Review #409: DJ Scrap "Duffy (Hosted by Lil' Cali)"

Reviewed on 4.22.2010 (Review #409)

An energetic vs. tired FrankieThaLuckyDog here, in tha buildin’ wit a compilation review! At first, I thought it was a full Lil’ Cali mixtape, but after seein’ some of tha titles, I figured out it’s a compilation! Wit late night excitement, here goes my review for DJ Scrap “Duffy (Hosted by Lil’ Cali)”! Start Time: 11:59 PM | End Time: 1:33 AM

Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. Lil’ Cali “Intro”
Let’s see what he’ll bring for tha intro here on this mixtape… >>> Sounds like it gon be a HOT mixtape!! My Rating: N/A

02. Juvenile Feat. Gucci Mane “Gotta Get It (Remix)”
LOL, this made it… Too bad I didn’t see this much in tha mainstream… This iz tha type of beat style I usually hear from Juvie. I always luved his voice on this Rap shit, lol. Tha hook iz pretty cool fa what it iz wit tha “gotta get it” voice. He sounds pretty good wit his rappin’ on tha 1st verse; good flow here once again. And now dat I’m hearin’ Gucci on tha 2nd verse, it’s soundin’ like it flows aight although I rather hear Juvie to tha fullest!! And it’s weird dat I say dat ‘cause I played tha remix instead of tha original. My Current Rating: 4.2

03. Lil’ Cali “Gotta Get Flow”
Not likin’ tha non-sourced artists; I have to just guess tha songs… >>> LOL, I had an idea it was Cali. Catchy rhymes here; good Cali. Nice job wit tha 1st verse and how you’re comin’ through on it. I like tha mixin’ @ 1:02; cool. What’s up wit tha “Forever” ending? My Rating: 4.1

04. Drake Feat. Kanye West, Lil’ Wayne & Eminem “Forever (Remix)”
I reviewed a “Forever (Remix)” not too long ago but don’t even remember who it was… Might’ve been IL Duce? What’ll this version be? >>> Boo @ this bein’ tha longest song on here and I’m hearin’ Drake in tha beginning; where’s tha Louisiana flava? This iz gay; doesn’t belong here. No review and I’m not givin’ it a serious rating. Actually, when tha beat switched to “Uh Oh” and Eminem hopped on, it sounded MUCH, MUCH betta!!! That’s tha only part I took serious… My Rating: 3.4

05. Lil’ Cali “Uh Oh Flow”
Don’t even remember if I reviewed this flow but here’s an updated review… >>> Cool that Cali’s on this beat. Tha beginning of tha 1st verse sounds pretty familiar… Consistent rhymes here! My Rating: 4.0

06. Mouse On Tha Track Feat. Lil’ Trill & Lil’ Boosie “Rubbin’ On My Head (Remix)”
This still has tha gr8 hook and beat! Tha 1st verse sounds cool fa what it iz. I think tha original sounded betta though especially wit tha flow and tha catchy content. I dunno about tha start to tha 2nd verse wit Lil’ Trill on it… At least he luvs “tha mirror” here, lol. Okay job for tha 2nd verse but it’s cool fa othaz ta contribute. Now Boosie had a better start ta his verse than Lil’ Trill; gotta luv his flow at all times! He goin’ nuts wit all these rhymes, lol! They like NEVA ended and were too much, lol!! <- To add: Sounds like a NICE set of mixin’ wit tha beats in tha beginning! Too bad this iz anotha mixtape dat excluded Lil’ Chrissa’s verse. My Current Rating: 4.8

07. Kevin Gates “Head 2 My Toes”
ROFL @ all this déjà vu goin’ on here wit this mixtape vs. 3 Way Street Radio’s “Jigg City Rockstars 3”… I think Guss did this beat? It’s a cool-ass beat and sounds REAL GR8 wit Gates on it!! Tha hook may be simple but it sounds GR8 wit tha flow on tha verses!! And continunin’ on wit what I just said, his flow iz just REAL GR8 and catchy wit this beat to tha fullest!! <- To add: Weird title ID of “Head To Toes Clean;” it’s “Head 2 My Toes.” I like all tha effects in tha vocals and shit, especially durin’ tha 2nd hook! My Current Rating: 4.6

08. Young Jeezy Feat. Lil’ Wayne “Scared Money”
Why?? >>> Sounds betta than typical mainstream music; cool beat… No comment (due to lack of interest) for tha 1st verse but I like tha hook/beat style! Fuck, Wayne’s on tha 2nd verse? Why? No comment on his verse but it didn’t fit me. My Rating: 3.7

09. B.G. Feat. Soulja Slim, Lil’ Boosie & C-Murder “Nigga Owe Me Some Money”
“Nigga” and “Some” are missin’ in tha title… Sounds like a good Soulja Slim sample here ta fill tha hook on this good beat! You’re here on tha 1st verse, Gizzle! Nice job deliverin’ some catchy hood shit here. C-Murder’s on tha 2nd verse here! He sounds pretty good, ALWAYS reppin’ STRONG on any track/feature!! Glad he came through and now, let’s see what Boosie’s got ta offer on tha 3rd verse! He sounds GR8 wit tha flow once again and tha style he comin’ wit iz GR8 on tha mic! DEFINITELY some good shit right chea!! My Current Rating: 4.4

10. Max Minelli Feat. Derty “Get Up Off Me”
What’s this song wit my gurl Alexia’s birthday on tha length? >>> Incorrect title here (“Get Out The Way”?); this “Get Up Off Me” from Max Minelli & Derty! Gotta feel tha Shonta feel here; he got some gutta/dark beats!! Tha hook sounds pretty good; you comin’ through, Max, representin’ your tough side! Max sounds catchy on tha 1st verse; REAL GR8 flow here as he’s goin’ crazy! As much as tha 1st verse sounded cool wit tha way he delivered it, tha 2nd verse sounds pretty cool too; nice job wit tha catchy rhymes. ROFL, here comes Derty on tha 3rd verse!! He sounded REAL GR8 fa contributin’, includin’ dat he sung Mookie Blakk’s “Rocky Balboa.” Nice job wit this collaboration right chea, ya dig! Kick-ass style here!! My Current Rating: 4.4

11. Delwin The Krazyman Feat. Mouse & T Mck “Swiggin’ (Remix)”
Nice job from T Mck on tha intro wit how you really be “swiggin’!” Tha beginning sounds gr8; I don’t know about hearin’ all tha “Nu$$ie” shit; doesn’t fit in tha song! Tha 1st verse from Delwin iz (of course) hot; nice job wit his rappin’! You KNOW I luv his flow and how he comes through on tha tracks!! Tha hook DEFINITELY hot; I really like tha title and tha “I’m—I’m feelin’ good” shit although that’s from Short Bus Boyz “Loosen Up.” Interestin’ ta have Mouse on this shit; buku “swiggin’” goin’ on here in tha 2nd verse! Not bad from Mouse although he luvs this song! T Mck had a gr8 outro too on this! My Current Rating: 4.5

12. Down Bad Feat. Louisiana Ca$h & Derty “Locs On”
I heard a completely different “Loc’s On” song from rappers Dog & Tech; that one iz betta so far than this. But, this iz pretty catchy at tha same time. Tha hook pretty catchy fa everyone so it’ll be a worldwide plus, lol. Louisiana Ca$h had an above average 1st verse here. What will we have next? Jack Da Rippa here on tha 2nd verse; LMAO @ his 2010 “So Whopped” rendition! Definitely felt dat line and he did a pretty good job on his verse; you KNOW he hella catchy!! Derty’s left so let’s see what he’ll have… ROFL, it’s Terror!! Nice job from him deliverin’ his raps! JR comes through on tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse; nice and lol @ tha “Wipe Me Down” part (again, still hearin’ dat quote). This iz different… there were three parts to tha verse ‘cause Derty snuck in on tha 3rd 1/3 of tha 3rd verse. Again, where’s tha energy? I thought he’d come through like a beast or somethin’, lol. An okay job from him… My Current Rating: 4.3

13. Lil’ Phat Feat. Pimp C & Webbie “NBA Players”
What song iz this? >>> More non-Louisiana music but not criticizable in tha beginning wit Pimp C… Oh, I know this (Lil’ Phat on tha hook). Anotha incorrect title here as tha original source (“Death Before Dishonor” CD) called this “NBA Ballers”. Sounded like a catchy start from Pimp C and tha beat! He DEFINITELY did tha damn thang on tha 1st verse and now, tha hook iz here from you, Phat, and it’s DEFINITELY catchy too! I like tha whole “NBA” theme fa this one! Speakin’ of tha “NBA,” Phat, your “shoulder hurt” on tha start to tha 2nd verse; that “shoulder hurt” part applies GR8 to tha theme! You even spittin’ some on topic lyrics here unlike tha “High As A MF” song! DEFINITELY a pretty good 2nd verse from you! We got Webbie remainin’ so let’s see what he got!! He still comin’ through wit a GR8 attitude like tha last song on here!! Nice job wit tha collaboration, Webbie! And Phat, props on gettin’ this collaboration ta make it a GR8 song!! My Current Rating: 4.5

14. Young Dro Feat. J Futuristic “Don’t Know Y’all”
Anotha clueless title… >>> Oh, I know this; this ain’t Louisiana but I remember this video bein’ in a weird effect color or somethin’. I neva got ta play this; was real busy when this came out so I neva got ta get it but it’s a cool song. Once again, cool-ass song but why iz it here? My Current Rating: 4.3

15. Savage Speaks
Shit yea!! Let’s see what we got here!! >>> Likin’ tha unexpected check in! Didn’t realize he popped in so fast…; good shit! My Rating: N/A

½time: Lookin’ good wit tha mixtape so far but I already knew most of tha songs on here already. Plus, what’s wit tha non-Louisiana songs? Average CD rating iz currently a 4.2; thumbs up!

16. One-i Feat. Savage & Lil’ Cali “Sick Wit It (Remix)”
No wonder why Savage was before this; nice job wit this song bein’ on here! Thumbs up to a remix bein’ created; lemme hear it! >>> Funny beat here (oh, that’s tha continuation from tha last one); not sure if it fits… Shit, a clean version too? Not too positive so far… Tha beat didn’t change or nothin’… Once again, weird but cool at tha same time wit tha good rhymes/people. My Rating: 3.8

17. Charlie Boy Feat. Slim Thug, Juvenile & Bun B “I Look Good (Remix)”
I think I might know what this iz…; anotha remix, huh? >>> Yes, it iz; more non-shit. Tha “I” iz missin’ in tha title; boo… Tha beat sounds borin’ and not even on a remix tip… I neva reviewed this song before but I know it… Not feelin’ tha gay singin’. Shit no, it gets worse wit tha hook… A lil’ normal wit Slim Thug on tha 2nd verse, thank God. I can’t even name who’s on tha 3rd verse (EDIT: Oh, it’s Juvenile, lol); I might look it up towards tha end of this review. Damn, how many verses on this gay song? At least it’s a normal person (Bun B) on tha 4th verse. My Rating: 2.1

18. Scratch Break
Interestin’… >>> Interestin’ without tha gay song that was on previously! My Rating: N/A

19. “Dip”
??? >>> Shonta beat (from previously). Sounds familiar but I hope it’s not a fuck up title; who tha hell iz this? Tha hook sounds like “So Whopped.” My Rating: 3.9

20. One-i Speaks
Let’s hear him… >>> Cool shit, One-i. My Rating: N/A

21. One-i “Walk Wit A Dip Flow”
“With” iz “Wit” and tha “A” iz missin’ in tha title… Anyway, let’s hear this flow. >>> He fit good on this; I thought I was expectin’ Cali for a second. Interestin’ rhymes on this song. My Rating: 4.2

22. Savage & Young Ready Feat. Level “Take Dat”
Prolly would’ve wanted “Pussazz” wit Dirty Harry but this iz anotha gr8 one too! Sounds like an energetic Savage style for tha start!! Ready doin’ tha damn thang here on tha hook!! His “turn swag on” part at least ain’t gay and iz official!! I LUV tha 2nd ½ of tha hook; it’s like damage inflicted: “take dat!!” Ready even spittin’ REAL HOT shit fa tha 1st verse!! Yea, his “rhymes they like cocaine!!” Savage got tha 2nd verse on lock, REALLY spittin’ some unblockable shit here!! DEFINITELY fa tha hood right here wit consistent rhymes; everything fa tha streetz!! I luv tha “bruh” part, lol! You KNOW it’s official when you’re in Baton Rouge!!! Talk about hot GR8 tha 3rd verse from Level sounds!! He has a HUGE flow when it comes ta rappin’; DEFINITELY varies in HUGE wayz!! Okay lyrics but tha way he spit dat verse was DEFINITELY tha shit!!! Luved how he came in tha beginning wit it!!! My Current Rating: 4.7

23. Teph Speaks
Let’s hear him… >>> Glad he came through ta represent, ya dig. I knew he was gonna give out his numba fa some reason ‘cause I was thinkin’ ‘bout my boy Young Hits, who had a skit on DeTrane’s “Jigg City Radio Vol. 4” CD and gave out his numba too. Good shit; I’m lockin’ it in! My Rating: N/A

24. Teph “O Let’s Do It Flow”
Tha letter “O” iz missin’ in tha title… Anyway,… >>> Catchy voice here and catchy attention here incomin’ and outgoin’! Would like ta hear this dude on an original beat next time! It should be pretty good. My Rating: 3.9

25. Birdman Feat. Lil’ Wayne & Drake “Money To Blow (Remix)”
Oh no… >>> Not really called for again although tha “O Let’s Do It” beat sounds not bad on here; nothin’ special though. WTF? Tha main person (Birdman) ain’t on this? It’s his song. Lil’ Wayne was 2nd? Weird mix… Neva mind, I hear him towards tha end. My Rating: 2.4

26. “Cock N Aaim”
What’s this song? Who’s on tha rappin’ here? Double “a” wit tha “aim!” >>> Tried to make out his name but couldn’t detect it… This sounds REAL good for a start for a new song/new artist/new beat!! Nice dark theme here fa a start and tha verse iz REAL HOT wit tha rhymes!! DEFINITELY tha BEST new song on here!! My Rating: 4.4

27. Puppy Feat. Lil’ J “Ass Real Fat”
LOL… >>> Don’t think I know this song too but it’s a lil’ familiar. Kinda typical for a start but it has a good feel to it. A lotta rappin’ here it sounds like… A feature here from Lil’ J; I wonder if it’s vice-versa? Either way, *remembers* oh yea, I know this and no, it ain’t vice-versa; it’s Puppy Feat. Lil’ J “Ass Real Fat”. Damn @ me not rememberin’ this for a second. Lemme pull up my previous feedback: I can prolly name tha producer by tha way tha beat sounds, but for some reason, I can’t think of it? …Not sure but Puppy actually said who it was (“Hits” on tha track? EDIT: Young Hits? Shit yea!). Tha hook sounds pretty good, although kinda regular, and not much extremely excitin’ goin’ on, lol (even wit tha beat changin’ or whateva). Either way, good shit and you did ya thang on tha 1st verse, Pup. He REALLY wants dat ass!! Here we go wit Lil’ J on tha 2nd verse! I think I gon like him much betta on this one. Soundin’ GREAT wit tha way he rappin’ and what he actually spittin’ on dis; good shit! My Current Rating: 3.9

28. Lil’ Cali Speaks
>>> Sounds like tha intro and I’m likin’ how he came through here. My Rating: N/A

29. Lil’ Cali Feat. Mouse “Ric Flair (Remix)”
LOL/ROFL!! Mouse beat here and it sounds pretty anticipatin’; he even “wahhhhh”in’ in tha beginning. He doin’ his thang on tha hook; one of tha BIGGEST/BEAT beasts on tha hooks!!! Cali’s on tha 1st verse here and I like how his voice iz slightly different from otha mixtapes. Plus, his music sounds pretty GOOD once again compared to all those odd female songs in tha past!! Nice job on tha 1st verse, Cali; tore it up!! Here comes tha 2nd verse; who iz it? Catchy voice dat sounds like Dolla (R.I.P.). Let’s see what we got for tha 3rd verse… It a Mouse verse and he always sounds great on tha mic! LOL @ tha “well, FUCK IT!!” part! Nice job on tha verse, Mouse. Cali, you had tha best vesre on this song. <- To add: Anotha clean version, lol? It’s mixed so what’s tha use? How ‘bout a dirty version? Mouse iz like Q-Red (even though this iz older); he’s “TO PARTICLES!!!!!” My Rating: 4.3

30. “Make It Clap”
Last song; I wonder what it iz… I was lookin’ for a tracklisting but I couldn’t find anything. >>> I hear tha name in tha beginning but I can’t figure out who it iz… Tha introduction gets me a lil’ unanticipated… Tha hook a lil’ plain but tha beat cool. Sounds like DJ Big Wayne on tha beat around tha :44 mark! I said dat on a song a while ago but I don’t think I eva heard this song before… Tha rest just jams good but it ain’t nothin’ fa me ta have extreme joy about. My Rating: 3.6

Overall: Not bad of a mixtape… Good average CD rating but I knew a bunch of tha songs. Even if I reviewed this mixtape when I got it, I still knew a bunch of tha songs from a while ago… All kinds of different seasons in this mixtape.

Review #131: DJ Scrap "I Run Louisiana"

Reviewed on 10.15.2008 (Review No. 131)

Wat up it's FrankieThaLuckyDog here… An aight day so far; nothin' special. I hope this review can brighten thingz up. I'm about to discover anotha DJ, DJ Scrap. I have anticipation for this mixtape, especially since there's 41 jointz on it!! Here goes nothin'… my review for DJ Scrap "I Run Louisiana"!! Start Time: 5:54 PM | Video Game Playing: Secret Of Mana (for Super Nintendo) (on my computer)

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! © 2008 CD Review (Review #131) reviewed on 10.15.2008 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. DJ Scrap Intro
Let's hear how we gon start this really anticipating mixtape off!! >>> Pretty nice mixin' wit that "Louie Bag" beat. I thought you were gonna speak on tha whole intro. It still kept me real anticipated! My Rating: N/A

02. DJ Scrap Feat. One-i & Teph P "Heard About Us"
I just noticed while I was typing both artists and title that I'm REAL glad I'm finally reviewin' anotha compilation!! And you're tha DJ for this joint so this should be nice. High anticipation level to finally start this bitch off!! >>> Interesting mixin' that Boosie in tha hook. I like that. Cool that One-i iz on tha 1st verse… He's doin' tha damn thang (as usual). That chanting in tha background of tha whole joint can be good or bad for me… REAL NICE verse from One-i!! That 2nd verse from Teph P was pretty good. Nice track and real good job for One-i for boilin' tha track up!! My Rating: 4.4

03. Juvenile Feat. T-Pain "Everything"
Heard tha T-Pain part at tha end mixin' on tha last joint and started to get a lil' funny about what was comin' up next. But it's Juvie so there could be hope here… >>> Sounds like a song I heard on Crescent City Radio… Yeah, I give this joint credit here so no worries. That was a nice hook T-Pain and nice beat too on this. Yeah, pretty nice part from Juvie. Hope this joint does well in tha future 'cause if it doesn't do well in tha mainstream, it'll just do its thang in Louisiana, since it sounds Louisianastream to me. My Rating: 4.0

04. Young Buck Feat. Lil' Boosie "Damn Right I'm Bout Mines"
A lil' borderline Louisiana here (since it's just a LA feature). Still lookin' forward wit Boosie on it! >>> Yeah, Boosie doin' tha damn thang on this! Real good on tha feature!! Well, there was barely any of Young Buck but still good here. My Rating: 4.2

05. Lil' Shine Feat. Lil' Boosie & Webbie "Check Out My Lean"
VERY HIGH anticipation on this mega-combo!!! >>> Wow it's only 1:39, that's disappointing. Okay, hook's tellin' me it's a dance type of song. That seems to disappoint me more. Pretty nice part from Boosie on tha 1st ½ of tha 1st verse. Webbie was bouncin' back n forth to tha beat, soundin' good. Not my type of song I'd really like; sorry Shine. My Rating: 3.2

06. T-Bo Feat. Max Minelli & Benji B "We Riding"
World premiere I see… I can tell this gon be a lot better! Definitely lookin' forward!! >>> MUCH BETTER!!! Start of tha song startin' off real good! Wow that beat iz REAL TIGHT!!! Great beginning and now Max… Yeah, GREAT PART from Max! Benji soundin' real nice on his part. All 3 of them doin' it REAL NICE for this joint! Finally, tha hook came and it's great. This turned out to be REAL NICE in all its wayz!! My Rating: 4.6

07. Juvenile "Friends Turn Enemies"
Let's see this one from him also… Interesting title. >>> Okay tha beat got a lil' better towards tha :20 mark. I like it better than tha T-Pain collabo; great shit again! Good job Juvie on your nice one minute of greatness! My Rating: 4.1

08. Shu Feat. Foxx "Bust It Open"
Who's Shu? I'm glad I'm discoverin' a lot of new cats here! High anticipation 'cause of Foxx on tha feature (you know I got lots of luv for Foxx)!! Hope there's no sample in tha title! >>> Good, just what I wanted! No sample on tha title and a KICK-ASS beat!! Great hook! Shu had a nice 1st verse. Now I'm hearin' Foxx… And of course, he doin' his thang on this. Good job Foxx, especially wit tha smokin' parts towards tha end. My Rating: 4.3

09. Big Unk Feat. Lil' Boosie & Hurricane Chris "Fly As Fuck"
You forgot tha "e" in Hurricane. Anyway, good title… Who's tha Unk dude? Hope this iz good…! >>> It's 3:41 so betta be good! Start seems good wit all tha "jigg/swagger" parts. Pretty nice start from Hurricane so far. I like tha fast rappin' at around tha 1:15 part. I don't like tha "since I dropped tha 'A Bay Bay'" part 'cause it's kinda gettin' played from when he said that in his remix to that song. I still enjoyed his part. Anyway, sounds like Big Unk on tha 2nd part… Decent. Boosie iz here on tha 3rd part… Of course, great again from Boosie. I wanted to hear tha hook more though since it's supposed to be "fly as fuck." Okay, it's at tha end wit that mixin' goin' on. Sounds like a great joint iz about to come up! My Rating: 3.6

10. Big Chris "3's Up High"
Anotha world premiere… Don't know this guy so we'll see what he's about… >>> He sounds pretty good tha way he sounds. This should be good wit that nice beat! Not bad so far… I like it, but might need some growin' time for me. Sounds like real good Louisiana music though. I think I like tha 2nd verse A WHOLE LOT better!! Definitely felt that verse… I give this song some credit so thumbs up. Good luck to Big Chris in tha future! My Rating: 3.9

11. DJ Scrap Speaks
Good a lil' break. Let's see what you got to say; lookin' forward! >>> Good on tha promotional tip. Forgot to tell you I like tha name of tha mixtape and on tha cover, instead of tha word "run," you have people runnin'. That looks a lot cooler so thumbs up on that. My Rating: N/A

12. 5150 Ent. Feat. Max Minelli "Do It"
I might know this one. If this iz Camp 5 (a.k.a. Tha Camp a.k.a. Concentration Camp), then expect a great rating!!! >>> Nope, beat don't sound familiar but Tha Camp have a track called "Do It" on their "Break It Off!" CD that came out last year. Q-Red doin' a nice job on tha beat; really like it! Hook sounds almost a like like tha other "Do It" song, only less repetitive. Max startin' off on tha 1st verse and soundin' nice. Ooh, this iz 3:12 long! Tha 2nd dude sounds nice on his part. I'm givin' him credit for givin' this joint some spice. Tha next dude soundin' not bad on his part. I like that mixin' that came outta nowhere when he said, "I'm in this bitch." Soundin' nice here. My Rating: 4.1

13. Birdman Feat. Lil' Wayne "I Run This (Remix)"
LOL how random… *Dies laughin'* It felt like this joint was so long ago… I thought it was gonna be a lil' bigger though… >>> LOL @ only keepin' 1:27 of it. At least it's on here 'cause there's plenty of room on here. Glad to see it here but I hope this iz tha 1st and last of mainstream songs (this tha only one so far that has been on tons of my sources). I always liked Wayne's "I'll have mah goons jack son like Samuel" line. My Current Rating: 4.7
^ I almost thought that was a lil' high for a rating but I've known it for a while and have really liked it. I almost felt like it cheated too, lol. One time I did a review and there was an older song on it and I rated it a current rating of 4.9. It was tha highest rated song on tha CD and I felt like it cheated, lol.

14. Nu$$ie "Mobbin'"
THERE YOU GO, nice transition from Birdman & Weezy to Nu$$ie!! I don't think I know this one but I should be gettin' Nu$$ie's newest shit in tha mail from his manager A1 soon (since he mailed it to me not too long ago). High anticipation on this Nu$$ie joint! >>> Neva mind, I know it but almost thought I didn't know it. Still sounds good. I think I've heard better Nu$$ie jointz but this one gets tha check mark for bein' good. Nice hook too (reminds me of a Louisiana type of anthem). My Current Rating: 4.0

15. DJ Khaled Feat. Akon, Lil' Boosie & Lil' Wayne "Out Here Grindin'"
*Cries* NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! *Random imitation* It's May again! LOL!! It's "grindin'," not "grinding." Kinda got tired of this song and hearin' tha Akon hook but I guess you kept 2 good parts on tha song (Boosie and Wayne). >>> Good thing it's only 1:09. Nice editing wit tha transition from Boosie to Wayne! Gonna give it credit as I don't mind listenin' to this for 69 seconds! Oh well, Akon came on at tha end so that's anotha error on tha ID. I was always a fan of that beat and I like that this was speeded up a lil'. Great part once again from Boosie and Wayne. Real nice that you kept tha beat at tha VERY end and started mixin' it. My Current Rating: 4.3
^ I only rated it from what was kept in tha song and how it was edited.

16. Big Chris "For Nothing"
Anotha world premiere!! I guess you support him or somethin' 'cause this tha 2nd time he's on here (and you said his Myspace before). I got a lot of anticipation for this since Music Choice Dance just premiered Liquid Nation Feat. Andrea Britton "Breathe Life" (which I just recently reviewed and rated 4.9/5.0) so this could be an automatic high rating!! >>> Okay, startin' off real good wit tha 'bauds and shit wit what he's sayin'. I didn't know it was gonna be a freestyle off of tha "Out Here Grindin'" beat but I'm really feelin' it. Great 1st verse and your hook on this sounds gutta! Yeah, gutta shit right chea!! A 2nd verse here, let's see… Great 2nd verse and just real nice soundin'! Definitely really feelin' tha rappin' as it's consistent!! My Rating: 4.3

17. Lil' Josh & Ernest Feat. Hurricane Chris "Jigga Juice"
I'm not likin' this back n forth shit wit tha mainstream song, underground song, mainstream song, underground song shit. This ain't too mainstreamish but still, it's a heavy rotation Music Choice Rap song and it was pretty big. Stupid fuckin' video sources like MTV Jams for ignoring this. That means I neva saw tha video ('cause I thought it was gonna air). This and Dizzy a.k.a. Raw D.I. Feat. Stevie Drumma "Sit Still" got ignored from MTV Jams. Here goes anotha review for this joint. >>> I always really liked tha really young, Rougeish voice in tha 1st verse. I like tha "and a bag of chips" line too. And still like Hurricane's "flyer than a kite/rollin' like a bike" line. No hook? Just rappin' on this? Oh, there it iz while 10 seconds remain. My Current Rating: 4.0

18. DJ Scrap Speaks
What do you got to say now? >>> Only 10 seconds? How short but yeah, keep puttin' out these mixtapes! My Rating: N/A

19. Lil' Boosie "Jigga Juice Flow"
Just like wit Big Chris, a follow up wit a flow/freestyle. I have a feeling I'm gonna like Big Chris's a lot better but let's see Boosie drink some of that "jigga juice" right now. >>> I like that he said "dawg" twice and his rappin' on this iz good. I still give it a thumbs up. I guess 53 seconds iz enough for me (as that's how long it iz). My Rating: 3.8

20. Mannie Fresh Feat. Lil' Wayne "I'mma Get Mine"
Two boo boos here… Wrong title ("I'mma Get Mine") and no The Show on this? Shouldn't've cut that Louisiana dude out. >>> Still sounds nice (as I first heard on Crescent City Radio back in like July). I still think tha whole thing should've been on it without that hook in tha beginning and at tha end (that way, it could've fit better). I'm real interested in that beat that's comin' up!! So since there's no The Show on this, you're gonna get tha rating without him: My Current Rating: 3.7

½time: Feelin' it so far. I think it started weakenin' a lil' towards tha 2nd quarter wit tha somewhat mainstreamish shit but definitely liked that 1st ¼ of tha mixtape! I hope tha rest of it iz a lot less mainstream and more of those underground, Louisiana jointz!!

21. Down Bad Ent. "Holla At Me"
I don't think I know it but YEAH, back to tha undaground shit!! High anticipation level for Down Bad!! >>> Familiar hook. I think I heard it from somewhere (like Crescent City Radio) but this iz real nice! That hook iz real good/catchy and I'm hearin' tha 1st verse so far and enjoyin' it. Still sounds good on tha 2nd verse too. Great shit right here! Love all tha "waaaaaaaaaaah!"s! My Rating: 4.4

22. Mookie "Feel Like I Feel"
Ooh good it didn't alternate; it stayed undaground. Shontae produced this so we'll see how he did on it. Lookin' forward to hearin'!! >>> Sounds like this could be a lil' more on tha mainstream level but not bad so far. This sounds interesting… Startin' to try and focus on it right now… Not bad once again but I can't really say much 'cause only 1:19 iz on here. My Rating: 3.7

23. Savage Feat. Mouse "Work It Out"
Oh wow all of a sudden… *JACKPOT*!!! And it's brand, spankin' new to me so I have no clue what it sounds like!! VERY, VERY HIGH ANTICIPATION LEVEL for Savage & Mouse for this!!! >>> I know Savage likes to "act a donkey" a lot (lol). For a sec, I thought it sounded like it was edited but no, you brought it back. Pretty good on Savage's part. I did hear better from him though but this goes for tha clubs. So Mouse iz next… LOL @ tha "I don't care if you a dike." Not bad but I think this calls for some growin' on me. I was too anticipated again for a song like this. My Rating: 3.6

24. Crowley Redd "So Sick"
Anotha Shontae track… Not havin' any anticipation right now. I'm just gonna get into it and hope it's "so sick"!! >>> Well, it ain't "so sick" for me. Just sounds like your typical, decent Louisiana song. Nothin' really caught my attention but I hope to give more of his songs in tha future a chance. My Rating: 3.2

25. Glasses Malone Feat. Lil' Wayne "Haterz"
Anotha mainstream song… But I FUCKIN' LOVE this one and GREAT video too!! Real glad you put it on here for me to review! I give a WHOLE LOTTA LUCK to Glasses in tha future! I know he gon be one of those real respected rappers, especially from me. Keep doin' yo thang Malone!! >>> Weezy's part iz real good. I rather hear Malone's part but I know this iz a Louisiana mixtape so it's mainly about tha Louisiana artists. That's why Weezy's part iz mainly playin'. Still lovin' it though and I'm glad you kept that NICE hook! My Current Rating: 4.9

26. T-Bo Speaks
Ooh someone else iz speakin'! Watch it be only like 17 seconds or some shit like that… >>> It's only 10 seconds. Sounded good. Let's hope he has a song next!! My Rating: N/A

27. DJ Scrap Feat. T-Bo "Go Hard"
Saw tha title first and I was gettin' real scared that it was gonna be DJ Khaled's song but YES, it IZ T-Bo and you on tha joint!! Really lookin' forward here!!! >>> Not bad so far. I think I rather hear tha rappin' than tha beat on this. Typical "hit it from tha back" lyrics but this might need some growin' on me. Sounds like it could grow 'cause when tha title iz said, it sounds pretty nice. My Rating: 3.8

28. Wochee "Show Me My Opponent"
It's "opponent" (you forgot tha 2nd "n"). Anyway, prolly that usual Weezy sample. Savage did a REAL GOOD job on it so this betta not disappoint!! >>> Because this sample was used so many times, I can't tell if this iz somethin' I heard on Crescent City Radio… Maybe it was but I don't know. For this joint, I'm definitely enjoyin' that beat and tha way tha sample sounded was great, especially wit tha last part of it where it sounds like Lil' Wayne had chips in his mouth. Pretty nice rappin'. This joint iz jammin' right here. CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THAT BEAT COMBININ' WIT THAT HOOK/SAMPLE!!! My Rating: 4.2

29. DJ Scrap Speaks
Let's see watz good now… >>> Nice "This Morning" beat in tha background… So, someone's gonna spit on it next? I have a 95% chance that's what's gon happen. I'm definitely gettin' at you when this review iz done, ya dig! My Rating: N/A

30. Lil' Boosie, Foxx, Juvenile & Webbie "Tatted Up (DJ Scrap Remix)"
Huh? What's this? There was a 5% chance I was WRONG about "This Morning"? LMFAO!!! But who knows, lemme find out. I won't have any anticipation right now. >>> It iz that beat. Didn't expect it on this and wow, it's only 1:42. Boosie soundin' pretty nice in tha beginning. Now let's see Foxx… He definitely sounds like he murderin' this beat wit his rapid-fire rappin' on this! Good shit Foxx! LOL @ tha "tatted up!!!" part from Fabo outta nowhere! Juvenile sounded aight on his part. Webbie iz okay; very short from him. I thought this was a weird mix but I guess not bad. My Rating: 3.6

31. B.G. "Keep It 100"
A Crescent City Radio exclusive and I'm glad you got it on here. I'm feelin' it. Lemme review it now! >>> That's a nice hook and I'm feelin' that "I'ma throw up tha finga every time I ride by" part. Pretty good part from him. That hook stands out tha most on here. You prolly should've had Weezy's part play also. My Current Rating: 4.0

32. Bun B Feat. Lil' Wayne "Damn I'm Cold"
An album cut from Bun B's album. I actually neva heard tha song before so I wanna hear it now. I gots anticipation for it. >>> Weezy soundin' real good wit his "I'm so UGK" and "Friday Tha 13th, tha day hell would raise" lines. Definitely likin' tha beat and that hook. Maybe this'll be a 3rd single for Bun? Should B! My Rating: 4.3

33. B.O.B. Feat. Lil' Boosie & D.G. Yola "Fuck U"
An old Music Choice Rap song from April… They only played it like 2, 3 times though. Lemme re-hear 'cause it has been a while… >>> Forgot D.G. Yola on tha ID 'cause he's a part of tha hook. I remember that country style beat in tha hook. Nice lil' beat and reminds me of when I went to Florida from April 30 – May 11. Boosie had a nice verse there. Still likin' this joint. I like tha fade-out at tha end. My Current Rating: 3.9

34. Rouge Boy, Lil' Jamie & Jiggalata "Clap On"
You forgot tha 3rd "e" in "premiere." Anyway, not just a world premiere but a premiere of artists here for me. I don't know any of them and because it doesn't say "feat." on tha ID, does that mean this iz just a freestyle or somethin' wit them goin' back 2 back (like Boosie, Foxx, Juvie & Webbie did on that No. 30 joint)? That's what I think it iz so I won't have any anticipation. I just hope it's good! >>> Oh good, 3 minutes 54 seconds!! Somethin' tells me this gon be real hot! I really like tha style of this joint right here! Pretty neat hook and 1st verse right here… Soundin' nice and VERY jammin' right here! I think it should've said "feat." and not a comma but I'll leave it tha way it iz. Good 1st verse and great hook! Here comes tha 2nd verse… Like tha "McDonald drive thru" part. Pretty nice 2nd verse. I'm glad this iz real long for this mixtape 'cause this iz a nice joint right here! Pretty good 3rd verse too. Nice joint right here, just lovin' tha vibe! My Rating: 4.3

35. Bun B Feat. Juvenile, Webbie & Mouse "Pop It 4 Pimp"
Iz tha "A" missin' between "4" and "pimp"? It's produced by Mouse and it's a Bun B joint so this should be interesting. Very unexpected… >>> SO unexpected style/vibe right here for Bun B but LOVIN' tha Mouse beat!! It sounds like "Back Dat Ass Up" a lil' in tha beat. I realized it's for Pimp C (didn't realize at first) so there's no error on tha title. I think Mouse should be cited as a featured artist 'cause he's doin' tha hook. Pretty nice but very short. My Rating: 4.2

36. Fat Joe, One-i, Lil' Wayne & Dre "Ain't Saying Nothin' (Remix 2)"
I was gonna say it's "nothin'," but since this iz their version, we'll leave it. So Boosie and One-i jumped on this huh? More unexpectedness. Should be nice wit it bein' a "world premiere" (forgot that "e" again at tha end of "premiere")! >>> They kept Fat Joe and Dre so they go in tha ID! Anyway, Boosie sounded pretty good on his part. I'm sure One-i'll be tha best on here. Lookin' forward to his part!! I like tha "you behind me like an ad-lib" line One-i! I also like tha "you gon listen when I'm talkin'" part. And yes, One-i DEFINITELY proved Boosie on this! Good job right there! You kept Weezy (tha remixed version) for this. Yeah, gotta fix tha "nothing" in tha title and put tha "remix 2" in tha ID too 'cause of it bein' remixed again. Nice job. Wayne could've been minused 'cause there were a few jointz on here that should've been increased in length. Good job on speaking at tha end. One-i gets tha crown on this one. LOL @ tha 5 errors! My Rating: 4.0

37. C-Murder Feat. DJ Scrap "Beast Mode"
So you're on tha other side of tha ID, bein' featured instead of featuring C-Murder. C-Murder doesn't play games so this should be good. Hope it's good 'cause "Cock, Aim, Shoot" wit Young Ready was just too crazy/gutta/gangsta!!! >>> I'm eatin' some delicious dinner right now (perogies) so I might not type a lot, especially since I'm only typin' wit my left hand (29 words per minute wit one hand instead of 94 words per minute wit 2 hands) 'cause when I eat, I only eat wit my right hand and do other things (in this case, typing) wit my left hand. That way whateva I'm touchin' don't get dirty. Damn, tha joint ended so fast, I couldn't even leave feedback yet, lol. Anyway, C did his thang, tha beat was nice and this was good for 100 seconds long! My Rating: 4.2

38. Teflon Speaks
Let's see what this dude wants to say… >>> Good skit. Iz he on tha next track? My Rating: N/A

39. Teflon Feat. Lil' Boosie "Da Boot"
Yes he iz, wit Boosie and wit a TIGHT title (since it has to do wit Louisiana). I gotta hurry here (since I got another review to do after this) so I'm typing wit my right hand's pinky and tip of my thumb to go faster while I eat. HUGE ANTICIPATION and I know it gon pay off!! >>> FUCK it's only 50 seconds long!! Great beat and good Boosie start. Within these 50 seconds, my opinion keeps changing… What, it's a fuckin' dance?!? I thought it was gonna be somethin' like "I'm from 'da boot." It's a mix of lovin'/annoyed here… Just listenin' to tha hook gives me a good feel of it soundin' funny (to get me in a good mood). Still, all my high anticipated songs turn out weird… What will I rate it…? My Rating: 4.3

40. Rouge Boy, Teph P & Lil' Jamie "I'm Cleaner Than A Bitch"
Anotha world premiere here (and you spelled "premiere" right this time, lol). Aight I forced tha rest of my dinner down so I can get this over wit… This looks anticipating and it BETTA NOT let me down in some way!!! >>> Prolly tha last actual song on here and it's tha longest (4:25 on tha length)!! C'mon, NO DISAPPOINTMENTS PLEASE!!! Nice repetitive hook wit that nice beat! Very Louisiana soundin' so that's great! Hearin' tha 1st verse right now and it sounds good! Yes, soundin' great wit all tha shit Rouge Boy's rockin'. Great 1st verse and lookin' forward to hearin' more! Really feelin' that hook once again! Pretty nice 2nd verse. Lovin' this song now!! Let's see tha 3rd verse… Lil' Jamie had a nice verse. I was likin' all tha shit he was talkin' about wit tha clothes he was rockin'. Real nice. What a REAL GREAT way to nearly end tha mixtape! Prolly tha best joint on here that I neva heard b4!! My Rating: 4.7

41. B.G. Feat. Juvenile, Lil' Wayne & Trey Songz "Ya Heard Me"
I thought it was gonna end wit you as an outro but nope, this iz tha ending… It's Trey Songz wit a "z", not an "s". Anyway, Music Choice Rap plays so it's a lil' mainstream. Gonna hear tha whole thing right now so let's see if it's better than "Keep It 100" although it prolly ain't. >>> Really like B.G.'s lil' beginning parts. Actual, this sounds a lil' better. Definitely a nice beat right there. Pretty gutta part from B.G. right there. I like Lil' Wayne's hook wit tha auto-tone although he should cut that shit off soon. Pretty nice verse from Juvie on tha 2nd verse. Lil' Wayne has a verse on here? Didn't expect that! I'm actually really likin' it, especially wit tha "Addams Family" line (gotta show luv to my aunt Susie 'cause she's obsessed wit them) and that "I'm blessed… achoo" part. Good shit Weezy, you took tha song ova! Good Music Choice Rap song and great cold ending at tha end to end tha mixtape! My Rating: 4.3

Overall: End Time: 8:42 PM. Wow that was almost 3 hours of doin' this shit but it's all good. I liked a bunch of jointz on here. I didn't go for much of tha mainstream songs but a bunch of tha underground songs were tight. I'll be lookin' forward to move of your mixtapes in tha future. I hope you like this review and keep puttin' tha light on them underground cats, "ya heard me!"
