Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0
– 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!
I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long
as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and
then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a
song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6
rating, I pretty much really love it,
as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I
hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type
before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song;
anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m
listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have
auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money (which I consider
‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!
>>>
“Str8 outta Hollygrove,” here; let’s get it! Sounds like a nice lil’ street

movin’ wit tha 2nd verse, here, soundin’ pretty nice, of course;
keep it goin’…! “We’ve got plenty of weed, tracks ta burn;” that’s tha way ta
do it! Tha 3rd verse sounds a lil’ calm wit tha flow & laidback?
A lil’ boring wit how it’s delivered; coulda left it out? Now, it sounds like a
long track… My Rating: 3.8

07.
“Brother’s Keeper”

verse toward tha near-end of this track, keepin’ it gangsta, of course…! My Rating: 3.9
09.
“Having Dreams” feat. Mary Jane & Shype
>>>
Decent start with a faster-than-usual laidback vibe, here… Hearin’ tha 1st
verse & it ain’t bad, here… Mary J on tha 2nd verse, here (not
Blige, lol) & it sounds okay; just a story with not much of a flow… Got
Shype on tha 3rd verse, here, speakin’ on tha life of a “G”; good
shit…! Not tha best vibe fa me but not too bad, overall… My Rating: 3.4
10.
Jail Call
>>>
“Kango” on da line… Ugh, hearin’ this reminds me of me bein’ locked up, smh! My Rating: N/A
½time: A 4.0-rated CD, so far; good shit!

Da Set
>>>
Sounds good, on tha streetz of a partner
in crime! My Rating: N/A
18.
“Black Folks” feat. Stimulus
>>>
I’ono, I thank it gon be a boring one, here… Hearin’ tha beginnin’ & it
kinda dry, between tha hummin’, this beat & tha calm rappin’… Random
transition to tha 1st verse? Sounds tha same to me, here… Hearin’
tha hook & it good fa tha “Black Folks,” here; just a lil’ too dry fa me…
Hearin’ tha 2nd verse & it’s okay; nothin’ special, tho… Hearin’

19.
“Be Home In A Minute” feat. Prime Time
>>>
A lil’ rough ta hear, here, since this sounds like somethin’ I just went
through… Tha beat’s jammin’ & tha hook’s about bein’ on “lockdown,” smh!
Hearin’ tha 1st verse & it sounds like tha shit you goin’
through, which I can relate; rough! Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ good;
crazy that this upbeat beat goes wit this jail content! My Rating: 3.9
20.
“Sprung” feat. Aldrich (AZ) Zeigler, Nickel Slick, Ray To Ray & Shype
>>>
Beat okay/jammin’; anotha weird beat ta jam to… Hearin’ tha 1st
verse & it okay; got tha hook goin’ on, now & it’s kinda dry fa me… I
mean, I get y’all wit tha “Sprung” vibe. It’s just, I’d rather not be in an
R&B mood fa these reviewz, here… My
Rating: 2.4
Overall: Most of this CD was good
& consistent, as far as y’all settin’ a bangin’ vibe. Some of tha dry
tracks, I ain’t really feel. Either way, y’all did a nice job & had some
good features, as well… For a CD that mainly turned one old CD review into an
entire marathon that’s been goin’ on fa 10 ½ years (since May 1, 2009), I have
to say, this iz iconic, right?!

Before
I get into tha next review, lemme give y’all an insight on yesterday: I guess
Superbowl parties aren’t what they’re meant to be? Each year, that stupid
Superbowl comes up, I usually am in my own world, mainly doin’ CD reviewz.
Yesterday, I was able to accomplish three CD reviewz and was on a high, as my
boy, Doe-Doe, shook back & iz now on Instagram! Even with tha work day a
lil’ off, I was really high on spirits. This prolly was my 1st
Superbowl party outside of my house that I’ve been to. Well, I guess it wasn’t
what it was meant to be. I was asked to go to someone’s house that I’ve never
been to, before, and not even five minutes into tha house, I got up to get a
sip of fruit punch, my seat got stolen by tha uncle & I was asked, “Are you
gay?” Like, really? I said, “Really? That’s why, they have weed in tha world!”
Then, continued to get harassed… Throughout my 28 years, I’ve been able to
overcome my autism/Asperger’s syndrome. However, last night, I felt like I was
a pre-teenager, again! I was laying on floors, just zoned out, listenin’ to
music and then, I went upstairs, went into some play set thing and laid in it…
I had a shit-ton of moodswings and was ramblin’ off a lotta bullshit ‘cause I
was pissed! A few times, includin’ when we went back to my boy’s house, a few
tears were randomly comin’ outta my eyes… With that bein’ said, tha party had
no alcohol, no weed, no risky activites and I ain’t get to talk to Doe-Doe
after I fleed tha party… WORST SUPERBOWL PARTY OF
ALL-TIME!!!!!!!!!! Now that I’m done rantin’ about tha night, here
goes my review for South Coast Shorty The Hot Girl, released in 1997 on
South Coast Music Group & features Partners-N-Crime, 7 Leaf Figure, Congo,
B Shype, Smoke & Recon. Start Time:
6:45 AM | End Time: 7:21 AM

Sounds like a good lil’ party-like song, kinda like what a normal Superbowl
party would sound like, if it was 20 years ago… Tha hook’s kinda catchy wit
this “nookie;” random? Nice lil’ representation
fa tha “5…0…4…,” here; good shit… My
Rating: 3.7
02.
Pete Wee (Woodro Kenfolk)
>>> Decent beat, here; sounds like random ramblin’… I’ono, but this
sounds like too much random ramblin’; I’ll just consider it a skit… My Rating: N/A
03.
“P Make The World Go-Round” feat. B Shype
>>>
An okay beat; odd singin’, here, wit this “pussy” that makes “the world go-round…” Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse
and you’re tha “pussy” teacher/preacher, here; bring it! Tha rest of this iz
ehh, especially with all tha B Shype parts… My Rating: 2.8
04.
“Take It From The Back”
>>> Now, a song fa tha dicks,
here; you doin’ a decent job wit tha hook, here… Tha upbeat beat sounds betta
than err-thang on this, at tha moment… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and
it’s a good lil’ “shake”-type anthem, here… Tha rest of this aight… My Rating: 3.0
05.
“17th Ward Anthem” feat. Congo
>>> A slower-produced track, here; decent sound on tha anthemic hook… Hearin’ tha 1st
verse and it’s soundin’ decent, here… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it
ain’t too bad, here; random lil’ 504-soundin’ verse… Tha rest of this ain’t too
bad, but why it 7:19?! I thought I was done wit it but I’m not even halfway
through it??? Aight, consider that two verses that went by—my bad, my
self-esteem’s so low, I can barely focus with everything goin’ on!! Well, I
guess this was two songs ‘cause it ends at 3:51? I really don’t understand…
Well, I rarely do this, but I’ll review this as two songs… Hearin’ tha next
part and it’s decent wit this beat/y’all rappin’… I prolly like tha 2nd
track betta, but I prolly feel like most are rated tha same, fa me… My Rating: 3.4
½time: This ehh… A 3.2-rated
CD, so far; it iz what it iz… Prolly coulda been a lil’ more hyped-up than
decent tracks, here…
06.
“Hott Girl”
>>> Sounds bouncy, here; nice lil’ semi-funky beat, too… Hearin’ tha 1st
verse and it’s straight…; what more can I say? Tha rest keeps it movin’, in a
decent way… My Rating: 3.5
07.
“Gotz No Time (Wickie Wickie)”
>>> Sounds like anotha decent track, here… Upbeat and on-n-poppin’,
tha way you know how ta deliver it, here… Good job wit tha rest of this, but I
have nothin’ ta really say… My Rating: 3.6
08.
“Take It Back Ta ‘89” feat. P-N-C
>>>
Decent lil’ bouncin’ beat, here, wit all y’all holdin’ this down… My Rating: 3.7
09.
“From The Back (Radio)”
See #4 fa tha review!
10.
Recon (Street Date Fall ’97)
>>> Should be exciting, if I haven’t gotten to check it out, yet… My Rating: N/A
11.
“Brother’s Keeper”
>>> Guess this iz Recon? Either way, sounds like a good street song,
here… Hearin’ tha 1st verse ova this nice lil’ undaground beat and
it’s soundin’ nice… Tha rest of this ain’t bad, but this CD’s vibe makes it
drag/boring fa me… My Rating: 3.7
Overall: I ain’t really fuck wit
this CD that much, but it wasn’t terrible…
So
outta it, but I shall continue and stay motivated!! My next review in my Louisiana Reviewz Marathon iz Smoke Where
Ya Baby Daddy At?, released in 1997 on South Coast Music Group! This CD

Broadcasting from Northeast PA, it's FrankieThaLuckyDog, reporting another loss in tha Louisiana Rap community. Walter McCallon, who was known as tha rapper/producer Tre-8, was in Algiers, Louisiana, when he got into a fatal car accident on May 28, 2011. In tha car were his spouse, daughter, two nieces, and nephew; he was tha only one that failed to survive. McCallon was active in tha New Orleans, Louisiana Rap scene: being a backup dancer and learning how to produce with producer/rapper, Ice Mike; being a part of tha group Westbank Coalition in 1993; going solo to become one of tha first artists to sign with Master P's No Limit Records label, which released his 1995 "Ghetto Stories"; appearing on various compilations throughout tha South; working for South Coast Music Group; forming his own labels, Smoke 1 Records and Purple Haze Productions; and releasing music with Houston, Texas group, Dem Haze Boyz. If McCallon lived 'til July 16, he would've turned 37 years old (online sources say he already was 37, which iz FALSE; Ice Mike confirmed to me on tha phone that he died at 36).
This iz my final show 'til around September; I'm goin' on vacation...

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0
– 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!
I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long
as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals & then
lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song
gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6
rating, I pretty much really love it,
as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I
hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type
before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song;
anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m
listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me or have
auto-tune in your vocals, I’m not
buyin’ it!

Tha lil’ beginning vocals from Pashion sounds gr8! You’re on tha 1st verse here wit some pretty gutta rhymes; I’m likin’ what you’re spittin’ here! Nice job wit tha 1st verse and originally, I thought you were gonna be on tha hook but it’s Pashion. I thought it would sound a lil’ betta; I’m not really inta tha sample added to tha end of tha hook too… You’re on tha 2nd verse here and it sounds like it’s gettin’ to tha point. Where’s Mo B Dick on dis joint? Tha 3rd verse sounds like shit I dealt wit in tha 90’s, only it was “Dada Why” for me, lol. My Rating: 4.3
07. “Da Lue” Ooh, looks like a “Lou”isiana anthem, lol!! >>> Tha beat’s pretty cool wit an upbeat sound here! Tha 1st verse’s soundin’ jammin’ wit you doin’ ya thang! Dat’ll NEVA go away!!! Tha hook sounds pretty strong here… Tha 2nd verse sounds good wit more strong shit goin’ on here… Tha 3rd verse expresses dat you lost dis “Nu$$ie” “in ’93?” Interestin’… I thought tha “Mama Why” joint was a lil’ catchier though but this iz pretty strong itself. My Rating: 4.0
10. “Deadly Thoughts” Anotha strong title… >>> This beat start at least sounds gutta as fuck! GR8 intro wit you talkin’; can’t wait ta do business wit you one day on tha phone! Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ good; a lil’ more gutta here wit how it’s bein’ delivered! Ooh, tha beat’s soundin’ like it’s changin’ a lil’ bit before tha 3rd verse? I hear tha “dunn-dunn-dunn-dunn” Bounce shit hidden in it! Ooh, DEFINITELY a betta sound this time in tha beat and tha 3rd verse sounds GUTTA too!! My Rating: 4.6
13. “My Shorty” Feat. Byron Dolieo Let’s hear what dis iz about. >>> Kinda cheesy for a start; tha beat ain’t all dat for me here. Sounds like someone’s havin’ a kid in tha 1st verse? An aight verse fa me but at least it’s real and it’s explanatory… Tha 2nd verse’s you deliverin’ what you want; you’re tha rescuer, lol. Tha 3rd verse iz dat singer and it’s okay but this iz startin’ ta become decent. Thumbs up fa havin’ a kid though… My Rating: 3.6
14. “Moss” Feat. Mo B Dick Let’s hear this one too… >>> Tha beat intro’s interestin’ for a 90’s undaground song. Ooh, a “smokin’” anthem!! Thumbs up ta Mo B Dick fa holdin’ it down on tha hook!! You’re doin’ ya thang here in tha beginning; good shit! Tha hook’s REAL GUTTA; luv tha “below sea level” parts!! Tha 1st part of tha 2nd verse sounds good on dis shit; glad you have your contributors, Skull!! Tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse contributed good too; keepin’ this shit up! “Big Gumbo”’s on tha 3rd verse here, lol! Oh, it’s not a verse, it sounds like just an outro? My Rating: 4.8
17. “Street Life” Feat. Ayanna Williams Dis looks like it’ll be anotha sad-type song based off tha feature. >>> Tha beat intro can be a lil’ anticipatin’ at tha same time… Tha 1st verse’s some real shit; not bad… Tha hook’s okay; I still like tha “Mama Why” one tha best… Okay, now I hear tha actual title part in tha hook and it’s a lil’ betta than tha 1st ½ of tha hook here… Tha 2nd verse iz tha singer and it sounds a lil’ dry… I dunno if she needed a verse; she was fine on tha hook.
