As I have a day off fa two dayz, it’s time to regain some energy & review! This next one, out tha N.O., iz Point Look Out Records Point Of No Return, released in 1999 on Point Look Out Records; leggo! Start Time: 2:51 PM | End Time: 4:03 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

01. Intro – Who In Da House?

>>> Sounds like a mix between bounce & remindin’ me of Christmas, on tha beat? Maybe ‘cause it’s Christmas Eve, today? Either way, sounds good… My Rating: N/A

02. “Blood In & Blood Out” feat. Lil’ One & Ressie

>>> Sounds good wit tha hook about tha “round” & “whodie;” good shit, includin’ this undaground vibe…! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it sounds good, here; gangsta shit at its finest…! Got a female on tha 2^nd verse, here, soundin’ nice ta hear, fa tha 5-0-4… Got tha 3^rd verse goin’ on, here & it sounds like anotha nicely-delivered rhyme from tha N.O., here… I do agree wit tha end of tha verse: “Thank God for your 2^nd chance… it’s time to advance!” Can’t wait till I’m off tha system!!! My Rating: 4.2

03. “Contradiction”
>>> An okay beat; a catchy-soundin’ hook, here, tha way it’s delivered… It kinda reminds me of Mannie Fresh, with how it’s sung/rapped… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it’s soundin’ okay, here… Consistent-soundin’ 1^st verse with tha “agilities” & shit; feelin’ these rhymes…! Anotha dude out tha P.L.O. on tha 2^nd part of tha 1^st verse, here, soundin’ good; keep it goin’, keep it goin’…! “I reach havoc, when my pen hits tha tablet;” nice! Listenin’ to tha 2^nd verse, here & it sounds like an okay flow with nice rhymes…; good shit…! “Tha bigger tha crowd, tha bigger tha funeral…;” deep! My Rating: 4.3

04. “Da Right Way”

>>> An R&B-type hook, ova this R&B-type beat…; I’ono, here… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it aight; at least it a lil’ short… Tha 2^nd verse starts off weird, with tha “Marvin Gaye” reference, that he “like Marvin,” tho he “not gay,” smh… Tha 3^rd verse aight; no comment on this… My Rating: 2.3

05. “Destiny” feat. Lil’ One

>>> Sounds good wit tha 1^st verse & beat, here… Tha hook sounds catchy; all about tha destined future…! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it sounds good wit this “teacher” advice…; nice… Keepin’ tha 3^rd verse goin’ wit tha “obstacle”-overcoming mission; nice! My Rating: 4.0

06. “So Cold”
>>> A catchy-soundin’ hook, tho pretty “cold” wit tha “doin’ 50 – life;” hate hearin’ about jail shit…! Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it sounds good but rough ta hear… Sounds like a ghetto-soundin’ 2^nd verse, here, spittin’ some strugglin’ rhymes…; not bad… My Rating: 3.4

07. “Fi Di In Da Hole” feat. FI YI YI
>>> Sounds like “fiya” ta me? An okay hook wit an okay beat, here… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & tha flow sounds kinda boring? Why tha hell this 6:05?! Too boring ta be that long!! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it sounds okay; energetic lyrics, tho a low amount of energy? Not even ½way done & it sounds like an outro? I mean, good lil’ energy from FI YI YI, tho too long? Yeah, what tha hell, here? Coulda at least been an outro track…! My Rating: 3.0

08. “He Is A Busta”
>>> An okay beat; sounds like an okay hook, too, fa tha undaground… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it str8, here; nothin’ much ta say… Tha title part comes afta tha 1^st verse & it sounds okay ta hear, here… Only one verse? Too bad it more than three minutes long… My Rating: 3.5

09. “Can You Feel It” feat. Ill Wind

>>> It sounds a lil’ like C-Murder on tha hook, here; a lil’ bit of singin’, too… Why tha hell this 1^st verse clean? Just okay but why iz it 6:11 on tha length?! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it aight; clean & boring, tho… God, dude even sings “In The Air Tonight”, right before tha 4:00 mark… It’s like, how much more in this track? Also, a 3^rd verse, quotin’ tha whole “I pray to you my soul to keep” lines… Verse? Maybe, just a long outro? My Rating: 3.2

½time: Started off nice but it’s startin’ ta sound boring & long… Also, a lil’ too R&Bish fa me, at times? A 3.5-rated CD, currently; let’s keep it goin’…

10. “U Don’t Wanna Do” feat. Lil’ One

>>> An okay 1^st verse, here, wit an okay beat… Hearin’ tha hook & it str8; I’ono how high I’ll rate dis… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it’s okay; nothin’ ta really say… Hearin’ tha 3^rd verse & it ain’t bad; again, nothin’ ta really say wit dis one… My Rating: 3.1

>>> An okay beat wit a good lil’ hook, here… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it ain’t bad, here… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it ain’t bad, as well; sounds a lil’ cooler… My Rating: 3.5

12. “U Want A Hot Boy” feat. 2 Tight

>>> A female on tha hook, here; not bad, includin’ tha nice bounce vibe… Sounds like a long verse fa tha 1^st verse, though it’s tha hook makin’ a random transition inta tha 1^st verse…; good/draggin’… Tha 2^nd verse from tha dude not bad, as well… My Rating: 3.6

13. “Maintain” feat. Lil’ One

>>> Sounds like a good lil’ 1^st verse fa this street-soundin’ track that’s kinda calm… Hearin’ tha hook & it’s str8; nice ta describe survival, I guess? Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it ain’t bad, as well… Got tha 3^rd verse goin’ on, here & it okay, though hearin’ too much storytellin’ iz startin’ ta bore me… My Rating: 3.3

14. “Who Dat”
>>> An okay bounce/upbeat vibe, this time… Hearin’ “tha L-A-R-R-Y M-C” on tha 1^st verse, here, soundin’ okay; a regular-soundin’ verse fa this bounce… Hearin’ tha hook & it sounds betta than usual, even tho it mainly okay; let’s see what else lurks… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it ain’t bad; nothin’ much ta say… Almost thought it was a long outro but then, a 3^rd verse came outta nowhere, with almost less than a minute left… My Rating: 3.7

15. “Vibe Us Room” feat. Slim Duggy

>>> Sounds good wit this “vibe,” I guess? Upbeat & layin’ it down on tha 1^st verse, here…; sounds good, once again. Tha hook sounds good, here…; I don’t have much in me fa lots of feedback, tho… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it ain’t bad, as y’all strictly rep what y’all rep, here… Got tha 3^rd verse goin’ on, here & it cool…; upbeat/decent track, overall. My Rating: 3.5

16. “In My Cell Drobe” feat. Lil’ One

>>> Sounds like an okay hook, as well as this southern beat… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it ain’t bad/sounds good… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it sounds good fa storytellin’ & this beat, tho decent fa a song, fa me… Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it ain’t bad, as y’all keepin’ this southern shit goin’… My Rating: 3.8

17. “Creep Thru Da Ghetto”
>>> A good lil’ beat, as well as tha singin’ on tha hook… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse & it sounds like a rough/semi-good story of tha hood… Got tha 2^nd verse goin’ on & it’s not bad; good hood story, once again… Tha singin’ feels like it drags, at times…; ehh… My Rating: 3.4

18. “Why Me”
>>> Sounds like a decent hook & beat, here… Got tha 1^st verse goin’ on, here & it’s not bad/good lil’ street content, here… Tha 2^nd verse sounds good, as this progresses to tha end, here… My Rating: 3.5

19. “Outro – Who In Da House?”

>>> A nice lil’ beat, as well as a verse ta rap thangz up; good shit… My Rating: 3.9

Overall: Most of this was decent, as some tracks were a lil’ too long… There were a few bangerz but nothin’ too much that I’d jump for. Either way, this anotha contribution to tha N.O. catalog!
