Review #1,313: Lil' Mista "Cain Muzik 2.0: Networking Reloaded"

Reviewed on 8.29.2013 (Review #1,313)

Up next, Lil’ Mista Cain Muzik 2.0: Networking Reloaded; here’s my review. Start Time: 6:07 PM | End Time: 6:38 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

01. Intro
>>> What made you quote-unquote, “blow up?” My Rating: N/A

02. “Up It”
>>> Wow, turn-off wit tha “Cain Muzik” tag, or whateva; why do people wanna copy Rick Ross’ “Maybach Music” garbage? Production sounds a lil’ familiar, here, but listenin’ ta this, and that repetitive hook’s catchy. Your rhymes sound consistent; then again, nothin’ new, here… My Rating: 4.3

03. “Moving Round” Feat. Lil’ Boosie
>>> Lil’ Ken always supplyin’ your production… Boosie sounds a lil’ quiet, here… Sounds good, but way too laidback on tha vocals, Boosie! As far as you on this, it sounds like your regularness… Where’d this “Deezy Cain” dude come outta, also? Sounds like everyone brings random people into their roster, just to be ‘cool’ ‘cause you gotta have, at least, 50 people in your ‘click.’ Thank God, there’s only one in my click: me! My Rating: 4.2

04. “Wne Way”
>>> Sounds like a random internet rapper, a lil’ bit, here… Of course, tha beat saves you, once again. “Polo everythang,” huh? Thought Bubba acknowledged that before you; gotta give him credit, ya know? Like, “Polo everythang, like Bubba!” My Rating: 3.9

05. “Where The Love At”
>>> Hook sounds boring wit tha title repeatin’. Really, it’s, like, nothin’ new wit you, here… My Rating: 3.6

06. “Real Nigga”
>>> A song fa tha “pussy,” here, always “beat” ta death… My Rating: 3.5

07. “No Feelings”
My Current Rating: 4.1

08. “Calm Down” Feat. Jamillah Shabazz
>>> Just dat regular, Lil’ Mista/Mista Cain-type music, here… I thought tha featured artist was a female, but it sounds like Young Ready? Very similar-soundin’ flow? I don’t get it, I’m confused ‘cause tha 3rd verse sounds like someone else, too, but tha song’s good, still… My Rating: 4.0

09. “Dope Mane” Feat. Lil’ Cali
>>> Nothin’ really new, once again, wit you… Let’s see if Lil’ Cali adds some excitement… BTW, happy early b-day ta Cali, since it’s tomorrow! At least his voice adds some butter ta this dry-tastin’ bagel… Keep supplyin’ tha “dope,” Cali! My Rating: 4.2

10. “My Bitch”
>>> Wit Lil’ Ken all ova these beats, I wonder how much he makes fa producin’ so much? He must get at least four figgaz fa each CD, right? Combined? Anyway, nothin’ new wit this kinda content… My Rating: 3.7

½time: Everything I always expect from you; 3.9 fa tha CD rating, currently.

11. “I’m Grown”
>>> What age does everyone in Louisiana consider ta be “grown”? I’m 25, and I still don’t even seem close ta bein’ “grown,” in some wayz. Like, as far as what I do, definitely. As far as in social circles, I’m still in school, it seems like… This joint just sounds aight fa me; nothin’ special wit this laidback vibe and rhymes. My Rating: 3.4

12. “Respect My Mind” Feat. Yung Pymp
>>> A shout out ta “Lil’ Ken” in tha beginning. Ehh, nothin’ special, once again; just you tellin’ tha world that you “have” everything!! As far as Yung Pymp, sounds a lil’ excitin’ ta hear a feature outta nowhere… My Rating: 3.6

13. “I Gave Her” Feat. Gus, Level & Wne
>>> Sounds like Dhat Fam’s obsessed wit fuckin’ or somethin’; not sure how all this eva came about, but tha hook’s pretty nice, how it’s put together. Tha 1st verse must be Gus (not even Level, and he’s 1st in tha ID?); perfect word: “whateva!” Now, we got Level on tha 2nd verse, here… I assume Level lost his virginity before Flava Flav (before Kindergarten)? Braggin’ at its finest… Here you are on tha 3rd verse, and I bet you don’t fail, too, right? Y…u…p… Endin’ it wit some Wne… Still, I gon fix tha ID up. Either way, no matter my complainin’, I enjoyed this. My Rating: 4.4

14. “This & That”
>>> I actually finally saw a Polo Ralph Lauren store tha other day. Took this long, huh? Then again, none of y’all help me “find this & that,” so it’s whateva. Not really inta hearin’ how ya buyin’ “this & that,” since tha coolest thing ta do iz ta spend $0.00 on tha Lucky Dog! Don’t worry, all this iz addin’ up fa my future, as we speak! My Rating: 3.7

15. “Hurricane” Feat. Savage
>>> Finally, some more different features! Nice lil’ hook from Savage, smooth, southern & real as it gets!! Hearin’ you on tha verse, and it sounds like what people have ta be in order ta be ‘cool’ (e.g., tha gun reference & “listenin’ ta Bad Azz”). No wonder why it’s takin’ me so long ta get ta Louisiana! Givin’ this a better rating than usual jointz on here ‘cause of tha Savage appearance! My Rating: 4.4

16. “I Fucked Up”
>>> Kinda sounds boring fa me… And yea, you did fuck “up,” when it came ta takin’ me serious, Mista! Correct! My Rating: 3.3

17. “Politicing”
>>> Sounds like a Ross song fa me, even wit Ken on tha beat… Once again, nothin’ special. My Rating: 2.9

18. “28 Grams”
>>> Thought this would be an interestin’ drug song, but it’s boring fa me. You need ta have catchier deliveries; this iz on some dry Gates-type shit… My Rating: 3.2

19. “Going Down (G-Mix)” Feat. Level & Young Ready
>>> It’s whateva wit your part, here; at least you added a “ow-na” in your flow, this time… Got Level on tha 2nd verse, and he’s anti-social as eva, here; what else can you expect? Bet Ready’s hidin’ in tha bushes once his verse comes on! Oh wait, fa tha hoes, this time? Such randomness from Ready! Don’t need ta hear about his “big long dick” on a song like this; next!! My Rating: 3.7

20. “Boss Man” Feat. Cain Muzik Mafia
>>> Startin’ off wit this Deezy Cain dude on tha 1st verse… It’s okay, but I’m gonna have no idea who else iz on this from here… To me, this sounds like a random song fa a family (e.g., all tha Cain Muzik Mafia dudes). Friends? Can’t be! You guys gotta be brothers or somethin’ ‘cause friends are impossible!! My Rating: 3.6

21. “Baby Cain”
>>> Ewe, I ain’t feelin’ this hook; sounds cheesy wit how you comin’ through wit tha title! Nice lyrics about your son, but son? Really? A lil’ too ahead of your time, right now! Are you a dad or rapper? Why does everyone pick both? It’s impossible ta master both, at tha same time! My Rating: 2.4

Overall: Anotha CD in tha Mista Cain catalog, I have ta say… I’ve liked better CDs.
