R.I.P. Video #77: Hassan (Husaholic)

Recorded December 10, 2020

Broadcasting from an abandoned fort, here in Eynon, PA, it's ya boy, FrankieThaLuckyDog here, sadly reportin' anotha tragic loss in tha Louisiana rap community.

Hassan Clayton, known by his original stage name as just "Hassan" & later known as "Husaholic," was shot multiple tymes inside Houma, LA nightclub, Club Nu Vision, at 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 3, 2020. Clayton passed away shortly after he was taken to a local hospital; he was only 38 years-old. According to tha HPD, Clayton wasn't tha only one identified as a victim. Twenty-Five-year-old Daquan Johnson was also shot at, dying at tha scene.

Husaholic was born Hassan Clayton on June 21, 1982, in Houma, LA. Holic was inspired to pursue music, thanx to his older brother, tha late Vicious. Holic was also influenced by Scarface, Soulja Slim & others. Holic was first featured on two tracks from his brother's 2002 release, I Ball Like Kobe. In 2004, Holic made an additional four appearances on his brother's release, Walk Like A "G". Fa 2007, Holic released his 1st mixtape, Convenient Amnesia, courtesy of 1008 Grams Entertainment. Durin' tha following year of 2008, tha two brothers teamed up to bring Am I My Brother's Keeper, courtesy of both 1008 Grams Entertainment & Vicious Entertainment. Followin' up tha collaboration project, in 2009, Holic celebrated with tha release of Husaholiday. In 2011, Holic continued for tha Boot wit tha release of Chips, Clips & Scripts. He also brought to light tha G.I.F.T., an acronym for Get It Fast Team. Later releases from Holic include Addiction & Ambulance Call, Vol. 1. Holic's world was shaken on February 18, 2019, when his older brother passed away from Stage 4 cancer complications, while incarcerated. Holic continued ta hold his brother's legacy down till December 3, 2020, when he was murdered, while at Club Nu Vision, in Houma, LA. Earlier, on June 21st, not only did I celebrate my 32nd birthday but Holic celebrated his 38th birthday, as well.

Review #1,599: Lil' Cali "Unfuckwitable"

Reviewed on 11.29.2016 (Review #1,599)

Have been a bit moody since I didn’t get my way last Tuesday, when I was ‘pose to have a special visitor to resurrect my Louisiana Awards. However, they couldn’t make it up to see me, so it ain’t happenin’! I’m not happy about it at ALL!!! I’m not important, sadly!! I decided not to post anything on Facebook & Instagram, so I’ve been post-free for a week!! With that bein’ said, lemme get back into my own world and review… Here goes Lil’ Cali Unfuckwitable, released on Uncut Entertainment, Travis James Entertainment & UTP Records! Start Time: 3:26 PM | End Time: 4:07 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> “ iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> “ iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

© 2016 CD Review (Review #1,599) reviewed on 11.29.2016 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Gotta Get It Intro”
>>> EQ on tha beat! Should be good… Beat sounds pretty good; nice job with tha hook, here, Cali! Hearin’ tha verse and it’s soundin’ pretty nice, here; grind mode on lock! Acapella rappin’ at tha end; nice! “Where yo doe-doe?” Nice!! “Doe-Doe!!” My Rating: 4.2

02. “U Suppose To Shine” feat. Kevin Gates
No Gates listed on tha feature? Where are tha features? *Checks…* Yeah, what’s with tha uncredited feature from Gates? Tracklistin’ trippin’! My Current Rating: 4.8

03. “Money Hungry”
Not my kinda title, so let’s see how this goes… >>> Kinda not mindin’ this, at first… Yeah, this “chase that paper” shit on tha hook ain’t really fa me, but it ain’t soundin’ wack, here… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it a lil’ cocky, but it ain’t too bad… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it ain’t too bad, here; soundin’ nice ta hear, as always… And, a 3rd verse, here, jackin’ a lil’ bit of Gates with his “don’t know what to call it” shit… My Rating: 3.7

04. Funny-Ass Mike Skit
>>> Kinda funny, but kinda ehh… My Rating: N/A

05. “One Way” feat. Level & Mouse
>>> Mouse doin’ tha beat, here! Speakin’ of this title, last night, I had a dream that I was at my hater’s house and Wne’s mom (I think it was tha mom) came through; crazy… This sounds catchy with tha hook, especially tha 2nd ½ of it with tha “hit that bitch (hit that bitch)” shit! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ good; can’t complain, here… “Seven dayz, same clothes, I can grind all week;” that’s me, right there! So much workin’, who needs ta change at home? I feel ya, Cali! And, we got Level on tha 2nd verse, here, uncredited, but soundin’ hyper, of course! Just luv how he comes through wit it! Shit’s sick, as always! Tha most-energetic dude!! And, anotha feature on tha 3rd verse: Mouse On Tha Track! Definitely soundin’ nice, here! My Rating: 4.5

06. “Middle Fingers”
>>> Sounded like Level on tha intro, as I almost couldn’t tell what tha tag was… However, I heard tha EQ Tha Misfit beat tag and, this sounds betta than tha intro track! Definitely feelin’ tha “middle fingers” shit on tha hook, dedicated ta Mr. EQ! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s pretty jammin’ on this beat; superstar status! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s pretty nice, too! You good at creatin’ a jammin’ vibe, here, as you’re all peppy and holdin’ shit down! My Rating: 4.3

07. “‘Bout Whatever” feat. Tweeday, Level, Beelow, Scotty Cain & TeeJaye
>>> A Beezy Bird “bow” sample in tha background, here; nice! Great job wit tha beat, $hop With Ken! And, it almost sounds like Level’s joinin’ you on tha hook; nice! Hook’s definitely energetic; gotta feel it! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s pretty nice from you, holdin’ this track down! Gotta luv that it’s official! Oh, heard tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse be Tweeday; nice! Definitely as hype as Level, here! I remember when I first started fuckin’ wit Tweeday; no one knew him! Now, err-body be knowin’ err-body! I’ono why, especially when y’all don’t wanna be friends wit anyone! And, I was right about Level, here! Here he iz on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit even more energy!! I’ono who tha dude iz on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse, but he sounds familiar; definitely nice, tho! And, I’ono about tha dude on tha 3rd verse—wait, I found it on YouTube! TeeJay, Beelow & Scotty Cain I ain’t know about; nice collab! Tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse’s pretty nice, too! Good shit! My Rating: 4.6

½time: Definitely nice lil’ CD, here! You got a jammin’ vibe and you ain’t stoppin’ tha energy! Great collabz and productions at all times!! A 4.4-rated CD; keep it goin’!!

08. “Da Plug” feat. Young Dolph & Mouse
!! >>> Sounds nice with Mouse doin’ tha beat and hook; tight shit! It’s all about “da plug!!” Think: Edibles!! Tha minute I started this review, a lil’ bit went into me! Wait till this CD’s ova! It’ll be on!! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse, Cali, and it’s soundin’ catchy; gotta luv tha flow/delivery! And, Young Dolph on tha 2nd verse, here, uncredited, but soundin’ nice! Can only imagine how y’all got these kinda connects when people just continuously fail ta see me…? Definitely a great collab, here! Y’all doin’ tha damn thang! My Rating: 4.5

09. P.S.A.
>>> Thanx fa dat! Yeah, this a bonus CD, not “mixtape!” It ain’t mixed!! My Rating: N/A

10. “Ain’t ‘Bout To Play” feat. Scotty Cain & Mouse
>>> Mouse doin’ tha beat, here, wit his “#DatMe!” Nice lil’ laidback, southern beat, here, on a more serious level… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and you survivin’ this bitch-made world… And, Mouse doin’ anotha hook, here, holdin’ it down! Ain’t recognize tha voice on tha 2nd verse but I looked and it says Scotty Cain. So, with that bein’ said, nice with tha feature… My Rating: 4.3

11. “Love Making Money” feat. Wochee & Mouse
Ehh… >>> Tha beat and Mouse intro/hook has me a lil’ hyped… But, you know I don’t fuck wit this shit at all! Wonder what I’ll rate it? You on tha 1st verse and it’s nice; you doin’ ya thang, as always… Ain’t recognize tha voice on tha 2nd verse, but it’s Wochee, soundin’ nice, here… For a “money” track, I ain’t mind this one that much, surprisingly… My Rating: 3.9

12. “Taking Off” feat. TeeJaye
Vroom! >>> Anotha Mouse beat!! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it’s pretty nice! When you had a lil’ bit of flava in your voice before tha beat kicked in, you sounded a lil’ like Juve… I have to say, props for tha flava! A decent-soundin’ 1st verse, here; keep it goin’… Oh, here we go wit a feature! Who can it be, on tha hook? *Checks…* TeeJaye! Here he iz on tha 2nd verse, too, doin’ his thang… My Rating: 4.0

13. “Real Nigga” feat. Red On Tha Track
>>> A slower production, here…; can it last? I’ono about this loud beat that’s a laidback, slower one, but it’s ehh… Red On Tha Track doin’ tha hook and it’s whateva; not too crazy about it… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it’s not bad; it iz what it iz… Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ boring with these chicks… My Rating: 3.0

14. “Get It Up” feat. Zoe Realla
>>> A Ken production, once again! Sounds pretty catchy wit how you comin’ through on tha hook wit tha repetitive title! I like how you gave “Nu$$ie” and “They Hate My” a shout out on tha 1st verse; definitely nice! Thinkin’ about Nu$$ie, it’s safe to say that I’m like Nu$$ie at my job! If they lose me, they lose a legend!! I think that edible startin’ ta kick in a lil’; uh oh!! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ nice from Zoe, always doin’ tha damn thang! Great job wit how he doin’ tha damn thang, here! And, more from you on tha 3rd verse, here, Cali, comin’ through, divin’!! My Rating: 4.3

15. Lil’ Cali Outro
>>> Yeah, I went and got it through a $50.00 subscription… But, y’all can buy it on iTunes! Yeah, great job with stayin’ consistent wit tha CDs!! Tha Neighborhood Superstar CD was definitely nice!! My Rating: N/A

Overall: For this to be before Neighborhood Superstar was correct! Sounds pretty nice, especially to follow up with somethin’ better, too! Well, this shit done kicked in, so it’s off to video games and great music before my job existed!! Props, once again, to tha production and tha surprise features!!

Review #1,435: Racked-Up Ready "Street Laws (Reloaded)"

Reviewed on 2.12.2015 (Review #1,435)

Time ta keep these older reviewz goin’! Tha ones that sadly won’t make it into this record label that’s behind me’s online articles ‘cause tha artists refuse to send me these mixtapes on time, smfh! This one’s Racked-Up Ready Street Laws (Reloaded), sponsored by B.O.W. Entertainment. Let’s hope this goes by super-fast and that there’s a lotta repeat songs on here ‘cause I have absolutely no time for a 77-minute mixtape, right now! Gotta keep workin’ and gettin’ dat money, exactly like y’all do when y’all push me to tha side! So, let’s hope this goes by super-fast!! Start Time: 5:01 PM | End Time: 6:08 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! 01. “Fred G”
Kickin’ it off wit a new song wit tha length of today’s date… Before I even start this, I think it’s only right that I…
HAVE TO TAKE A SHIT!! *Takes a shit at 4:01 PM…* *Returns from shitting at 4:05 PM…* >>> Definitely diggin’ your voice a whole lot while talkin’ on tha phone; dat Louisiana slang! “I was mad at you…;” and, y’all talkin’? If that’s anybody like B-Real, they randomly get “mad” at me and don’t be talkin’ to me, at all. Then again, I ain’t have no value in this music business at all! Anyway, nice phone call… My Rating: N/A

02. “It’s Real”
X-Fyle on tha beat… >>> Sounds great wit tha beat and how you sound on tha hook; pretty nice, though you have no reason to unfollow me on Twitter, at all! Don’t even think I can play you in my car or around people ‘cause of that; can’t recover easily, especially wit B-Real still havin’ me blocked. Anyway, tha 1st verse sounds good to hear… Tha 2nd verse sounds good, too, especially wit havin’ “tha blunt” and lettin’ “it burn.” Nice job wit how you lacin’ tha track… My Rating: 4.3

03. “Play Of The Week”
Supa Lo on tha beat; no repeats, yet? >>> Sounds like a catchy intro wit tha beat and how you say tha intro; nice hook, too… Tha 1st verse sounds good wit how you “water-whippin’” on this track… “Don’t no nigga owe you nothin’;” I wish that was tha case wit tha Louisiana people I deal wit. I can’t tell you how many people feel like they “owe” me somethin’, especially those that are so insecure that luv to block me! SMH! I should’ve been paid fa so many thangz and should’ve been paid back from shit I’ve done for people; I feel like I have no value… Continuin’ on wit tha 2nd verse, here, and it sounds good; I’m diggin’ what you spittin’, as well as tha endin’ wit tha, “I don’t know my neighbor!” My Rating: 4.3

04. “Wit The Shit”
300 Gang beat… >>> Definitely not diggin’ tha random beat tag in tha beginning; can we go back to tha dayz when there weren’t any?! Either way, I’m diggin’ tha beat and tha hook ain’t too bad, here… “Free ___, he retarded;” censored at 1:24? Betcha it was Boosie? Sounded like a “Ba…” before it censored it. But then again, if that’s tha case, wouldn’t I have heard this, already? Don’t recognize it… “R.I.P. Phat & Black Roy;” well, tha original Street Laws had just came out when Roy got killed, so maybe, I ain’t know this—whateva… Nice job wit tha 1st & 2nd verse, either way… My Rating: 4.0

05. “I Need A Bale” feat. Percy Keith
Fuck, too many new songs, too fast? Supa Lo on tha beat… >>> Really likin’ tha beat start, here… Hearin’ tha hook from you and it sounds nice to hear… “Wait, that’s a sale, callin’ on my cell;” I thought Percy don’t have a phone? I asked him for his # multiple times, and he read tha message without respondin’, smh. Fuck, I wish I could just get outta this fuckin’ music business ASAP; I thought I fell off, already? When will it be ova?! Anyway, here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit tha “deals” ta school on these people; not bad… Of course, Percy on tha 2nd verse; gotta go in one ear and out tha other ‘cause he unfollowed me from Twitter, outta nowhere, as well, smfh! So, with this in-one-ear-and-out-tha-other review, he sounds great on tha 2nd verse; diggin’ what he spittin’! Wish I could just play it, but then, I might just die from diabetes complications, since hearin’ anybody that did me wrong’s like a diabetic eatin’ buku chocolate! My Rating: 4.4

06. “Master P” feat. Gucci Mane
Sure, you pick tha worst one outta tha regular Street Laws, produced by Q-Red… My Current Rating: 3.1

07. “Stay In Ya Lane”
X-Fyle on tha track… >>> Diggin’ tha beat and what you be spittin’ on tha 1st verse; nice rhymes fa tha streetz… Tha hook sounds pretty good, here, except fa tha, “I’m really gettin’ money,” shit; dat shit gotta die! That’s basically tha death of quality rap of tha 2000’s fa me, and tha poisonous death fa Louisiana-soundin’ Louisiana rap fa me, since err-body brings “money” up in their shit, smfh! Tha 2nd verse’s good, too, but why so many “R.I.P.” shout outs? Almost 27 years in this bitch and I’ve not had one person die outside of my family; how ‘bout dat? My Rating: 4.3

08. “What U Been Thru”
Wodie on tha beat… >>> Why that old-soundin’ tag wit Ganggsta, or whateva it iz? Ain’t it so far down in tha past? LMAO, I had no car, wasn’t chargin’ fa shit, and didn’t even smoke/go out at night, back then, LMFAO!! How faggy!! Diggin’ tha years of tha 2000’s on tha 1st verse, here… “2003, murda charge; 2004, murda charge,” and more! Tha hook sounds nice ova this quality-soundin’ beat, too; gotta dig it… Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ good, too; it’s all about keepin’ it street fa your 30’s! Just like tha R.I.P.s, why all tha, “Free ___’s?” And, even down ta all these, “Shout out,” parts? It’s like, I’ll fuckin’ neva get shouted out in nothin’, and I put tha most work in!! Let alone, I just celebrated havin’ 5,000,000 views on YouTube, last night! Where tha luv?! My Rating: 4.3

09. “Thin Line”
Drum Gang on tha beat… >>> A nice-soundin’ beat; can’t complain… Hearin’ tha hook and I agree wit how people be changin’. Then again, why’d you unfollow me on Twitter? Contradicting your own song? Think about it! If it was that easy to unfollow me, it’s that easy to refollow me! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds a lil’ insecure wit tha, “I don’t owe a nigga shit,” shit? You mentioned it in anotha song, but sayin’ it so many times sounds like you’re beggin’ to defend yourself wit it, but most-likely, you’re contradictin’ yourself of actually owin’ somebody “shit!” Just statin’ tha facts! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ good to hear; can’t complain… Damn, I’m gettin’ hungry, but I must continue this review! See, how ‘bout dat dedication?! Gonna starve ta death by reviewin’ your CD; can you do somethin’ like dat fa me?! My Rating: 4.3

10. “Dope Man Bitch”
Fuck, like my co-worker says, “I wanna go home!!” Can’t be sittin’ here for hours… Savage on tha beat, smh. >>> Definitely feelin’ tha beat start and tha hook sounds good… Sounds like a random appearance/sample from Trina on tha hook? Wonder what dat was…? Proceedin’ onto tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some nice shit… You still got your girl’s “phone?” Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s pretty good, as well… Somethin’ about this current music: It has tha quality and it sounds good, but I don’t think it has tha lasting status. Like, I don’t see me even thinkin’ or rememberin’ these songs like I would with your 2006 – 2009 music… My Rating: 4.3

11. “Go Get It”
Lil’ Ken doin’ tha beat; at least it’s a refreshing producer! >>> I see a lotta 4.3 ratings for this CD; let’s see if Ken can break that trend… Definitely diggin’ tha beat a whole lot; almost sounds like a bus or some kiddy sound honking on tha intro beat? Definitely diggin’ it a whole lot!! You claim to “only rap” on “Ken or Savage’s beats,” but there’s plenty of producers on here…? Anyway, catchy hook; beat’s fulla pure quality!! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ pretty good, too. “He charge five, but I hit him wit $1,000;” when am I gettin’ dat kinda money fa all tha promotion I been doin’ fa tha past eight years? SMH, I bet I don’t see a fuckin’ penny! I’m worth fuckin’ shit!! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s good, but just stay away from any money-related shit; just keep it in tha streetz! Damn, at 2:10, it sounded like, “Damn,” or somethin’ was censored? Weird… My Rating: 4.5

½time: Very consistent-soundin’ CD, but mainly, not that memorable for me? Most of tha ratings are tha same, but I think it’s ‘cause of tha kinda state I’m in, wit tha music business… Keep tha hot production and street content comin’; 4.2 for tha CD rating, currently.

12. “Whaddup”
Just luv how this Q-Red-produced track always keeps reappearing… My Current Rating: 4.9

13. “When I Want To”
Anotha Ken beat! >>> Really diggin’ dat bass and tha beat, here; nice job, Ken!! Catchy hook, too; you got it goin’ on, on here, Ready… Kinda soundin’ a lil’ cocky on tha 1st verse, at times, but it’s still listenable… Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ good on this beat, too; can’t complain, really… My Rating: 4.4

14. “Hold That Noise (Remix)” feat. Yo Gotti
We all know: Savage on tha beat. My Current Rating: 4.5

15. “Nothing To Live 4” feat. Eastside Shawty & Zoe Realla
SMH @ tha LiveMixtapes site spellin’ his name as “Zoe Realer;” really? “Zoe Realla!” No producer listed; let’s see what we got here… >>> Beat start sounds like Izze the Producer… Hearin’ tha hook and it sounds good, despite it havin’ “money” in it… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it sounds good… “Free ___” @ 1:02; really? Guess this goes ta show you this older than it should be? Let’s see how this Eastside Shawty gon be… Sounds good fa a start, like it’s Baton Rouge at its finest… “Nothing” much ta say, except that he kept it consistent fa Baton Rouge wit his rhymes… Now, we got tha 3rd verse, and I’ll let you know, Ready: It’s someone that follows me on Twitter! Same thing wit Mouse & Ken, they know what they doin’! Hearin’ Zoe on tha 3rd verse and it’s soundin’ good ta hear; nice! My Rating: 4.2

16. “I Did That” feat. Madd Marvin, Fly Goons & Cain Muzik Mafia
Forgot tha “D” in “Mad Marvin,” LiveMixtapes! Million Dollar Girl on tha track; a girl? >>> Really likin’ tha beat intro; sounds like that 2006, Throwback Thursday, Junkie Medicine (Cocaine Edition)-type shit, like B-Real would’ve produced; anticipatin’! Sounds like a nice hook, here; good shit! Nice job wit tha 1st verse, too, spittin’ some nice shit fa tha streetz…! Keepin’ this goin’ wit tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse wit Mr. Marvin; good shit! Like how he ended tha verse wit, “Wit dat shiiiiit,” holdin’ tha note on, “shit!” Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ like some nice street shit, fa tha 2K14… Lots of gun-related shit; nice ta hear when it’s just rhymes, but definitely keep dat shit away from me if I come to visit Louisiana, wheneva I make my debut… Anotha dude on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse, and it sounds good; nice job wit this Baton Rouge shit! Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and it’s a weak start fa me, wit, “Money on my head;” really? Why? But, it still sounds nice ta hear… Only one dude—oh, it’s Zion City Juice (or, Z.C. Juice)—on tha 3rd verse; nice job, either way… My Rating: 4.4

17. “I Don’t Know No Better” feat. Lil’ Dundray
Looks like tha Meek Mill & Yo Gotti song, “Know No Better,” on tha title, produced by Lil’ Neil. >>> Why tha repeatin’ beat tag in tha beginning? Annoying… Hearin’ tha hook and it sounds good, and didn’t recognize that it was Dundray on tha hook. Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it sounds decent to hear… And, anotha “R.I.P.” shout out, of course, with tha feature… Three years later, thinkin’ about it, I should’ve made a tribute video ta Dundray. However, after that one dude, Gus, from Dhat Fam dissed my Wne tribute video, I swore that I wouldn’t make a tribute video fa anybody unless I knew them for a while. My products should neva be disliked! I’m always ahead of my time! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ good ta hear, too; can’t complain… My Rating: 4.2

18. “RubberBands” feat. Ray Vicks
No producer listed; not in a money-related mood, whatsoever! >>> Really likin’ tha beat start, whateva this iz… Hate to admit this, and I know it sounds like a guilty pleasure, but I like this! “I’m addicted to rubberbands;” likin’ how you deliver tha hook ova this nice beat! Even tha “marijuana” shit; gotta dig it! Tha 1st verse from you sounds good ta hear; can’t complain… Ehh, I know when I hear, “Gettin’ money,” I instantly dislike it; yeah, kinda a hurdle, but whateva… Hearin’ Vicks on tha 2nd verse and he sounds good. Hmm, I wonder what “weed from California” actually tastes like? Would luv ta know!! My Rating: 4.5 (shocking!!)

19. “Police On Dispatch”
Diggin’ tha title, but I’m not in a Savage-produced mood—oh wait, these songs go in one ear and out tha other, after this review’s done, due to B-Real blocking me! >>> Volume’s a lil’ quieter on tha track, here… And, just like tha previous song, this has a guilty pleasure vibe ta me, too; diggin’ tha faster-soundin’ Savage beat! Tha hook sounds great, too; great, energetic-soundin’ Ready track! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ pretty good; definitely luvin’ how you can bring it on a faster-soundin’ track! Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty good, as well; thumbs up fa makin’ a better-soundin’ track, Ready! My Rating: 4.6

20. “Get To The Business” feat. Scotty Cain & Tony Teezy
X-Fyle on tha beat; let’s keep it goin’… >>> Wow, these beats are startin’ ta catch my attention more than tha 1st ½ of this CD! Sounds nice from X and this sounds nice and undaground… Instantly, when I hear tha hook, I can tell this some ‘90s baby-type BR shit… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it sounds pretty good; can’t even tell who it iz, since I been so M.I.A.—yeah, let’s hope I’ve fallen off so I don’t know shit! I would assume it’s Scotty Cain, since they said, “Mafia,” at tha end of tha 1st verse… Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse and it sounds nice; like that you’re rappin’ pretty fast… Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and it’s this Tony Teezy dude, who I’ve neva heard of before… I’m definitely diggin’ his aggression, street content and how he be comin’ through on tha verse; great job fa a debut verse fa me! My Rating: 4.5

21. “I Want You” feat. Wochee
Chief Yella on tha track; I don’t think I’m anticipated… >>> Beat sounds much betta than I expected… Likin’ tha hook, even though it’s kinda on a Short Bus Boyz “Loosen Up (Shid Who)” tip, wit tha, “Shiiiid, who?,” shit… Either way, definitely catchy! Hearin’ tha 1st verse, and you’re strictly layin’ dat dick down fa these bitches, here; great job… LOL, “Now, you wanna stalk my home;” really, ROFL? Hearin’ Wochee on tha 2nd verse and he’s kinda soundin’ like Wayne, when Wayne would say, “Nothin’, nothin’; you ain’t scarin’ nothin’…” An okay verse, but wow, he ended tha verse with, “In my Ready voice?” Sounds like somethin’ I’d say, but I wouldn’t expect it from a Louisiana dude… Bleh @ tha 3rd verse start from you, Ready, wit tha, “Instagram,” line…; whateva… Shit, what I gotta do fa you ta follow me? You want me to piss in front of you, so we connected? You want me to fuck a girl in front of you? Tough luck that it takin’ me so long ta get ta Louisiana! Tha unfollowin’ shit’s only gonna delay my debut trip! My Rating: 4.1

22. “Real Nigga 4 Life” feat. Lady Kym
Chief Yella on tha track, again; don’t think I’m anticipated fa this one, either… >>> A nice, long beat intro… Hearin’ tha beat and it sounds pretty nice, includin’ this quality-soundin’ hook from Kym; nice! However, I don’t think you fit havin’ a female on tha hook, Ready; you seem like a dude-dude… But, whateva, it sounds good, here, and tha 1st verse’s soundin’ nice from you… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse right now from you and it sounds good, with a “short temper.” However, a lotta tha people I grew up with, in my family, have “short” tempers… Nice that you “only trust Ken,” but damn, how many times you gotta mention “Mista?” One main reason why I don’t focus on him at all! He was only 2009 – 2011 fa me; afta dat, too many people been suckin’ his dick and lickin’ his nuts! My job iz to only focus on this that don’t get that much attention. You know, tha actual undaground! So, all that otha shit ain’t fa me, at all! I mean, it’s quality, but it goes in one ear and out tha other, just like how y’all treat me! Like, what happened to tha Mista dayz when I would get shit from Easy Hustle Entertainment in tha mail, and I’d be tha only one ta have it? Now, tha world sucks ‘cause everything’s on YouTube or online and no longer exclusive… Like, I remember when Mista dropped a song in 2010 and him and his producer, Young Hits, had no idea what tha song was called! I just titled it, “Yeah;” talk about a real exclusive! My Rating: 4.4

Overall: Looks like this turned out to be a really good CD; can’t complain about it… You really kept it consistent, as always… Whataya, lock yourself inside a studio 24/7 and put out music non-stop? Anyway, I got anotha one ta review for you, right afta I get done postin’ this one…

Review #1,329: I-10 Wes "Wes Nile Virus Vol. 1"

Reviewed on 9.30.2013 (Review #1,329)

This next review iz also for Eunice’s I-10 Wes Wes Nile Virus Vol. 1. Let’s see this expected-to-be-nice follow-up! Start Time: 10:08 PM | End Time: 10:57 PM

Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes 100,000x (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it! After I was robbed by an artist who claimed they “get money,” hearin’ about how much you “got money” and anything “money” really bothers me. If you have not done business wit me before, I won’t tolerate “money” talk in tha music!!

© 2013 CD Review (Review #1,329) reviewed on 9.30.2013 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Gud Musik”
>>> Tha beat sounds okay, here, for a southern beat… Hearin’ you rap on tha 1st verse, and it’s a lotta rappin’, at a fast pace… Though I’m not really into tha super-fast rappin’ much, anymore, I think this good… Tha hook ain’t too bad, here; flows wit tha verse, only slower… Tha 2nd verse goes wit tha 1st verse, wit all dat fastness… My Rating: 4.0

02. “Can’t Hold Me Down” Feat. Lady Kym
LOL! Now, toward tha beginning of tha CD! My Current Rating: 4.2

03. “Ain’t Playing Wit ‘Em”
>>> Sounds like a good beat fa you ta rap on, 337 style, once again! Tha hook’s just tha title, plus an “I,” and it sounds good. Though on tha previous CD, it was only six months from this one (this one was released on 12.21.2012), you sound a lil’ grown wit your voice, here. I’m feelin’ tha 1st verse, as you’re comin’ through wit some good shit fa your hood. Also, tha 2nd verse sounds good, too, strictly holdin’ tha beatz down… My Rating: 4.0

04. “Out Chea Getting Money”
Readyless & Slickless, still? My Current Rating: 4.3

05. “Hustle, Grind” Feat. Lil’ Derrick
>>> Almost thought this sounded familiar, but it’s nice… Feelin’ how you comin’ through on tha hook wit tha repeatin’ title. Nice beat, too; you rappin’ on some adventurous shit, it sounds like, lol. Here you are on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit your “D-O-G” status; feelin’ it! Gotta luv tha undaground… We got Derrick on tha 2nd verse, here, comin’ through wit some gangsta shit; nice lil’ verse, here… Here you are on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit continuous rhymes, once again. Damn, 17 seconds of silence at tha end? My Rating: 4.3

06. “Got What I Got” Feat. Slick, Durt & DJ Titanik
>>> Didn’t realize it was this song, lol. I don’t recognize tha “Durt” feature, but you know DJ Titanik reppin’ hard on this track! Nice, original beat, as well as tha super, hyped-up feelin’! Good shit on tha 1st verse, here; consistency at its finest! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice wit you on it; what else do I have ta say? We got Durt on tha 3rd verse, here, comin’ through wit consistent rhymes; gotta feel ‘em! My Rating: 4.7

07. “Feeling Gud”
>>> Tha vibe sounds like a pop-rap song, here… Ehh, not bad. Sounds like a tribute to Pimp C, at times, here… Good job wit you supplyin’ a good vibe fa tha 1st verse. Now, here’s tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit a busy schedule, accordin’ ta this “agenda.” Hearin’ tha 3rd verse now, and it’s still on an okay tip. Why iz this joint so long? I like when you spittin’ dem jointz out fast. My Rating: 3.3

08. “Road 2 Success” Feat. Lil’ Derrick
Missin’ a “c” in “success”. >>> An online beat… Ehh, anotha okay joint; can’t complain, here. At least this one’s quick… I like Lil’ Derrick on this one betta, but it’s still an okay joint. My Rating: 3.2

½time: A 4.0-rated CD, currently. So far, this an aight CD. Tha beginning’s pretty good, but I want more 337-like vibes…

09. “Trust” Feat. Lil’ Derrick
>>> Tha vibe’s more upbeat, here… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse, and it’s aight. Tha hook’s just a dude vocalizing; interestin’ vibe, but nothin’ that captures my attention like tha DJ Titanik-produced jointz… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse, and it sounds better for me, here. Oh, Derrick’s on tha 3rd verse, here? Okay; I’m likin’ how tha beat sounds like a G-Funk beat, at times. My Rating: 3.6

10. “Freaking You” Feat. Slick & MVP
>>> A random “Bad-Ass Yella Boy” shit in tha beginning; iz that a beat tag? I’m not a fan of beat tags, especially if they’re sentences and shit… I like tha beat and tha vibe, but iz this anotha song wit that “Freaking You” sample? I think we got enough of those… Slick sounds good on tha 1st verse, comin’ through, settin’ tha vibe… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse (MVP?) and it’s an okay verse… Then again, this joint’s too long for me to sit here… Hearin’ tha 3rd verse from you, and it’s soundin’ cheesy, wit tha “kiss tha phone” shit and shit… My Rating: 2.5

11. “She Want A Big Dawg” Feat. Mandi Savage
LOL @ all tha ID changing! My Current Rating: 4.7

12. “Going Crazy” Feat. Lil’ Derrick
>>> Nitti? Damn, jacked? I don’t recognize it… I like your style wit tha clothes, here. This sounds good; nice job, Wes, on tha 1st verse… Here’s Derrick on tha 2nd verse, soundin’ like Cory Gunz, a lil’. Nice job wit tha verses… My Rating: 3.5

13. “‘Bout My Money” Feat. Big Boom
>>> An okay hook, here, as well as anotha dry-soundin’ beat… Hearin’ tha 1st verse, and I’m feelin’ these rhymes! Oh, that’s Big Boom; nice shit! Now, switchin’ ta you? Kinda confused on who’s who, but great collab on tha 1st verse! Now, I hear some “muthafuckin’ man” shit, and I’m likin’ that; good job from Big Boom, randomly! I think I’m up to tha 2nd verse, here, and it’s soundin’ nice wit tha fastness! Also, you comin’ in, and you comin’ through wit a lot of a lot, too, lol… My Rating: 4.3

14. “We Out Chea” Feat. Wochee
>>> Anotha okay beat… Hearin’ tha 1st verse, and this ain’t too bad… Okay, tha hook’s on a “money” tip. Ehh, whatever, I guess it’s okay. Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad, either. And, tha 3rd verse makes you known that you “out chea.” My Rating: 3.6

15. “Out My Top” Feat. Lil’ Derrick
>>> Sounds like anotha underground, internet-like song, here, wit tha beat you chose… Tha 1st verse ain’t too bad, here. These verses are startin’ ta get boring. Nothing’s really standin’ out, now… Tha 2nd verse from Derrick sounds boring wit this cocky attitude and shit. Ehh, whateva; turned out to be almost below-average for me, here. My Rating: 3.0

16. “Y They Mad” Feat. Slick
>>> Titanik beat? Let’s hear it fa tha final song, here… Oh, I’m likin’ tha title in tha hook; interestin’ shit, here, wit a hyped-up vibe!! See, now this tha shit I’m diggin’!! Tha 1st verse sounds nice, here; catchy shit! Here you go on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit your “in-tha-zone”-type shit! My Rating: 4.6

Overall: This was a good/okay CD, but tha other one was better. I gon review tha CD I made for you. I know that gon top ‘em all!

Review #700: Wochee "Twitter After Dark Vol. 1 (Hosted by DJ Sexy Lex)"

Reviewed on 12.19.2010 (Review #700)

My 700th review!!! That’s HUGE!! I prolly gon hit 800 REAL soon, too, lol! Tha 700th review goes to Wochee “Twitter After Dark Vol. 1 (Hosted by DJ Sexy Lex)”; let’s see how it goes! Start Time: 9:36 AM | End Time: 10:23 AM

Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Intro” Feat. DJ Sexy Lex
Time ta celebrate #700!! >>> I’m not too crazy about networking names as CD titles but who knows what this’ll sound like… Kinda gay; should I even be bothered wit this? I didn’t get tha chance to skip dis but I’ll give it a bad result. My Rating: 1.0

02. “Eat It While U Drive” Feat. A-One, Doe-Doe & DJ B-Real
Interestin’ collaboration; betta not be gay! >>> Oh wait, heard this before. DJ B-Real not credited for tha hook on tha back cover… Tha beat has a HOT start! LOL @ tha hook start; luvin’ this explicitness for a “pussy” song! LOL, Doe-Doe wit his character on tha 1st verse, followin’ where tha hook left off! Nice job wit holdin’ tha whole verse! Here you come on tha 2nd verse instead of A-One, wit an okay verse. I rather hear what Wissel had ta offer; he has better shit ta offer. I guess you inserted your verse to make Wissel officially have tha now-3rd verse! LOL, gotta luv how Wissel comes through on tha 2nd verse! :rofl Just dat name/how it sounds (“Wissel”), there’s character hidden in it and he’s doin’ his thang wit tha verse, too! Even “dreads” action, too, lol! Gotta luv all this!! GR8 beat ending, too! My Rating: 4.3 (slight deduction ‘cause just tha original version was better, sorry)

03. “He Gon Kno”
>>> Should’ve had anotha song like “Eat It While U Drive”; dat had much betta soundin’ than what this sounds like… Beat iz weak and I may not like tha Pop perspective. However, tha content in some of tha lyrics sound good. Tha hook sounds gay; bad once again. When I hear shit like this, it’s only like to sound cool or somethin’, smh. What a HORRIBLE ending! :td My Rating: 1.4

04. “Late Night Creep” Feat. Lady Kym
I assume I neva heard some of these songs. >>> I guess this whole CD won’t be for me. I rather hear X-rated sex wit gutta-ass beats than these poor-produced, Pop-soundin’ beats. This iz better than tha last song, at least. Lady Kym sounds a lil’ betta than before. Good thing most of these songs are short… My Rating: 3.1

05. “Can’t Believe It” Feat. Jazflow & Raskal
Spelled “believe” as “beleive” on tha back cover, smh. >>> SMH. Not even bein’ bothered wit this jacked beat and song!! My Rating: 1.0

06. Phone Sex Skit
>>> Could’ve turned up tha volume a lil’ ‘cause it’s kinda low. I guess tha next song’ll determine if this iz good or not… My Rating: N/A

07. “Get It On”
Betta not fuck up tha oldie! >>> ROFL, you “luv how [she masterbates],” ROFL! :rofl See, now I like tha X-rated shit goin’ on here! I dunno how good this iz for Marvin and them but it sounds pretty good on this beat. My Rating: 3.8

08. “Kissin’ You” Feat. Jru Starz
I don’t think I’ll like dis. >>> Not like “Get It On” and sounds kinda Poppy again. I don’t feel like sittin’ here fa anotha two minutes; ugh!! Where’s tha TLC rhythms or somethin’ like Sade? Fuck this Auto-Tune-type shit! :td My Rating: 1.8

½time: Damn, only a 2.3-rated CD? Why?

09. “I Just Wanna Taste U”
Looks like a good title… >>> Hope you don’t fuck up tha “I Need Love” beat. Tha way you rap tha hook sounds like someone else? Feelin’ tha content once again; you got a plus here. ROFL @ “make her cum a lot—a lot like buku;” funny-ass shit!!! :rofl My Rating: 4.2

10. “Zoom Zoom”
Looks like Wreckx-N-Effect; let’s see what’s up. >>> For a long length, I hope I can handle it; at least it’s M.I.A.’s “Paper Planes” beat. Just sounds plain… I’m slowly hearin’ tha X-rated shit so hopefully, we can keep dis shit up. You combined tha Wreckx-N-Effect hook wit tha rhythm of “Paper Planes” on tha hook. Too bad tha hook was tha outro part of tha beat and not tha actual chorus… Damn, I’m not dealin’ wit a 2:31 outro! I’m starvin’ and I’m puttin’ up wit dis, smh. My Rating: 3.5

11. “Get’n Me” Feat. Damar Jackson
When I see features on this CD, I kinda get afraid. >>> Wow, had to have Drake’s vocals in tha beginning; how gay, even wit tha beat, too! How pathetic: sounds like a 0% original hook and flow, smh. Sounds distracting; can’t get into this. That hook’s, just, so gay wit what’s goin’ on!! Tha only thing fine iz tha ending of tha hook wit tha “rubber” part. My Rating: 1.5

12. “Guh U Kno U Fine (Cheemix)”
>>> Sounds gay; beat’s boring, too. It’s not that bad when it gets to tha hook but damn, could’ve done somethin’ wit dis beat? SMH, did you say (in tha beginning of tha 2nd verse), “watch her do tha Franky,” smh? Ugh… My Rating: 2.7

13. “Fuck Buddy”
I know where this jacked beat’s goin’. I bet I gon skip dis, knowin’ tha original hook! >>> Even gayer: “Dougie”, smh. I hope I get ta skip ‘cause I don’t wanna sit here for over four minutes! Tha hook sounds really gay ‘til you say, “fuck buddy;” that just makes it not gay but ½ gay wit how it sounds on tha vocals. I don’t get why people use this gay-ass beat, still; why?!? Ooh, some Sade on Music Choice: Throwback Jamz right now; think I finna hear some real music for tha ladies! My Rating: 1.3

14. “Gimme Dat Nutt” Feat. Jazflow
First off, there’s no extra “I” in “gimme”. Second, you want a “nutt”; WTF?!? >>> Sounds like a song I heard once before. Yup, one of your older songs when it was spelled correctly! Sounds like a good beat; DEFINITELY like tha Southern vibe on it. Wait a second… iz this tha dude dat produced “My Dougie”? If so, good collaboration although that beat iz so dead now! What a “nutty” hook, lol. Sounds like you DEFINITELY inta havin’ a female wit you at ALL times here. You didn’t say, “say,” in tha hook when tha title came so it might be really stereotyped as gay. Tha 1st verse sounds good fa what it iz on this beat; tha flow iz catchy! Damn, how long did it take fa tha whole verse ta finish? What was dat, like, 32 bars or somethin’, lol? Lots of “humpin’” on tha 2nd verse here like bunnies, lol! This iz funny here and there wit tha “humpin’” and tha “nuttin’,” lol!! LOL also @ tha “kickstand dick;” LMAO!! Even tha endin’ iz in luv wit “nuttin’,” lol. No more feedback on this; I think this was good enough, lol. My Rating: 4.3

15. “Do It Wit Da Lights On” Feat. Ceddy B
Damn, I thought that was my boy Ceddybu on tha feature; oh well… >>> Beginning sounds hella gay but tha beat ain’t too bad. Not too bad on tha verse but tha hook sounds gay wit those horrible vocals! Tha 2nd verse sounds a lil’ catchy but nothin’ special. My Rating: 1.2

16. “Pop Dat Pussy” Feat. Lil’ Click & Jarvis Jacob
ROFL, missin’ from tha back cover? I wonder why… >>> Tha first few seconds of whateva beat that was sounded pretty good ‘til it turned into this Pop/Wayne shit. Hate that this iz over four minutes long! My Rating: 1.6

17. Outro (DJ Sexy Lex)
>>> Too bad I was disappointed. My Rating: N/A

Overall: Could’ve been much betta. There are GR8 Baton Rouge producers instead of all this Pop shit on tha beats!
