Happy 59^th day in a row of reviewin’ CDs!! I won’t be reviewin’ 2morrow, due to I’m about to make my dream come true!! I’m sure some of y’all can figure it out already, but for those that don’t know, stay tuned!! Before I achieve my dream, here goes my review for Mia X Mama Drama, released in 1998 on No Limit Records & Priority Records! Happy Birthday to my boy, YB!! Start Time: 2:08 AM | End Time: 2:38 AM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. KLC beat! >>> Dope beat; dope aggression on tha hook, here! Err-body got shit on lock, here, to tha fullest; excellent shit from err-body!! My Rating: 4.5

02. “Whatcha Wanna Do”
Craig B & O’Dell beat! >>> Slow lil’ track, here; nothin’ special except sometimes, when I think of tha laidback vibe, which I gon experience some warm weather today!! My Rating: 3.7

03. “Don’t Start No Shit” feat. C-Murder & Master P

Craig B on tha beat… >>> Sounds like one of those typical-soundin’ hooks but with a lotta energy, here… P on tha 1^st verse, here, completely rippin’ shit up, here; definitely dope!! C on tha 2^nd verse, here, soundin’ decent, but not on P’s level… And, you on tha 3^rd verse, here, soundin’ aight, too… My Rating: 3.8

KLC beat, here… >>> Tha hook ain’t too bad, here, wit this decent-soundin’ beat… Hearin’ you on tha 1^st verse and it’s decent from you, here… Even on tha 2^nd verse, you keepin’ shit goin’, but on a decent level… No Mystikal?? My Rating: 3.2

05. “I’mma Shine”

Craig B doin’ this beat… >>> Sounds like an older sound of Louisiana, here, wit tha bounce-soundin’ speed, here… Tha hook ain’t bad, here; decent lil’ track, overall… My Rating: 3.6

06. “I Think Somebody” feat. Fiend

KLC on tha beat, here… >>> Sounds like a dope hook fa tha gangstaz, here, but when it’s a female CD, I hate usin’ tha word “gangsta.” I feel like it’s more for tha male music! Either way, nice wit how you comin’ through on tha 1^st verse, here… And, Fiend a great dude ta collab with; definitely soulja-type shit, here! My Rating: 4.1

07. “Mama’s Tribute”

KLC beat… >>> Dry, decent beat, here… Decent wit how you comin’ through on tha rappin’ but tha hook kinda interestin’… I ain’t expect it to be mixed on a turntable, lol… My Rating: 3.5

08. “What’s Ya Point” feat. Fat Joe & Snoop Dogg

Craig B doin’ this beat… >>> This iz so strange ta hear Fat Joe say, “NY to tha NO,” like, whoa…?! At this time, they ain’t embrace tha south like how tha south iz accepted, now… Fat Joe doin’ tha 1^st verse and it ain’t bad, but I feel like it don’t fit tha Louisiana sound, obviously… Tha hook sounds catchy, here; not much ta “say.” And, collabin’ wit Snoop on tha 2^nd verse, here, soundin’ decent… Now, I feel more of a West Coast vibe wit this one… And, you ain’t that bad, neither, here… My Rating: 3.7

09. “Thugs Like Me”
KLC track… >>> Sounds decent and a lil’ consistent wit tha random rhymes, here… Not really that crazy about tha somewhat-singin’ hook, includin’ tha remade-soundin’ hook, “I know what thugs like…” My Rating: 3.1

10. “Ride Or Run” feat. Big Ed & Steady Mobb’n

Carlos Stephens beat… >>> Sounds like a dry beat but tha 1^st verse sounds decent, here… Tha hook sounds good wit tha choice of ridin’ “or” runnin’, here… And, we got you on tha 2^nd verse, just reppin’, here… Tha 3^rd verse sounds nice wit tha aggression, here; good shit… My Rating: 3.8

½time: A 3.7-rated CD, so far; this ain’t that bad…

11. “TRU Bitches”

Craig B on tha track… >>> Sounds like a decent/above-average-soundin’ song, here… Decent verses and tha hook sounds like a nice representation for tha gangstaz, even tho that ain’t tha word I really wanna use fa your CD, here… My Rating: 3.7

12. “Puttin’ It Down” feat. Mystikal, Fiend, Mac, Kane, Abel, Big Man, Boz & Silkk The Shocker

KLC on tha track… >>> Sounds like a hype-soundin’ hook, here; good shit! Tha beat ain’t that bad but it sounds like it’s good ta rap on, here… Mystikal on tha 1^st verse, here, “puttin’ it down” in an aggressive way, as always! Keepin’ it movin’ wit tha 2^nd verse and we’re continuin’ ta put “it down;” good shit! Tha 3^rd verse’s pretty serious wit all this “puttin’ down” shit; dope shit! Almost sounds like a sequel to “How Ya Do That”, in a way… Here you are, on tha 4^th verse, soundin’ decent but nothin’ special wit your “puts it down”s… And, tha shit spit after your verse sounds consistent and nice, here; good shit… My Rating: 4.2

13. “Ghetto Livin’” feat. Ghetto Commission, Byron Dolliolie & O’Dell

Carlos Stephens on tha track… >>> Sounds like a slow track, here; not bad… Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it sounds like a decent lil’ track ta define tha unsafe “streetz,” here… Tha 2^nd verse keeps tha 1^st verse’s content comin’ along, here, as well… And, you’re on tha 3^rd verse, comin’ through wit some decent shit ta spit… Nothin’ really special fa me, overall… My Rating: 2.8

14. “Play Wit Pussy”

KLC on tha beat… >>> Sounds like a decent track wit a lil’ more of a hyped-up vibe, here… Not bad wit how you comin’ through wit this one, overall… My Rating: 3.4

15. “Don’t Blame Me” feat. C-Murder & Mr. Serv-On
Carlos Stephens on tha track, here… >>> C comin’ through on tha 1^st verse, doin’ a nice job, here wit his creepy-soundin’ delivery/lyrics, here… And, Mr. Serv-On spittin’ some nice shit fa you on tha 2^nd verse, here… It sounds like a mix between a spoken-word conversation and some nice rhymes, in a fast way… And, you on tha 3^rd verse, here, soundin’ decent, here… My Rating: 3.9

16. “Daddy” feat. Anita Thomas, Byron Dolliolie, O’Dell & Wendy Weary

O’Dell beat… >>> A slow track that doesn’t sound that special, here… Decent story but I can’t take this serious… My Rating: 1.7

17. “Like Dat”

Craig B on tha track… >>> Sounds like a betta-soundin’ beat with tha funky undaground sound to it… Nice job wit how you come through in a more-quiet way, here… My Rating: 3.9

18. “Sex Ed.” feat. Silkk The Shocker & Wendy Weary

O’Dell on this track… >>> Quiet and slow, here; not bad for an R&B track but not really for me… My Rating: 2.2

19. “Flip 2 Rip” feat. Mac

KLC on tha track… >>> Diggin’ tha start with tha flip of a coin… Mac soundin’ good on this 1^st verse, here, over this semi-dry beat… Hearin’ tha hook and it’s not bad, here… Hearin’ you on tha 2^nd verse and you sound decent, here; can’t complain, this time… And, more from Mac on tha 3^rd verse, here, soundin’ pretty nice… My Rating: 3.8

20. “Fallen Angels (Dear Jill)” feat. Anita Thomas, Porsha & Wendy Weary

KLC & O’Dell ta end this CD off… >>> Sounds like it gon be depressin’… Hearin’ tha rhymes and they’re ehh…; yeah, on tha depressin’ side fa me… This ain’t for me; gonna have to pass! My Rating: 1.3

Overall: Some tracks were decent but those that weren’t for me weighed heavy on tha CD rating, overall…
