Only 8:00ish in tha mornin’ and I’m back, ya dig!! I have my final radio show of tha semester (won’t be back on ‘til September) so I wanna get a bunch of new music on tha air (although it’ll be playin’ on shuffle so tha songs’ll have a chance to be played tonight)! I gotta radio edit somewhere durin’ this day too ‘cause people have e-mailed me shit too. Anyway, regardless of ANYTHING happenin’ wit this review: it’s REAL SPECIAL ‘cause it’s #416, my gurl Alexia’s b-day!!! And this oh-so-special review just happens to be Young LaBron outta Big Faces Entertainment (yes, a newbie)!! His latest mixtape, “Tha Rap Fanatic Mixtape Vol. 1 (Hosted by Young LaBron),” iz about to be reviewed (and I gon hear him for tha 1st time); let’s ch-check it out!! Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

Aight, here we go…!! DEFINITELY lookin’ forward ta this!! Of course, thanx for tha promotion, Kandace!! >>> Comin’ through strong for a start on tha “Chuck Up The Deuce” beat! Some gutta lyrics here, ya dig! I didn’t expect this ta be a song/freestyle wit tha short length. REAL NICE job for a start and tha length was PERFECT for a jacked beat!!! My Rating: 4.6


02. Young LaBron Speaks (Skit 1)
Boy, I’m lookin’ forward ta hearin’ this shit!!! >>> Glad it’s “for tha streetz!” I’m feelin’ how you’re comin’ through wit your style and how you sound on this shit, “ya heard me!” Thumbs up fa only bein’ 17! You’ll then really enjoy me since I’m older than you! My Rating: N/A


03. “Livin’ To Die”
What could this be? Let’s see tha 2nd song from you… >>> A lil’ sour for a start but if it’s original, I’ll take it! You must’ve turned 17 ‘cause you said “16” in this. This could be on a borin’/depressin’ tip if I was hearin’ it from someone else but you get tha plus here ‘cause there’s some positive pluses in tha beat as well as tha attention you bring. Me, DEFINITELY NOT “gettin’ closer ta death!” Real good on tha lyrics on this one. I like how you rhymed “bruh” a few times here; that gets a plus! Shit yea, I keep hearin’ it; attention-gain up!! I like tha “some people fall off like tha dice trippin’” part in tha hook; interestin’ shit here! My Rating: 4.4


04. “I Think Dey Like Me”
Umm…, what should I say? Maybe nothin’ yet! >>> I don’t think this’ll be that good fa me. If it wasn’t for your good rhymes, this would’ve had no feedback from me. If you’re tryin’ to spit fiya, don’t put tha gay-ass A-Tune on; leave dat for pointless songs wit pointless sex beats/topics or some shit… My Rating: 3.5


05. “Case Closed”
What’s next? I like this title! >>> This beat has that feel that kinda goes wit tha last song… However, this might be a plus ‘cause I don’t know tha beat and it has dat quiet feel like tha “Livin’ To Die” a lil’ bit. Not much goin’ on wit it but you got some interestin’ shit you spittin’ here. Feelin’ tha rhymes; tha “dragon” part was nice. Everyone luvs tha word “bruh” but don’t use it so often in their music. I hear you say it a bunch of times in your song so MEGA thumbs up!! And speakin’ of thumbs, well, you said, “Stupid in tha head, y’all niggaz Autistic.” I like dat you mentioned tha Autism… I have it, ya dig! I have tha Aspergers syndrome so I’m DEFINITELY not “stupid” unless you wanna use it as Baton Rouge slang. If so, then yea! Since you mentioned it, just curious, how many Autistic people do you know? Well, at least you know about it unlike 95% of tha rappers I talk to that neva heard of it? 1 in 150 people are diagnosed wit it and it’s worldwide… Hence, it’s Autism Month I believe this month! Nice job wit tha rappin’ once again, ya dig! Dat line left me so distracted (not in a bad way) I have ta track down what I’m gonna rate this… My Rating: 4.3


06. “Stop Callin’ Me”
You only 17 and you makin’ a statement like dat? Lemme really see, Mr. Autistic-knowledge person! >>> “Wastin’ all minutes?” You can’t wait ‘til 9 PM? Don’t know what beat this iz so I guess it fits in your hands. Interestin’, as you’re extremely on tha topic wit every lyric here. Tha hook sounds good wit tha repetitiveness. As for tha 2nd verse, you’re very anti wit tha calls. I ALWAYS answer my calls fa anyone dat calls, ESPECIALLY from Louisiana, ya dig!! Oh, and answer my call when tha time comes dat we become cool, ya dig. My Rating: 4.2


07. “Watch My Shoes”
>>> Anotha quickie wit tha length. Dat’s cool dat you got a gurl at only 17. I know a lotta people down there have kids quickly, which sounds live-advancing. Nice job wit all tha rhymes on this beat. From sex rhymes to street rhymes to kush rhymes, you got it all in this!! My Rating: 4.3

09. “24’s”
… >>> Speakin’ of “on dat good shit,” sounds like you’re gettin’ ready fa it in tha beginning here. I like how you comin’ through on tha tracks here; tight rhymes!! Definitely feelin’ it, ya dig! You held it down tha whole way ‘round wit your tightness!! My Rating: 4.4


½time: Likin’ this shit right here! More original beats would give tha songs a betta chance to get on my radio show! Currently, you doin’ pretty good wit an average CD rating of 4.2 right now!


10. “Incredible”
Let’s start tha 2nd ½ off right now… >>> This sounds a lil’ original on tha beat but you betta come through correct if it’s on a faster note. Cool rhymes here and tha beat iz on some cool shit; definitely likin’ this! If it’s real good, I’ll throw this on tha radio show; likin’ tha sounds on tha hook!! Glad you keepin’ tha rhymes up too on this! You sound like you got cool shit goin’ on here too wit tha “polo shirt” and shit like dat, my boy. My Rating: 4.5


11. “Izzo”
No, no, no… >>> Kinda distracted by this beat but you still got tha hot rhymes. “Got game like Nintendo;” shit yea! “Birthday money, I get dat new cake;” good shit. A lotta rhymes dedicated to “someone’s gurl,” lol; I can tell you’re freestylin’. Even though this iz real good, you prolly could’ve had this at like two minutes (‘cause of tha beat) ‘cause tha other HOT freestyles on here weren’t even two minutes long. Glad you got an outro on this though so that’s a plus (even though it was like under 10 seconds). My Rating: 4.4


12. “Ballin’”
Oh my, a length of 4:41; what you got here? >>> I didn’t know what ta expect at first wit tha beat but it sounds like a lil’ kid anthem wit tha beat sound in tha beginning… Not bad though for a start; you “ballin’” in tha hook so dat’s a plus. Soundin’ good on tha 1st verse wit tha shit you rappin’, “ballin’” style. Anotha line I can refer to: “He just a waterboy;” that’s me on tha football team. Lots of facts here about basketball on tha 2nd verse; that’s prolly where you got yo name from, right, lol? Good shit goin’ on here, ya dig. Soundin’ good on tha 3rd verse wit all tha “extreme ballin’” lyrics wit tha “waterboy break” or whateva it was. Hope you holla at me ‘cause sometimes, when I used ta do tha water, people wouldn’t take tha water from me but from other water-people; how fuckin’ gay? It’s all in tha invisibility for some reason of my Autism; I don’t get it…? And one of tha dudes dat refused water from me was guilty ‘cause he lost his friendship wit me. You KNOW he was pussy ta talk ta my ass!! My Rating: 4.4


13. “Scoped You Out”
Tha lengths are regular length now so you know you got a lot ta talk about! Let’s see this song… >>> I heard a beat tag in tha beginning so it must be original… Kinda decent for a start but you know I got buku luv fa you, dawg, so hearin’ you on tha track iz a plus! Tha 1st verse good; not much ta say though but keep up these rhymes! Good job wit tha 2nd verse too; keep tha good rhymes comin’, ya dig! Oh, only two verses? My Rating: 4.2


14. “You Know What”
What? >>> LOL, I don’t know about this Bow Wowish beat (or whateva it iz)… It’s gr8 once you get on once again! “Put her ta sleep—coma;” good line! Speakin’ of tha beat, tha hook gave it away that it’s tha Avant/Lil’ Wayne one from ‘05ish. Tha 2nd verse’s pretty good too; you got a plus here too. My Rating: 4.0


15. “Relax”
I don’t want to… >>> This one sounds jacked too… Don’t know if that’s true or not but I’m just sayin’ it sounds like it. Hope you have a good backup here… Now dat I hear tha hook (gave it away), it sounds jacked. Not that I remember it or anything but I know for a fact. Not bad for tha 1st verse; you doin’ a good job still. I liked tha last song betta so far so we’ll see what else iz wit this song… You sound like you livin’ good on tha 2nd verse. It took tha ending ta reveal tha beat tag? LOL… So now it’s an original beat but has a sample in tha hook. My Rating: 3.8


16. “Medicine”
Looks like tha songs are feminine or somethin’ now… >>> I like how you sound in tha intro! Glad ta hear you talkin’ on tha track, ya dig! Tha hook interestin’; good shit! Tha beat nice wit a good feelin’; I feel this gon be tha best outta tha last three songs that were on here about tha ladies. You holdin’ tha whole track down so you get a plus here! This sounds like it’ll be a good song on my radio show; gonna radio edit it later today! Tha 2nd verse sounds good too; you’re SO effective in other peoples’ bodies, lol! My Rating: 4.3


17. “Wanksta”
Uh oh… >>> Comin’ through like a “gangsta” here, lol! Uh oh, you “got dat Miley Cyrus” since you “keep dat white gurl!!” I like tha hook as you applied your “ya heard me” in it; good shit! Cool rhymes in tha 2nd verse and when you said, “boy,” in tha 2nd verse, I picture you how they used ta look in tha Early 2000’s in tha videos wit tha hangin’ durags, lookin’ tall and shit, ya dig. My Rating: 4.3


18. “Neva Been”
Looks like a familiar title for some reason… >>> Sounds interestin’ for a beat start here… Soundin’ like good rhymes and you on yo grind. I hear tha hook and there’s some good, real shit in it. Glad you keepin’ it trill on all these tracks! Interestin’-ass 2nd verse here wit all tha hood shit goin’ on; you got a GR8 voice (not just your voice but how you deliver this shit and what you rap about)! Tha 3rd verse starts off interestin’ wit snitchin’; nice job wit tha “Jack & Jill” shit! It was a short-ass 3rd verse but it served its purpose! Luv tha outro wit tha talkin’ and I’m startin’ ta luv you and what you do!! My Rating: 4.4


19. Young LaBron Speaks (Outro)
Shit yea!! Leavin’ a GR8 taste in my mouth for tha ending!! >>> REAL GLAD fa tha outro, “ya heard me!” You sound gr8 on tha outro and wit tha next mixtape, I look forward ta it bein’ mostly original (just like Lil’ Boxx came wit his 2nd mixtape)! And, “I luv you too,” when it comes ta this Rap shit, ya dig! Keep up tha gr8 work; you REALLY did ya thang on this mixtape off of err-body’s beats!! My Rating: N/A


Overall: GR8 job, my boy!! Gettin’ you on tha radio ASAP!! Keep up tha gr8 work and do tha damn thang fa’eva!! I’m four years above you (maybe five ‘cause I’m gonna be 22 soon); are you a 1993 baby? Damn, that sounds young just thinkin’ ‘bout it… My cousins gon be 17 in only a few years… Anyway, you did ya thang on tha mixtape beats and had some gr8 original tracks!! I look forward ta hearin’ more later on!!
