Review #1,322: Trakk Boii "Straight Outta LA"

Reviewed on 9.11.2013 (Review #1,322)

Still got a lil’ free time, so I finna review this iHustle Muzik Group release, right about now: Trakk Boii Straight Outta LA. Start Time: 5:16 PM | End Time: 6:11 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

© 2013 CD Review (Review #1,322) reviewed on 9.11.2013 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. Introduction
>>> You sound good speakin’ on tha phone, here… At times, it’s a lil’ distorted, but you reppin’ tha Boot, here! My Rating: N/A

02. “So Official” Feat. Young Cuzz & Eddie Starks
>>> Kinda reminds me of tha vibe of Jiggaman (from Opelousas)’s “Gettin’ It In”, from earlier this year! Whoo, feelin’ how you comin’ through on tha hook, here! You doin’ a damn good job on tha beat, Trakk Boii!! Even comin’ through wit your good feelin’ on tha 1st verse, too; nice! Here’s Cuzz on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit a consistent verse, between his voice and his underground vibe fa tha Boot! Got Eddie Starks on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through as consistent as y’all are, here… Wish he’d be more open about services than be ½–dimensional, smh! My Rating: 4.5

03. “Wahnn” Feat. Big Wayne
oOooOooh, includin’ tha title! >>> Nice intro from Big Wayne, showin’ you luv! “Wahnn, I’m fulla dat killa!!” Whoo @ tha hook!! Tha beat sounds pretty nice, too!! Oh, not done wit tha hook, yet: Big Wayne comin’ through on tha 2nd ½ of tha hook, wit tha highest of tha “high!!” “Wahnn!!!” How can you not luv it?!? Glad you still got dat “popped a few pillz” vibe on tha 1st verse, here, Trakk! Nice job, and now, I’m hearin’ Big Wayne on tha 2nd verse… Real glad he “fulla dem jiggaz,” too! Hope that neva goes away!! Always comin’ through hard, here!! Definitely luved tha verse!! Good shit you bringin’ on tha 3rd verse, too! Gotta feel your consistency! And, now, I can relate ta how Big Wayne feels like he gon “be up in tha sky,” afta one more puff! Talk about me wit 12 stories “high,” plus, “high!!” I feel ya!! Great job from Big Wayne doin’ tha beat, here, too!! My Rating: 4.9

04. “If I Was Rich” Feat. Songbird
>>> Doesn’t sound like a bad song, overall; not cocky or nothin’ on tha hook, as I’m feelin’ tha person on tha hook… Hearin’ tha 1st verse, and it sounds like a bright future… Wit this perspective, I can picture you doin’ services wit me soon, or somethin’, right? Tha 2nd verse aight, too; not bad of a track, overall… A lil’ singin’ from dat Songbird at tha end, too, here… My Rating: 3.8

05. “Being With You” Feat. Taylor Rae
New version? >>> Still got Mod on tha beat, here… I’m feelin’ tha female, this time, on tha hook… I seem to like this better than my first few listens… My Rating: 3.6

06. “Fake Friends” Feat. Wodie On The Beat
A.K.A. Wodieson! >>> This iz an okay track, so far… I feel your message, here! So many from Louisiana have acted like they’ve “grown,” and don’t write me back, or call me, anymore! What kinda shit iz dat? I can’t picture ignorin’ someone! I’ve been so tied up, tryna get my future settled. It’s like, I almost was gonna ignore you when you sent me this CD. However, there was no way I could’ve… So now, I’m doin’ tha review for ya! Nice job wit tha 1st verse, as well as tha hook, here! Got Wodieson on tha 2nd verse, here; I’m likin’ his perspective on tha fakerz! I’ve dealt with a few people that fuck wit Wodieson that have changed on me. I bet he still cool wit them, though ‘cause he gets ta see ‘em in person, and I’m just an afterthought in tha wind. :( I feel what you sayin’ on tha 3rd verse, here. Sucks when they shot “Kidd Kidd” back in 2011—even to shoot someone iz horrible and uncalled for!! My Rating: 4.1

07. “Slab Muzik” Feat. D-Rob & Mo $tackz
>>> Likin’ tha beat vibe, here. I’m sure anyone can make out what’s goin’ on on tha hook, here (enjoyin’ yourself on tha “slab”)! Tha 1st verse sounds good, here… You got your “people” in “Texas,” as well as bein’ a White Castle representa! Nice… Hearin’ D-Rob on tha 2nd verse, here, and I’m likin’ tha delivery on this beat… Even Mo $tackz on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit a slightly-faster flow on tha track, here! Nice job from all of y’all! My Rating: 4.3

08. “Jump Off The Roof” Feat. LV (from Too Much)
>>> Sounds like a regular beat (but not like today’s shit) wit how tha beat sounds, so far… I like how you comin’ through on this, just spittin’ shit! Some of tha beat’s soundin’ a lil’ like typical shit, now-a-dayz (tha sound of it), as well as bein’ a lil’ plain, but you can’t deny it… Tha hook sounds catchy; keep it comin’! Strictly comin’ fa tha hoes on tha 2nd verse, lol! Here’s LV on tha 3rd verse, wit a lil’ bit of a typical, mainstream rapper-soundin’ sound, but wit a lil’ bit of catchiness, as he’s fast on tha beat. My Rating: 3.9

½time: Definitely feelin’ this shit right chea, Trakk! You’ve got yourself a 4.2-rated CD, currently; keep it up!!

09. “Whatchama Call It” Feat. Mo $tackz
LOL… >>> Here you are on tha beat, and it’s soundin’ nice!! Who would’ve thought we were flashin’ back to a decade ago (2003) wit this hook, here: Mo $tackz remakin’ tha Busta Rhymes/Flipmode Squad/Mariah Carey “I Know What You Want” hit on tha hook, and it sounds catchy!! Who would’ve thought that song was 10 years ago! I was fuckin’ wit tha cameras, at tha time, where most weren’t, lol! Back when I was listenin’ to tha radio wit tha Top 8 @ 8 countdowns…! Nice job wit tha 1st verse, too, $tackz; great wit how you comin’ through on it! Here you are on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit a nice, P-to-tha-U-to-tha-R-to-tha-muthafuckin’-P perspective, lol!! My Rating: 4.4

10. “UFC Tuff” Feat. Lem (from Badd Nooze) & Nino Black
>>> ROFL @ tha “let’s get ready to rumbleeeeeeeeee!!!” intro!! Talk about tha pathetic “let’s get ready to bundleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee…!!!” commercial from this year, lol!! But yea, this definitely jammin’, between tha beat and tha hook wit Nino Black on it!! LOL @ this joint’s volume soundin’ right, whereas tha other songs are, like, halved… Nice shit you comin’ wit on tha 1st verse, Trakk!! Sounds like dat Louisiana music I luv! Got Lem on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through, on his “UFC” shit; gotta luv it!! Flow iz off tha chain!! “Tigers, beware;” that’s right!! As much as he came through on tha hook, here’s Nino Black on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit dat Louisiana sound!! Gotta luv tha voice!! Not sure if I’ve seen him before, but I picture dreads, a grill & just, physically-shittin’ on niggaz! Got a lotta hits on here, Trakk!! Rarely do I get a CD and review it tha day it comes out!! Also, I gon add dat song wit Big Wayne today, too!! So, that’s a triple threat how I get a CD, review it, and add a song to my playlist all in tha same day it drops!!! My Rating: 4.7

11. “Too The Maxx”
Emphasizin’ tha “to” here, Trakk? Let’s see how maxxium this gon sound! >>> Yea, this sounds jammin’; can’t deny it! Good job wit tha hook, comin’ through, “too tha maxx!” Good shit on tha 1st verse, too; can’t deny your club vibe at all times!! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, too; what else can ya ask for?? Lots of “rollin’ like a choo choo train” on tha 3rd verse (or bridge), too! My Rating: 4.2

12. “Work It” Feat. Young Loc
R.I.P. Young Loc; can’t believe it gon be three years in March! LOL @ tha cut-off beginning, here… My Current Rating: 4.8

13. “Break Up & Make Up” Feat. Ginn
>>> Likin’ tha R&B female voice on tha 1st verse, here; reminds me of tha shit I used ta listen to on tha radio, back durin’ those “I Know What You Want” times and earlier! Feelin’ Ginn’s style, here! She really inside you dudes, lol!! Kinda like a dirty version of 3LW! Here you are on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some consistent shit, here… Nice job wit this song, overall; anotha hot hit!! My Rating: 4.4

14. “Eyes Of Real”
I like tha title… >>> You comin’ through on tha beat (of course); let’s see what kinda heat you brought ta this title… Sounds like a dark, southern version of an old track (that I can’t think of, at tha moment… *Sings* Din, din, din, din…). Sounds like a good 1st verse, here… Tha hook ain’t too bad wit how you comin’ through wit it; gotta always keep it “real!” Too bad, those that obsess tha words “credit,” “real,” “blood,” etc. are fake. It’s like, you don’t have ta say it 1,000,000x!! I don’t have to say how “real” I am to people—I like usin’ tha word “official!” Just look at my works and how consistent I am, people!! I’m not like no other, and I mean dat!! Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty good, too… My Rating: 3.7

15. “Only You”
>>> A sample on tha hook, here… Ehh, this ain’t bad; kinda sounds a lil’ random fa me wit tha delivery, but I’m feelin’ your honest lyrics on both verses… My Rating: 3.3

16. “Fun While It Lasted” Feat. Songbird
I agree with this title a whole lot, right now! This how I feel about artists. No one wants to send me their CDs in tha mail, anymore, and if they do, it’s people who’s shit’s so old, or random dudes that are garbage/not special. I did have my day in tha music biz; I’ll admit: I’m not ‘hot,’ anymore! But, let’s see what you brought to tha table, here… >>> Another soft-soundin’ song ta end it off, here… Again, good job wit your honesty, here… Tha hook has a male sample this time (or, tha actual Songbird?), as well as rappin’ from you on it… Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad, but my interest iz kinda lost, when it comes ta laidback songs like this… And, like tha previous song, this has singing ending tha song… My Rating: 3.1

Overall: Real nice CD, Trakk!! Got a bunch of hits on it; I can fuck wit it! Not sure how many current reviewz I gon have after this one, but I’m glad I got ta peep out your new CD!

Review #1,321: Spitta "Fresh Outta Jail (Hosted by DJ Chill)"

Reviewed on 9.04.2013 (Review #1,321)

Here’s tha last review for today I finna do: Spitta—from Badd Nooze—Fresh Outta Jail (Hosted by DJ Chill)! I found out about tha release of this CD pretty early, thanx ta lookin’ at Percy Keith retweet your status: https://twitter.com/spitta_badnewz/status/375016643191386113
It’s a shock that Percy Keith retweeted you; you didn’t even tag him in it!! How you do dat, Spitta? You know, I’m tha biggest loser, now-a-dayz? No one gives a fuck about me anymore! Tha Louisiana world and underground’s ready to crumble, once no one can find me, soon! I can’t wait ‘til people are in pain, tryna figure out what happened to me, where I’m at, and more! Tha pain iz comin’ real soon!!! #opportunitiesonthaway Start Time: 5:25 PM | End Time: 6:25 PM

01. “Intro”
Must have rappin’ on it if it’s 3:33! >>> DJ Chill on tha intro, here… Beat sounds nice ta rap on, here… Hearin’ tha 1st verse, and you startin’ off wit hypin’ up tha hoes, here… Rhymes sound nice, includin’ all tha “Ralph Lauren” you got on, too. Sucks that you “ignored tha text;” can’t understand why this music biz world luvs ignoring people! I’m tha most-ignored person that supports Louisiana of all time! :( Definitely feelin’ how you comin’ through on tha mic, here! Can neva deny tha way you spit tha shit on any track!! My Rating: 4.5

02. “Fresh Outta Jail”
Time ta hear it! >>> Sirens blastin’ through tha beat wit Q-Red producin’! Hook almost reminds me of a Young Jeezy flow. Nice job wit comin’ through on this hook! Your question: “You eva lost err-body that was close to you?” Answer for me iz, “No!” At 25 years-old, I’ve neva lost a friend I’ve known in person. Tha 1st verse’s pretty nice; I think my whole review for every verse of yours gon be, “Very consistent,” or, “Very nice,” or, “Nothin’ wack, here!” Each verse gon be very similar! Feelin’ how you “smokin’ tha L” and “mixin’” shit on tha 2nd verse, here! You’re one of tha best dudes in Baton Rouge! Hope you neva get rid of your dreads!! Speakin’ of “that building,” I’ve been goin’ to abandoned buildings with my cousins, recently. Tha shit’s very theraputic fa me, compared ta all tha fantasy bullshit I’ve been dealin’ with! Gotta luv it, with graffiti and bein’ high, high! My Rating: 4.6

03. “Trust Dat” Feat. Bitty & Mr. McDonald
How ‘bout some Duck Sauce? Naw, I’m just playin’! But, I’m wonderin’ what this McDonald dude sounds like! >>> Gangsta-soundin’ beat fa tha 225, here! You and your middle fingaz consistently up durin’ tha 1st verse, not givin’ a “fuck” ‘bout anything! Keep “shittin’ on ‘em,” Spitta! Every toilet in tha world needs you!! Prolly should throw some fake rappers in tha toilet before your asshole crushes ‘em! Anyway, wit tha great-soundin’ 1st verse you spit, tha hook sounds pretty nice! Almost reminds me of a Louisiana version of Big Sean or someone in tha current mainstream world… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse, and they sound like they’re on your level wit how they’re deliverin’ tha rhymes, here… Of course, you can’t deny this “coach” / “host!” Also, wit tha 2nd hook, it sounds like a random, Magnolia Chop-like dude outta nowhere, addin’ vocals; interestin’… Not exactly sure where tha McDonald dude iz (that background-soundin’ Magnolia Chop?), but tha remainder of this iz tha hook and some extra vocals; nice… My Rating: 4.3

04. “Probation & Parole”
>>> “Hardbody (Hardbody)…” Glad, as a “street nigga,” that you don’t “make too many songs fa them hoes.” It’s all about stayin’ on topic fa tha streetz! Tha hook’s pretty catchy, once again! And, tha 1st verse sounds nice and consistent wit this in-tha-trap-soundin’ beat! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, as you [were] “in tha parish!” It almost sounded like you said, “Rappin’ for Zeus,” or somethin’; nice, as I gon give a shout out ta Jigga House Records’ Zeus! My Rating: 4.4

05. “Official”
>>> More of that “Hardbody (Hardbody)” dude on tha beat… Nice lil’ “hustle” anthem, here! Tha streetz neva disappointed!! Got you on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some nice shit, as your mind’s continuously deliverin’ dat street shit! A lotta catchy punchlines wit “brain” and “cells” on tha 2nd verse, here! Your “pain” iz so strong, dat you’d give “a hoe a pain pill” if your pain inflicts so much damage, lol! A random dude, reppin’ tha BR “NWA,” speakin’ toward tha end… Nice lil’ ending. My Rating: 4.5

06. “Bust Ya Head” Feat. Level
Huh? Level? He doesn’t answer his phone so how did you get this feature to happen?! Crazy shit!! >>> Beat sounds like it’s on some good, mainstream-soundin’ southern shit… You speakin’ in tha 3rd person on tha hook, too, which sounds catchy. Here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit how your “bitch” holdin’ you down… I luv how a “pill” can get you ta do many things! It’s like, one thing that can grab you by tha balls iz a “pill;” interestin’! There’s shit that grabs me by tha balls, too! And, here’s an angry Level on tha 2nd verse. It’s like, where he comin’ outta? Again, he spits way too much ‘above-tha-regular-guy’-type of rhymes, but I always fall for ‘em ‘cause they sound great on tha mic! Damn, this seemed like a short song… My Rating: 4.6

07. “Runnin’” Feat. Racked Up Ready
Why “Racked Up Ready”? I miss tha dayz of “Young Ready”! This September 18th gon mark tha ½-decade celebration (wow, five years!) of when I got his letter in tha mail from jail! Too bad that was, like, one of Ready’s only moments with me! Outta five years? Pathetic! >>> Okay, this iz a catchy hook! Kinda sounds like one you can remember wit all tha “I’m runnin’, I’m runnin’!” Great hook, Spit!! Got Racked Up Ready on tha 1st verse, here… Okay, feelin’ what he comin’ through wit; I can feel a full Baton Rouge perspective, here, and not no wannabe-mainstream shit! Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit a I-ain’t-learn-my-lesson-type of way; I’m diggin’ it! I just hope that gettin’ in touch wit tha Lucky Dog’s still cool, though… My Rating: 4.7

08. “Freestyle”
>>> Nice intro from DJ Chill, talkin’ ‘bout tha “reality” of “I’ma sleep when I die!” Hearin’ what you got goin’ on in tha 1st minute, here, and it’s consistent; keep tha rhymes comin’!! Hearin’ what you got durin’ tha 2nd minute, and it’s all about you and your “hard-ass head!” “I was only 16 when I got tha glock;” all I know iz November 13, 2012’ll prolly be tha only day I’ve touched a gun. We were movin’ outta my great-grandma’s house in Florida, and in tha top of tha closet was a rifle. We just threw it out, as it was my great-grandpa’s. Tha 3rd minute and 4th minute of this just flows non-stop; you can’t deny these consistent rhymes!! You must rap while you’re peeing; rap while you’re shitting; rap while you’re havin’ sex; rap while you’re in tha shower; rap while you’re sleeping; rap while you’re sleepwalking, too!! My Rating: 4.7

½time: How can you not luv Spitta?! A 4.5-rated CD, currently; keep this consistent shit up!!!!!

09. “Section”
>>> Feelin’ tha “section” you representin’, here! Talk about your “racist”-ass wit tha “three Ks,” lol! Damn, what else will you think of?! Anotha joint just freestyled? Wow, you don’t need any hooks!! Or, just one really long verse iz how you comin’ wit it? Interesting… Oh wait, tha last 20 seconds iz tha 2nd verse; damn, crammin’ everything in! You just murdered “tha beat; no need ta investigate!” My Rating: 4.6

10. “Slangin’ Iron” Feat. Percy Keith & Clever Kev
*In a positive, hyped-up attitude* That fuckin’ Percy Keith!!! Ahh!!! He ain’t gettin’ in touch wit me!! What am I missing? Do I have to fuck a bitch in front of him? Oh wait, maybe, I have to be “street”? Too bad, some of those things don’t happen… But, I’m dyin’ ta hear this collaboration!! >>> Feelin’ tha beat start; sounds like one of those jointz I’m really anticipated ta hear, based off tha start and collaboration!! Strictly “slangin’ iron” on tha hook, here; good shit!! Anotha one of those “Runnin’”-type hooks! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse, and accordin’ ta you, everything about you iz long: tha “dick,” tha “4-5,” your history, your reputation; no wonder, you’re well-respected by your listeners/fans!! Okay, here’s Percy on tha 2nd verse!! Oh, he even got tha attention of my rappin’ granny, as we’re tryna get his #! It’s like, how do you get in touch wit Percy Keith to where he’ll answer?! Catchy rhymes, here. Sounds like he talkin’ a lot about his “dick,” here… Guess anything can slang on tha track? Definitely felt how Percy Keith came through on tha 2nd verse; can’t deny him, at times! Though sometimes I feel 50/50 about his tracks/features, some of his shit’s too addictive to listen to! Got Clever Kev on tha 3rd verse, here, comin’ through wit consistency like you, Spitta, too! Bet he talks to Percy Keith frequently, too, right? I know tha whole world of BR’s way ahead of me, right? My Rating: 4.7

11. “Michael, Jason & Freddie” Feat. Clever Kev
My brother & stepdad on tha title, lol! >>> I like how tha beat has that (I hate ta say it) “Crank Dat (Soulja Boy)” sound to it. Wish I could describe that sound betta… But, that sound always catches my attention, so tha beat’s on-n-poppin’, here! You got shit on lock wit tha 1st verse, too! One of tha longer songs on this CD, so you holdin’ it down extended, here! Pretty long 1st verse, here; will there be only two verses? I always say, two verses are catchier and better for songs than three verses! Guess it just went into Clever Kev ‘round 1:53? Didn’t even realize where tha hook was; came outta nowhere… But, this 2nd verse sounds nice, too; felt like this shit blended in… Oh, now, I hear tha title in tha hook; came outta nowhere, at first, and it’s pretty catchy, on some murder-like shit! Now, it’s back ta you on tha 3rd verse, here, comin’ through wit sneakin’ your “gun in tha club.” Ehh, hope no one does that kinda shit wit me around. Then, no one’ll eva see me. “Today Monday; I’m tryna sleep tha whole Tuesday.” Uh, why “sleep”? Rappers don’t “sleep!” As Savage says, “No rest, no sleep!!” Nice ending wit tha “graduation” line: “Just like a graduation, niggaz gettin’ clapped at!” My Rating: 4.4

12. “Dirk” Feat. Clever Kev
Thought this said, “Dick,” ‘cause I know how much y’all street dudes luv havin’ sex! >>> Definitely likin’ tha beat, on some cold, 007-like music that I luv ta hear on these underground, Louisiana tracks!! Here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit dat gangsta-ass “program” shit, ova this kick-ass track!! Comin’ through wit your weapon on tha hook, as a “fire-breathin’ dragon!” Yea, even down ta hearin’ elements like “fire,” and big creatures like a “dragon” iz a major plus, too!! You really got this shit on lock!!! Here goes Clever Kev on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through, encounterin’ “Aladdin,” lol! I like how he said, “Genie.” LOL, rappin’ granny & I visited tha Zeus building in New Jersey on Jigga House Records’ Zeus’ birthday, back on August 24, 2013, and I visited it ‘cause it was Zeus’ birthday. I told my granny, “If it was your friend, Genie’s birthday, and there was a live genie hours away, would you drive to it to get a picture in front of it for her?” LOL, she said, “No way!” I guess you can see tha perseverance I have fa some of these rappers, huh? Feels like I have tha passion, at times, but am really startin’ ta lose it, since no one cares about me, anymore. :( But, Spitta, you’re on tha 3rd verse, here, and this shit sounds nice, once again!! My Rating: 4.7

13. “NWA”
>>> “Favorite number 47”? Interestin’, as my “favorite number” iz 4. LOL, minus tha “7.” Anyway, tha beat sounds nice, here, ta rap on… Strictly droppin’ your “nuts” on these bitch-asses! Oh, so I see what this “NWA” title stands for: “Niggaz With Ammunition!” Gangsta shit at its finest!! Keepin’ shit goin’ on tha 2nd verse, too, “straight floppin’ ya!!” Even a 3rd verse on this track, too! “Carmen Sandiego;” talk about throwback, even though today’s Wednesday! Yesterday, I was lookin’ up that old show, Kablam!, from Nick, and it was ‘cause it reminded me of Crystal Waters “100% Pure Love”, back when I was little, in tha ‘90s. LOL, talk about females ruling tha nation: Thunder Girl!! My Rating: 4.5

14. “Recruiter (Distributor)”
Speakin’ of tha ‘90s and this title—tha part in parenthesis—I was watchin’ speedruns of Star Wars: Shadows Of The Empire, for Nintendo 64, yesterday and tha night before. They were fightin’ with tha Distributor weapon; very powerful! So, let’s see tha power, here! >>> Beat sounds nice; feelin’ those rock sounds in tha background! Strictly comin’ through wit dat “Distributor” on them lames, on tha hook, here!! Tha 1st verse sounds pretty nice, too; you can’t be stopped!! No wonder why Miley Cyrus went to get street cred and made “We Can’t Stop”, lol… Tha 2nd verse sounds catchy, too, and you’re gettin’ your “dick” eaten “up,” too, on tha track, followin’ that “eat dat dick up” trend? Crazy… A 3rd verse, too… Oh, so your real name’s “Jason”? Was that why “Jason” was in that “Michael, Jason & Freddie” title? Tha cool thing iz, you born in ’84, too; damn, what don’t you have that’s tha shit?! Good 3rd verse, again! My Rating: 4.4

15. “Hamburger Helper”
Wow… Thought it said, “Hamburger Helicopter,” on tha title, lol… >>> Beat sounds good, on a mainstream, southern tip. Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse, and you comin’ through wit good shit… Talk about “resting in peace”: Whether you got tha piece next to you or not, a “rest in peace” atmosphere’s always around you and who you encounter! Damn! That’s raw! Nice hook, too! Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse, and you get yourself into a DMX-like rap sheet, it sounds like? It’s like, how can you not luv DMX? You must be tha laidback version of him in Baton Rouge? What I mean by laidback iz not soft: I mean, he usually growls on tha track; you just spit this shit wit a regular voice. And, keepin’ this shit goin’, you got tha “Lasagna” fa these people! Even more “eat dat dick up” shit fa you and your 29-year-old-ass, lol! My Rating: 4.3

16. “Gun Smoke”
Endin’ it with this… >>> Sounds like a faster vibe… Feelin’ tha shit you spittin’, Spitta, once again! Tha hook sounds nice, on some “Soulja Slim” sample shit! Can’t believe this Thanksgiving Eve gon be a decade since he was murdered! Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ nice, too! Looks like we gon have room fa a 3rd verse? Maybe, an outro? Let’s see… Yea, sounds like an outro gon come ‘cause tha hook repeats… Yup, got an outro from DJ Chill, here! Too bad “mixtape;” guess albums are faggy, now? I mean, this actually sounds like a “mixtape,” so at least it ain’t in a fake format! Still, people are obsessed! My Rating: 4.4

Overall: Exactly an hour-long review, here! And, you can’t be stopped, Spitta!! You brought tha heat on every track!!! No fillers, here!! Tha collaborations and beats were off tha chain!! Keep up tha great work!! Not sure how important or how much longer I gon last after you see this review, but if you do want some video work done, and wanna be creative by lettin’ my creative talent do tha talkin’, then, hit me up! If not, I guess this anotha CD just bein’ a fart in tha wind, no matter how well I rated it!

Review #1,256: Lem "Swagger Season"

Reviewed on 2.02.2013 (Review #1,256)

Bayou Entertainment & Yz’Gyz Entertainment presents this next review: Lem—of Badd Nooze—Swagger Season; definitely not feelin’ tha CD title at all! Start Time: 2:15 PM | End Time: 2:25 PM

Review #1,093: DJ Titanik "DJ Titanik Strikes Back (Hosted by K-Chill)"

Reviewed on 12.09.2011 (Review #1,093)

Finally gettin’ some free time to do some reviewz… Tha 1st one I have today iz DJ Titanik DJ Titanik Strikes Back (Hosted by K-Chill)! Rappin’? Producin’? What could I expect?! Really excited, especially since Titanik and a bunch others are nominated for various awards on my 4th Annual Louisiana Awards of 2011, airing on YouTube on December 31, 2011!!! Start Time: 11:55 AM | End Time: 12:36 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! 01. Big Poppa “Playing With Me”
Ooh, a compilation CD, it looks like? Iz every joint produced by you, Titanik? Really lookin’ forward to gettin’ into this!! >>> ROFL, K-Chill comin’ through real hard on tha intro!!! Sounds like an okay song; tha beat could be much better, though, since there’s not much goin’ on wit it… Also, sounds like a really long 1st verse; yada-yada-yada from Big Poppa, here, yawn… Tha 2nd verse iz almost like tha 1st verse, too; lol @ all these threats and predictions, smh. My Rating: 3.5

02. Ville Boyz Feat. Young Ready “’Bout Dat”
Looks familiar? *Checks* Yea; why no Young Ready listed on tha back cover? Heard this a while ago… My Current Rating: 4.7

03. Delwin The Krazyman Feat. DJ B-Real “Get It Up There”
New song? >>> Damn, what’s up wit tha jokes, lower sound quality, incorrect titles (“You Don’t Like Me”?), and not-sourced people?! DJ B-Real on tha feature!! My Current Rating: 4.5

04. Webbie Feat. Beezy Bird “Baddest Bitch In Here”
>>> Anotha one wit no source on tha feature; fuck! Beezy Bird goin’ “bow” in tha background! Everything sounds good, but lol @ tha cockiness; literally, automatically assumin’ you can get tha “baddest bitch,” even just a “bitch”? ROFL, just ended outta nowhere! My Rating: 4.2

05. C-Loc Feat. Young Ready & Tank Jones “They Don’t Know”
Huh? Now, tha damn features are listed? Why? Plus, Young Ready left C-Loc’s Camp Life Entertainment a while ago; iz this really old? >>> Almost sounds famil—fuck!!! This from 2007: Under That Old Law CD, and iz correctly titled: “They Don’t Know About Me”, smh! Very ironic dat I’m reviewin’/hearin’ music that I reviewed in 2008; tha whole night, last night, I was fixin’ files, all from 2008! Funny how 2008 can come outta nowhere so many times! My Current Rating: 4.7

06. K-Chill “Take It Outside”
LOL. My Current Rating: 4.6

½time: LOL, what’s up wit this compilation? No wonder why Ned of tha Get Live Clique said new shit’s comin’, smh! But, lots of flashback bangers that values this CD at a 4.4, currently!!!! Since Lil’ Ken produced “Take It Outside”, I guess this eliminates this compilation from bein’ a full, DJ Titanik-produced project?

07. Big Poppa Feat. Big B “Top Notch”
Oh no, not tha same artists, too… >>> Gotta deal wit tha novelty intro, too, smh; no new pluses on this CD? Anyway, this sounds good; betta than that song that started off tha CD! I still don’t know how everyone assumes they can get a “bitch” so easily… Well, looks like anotha error on this CD: some dude by tha name of Big B, who I think’s on tha beat, too, iz on tha 2nd verse; okay job… Continuin’ wit Big Poppa on tha 3rd verse, doin’ a good job… My Rating: 4.1

08. Badd Nooze “Mental Home”
Saw tha artist name first; how in tha hell did I get tha song? Weird, and this iz novelty times for me, despite tha rating. My Current Rating: 4.5

09. Get Live Clique Feat. DJ Titanik “Real Retarded”
Finally, a DJ Titanik production?!? We’re on song #9, now! Pretty pathetic that you left yourself outta tha feature, wtf?! My Current Rating: 4.9

10. YB “Take Notes”
Neva heard it, or tha artist—I don’t think, before. >>> Good DJ Titanik & K-Chill beginning! Almost sounds like Beezy Bird wit tha “bow” in tha background, but I’m sure it ain’t. Anotha cocky song? Tha beat sounds familiar; now, I hear certain beat sounds, such as “Some Cut”? “Watch My Shoes”? Crazy voice, but I dunno how much of it I can take… Anotha dude that assumes he can get a “bitch”? If I told you that I was a virgin, would you do serious business wit me? Even though I can’t feel it too much, right now, I think tha rhymes are crazy and consistent… Hope you know how ta spend that “money” that you say you have; we would be able to do buku business, if that’s tha case. My Rating: 4.6

11. DJ Big Wayne Feat. Money Bagz “Bucking & Jumping”
What tha…; why iz this here? I thought this was a DJ Titanik CD? Waiting for tha “pending” thing to be removed, first, before I even acknowledge; skips! My Rating: N/A

12. T-Money “Ride That Dick”
Don’t think I know who this iz, but it looks really unanticipatin’ (unless it’s pretty hyper); a mix of two played-out, typical things: “money” and hoes, hoes, hoes… >>> I like tha classic flow, over a DJ Titanik-soundin’ beat. Kinda not for me, but I think this iz pretty tight… I like how this song has a bridge (“I know you [18] [22] and I know you ain’t a juvie”); when was tha last time I heard a Louisiana song wit a bridge, lol? I guess I was right wit “DJ Titanik” bein’ on “tha beat;” easily was able to guess in tha beginning! My Rating: 4.4

13. K-Chill “Outro”
No ID on #13 so I’ll just assume it’s an outro from K-Chill? >>> Yup, sounds like it, even sayin’ tha word, “outro,” too, lol! Don’t I “break records”? Hope there’s a FrankieThaLuckyDog speech soon! “$100 a song”? What kinda price iz dat? Me, it’s $20 to be on my mixtape compilations. “Ain’t no talkin’ on tha phone;” kinda like what I did to most people that barely fuck wit me, or fucked me over, so I agree wit how you feel! Plus, I’m gettin’ older, too, so I gotta keep evolvin’! My Rating: N/A

Overall: Lots of known songs, weirdness, and a pretty-good compilation, overall! When an actual DJ Titanik project comes out, then, I’ll be pretty anticipated!

Rankings:

11. Big Poppa “Playing With Me” 3.5
10. Big Poppa Feat. Big B “Top Notch” 4.1
09. Webbie Feat. Beezy Bird “Baddest Bitch In Here” 4.2
08. T-Money “Ride That Dick” 4.4
07. Badd Nooze “Mental Home” 4.5
06. Delwin The Krazyman Feat. DJ B-Real “Get It Up There” 4.5
05. K-Chill “Take It Outside” 4.6
04. YB “Take Notes” 4.6
03. Ville Boyz Feat. Young Ready “’Bout Dat” 4.7
02. C-Loc Feat. Young Ready & Tank Jones “They Don’t Know” 4.7

Review #1,075: Spitta "Menace II Society"

Reviewed on 9.30.2011 (Review #1,075)

Squeezin’ in anotha review for today, here’s my review for Spitta, of Badd Nooze, Menace To Society! Start Time: 11:59 PM | End Time: 1:04 AM

If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I already love it. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating! Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Intro”
Time ta start dis thang off!! >>> Why can’t tha producer be a virgin? Semi-virgin, though, when it comes to acknowledgin’ things, at least, smh. But, at least you’re really consistent wit tha rappin’; holdin’ shit down to tha fullest! My Rating: 4.5

02. “Knuckle Head” Feat. Clever Kev
Good title, includin’ good perspective, attitude, and possibly feature! >>> Good intro; sounds like it could be a good skit or somethin’. Sounds like an official hook goin’ on, here… Good shit you got goin’ on wit tha 1st verse; you bring it to tha table without even needin’ ta breathe, lol! Must be Clever Kev on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some tightness, too, just like if he was your brother, cousin, or somethin’. Nice job wit tha 3rd verse, too, Mista Spitta, lol; basically, you “be [everywhere]!” My Rating: 4.5

03. “(BR) Back Stabbers”
Wonder what dis gon be… >>> EQ beat; sounds good for tha start. This almost reminds me of tha “BRPD” wit how you deliver tha hook; nice “Baton Rouge” version of it, lol. Once again, you comin’ through wit tha tightness, no matter what you be on, all tha time! My Rating: 4.6

04. “Benz” Feat. Lem
>>> Have I heard this before? Not 100% sure but this iz catchy wit you on tha hook wit all tha repetitiveness, soundin’ consistent as fuck! LOL, sounds like you got ditched like crazy on tha 1st verse; pretty bad… but tha rhymes kick ass, of course! Lem did a nice job, too, as well as you keepin’ it consistent; hope I see some of all this “money” from you, soon. My Rating: 4.4

05. “Eat Dat Dick Up”
LOL… >>> EQ beat; wonder when I’ll be sayin’ this title? Pretty funny/entertainin’ hook, especially wit how you’re polite wit not liftin’ “[your] pants up,” rofl! Definitely feelin’ this, especially dat you made it into an anthem! ROFL @ “so my dick don’t get tha hiccups;” wildin’ out like crazy!!! My Rating: 4.7

06. Menace “Skit”
? >>> Good job for puttin’ a skit, here! My Rating: N/A

07. “I Deliver”
Yes, sir! >>> Sounds like a nice start, here; J Buc doin’ a pretty-good job wit tha beat, too… For me, this iz like that expected anthem that you gotta be accepted into likin’, of course! Nice shit wit tha 2nd verse, wit a slowed-down version of Mystikal on tha flow, lol! Comin’ through like “McDonalds,” lol; you crazy!! My Rating: 4.5

08. “Represent” Feat. Young Ready & Clever Kev
Guess it’s Young Ready on tha feature, since it just says “Ready” on tha back cover, lol? >>> Distorted start wit a J Buc beat tag, once again; likin’ tha long, distorted intro! Good shit, as you’re scorchin’ your way through tha verse! Ooh, Ready comin’ through on tha 2nd verse wit a great, fired-up attitude!! Wow, more consistent than a ma’fucka!!! Gotta luv tha angry voice and consistency; keep it up, Ready!! Good lil’ contribution from Clever Kev, too, on tha 3rd verse, although Ready’s anger outshines everything! My Rating: 4.7

09. Menace “Skit”
LOL, here we go again, great style! >>> Sounds like we’re in tha ‘90s or somethin’ wit tha beat, lol; I like how this “high school” skit sounds. My Rating: N/A

10. “Freestyle”
>>> Tha beginning almost reminded me of tha Ke’noe/Chamillionaire joint from 2004 (first time I heard Chamillionaire), “Big Faces”, or somethin’ like dat, which boosted my anticipation! As far as what you’re bringin’ here, it’s great; not much ta say but good job! My Rating: 4.3

11. “Mental Home (Remix)” Feat. Lem & Level
And, of course, Lem, lol? >>> Yea, on an extended length style. Great contribution; sounds like somethin’ on a mainstream station when Level says, “this tha remix,” ya dig? Haven’t heard someone say dat in a long-ass time! But yea, as always, tha rest iz still good… My Rating: 4.9

12. “Walk U Down”
>>> Sounds creepy in tha beginning, courtesy of EQ! Really feelin’ tha production, here, and you’re comin’ through wit some great rhymes, as always, 225 style! My Rating: 4.5

½time: Pureness, to tha fullest, of course; you know what it iz wit a 4.6 CD rating, currently!!!!!!

13. Menace “Skit”
Yes, anotha one! >>> I like how it’s a street skit, “187” style! My Rating: N/A

14. “Choppas Hit ‘Em” Feat. Clever Kev
Everytime I see Clever Kev on tha feature, I keep thinkin’ it’s Carter Boy outta tha 985, lol. >>> This sounds good, too, as it’s strictly for tha streetz, underground and in tha dark style! Nice job from Clever Kev, too; really feelin’ tha street image goin’ on, here, too! By tha way, tha hook’s pretty nice, too, wit this random “choppas” sample goin’ on! My Rating: 4.6

15. Menace “Skit”
LOL, x4 on ‘em! >>> LOL, over a minute this time? Glad they’re gettin’ longer! I like how this iz talkin’ about a useless person, lol. My Rating: N/A

16. “Down Bitch”
>>> I took a shit on a rapper yesterday… physically! By thinkin’ this a fightin’ song, it sounds like an energetic song fa tha “down [bitches]!” Good job fa all tha gangsta shit you bringin’ to tha table, as always! My Rating: 4.7

17. “Nigga Ah Gangsta” Feat. Level
Looks like it gon be good, of course! >>> Not bad for tha start; prolly could’ve had a betta attitude, here, but it’s all good. Oh, tha hook has a lil’ bit of an attitude from you, here! Ooh, Level on tha 2nd verse! “Don’t fuck wit me; I’m tha shit up in this toilet, nigga;” lol, ironic! I just mentioned dat “shit” in tha previous song’s review, only Level wasn’t in tha toilet, lol! Definitely a nice job from Level, of course; just makes me wanna like this more! My Rating: 4.6

18. “All Around Da Board”
Catchy title… >>> Interestin’ concept; feelin’ how you deliverin’ this shit, as always! So much shit you have packed wit you, lol; you got big-ass Girbauds wit buku pockets or somethin’, lol? That’s what I be wearin’ when it comes ta goin’ ta places and carryin’ CDs. For some reason, I keep thinkin’ this iz some quick song but it’s 4:02; either way, good job… “And all my weed imported.” My Rating: 4.4

19. Menace “Skit”
#5! >>> On tha “bitch” side, here; nice ta hear… My Rating: N/A

20. “Alotta Bitches”
>>> Really interestin’ beat sounds in tha beat, here!! Wonder who this magical producer iz?! Anyway, it feels like tha early 2000s when I’m hearin’ this! Not too bad wit tha rhymes but tha beat’s really capturin’ my attention, here, lol. Sounds like an outro, here? Aren’t there five more songs? Hell of a lot of dialect goin’ on; I can’t even picture how y’all make all this happen, especially wit multiple people!! Crazy…; unexplainable!! Juvenile “Set It Off” randomly at tha end? My Rating: 4.4

21. “Freestyle”
Even though there’s four songs afta this, this one’s tha last one I have. >>> Good beat ta rap on, once again, whateva it iz. Good job wit tha consistent-ass rhymes and punchlines!! Really likin’ tha “3Deep” and “shells” combo; you know what it iz wit Shell (Young Thugga)! So much ta offer, here!! My Rating: 4.6

22. “Tear Da Klub” Feat. Slummy Sonny & Level
Tha back cover was a lil’ cut-off so Level looked cut off. However, I see it’s on YouTube, so I can review it! Lookin’ forward ta hearin’ tha new Slummy Sonny person! *Review instantly stops ‘cause Janis Joplin’s part on VH1’s 100 Greatest Artists iz on!* >>> Definitely an anthem, here, wit tha hook between you and Level!! Prolly one of tha best ones on here, too!! Anotha beat dat samples “Rocky Balboa”, in a great way, once again! Slummy Sonny’s a Big Truck Ent. dude; let’s see what he’s got ta offer… Ooh, feelin’ what he bringin’ to tha “mental patients” and all dat! Would like dat Da Gangsta & Da Mack CD dat I see in tha slideshow! Feelin’ what Level bringin’ to tha 3rd verse, includin’ tha “if you beefin’ wit Lil’ Ernest, then you beefin’ wit me” part, which I wonder why that iz? My Rating: 4.8

23. “Freestyle”
Can’t find… My Rating: N/A

24. “Ride Down”
Too short of a title, so I couldn’t find, even on YouTube. My Rating: N/A

25. “The End”
Outro or track, too easy of a title, so I couldn’t find this, too. My Rating: N/A

Overall: Once again, you proved ta kick ass!! Tha only problem iz, you neva sent me a hard copy; wasn’t I gonna be tha 1st one to get it? I seem like tha last one to peep it out, addin’ more to my “loser” status, smh. But, good job, as always…
