[Intro: Frank Calhoune]
Okay.
Toke hay.
[Hook: Frank Calhoune]
When tha world don't seem right or okay (okay).
I play my own rules for success (21!).
When I wanna get high, I toke hay (toke hay).
& be only 'bout what's best (bicky-best).
This world ain't okay. (okay).
It need some help; it need some help.
My world ain't okay (okay).
I play it by tha hand that I was dealt (flush!).
[Verse 1: Frank Calhoune]
Strengthen from tha pain; up & down, up & down.
You gotta learn tha game, so it can echo wit its sound (echo wit its sound).
Consistency for tha gain; move around, move around (left, right).
Tha only way it lame's by ignorin' & you frown.
I sense it in yo mind; you need a tenor vibe.
I am tha workin' image, like a fuckin' MRI (fuckin' MRI).
Tha cancer in a bind; it killin', like a crime.
Just know dat you'll be fine & you will shmoke it, like some pine (shmoke it, like some pine).
Appetite & health equals recovery.
Factor right & flex equals longevity.
Neva miss a day; tha pain'll kiss yo ass.
Don't feel old & gray; this shit ain't finna last (finna last).
[Pre-Hook: Frank Calhoune]
This world ain't okay (okay).
It need some help (it need some help).
Just relax & pray.
Tell dat demon, stress, you know you doin' well; fa'real!
[Hook: Frank Calhoune & Lawd Cheezus]
When tha world don't seem right or okay (okay).
I play my own rules for success (21!).
When I wanna get high, I toke hay (toke hay).
& be only 'bout what's best (bicky-best).
This world ain't okay (okay).
It need some help (huh); it need some help.
My world ain't okay (okay).
I play it by tha hand that I was dealt (flush!).
[Verse 2: Lawd Cheezus]
It's a dirty world but it's still spinnin' (still spinnin').
You can't do nothin' about but try to live in it (gotta live in it).
You can't live too large or live too small (too small).
Tryna get a brick in them bricks, from a 8-ball (three), dawg.
Nigga neva gave me nuttin', so that's why I took it (huh).
Make that dope jump like criss-cross, when I drop.
Pull a 7 outta 28 (huh); tha game, I'mma run it straight (run it straight).
You know how I run it, when I run it; neva run away (neva).
You know how I'm comin'; I'm 100 & my money straight (you know).
Bitch, you gon pay for dat "H" or your tummy ache (ha-ha).
It's a necessity; Cheez got tha recipe (yeah).
If I ain't tha best (huh), then I bet (huh) I'm tha best ta be (you know).
Give that dope a makeover (huh); know I gotta make my ovals (huh)!
Boy, if you take this soda (huh), I'mma take it ova (take it)!

Lyrics: [Intro: Lawd Cheezus] Dumb, stupid, crazy, ig'nant. A Baton Rouge nigga that reside in Mall City. Dumb-dumb, stu-stupid, craz-crazy, ig'nant. A Baton Rouge nigga that reside in Mall City.
[Hook: Lawd Cheezus] My teacher couldn't help me, my preacher couldn't help me. My people couldn't help me; look at the hand they dealt me. That liquor couldn't help me, that killa couldn't help me. My mama tried to tell me but that didn't help me. No, I ain't got it all; bitch, I'm throwed off. Bitch, I'm throwed off; bitch, I'm throwed off. No, I ain't got it all; bitch, I'm throwed off. Bitch, I'm throwed off; bitch, I'm throwed off. No, I ain't got it all.
[Verse 1: Lawd Cheezus] I don't think you wanna cross my path. 'Cause I'm a psychopathic, schizophrenic, sociopath. I'm Michael Myers when it comes to the hoes I done stabbed. And, I mean that in every sense. Saved up 'bout a stack, got a zap; I've been in the trap ever since. Hood pharmacist; come and get your medicine. Don't trip, no script for the medicine. Big clips for you Afro-Americans. If you slip, get gypped for your pelicans. He got straight water-whipped on the pelican. If the people come, time to go to jail again. Whatchu think my people for? Time to post they bail again. If ya hatin' on me, fuck ya; go to Hell, then. Hope you die, come back, die, then go to Hell again. If it ain't payin' what you sayin', it's irrelevant. Negligent, homicide.
[Verse 2: JR Dot] Came to the club, so I can really vibe. It was on, on the strip; I was buckin' in my ride. And, the police shut it down; now, I'm 'bout to go inside. The bouncer buy dubs, just to skip the line. That's what you do when your money right, feelin' like Level nah. Fell off in that bitch, feelin' good on my level wit it (wah!). Nigga ole lady come down out in my vicinity. Ain't no sense in hatin', boy; you don't want no bustin' (no). We can take it to that level; get it up there, if you choose to. Yeah, I might be small but don't let my size fool you. Head kinda shaky, man; I got a couple screws loose. I don't think you wanna play me; it ain't no maybe, I'll blues you. JR, Down Bad / labeled the psycho. Leave pussies bloody, like a bitch on they cycle. My advice, think twice; approach me with caution. I'm throwed, like a 50-yard bomb approaching.
[Verse 3: Lawd Cheezus] Dumb, stupid, crazy, ign'ant. A Baton Rouge nigga that reside in Mall City. I be young & ruthless, makin' digits. Act a damn fool when I come to y'all city. Lafayette, Opelousas, Monroe, Shreveport. Take it to H-Town, then we hit that East Coast. NY, Carolina, then we hit Georgia. Miami, here we come; time to hit Florida. Backstage, we got pretty women waiting. In L.A., yeah, Californiacation. Dumb shit, yeah, bitch, I be throwed off. Real retarded but I ain't slow at all. I'm a pitbull (yeah), yeah, I'm a dog (yeah). Woof, woof, muthafucka! Like Snoop, muthafucka (woof)! I'm just a throwed-off nigga. Terror_DownBad, follow me on Twitter.
Broadcasting from tha Ontelaunee Lake, here in Ontelaunee Township, PA, it's ya boy, FrankieThaLuckyDog here, sadly reportin' anotha tragic loss in tha Louisiana rap community.
Justin Abadie, better known by his stage name, J-Dirty, was murdered on Halloween night, Saturday, October 31, 2020, around 7:30 PM; he was only 37 years-old. According to officials, Abadie was in his vehicle, on the 3900 block of North 38th Street, when a gunshot struck him. Despite being taken to tha hospital, Abadie succumbed to his fatal shot. Currently, this investigation iz ongoing; an arrest & motive are yet to be determined.
J-Dirty was born in Baton Rouge, LA on September 4, 1983. A Southern University graduate, J-Dirty always had a passion for tha music business. During his late teens, in March 2003, J-Dirty was approached by Baton Rouge rapper, Terror, a.k.a. Cheez & k.n.a. Lawd Cheezus. Shortly after, he became Cheez's manager & tha group, Down Bad, was ready to take off. Down Bad originally consisted of five members: Cage, Jack Da Rippa, JR Dot, Supa & Terror a.k.a. Cheez. Tha group released Underground Hits, Vol. 2 & Underground Hits, Vol. 3 in 2004, followed by D.R.U.G.S. (Dope Records Used 2 Get Scrilla) & Underground Hits, Vol. 4 in 2005. In 2006, tha group kept it goin' with D.R.U.G.S. (Dope Records Used 2 Get Scrilla) 2: Tha Ovadose & tha 5th installment of their Underground Hits mixtapes, releasing Underground Hits, Vol. 5. Tha following year, in 2007, Down Bad dropped Da Sickest Mixtape, while member Terror dropped his solo debut, When Terror Strikes. Tha group also won tha Group of the Year award at tha Crunkfest 2K7 Music Awards. In 2008, Down Bad had even more multiple releases: From Da Block 2 Da Club, The Sickest 2K8 & ex-member, Supa's Live From 225. Following up 2008 with 2009, Down Bad continued with tha Macked Out Movement's Take Dat, Vol. 2, Supa's Hood Supastar & Hood Supastar, Vol. 2, as well as Terror's Terror N Da Ghetto. As tha 2010's rolled in, member Supa released It's Retarted but went his Macked Out Music route, independently, while tha other four members released Rerock. In 2011, Terror's third solo effort, Interrorgated, was released. Keepin' thangz movin' in 2012, Down Bad's most-recent release was released: Da Final Four. However, shortly after, tha group went on hiatus. J-Dirty later started his own label, Dirty Management, managing fellow Baton Rouger, Mista Cain; Cheez turned into "Lawd Cheezus" & formed his own label, YBS Entertainment; Cage, Jack & JR have been layin' low, as of lately. Not to worry, though; on September 11, 2020, Frankie met up with Cheezus to talk about tha past & current life of Down Bad. He told Frankie that err-body still cool wit each other & that it's not impossible to hear some new music, one day. Earlier, on September 4th, J-Dirty celebrated his 37th birthday.
