I ain’t really have tha review power I had, tha past few dayz… Just been dealin’ with a lotta anxiety at work & always gettin’ ignored by Louisiana artists, at tha moment… It’s really gettin’ to me and I’m gettin’ really upset about it, deep down inside! :( But, lemme at least get anotha review in… Here goes my review for Baddfellaz, outta New Orleans, Dead Presidents, released in 1998 on Righteous Records! Start Time: 4:28 PM | End Time: 5:33 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. Looks like a dope collab, produced by Don Juan, here! >>> Sounds pretty nice… It sounds like a nice, more-undaground version of No Limit, here? Definitely dope! Excited ta hear this! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it’s pretty dope, between tha voice & rhymes, here! Hearin’ tha hook and it’s pretty dope! Sounds like a simple, typical hook about “where you from,” but it ain’t a bad thang! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and it’s soundin’ nice ta hear…! Tha 3^rd verse iz soundin’ like an undaground boss’ verse, here, holdin’ shit down fa tha streetz down! “Girbaud crease…;” dope shit! My Rating: 4.5

Plyreem on tha beat! >>> Wouldn’t fuck wit this shit if it was recent shit… I’m not a fan of “cash” rhymes/songs, but this a decent lil’ hook/beat… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it sounds like good, consistent rhymes fa this “cash” topic… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and here, it’s all about tha “dirty money;” keep it movin’… Hearin’ tha 3^rd verse and it’s pretty good, as well… My Rating: 3.8

Don Juan doin’ tha track! >>> Decent beat, here…; hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it’s nice… A 2^nd ½ of tha 1^st verse, here, and it’s good, as well… Tha voice sounds betta on tha 2^nd ½ of tha 1^st verse, so I’m fuckin’ wit it more… And, a 3^rd part of tha 1^st verse? Decent, here… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s nice wit this whole attitude of tha “middle finger;” dope shit! Oh, all verses in one? I’ono, I might’ve confused tha order of err-thang, here… My Rating: 4.2

Plyreem beat; nice title! >>> Beat’s smooth fa tha ’98, here, with a West Coast twist… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it’s decent… Tha hook sounds like a decent hook, here, holdin’ down tha laidback flow… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and it’s soundin’ decent, as well; a lil’ more southern voice, this time… Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 3^rd verse, here, soundin’ okay… Endin’ it with a female, here, soundin’ decent…  My Rating: 3.9

Plyreem on tha beat, here… >>> Sounds like a nice lil’ beat that’s darker… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and tha rhymes sound a lil’ like preachin’ vs. street, here; good shit… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s nice with this screwed sound! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and it’s soundin’ good, here… Keepin’ it movin’ with tha 3^rd verse and it’s soundin’ nice… My Rating: 4.3

Should be interestin’ wit Mannie Fresh on tha beat, here! >>> A lil’ more jammin’, here, as tha 1^st verse’s soundin’ pretty nice on this beat! More of tha 1^st verse, here, as we have a 2^nd ½ of tha 1^st verse, soundin’ nice wit tha “Girbaud jeans!” Cheeky sounds pretty nice, here, representin’, as well, on tha hook! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and it’s pretty nice, as y’all continue ta bring it! Keepin’ it goin’ wit tha 3^rd verse, here, as y’all holdin’ this shit down! Tha 2^nd ½ of tha 3^rd verse’s a lot betta; dude really bouncin’ on this beat, here, wit dat “gumbo!” Da “gouda!!” My Rating: 4.4

I’ono, but some of these spellings iz anticipatin’ me even more!! Plyreem on tha beat! >>> Nice lil’ beat, here, soundin’ gangsta wit tha shots… Great job wit tha verses, guys! Ain’t realize this only 1:25, here… My Rating: 4.2

How about, a decade later, BluBlack & Pezie, outta Baton Rouge, remade this! Ain’t realize they knew this?! Tha “throw yo numbers up” shit sounds just like theirs! Crazy!! Neva know what’s next in tha reviewz! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse and it’s pretty aggressive, here! Hearin’ tha 3^rd verse and it’s a lil’ calmer on tha voice, but they “don’t give a fuck like O-Dog,” lol; random… My Rating: 4.5

Playa beat, here… >>> Sounds like a catchy lil’ tune; luvin’ tha hook! “I’mma B-A-DD-F-E-L-L-A-Z!” Catchy lil’ beat, too…! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it’s pretty nice, consistently spittin’ dem rhymes!! Got tha 2^nd verse goin’ on, here, and it sounds good ta hear, as well… My Rating: 4.4

16. “Dead Presidents” feat. Courvosier

Plyreem doin’ tha production… >>> Kinda sounds like a NY-soundin’ track or somethin’ that 50 Cent would rap off of, or someone else? Decent, here, but why iz it 6:56?!? I don’t even need to say anything! My Rating: 3.0

Overall: Most of this was pretty nice, here; definitely dug it! Great job wit this one, guys! Gotta keep it movin’!!

Feelin’ tha rhymes; a lil’ bit of a Max Minelli flow dat sounds tight wit tha rhymes! Ooh, tha both of y’all are rappin’; definite plus!! My Rating: 4.3


02. Trigga “A Lil’ Freestyle”
I wonder who dis iz… >>> Sounds like it could be a voice effect in tha beginning? I guess it iz, lol. Hearin’ Trigga and he sounds good; really freestyin’!! This iz a pretty-good “freestyle;” nice job wit this good beat in tha background… My Rating: 4.2


03. Don B Feat. Top, Che & CoaCoa “Get This Party Started”
Looks like some serious shit… >>> LOL, a yummy-soundin’ female in tha beginning, lol! Tha beat’s nice and fast and sounds good wit tha rappin’; nice jam… Tha hook sounds good wit tha female; nice, sexy singin’! Tha 2nd verse sounds like a Mystikal pace wit tha rhymes; definitely a nice verse wit tha rhymes!! Ooh, Mystikal attitude, too!! Tha 3rd verse iz good, too; I guess it’s tha BPM in tha beat dat helps tha fast rappin’ develop! LOL, thought there would be room for a 4th verse but it’s good ta continuously hear tha hook! My Rating: 4.5


04. Mr. Ivan “N.O. Story”
Ooh, Ivan’s here; let’s hear what he gon spit on this “Compilation”!! >>> Sounds good; rhymes are definitely A+ wit tha content!! Tha flow also sounds like it’s on a good-soundin’ tip; prolly would’ve expected a betta-soundin’ beat but as long as there’s somethin’ behind Ivan, tha rest iz history! Such a real-great “story” about some real-ass shit goin’ on in tha “N.O.;” thumbs up fa deliverin’ this ta us listeners!! My Rating: 4.7

LOL, he by himself; let’s see how he gon do it… >>> Didn’t expect tha long intro; kinda long but at least there’s somethin’ different goin’ on… I’m hearin’ tha song, now, and tha beat’s tight and so iz tha rappin’! Tha content’s soundin’ good, too; ooh, “comin’ out tha telly wit tha Graveyard Soldjas…;” glad you mentioned one of my favorite groups!! Tha hook sounds catchy; I dunno about those “big mouth” people out there, ya dig? Tha 2nd verse iz continuin’ this hot shit wit a lil’ bit of gangsta lyrics; thumbs up fa dis! My Rating: 4.3

Really likin’ this beginning wit tha hook and tha title; gotta luv tha inhalin’ sounds!! Ooh, nice 1st verse wit tha delivery and tight-ass rhymes!! Tha title really says it all when it comes ta other rappers, ya heard me?!? Tha 2nd verse iz gutta, too; nothin’ but dat shit dat you gotta luv!! Ooh, some mo shit comin’ through in tha 2nd verse from someone else (one of tha two of y’all); definitely a tight collaboration, here!! Couldn’t’ve asked for a betta description of tha 504 hood!! Tha outro sounds good, too; all about bein’ alert! My Rating: 4.8

LOL @ tha spellin’ of tha “muthafuckaz” and tha artist name says, “P-N-C/Primetime;” I originally put Partners-N-Crime but I’ll put tha double name. >>> This sounds good fa PNC; nice beat, good rhymes, and you already know, some shit ta stir up controversy in tha undaground Rap world, lol! My Rating: 4.4


08. Lil’ Slim “Hard Hitta”
Lookin’ forward ta hearin’ Lil’ Slim! >>> Thumbs up fa tha intro; gotta tell ‘em like it iz! Good rhymes; it’s all about how ta come up in a true way! Long or not, Lil’ Slim’s always got shit on lock!! My Rating: 4.2


09. Poppi “Dead Soldjas”
Wonder who dis iz… >>> LOL @ tha sad, fade-in beat intro… This iz a sad-soundin’ song but for some reason, I’m likin’ how tha beat sounds… Tha hook sounds good fa a lady bein’ added to tha vocals; nice combo. Ooh, tha lady breaks down inta extra singin’ toward tha near-end, too; get ‘em, gurl! My Rating: 3.9

Iz this Calico Calicoe The Champ? Wonder what dis iz… >>> No, doesn’t sound like Calicoe, at first, but it’s soundin’ decent, currently, wit an okay beat… LOL, tha hook came outta nowhere and sounds just as good, only betta… Tha 2nd verse sounds much betta wit this voice and tha gangsta shit goin’ on; keep this descriptive shit comin’!! Ooh, hearin’ Calico rappin’, now, and it’s soundin’ good; guess this iz a different dude, afta all, lol? Nice collaboration, overall, guys! My Rating: 4.2

Lookin’ like a mega-collab wit a lil’ ova five minutes on tha length! >>> This iz definitely tha shit; gotta feel tha “runnin’” theme from tha “cops!!” Really luvin’ those gutta vocals near tha end of tha hook!! Glad they repeat a few times, too!! Tha 1st verse’s soundin’ real nice wit this paranoia-type rappin’ wit tha bravery and kick-assness when it comes ta deliverin’ shit about tha hook and this attitude!! Ooh, here’s tha 2nd verse, soundin’ like a New Orleans version of Sam I Am, mixed wit a lil’ bit of Mystikal!!! Nothin’ gets betta than somethin’ like dis!!! Damn, even some rapid-fire rappin’?!? It’s all ova; this iz easily a perfect-rated song!!! I don’t even have ta hear tha rest!!! Tha 3rd verse iz A+, too; sounds like a good, Tupac-soundin’ voice wit some gutta-ass shit fa tha streetz!!! LOL, I thought there would be a 4th verse but it’s a nice ending wit some gangsta-ass shit!! Feelin’ tha gunshots!! My Rating: 5.0

Rhymes are soundin’ good, too; had ta follow-up a great intro, ya dig? All y’all doin’ a nice job, here, comin’ through wit quality-soundin’ rhymes, ya feel me? My Rating: 4.5

I like how this artist name looks; this should be some good shit! >>> Ooh, G-Funk sound outta nowhere, lol, as well as tha hook! Rhymes are soundin’ good, too; glad this dude showin’ luv ta tha 504 Rap scene, too! LOL, long-ass song dat serves its purpose!! My Rating: 4.3

Let’s see what’s good wit dis one! >>> LOL, fade-in beat intro, again, dat sounds like R&B music? Why iz this R&B shit doin’ here? No less, it’s almost five minutes long! Not really my interest, unfortunately. My Rating: 2.5


16. CoaCoa “Over Lovin’ You”
This dude’s back… >>> Damn, now it sounds like a mix of Lite FM! I dunno if I like this betta than tha previous song… I guess tha Lite FM/Kenny G-soundin’ background music, mixed wit some Urban beats, iz trickin’ me inta likin’ it. However, tha shorter length iz betta than tha previous song’s long length! My Rating: 2.6

Hope it’s not anotha R&B song… >>> Yea, this iz worse and tha longest outta ‘em; not much goin’ on here, either… My Rating: 2.2

Overall: Even though it was a lil’ shaky toward tha end, most of this shit was nice; good job wit this “Compilation” disc, B!
