Reviewed on 4.24.2010 (Review #418)
Damn, this my 3rd review already and it’s only 11:00 AM… FrankieThaLuckyDog’s REALLY on tha grind right nah, lol, ya dig!! This next CD I finna review looks like a promo. It has track names on tha CD itself (burned CD) but when I put it in, it came up as different titles on iTunes? It looks like tha Youngbloodz / Big Boi “85” song wit different mix names and shit. Lemme quote my Math teacher real quick: “What iz dis ding?” This iz what it looks like:
Good thing he wrote tha tracklisting on tha CD itself! Anyway, I gon review it, regardless. I hope it doesn’t create massive confusion… Doin’ this for my boy Big Scoob, who sent me this in tha mail! He sent me three otha CDs (one iz a single too), which I threw two of them in my Louisiana Reviewz Marathon fulla 700+ Louisiana CDs! I’m gonna call this review tha “2010 Promo” ‘cause he said it’s new music dat hasn’t been pressed up yet… Now then, here goes my review! Thanx SOOOOOOOOO much fa sendin’ me some shit, “big” dawg!!! Start Time: 11:06 AM | End Time: 11:34 AM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Get Live (Radio)”
If tha radio version iz first, I’ll review tha street version, which iz next. See #2 fa tha review!
02. “Get Live (Street)”
Doin’ this by yourself, huh? Then again, I gotta hear it ta fully analyze it, ya dig!! >>> “Young Hits made tha track!!” Shit yea!! This should be REAL GOOD; I’m surprised he didn’t send me this one yet, lol. I’m feelin’ tha beat intro here wit you talkin’ ova it; you’re makin’ it anticipatin’!! You sound a lil’ like Daz from tha West Coast here, ya dig. You got dat gr8 flow/voice fa this undaground Rap shit, Scoob! Glad you got two awards last year for your collaboration on Savage & Max Minelli’s “Get Loose Wit It” for 100+ plays on my playlist and 16+ weeks on my playlist! You did ya thang on tha 1st verse and tha hook sounds like Max Minelli a lil’ bit? You didn’t list who it was but it’s aight. I hear more in tha hook wit tha GR8 Baton Rouge vibe here in tha 2nd ½ of tha hook wit tha repeatin’!! Likin’ dat this hook iz long and shit! You doin’ ya thang on tha 2nd verse wit this tight production and err-thang, holdin’ it down ta tha fullest! Glad you did tha damn thang on this joint right here, my boy!! Keep up tha music; you KNOW you got a name fa yourself! My Rating: 4.4
03. “All Dey Do Is Jigg (Radio)” (Da Jiggalators)
Only a radio version here so I gon hear it… It looks like an oldie from one of tha DeTrane mixtapes or somethin’… I luv titles like dis so you KNOW I’ll enjoy this whether I remember it or not!! >>> A Shonta feel in tha beat and yea, this definitely sounds old; I can feel tha vibe here! Cool intro and yea, Scoob, you doin’ tha damn thang on tha hook here!! Nice job doin’ a nice job here, ya dig! Tha hook sounds gr8 (of course) and I didn’t realize this was a Jiggalators song ‘cause I hear T-Lo on tha 2nd verse; he sounds gr8 on this shit. DEFINITELY a cool vibe here and now, Lil’ Boonie’s on tha 3rd verse, soundin’ good on this shit, ya dig! Iz he outta jail yet? I haven’t heard anything since like Mid ’09? Ooh, Sam I Am on tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse, doin’ a nice job jiggin’!!! JIGGIN’!!! BTW, I found tha old review I did for this on 3 Way Street Radio Presents “Jigg City Allstars Vol. 1”: Now that’s a title I love! Time to obsess tha jigg movement right now wit this joint!! >>> Only 2:10 on tha length? Noo…! Nice fast beat intro to this! Lovin’ tha fast style and tha rappin’ on this! Great shit for tha clubs right here!! That was a nice 1st verse! There’s a 2nd verse so let’s see here… Pretty good I guess. Nice joint right here. <- To add: They spelled your name as “Da Jiggulators;” lol. Who “jiggulates,” lol? It’s “jigga,” lol. But yea, at first, I rated it 4.3 so you KNOW I was on point back in ’08! My Current Rating: 4.6
½time: Average CD rating currently iz a 4.5; good shit! It’s just a lil’ promo but you KNOW you got thangz on lock, Big Scoob!!
04. “Real Hustler” Feat. Max Minelli & C-Loc
I know this iz new for me… I don’t know this one but you got yourself a GR8 collaboration here!!! >>> “Southern Smoke” intro? Was this taken from a mixtape or somethin’? I have 700 CDs on my desktop here (which a few of ‘em have Max Minelli in it). Sounds GR8 wit Max in tha beginning and his verse iz tight here wit this GR8 beat!! Good shit right chea; DEFINITELY likin’ this and tha hook DEFINTIELY tight!! Of course, tha streetz must luv this; gotta luv dat good-ass music!! Here’s tha 2nd verse, Scoobful! I told my grandma dat I got your package tha otha day and she cracked a smile on tha phone when I told her it was from you! We all got buku luv fa you, Big Scoob!! Matta fact, lemme put a $ sign in your name fa a second: “Big $coob;” big dawg status!! Glad you cool wit me and have a GR8 reputation in BR!! Speakin’ of big dawgs, C-Loc’s on tha 3rd verse and he has “400 degreez”-type rappin’ here!! Yea, “no commercial; rock dat raw!!” You KNOW dat’s tha truth, Loc!! “Grade A hustler!” My Rating: 4.7
05. “Out My Body” Feat. Down Bad
I wouldn’t’ve recognized this but when I was either checkin’ my 1 GB jumpdrive or somethin’ (for somethin’), I saw your name on there and I was like, “Big Scoob!!” I get buku jointz so I didn’t even get ta hear it (shame on me). But, now’s tha time and some life gon be in this song now!! REALLY lookin’ forward ta hearin’ it!!! Thanx to KJ Armour fa puttin’ it on my jumpdrive back before Nu$$ie died! >>> Hot intro from Cage in tha beginning and Terror here and there! DEFINITELY hotness here, ya dig!! I hear you in tha beginning a lil’ bit too, Scoob. However, Terror’s on tha 1st verse, REALLY “out his body!” You rappin’ wit a bunch of people dat got awards from me, ya dig! LOL, forget dat I said, “1st verse;” that was still tha hook. Now, I hear you on tha 1st verse, Scoob. DEFINITELY soundin’ good; luvin’ tha “out my body” style!! Shout out ta whoeva dat “D” dude iz on tha track; gotta luv err-body in BR/225!! I like how you said, “shiiit,” around tha 1:30ish mark; good job wit this shit, Scoob! We got tha 2nd verse now from JR, really doin’ a nice job wit tha flow here! Nice job wit how he delivers this shit! Cage snuck in on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse and he goin’ duffy wit his shit!! Terror sounds like he lost his “out-yo-bodyginity” ‘cause he said, “I ain’t neva had this experience befo’;” good shit! Speakin’ of how good dat was, he’s on tha 3rd verse here, doin’ tha damn thang!! His voice too good; luv it! He’s such a dark character and speakin’ of characters, Supa’s on tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse!! Y’all Down Bad dudes ALWAYS put tha “fun” in Jigga City to tha fullest!! Glad Big Scoob and y’all have gr8 statuses!! Nice fade-out ending by tha way too! My Rating: 4.5
06. “Poppin’ Dem Pills” Feat. Level
Level really did a feature wit you? I thought he can’t talk fa longer than under a minute? I’m really shocked… *Silence* How’d you do it? >>> Regardless of his shyness and lack of socializin’, he’s doin’ a nice job on tha hook here! Tha beat DEFINITELY good too; luvin’ tha production!! Huh? He’s even on tha 1st verse too? How does he know how to take tha time out? I’m really shocked… Tha weird thing about it iz he’s good at what he does… Glad you contribute to tha hook too, Scoob! Speakin’ of you, Scoob, you’re on tha 2nd verse right chea and this just sounds REAL GR8!! I feel like, “lol,” when people rhyme tha word “level” wit “Level” himself… Nice job wit tha 2nd verse, Scoob; REALLY doin’ tha damn thang!! Oh, uh, uh, oh, Level on tha 3rd verse too… Somebody stick an Autistic gurl in his face so he can see what Autism iz! Nice verse once again; good shit! Too bad I need a lil’ talk wit him before I can play this song anywhere. Sorry, I don’t do anything wrong! My Rating: 4.9
Overall: Tha last review I did was 29 minutes; this one was 28, lol! Plus, it’s weird dat I did three reviewz already today within tha AM (morning) hours!! Tight-ass shit, Scoob!! DEFINITELY lookin’ forward ta a new CD and shit!! I REALLY gon look forward ta hearin’ those two CDs you sent me when it comes ta my marathon!! You da man wit this shit and keep it pumpin’, jiggin’, etc.!! I got BUKU LUV fa tha whole “jiggin’” movement and I’m VERY anti to those dat randomly hate it/negatively stereotype it!!
Rankings (according to my ratings):
05. “Get Live (Radio / Street)” 4.4
04. “Out My Body” Feat. Down Bad 4.5
03. “All Dey Do Is Jigg (Radio)” (Da Jiggalators) 4.6
02. “Real Hustler” Feat. Max Minelli & C-Loc 4.7
01. “Poppin’ Dem Pills” Feat. Level 4.9
Average CD Rating Review:
Total Score: 23.1
Total Songs: / 05
-----------------------------
Average CD Rating: 4.6 (automatically a 5 star rated CD)
As a bonus, lemme check out dat “Lights, Camera, Action” single you also sent me from 2008 too… There’s a bonus track on it too so usually, I would do a lil’ separate review but I’ll just stick ta attachin’ it here. Lookin’ forward ta this one wit Max Minelli on it, ya dig!! >>> Ooh, DEFINITELY a HOT, creepin’ up beat in tha beginning!!! It sounds almost like a Beat Flippa sound in tha beginning but ___ on tha beat. Glad this has tha instrumental and err-thang on it, ya dig! Glad your “’bauds saggin’ low” and you “on dem pillz;” only like a big dawg and dat’s what you are!! Good job wit tha 1st verse to tha fullest; DEFINITELY LUV what you do to tha fullest, ya dig!!! I only reviewed a few songs so far (from tha otha CD and this one) and I’m on my 5th page of this review, lol! We got Max on tha 2nd verse and he sounds REAL good wit his flow/style here!! Yup, Max, “January – December!” Nice job and I’m glad you grabbed Max fa this, ya dig!! Keepin’ this shit goin’ wit tha 3rd verse wit you on it; feelin’ like a big dawg right here, Scoob!! My Rating: 4.6
And now, after tha radio, instrumental and acapella versions, tha next song iz “The Creation” Feat. Dolby D. I guess Dolby D was tha one on dat beat before when I said I didn’t know who it was; thumbs up! This should be GR8 too!!! >>> Only 1:29 on tha length? How much can you fit? This sounds like it gon be REAL, REAL anticipatin’!!! Tha beat start just sounds REAL, REAL GR8!!! I hear T-Lo in tha beginning… Oh, it’s just a mixin’ and I hear some ol’ Sam I Am before tha “Still Jiggalatin’”! Now, I hear tha “All Dey Do Is Jigg” shit! Now, I hear some “gorilla” shit! DEFINITELY cool wit all tha “jigg, jigg” shit in tha background wit tha horn and shit! I thought there would be more mixin’ but that was cool! Not really a song so I wouldn’t rate it but yea, NICE job summin’ up all tha jiggin’ shit! My Rating: N/A
