Review #1,996: DJ Tremon "Trippy Tuesday"

Reviewed on 6.08.2021 (Review #1,996)

As I’m two dayz early with slowly reachin’ my goal, I decided to shift back from tha 2000’s to tha recent/those from years ago. Specifically, I’m talkin’ ‘bout my boy, DJ Tremon & his Trippy Tuesday compilations, courtesy of M.O.B. Entertainment! This release iz from 2015 & I see there’s a bunch of throwback/non-Louisiana shit on here. I’m not 100% sure how I gon feel on each one; we’ll see. Also, if I already reviewed a track in tha past, I’ll just put tha current rating for each. Without further or do, let’s see how great this under-tha-influence-type of compilation gon be…! Start Tyme: 7:13 PM | End Tyme: 8:02 PM

Disclaimer:
I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

01. Samuel Maurice feat. Young B “Come & Smoke With Me”
>>> Props fa tha “4:20 AM”! As far as this, I ain’t think this was a slow jam; I understand fa 4/20 but to kick off tha set with this slow jam iz a no-no fa me… At least there’s life brought to it with Mr. Young B with tha good, laidback, summer-like feelin’… Still, Samuel doesn’t equal Jodeci! My Rating: 1.6

02. Foxx “Smokin’ Loud”
My Current Rating: 4.4

03. Juicy J “Smoked Out, Dabbed Out”
>>> Thought this was gon be a lot older, like a 2000 throwback or somethin’. Hearin’ this & it sounds like today’s boring flow… Hearin’ tha hook & it sounds good with tha screwed voice; only way ta get high, basically? Likin’ how he “on a dab!” Good-goin’ with how he comes through fa tha rest of this; not too bad, overall. My Rating: 3.4

04. Lil’ Boosie “For My Thugs”
I only had just reviewed Boosie’s Youngest Of Da Camp, earlier last week. Barely have dived into Boosie’s catalog, since I only made it to tha year 2000 with my old-school reviewz… >>> Gotta feel tha throwback Louisiana sound fa tha Rouge! Great lil’ production & this hook from one of tha greatest! All about celebratin’ & counteractin’ bad vibes! Hearin’ Boosie on tha 1st verse & he sounds excellent ta hold it down fa tha hood, of course; good shit, to tha max! Tha 2nd verse sounds good with how Boosie just owns every situation; good shit…! My Rating: 4.4

05. Mystikal “I Smell Smoke”
>>> Definitely feelin’ his throwback, N’awlinz appearance, here; all about tha “smoke” & tha aggressive flow/voice! Like how he says, “AM turns to PM”; I wish I can make tyme go quick, today, while I’m still tryna find a full-tyme… My Rating: 4.2

06. Colonel Loud feat. Young Dolph & Rico Barrino “California”
I remember this, when I heard it & had it in rotation, back in 2015; Dunkin’, Dunkin’, Dunkin’. Also, it was these tymes, where DJ B Real had me blocked & I slightly had went a lil’ mainstream with my tastes, at tymes. Anyway, feels like I haven’t heard this in a long while; I think I really liked this, att (at tha tyme), due to tha shomkin’ theme & Young Dolph. Always appreciate tha sunny-soundin’ vibes in this, includin’ tha appreciation fa Cali…! My Current Rating: 4.0

07. Lil’ Phat feat. Mouse “Take A Puff”
Only Phat outta tha three of ‘em? *Re-Hears…* Naw, y’all missin’ Mouse on tha feature! Shell woulda been here if only his verse was here… My Current Rating: 4.9

08. Juicy J feat. Rae Sremmurd “Already”
>>> Sounds like whateva when Swae Lee comes through, on tha hook; not really any comment fa this mainstreamness… Hearin’ Juicy come through & this flow’s a lil’ betta than his previous joint on here… My Rating: 3.0

09. Young B feat. Dino Danja, Jaye London, Lil’ Scottie & Dae~Dae “Bars N My Fanta”
My Current Rating: 4.7

10. Dylan Cage feat. Jimi Jump & Jose Guapo “In My System”
>>> Luvin’ how Dylan comin’ through with everythang “in [his] system,” just embracin’ shit; definitely nice, with a decent beat… Hearin’ Dylan on tha 1st verse & it’s cool; diggin’ his consistent street content fa this fucked-up “system.” Also, luvin’ how on tha 2nd hook, Jimi Jump comes through as an ‘80s baby in his 30’s with tha unstoppable “system”; huh bruh…! Always luv his voice on tha mic & tha great vibe of Baton Rouge he brings to tha table; always welcome ta hold it down, Jimi! Ain’t Jose Guapo one of those random rappers from 2015? I remember tha name & thought this collab threw me off with him bein’ featured… Anyway, I (sarcastically) luv how he comes through with these rhymes like he a millionaire; still, a lil’ entertainin’ but I want an all-Louisiana collab! My Rating: 4.3

11. Beatking “Powder”
>>> Beat a lil’ typical-soundin’ with this trap sound; hook sounds a lil’ random with random words bein’ spit… Hearin’ tha 1st verse & it sounds okay, I guess…; I like that “kushijuana” combined word, tho! Tha rest of this shit ain’t bad; basically, it’s just rappin’. My Rating: 3.2

12. Wiz Khalifa “Never Been”
>>> Likin’ tha intro from you & DJ Scrap, Tremon; nice shit! Of course, Wiz big about tha shmokin’ & this sounds like a good addition fa this Trippy Tuesdayness. Hearin’ tha hook & it’s like, fuck tha “bankroll” shit; rather it’ve just been nothin’ but high references…! My Rating: 3.7

13. Hey Daem feat. Spitta “Need To Smoke”
>>> Hearin’ that Daem dude on tha 1st verse & iz this a lotta improvement? Remembered how awful he was, back in tha early 2010’s, with watered-down a-tune. Now, he sounds tougher on here but still struggles with a-tune addiction, at tymes, such as on this track. I think I talked too soon about what I was sayin’ with tha 1st verse ‘cause it spilled into tha hook, smfh! Yucky-soundin’ hook! Hearin’ Spitta’s contribution & at least he’s 100% organic with his voice/everythang! Keep spittin’, Spitta! My Rating: 2.2

½tyme: A 3.7-rated release, currently; mainly, most of tha tracks are good/decent, while there are excellent throwbacks & some shitty tracks.

14. Dae~Dae & Dino Danja “The Highway”
My Current Rating: 4.8

15. Juicy J feat. K Camp “One More Drink”
>>> Oh yeah, I remember this; didn’t recognize it, at first; Music Choice Rap… K Camp does a catchy job with tha hook to get a “lil’ bit” fucked up, ya feel me? Also, a good lil’ flow from Juicy, as well; 2015 was definitely a loaded year! This mixtape was released on my late brother’s final birthday; he died 12 dayz later from morphine, xanz & heroin, smh. My Current Rating: 4.1

16. M-16 “Cupps Up”
Producer: EQ Tha Misfit
>>> S/O to EQ Tha Misfit on tha beat; gotta luv tha club vibe! Sounds like a good lil’ hook; all about tha clubs! Hearin’ tha 1st verse & dude got tha energy on lock; props fa keepin’ it movin’ fa Tremon, here! Tha rest of this shit pretty focused & fulla energy; good shit, my dude! My Rating: 4.3

17. Dae~Dae “Get Lifted”
>>> A slower vibe fa Dae, here… Hearin’ him on tha 1st verse & it’s cool with his choice ta 365-like “Get Lifted”; huh bruh…! “I’m loaded, like, 24/7”; glad dude luv tha shmoke! Tha hook sappy with tha singin’ but with this hook, it gets tha props ‘cause tha only lyrics are “high…; get lifted”; that’s all you need! Luv how Dae comes through on tha 2nd verse with tha “you shmokin’ doo-doo” & shit, dude definitely official! Glad I got ta shmoke wit him tha night I met you, on October 13, 2017! Nice lil’ outro from Tremon, as well, takin’ it to “Airline.” My Rating: 4.2

18. Famous “This Blunt”
>>> Dude definitely focused fa “This Blunt”!! Gotta luv how focused & energetic he iz on this hook!! Beat ain’t too bad ta rap on; a lil’ simple but it’s dope with Famous on it! Hearin’ tha 1st verse from Famous & he got cool energy; glad he luv to get high!! Tha 2nd verse cool with how he continues this shmoke obsession; good shit! My Rating: 4.5

19. Luniz feat. E-40, Shock G, Richie Richie, Spice 1 & Dru Down “I Got 5 On It (Bay Ballers Remix)”
Not only iz tha file removed, due to it bein’ a mainstream song but I can’t play any bit of it. Wait a second, tho; there’s more mainstream tracks on here. Like, why did this & a few others choose to get removed, instead, due to their copyright bullshit? Anyway, I prolly have heard tha remix b4 but for tha most part, this an okay song; more recognized for tha beat, tho. My Current Rating: 3.1

20. Young B “Where The Tabs At”
My Current Rating: 4.6

21. Z-Ro feat. Lil’ O “I Can’t Leave Drank Alone”
Anotha one removed but I found a way to sample it… >>> Lmao @ tha old beat tag from that “My Dougie” producer. Hearin’ tha hook & luv how Z-Ro real focused with tha “drank” & all that. Hearin’ him on tha 1st verse & I’m real glad throughout all these decades, he still can get fucked up like it’s nothin’. Really luv how he comes through on his verse, includin’ how he “po’d up with DJ Screw fa [his] 22nd birthday,” especially that it was on “Monday” & that he “didn’t wake up till Thursday”; crazy! As far as Lil’ O, hadn’t heard him since 2006 when him & George Floyd’s group, tha S.U.C., was on my playlist with undaground tracks. As far as his verse, it aight; who needs tha “money in my pocket” line, tho… My Rating: 4.4

22. Big Moe “Bar Baby”
From one S.U.C. dude to tha next…! >>> Sounds like a nice lil’ throwback, slow-soundin’ beat fa Big Moe, here; catchy lil’ hook, too. Hearin’ what he got on tha verse & it sounds great/more loaded on tha mic than Z-Ro; too bad his addiction caught up with him. My Rating: 3.5

23. DJ Tremon “WMOB Commercial Break”
>>> Sounds nice; I still haven’t experienced a high through “lean,” yet; we’ll see when that’ll be… My Rating: N/A

24. Dedrick Jamal feat. Hey Daem “Slow Motion”
>>> Cool lil’ beginning; luv when tha BPMs are double tha speed than tha norm, on tha hook! Hearin’ tha 1st verse & it ain’t bad from Dedrick, here; sounds like a typical flow with nothin’ really standin’ out, except that double BPM part in tha beat. Hearin’ tha 2nd verse & it’s aight; feelin’ how Daem comin’ through on tha double BPM’d part of tha beat! My Rating: 3.6

25. Webbie “Laid Way Back”
Producer: Mouse
Webbie’s Savage Life was tha 1st Louisiana rap album I eva purchased, back on July 6, 2005. I wasn’t even reviewin’ at tha tyme but supported certain artists, at tha tyme. I rememba this one & I rememba how consistent that release was; I was like, “There’s somethin’ special about how consistent all these tracks are…!” Lil’ did I know, it was tha heart of tha Jigga City & Mouse on tha tracks! With this track, you gotta luv tha catchiness of Webbie’s luv fa “high dro” & Mouse’s dope-ass beat sounds! Of course, tha rhymes sound awesome on some of Mouse’s best beats! My Current Rating: 4.4

26. Slim Thug feat. Muggs & Kevin Gates “What You Mean To Me”
>>> An okay slow beat; sounds decent with Slim Thug’s 2015 flow, here; an okay 1st verse but at least he on tha “weed” tip, here… Hearin’ tha hook & it sounds like an attempt at Gates bein’ catchy but it’s just a sappy-soundin’, slow-soundin’ hook… Hearin’ tha Muggs dude on tha 2nd verse & he str8; I like how he focused fa tha “weed,” in tha end. Even room fa Gates ta have a 3rd verse, here…; glad he ain’t singin’. His 2015 rappin’ decent but I’m glad it earned success wit me, thanx to tracks like “I Don’t Get Tired” & his collab with Chedda Da Connect. My Rating: 3.3

27. Symore Banks “2 Good 2 Quited”
>>> Lol, ain’t no what to expect, here, except I had thought tha title looked like Sauce Walka’s; now, I know why. I’ono about this chick jackin’ tha Sauce beat but I guess it’s good fa tha “pussy.” But Tremon, I’ono if I would consider it a “drug,” yet, tha “strongest” one… Hearin’ what she comin’ through on tha verse & she sounds like a lesbian? Into tha “clit,” here? Sounds interestin’, even tho it ain’t that great of a track fa me… My Rating: 2.1

Overall: I wonder how Trippy Tuesday 2 gon go, when I review it? I’m glad I got tha chance ta review this one b4 my 2,000th review mark. With that bein’ said, keep tha Trippy Tuesday up; it’ll get betta!

Rankings:

R.I.P. Video #74: FYNIC Looney

Recorded September 14, 2020

Broadcasting from tha trenches, here in Baton Rouge, LA, it's ya boy, FrankieThaLuckyDog here, sadly reportin' anotha tragic loss in tha Louisiana rap community.

Freddie Thomas, known by his stage name, FYNIC Looney, was murdered around 11:00 PM on Sunday, September 13, 2020, off tha 5700 block of Henderson Avenue; he was only 27 years-old. Thomas was trappin' with "large quantities of marijuana" inside a house, where he was shot multiple times at 5724 Henderson Avenue. Once officers arrived at tha scene, Thomas was already pronounced dead. Currently, there are no motives or suspects found in this case.

Thomas was born on June 20, 1993, in Baton Rouge, LA. He began rappin' durin' tha 2010's amongst tha Baton Rouge clicks, Forever Young Niggaz In Charge (FYNIC) & tha Dirty Dinero Band Camp. One of Thomas' first appearances on a release was tha late Baton Rouge rapper, King Joe & his King Almighty mixtape, released on March 5, 2017 & hosted by Baton Rouge DJ, DJ Scrap. Tha following month, on April 8, 2017, Joe was murdered, at just 23 years-old. Thomas began payin' his respects to Joe as often as possible. © 2019 CD Review (Review #1,795) reviewed on 1.22.2019 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Yizdom (Freestyle)”
>>> Original beat ta kick it off, wit this freestyle? Just sounds like a ramblin’ intro, ta me, even tho tha beat pretty nice… Shoulda had a lil’ catchier flow but this still nice wit what you bringin’, slowly but shortly… My Rating: 3.9

02. “What Dat Azz Do”
>>> Sounds good; likin’ tha hook wit how you questionin’, “What Dat Azz Do,” here; good shit…! Not too bad wit tha rhymes, here; just a regular-soundin’ song fa da ladies & tha clubs, here… My Rating: 3.7

03. “Ain’t Nothing New”
>>> Kinda sounds boring, ta me, wit this slower vibe… Not dealin’ with/feelin’ tha whole “money” theme, too… At least this short but I’m not feelin’ it that much. Random how you speed up your flow durin’ tha rappin’; I’ono ‘bout dat… This “Ain’t Nothing New” ta me… My Rating: 2.3

04. “Puncho”
>>> A lil’ intro, here & then, you come in at :35… I’ono, nothin’ too crazy about this one. I’ono why y’all get mixed up wit tha faster rappin’; not feelin’ tha fastness, at times… Overall, this ehh but not too bad, like tha last track… My Rating: 3.0

05. “10 Toes”
>>> A lil’ betta wit tha beat you chose, here… Kinda sounds like you’re deliverin’ your catchy sing-rap flow, on tha hook; not bad… Hearin’ what you got wit tha rhymes and it ain’t bad; a regular-soundin’ Rouge track, ta me, fa tha streetz… My Rating: 3.5

06. “Can’t Fall In Love”
>>> Boring mainstream-soundin’ beat ta rap off of… Hearin’ what you got on tha rhymes and it sounds like you winnin’ in every way. Sounds good fa you but just a regular-soundin’ song that anyone can make, ta me… Hook decent; just a regular song, overall… My Rating: 3.1

07. “Satellites (Freestyle)”
>>> Thought it was tha “Satellites” beat but it’s a sample on tha hook, instead, wit Deezy On Da Beat doin’ da beat… Woulda been betta if it didn’t have Gates’ blonde-ass on tha hook and was an original track, like it was tryna be… I get it, tho: This What [You] Would’ve Did 2 [They] Shit, tho… Wit tha rhymes, not bad, at times, but you shouldn’t’ve did tha fast rappin’… My Rating: 2.6

08. “Monster (Freestyle)”
>>> Great job wit tha rhymes but not feelin’ tha Meek/East Coast vibe wit tha beat you chose ta rap off of… I get it: You did this to they shit; on tha same level, ta me… My Rating: 3.8

09. “Burn One” feat. Slap
>>> Not too bad, for a start… Just sounds like a decent track wit a decent hook; nothin’ special but nothin’ bad… Hearin’ what you got on tha 1st verse and it decent; can’t say much… With Slap comin’ in fa tha 2nd verse, he sound good fa his 225 representation… Sounds like he was pickin’ up tha pace wit tha rappin’, too; I’ono… My Rating: 3.2

10. “School Boy (Freestyle)”
>>> Boring beat ta go off of in tha “Studio”, but let’s see… Just random rappin’ ova this beat, fa tha ladies, here… My Rating: 2.0

½time: I’m not really inta these jacked-beat CDs; a 3.1-rated CD, currently.

11. “Know ‘Bout Me”
>>> Typical-soundin’, bullshit, mainstream-soundin’ beat you picked, here; boring, auto-tuned hook… I’ono, I ain’t got patience fa dis four-minute track… My Rating: 1.1

12. “Food 4 Thotz”
>>> Not really feelin’ this; nothin’ poppin’ wit this, too. I like tha “Plank” & “stanky” reference (gotta luv “Plank” Road), but that’s prolly it… My Rating: 2.5

13. “Only If You Knew” feat. Slap & KB
>>> Ick @ that beat tag (“Damn, Menace got beats…”); that deserves a sexy voice? Just a typical-soundin’, quiet-ass beat, here; more unattractive than attractive, right…?! Aside from this, tha intro in tha beginning has a sample that shows that life ain’t nothin’ ta play with. Hearin’ you rap and it aight; nothin’ too special wit how this sounds, overall… Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad; a lil’ betta than you wit these rhymes/aggression… Tha 3rd verse got a good vibe, too; good focus… My Rating: 2.9

14. “I Feel Like I’m Raw”
>>> Just a boring, regular beat, here, with decent rappin’ from you… Tha hook aight but tha “raw” don’t define tha lack of aggression in tha voice/flow, tho… My Rating: 2.4

15. “Episodes”
>>> Who needs a “Trap Queen”, right nah?
Blah-blah-blah, ta me… My Rating: 1.0

16. “Ya Heard Me”
>>> This sounds like it has more effort than most of tha shit on here… Just tha “Ya Heard Me” in tha title, as well as repeatin’ in tha hook goes to show me that this has that Louisiana sound ta it…! Nice lil’ beat you chose ta rap off of, as far as how this CD goes… Hearin’ what you got on tha rhymes and they aight… Overall, this ain’t bad wit how you kept tha rhymes goin’ through three verses… My Rating: 3.6

17. “Exactly (Freestyle)”
>>> Goin’ wit mo of tha mainstream beats, here; oh, Drake & nem… Hook tryna be a lil’ catchy but I just zone outta tha track, after I know it’s a mainstream jacked beat… You know you betta than these jacked beats! My Rating: 2.1

18. “On My Mind” feat. 3D
>>> Don’t thank I’ll tolerate tha auto-tune & boring/typical-soundin’ beat… Not too awful wit how you sound, on tha 1st verse; not interested in this, tho… Tha 3D feature ehh; oh, auto-tune? Fa’get this gay-soundin’ shit…! My Rating: 1.2

19. “Just Venting”
>>> I would agree wit you havin’ “Gunplay as one of [your] favorite rappers;” he, at least, got shit on lock… Tha beat boring and quiet; not too much inta your voice effects & what you got, here… My Rating: 1.4

20. “Need Somebody (Response)”
>>> Not feelin’ tha slow way ta end this CD off… Even includin’ tha original hook on this, too; why? No interest; almost four minutes of this? My Rating: 1.0

Overall: Jacked beats aren’t tha way ta go, $hizz! Glad you got betta after this, tho, thanx to DJ B-Real!

Review #1,704: King Joe "King Almighty (Hosted by DJ Scrap)"

Reviewed on 4.21.2017 (Review #1,704)

As I have my mornings for my old Louisiana CD reviewz, tha other parts of tha rest of April gon be some current CD reviewz. Most of these upcoming CD reviewz gon be tha CDs I got from artists/Way 3000. However, this first one, I downloaded ‘cause of how dude got killed, right when I got back from my vacation. Sponsored by Dirty Dinero Band Camp, here goes my review for King Joe King Almighty (Hosted by DJ Scrap)! This my tribute video fa King Joe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7S05vlsV9sg Start Time: 5:47 PM | End Time: 6:33 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! Anything I type before “ >>> “ iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> “ iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

© 2017 CD Review (Review #1,704) reviewed on 4.21.2017 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Open Dope”
>>> Nice intro from Scrap, here; glad there was a connection… Beat kinda reminds me of YB & Tazz’s “Broski’s” with that sound that comes every four bars… However, this beat kinda plain… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s ehh… I’ono how much I can feel this… Just sounds like typical, mainstream-soundin’ shit ta me… Only thang that has, like, a Louisiana vibe fa me iz your voice… Tha hook ain’t bad; let’s continue… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it sounds a lil’ betta wit how you consistently deliver it. Still, nothin’ too special, here… My Rating: 3.4

02. “Good Die Young” feat. Looney & Nino
>>> I’ono, but Scrap on this intro sounds like this was made after you died. However, this was released on March 5… I have to say, this beat’s a lil’ betta than tha previous one… I’m feelin’ tha way tha sounds go, especially that whistle… Hearin’ tha hook and it sounds nice… I’m not a fan of depressing songs but this hook’s nice wit how y’all dealin’ wit shit… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it ain’t that bad; good job wit this… Tha 2nd verse sounds like tha same dude who’s on tha hook, here… A decent job wit contributin’, holdin’ it down… And, tha 3rd verse’s pretty nice, here; gangsta shit, here… My Rating: 3.7

03. “Nobody” feat. Looney & YB
YB!! >>> Sounds like jacked-beat shit? Tha hook can be catchy but I’ono how much I can seriously fuck wit it… If I think of it soundin’ like a jacked beat (can’t think of it, at tha moment—Future song?), then just consider that it sounds like tha same shit that’s out on tha radio, these dayz… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and I ain’t feelin’ tha voice; no need for an effect! Lack of interest, here… Keepin’ it movin’ wit YB on tha 2nd verse, here, soundin’ much betta/much-more normal! Gotta luv all tha consistent rhymes! “My heart iz Sub Zero ‘cause it’s below zero;” good shit! See, if this whole entire CD had verses like YB’s verse on this, it would sound much betta! I wouldn’t mind him, no matter what tha tracks sounded like! Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and it don’t hold tha same weight as YB… Just reminds me that YB on this CD iz equivalent to how I hold my job down like no other! Almost thought my rating was gon be near tha 2.0’s, but YB saved tha vibe… Also, I remember that “back then, I was a nobody,” too! My Rating: 3.8

04. “Problems” feat. Vis
>>> A decent start but I yawn in my head when I hear nothin’ but “money” this, “money” that. Like, example: YB ‘bout his money, but his incredible verse on tha last song ain’t have “money, money, money” this; “money, money, money” that! With that bein’ said, tha 1st verse’s ehh/not bad… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s nice. I’ono why, but your voice on here sometimes reminds me of A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s ehh, as well; can’t cling on too well… My Rating: 3.5

05. “Fuck Nigga” feat. Lee Banks
>>> Wow, this sounds like YB music, here, on tha hook/beat/vibe! Definitely much betta than tha shit on this CD, so far! Let’s see how tha verses go… Okay, much betta from you on tha 1st verse, here! You got tha YB flow goin’ on, here, without bullshit “money” obsessions! Luv all tha consistency, here! Luved when I seen YB & Razy Ray perform at tha Hookah Lounge, last month. I heard tha consistency come out in tha rhymes, especially in Razy Ray’s appearance; shit was dope! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s pretty nice, here; good shit from Lee Banks! Nice collab, here; this was your golden collab! My Rating: 4.2

06. “Fan2X” feat. NuNu James
>>> “NuNu got tha beat…” Beat straight, I guess? Hearin’ tha 1st verse from NuNu and it sounds betta than usual… I’m glad it ain’t borin’ me even tho it only aight… Tha hook catchy, but decent at its finest… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s not so bad, as well; good shit, y’all… My Rating: 3.6

½time: Mostly decent, here, but I’m feelin’ tha collaborations more than anythang… A 3.7-rated CD, currently…

07. “Blitz” feat. Nino & NBA Lil’ Pap
>>> Sounds decent wit this beat and hook… Likin’ tha title part and how it repeats, here… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds like ‘90s babies gangsta shit, here… Here comes tha 2nd verse, soundin’ decent, here, from Nino… Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and it sounds good from this NBA dude… I think he gon have a good future; nice 1st contribution… My Rating: 3.8

08. “Get The Bitness” feat. Willie & Nino
>>> Sounds like a decent beat and 1st verse goin’ on, here… Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2nd verse, here, soundin’ nice ta hear… Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 3rd verse and it’s ehh… Nothin’ too special, here; just a contribution from Nino… My Rating: 3.5

09. “Headshot” feat. NuNu James
>>> Not anticipatin’ tha intro wit tha “R&B shit,” here… Yeah, you can keep this, Scrap. Can’t say it’s awful but I don’t think it’s tha best vibe, here… Tha hook ain’t too bad, here… Oh, rappin’ on tha 1st verse? Really throwin’ me off, this time… Kinda yada-yada-yada… Tha rest of this goes with tha track’s vibe, itself; can’t say too much… My Rating: 3.1

10. “My Own” feat. J Beezy
>>> Beat’s plain but tha hook sounds nice from J Beezy, here… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and tha beginning reminds me of a familiar rap song’s flow… Hearin’ tha rest of tha verse and it’s decent… I’ono, nothin’ too strikin’ wit tha rhymes but tha vibe’s nice… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ decent, too; can’t complain… My Rating: 3.4

11. “Laid Back” feat. Dice
>>> This sounds like a betta beat, here… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and you sound good wit how you comin’ through wit some of these rhymes from tha southern hood… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s pretty nice! “Sippin’ lean, smokin’ kush;” nice! Why it ain’t look like too many peeps were “sippin’ lean,” while I was in BR? I ain’t see any “lean” down there… And, tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad, here; nice collab… My Rating: 3.7

12. “Sales” feat. J Beezy & Looney
>>> We have a $hop With Ken beat, finally? Let’s see what’s good, here… Beat kinda plain, tho, but let’s see how this vibe goes… Hearin’ tha hook and it sounds like you have tha life of tha Baton Rouge streetz, here, fa a ‘90s baby; nice… Consistent rappin’ on tha 1st verse, here, soundin’ nice ta hear… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ nice ta hear, here… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it sounds good, but in its own way… At times, it may not be too special for me to appreciate but it’s still nice wit how it was delivered… My Rating: 3.6

13. “Trap Star” feat. Looney
>>> This ain’t too bad ta end it off… Beat ain’t too bad and tha 1st verse sounds like you’re continuously on ya grind, as always… And, tha 2nd verse’s pretty consistent, here; likin’ it betta than tha 1st! My Rating: 3.7

Overall: Most of this was decent; only one track a 4.0+! Definitely needed betta-soundin’ beats than tha typical-soundin’ shit that be out, these dayz… Some of tha content was ehh but hey, this was a start that was ‘pose to continue into somethin’… R.I.P. King Joe…

01. “Wifebeata” Feat. Big World & BluBlack
LOL, already startin’ wit a song from last year? Funny ‘cause I thought this song was forgotten about… According to BluBlack, he said that this iz his song featuring y’all, represented tha wrong way as y’all featuring him. Anyway, I like tha quiet/slower beat feature before tha hook! This sounds like it an anthem and I really like tha topic/title/hook! :tu Can’t be Terrorless (lol) as he’s on tha 1st verse! Good shit from Terror! Cage on tha 2nd verse here, always doin’ a nice job! Big World iz on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse here, doin’ a NICE job too wit that coolness! Lookin’ forward ta BluBlack on tha 3rd verse here… Still doin’ his thang especially wit tha “Monopoly” part! Good shit and good shit from Jack, too, wit his catchy voice/delivery! My Current Rating: 4.5

02. “Can U Help Me”
What kinda song this gon be? >>> More energetic vibes comin’ outta tha beats here; sounds like Beat Flippa sounds, too! Catchy hook as always! Catchy flow here from Terror on tha 1st verse; lookin’ forward to gettin’ some of these jointz onto my radio show! LOL @ tha “healthy” part! Let’s see how Cage gon come through on dis… DEFINITELY some interestin’ shit from him, ya dig? Time fa some JR on tha 3rd verse, doin’ his thang, too… My Rating: 4.4

03. “Dumb” Feat. The Recruits, Max Minelli, Derty, C-Murder, Rudye & IL Duce
Kinda mixed up on tha feature; it really should be featuring The Recruits, Max Minelli, Derty, C-Murder, Rudye & IL Duce, you know? Anyway, funny/glad this iz here! Max’s on tha 1st verse and he’s bringin’ his energy to tha track! Terror on tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse and it’s cool but some of those quotes get boring… LOL @ tha Derty hook; random… He’s even on tha start of tha 2nd verse. I still feel like he should put a CD out before all these features…; not bad shit from him… Tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse’s C-Murder and it sounds good; gives me a good fit here! Tha start of tha 3rd verse iz Rudye; why ain’t he on tha ID? He was AT LEAST on BET!! “Don’t call me retarded, I’m mentally handicap;” LUV dat line!!! :tu Interestin’ shit from him; he spittin’ some good, updated 2010 shit! Tha 2nd part of tha 3rd verse iz IL Duce (anotha dude not on tha ID here) and it sounds gr8 wit his contributin’ rhymes! There’s a 3rd part of tha 3rd verse and it’s JR Dot; good fa what it iz. Didn’t cut some of tha ending this time, lol. My Current Rating: 4.4

04. “Get Ya Dummy Up”
LOL @ this and it’s only 111 seconds! >>> “Beat Flippa,” huh? Really? Doesn’t exactly sound like him and it’s kinda short to be too tight… Okay, it’s a lil’ betta once tha song progresses to give this song a good mood. I feel like this could’ve been a good filler track or somethin’; jammin’ song… My Rating: 4.2

05. “I’m So Clean” Feat. Lil’ Jamie & Big Fancy
Actually Big Fancy and “I’m So Clean”… I’m kinda lettin’ tha order of tha features slide since it’s your CD. If it was everyone else’s CDs, it’ll be different. Funny how it’s every other song (1, 3, 5), lol. This reminded me of a mix of Bone Crusher and Ceddybu when I first heard it; addicting hook!! JR Dot does tha damn thang on tha lil’ “clean as a whistle” part too!! LOL, Jamie’s on tha 1st verse; he came through real nice on this bitch and I think this was tha 1st time I heard him, doin’ it big!! JR Dot’s on tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse and he delivers some good shit… LOL, Jack Da Rippa made a short lil’ four-line appearance, lol! JR’s holdin’ down dat “clean as a whistle” shit. LOL, back to tha calm Fancy on tha 3rd verse, lol! Tha “I’m so clean” part on tha verse sounds a lil’ ehh/lol on tha verse; much better soundin’ on tha hook though. Nice lil’ job from Fancy! My Current Rating: 4.5

06. “Feel Good”
>>> Sounds “good,” ya dig? Hot, consistent shit to tha fullest! :tu Shout out to “C-A-G-E” fa holdin’ down tha 1st verse to tha fullest!!! Here comes Terror on tha 2nd verse, doin’ his thang wit a calm, seductive voice fa tha ladies and hood, too, lol? Nice shit from JR wit tha flow on tha 3rd verse here… My Rating: 4.3

07. “Whuteva”
Dis breaks tha every odd-number song bein’ a song featurin’ y’all, lol. Let’s see what dis ‘bout… >>> Quiet start and sound here… Tha hook sounds familiar… Knew I knew this, lol! Sounds like a long intro and okay hook. Cage sounds a lil’ focused on tha 1st verse here; he crazy wit how he delivers his rhymes; they’re random and come outta nowhere. Let’s see how JR Dot does on tha 2nd verse here… Good flow, good club lyrics, too. Tha outro sounds kinda long too until I hear tha hook again. My Current Rating: 4.0

08. “Thug Hard” Feat. Supa
I like dis title so I’m lookin’ forward ta hearin’ dis… >>> Damn, only two flat minutes? ROFL, Supa’s on this! Since he’s no longer in Down Bad, he’ll be featured. Must be old if Sup’s on it; sounds tight wit him on tha hook! I always gon hold Sup down!! LOL, energetic JR on tha 1st verse, doin’ tha damn thang!! Kinda sounds familiar, too, but there have been so many reviewz I did in tha past. How would I remember which CD it was off of, lol? My Rating: 4.2

09. “Goin’ Ham” Feat. Lil’ Phat
As behind as I am, I’m not behind wit playin’ this on tha radio! Aired it—prolly was tha 1st one—in March. This definitely iz some nice shit! Catchy shit wit a real good beat… I dunno when I’ll get ta play this as I played “Locs On” after I heard this… I be gettin’ too many songs so it’s hard ta add certain songs here and there… Afta dat crazy-ass 1st verse from Cage (and tha hook, too), Terror’s on tha 2nd verse and tha rhymes are catchy… For some reason, Lil’ Phat sounds like a baby wit his voice here. No offense at all to you, Phat; Sade “Babyfather”’s nearby, lol! My Current Rating: 4.5

10. “I-10 Cowboy (Remix)” Feat. Kevin Gates, Tank Jones, Nu$$ie & Big Fancy
I lol @ no one ever puttin’ “remix” in tha ID… Yea, “Big Fancy, I see you!” Hope he gets betta from dealin’ wit diabetes! LOL, tha beginning sounds like tha voice effect I use to talk on my mixtapes, which sounds weird for already-fixed vocals, lol. Too bad Bro-Bro ain’t on tha remix. :( But Beat Flippa’s still on tha beat and tha hook sounds betta here wit all that YELLIN’ (as I call it)! Much betta hook and Gates on tha 1st verse here… Not bad on his part although I rather hear Bro-Bro. Still, can’t deny Gates ‘cause he doin’ his thang, especially tha “Mr. Let-My-Pants-Sag” part! Gotta luv tha “BUKU MONEY!!!” part in tha hook!! Tank Jones on tha 2nd verse and he did his thang on this shit! Good shit from Jack Da Rippa on this shit, too, durin’ tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse! :tu I knew tha Nu$$ie verse was gonna be tha original. And why iz it clean? Still a nice job done. And Fancy’s 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse iz still here. I thought tha words at tha end of tha original was funny although it sounds hot wit just tha beat! His verse clean, too? :confused My Current Rating: 4.7

½time: This iz betta (of course) for reviewz I wanna deal wit! I got 108 more to go before tha end of tha year so I need some motivation ta go wit my focus! So far, y’all at a NICE 4.4 wit tha CD rating so far!

11. “Kickin’ In” Feat. Mookie Blakk
LOL, tha “in” iz missin’ from tha title… You KNOW that beat iz GREAT and of course, NOTHIN’s betta than Mookie Blakk on this shit!! That hook iz SOOOOO catchy/tight ESPECIALLY wit ERR-THANG “kickin’ in!” :tu Tha verses seem like there’s not that many bars but it’s tha hook that REALLY gets you in tha mood!! Real great job on this hook as well as tha 1st verse! :tu Down Bad member JR Dot on tha 2nd verse and he doin’ his thang on this shit. Tha beat almost reminds me of a mainstream taste but it’s sad that mainstream won’t pay attention. :( Good job on his verse. That fuckin’ hook iz just TOO GREAT!!! “Rollin’ like a swing, dat pill kickin’ in!” as well as tha “killa kickin’ in” part, too! :tu Cage doin’ his thang on tha 3rd verse; much betta on this verse than tha 2nd verse! He has a GREAT flow wit this shit!! He did his thang wit this shit!! Nothin’ but a GREAT collab!! My Current Rating: 4.8

12. “Rollin’”
Oh no, what exact song iz dis? >>> It iz tha old “Rollin’” song dat my grandma liked from tha ’08 CD… Because tha ’08 review iz somewhat outdated, I’ll re-review it. Tha beat’s as smooth as someone fuckin’ slow, lol! Definite plus here and tha hook’s just really smoothly delivered by Jack! He’s even doin’ his thang on tha 1st verse wit his crazy-soundin’ flow!! LOL, Cage doin’ his thang, too, just crazy wit tha flow, also! My Current Rating: 4.4

13. “The Streetz”
Finally, this song! Even though a lil’ different, it’s catchy. It sadly seemed to mark tha part of me fallin’ really behind. I guess I believe that because as soon as I got this CD, I was so close to reviewin’ it. But, college struck harder than a ma’fucka! :td Tha hook’s kinda odd-soundin’ on a 1st listen but it’s cool, no matter what. Terror’s on tha 1st verse wit some pretty good shit… Again, soundin’ a lil’ odd at first wit Jack’s 2nd verse, too. However, I think I gon play dis on my radio show tomorrow. That’s mainly why I reviewed this now… May be my lowest-rated song but I gon also add it into my personal playlist, too! My Current Rating: 3.8

14. “Da Dumbest” Feat. Big Head
Think I heard this, too… Damn, anotha “Got Pills 3” song, lol… Of course, tha good Down Bad type of beat in tha intro here; good shit! Really likin’ tha hook here especially wit tha title spellin’! :tu Here comes tha 1st verse, SOOOO FUCKIN’ FAST! :) It’s Cage and he doin’ his thang on this shit; great rhymes here!! Soundin’ good on tha slower tip here. Big Head ‘bout ta be on tha 2nd verse… When he givin’ me $75 for me ta do him a commercial? Somebody needs ta gimme his cell numba. I also didn’t approve of him randomly deletin’ me from Facebook? :confused No homo? Pretty good verse although he did A LOT BETTA on his “Realest Of The Trillest” CD! LOL @ Terror on tha 3rd verse! Feelin’ tha way he rappin’ on this verse right chea! ROFL, only a few seconds long? Just cut off JR’s 2nd ½? :confused My Current Rating: 4.3

15. “I’m From Baton Rouge”
I expect dis ta be REAL GOOD; look at tha title!! >>> Yea!! Tha beat’s DEFINITELY jammin’ and I’m definitely inta dis shit!! Cool shit comin’ from JR here; at least he gettin’ some shit now, lol! Tha hook’s cool although it feels like all I can do iz jam to tha beat and have minimal focus on tha lyrics throughout tha hook, lol. LOL @ dat Cage on tha 2nd verse; what a char-ac-ter, lol!! LOL @ all tha “hate” goin’ on before tha verse ended! I like tha Bounce feel to this, includin’ how it sounds in tha vocals, too! My Rating: 4.4

16. “Fuck Ya Face” Feat. King Arthur
ROFL, what an attitude!! Keep ‘em comin’!!! >>> Anticipatin’, slow start from King Arthur on tha beat and intro! Didn’t know it was gonna be a sex song; thought it was gonna be, “fuck your face,” in an offensive way, lol! Nice job!! Must be King Arthur on tha 1st verse here. He sounds pretty horny fa dis shit, lol! He just keeps goin’ and goin’, both wayz (song and content), lol!! Uh oh, Terror on tha 2nd verse! LOL @ tha age of “82”! Likin’ tha “’Bauds” part, Terror. Even addin’ a lil’ bit of flava towards tha end of his verse wit his voice, too! DEFINITELY catchy in all wayz!! Too bad it seemed like it ended so fast fa somethin’ wit 3:22 on tha length… My Rating: 4.4

17. “Pussy Good”
ROFL!! RO-F-F-F-L!!!!! :rofl LOL @ Terror’s “okayyyyyyyyyyy!!!” Not bad for a start here. I like how tha 2nd part of tha hook iz tha title repeating. :tu Startin’ this 1st verse off wit Cage! He’s REALLY “a freak” when it comes to this joint right here as well as wit tha gurlz! :) Although a lil’ soft, I can feel it; I like Terror in tha hook. Yes Terror, you’re on tha 2nd verse! LOL @ “good like Campbell’s”! He sounds real into this song wit his vocals on here! Glad he gon “screw her like a sample”; that’s what’s good. :tu Good verse, Terror, as well as Cage doin’ his thang, too; y’all keep it consistent! :tu Let’s see what Jack gon offer on tha 3rd verse… He wants to “throw green on that pussy,” but instead, “throws cheese on it.” He’s REALLY into this pussy! Shit, now he wants to “throw a ring on it”; gettin’ his Beyoncé on! :tu Good job, Jack. He did his thang as well as fallin’ in luv wit dat pussy ‘cause dat “pussy good.” :) Also, when I originally reviewed this, I recorded tha review to this song on my video camera a while back; I should upload it sometime, lol. My Current Rating: 4.2

18. “Ready Girl” Feat. Supa
LOL, looks like a triple threat wit tha “girl” songs, lol! >>> Quiet start again but Supa’s back on tha feature! Oh, this iz familiar, lol… Came straight from Supa’s CD no less, lol! You know I luv those “Down Bad in tha building!” intros!! Good, this ain’t a boring female song! Not bad hook here and this time, tha 1st ½ sounded better, lol. Wow, just startin’ off wit “bussin’ a nut,” lol, from Cage!! You know he a fool wit this shit, and wow, his lyrics are gettin’ EXPLICIT!! That’s tha type of shit I REALLY wanna hear when it comes to female songs!! I don’t need to hear tha boring, “I’m wit my girl and we fucked”-type of lines. Tha more explicit, tha better!! Cut off Supa’s 2nd verse, lol… My Current Rating: 4.1

19. “180”
LOL @ this title… >>> Oh a flip, lol. I like tha title and tha hook; soundin’ good to tha fullest! Tha hook reminds me of Summer and sounds good, ya dig? Damn, Cage just TOO FUCKIN’ TIGHT wit tha 1st verse!!! I luv, luv, LUV y’all to tha fullest, ya dig?!? ALWAYS followed ERR-THANG y’all been doin’!!! I believe this iz tha best new song fa me, ya dig? Shit yea, it HAD ta get betta wit my big dawg Jack Da-fuckin’-Rippa on tha 2nd verse!!! :tu REALLY luv his flow and how he brings shit to tha table on tha 2nd verse, too, ya dig?!? Terror’s on tha 3rd verse, doin’ a nice job, too, lol! My Rating: 4.5

20. “Dirty Money”
What dis gon be like? >>> Sounds like more anticipated music although a lil’ shorter… Okay, this iz definitely catchy, too! Nice job from Terror on tha hook, doin’ tha damn thang!! Wow, talk about a TIGHT-ASS Jack Da Rippa on tha 1st verse?!? Damn, this CD’s startin’ ta peakin’ all of a sudden!! Terror’s on tha 2nd verse, too? Must be a Terror solo comin’ soon? My Rating: 4.3

21. “Blast Off”
Good thing we’re ending wit a song!! >>> A lil’ long on tha intro; how long will my anticipation last? This might be familiar, too? ‘Cause I remember this and Benny Benassi havin’ a “Spaceship” song, too… Well, I was wrong; don’t think I heard this. Tha hook’s pretty catchy… Terror’s on tha 1st verse, soundin’ catchy fa dis kinda song… Cage’s on tha 2nd verse, doin’ his thang, as always! Tha final verse sounds pretty catchy; Jack again, lol? Fuckin’ luv him!!! My Rating: 4.1

Overall: LOL, no “Locs On” but older songs? Anyway, what a REAL GR8 CD from y’all!! Y’all just KEEP tha HOT SHIT comin’ through!!! REAL GLAD I got a REAL GR8 feelin’ from reviewin’ today!!!
