Review #1,309: Level "Club Banga King 2"

Reviewed on 8.28.2013 (Review #1,309)

Comin’ up next, I have a review for tha birthday boy, today: Formerly, with Easy Hustle Entertainment. Now, with Mayham Entertainment; here’s my review for Level Club Banga King 2!! Happy birthday…, whether you care or not. Wish I’d hear from you. Still waiting to see if you got my awards. You should not be M.I.A. like this… People who are dedicated usually get in touch wit dedicated people like me! And, as dedicated as I am on peoples’ birthdayz, I’ll even start this review at 8:28 PM, Level birthday time. No one’s like me, Level; rememba dat! Start Time: 8:28 PM | End Time: 9:39 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

© 2013 CD Review (Review #1,309) reviewed on 8.28.2013 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. Intro
Let’s hear it!! >>> Sounds good, but why “mixtape”? I consider this an ALBUM!! My Rating: N/A

02. “Let Us In” Feat. Juvenile & Lil’ Trill
You know how Juve do it!! >>> Ooh, G-Motivation on tha beat, here; sounds pretty anticipatin’! Glad Juve came “ta fuck wit you!” Definitely feelin’ tha hook; very addictive wit how you deliver tha title!! Here you are on tha 1st verse; kinda blah, blah, blah; yada, yada, yada, but I guess it serves its purpose fa this kinda club song… Juvenile on tha 2nd verse, here; how can a legend like him be last in tha ID? Sorry, Lil’ Trill, but you gotta move over! Juve sounds pretty nice, here; kinda feels like tha N.O. in B.R. wit tha way G-Motivation did this beat; great combo!! Now, Lil’ Trill on tha 3rd verse, here, wit his “rounds.” Startin’ ta sound a lil’ like a younger version of Mista Cain, here, but you can’t deny this… My Rating: 4.7

03. Bay Bay Speaks
>>> Good advice. But, now that 2013’s more than halfway over, things have been soundin’ really quiet, especially toward my way wit you; I don’t get it…? My Rating: N/A

04. “Level Rock”
LOL @ tha repeat!! My Current Rating: 3.7

05. “Get Out Tha Way” Feat. Kevin Gates
Looks anticipatin’…!! >>> Didn’t catch tha beat tag at first, if that’s what that was in tha beginning… Almost sounds like a Louisiana version of Sean P of tha YoungBloodZ on tha hook… Pretty catchy, and I heard a tag: It’s EQ Tha Misfit on tha beat! Pretty nice how it sounds, here; I know you luv EQ!! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse, and it sounds pretty nice… Damn, EQ did tha beat tag again? No need for a 2nd time… Got Gates on tha 2nd verse, here; a lil’ automatic wit tha positive rhymes, at first, but I feel when he be spittin’ ‘bout dem mollies! Great collab, once again! And, here you are on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit mo good shit ta hear! My Rating: 4.5

06. “Easy 2 Find” Feat. Lil’ Mista
>>> Mr. “T-Motor” a.k.a. G-Motivation on his grind fa you, Level; anotha beat, here, and it’s soundin’ jammin’ already! Not sure where I heard this from, but this iz very familiar from somewhere… My Current Rating: 4.7

07. “Swagga Back”
>>> Ooh, sounds like Loleatta Holloway screamin’ in tha background (like a sample or somethin’). Then again, not really into this; not sure why I’m commentin’ on this a-tune shit… But also, you’re not terrible wit dat shit; it still sounds a lil’ catchy. Either way, I’m 25; not really into “swag” shit; seems after my time… My Rating: 3.1

08. “Hot Spot (Remix)” Feat. Mz. Trill
Seems outdated, in my time, for a remix now… >>> Of course, for those dat ain’t know before, J Buc on tha beat, here, and boy, he can make tha drips drop!! Same beat and hook, here, too… Still sounds nice; Mz. Trill & you should be a couple—wait, you have kids, so I think that option’s off limits? Anyway, I feel tha same about this remix as I did tha original. My Rating: 4.5

09. “I Love You For That” Feat. April Reign
I thought her name was “Reign”, not “Rain”? >>> Beat from Q-Red, here. Kinda sounds like a soft song at first, but then again, it sounds like dedication. I love how you have all this dedication, but where’s tha dedication toward me? I thought it was “money ova bitches?” This case, as well as almost everyone in Louisiana, sounds like “bitches ova money.” Either way, guess you’re dedicated in a good way for tha 1st verse… Got mo shit comin’ through fa tha 2nd verse, here… Level, I can’t understand this dedication you have, especially when you don’t make any initiatives with me! Speakin’ of dedication, it was Jigga House Records’ Zeus’ birthday Saturday, tha 24th, and rappin’ granny & I DROVE from Port Jefferson Station, NY to Egg Harbor Township, NJ, to where he was (3 hours), back on August 22, 2011, at tha Zeus building ‘cause it was his birthday:
See, Level!! Dedication!! And of course, Zeus luved it!!
Anyway, a singing verse fa tha 3rd verse, here, from April Reign. Almost sounds like a Ja Rule/Ashanti/Lil’ Mo collaboration wit tha “what would I be without you” shit. Nothin’ wrong, here; sounds good, and I’ll even give this a good rating. My Rating: 4.2

10. “He Ain’t Like Dat” Feat. Mouse On Tha Track
Real nice beginning, here!! Anotha collaboration wit Q-Red doin’ tha track! Great anthem wit tha hook, here; get dem fists up!! These rhymes on tha 1st verse from you’s aight, but tha joint jamz too hard, to where you can’t help but “love it,” Icona Pop & Charli XCX style! Whoa @ Mouse kickin’ off tha 2nd verse wit a kick-ass voice, lol!! Really feelin’ how he comes through; always coolness comin’ outta his mouth!! I must have ta talk ta him soon; known him fa six years, but neva tried ta talk ta him, yet… I prolly figured he’s mainstream or whateva… Here comes tha 3rd verse from you, comin’ through wit some jammin’ shit; more undeniable shit from you, Level! BTW, what’s challenging in your life? I actually got to meet a girl that used to call into my favorite radio station from 12, 13 years ago, and I found her online!! I met her yesterday; real cool, right?! Tha first time I got ta hang out with a girl, aside from school! My Rating: 4.8

½time: Definitely anotha catchy-ass party CD—NOT “mixtape!!!” 4.3 for tha CD rating, currently; can’t deny it!!! Keep tha bangaz comin’ along, but remember: Your music should always be in my handz!!!

11. DJ Supa Mike Speaks
No thanks… >>> Sounds like I’m jealous, here. Mike needs “gas”? Surprised how you two have agreeing initiatives. Why do DJs not believe in me? DJs are my least-successful people to deal with; thought we was ‘pose ta be in this together?? My Rating: N/A

12. “Keep Shakin’” Feat. Kango Slim, Dorrough & Lucci
>>> Anotha Q-Red beat, here… Almost sounds familiar; can’t deny this hook, either. I thought this was gon be more on a bounce tip, but tha party’s always poppin’! Good job wit tha 1st verse, here, Level; keep shit poppin’! Dorrough’s on tha 2nd verse… Kinda random ta have that one-hit-wonder on this song, but he sounds good… Also, have to mention: This beat sounds like a longer version of DJ B-Real & Zeus’ “It’s Nothin’” beat that they produced (like, tha style’s a lil’ faster, but that breakdown toward bars 13 - 16 on tha verses)… Anyway, it’s good dat peeps reflect on that song ‘cause that’s one of my favorites from this year! Tha 3rd verse, here, iz Lucci (I think?), and it sounds good; nice hook, too! You guys got err-body’s ears in-tune wit dis! My Rating: 4.3

13. “Gimme One Mo”
>>> Ooh, Savage producin’ somethin’, here; old? That was my first impression when hearin’ this, but I don’t think I heard this wit tha Boosie sample on tha hook, here; interestin’… Glad you & Savage are still cool wit each other, I guess? Feelin’ your drug-related shit you spittin’ on tha 1st verse! I can understand why you luv a “high” now, Level: A dream comin’ ta life in reality!! Feelin’ how you “comin’” outta err-thang on tha 2nd verse, here; if only I could party wit you one day, Level… Not sure if that’ll eva happen, but…, no East Coast visiting, Level? Great 2nd verse, but wit all those drugs inside of you, what do you think your life expectancy iz? Me not bein’ a druggie, I still feel like a kid fa 25… Anyway, comin’ through nicely on tha 3rd verse; sounds like you’re very against challenges; why? They can be fun, Level!! My Rating: 4.5

14. “Dumbo” Feat. Young Ready
>>> Of course, wit a collaboration like this, Q-Red has ta be on tha beat! Almost sounds like “Dumdo” on tha hook, but you sayin’, “Dumb, though,” on tha hook; definitely catchy, here! Almost thought tha title was “Gumbo” when I saw tha title! Pretty aggressive wit tha rhymes, here! Speakin’ of “makin’ bread,” how come I ain’t see anything from you, yet? I could hook you up wit videoz and a lotta great shit, and it don’t cost a lot, Level! No stacks needed here, unless it’s a documentary/movie-like video! Also, today’s six years ago dat I found dat $200 winning scratch-off; talk about how I get my $$$, Level, and it fell on your 20th birthday!! I got a scratch-off bag yesterday, cleaned it out today, and I found a $2 winner, so your b-day luck hasn’t worn off, Level! Hope you like dat, despite tha money bein’ in my pockets!! Young Ready comin’ through on tha 2nd verse wit some aggressive shit, too; really feelin’ how y’all just deliver it—deliver it!!! Got you on tha 3rd verse, too, and you keepin’ dat “O”-rhymin’ words comin’ along!! My Rating: 4.6

15. “R.I.P.”
>>> Interesting beginning, here… Catchy rhymes comin’ outta yo mouth, here, on tha 1st verse! I thought this was gon be a sad song about people who died, but it sounds like you’re doin’ tha killin’ wit tha rhymes? Or wait, you “just murdered tha beat,” so I guess there’s random death comin’ outta this, here. Now, your “R.I.P.”s are soundin’ like tha Jeezy song, a lil’… Really likin’ tha Bible quotes before tha verses; very anticipatin’ song, here! Comin’ through wit tha 2nd verse, here; thumbs up fa tha “purple,” Level! Gotta have it by ya side!! Speakin’ of, tha girl I was with yesterday, I showed her my upcoming video countdown’s songs (My Top 100 Songs While Interning), and she was like, “‘Hit Dat’” (your song)? “Hit what,” lol? BTW, I like how tha front cover looks; your tattoos make you look like a real cool dude. It’s always cool ta hang wit peeps wit tattoos, right? My Rating: 4.5

16. “Totally Attractive” Feat. Malachi
>>> Got mo heat comin’ from Q-Red on tha beat, here… I like tha title, here, so let’s see what y’all can bring… I’m feelin’ how Malachi sounds on tha hook, but I dunno about tha “got a lotta money” shit; why don’t I see any of “it,” quote-unquote? Weird how I liked tha vocals betta than tha lyrics fa a singer!! That’s different! Got you on tha 1st verse, here, and it’s soundin’ nice, Level; what more can somebody say?? Mo shit comin’ from you on tha 2nd verse, here; entertainment at its finest, Level! E-N-T-E-R-T-A-I-N-M-E-N-T!! Teamwork on tha 3rd verse, here, by dividin’ tha verse into fourths! Feelin’ how tha both of y’all comin’ through! Well, 12 bars, it sounded like? Then, it was divided into thirds, I think? My Rating: 4.6

17. DJ Chill Speaks
>>> A Blu Boy Entertainment check-in, here… Not sure why I neva got ta chop it up wit Chill, yet, but glad he grindin’; good check-in! My Rating: N/A

18. “Like Yeah” Feat. Max Minelli
>>> I see how your intro was “I got cars; I got money; I got hoes.” That may be good fa you, but as far business, it must suck, right? I know somebody like dat that I tried to promote their ass off, but I ain’t make nothin’ off them; gotta lose tha money virginity, people!!! Anyway, good hook, as it sounds catchy. However, tha beginning of tha 1st verse’s kinda a turn-off wit all this “money” shit… It starts ta pick up a lil’ bit wit how you’re switchin’ it up wit tha lyrics, a lil’ bit, but just a lil’ bit… Mr. Minelli on tha 2nd verse, here; good shit, Max! Strictly from tha "walls” as “Spiderman,” tha only way a Minelli like Max can do it, lol! Mo shit comin’ from you on tha 3rd verse, here, Level… Ehh, too obsessed wit “money;” when will it become faggy ta talk about—actually, it iz, in my opinion!! My bad-azz opinion!! Just like tha girl I met yesterday: Our opinions are so INFLICTING, NERVE-STRIKING & FROM THA HEART!!! My Rating: 4.2

19. “2 Faced” Feat. Box & Dat Boy A
>>> Anotha Q-Red beat, wit some soul music bein’ sampled… Well, almost familiar, as it’s tha “Backstabbers” original hook, on tha hook, here (almost thought it was Angie Stone “Wish I Didn’t Miss You”, but she sampled that song, too, 11 years ago)! Thought I heard this from somewhere, but how Q-Red chopped it up on tha hook, it sounds like a new track… Box’s on tha 1st verse (finally, a correct order on tha features), and it sounds nice ta hear; good consistency from tha continuous, Kontinuous Entertainment dude! Got you on tha 2nd verse, Level, soundin’ good wit how you comin’ through on this beat. Got a blast from tha past on tha 3rd verse, here: Dat Boy A. Oh, gotta remember tha dayz when he used ta blow my phone up in 2010. Wish he was still serious about gettin’ at me ‘cause I could’ve made some bread, and he could’ve had a ton of video work/promotion done from me! Then again, I’m an afterthought in this music biz, and must get outta it ASAP!! I’m tryin’, but escapin’ doesn’t happen overnight! Just know that my transcending gon come soon! Either way, a good verse; can’t deny this song! My Rating: 4.3

20. “Fuck You” Feat. J-Spitta
>>> Nice start from Spitta, here; wish all these dudes were serious about gettin’ at me, but what’s ‘cool’ iz quantity-over-quality shit, where everyone wants to be in tha studio “25/8” (like I told tha girl I saw yesterday), and not focus on promoting/letting my creativeness come out! Great, consistent rhymes, Spit; don’t be a stranger—wait, don’t be a continuing stranger! I think tha whole underground iz tired of me; don’t worry, I’ll be gone soon, and dedicate myself to other people… Anyway, got you on tha 2nd verse, Level, comin’ through wit some gangsta shit. Tha hook’s pretty catchy wit this hook; nothin’ like stickin’ tha middle finga up! That’s what I feel like right now ‘til I transcend into tha video world, fully! My Rating: 4.5

21. “Respect Me”
Tha beginning beat sounds sound like a Q-Red beat; anticipated! BTW, “Mayham Ent.;” who are they and how’d you hook up wit them? Will they take me serious? I remember, in 2010, when Easy Hustle tried ta take me serious. Then again, they fell off, right Level? I guess? I keep hearin’ crickets fa no reason! But, good job wit how you’re deliverin’ your rhymes on tha 1st verse! Keep makin’ people “mad!” I don’t apply myself to anyone, so like Lana Del Rey—who shares tha same birthday as me—“I’ve got that summertime, summertime sadness!” Speakin’ of “tha news (Channel 9)” wit what you’re spittin’ on tha 2nd verse, what would it be like if I worked fa tha Baton Rouge news station? You know, tha news station I interned at last year was what made my 2012 great! If nothin’ pops off, I’ll still try to keep my tribute video stories up… Good job wit tha 2nd verse, keepin’ it “hood” like you say, here. Shout out ta Dassie, too! My Rating: 4.3

Overall: Wow, anotha nice CD from you, Level! Too bad you neva sent me this CD in tha mail, and I waited ‘til now ta review it! It’s now seven months old; not sure if I want old music on my current playlist! It sucks dat I have ta deal wit this ‘cause I luv promotin’ people, but there’s nothin’ in my mailbox! I hope this iz a lesson learned or somethin’ ‘cause to tell you tha truth, I tweet peeps my playlist, and peeps like D’Manti, who’s ON THA BILLBOARD CHART, as well as a bunch others, show BUKU LUV to my playlists, and say they LUV my playlist: https://twitter.com/DmantiMusic/status/369552269877862400
I guess all’s she’s hearin’ from Louisiana iz Savage, DJ B-Real, J Buc, Big Wayne, B-Teze, Bubba, Max Minelli, Percy Keith (surprisingly), KarlWayne & Jiggaman; what happened to everyone? Then again, no matter tha ratings, there’s neva room fa disappointment, it seems like! I also believe dat this iz tha 1st review I eva typed on my MacBook, and I’ve had my MacBook for 4 years, 1 month, 2 weeks & 4 dayz (July 10, 2009)! That’s ‘cause my Windows laptop’s busy rippin’ shit, and I ain’t wanna interrupt it… But, honestly, I hope I hear from you, eventually, before I disappear! Hope your b-day went well; you partyin’ wit Jiggaman or somethin’ tonight?
