Startin’ it off! >>> ROFL @ “O Let’s Do It” + you in tha beginning! Definitely some hot shit!! Luvin’ how you come through on dis shit. I guess tha original version itself helps you get dat KICK-ASS flow, lol! My Rating: 4.5

LOL, you know what it iz! I remember in your interview, you tol’ me about originally havin’ tha name “J-Dawg” ‘til you found out someone had it in New Orleans… Anyway, tha production’s DEFINITELY HOT here and it sounds like it’s REAL HOT wit tha soundin’ here!! Nice job wit tha hook; I really like how tha title looks and you do ya thang wit this shit right chea!!! You REALLY have a gutta-ass voice fa tha streetz of BR right chea!! Tha 1st verse just TOO GR8 wit this street shit to tha fullest!! You’re on tha 2nd verse also here and it sounds good wit your gangsta shit right chea! Definitely likin’ tha production here from you; you got this undaground 225 shit on lock to tha fullest!! I’m likin’ tha energetic hook to tha fullest; DEFINITELY NICE!! Keepin’ tha street shit goin’ throughout tha 1st verse here wit this REAL HOT beat!!! Tha 2nd verse iz here and this dude soundin’ like he tha shit to tha fullest; LUVIN’ this flow!!! Neva knew tha featured person before… Tha beat sounds like a familiar mainstream song but it’s a Vybe beat… Pretty good hook too as you got this “pimp’n” shit on lock here… You doin’ a nice job deliverin’ tha lyrics here on tha 1st verse! LOL, there was only one verse? Pretty short but it’s aight… My Current Rating: 3.9

LOL, #10 again? Cool beat intro right chea and I hear someone different on tha beat tag right chea! Definitely good shit right chea and I like tha “get tha cash” shit on tha 2nd ½ of tha hook! You’re on tha 1st verse here and you really in tha mood and mode right chea fa anything!! We got tha 2nd verse right chea from Young Loc and he’s in tha mood also on this beat! >>> LOL, heard this before? Formerly called “Thuggin’”… So, his name iz pronounced like “toosky,” huh? What’s wit all tha “They Hate My” shit in tha beginning? Anyway, tha production sounds hot here and you have tha street shit on lock once again! Ooh, tha 2nd part iz Tusky and he sounds good fa hearin’ him fa tha 1st time! Glad you fuck wit some pitbulls when it comes ta dis shit; they DEFINITELY raw on tha mic! You really comin’ through “dumb, dumb, duffy” on tha 3rd verse right chea! Glad you “keep bringin’ heat,” ya dig? My Current Rating: 4.4

Shit yea, glad this iz back!! I think I heard DejaVu WAY back in tha early dayz of my Louisiana connection back wit DeTrane’s 1st two “Jigg City Radio” mixtapes! More feedback’s on tha original version of this song. For now, I just gon review tha added shit: DejaVu’s on tha 2nd verse here and she’s “off tha chain” wit contributin’ ta this shit right chea! I guess Lil’ Havic was right about this song bein’ like “four years old” ‘cause she just said, “’06 a good year but ’07, I’ma bubble!” Really, ’06 was good but ’07 was shitty ‘cause of tha shit I dealt wit at my 1st college! I’m REAL GLAD Louisiana took me away from dat bullshit!! Tha 3rd verse iz Young Cuzz and he crazy wit all tha shit he rappin’ ‘bout!! Glad we all cool wit him; he serious wit dis street/gutta shit! Sounds like this sounds old or somethin’ in tha beginning… Tha beat sounds like Late 90’s upbeat R&B and you sound like tha Early 2000’s wit your beginning voice… Anyway, pretty good soundin’, regardless, so far. Tha hook’s not bad; betta than average… Tha 2nd verse has more street shit goin’ on here, especially (once again) wit tryin’ ta “free” your boy. My Current Rating: 3.8


17. “’Bout What U Talkin’ ‘Bout” Feat. Young Cuzz
Good beat start; DEFINITELY dark and undaground right chea!! I hear a “die, nigga, die” voice in tha hook. I might’ve heard dat sayin’ before? Either way, this iz DEFINITELY gangsta shit to tha fullest!!! You’re on tha 1st verse and it’s grimy to tha bone!!! Let’s see dis 2nd verse right chea… Young Cuzz, doin’ tha damn thang right chea!! He “’bout ta get retarded” as he “holdin’ his nuts” and all dat shit! It can’t get anymore street than dis!! Gotta have street shit throughout tha WHOLE song, ya dig?!? I’m likin’ tha extra hook at tha end too as well as dat creepy laughin’! My Current Rating: 4.8

Watz good ya'll it's Frankie checkin' in. 'Bout to get into this anticipating mixtape that my dawg Jimmy The DJ sent me on tha e-mail tip. It's tha mixtape from DeTrane called "Jigg City Radio Vol. 1". DEFINITELY lookin' forward to this! By tha way, *FLASHBACK MOMENT*: On this date 4 years ago (February 24, 2004), I copped tha Trillville & Lil' Scrappy debut album "The King Of Crunk & BME Recordings Present: Trillville & Lil' Scrappy". It was my most anticipated album to cop of all time, as I waited EXACTLY one month to cop it (from 1.24.2004 – 2.24.2004). It was CRAZY & HOT, and I miss those dayz of crunk. But now, 2.24.2008, it's all about tha Louisiana music! That's what I'm REALLY feelin' right now! Izn't it "Boyz"? Yeah. It says that on tha "Gangsta Gumbo Vol. 1" mixtape, so I'm goin' wit that. Lookin' forward to this right here! >>> Very good start wit that intro, so definitely lookin' forward! I like tha combo hook wit tha "my nigga *insert somethin'*, my nigga *insert somethin'* / ma thug *insert somethin'*, ma thug *insert somethin'*." This iz definitely tha shit I wanna hear on this mixtape! Tha beat reminds me a lil' of tha Young Buck joint from 2004 (tha one after tha "Shorty Wanna Ride" video)… oh yeah, "Stomp". That dude that says "I'm hollain' 'fuck you'…" sounds like my boy Big Mike. I love how this iz long. Good line "I'm like a Budweiser, bitch, I twist caps." Good shit right here! My Rating: 4.3


03. Down Bad "Out Chea"
Good I wanna hear some shit from them again! High AL! >>> Nice low intro (as tha song sounds low on my stereo). *INTERMISSION* It's not a big thing, but just because I don't wanna get thrown off by tha "rare song" (older song that plays once every 2 months) playing on Music Choice Dance right now (Utada Hikaru "Devil Inside (The Scumfrog Radio Edit)"), I finna listen to that song while it's on (and look at her hot pics on tha screen too). *INTERMISSION ENDS* Aight now I finna hear tha rest of this joint! Still lookin' forward!… Tha hook reminds me of me reviewing it in tha past. *Checks their comments on their Myspace* Aight I wrote to them on August 16, 2007, but this song was on there. Either way, this song iz tha shit, and I finna rate it tha same as tha "My Nigga, Ma Thug" song. I wonder which song'll be better at tha end during tha rankings! My Rating: 4.3


04. Lil' Boxx "Full Throttle"
When I saw "Full Throttle", I thought it was gonna be A-Mar & Dyl for a sec (since that's what they represent). Lemme hear this joint. >>> Beat intro sounds like Dee-1 "Priceless", only faster. Ooh nice hook. This looks like this gon be good shit! 1st verse was good. What does "full throttle" mean (iz that a stupid question)? Does it mean doin' somethin' by keepin' it 100, doin' somethin' to tha max, or somethin' perfect? This iz just my opinion: when someone says "I keep a lot of girlz like a lesbian," I feel like that's a gay saying IMO 'cause lesbians are gay. It just sounds weird, but other than that, this joint was jammin'. My Rating: 3.8


05. Dyl "Bars & Apple Fanta"
Str8 from tha "Raggz 2 Riches" mixtape. Finna copy/paste my review from that to this: I like tha beat fusion mix in tha beginning. Not bad for a start, but it sounds like it's gettin' better when Dyl raps on this. Too bad there was no A-Mar on this. We'll see if I have tha same rating or better. I previously rated this a 3.8. >>> I feel it a lil' better now. I guess when I first heard it on that mixtape, I thought A-Mar was gonna be on it, so I think that decreased my chances of a higher rating tha last time, but this iz good. A slight increase. My Current Rating: 3.9 (+0.1 to tha previous rating)


06. Skiddalz "Different Flavors"
What can I say… … … "Skiddalz, taste tha rainbow!" Somethin' tells me this joint gon sound weird/be a dance or somethin'. >>> Lol it sounds like I'm goin' to dislike this… I don't like a gangsta beat wit a 12 year old sounding group. Yeah pretty good beat, but tha vocals destroys this for me. I can't go for this kiddie stuff. Sorry, if you're gonna be this young sounding, sound like tha Connecticut group Tha Smugglaz. In 2001, at Age 9 & 10 (youngest artist I eva heard at a time), they released "CT Anthem" in tha Fall of 2001, and that was some hot shit. This, no. My Rating: 1.6

EDIT: Aight wit all that shit you're gonna see for No. 8 that I said about tha female MC, I reheard tha "Jigg City Radio Break 1", and I got confused at first, but now I understand. No wonder why I didn't like that joint "Different Flavors". STL (which iz not tha best, but it's not Louisiana) + female MC + white female MC + young sounding = shit to me. That's 4 bad things for somethin' I wanna hear (no offense to white gurlz; ya'll can be sexy as hell, but I don't know about tha rappin'…). No wonder why I rated it so low!


08. Lil' Doonie Feat. K9 "Yo Swagger"
Lil' Doonie sounds familiar, but I ain't gonna say much 'cause I don't know what's gonna come outta this… >>> Okay I definitely feel tha hook. Looks like a good first verse iz comin' out. Nice beat too. That hook DEFINITELY can go wit tha way I feel at college. I could rock a nice fresh polo wit girbauds (oh how weird, as soon as tha 2nd verse started, that dude said "'bauds saggin'"; that's watz good). Anyway, I could rock a nice fresh polo wit girbauds, and then at my college, I'll see some dudes rock pajamas and get more respect than me. SMH/WTF? I think tha respect they get iz mainly from them "clickin' together" in a click. There's no female MC in this joint (I'm guessin' you were talkin' about "Different Flavors"). Definitely started to feel it towards tha end, and knowin' that there wasn't a female MC on it, I felt like tha rating should be better! My Rating: 4.7


09. Sugar Shane Feat. Lil' Boosie & Lil' Meta "I'm Dat Dude"
This sounds familiar… just that title. I'm gonna hear it first, but if it's not somethin' I heard, then I got a High AL for it! >>> Yes I heard this before. It wasn't ID'd like this. Shit… Where did I hear this from (I reviewed tons of things, but I think this was on "Gangsta Gumbo Vol. 1"). *Checks* Okay I found it in a review on my Myspace blog. It was from tha DJ Wizkid & Young Capone "1,000 Grams Straight Drop" mixtape (I reviewed it 1.26.2008). I guess Young Capone jacked that beat and Lil' Boosie's part, but this still sounds good. Yeah it's tha same Lil' Boosie verse, and this iz what I said about tha Lil' Boosie verse: Yeah Boosie went first, but smh… He's NOT tha "Wipe Me Down" cat. Foxx iz Mr. Wipe Me Down Boosie… SMH… Still good verse by Boosie tho. I finna keep tha same rating from that mixtape, but this still sounded great. Great beat and real great hook. My Rating: 4.4

Savage, keep doin' ya thang! That's a pretty good hook, but much better: that beat! Love tha beat by Savage! Nu$$ie did his thang on his verse. Good part by Lil' Cali too. Damn, there should be a mixtape in tha works of all Savage productions and one of all Mouse productions. That would be REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHHHHHHHHHTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!! Damn ya'll love ya "gutta bitch"es out there in Louisiana. I must've heard so many titles called "Gutta Bitch" so far. Let's see how this one'll be. >>> Okay this female sounds better than that one I rated low on here. At least she's a "stupid bitch, retarded bitch" (as she says, no offense). Call this gurl a "crunk bitch" or betta yet a "gutta bitch". I like Lil' Doonie's part where he says "got her name up in cursive". A great collabo of some hot Louisiana shit by male & female rappers! This iz like one of those first successful collabos. My Rating: 4.1


½time: This mixtape iz tight so far. Glad to see a Savage production, that song I rated 4.7, Dyl, and a bunch of other great jointz on here. Hopefully tha next 12 are just as good!

Where's tha 627? *Looks on Wikipedia*… Aight I got nothin', and I'm gettin' nothin' in Google. Maybe this dude'll say what it represents. Let's see if this iz good also! >>> This iz a lil' over 2 minutes. Hope it's great for somethin' this short. Tha beat sounds weird in tha beginning, but it picks up later (at around 1:20), even tho its still got that weird sound in it. Good shit tho. Great hook! My Rating: 4.2


14. Six Figgaz "U Can't Do My Dance"
I saw tha name Six Figgaz, and I thought I was gonna have AL, but that title just destroys my AL 'cause I don't wanna hear no dance type of shit… Low AL. >>> Oh no it's 4:29. Tha only thing I like in tha hook iz tha "watch me, watch me"'s. Bad hook tho. How come if I dislike a song like this, I'll hear somethin' about girbauds. URRGH (just heard it twice in here)… Iz that a way for me to like this, lmao?? Tha way they rapped sounded REAL good. If this wasn't about somethin' related to a dance, this would've been tha shit. This gives me a High AL. Looks like it gon be dope. >>> Lol @ it taking like 9 seconds to get into it. "Got purp rolled up, yeah dat's wuzzup" Feel this line in tha hook ("purp rolled up" = good luck). I don't have much to say about this. This iz just some good-ass shit! My Rating: 4.3


16. Down Bad "Jump Clean On 'Em"
I was just about to say that I was gonna have lots of faith in tha No. 16 joint ('cause I always predict a REAL BIG banger), but I reviewed this on August 16, 2007 on Down Bad's Myspace (I remembered tha title 'cause I had to look for tha other one on this mixtape). I didn't give it a rating, but lemme copy/paste what I said about this joint: Nice hook. Nice beat (feelin' it). I like them (u guys) talkin' about girbauds. That's what's good. Yeah this a banger right here. Thumbs up to tha boyz of Down Bad. To continue wit that "'cause a nigga fresh, like tha first day of school / beat a nigga ass, like tha last day of school." Hot shit right there!! To go wit tha girbauds, thumbs up to tha polo shirts. They're now becoming a favorite of mine. I also like how tha lyrics in this are mainly describin' a "fresh swag". I thought I heard this before (was thinkin' tha ID was wrong), but no, new joint for me! I like how A-Mar iz rappin' on that first verse. Had Hurricane Chris's flow locked on 100%. It sounded like Hurricane Chris a lil' too. Gotta feel this for a jacked beat. Feelin' that hook too. Sounds real tight! My Rating: 4.2

Aight during this week, 2.18.2008 – 2.24.2008, I've been doin' tha Music Choice Dance airplay (keeping track of tha current songs they play currently). Yeah it's only shitty 'cause they mainly play Pop/R&B dance remixes and tha oldest dance shit in heavy rotation. MCD ain't tha same as they were in 2004 (they were tha SHIT back then; new dance songs in heavy rotation and some good "outta nowhere" shit/unsigned shit got into low rotation as well). Next week, week of 2.25.2008 – 3.02.2008, I'm gonna be doin' tha Music Choice Rap airplay. Since I'm doin' tha airplay right now, I gotta check back to see what played ('cause I record it off of my VCR for 6 hours) and then I type it on my laptop. It usually takes me like 17 minutes for a 6 hour taping, so if I don't type much, it's 'cause of tha airplay. >>> Good beat intro. Feelin' that long intro. Okay we got a great hook & vocals on this joint. I didn't think this joint was gonna be this good. Good unexpectation. Oh I see this joint iz 4:48. Good thing it's long.
