Ya boy FrankieThaLuckyDog iz back in Northeast PA… It sux, but TODAY, it DOES NOT, lol! That’s ‘cause I got sum REAL EXCLUSIVE music ta review right now!!! Thanx ta constant networkin’ fa makin’ it happen, I got an EXCLUSIVE copy of tha EXCLUSIVE Black Noise Music mixtape “G-Lane Vol. 1”! This mixtape already pushin’ HARD in BR, as copies have been sold pretty good since it has been released. Now, here I am, MORE THAN EVA ANTICIPATED for it!!!!!!!!!! Originally, it did not have a front cover. Soon, I’ll be tha creator of tha front & back cover, so you’ll see sum magic appear (when I re-edit tha post in tha future)!!! I’m not even gonna say anymore about this mixtape, and just get into it! Here goes my review fa Black Noise Music Presents “G-Lane Vol. 1 (Hosted by DJ Chilly Chill)”!!! Holy shit, tha MOST ANTICIPATED project of 2009 iz here!!!!! I heard err-body from G-Lane iz on dis, so I gon keep track and see if anybody’s missin’, ya dig! I’m also guessin’ that I prolly know 2/16 of tha jointz on here! And it’s ALSO only right that we start tha review on my birthday time, 6:21!! This BOUND ta be BEST compilation CD of tha year!!!!! Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0. Each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself with my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. Needy Nee & The Flippa Boyz “Show Yo’ Ass Off”

Great way ta start it off, no less 6:09 on tha length!!! That’s a REAL NICE length (prolly a NICE DJ Chilly Chill intro fa this)!! Shout out ta Chilly Chill fa hittin’ me up yesterday WITOUT me even hittin’ him up; that’s a MAJOR PLUS!!! Let’s start this HOT-ASS mixtape off REAL GOOD!!! >>> Sounds like it gon be a somewhat long intro, but it not ‘cause not even 20 seconds in, it went into tha beginning of tha hook, and then tha hook. Tha beat iz DEFINITELY nice; Sims produced (doesn’t say, but it sounds like it)? :tu I bet this gon be long ‘cause of all tha Flippa Boyz prolly on this. Tha 1^st verse here soundin’ nice; true shit right here! :tu Good DJ Chill effect at 1:22 where it sounds like it REALLY in tha mix here! Yea, “ack a ass wit it;” tight shit! Here comes Needy on tha 2^nd verse, always doin’ her thang. She ‘pose ta be hittin’ me up one of these dayz; glad she discovered me also! Someone else also hopped on here on tha 2^nd verse too; soundin’ good on this shit too! :tu Really likin’ that voice, and how that part was delivered; tight shit! My BIG DAWG here on tha 3^rd verse, ya dig!!! Dat my boy Yung Yola on tha 3^rd verse right here, ALWAYS doin’ tha damn thang in Baton Rouge!! Who ain’t got luv 4 Yola?!? He did his thang, and now, JUST AS GOOD, my boy Sims on tha 2^nd ½ of tha 3^rd verse here; JACKPOT HIT RIGHT HERE!!! It’s 100% Flippa Boyz material here, and Sims came through “showin’ his ass off” on this shit! :tu Great job from tha both of y’all on dat 3^rd verse right there!!! It don’t end as there’s a lil’ bridge here afta tha 4^th hook! :tu Sounds like tha song iz mixin’ into anotha one? Nice mixin’, and I’m feelin’ that “I—I ain’t out my body” shit in tha background, ya dig!! Chilly Chill on tha outro of this song, givin’ a shout out ta Hannibal, Yola, and a lotta otha people, ya dig!! REAL GLAD he shouted out Hannibal & Yola ‘cause they 2 of my FAVORITE peeps outta G-Lane; got BUKU luv fa dem, ya dig!! He also said tha next song gon be a Young True remix? I’m DEFINITELY lookin’ forward ta dat!! He gave a shout out ta dat boy Disco too, as well as Hannibal again!! :tu My Rating: 4.5

02. Obeeze Feat. S.O.S. & Young True “Go Hard N Da Paint”

1^st set of newbies here… Neva heard any of dem but Young True (who has me in their top friends), so this gon be REAL good!! Lemme hear a HUGE diagnosis of G-Lane on this shit!!!!! >>> That hook sounds a lil’ familiar, but I don’t think I eva heard tha song. Either way, turned up my stereo, and I’m DEFINITELY feelin’ tha hook, as it’s that “I-I-ain’t out my body” shit from tha mixin’ at tha end of tha last song!! Here’s tha 1^st verse: Obeeze!! Soundin’ great on this shit (almost thought he was Young True fa a second wit tha voice)!! :tu I like tha “platinum in my mouth” part, as well as tha “Gardere Lane” part; who ain’t like when tha hood iz shouted out?!? GL3!!! GREAT job on dat 1^st verse, as this shit just goin’ TOO HARD!!! :tu Let’s see tha 2^nd verse… Yea, tha 2^nd verse has “Rouge,” “jiggin’ so hard,” and “fulla dat shit” lyrics, so this a MEGA PLUS!!! And tha “pass me some water, so I can roll harder” part too; TOO GREAT, I CAN’T EXPLAIN!!!!! S.O.S. doin’ tha DAMN THANG, ESPECIALLY that mixin’ right before “2:25” (perfect timin’, lol)! I didn’t know who dat was, but it Obeeze again on tha 2^nd verse, doin’ tha damn thang!! Here’s tha 3^rd verse, and it’s a newbie: S.O.S.! That voice iz cool, so tha flowin’ and rappin’ on this shit iz NICE (as always)!! Can NEVA deny tha newbies, ESPECIALLY from dat 225/Gardere Lane!!! A lotta “go hard” shit in tha hook; thumbs up on this shit!! :tu Such an anthem right here that’s DEEP in BR!!! :tu My Rating: 4.8

03. Hannibal “Act Right”

LOL, he all alone? Nah, I’m just playin’! Sometimes, just havin’ tha song ta yaself can be a REAL GOOD thing, ya dig!! ESPECIALLY since tha 1^st time I’m hearin’ JUST Hannibal on tha track, ya dig!! How “right” will he “act” on this track, lol?!? Unbelievable anticipation here fa only 2:44 on tha length!!! >>> Sounds like a REAL TIGHT beat wit dat organ and those effects goin’ on in da beat; CRAZY SHIT!!! :tu So tha “act right” ain’t just 2 words; it a gift fa tha gurlz, ya dig! Catchy shit on tha hook, and here you are on tha 1^st verse here, doin’ tha damn thang wit tha rappin’, as well as tha pretty good flow. Sounded like only 8 bars on that verse, but still a nice job ‘cause it’s Hannibal!! I like tha “Baton Rouge… wit tha finest” part in tha 2^nd verse; doin’ tha damn thang here, bringin’ dem lyrics dat lure tha women in at its finest!! DEFINITELY feelin’ how tha title iz used, and not somethin’ like “you betta ‘act right’” type shit, lol. My Rating: 4.4

04. Classik “Cadillac & Benz”

I believe he on tha new Chilly Chill single “Roll All Weekend” (I think that what it called). On that Chilly Chill song, ERR-BODY sounded REAL GOOD, and it should be an easy playlist song wit me!! For now, let’s see how da boy does by himself… WIT 4:35 ON THA LENGTH!!! :tu >>> STILL soundin’ REAL NICE!!! Talk about tha REAL GREAT original production on these tracks!!! Sounds like a Mike Jones sample here; great job wit tha way tha sample was used! Here’s tha 1^st verse, and he sounds very little like Bun B at times. Anotha big dawg right here; hope we get ta do business real soon! I gotta find all these peeps on MySpace!! Great rappin’, great hunger fa this G-Lane shit, as well as tha GREAT quality of anticipation/expectation when listenin’ ta this!! :tu Tha 2^nd verse here, and “Jigga City on his back,” so you KNOW I’m SO FUCKIN’ BLESSED ta fuck wit SOOOOOOOOOOOO many 225 peeps, ya dig!! Tha beat has a somewhat Runners feel ta it, and tha flow iz just REAL NICE on this shit!!! Keep this shit goin’!!! Here we are on tha 3^rd verse, doin’ tha damn thang wit tha hustlin’ & gettin’ money when it comes to all tha jobs he has! Chilly Chill on tha outro, checkin’ in! Yea, he showin’ luv ta Classik, and tryna push him onto tha scene, ya dig! :tu Yea, “Gardere Lane, it’s a fuckin’ movement,” ya dig!! :tu I gotta call him as soon as this review iz ova wit, ESPECIALLY since I checked his brand new joint recently! *Dies* WAIT ‘TIL THIS SONG HITS MY PLAYLIST!!!!! OMG, it has ALMOST leaked 2x already wit me, as it’s gettin’ plays wit me WITHOUT EVEN bein’ added to my playlist; that’s REAL BIG, ya dig!! Now that his & Blu Black’s “On My Shit” song retired on my Top 10 Countdown recently, surpassin’ 100 dayz (as it had 113), BREAKIN’ A RECORD fa bein’ #1 a WHOPPIN’ 61 times, shit, this song gon do REAL BIG, ESPECIALLY if he gets out soon!! I was waitin’ ‘til I heard from him ta add this song so it can debut REAL, REAL high, but, since college startin’ in 6 dayz, it gon be an add next week prolly. This song NEEDS more exposure in Baton Rouge; why don’t I see people buzzin’ about it?!? It sounds like a HUGE, HUGE anthem fa Jigga City; more people need ta hear it, so when this review hits tha net and people would be able ta find this CD online, this’ll be GETTIN’ THA RIGHT EXPOSURE!!!!! Originally, I rated it a NICE 4.6 (on 1^st listen) on Yung Yola & D.$.G.’s “99 Wayz 2 Grind” CD, but because like Mariah Carey, I got REAL “obsessed” wit this song, it’s FAR HIGHER, ESPECIALLY hittin’ tha **PERFECT RATING**!!! NO MATTER WHAT SONG HITS THIS CD, THIS SONG IZ #1!!!!!!!!!! I just reviewed this song as A WHOLE PAGE LONG, lol!!! Now you KNOW it REAL, REAL HOT!!!!! My Current Rating: 5.0

06. Hannibal Feat. Sam I Am “Gone Jigg”

I thought tha song was longer than 3:24… Anyway, it failed ta be added back in February of this year on my playlist, but, it ain’t like I heard it yet!! Undaground songs like this have infinity life wit me ‘til they get added on my playlist (e.g., a song can be months old, but once someone asks me ta promote it on my playlist and shit, it starts its 1^st day, as it’s born wit me. “Out Da Box” did it as an automatic add in December 2008 fa me, so you neva know)! I’ve been REALLY lookin’ forward ta hearin’ this, and just wonderin’, how did this BIG collaboration happen?!? >>> Soundin’ like a BETTA start than tha otha Hannibal song, although that one was NICE too!! Tha background wit that beat sounds like tha typical Sam I Am type shit, so you KNOW this gon be BIG!!! Luv tha “gone” spelling in tha title too!! Yea, this beat iz SOOOOO on point here; MUCH BETTA than I expected!!! Sam on tha 1^st verse here, and he doin’ tha DAMN THANG!!! That’s tha CRAZIEST VOICE I EVA HEARD!!!!! There hasn’t been ONE LACKED SAM I AM VERSE!!! He just keepin’ this verse REAL, REAL consistent!!! You know how many songs off this CD gon be playlist songs?!? Think of HOW MANY AWARDS all these songs gon win!!! I prolly gon spend like $200-$300 mailin’ awards ta people this year, ya dig! LOL, I’m ALL ‘bout my bidness, ya dig!! Hannibal doin’ a REAL NICE job on this shit; luv tha mixin’ of tha repeatin’ word at 2:16-2:17!! :tu REAL NICE rappin’; doin’ tha DAMN FUCKIN’ THANG on this beat!!! Come ta think of it, good thing it failed ta be added February ‘cause I had asked for it dayz before Nu$$ie died. All songs I added around Nu$$ie died flopped REAL bad, even songs I really liked on 1^st listens, so now iz its time!!! I hear what Hannibal said clearly at tha end: “mix tha pillz wit tha Hen;” jiggalatin’ shit to tha fullest!!! I can describe this as it bein’ like my version of a new Rihanna song hittin’ Top 40 stations; that’s how CRAZY I am about it!!! My Rating: 4.9

Looks like my brother’s favorite in tha 2^nd part of tha title, lol! I don’t know tha whole pill names, so I didn’t know what tha fuck tha 1^st word was. But, my boyz are on this (Blu Black especially)!!! Toke, I’m glad he made it on here too!!! Can y’all jiggalate more than my brotha (that’s 32 in one day; 100 in 3 dayz)? Beat tha record, lol! REALLY lookin’ forward ta this!! >>> ??? @ tha unknown start! :rofl Blu’s “slow motion” part sounds like this gon be like you like Blu Black, “on dem pillz!” Glad Chilly Chill on tha intro too, givin’ a nice shout out ta Blu! :tu For tha hook, what else can I say? TRULY PILLED UP TO THA FULLEST!!! Tha beat iz NICE and laid back wit this, as well as that GREAT organ in tha beat too!! LOL @ tha title, how it just seemed random, but this shit gon be not just “super aiight,” but “supa TIGHT,” ya dig!! :tu >>> Didn’t sound like tha beat changed at 1^st, but here it iz, and it’s soundin’ pretty good. Blu doin’ his thang on tha hook; I like it! :tu Here he iz on tha 1^st verse, deliverin’ dat gangsta shit to tha fullest! Don’t fuck wit Blu Black tha wrong way!!! Yea, “it 80’s baby like Ready said;” glad he gave a shout out ta Young Ready’s 2006 song right there!! Great job on dat 1^st verse, and now, Sims on tha 2^nd verse!! I fuckin’ luv ERR-THANG he does wit dis Rap shit!!!!! Who can’t approve dat voice?!? Sims TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUCKKKKKKKKKKKIN’ TIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!!!! ½time: I knew this was gon be REAL, REAL TIGHT!!! Average CD rating iz currently a HUGE, WHOPPIN’ 4.7, wit 1 **PERFECT RATING** song (as well as “Gone Jigg” bein’ a NICE 4.9)!!! :tu If tha CD can keep dat average CD rating, it will be Blu Black’s “Code Blu” of 4.6; will it happen?? DEFINITELY feelin’ all tha different G-Lane rappers, ESPECIALLY tha ones I neva heard b4!!! REAL TIGHT jointz, ALL ORIGINAL PRODUCTION!!! I must say that it’s quite sad that Dance/Techno music ain’t this consistent wit quality anymore when it comes ta compilation CDs. Really, back in tha day (just 3+ years ago), there were those REAL GREAT fast bangaz of 134+ BPM. Now, err-body all slow wit tha 128/130 BPM type shit. I just looked at tha new Promo Only Dance Radio compilation for next month, and only 2/21 songs 134+ BPM (although about 5-6 otha artists are real great). :td That’s like, if I popped in this CD, and only 2/16 songs were G-Lane; that’s how it feels. That’s ANOTHA reason why I’m REAL FUCKIN’ GLAD G-Lane music WON’T die, as well as all tha shit that comes from Baton Rouge!!! It’s like I’m hearin’ 134+ BPM Dance/Techno music NON-STOP; that’s how FUCKIN’ GREAT these songs are!! Keep this HOT SHIT comin’, and you KNOW people’ll want this CD REAL, REAL bad!!!!!!!!!!

09. Blu Black Feat. Hannibal & Dae~Dae “I Don’t Give A Fuck”

Betta yet, make dat 3 Blu Black songs back ta back, ya dig!!! This song REALLY defined tha Summer fa me, ya dig! It pushed so hard on my iPod (thanx to my Top 10 countdowns bein’ on my iPod durin’ vacation time instead of my computer) that it made *CERTIFIED CLASSIC* status of 100+ plays wit me, so you KNOW Blu, Han & Dae gon get awards fa that at tha end of tha year, ya dig!! It’s dat nice, laid back, simple beat sound, ya dig! Tha magic numba fa BPMs in Baton Rouge iz 80; err-time I hear a Baton Rouge song of 80 BPM, it sounds REAL, REAL tight fa some reason, lol. This tha 1^st time I heard Hannibal & Dae~Dae, and they did they thang on this shit, ya dig! Just nothin’ but rhymes that “don’t give a fuck” when it comes ta anybody!! As long as you fuck wit dis G-Lane shit, you on!! Gotta like Blu Black’s sample in tha beginning wit tha “try ta tell these niggaz they don’t want it wit me. You fulla dem drugs, but you don’t want it wit me;” true shit!! :tu Hannibal comin’ through hard on this shit, ya dig!! Hannibal has his dudes prepared at ALL TIMES when it comes ta fight tha bullshit, ya know!! I like his “sticky green all day” part; gotta luv that kush!! :tu I like Blu Black’s “yeaaa” shit in tha background of tha hook too! And speakin’ of Blu, he on tha 2^nd verse here, “all black like witches” (lol); great part right there!! :tu This song was SO GOOD that I had ta make a commercial for it, ya dig! Not many SONGS get commercials from me, so you KNOW this iz tha joint right here!! Gotta luv his “my nina, that’s my friend ta be. Move it to tha tempathy [sp?], pussy niggaz sum shrimp ta me” part!! :tu Here’s dat boy Dae~Dae on tha 3^rd verse, anotha dude that discovered me earlier in tha year! You KNOW I show G-Lane buku luv, so you KNOW I get dat luv all day!! Dae did his thang, deliverin’ that street shit when it comes to tha streetz in BR! Big dawg status right here from 3 big dawgs!!! Oh yea, can’t forget that I FUCKIN’ LUV how Hannibal does tha 2^nd ½ of tha hook wit tha “catch me posted in tha hood…wit me and my people” (luv how he said “people” on this shit)!! :tu A classic song right here! This marks 2 songs on this CD that I know. I thought “Hood Song (Dat Lane)” from Blu Black & tha crew was gon be on here (‘cause of tha title bein’ a G-Lane thang); that was my original 2^nd song I would’ve known ta be on here, but “Keep Chewin’” made dat appearance. Who knows; we’ll see what happens throughout tha rest of this CD! My Current Rating: 4.7

10. Classik “Grown Man Step”

Ugh, don’t like tha title at all… I didn’t see who doin’ tha song; betta not be Hannibal… *Checks* Well, it’s Classik. His song on here was REAL nice, but not sure if I’ll buy tha anticipation fa this one… Scared ta peep! >>> Yea, pretty bad start in tha beat here. Even worse to know that it Sims on tha track! Bad mixin’ in tha beginning wit tha “DJ Chilly Chill. DJ—DJ Chilly Chill” shit repeatin’ like crazy in tha beginning! Decent rappin’ goin’ on here in tha 1^st verse; this song too mellow for mixin’, Chilly Chill! “Chill” wit tha mixin’, lol! What’s wit tha Ron Isley & R&Bish shit for tha hook? Yea, gay hook on this; not buyin’ this at all! :td Didn’t expect a plane crash in tha middle of tha CD. :( Any R.I.P. lyrics, lol? Tha 2^nd verse here not really doin’ much here. A plus at 2:23 wit tha “polo” part; one plus, lol! “Grown man step?” More like “I just entered school, and I’m years away from puberty step,” LMAO!! Tha 3^rd verse added sum “pass me sum water” shit, but still, not much here. Although pretty bad for me, if this comes up when I play this CD, I won’t skip it. It ain’t depressin’ or nothin’. My Rating: 2.3

11. Hannibal Feat. Young Ready, Nu$$ie & Gangsta “Dat Potion”

Much betta lineup/title!!!!! Neva heard it before, but this should be REAL NICE!!! Shit, if I would’ve had this before Nu$$ie died, I could’ve done some promotion and put it in tha R.I.P. Nu$$ie video, ya dig!! >>> Yea, this a Young Ready type beat here!! GREAT hook, as well as tha KILLA beat right here (sounds like Savage)!!! :tu How did this mega collab work out??? Overall: I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S OVA!!!!!!!!!! :cry: This CD was PERFECT minus #10!!!!! Tha CD would’ve been an automatic 5* rated CD if it wasn’t for dat song, but it all good! It ain’t somethin’ I gon skip when playin’ tha CD on shuffle though, so it ain’t that bad. Either way, LUVED THIS WHOLE FUCKIN’ CD!!!!! People I didn’t hear on tha CD was Lil’ Mike, Butla, Big #’s, Ace, and if Disco wasn’t a part of tha 1^st song, then I didn’t hear him. Either way, that ain’t that many people (although all them REAL, REAL TIGHT) that are missin’. This was a REAL, REAL GREAT compilation CD dat got 11.5 pages of a review from me, so you KNOW it REALLY on point!! Black Noise Music takin’ dis shit REAL FAR!!!
