Keepin’ this shit goin’, here goes tha 4th review I’m doin’ today: My big dawg Quikkdraw wit his CD, “Put A Beat On…;” FUCKIN’ LUV dat title!! It’s like he’s SO focused!!! Really, just “put a beat on!!” Thanx, Lah, for mailin’ me a hard copy!!! Start Time: 7:45 PM | End Time: 9:10 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

How will my boy Quikkdraw start thangz off? >>> ROFL, LUV how Quikkdraw comes through in tha hood; you DEFINITELY sound like you fulla dat shit!!! I also like how you said, “shiiiiiiid;” nice and laid back!! Also, you ended tha intro wit, “aye, put a beat on…;” lol, fuckin’ luvin’ it!!! My Rating: N/A


02. “Swagga So Sikk”
Ohhhhhhhhh, Quikkdraw!! Now that there’s a “beat on,” I can JUST imagine what’s gonna pop off!!! >>> ROFL, tha start started wit a tag wit tha E.D. beat production! Luvin’ tha beat start and you sound GR8 for a start here, wit your “weed” and err-thang fa tha start!! I KNOW I gon luv this shit to tha fullest, ya dig!! You DEFINITELY comin’ through wit tha street shit here; you CAN’T be fucked wit!! I hear tha hook and it’s a “Hata Hurta” sample. It didn’t sound like you at first ‘til I heard tha whole thang… Oh, it switched up in a cool way in tha 2nd ½ of tha hook! You keepin’ this shit comin’ along wit tha HOT-ASS trap shit in tha 2nd verse; trap + gangsta shit = HOTNESS!!! I luv how your name (and what you look like) iz such a character; *imitates my voice for you* “Quikkdraw!!” Gutta-ass shit in tha 3rd verse; you REALLY doin’ it up right chea!! You even had a “put a beat on” part in tha 3rd verse too; GR8 intro track!!! LUVIN’ this production!!! My Rating: 4.6


03. “I Been Doin’ Dis”
What’ll “dis” sound like, lol? I KNOW you REALLY been on your shit!!! >>> Luv tha “put a beat on” theme; it’s SO good ta where I almost said, “put a theme on!” Ooh, a Vybe beat here; Quikkdraw gon EXPLODE like a bomb!!! Nice job wit rappin’ ova this beat and doin’ ya thang here! Nice job wit tha 1st verse and keepin’ it trill 24/7! Ooh, tha hook came (I thought it was earlier) and it sounds REAL catchy when you say tha title; you a beast!! LOL @ how you said, “nigga,” on tha 2nd verse; “my niga.” You ALWAYS have an ear for catchiness!! As for tha 3rd verse right here, you still have your consistent flow/rhymes! Good job right here, my boy! My Rating: 4.5


04. Hustla (Interlude)
Oh, shit, an interlude!!! I DEFINITELY look forward ta you havin’ interludes, ya dig!!! Too bad it’s only 26 seconds… >>> *Knewwww!!* My aunt Judy’s ringtone!! I like how everytime you have a lil’ talk break, it’s about some of dat good!! My Rating: N/A


05. “Hustla”
Let’s hear this anticipatin’ song!!! >>> ROFL @ tha “you can put dat beat back on;” sounds like J Buc on tha beat this time!! Iz it him? I can pick his sound effects out, ya dig! Yup, I heard his beat tag and it’s DEFINITELY anotha hot one!! Sounds like you’re a lil’ fucked up in tha hook, lol? It sounds GR8 though ‘cause it’s a J Buc beat, ya dig! DEFINITELY on tha street tip/shit here in tha 1st verse; you KNOW I’m feelin’ it… EVERY bit of it!!! Zombiefied start to tha 2nd verse, lol; you REALLY be on your street shit all day!! You tellin’ tha truth here, keepin’ it real all tha time in tha song! Tha 3rd verse also keeps you in a motivational mood; DEFINITELY feelin’ it!! This shit would sound GR8 on my radio show!! Glad I got more songs from you!!! My Rating: 4.7


06. “Money On Da Road”
Oh, Quikkdraw, what would we do without you? >>> Sounds like E.D.’s focused on tha beat here! You DEFINITELY keepin’ it TOO real here; “100% real shit” like you just said!! This beat has a lil’ bit of a Kevin Gates vibe to it (like Guss on tha beat)! You just SO FOCUSED here; that’s why you told E.D. to “put a beat on!” Tha hook sounds pretty good here!! You’re really advanced in life here wit “fuckin’ all tha hoes” and shit; thumbs up ta you! A no bullshitted-Quikkdraw iz on tha 2nd verse here, just doin’ tha damn thang wit your life!! I picture you in your car right now on tha 3rd verse, just cruisin’ along… Thumbs up ta this whole song!! My Rating: 4.5


07. “Neva Buy In, Neva Sell Out”
Ooh, I smell a GR8 drug-related song here!!! Let’s see what we got here!! >>> Vybe beat here and I thought it sounded like Gucci Mane in tha beginning? It was you, really focused wit your “put a beat on” theme dat I’m luvin’! This sounds pretty good for a start and it’s pretty good on tha drug-related tip mixed wit a few otha shit you rappin’ ‘bout here! I’m hearin’ tha beginnin’ of tha hook and your flow sounds catchy here! I hear tha title and it’s true/good; glad you expressin’ it, or should I say, “expre$$in’,” wit dolla sign$! Buku shit goin’ on wit tha 2nd verse; you DEFINITELY have a LOT ta spit/talk about!! Shit, no 3rd verse? Let’s see what you got fa tha talkin’ at tha end wit this 51 seconds left… Sounds like you know 1,000,000 people or somethin’; how do you make people take you serious outside of a conversation? I been tryin’ to battle dat all my life and hope Louisiana keeps buildin’ it up!! Tha only thing iz I don’t see y’all on a daily basis but soon, hopefully! My Rating: 4.4


08. “Hata Hurta”
So O.B. did this track, I see. I thought I knew who he was from somewhere (EDIT: Lil’ Boxx’s song “Can’t Stop Moving”)… Just LUV this song!!!!! I LUV how it says, “you’se a hata hurta,” in tha hook!!!!! Iz dat your voice screwed? It’s REAL catchy when you brawlin’ wit it, sayin’, “you’se a hata hurta,” also wit it!! Cool beat here and when you say, “call me Quikkdraw,” at 1:08? That’s prolly how I say your name like “Quikkdraw” ‘cause of how you said it. I first played this on my radio show tha day before tha Superbowl and considered it as a part of tha “Superbowl theme!” REAL, REAL GR8 song; just luvin’ it and I’m GLAD I finally got ta review it!! You crushin’ all tha hataz in tha 1st verse and DEFINITELY not “color struck” in tha 2nd verse! I agree about tha start of tha 3rd verse: “You should be arrested for dat aggravated stuntin’…!” Most definitely!! Glad I’m holdin’ you down and you cool wit Lah!! I would’ve neva had your CD if it wasn’t fa him (real copy in my hands dat iz)!! My Current Rating: 4.9


09. Store Run
LUVIN’ your titles; OMG!!! This prolly gon go through tha roof again!!! >>> LMAO, it’s a skit!!! “Shit yea,” you caught me off guard!!! How ‘bout those people in tha background; do they know about me yet? They sound cool; you know I fuck wit err-body! I can feel what you sayin’ here; feels like I’m with you!! You and your “BUDDHA!!!” My Rating: N/A


10. “Extravagant” Feat. J Buc & DJ B-Real
Shit yea!!! GR8 ta have this right afta tha skit!! REAL HOT beat from J Buc; he reminds me of tha next BluBlack on tha beats!! Tha hook DEFINITELY tight!! Tha 1st ½ of it sounds hella tight and you KNOW tha 2nd ½ iz official wit tha title repeatin’!!! Even comin’ down ta tha rappin’: Tha 1st verse iz you doin’ tha damn thang here!! It ain’t NOTHIN’ like Jigga City!!! Tha 2nd verse DEFINITELY on its shit; REAL TIGHT wit tha “extravagant” parts, J Buc!! You know I don’t like hearin’ tha “Turn My Swag On” flow/lyrics at one point; that shit LIVES in ’09 ONLY!! LOL @ DJ B-Real teamin’ up on this; NICE combo!! A lil’ bit of Savage in tha voice almost on this track for tha 3rd verse! Nice job wit tha verse here, ya dig!! Lookin’ like a HUGE song fa tha future!! My Current Rating: 4.9


½time: SUPA HOT RIGHT CHEA, QUIKKDRAW!!! VERY, VERY TIGHT!!! Tha average CD rating iz 4.6 and you just REALLY got tha production, rappin’ and topics ALL on point!!! There’s a bunch of features left on this CD so you KNOW I’m lookin’ forward ta tha rest of it!!!


11. “Truish”
Of course, when it’s your mouth, it’s DEFINITELY “true!!” Uh oh, E.D. producin’ this so you KNOW he told you to, “put a beat on!!” >>> Cool-ass beat intro here and you sound good in tha beginning!! Ooh, an anthem for tha ones dat keep it real!!! Luvin’ tha “truish” shit in tha hook!! You definin’ your freshness in tha 1st verse here; good shit, my boy! Do you deal wit a lotta fake people on a daily basis? No one can take your shine!! You keepin’ your swag up wit tha 2nd verse here, doin’ ya thang to tha fullest! LOL, where’d all tha “ass” and shit come from in tha 3rd verse? It emerged onto tha track like it’s nothin’, lol. My Rating: 4.6


12. Corner Store Skit Feat. Xen
Uh oh, a skit wit 2:19 on tha length!!! Shit-to-tha-fuckin’-yea!!! >>> ROFL/LMFAO @ you fulla dat shit!!!!! Just luv how you sound on this!!! How much pounds did you smoke? I like how tha beat sounds hidden in tha back (like a stereo vibe) at :23! What’s happenin’ at :38 wit tha genie beat? Quikk, you makin’ a genie come out? You sound like a robot when you on all dis shit, lol! You want more “Doritos,” lol? Crazy-ass Quikkdraw!!! My Rating: N/A
EDIT: Just randomly checked DatPiff’s tracklist (‘cause I’m switchin’ back ‘n’ forth from tha CD to tha DatPiff) and I see dat Xen was featured on this; good shit!! Gotta fuckin’ luv Xen too!!!


13. “Ridin’ Dirtee”
You spelled “dirty” tha same way Dizzee Rascal spells it, lol. Maybe a future collaboration? LOL, I’m just playin’; he in tha UK! Let’s see (wit only 2:34 on tha length; almost as long as tha skit) how fast you can ride within this song!! Shout out ta E.D. on tha beat; you gon have ta “put this beat on!!” >>> Sounds hella cool for a start here; you got dis shit on lock!!! LOL, where’d tha trumpets come from outta nowhere @ :12!! LOL, all tha collisionful Quikkdraw raps comin’ at me @ :24!!! You TOO FUCKIN’ GR8; such a character!!! REAL NICE job wit tha 1st verse and tha hook sounds cool wit tha sample; DEFINITELY “ridin’ dirtee” to tha fullest on this shit! You got some good shit comin’ outta tha 2nd verse here, just really “ridin’ dirtee” to tha fullest!! My Rating: 4.8


14. “Can’t Controll It” Feat. Xen
I didn’t fall for tha Xen feature this time!!! I looked at it on DatPiff; why you takin’ Xen outta tha features on tha back cover? Not good… But, now dat I notice him, I feel hella anticipated fa this shit; what up, big Xen?!? Ike Numberz on this beat so you KNOW you REALLY gon have ta have “a beat on,” lol!!! >>> LOL @ tha smokin’ in tha beginning; somethin’ tol’ me this was gonna be on a smokin’/not bein’ able to “controll it” tip!! Sounds nice and Jamaican for tha beginning and tha beat iz kick-ass in a different/somewhat Reggae way!! You’re on tha 1st verse here and you just LUVIN’ tha kush!!! How’d you get interested in tha kush? You rememba tha date and time you first took an inhale of it? LOL… Tha hook sounds cool wit dat singin’ sample; good shit! I wonder what Xen—neva mind, you’re on tha 2nd verse! You’re SO in luv wit tha kush once again!! You LUV tha colors; you’re not “color struck” like in “Hata Hurta,” lol. You think “tha airplanes so loud,” lol? ROFL… Shit yea, here’s dat boy Xen on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit some “dreadful-griminess,” lol!! E.D. on tha beat again!! Anotha quickie (only 2.5 minutes)… I KNOW you gon hol’ it down!!! >>> Sounds like you’re at a radio station in tha beginning… Oh, iz this anotha skit, lol? Sounds like where tha genie scene left off… I can tell it’s a skit ‘cause tha first two lines didn’t rhyme. What’s goin’ on here? Tell me… I’m slowly gettin’ confused… Are you just high or somethin’?
EDIT: Just checked it out again and because I saw dat E.D. was on tha beat, I decided to consider this a song. It’s still a lil’ weird ta review though… I don’t know what ta say ‘bout tha 1st verse… I guess you’re really high or somethin’? It sounds funny towards tha 2:09 mark… I’m still confused at what ta rate this… My Rating: 4.2


16. Da Real Feat. DJ B-Real
Anotha DJ B-Real feature; you KNOW you official!! You don’t have tha listed producer so I assume he produced it; let’s see… >>> Shit, it’s anotha skit! You fulla dat shit!! Shout out ta DJ B-Real on tha feature/check in!! No wonder there was no production credit! If #15 was meant to be a song, lemme know and I’ll re-hear it. My Rating: N/A


17. “Concept”
Tha producer has a self-titled production here, lol! Concept iz also tha producer and you’re tha rapper here, Quikkdraw; do tha damn thang (as in response to what B-Real was sayin’ about, “How you define yourself/music?”)!! >>> ROFL, where’d dat beat intro come outta? LOL!! LUV tha unexpected!! Sounds like a raw, Rock-Hop beat for you!! You got a lotta shit goin’ on in tha 1st verse here; murderin’ these tracks to tha fullest!! You goin’ long on tha 1st verse here; just SO consistent here!! I hear somethin’ different at 1:47; iz dat tha short hook? LOL… You spittin’ fiya on tha track here!! Kinda on a freestyle feel wit tha consistent rappin’; keep doin’ tha damn thang!! Nice job wit tha raw shit comin’ outta tha 2nd verse!! My Rating: 4.5


18. “Um Ill”
This has ta be REAL good!!! J Buc did tha beat and although tha title’s a lil’ familiar ta somethin’ in tha mainstream now, I KNOW wit Mr. Buc on tha beat, you gon do yo thang ‘cause… … … he “put a beat on,” lol!!! >>> You took tha Lil’ Wayne sample of “A Milli” instead of tha Red Café song wit tha Jay-Z sample… Sounds like a good start and when you have a sample in your song, you KNOW it adds more to your character, Quikkdraw! Doesn’t sound like a J Buc beat here but it’s still good. I don’t like some of tha typical sounds in tha beat but it doesn’t matter ‘cause it’s good! You got some fiya comin’ out yo mouth on tha 1st verse here; TIGHTNESS!! LOL, where did dat chipmunk come outta @ 1:39? LOL… You got tha undaground on lock right now, ya dig! You doin’ a good job on tha 2nd verse too; “transformin’,” lol! What can a Quikkdraw transform into, lol? You’re tha shit as it iz! My Rating: 4.4

E.D. did this beat this time so you KNOW tha “beat’s on,” lol! Let’s see what this one has in store!! …Wait, I just checked DatPiff and A.R. iz featured on it; why didn’t you source him in tha CD cover? >>> Sounds like an anthem iz about ta start in tha beginning; dunn, dunn, dunn!!! Tha 1st verse emerged outta nowhere and you got REAL tight rhymes goin’ on here!! Tha “wheezin’” part caught my attention; nothin’ but strength on tha track!!! REAL NICE 1st verse, ya dig!! Oh, shit, iz dat A.R. on tha beat? Holy shit, he caught my attention to tha fullest!! Fuckin’ tightness on tha hook!!! Not only dat, he’s too good ta have tha 2nd verse too!!! Feelin’ his verse right here; good street shit, A.R.! My Rating: 4.7


20. “Goin’ Hard”
Anotha “beat on,” lol, ‘cause E.D.’s on tha beat again! I already know you be “goin’ hard” on this WHOLE CD right chea, ya heard me!! That’s why your CD’s gonna have an au—I won’t give it away! You gotta stay tuned ‘cause I can feel it!!! >>> Sounds like a J Buc in tha beginnin’ or somethin’ (like wit “Extravagant” wit tha “shit!” intro)!! Tha beat’s cool here and it sounds like you’re younger or somethin’… This shit sounds like it gon go hard!! I prolly could’ve felt more anger in your voice/attitude here on tha 1st verse but it’s cool ‘cause you got tha rhymes ta back you up on this shit! I like your “fillin’ it” parts when it comes to tha dutch in tha 2nd verse, ya dig. Just luv when you rap, ya dig!! Glad you have a WHOLE MIXTAPE to yourself!! Even an ending (kinda like a bridge) fit in this song too, feelin’ powered up!! My Rating: 4.3


21. “I Bleed Dis” Feat. J Buc & Nu$$ie
I feel like I’m DYIN’ ta hear this fa some reason… I thought tha Nu$$ie songs were done by now but this one just seems like it can breathe some GR8 2008 air into this year!!! Let’s see what we got here wit J Buc on tha beat!! >>> Would prolly’ve predicted Beat Flippa on tha beat if I didn’t see who produced it; GRIMY-ASS intro here wit tha beat!!! Sounds like J Buc on tha hook and he comin’ through wit some gutta-ass shit here!! DEFINITELY tightness here!! Speakin’ of Buc, here he iz on tha 1st verse, havin’ his “pants sag” so you know he gets a plus fa what he does all day!! He did tha damn thang on his verse wit this gutta beat here dat he produced, ya dig!! Let’s see what we got fa tha 2nd—damn, Quikkdraw!! You just comin’ through wit all tha HOT-ASS rhymes and rappin’ here!!! Too much goin’ on here ta where it’s TOO good!!! DEFINITELY a REAL TIGHT verse, Quikkboy, lol! For tha final verse of tha CD… dunn, dunn, dunn… I always stereotype it as a recycled verse but I think he just recycles his lines a lot. I neva heard tha “lunchable” part before so this iz new. Sounds good ta have tha Nu$$ on a track!! He did tha damn thang on this too!! I wish I would’ve had this February 13 ‘cause I would’ve thrown it in my R.I.P. Nu$$ie Tribute Show! Either way, I DEFINITELY luv tha fade-out ending ta this song/this WHOLE CD!!! My Rating: 4.8


Overall: What a Quikkdraw!!! What a Quikkdraw!!! I said, “What a Quikkdraw!!!” You DEFINITELY have REAL TIGHT music right chea!!! And what I was sayin’ before: You’re gettin’ an automatic 5* rating for your CD ‘cause every song was 4.0 or higher (no less, you got 4.2 or higher for each one)!!! REAL, REAL TIGHT, my boy!!! You KNOW I luv you and what you do to tha fullest!!! Keep up tha gr8 work and keep puttin’ out HOT-ASS, RAW-ASS, TIGHT-ASS MUSIC!!!!!
