seconds for a CD’s length, lol? Tha 2nd verse sounds
good ta hear, too; you got this on lock fa tha Florida undaground! My Rating: 4.0

“Point ‘Em Out”
Eastwick
Da Problem on tha original production, here. I remembered when you released
your “first copywritten song” back on October 20, 2007: “Certified Goon”; from
there, it was on! I was like, “Oh, man, Coop makin’ moves!!” >>> Nice
and slow; glad you still got your G-shit on lock! Nice job on tha undaground
hook! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s laidback rappin’ wit gangsta
shit written all ova it; nice mix! Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad; all
tha different places gets me anticipated ta visit tha south, again! I’m not
tryna feel bored or anything, but it makes me feel like this joint’s takin’
fa’eva ta progress… Okay, “Fresh off a blunt;” maybe, that’s why I’m feelin’
like this goin’ slow, lol? Highs slow time, lol! My Rating: 3.7
>>>
Thought I recognized this Boosie shit goin’ on in tha hook… Aight, lemme just
get to you on tha 1st verse… Sounds nice ta hear; I’m feelin’ 50/50
about tha hook, though. Like, at times, I feel like keepin’ tha Boosie part
sounds nice, while I think that y’all could’ve came up wit y’all own hook… Tha
2nd verse ain’t too bad…, as you’re lettin’ out all tha bullshit
that invades a po-po-invaded life… My
Rating: 3.1
05.
“Ain’t I (Freestyle)” feat. Loose Cannon
I
recognize tha title from tha dayz of when you just got locked up… Wow, I was 20
back then, and am turnin’ 28 in only 15 dayz!! >>> Yeah, this sounds
betta witchu makin’ your own hook vs. usin’ tha original one, like tha
Boosie-sampled song. Also, nice collab; reminds me of hangin’ with black
people, in a great way. Overall, nice collab ova this beat from tha dayz of ’08
/ ’09… My Rating: 3.7
06.
“Bizzy Body” feat. Etha
Keepin’
tha ’09 freestyles & beats comin’ along, here… >>> Anotha
nice-soundin’ hook from tha ’09 beats; nice… Hearin’ tha 1st verse
and it sounds like, yeah, I get it; that was tha timez (“turn my swag on like
Soulja Boy”). Tha 2nd verse from Etha sounds nice, but great for an
unknown, undaground dude. Like, that’s tha kinda shit I wanna hear from a
random dude you come across, and I thought it flowed nicely. My Rating: 3.8
07.
“Paid” feat. Swidda G
Recognize
tha throwback feature… *Checks my iTunes library* And, I recognize tha track…
Here’s what I had to say eight years ago:
“What’s
tha guy in tha beginning (sounded like he said “it’s tha cool” or somethin’
like that)? That was tha same guy in tha beginning of “Fuck What Ya Heard”.
Anyway, it’s a nice beat wit a nice hook that just came in outta nowhere. I’m
glad “you’re makin’ so much money” and that you’d “slap a ma’fucka wit it.”
Nice 1st verse and great hook again. Now of course, Swidda G has
that fiya on this joint. He EASILY took ova this joint; what a REAL TIGHT VERSE
THAT WENT HARD!!! You had a great 3rd verse by tha way, Coop.
Easily, this went to Swidda G for tha best verse! I heard tha guy at tha end
again; iz he sayin’ “Mr. Coop”?”
To
add to this: Yeah, those were completely different dayz with how I’d quote a
“money” line and shit. You know
that’s my biggest pet peeve in tha music business, now! November 17, 2011:
Robbed (feelin’ like raped); after that, no more “money” rhymes fa me!! Rehearin’
and it sounds a lil’ betta than average, but tha rating gon go down from tha
4.4… My Current Rating: 4.0
08.
“On Tha Scene”
>>>
Diggin’ all tha “fresh” shit on tha hook; “swag” shit’s only decent fa me,
here, even though it’s usually below average. Bleh…, tha verses a lil’ boring
fa me, but your flow saves it, sometimes… My
Rating: 2.9
09.
“Day By Day” feat. B.B. & Lil’ Nasty
Let’s
see… >>> Different, calmer vibe with this hungry-soundin’ singin’ on
tha hook; not bad… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it ain’t bad; nothin’
special fa me… Hearin’ you rap on tha 2nd verse and it’s ehh…; not
too inta this joint… My Rating: 2.6
10.
“Dick Pleaser (Freestyle)” feat. Loose Cannon
>>>
Nothin’ much goin’ on here fa me… That Loose Cannon dude sound cocky on this,
tha cocky shit that I don’t fuck wit. Either way, it iz what it iz… My Rating: 2.5
11.
“Swag”
Eastwick
Da Problem on tha beat; a 2009 track that I got on April 6, 2009. Totally
forgot how it sounded; lemme give it its official review in 2016! >>> This
sounds much betta than tha previous song about “swag.” At this time, it was
2009 and tha way shit sounded sounded betta. Like, today, it would have tha
same kinda beat err-body would have, with that Future/trap sound. I know in ’09,
I said shit like, “Err-body auto-tune and swag.” Well, surprisingly, this sound
gets more of a plus… I’ono, just diggin’ tha way this sounds wit tha beat… Not
that crazy about your lyrics, here, but tha way you and tha beat sounds gets me
goin’… My Current Rating: 3.6
½time: Off to a decent start but
it’s gettin’ sour… Beats aren’t really tha greatest ta rap off of, at times,
but sometimes, tha lyrics and featured artists’ flows be waterin’ these jointz
down… Either way, Coop, you always got your flow goin’! A 3.5-rated CD, so far; let’s keep
it goin’…
>>>
Anotha song about “swag.” Ehh, tha hook’s whateva, even though this throwback
sound of tha Vybe beat’s gettin’ me in a better mood… Mz. E-Baby ain’t too bad
with tha 1st verse, but I mainly like her voice… You were not bad on
this; just below average fa me, here… My
Rating: 2.8
13.
“SomeMore” feat. DJ
>>> Almost thought a skit was goin’ on in tha intro, here… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it ain’t bad; nothin’ really sparkin’ fa me, here, though… Hearin’ DJ on tha 2nd verse and, ehh, a lotta “dick” rhymes, here, but nothin’ really special outta this verse, either. Sounds more like “yada-yada-ya-ya-yada…” ta me… You on tha 3rd verse and it’s kinda yada-yadaish… My Rating: 2.4
14.
“Set It Off” feat. Squad Up Click
>>>
Anotha song that’s only okay fa me. Tha featured artist sounds like white
rappers? Like, One-i from Louisiana?
Hammond, LA;
that’s what it reminds me of… Nice ’07 – ’09-type vibe in tha voice, but not
feelin’ it fa a collaboration… Ugh, tha 3rd verse continues wit more
of tha featured artist(s)!! My Rating: 1.3
15.
“Real Life Shit” feat. Loose Cannon
>>>
This sounds a lil’ betta wit Loose Cannon doin’ tha hook and 1st
verse; not bad fa an old school-soundin’ rap beat… Hearin’ you on tha 2nd
verse and it’s decent; feelin’ you betta than your features… My Rating: 3.5
16.
“Thru Ya Front Door”
Lil’
Dank doin’ production, here… >>> Tha transition from tha previous
joint ta this sounded nice… Hearin’ tha hook from you and I’m diggin’ tha G-shit…
Hearin’ tha original beat and yeah, even got a lil’ bit of a G-Funk sound to
it; nice! You did ya thang wit this one; not too bad… My Rating: 3.8
17.
“I’m Strap’d” feat. Swidda G
>>>
Collab sounds nice, as y’all goin’ back and forth. Beat ain’t really have
anythang poppin’ off… Tha vibe kinda cool and kinda decent, at tha same time…
Hearin’ your verse and it’s decent. I’ono, I’m not tryna sound bored or
anything, but a lot’s just decent fa me, here… My Rating: 3.4
18.
“Ride Fo Me” feat. B.B.
>>>
More of an effort, here, even though it’s only okay fa me… Likin’ how tha
singin’ on tha hook reminds me of music from tha early 2000’s or somethin’…
Here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit regular-soundin’
rhymes… And, tha 2nd verse’s flow’s nice, but I can’t really fuck
wit this sound… My Rating: 2.3
19.
“My Life”
>>>
Ain’t realize tha title, but now that I’m hearin’ tha beat/hook, like, ugh, I’m
gonna be put ta sleep!! I ain’t writin’ anything… Aight, here: “regular
rappin’!” My Rating: 1.0 (pretty much a skipped rating)
20.
“It’s My Time”
A
bonus track produced by Eastwick Da Problem, here… >>> Lyrics and this
beat, despite it bein’ an original, sounds plain for me… I still enjoy hearin’
you and your voice, though. Hearin’ tha 1st verse and even though
tha pace of tha flow’s boring, this shit sounds better than some of tha shit on
here… My Rating: 3.0
21.
“No Warnin’”
Stay
tuned fa Coopology 1: My Theory,
accordin’ ta tha ID, here! >>> Havin’ a lil’ more hope fa tha newer
track, here… Your voice sounds a lil’ less pitched? A tiny bit… Still, you have
a nice flow, still… This beat sounds kinda quiet, at times, but still sounds
nice… Without “warnin’,” there’s “no” hook… Likin’ tha “Lions, tigers, and
bears…” kinda remake flow, as you mentioned, “Goons, thugs, hustlaz…” My Rating: 3.7
22.
“No Problem” feat. Maro Deezy & Papi
Anotha
new one from tha upcomin’ Coopology 1: My
Theory! >>> Kinda random soundin’ on tha beginning, here, even
though I expect betta from today’s undaground… Hearin’ your part and, lol, it
went from “MySpace” ta “Snapchat.” Ehh, can’t really get inta this… My Rating: 2.7
Overall: I’ono what happened with
tha mood, but most of tha 2nd ½ was boring/below average fa me. I
think, as far as what you should work on, iz gettin’ better features. Also,
your flow’s still nice ta hear. I think you gotta keep tha more
underground/original-produced songs comin’, instead of rappin’ off other
peoples’ beats… I know you got newer shit comin’ up, so I’ll be tunin’ inta
that… Fa now, here’s what went down:
