It’s FrankieThaLuckyDog again. ‘Bout ta do a review for my boy Sire, who fucks wit One-i, ya dig! His mixtape, “Back 2 Da Business (Hosted by One-i),” I finna review right now. I was ‘pose ta have it in tha mail but I don’t know where his mind’s at right now ‘cause it’s been ova two months and he had a trusting voice, lol. Anyway, here goes my review for it. Start Time: 6:04 PM | End Time: 7:21 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

Lettin’ ya boy One-i do tha talkin’ for tha beginning, huh? That’s watz good… I know he’ll put you in tha right direction! >>> LOL @ One-i’s laugh! Likin’ tha intro ta where it’ll give me anticipation!! My Rating: N/A


02. “Back 2 Da Business Freestyle”
It’s a freestyle? What beat will it be? >>> I don’t know this beat but it makes me feel anticpiated ta hear you on this shit, ya dig! “You get fold like a folder;” good shit! DEFINITELY feelin’ tha content on this shit too! My Rating: 4.4


03. “99 Problems” Feat. Big Koont
That title iz too stereotypical for me… I hope it ain’t tha Jay-Z beat… >>> Good thing it ain’t; original beat (heard tha tag in tha beginning)! Nice intro from One-i and you doin’ ya thang on tha hook here. It should’ve been a different numba but as long as it wasn’t tha exact quote, then it’s fine. Nice job wit tha 1st verse here… You got some good shit you spittin’. And although it’s #3 on tha CD, already, there’s a newbie on tha feature! This Big Koont dude sounds cool on this shit; I’m likin’ his verse right here on tha 2nd verse! He got a good voice fa this Rap shit! For tha 3rd verse, you’re spittin’ good street shit right here! Thumbs up ta this joint as it feels like it neva ends! Likin’ tha beat outro a lot too! My Rating: 4.5


04. “Come Up” Feat. Hype
Yes! Anotha feature right chea! Lookin’ forward ta hearin’ this one too! >>> Likin’ tha sound to tha start! Sounds like an engine iz startin’ or somethin’, lol. Tha hook just came outta nowhere and it sounds good; tha title sounds cool dat it comes outta nowhere too. Really feelin’ tha street vibe to tha 1st verse; you doin’ tha damn thang here! You always have me anticipated wit these new jointz! I’m hearin’ tha 2nd verse now and tha Hype dude iz on tha 2nd verse, really comin’ through wit some tight shit!! GR8 street shit and speakin’ of “shit,” I like how he said, “Shit,” at 2:20! He ‘bout his “business” just like this mixtape! My Rating: 4.4


05. “‘Round And ‘Round” Feat. Tweeday
What could this be? Again, you got anotha feautre so I’m lookin’ forward!! >>> Ooh, a New Orleans vibe in tha beginning! Tha hook iz cool; y’all doin’ it nice fa err-body here!! Tha 1st verse sounds cool; good shit! Nothin’ but energetic shit here and that’s always a plus! Dat newbie, Tweeday, iz on tha 2nd verse and again, you have anotha featured artist focused and doin’ tha damn thang on tha track to tha fullest!! Gotta luv tha title part! All tha shit goin’ on in tha 3rd verse also iz catchy fa this song; good shit! I dunno about One-i’s ending though wit tha “anti-social” and tha “throwin’ bills…” My Rating: 4.4


06. “Loot And Dollaz” Feat. Hype & Lil’ Tu
Looks like this gon be a GR8 sequel!! >>> LOL @ tha quick start here wit tha screwed sample. Almost sounds like “Dallas” in tha hook, lol. You sound like you always focused on tha 1st verse; good job wit your focus! Tha 2nd verse sounds cool; almost makes tha title turn into “Smoking & Lighters,” lol. Tha 3rd verse voice gets me anticipated fa tha rest of this verse… Pretty good shit here; definitely feelin’ it! My Rating: 4.3


07. “Now That It’s Over” Feat. S.J. Lacey
Anotha feature? Shit yea!! Let’s see what we got here!! >>> Intro beat wasn’t that anticipating fa me; I have a feelin’ tha featured person iz gonna be a singer. However, I seem like I have more interest now dat I’m hearin’ you wit tha real lyrics in tha 1st verse. Tha hook sounds fucked up…; no comment. Tha 2nd verse at least has more good shit from you. I’m hearin’ tha S.J. dude on tha 2nd hook talkin’, complimentin’ you. I’m lookin’ forward ta him as he sounds cool…! Hearin’ him now on tha 3rd verse and he DEFINITELY has a gr8 voice fa Rap music!! Thumbs-tha fuck-up! His, “They used ta tease me… / But, I made it…,” line was DEFINITELY true right there!! I’m a multi-tasked hit (as I say in my latest song); NOBODY can compare or equal tha success I bring!! My Rating: 3.7


08. “Take It Outside” Feat. Hype & Dink
Luvin’ this title fa some reason… I KNOW it gon cause a NICE mark on this mixtape review!!! >>> I think tha beat intro might equal my anticipation here!! GR8 vibe here and tha hook DEFINITELY on sum gangsta shit; good job anticipatin’ me!! I like how tha 1st verse comes through on this shit; nothin’ but hotness wit tha gutta shit! Tha hook almost sounds a lil’ off beat but you know it’s still good! Tha 2nd verse DEFINITELY raw wit tha lyrics!! Keep this HOT shit comin’ along; you KNOW I luv how y’all come through on songs!! Tha 3rd verse sounds aight fa a start but it added some jiggalatin’-type lyrics so you KNOW I definitely feel it! I think someone else hopped onto tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse? Now that’s tha decent part but still contributes good. My Rating: 4.6


09. “Paper Chasin’” Feat. Lil’ Cali
Ooh, look at dis collab; thumbs up ta Da Gremlins! Let’s see how GR8 this iz!! >>> One-i on tha intro… After 34 seconds, you came through finally, Sire! Nice job, One-i, for tha intro but where’s tha anticipation in tha beat? Sounds kinda plain… This sounds more like a freestyle than a song so it’s aight…; good rhymes from you though, Sire. Even One-i mentioned “Da Gremlins;” good shit. And here iz Cali on tha 2nd verse… He sounds betta wit more catchy rhymes and a good/different voice fa this. LOL @ One-i on tha outro this time; he came through exposin’!! My Rating: 3.6


10. “Hand Ova Fist” Feat. Clent
Keepin’ tha collaborations comin’ along!! Lookin’ forward still!!! >>> Cool beat this time and tha hook sounds cool too! I hear tha title in its entirety and I like tha “ova” theme! Nice job on tha hook and tha 1st verse sounds pretty good from you. You know you doin’ tha damn thang here! DEFINITELY felt your rhymes this time! Anotha cool start to a new feature here on tha 2nd verse (Clent)! Keep bringin’ tha newbies to tha table, ya dig! Anotha good voice…; tha lyrics are aight here (nothin’ really ta quote) but it flows good. Nice job wit tha beat outro (and tha long fade-out) but I prolly could’ve seen One-i do tha outro on here… My Rating: 4.3


½time: Comin’ through wit consistent heat, Sire!! Nice job wit this mixtape so far and I know you on tha grind right now wit prolly anotha one!! Tha average CD rating iz currently a 4.2 so you KNOW there’s NOTHIN’ but QUALITY comin’ from this mixtape!!


11. One-i Speaks (Intermission)
He’s 40 seconds too late (as he missed tha outro to tha last song)… >>> Tell me anotha laugh from him… I prolly could’ve seen a laugh (prolly tha listener) after tha “7th inning stretch” or somethin’, lol. My Rating: N/A


12. “Fine Azz” Feat. G-Ryde
Shit yea, a gremlin!! Although he ain’t wit Da Gremlins anymore, I know he gon be an a$$et to tha fullest (wit dolla signs in tha word “asset”)!! >>> And One-i’s here on tha intro… Tha beat DEFINITELY sounds HOT here!! REAL NICE job on tha production!! Reminds me of tha Savage/Young Ready/Dirty Harry “Pussazz” song wit all tha “___ azz” parts after every line on tha hook! This iz on anotha level and sounds hot still! Nice job wit tha 1st verse, Sire; doin’ tha damn thang here!! Here’s my boy G-Ryde on tha 2nd verse, “azztized” wit this club, lol! Nice job wit this collaboration right here, no matter how quick it went by! My Rating: 4.5


13. “Make It Work For You Freestyle”
What beat was this? Thought I saw this title one day… >>> Didn’t catch onto what tha beat was right away so I’ll have ta think… Looks like a Juelz Santana title… You sound good on this beat though for freestyle; thumbs up ta your street shit! Thumbs up to tha “Red Monkeys saggin’” and tha “dragon” part! You did a nice job on this lil’ beat here! Glad you attributed to tha outro too! My Rating: 4.2


14. “My Team” Feat. Lil’ Tu
Lil’ Tu’s back up in this bitch! Let’s see what y’all got now!! >>> Anything could happen wit tha beat start but wit Lil’ Tu on it, I think I gon anticipate it, especially since you got tha intro on lock! As soon as tha 1st verse started, there was no transition wit tha beat and tha way it sounds… Thumbs up ta you bein’ “higher than Rudolph,” lol! Where’s tha transition wit tha beat? Your 1st verse was nice, as you came through tough on tha track. However, tha beat ain’t changin’… It makes me think of this bein’ a freestyle but its length iz regular… I don’t rememba hearin’ Lil’ Tu on tha previous song he was on on here but this time, he DEFINITELY sounds SO FUCKIN’ anticipatin’!!! Luvin’ how he’s comin’ through wit this raw-ass-gangsta-ass shit!! REAL NICE collaboration here!! I also liked tha gunshot ending! My Rating: 4.4


15. “Blowin’ Killah” Feat. Hype & Dink
This should be REAL, REAL TIGHT!!! Anotha collaboration!!! >>> LOL @ One-i again on tha intro. Tha “sunglasses on” part sounded catchy. This beat may be not an anticipatin’ beat but wit tha title/topic, it sounds gr8 wit what y’all spittin’! Tha hook pretty cool wit how it sounds… I like how tha 1st verse iz delivered; “YH style!!” Nice job feelin’ cool, Sire! Tha dude on tha hook iz on tha 2nd verse here, very “ma’fucka’d” out wit err-thang, lol! Sounded a lil’ long wit tha 2nd verse but you know if it’s a collaboration, it fits! Tha 3rd verse iz here and it also sounds like it fits wit this song. Not much on tha “tight” feel but still a good vibe. Very focused wit tha “money makin’” in tha 3rd verse here I hear. Oh no, a minute beat outro? Why so long? Y’all should’ve cut it… Shit no, it was 26 seconds of silence dat fucked up tha length… My Rating: 3.9

You KNOW I luv this title ‘cause of tha David Banner/Static song from ’04! This should be on dat hot shit!! >>> Tha beat intro gives me a TIGHT Southern vibe!! Tha hook sounds good; gotta luv tha “crank it up, crank it up” parts! “Crankin’ up” tha vibe on tha 1st verse here; you know how you do, Sire! Nothin’ but feel-good-type shit here; “dancin’ on your sun-roof!” How can you not like this song? You’re on tha 2nd verse also, keepin’ tha transportation movin’ all tha time! Here comes dat boy Dink on tha 3rd verse, always “ready fa dat action!” Good job spittin’ and contributin’ to this song; nothin’ but consistentness here!! My Rating: 4.5


18. “Livin’ My Life” Feat. Young Don
This one’s a lil’ shorter… What’ll it be like wit this featured person on it? >>> Okay start but luckily, it gets spooky in tha beat so I’m gonna enjoy this!! You have a pretty good hook here; gotta luv tha spooky-type beat wit tha shit you spittin’! Tha 1st verse has some good shit in it; nothin’ but hotness!! I hear tha featured dude comin’ through talkin’ in tha 2nd hook; let’s see what he ‘bout… More motivational-type lyrics! Boy, he’ll “snap like a gator!” Shit to tha yea! I also liked tha double “shit” part (as one ended a sentence and started a sentence), lol! Nice job wit this collaboration! Young Don, what up?!? My Rating: 4.1

Yes, ANOTHA feature!!! GR8 title too wit this shit!! >>> Oh, I know this beat (ain’t it tha “Louie Bag” beat). I had thought there was a similar beat that sounded like this that was an original beat but either way, it sounds like “Louie Bag” (wit added sounds) ta me. I thought at first tha hook sounded like tha last song’s title but it’s new; good shit! I like tha title here and you doin’ a nice job wit tha 1st verse here! You DEFINITELY “focused” to tha fullest! Damn, ALREADY up to tha featured artist!!! Let’s see what he’s got… Shit-fuckin’-yea; ANOTHA tight rapper on tha comeup!!! I show BUKU LUV ta all these rappers so you KNOW I luv hearin’ ‘em!! He’s got a good voice fa this shit and tha rhymes are cool too! He prolly be in these streetz heavy, promotin’ tha shit outta himself and all y’all at YH & MVP Ent.! My Rating: 4.4

This might be tha final song but if it iz, at least Lil’ Tu’s featured on it ta end it off!! I gotta add him and tha rest of all these guys on my MySpace!!! >>> Almost sounds like P!nk “Most Girls” wit tha beat sounds in tha beginning and then, it got to a hot point; good job wit tha production again!! Cool dark beat and you doin’ tha damn thang wit tha hook here; DEFINITELY “does what it does!” You DEFINITELY “standin’ like a tree” when it comes ta this shit! You official wit it so you KNOW you deserve tha proper respect!! Let’s see what tha big dawg has ta offer on tha 2nd verse… Cool-ass voice here and tha rhymes pretty good fa a start! He spittin’ some real street shit here fa y’all fakerz!! My Rating: 4.3
