On a non-stop grind here!! Got tha 1st review of tha day lined up already and it’s Jason Lyric “The Big Break (Hosted by C-Murder & DJ Ze11a)”! Let’s see how it goes… Start Time: 11:27 AM | End Time: 12:51 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Street Hop”
Production by DJ Ze11a on tha 1st track so let’s see what you gon offer me as far as your music… >>> DJ Ze11a on tha intro here too… Tha beat’s pretty cool/smooth fa what it iz… Flow’s a lil’ boring for me at first but tha lyrics sound pretty good. Tha hook sounds pretty catchy; feelin’ dat, at least… I agree wit tha 2nd verse: “Rest in peace ta Sporty T;” yes, sir! DJ Ze11a on tha outro too… My Rating: 3.8


02. “King”
2 Saint on tha beat this time? Interestin’… >>> Wait, this came first? This iz tha same as what The Recruits did wit tha “Dumb” song. Then again, I rememba readin’ somethin’ about this… I may like tha “Dumb” song betta but this has a cool hook; very interestin’… Tha 1st verse’s pretty cool; you holdin’ it down… Tha 2nd verse sounds betta on this; nice job wit keepin’ it consistent! Tha 3rd verse also was pretty hot… My Rating: 4.4

04. “Best Dressed” Feat. C-Murder
A Phunk Dawg beat here? Looks like dis gettin’ more anticipatin’… >>> Tha beat sounds pretty cool; very smooth and nice wit tha soundin’! Tha hook makes this sound like it could be a mainstream smash or somethin’… Sounds like you feelin’ like a #1 or somethin’ on tha 1st verse, lol… LOL, C-Murder’s on tha 2nd verse and it’s a lil’ soft for me… Tha 3rd verse iz just decent for me. Then again, I have a mainstream perspective for it anyway… I like how you ended tha verse; that sounded pretty tight… Nice lil’ DJ Ze11a ending here… My Rating: 4.0


05. “OGz”
Rodney Brown on tha beat here; let’s see what’s good… >>> Don’t like this soundin’ for tha beginning… Tha “real Rap” shit in tha beginning made me anticipation lower; I hate when people have that perspective. It’s like, just make good “Rap” music; no need ta say it… Tha 1st verse sounds pretty good; okay overall… A lil’ skit outta nowhere before tha 2nd verse… I don’t really like tha soundin’ of how tha 2nd verse comes out on dis beat although tha rhymin’ iz good… I feel tha same about tha 3rd verse as much as I did for tha 2nd verse… My Rating: 3.1


06. “Rap Lies” Feat. Twin
Niyo Ceaux Young did this beat (I think I rememba that name); let’s see what’s up wit dis one… >>> Okay, this iz betta wit tha production! Almost sounds like an upcomin’ Drake song or somethin’ wit tha production for some reason… Tha hook sounds catchy… Tha 1st verse sounds like some tight shit here! You’re on tha 2nd verse here and yea, “Everyone tryna sound like Lil’ Wizzy;” agreed. I can’t even tell tha difference between Pop, R&B & Rap music anymore, even down ta Southern Rap music (mainstream shit); everything sounds like it’s all family or somethin’. I rememba when it would be cheesy to team up wit Lady GaGa or somethin’ if it was tha Early 2000’s; now, it’s acceptable like it’s nothin’? Thumbs up to tha “I listen to Techno” or whateva it was at tha end of tha 2nd verse; I’ve been affiliated 10 years now, ya dig! Tha 3rd verse’s soundin’ good; consistent rhymes here… Oh, here’s tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse and tha both of y’all did gr8 on tha verses as a team, ya dig! My Rating: 4.2


07. “Like A Pimp”
Anotha Rodney Brown beat here? Not sure if this’ll be different? >>> C-Murder’s in tha beginning and it’s pretty good for tha check-in. Oh no, anotha soft beat… Then again, it might be catchy wit just tha hook wit tha “Dirt Off Your Shoulder” sample. I usually hate on Jay-Z samples but it sounds good this time… Okay, this iz back to tha boring sound on tha 1st verse… WTF? You said, “Real Rap,” on one of tha previous songs but you’re gonna go and use gay-ass A-Tune? I don’t think so! Even tha 2nd verse has it; shit! And, there’s 2:02 left on tha song!! This was originally gonna be like 3.2 wit me but now, I can just imagine how low I’ll rate it… HATE that “got game like Madden” shit; hear it too much!! Damn, I gotta sit here wit tha 3rd verse too? Damn, too cocky here too… My Rating: 1.4


08. “Ride With A G”
What Cas iz this? I know a rapper from BR but this must be a producer from tha NO… I don’t know if I’ll look forward afta dat last song! >>> Okay, this sounds a lil’ betta; catchy start. Good 1st verse, overall, and tha hook sounds catchy too… Tha 2nd verse has consistent “rhymes;” good job… My Rating: 4.1

10. “Dat’s How I Play It” Feat. Jahbo
Anotha Cas beat here; let’s see dis collaboration… >>> Wasn’t really anticipated at first but it sounds good wit your rappin’ on tha 1st verse… I like tha “Polo/Girbaud jeans” shit on tha hook; real shit! Tha singer on tha feature has a lil’ bit of singin’ but good thing it’s just a lil’ ‘cause it’s okay for a contribution… Tha 2nd verse sounds kinda yucky for me; not into all tha “make-it-rain” shit. Damn, tha singer came outta nowhere on tha 1st ½ of tha 3rd verse; that was unexpected in a not-so-good way for me. LOL @ you on tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse wit tha “my fit gotta match tha color of my car” line; dat’s kinda on tha high maintenance/high-expected tip… My Rating: 3.5

>>> Cas beat? I’ve heard this beat before and it’s funny that it’s back two years later… But, it sounds cool wit how you comin’ through on tha 1st verse… I thought there was a feature on tha 2nd verse for a second but it’s just you and it sounds pretty good… Tha 3rd verse’s okay; it’s kinda cocky for me… I like tha outro here… My Rating: 3.9


½time: So far, it’s pretty good although that stupid A-Tune song fucked thangz up a lil’ bit… Anyway, pretty decent 3.6 average CD rating so far, statistically…


13. “Money On My Mind” Feat. N.O. Capo
More Cas music here on tha production; let’s see… >>> DJ Ze11a on tha intro but I REALLY wanna skip this!! Can’t deal wit this gay-ass A-Tune again; it’s fuckin’ ’10!! Who uses dat shit still?!? Can’t even take this 1st verse serious at all since my mood iz now fucked… All this content iz typical and both of y’all can’t do a good job here… Tha 3rd verse has gay-soundin’ vocals and again wit dat “Madden” shit, smh… Could’ve been a good song but it was ruined… My Rating: 1.8


14. “Do Too” Feat. Caesar
Ike Turner beat? What’s up wit tha name, lol? >>> Betta sound here; sounds like it could be a good anthem… Then again, I’m not too crazy about this kinda content about just havin’ “hoes on your dick” or whateva but it’s a good song overall ‘cause it jams… Caesar’s on tha 2nd verse and again, not too crazy about this “make-it-rain” content… Although cool, he does sound a lil’ cocky… You’re on tha 3rd verse and it’s soundin’ tight this time; you’re nice and “hungry” for tha rappin’, lol! Although some of tha typical content kinda threw me off, this was more jammin’ than to just not like it! My Rating: 3.7


15. “Dirty Dance” Feat. Big Head
Non-updated info here as you put “Big Head of Trill Ent.”? He’s wit his own Out The Mud Ent. now, smh… Anyway, must be good wit a Phunk Dawg beat! >>> Sounds cool here; tha hook’s real catchy wit tha hot beat! Big Head’s on tha 1st verse and he’s just goin’ off on tha track; good shit from him! Very consistent on dem hoes, lol! Let’s see what you got on tha 2nd verse… ROFL @ how you comin’ through “dirty” on here (just like Big Head did)!! Nice job as you did tha damn thang!! My Rating: 4.4


16. “Keep It G” Feat. Nemvenom
Who’s this dude on tha feature? This time, it’s 5 Grand on tha beat so let’s see how good this’ll sound… >>> Good lil’ intro from C-Murder and tha beat sounds pretty good here. Tha 1st verse sounds good and consistent from you; good shit you spittin’! LMFAO @ tha hook; VERY HOT!!! Just emerged OUTTA NOWHERE!!! DEFINITELY “gangsta” and Nemvenom DEFINITELY has venom in his character!!! Tha 2nd verse sounds like you keepin’ this hot shit goin’ to tha fullest! Tha 3rd verse iz a lil’ on tha “I don’t make it rain; I keep it gangsta” tip but those last few songs were “make-it-rain” anthems, lol? My Rating: 4.7

Will V on tha beat here and Cas iz now featured; let’s see what’s good wit dis… >>> HOT beat here; good job on gettin’ tha production up once again!! Tha hook goes SUPA HARD!! Nice job here and tha 1st verse’s soundin’ pretty tight on this beat!! LOL @ tha “spit acid, not tha program you make tracks wit” line; dumb shit!! Tha 2nd verse iz nice and consistent here too; keepin’ tha hot shit goin’!! Tha 3rd verse sounds like there’s a reason why this collaboration iz here; it’s all about tha hotness!! LOL @ tha “G shit/toilet” part! My Rating: 4.5


19. “Satisfaction”
Now, back to Cas on tha beat here; lookin’ forward again! >>> Tha sample in tha beginning scares me a lil’… You do sound pretty good on tha 1st verse and tha beat can be pretty good wit it makin’ tha hook and sample sound good. However, I don’t consider this a Louisiana song at all; sounds more like a New York song… Tha 2nd verse’s pretty good; you keepin’ it comin’ wit tha rhymes!! Tha 3rd verse sounded pretty short but it got in there in time; pretty good shit here! My Rating: 4.1

Ben Rosen beat but I dunno how much I’ll look forward… >>> Actually, for some reason, a beat start like dis just gets me anticipated I guess ‘cause we’re focused in tha undaground… An okay soundin’ on tha 1st verse but you keep it goin’! Tha hook kinda doesn’t sound like I’d like it too much but it sounds pretty good wit how tha beat makes it have a good quality… Tha 2nd verse keeps this shit goin’… Tha 3rd verse’s pretty good also… My Rating: 3.9


22. “Fastlife” Feat. Jarro
Jarro on tha beat too… I thought this was that feature singer for a second… >>> Sounds like a carnival or somethin’ in tha beat, lol. Interestin’ and tha hook sounds pretty good wit tha featured dude on it. Sounds a lil’ like Magnolia Chop on tha 1st verse… Kinda thrown off by tha “A Milli” rhythm in tha beginning but let’s just keep it goin’… You’re on tha 2nd verse and it sounds like you’re keepin’ it consistent once again wit your pretty good rhymes for your pretty good songs… Jarro’s back on tha 3rd verse and it’s good once again. My Rating: 4.2

Shaye Scully on tha final beat here and yes, it’s a bonus song! >>> Sounds catchy on tha beginning here; tha beat makes this sound jammin’ too… Tha 1st verse kinda threw my anticipation off wit tha flow at first but I gon listen more… Tha rest of tha verses kept this shit catchy and that hook’s just somethin’ catchy wit how it sounds! My Rating: 4.0


Overall: Not bad; you’re pretty good wit what you do… Keep doin’ ya thang wit them hot tracks and undaground exposure!
