Comin’ up next, I have a review for anotha newbie. Outta Baton Rouge, LA, we got Kell, signed with Sick Spit Entertainment, Time 2 Use My Gift Vol. 1! I’m feelin’ anticipated fa this one ‘cause I found out about him through Benjamin Racks! Even has a unique birthday: June 27, 1982; he in tha ’82 – ’84 category!! Even tha front cover look like a ViperGFX cover from when them ’82 – ’84 babies were mainly active (’06 – ’10 dayz)! Too bad it ain’t, but whateva! How will he hold up? We shall see! I like how you had an “R.I.P.” to “Handy” and then, on tha 2^nd verse, “Left Eye!” Excellent rhymin’! You like a grimy version of Percy Keith, a lil’! Hey, I done found me a link, finally! Oooooooh… >>> Thought tha beat was gon be faster, but it’s really slow… I expect you ta slaughter this one! Sounds like a regular-soundin’ rap song fa tha south, but it still cool… Nice rhymes, regardless… My Rating: 4.0

>>> Beat nice fa tha south, once again… Hearin’ tha hook and you sound like one of those rappers that’ll go down in history when you pass; good shit! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and I’m definitely feelin’ all these man-made sound effects! “Ching-Ching!” Excellent job with makin’ a catchy track!! When you say, “Sellin’ CDs & DVDs,” on tha 2^nd verse, it sounds like some of that throwback shit I used to love from ’04 or somethin’! Good shit! You holdin’ it down like a boss!! My Rating: 4.3

04. “Megan Good” feat. Benjamin Racks

Got a sample off of Benjamin Racks postin’ it and it’s pretty catchy! Here go da review! >>> I like how tha beat sounds like a special version of a mainstream/typical track; that Baton Rouge version! Tha hook pretty catchy with this title, too; undaground shit at its finest! Tha 1^st verse ain’t too bad from you, here; good shit! Can’t deny! “Just bought a loud pack, hope it’s good like Megan;” of course, it iz! So great ta hear Racks on tha 2^nd verse, here, deliverin’ tha catchiness! Always loved how he sounded on tha tracks! Usually, he more wild than this but this still cool ta hear a somewhat-laidback Jefferson (that’s his real last name), lol! I told Racks to neva quit this rap shit; he gotta keep continue! We only 28!! My Rating: 4.4

05. “You Gone Learn” feat. Mayl Man, Kyre, Le, Tic & Pacman

Recognize some of these names… >>> You gettin’ me anticipated wit tha beginning, here… Diggin’ tha “retawded” shit in tha beginning! Yeah!! This my shit, right chea!! Nice lil’ repetitive, hyped-up hook!! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it gets me excited ta hear a bunch of newbies in tha beginning! Gutta shit fa tha 225, of course! And, tha 2^nd ½ of tha 1^st verse’s nice! “Pills kicked in;” I want edibles!! Tha 2^nd verse’s soundin’ nice, here; definitely in tha zone! Tha 2^nd ½ of tha 2^nd verse’s soundin’ a lil’ tougher wit how they comin’ through wit it! Good shit—dope shit!! Diggin’ how tha 3^rd verse’s soundin’, here! Different voices fa different flows that I’m lovin’! My Rating: 4.6

>>> I’ono how much I gon feel this, so let’s see… Hearin’ tha hook and I like how it sounds like a gutta tale with tha beat and how you sound… Hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse and it sounds good; deliverin’ like a G! I like how you say, “That he miss you,” as well as tha lil’ background, “Trippy, mane;” nice! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and it’s soundin’ betta fa me; likin’ this story! Usually, these kinda songs ain’t really fa me, but tha beat helps keep my interest up… Also, I’m interested in your story! My Rating: 4.5

! >>> A decent hook; I like how you say, “Nigga think I’m green outchea,” on tha hook, as it’s interestin’… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it sounds nice over this decent beat… Tha 2^nd verse ain’t too bad, here; decent track… My Rating: 3.7

½time: This CD pretty dope, here! Definitely feelin’ your boss-life status, holdin’ it down on these beats! You got tha aggression and nice energy ta hold shit down! Not ta mention, your features hold shit down, too! A 4.3-rated CD, here!

>>> Of course, this shit tight! Nice job on tha hook wit this nice-soundin’, Baton Rouge-soundin’ beat! I luv how you hold down tha 1^st verse, here! “Drugs on me;” you tha shit!! Tha 2^nd verse’s pretty nice from this Mayl Man, here! Anotha Baton Rouge breed at its finest! I like tha “picture / pitcher” shit, too! This Tic on tha 3^rd verse, or are they flipped on tha ID? Sounds like a mysterious voice, but it still nice! My Rating: 4.3

09. “Ass Like That” feat. Carleone

>>> Sounds like a simple lil’ club banga… Not really a Baton Rouge sound, here, but it still nice; catchy hook… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it “fleek”tastic, here… Tha 2^nd verse ain’t too bad, here; not much ta say… I’ono why, but when I hear tha beat outro, it’s makin’ me appreciate tha beat more… My Rating: 3.8

10. “First Time”
>>> Not diggin’ this beat start; sounds like a jacked beat—a NY one! Hearin’ your rhymes and they’re good, but I don’t have much interest… Funny how this mainly about “Mary Jane;” really needed a betta beat!! My Rating: 3.5

11. “Hold It Down” feat. Mayl Man

>>> “Glen Oaks, Baton Rouge” representa, here (you)… Hearin’ tha hook and it sounds great with this beat, too! Nice job wit how you’re comin’ through wit it on tha 1^st verse, here, holdin’ “it down!” Tha Mayl Man on tha 2^nd verse, here, spittin’ a nice lil’ story about “tha school zone;” dope! Lots of streetz, too; dope! My Rating: 4.2

12. “Rado Truck”

>>> Beat a lil’ different fa an upbeat one, but it sounds nice wit you doin’ ya thang on this hook! Luvin’ this celeb life-type lyrics! Gotta luv livin’ like dat! I be celebratin’ like dat, now! Hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse and it’s soundin’ nice; jammin’ shit, here! And, a 2^nd verse ta squeeze in here, wit only 23 seconds left! Nice lil’ quick ending, all tha way till tha end! My Rating: 4.3

13. “Sky’s The Limit”
Gay title, especially since havin’ Tic on this CD kinda brings back those thoughts! And, tha name’s in tha title, smh!! >>> Beat’s nice fa a southern, laidback one fa tha streetz… Can’t take tha title serious but tha hook good… Hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse, clockin’ “in!” Anti-“employee” shit, here, as you wanna be an “employer;” I feel ya! So many customers at my job think I own tha place; fuckin’ right! Wish it was so! Nice lil’ 1^st verse; I can relate! Tha 2^nd verse ain’t too bad, here, as you continue ta hold it down… My Rating: 3.9

14. “Cypher” feat. $tevo, Le, Tic & Grip

>>> Ain’t expect this ta be a jammin’, upbeat, soundin’-like-‘90s/early 2000’s-type beat, here! Sounds nice wit how you’re comin’ through on tha 1^st verse! And, tha beat continues ta brighten up tha hype wit $tevo on tha 2^nd verse, comin’ through nicely! Le on tha 3^rd verse, deliverin’ shit on tha mic; can’t complain… After those three verses, a lil’ beat interlude appeared… I ain’t expect tha beat interlude but it still soundin’ nice ta transition to tha 4^th verse (Tic); good shit… And, tha 5^th verse (Grip), holdin’ shit down, too! My Rating: 4.3

15. “Real Niggas Do (Outro)”
>>> Likin’ how tha beat sounds nice and slow, here… I like how you’re handlin’ this hook, here, leadin’ tha way to those listenin’! Diggin’ how you comin’ through on tha verse, here! When you say, “I’m 1-0-0!,” I instantly think of you as a Skull Duggrey breed! “1,000!” My Rating: 4.1

Overall: Great job with this one, Kell! You got a bright future ahead of you, whether it starts at age 34 or not! I don’t even look at it as an age thing, anymore! I just consider it, “He’s six years older than me;” that’s concrete, right there! But yeah, excellent job wit how you handled tha tracks, spittin’ your stories & props to tha features!

03. “No Socks” (Pac Mane Feat. Jimi Jump & NNDG)

Damn, I didn’t know this was his song; I should’ve known so I knew how to ID it on my radio show when I played it… LOL, originally called “Out My Socks” and now called “No Socks”? :confused ROFL… My Current Rating: 4.5

04. “Galactic Spunk”

I like this title; should be pretty interestin’… >>> Hearin’ tha fast hi-hats in tha beginning; I feel a higher BPM sound comin’… This iz a lil’ boring wit tha flow but tha beat’s pretty nice wit this fastness… This iz also somewhat cheesy, too; I guess not many rappers can handle tha 120+ BPM style? I feel like this could be a mainstream song wit its cheese… My Rating: 3.7

05. “I Ain’t Trippin’”

>>> LOL, sounds like a ‘90s song wit this beginning; what’ll this be like? LOL, a smooth vibe and lol, some dirtiness!! Feelin’ these really descriptive rhymes! From everything from “lick my balls” to this “suck me like a slurpee” shit iz A++ wit handlin’ tha content!! LOL, this song’s progressin’ so fast for a slower-soundin’ song, lol; definitely feelin’ this!! I should play this on my radio show—if tha station can let tha F-word slip so many times in a song/song playin’ so much, then this ain’t comin’ close! It’s tha curse that kills it, not tha content! ;) My Rating: 4.7

I rated it a 4.2, originally, although it sounds like it’s a rip-off of One-i/Jayroc/Lil’ Cali “Big Deal” from 2008. My Current Rating: 4.2

07. “Where She Get That Ass From” (Dre Chatman Feat. Jimi Jump & NNDG)

This looks like somethin’ I could look forward to… Even though he added me a while back, I hope to hear from Dre soon… >>> Sounds good, especially wit tha female! I like tha “my grandma said she like this nigga” part; I feel like dat’s my rappin’ grandma (not “like-like,” but to “like” tha people that fuck wit me)! Tha 1^st verse iz consistent as fuck wit tha rhymes! Definitely feelin’ ‘em; lol, they don’t stop!! Here’s Jimi on tha 2^nd verse and once again, anotha A-soundin’ verse from him; no matter how many Jimi Jump songs/verses I hear, I’ll always luv how he comes through on ‘em!! “Call me so I can make it juicy fa ya;” I guess ‘08’s always in our mind? My aunt Arline gave my cousin Jackie a Christmas 2008 present last night and I was like, “tha Nu$$ie-Alive times [November 2007 – February 9, 2009] will always be active for some reason,” lol! Tha 3^rd verse sounds good, too; definitely tha jam right here and mega-thumbs up ta my boy Dre doin’ tha “damn” thang!! My Rating: 4.7

>>> Thought this would be a typical, bullshitty-soundin’ song but it’s somethin’ catchy wit tha hook; nice phone call in tha beginning… Ooh, nice 1^st verse wit tha “marijuana” shit, lol! Even though some of tha flow iz repetitive, I don’t think I’ll get sick of this catchy tune, lol! Tha production has some interestin’ flava, too! My Rating: 4.4

09. “Showin’ Up” (Max Minelli Feat. Lil’ One The Champ, Reno & NNDG)

How come people think Max Minelli iz a compound word? :confused I think you should be in tha feature, regardless; shouldn’t be an “& Reno & Hoo by NNDG” ID… But, seems like I really felt this when I first heard it; G-Motivation iz that big dawg on tha beat (*phone rings* “T-Motor”)! My Current Rating: 4.6

½time: Pretty hot CD; surprised dat tha high BPM song was tha only under-4.0-rated song, hence my luv for Dance music! But yea, thumbs up on your production and tha great, 3^rdLife Music-affiliated, 9/5 Music Group-affiliated-type people!! A 4.4 iz tha CD rating you got, currently!!!!

What do we got here? >>> Sounds like it could’ve been a good skit in tha beginning. Ooh, tha beat sounds pretty gutta wit this style… Yes, anotha orgasm! Seems like you have some hidden, tight-type shit goin’ on, here!! Yes, a catchy-soundin’ flow, too! Sounds like you’re one of tha next people ta get a mainstream hit? I can sense it! My Rating: 4.3

Finally, a correct spelling and also, you’re listed! Tha 1^st time I saw this song, tha title was spelled wrong and you weren’t even on tha feature! My Current Rating: 3.9

Should be anticipatin’!! >>> Yes, this sounds like a Late ‘90s/Early ‘00s sound!!! Feelin’ tha hook wit this “bounce yo lil’ booty!!” Glad Jay has quality on this track, too; seems like you have no way of disappointin’ anyone!! Tha 3^rd verse iz Jimi, doin’ his thang, once again!! My Rating: 4.3

Ooh, anotha Dre song? Gotta hear it!! >>> Tha beat intro’s good but almost scary; there’s, like, a gamble, here, wit if it’ll be all-tha-way good or all-tha-way wack… Hearin’ tha hook and this shit sounds good; catchy content for tha clubs and this “robot” shit! Tha 1^st verse sounds good; “tha BR troopers from BR!” :tu Yes, this my big dawg Dre on tha 1^st verse; glad he doin’ his thang, ya dig? Gotta give him exposure!! Tha 2^nd verse iz keepin’ this shit goin’…; same thing wit tha 3^rd verse, too. My Rating: 4.4

Looks tight… >>> LOL, startin’ wit an orgasm? A song about “open charges” and street shit? What made tha orgasm come outta nowhere? Was that someone’s beat tag, lol? :rofl Must be Trickmane on tha 1^st verse; this shit sounds pretty good on this okay-soundin’ beat… Tha 2^nd verse ain’t too bad, either; lol, “nerdy?” More like scientist, lol. LOL, random bonus? This should be real nice, especially since I think this iz tha 1^st time I’m hearin’ a song from Teflon Pit as tha main artist!! >>> This shit’s definitely gutta; gotta feel dis!! LOL, tha orgasm came outta nowhere; must be a beat tag ‘cause this iz too gangsta fa orgasms, lol! Really feelin’ tha rhymes and hopefully—prayin’—one day I can communicate/do business wit Teflon Pit ‘cause he one of those valuable rappers in tha 225!!! This sounds like tha good, ’06 – ’08 Louisiana-soundin’ shit dat I really like; thumbs up fa this bein’ a bonus!! How old really iz this? My Rating: 4.8

Anotha bonus; hope it ain’t a fucked-up ending like tha Jimi Jump bonus song from him! >>> LOL, tha orgasm beat tag again… Good, it sounds normal from him; kinda decent but it’s betta than bullshit! This should’ve had a feature ‘cause it’s kinda long for just him and not much things changin’… My Rating: 3.7

Overall: What a hot CD you got here, Nate! Really feelin’ tha fam you got on here as well as that lil’ bonus from Teflon Pit, which blew every other song out tha water, lol!

I got anotha hot review comin’ fa y’all… Jimi Jump “Street Love Vol. 2 (Hosted by DJ PK1)”! Now I know I had trouble obtainin’ his other CDs (other than “Here’s My Resume”). But luckily, this one got out there and I got it! I like tha back cover wit tha store and shit, lol. DEFINITELY lookin’ forward to finally gettin’ ta dis!! Start Time: 9:31 AM | End Time: 10:40 AM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Based off tha smooth intro while tha previous song was ending, I know dis gon be pretty nice!! >>> Yea, J Buc on tha beat! Pretty good on tha hook here… Tha title’s definitely cool here; good shit! Dre added me on Facebook not too long ago. I thought that was a big dawg move!! What up, Dre?!? Good hook, ya dig? You’re doin’ a nice job on tha 1st verse here; keepin’ it consistent! LOL @ tha “eat me” line in tha 2nd verse. LOL @ tha “I be in ya shit like a camera wit a zoom…;” dumb shit!! My Rating: 4.3

AHHHH!! An ’08 song!!! I played this on my radio show a few times, lol! Even though I reviewed it two years ago, I still agree wit how I feel about it. It still sounds tight; feelin’ tha T.I. sample, ya dig? Tha flow’s definitely nice, too! It’s all about keepin’ it consistent wit dat voice you have, ya dig? My Current Rating: 4.4

I wonder who Yani iz… I feel anticipated ta hear somethin’ like dis, ya dig?!? >>> Tha beat start iz really hot!! Too bad PK1 didn’t announce Yani on tha feature, too; PK1?!? Anyway, sounds pretty cool wit you on tha 1st verse holdin’ it down on dis beat! Almost had low anticipation for tha hook when I heard tha “swag” part but this iz definitely nice; good job on tha hook, Yani! Switchin’ it up to tha tight Max on tha 2nd verse! “Video-tape that shit;” I ALWAYS do dat, Max! That’s why I have SO MUCH to show to tha world!! I audio-tape things, too! That’s why I was able to create a posthumous interview for someone, ya heard me?!? My Rating: 4.3

I hope this iz an anthem and not a sad song… >>> Who’s “Post Production”? Not bad for tha start here… Not too crazy about tha hook, unfortunately. Sounds a lil’ mainstream and lol @ her singin’ tha word “nigga” outta nowhere… LOL, only one verse? I guess that’s what it was only worth, lol! My Rating: 3.5


07. “Newsflash” Feat. Kevin Gates
Forgot tha “s” in tha title, lol? I made sure I checked ‘cause tha “‘s” iz missin’ from tha last title, too (on tha back cover). How hot will this be? >>> Sounds like a very, very long intro… I feel like I just wanna hear it already! I keep hearin’ tha Guss tag get mixed for over a minute now, lol?!? Not bad wit you on tha 1st verse although I felt a lil’ bored after waiting so long… Tha hook’s kinda plain; just mixin’ and “newsflash,” lol? Kevin Gates said, “…bring tha action on tha track,” so iz it a D. Jackson beat? I still feel like it sounds like Guss ‘cause of tha mixin’ sound. Not bad of a consistent verse from Gates, too… My Rating: 3.9

Damn, this song’s not even 100 seconds long… >>> Sounds hot; I’m likin’ it and tha energetic beat! Good verse and lol @ tha ending wit tha official hook from Dre; sounded like it came outta nowhere… My Rating: 4.3


09. “Purp N Lean”
Keepin’ it goin’! >>> Another HOT anthem that really caught my attention based off tha beat and tha catchiness throughout tha hook!! Nice job wit tha 1st verse here; keepin’ tha flow and everything consistent! Keepin’ it cool fa tha 2nd verse, too. I like tha slowed-down ending! My Rating: 4.5

Let’s hear this J Buc beat! >>> Nice and “real slow” for tha beat (just like one of your older songs, lol)! DEFINITELY feelin’ tha beginning wit tha “weed” shit; doin’ tha damn thang!! Tha “___ on” shit sounds like a Kevin Gates Jamaican voice, lol. Tha hook’s pretty catchy; too bad this joint’s kinda short… Good collab wit Level; you DEFINITELY got tha hook up wit these features!! My Rating: 4.5

You forgot tha “e” in tha “feat.” on tha back cover; it makes Lil’ One look “fat”, lol… How good’ll this be? >>> Wow, DEFINITELY keepin’ it goin’ here without any disappointment!! Tha production’s DEFINITELY nice and you keepin’ it goin’ wit your attitude and strictly keepin’ it HOT!! Tha hook’s cool, too. Just like tha “Purp N Lean” one, it has a catchy flow on tha hook! Lil’ One contributin’ wit his “snake,” lol! He’s even on tha 2nd verse here, soundin’ like a fully-focused A.R.! LOL, a “sex dinner”? This iz definitely interestin’; keep it comin’!! LOL @ tha “you should see my microphone” part; sounded like a white boy there, lol… This continues wit a 3rd verse, too; shit yea!! LOL @ tha start to tha 3rd verse: “bumpin’ dat Drake;” ROFL? Rather hear a Louisiana CD! Anyway, it turned out to be a pretty good verse… My Rating: 4.4

>>> Thought I was unanticipated when I heard tha snappin’ in tha beat ‘til PK1 healed that, sayin’ E.P. produced it (EDIT: EQ, my bad, lol)! It’s soundin’ pretty good and I’m likin’ tha consistency wit tha feature! You’re doin’ a nice job wit tha 1st verse; sounds like recently wit tha “weed” and shit, lol! LOL, what a simple-ass hook? ROFL!! How much did it cost to have Mouse say two words? LOL… I guess more money spent ‘cause he’s on tha 2nd verse here, doin’ a betta, less-plain job, lol! Kinda shitty/typical start to Lil’ One’s verse here but I know it fits good for tha track itself… My Rating: 4.2

What’s up wit tha under-three-minute songs? This CD started off short but then went to, like, five-minute songs. Anyway, let’s see what we got here… >>> Sounds quiet wit tha beat and already starts wit tha Nu$$… Good but extremely typical from what I’ve heard from him so this iz nothin’ new to hear. It’s always good to have different people on tha songs, though. Tha hook sounds familiar here… This iz pretty nice, regardless. This looks anticipatin’ ‘cause of tha newbie towards tha end and tha somewhat-new Pac-Mann! >>> This iz pretty hot; tha hook’s definitely nice, too! Can’t complain when you have a hot song like dis!! You’re on tha 1st verse, doin’ tha damn thang! Must be Pac-Mann on tha 2nd verse, goin’ off here!! He seemed pretty political on his promo CD but now sounds like he gained some energy! Got ta hear dis from one of Box’s CDs. Joe On The Track doin’ tha damn thang!! I just really liked dis one for some reason! I guess ‘cause of tha multi-collab! Beat’s a lil’ dry for a start but sounds good wit tha Pimp C hook so you know this iz tight! Box’s on tha 1st verse and tha rhymes are DEFINITELY official once again!! You’re on tha 2nd verse, Jimi, and you always sound anticipatin’ and cool on tha mic here fa me! Very consistent; y’all doin’ tha damn thang together!! Couldn’t’ve had anyone betta than both Juvie and Mouse on dis shit!! “Too” (lol again) bad you ain’t got dat “Real Slow” joint on this CD… Then again, I haven’t reached #23, yet, so we’ll see… Good job once again from Juvie and tha hook from both you and Mouse iz DEFINITELY hot, still!! Gotta luv tha ’08 sound and all tha greatness it brought to me!! You did a nice job on tha 2nd verse, too; “2 pieces,” lol!!
