Tryna fill up my latest music files data DVD… And, with that happenin’, at tha moment, time ta put more CDs on there… Here goes my review for DJ Tank Da Return Vol. 3, sponsored by New Era Muzik. Yesterday was Mardi Gras, but I was too tied up video-editing and had a few phone calls, so I just missed doin’ tha review. But, it’s two dayz later now, lol… Start Time: 7:18 PM | End Time: 8:34 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you use tha word “swag” frequently, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

01. WestBank Shakie “I’m The New Era”

Of course, all songs produced by you, as well as mixed (I’ll be listing tha mixes in tha IDs for tha remixes). >>> I know most of this CD gon have tha same vibe and feel like it gon drag, but you know I fucks wit this bounce, party-type shit! Nice “up and up and up and up…” shit! Oh no, here comes tha Tamia blendin’ in at 1:25, randomly… It sounds nice ta randomly appear, at least, and not drag on… My Rating: 4.4

02. Dej Loaf “Easy Love (DJ Tank Mix)”

LOL @ Dej on here! >>> This has a faster vibe and sounds like tha beat’s catchier (I guess, original version vs. tha bounce beats). She sounds kinda corny on this song, but it’s still nice to mix… Really boring, overall, but tha beats were nice… My Rating: 3.4

03. Roshigity “Eat That Dick”

>>> Diggin’ tha, “And infinity,” in tha beginning… “Dick”tastic fa this Shigity chick? This sounds real catchy wit how tha title repeats; repeatin’ titles tend to catch my attention! Nice job, though I don’t fuck wit tha Rihanna sample throughout this… LOL @ how she says, “I’m ‘bout ta eat that dick, eat that dick,” with “Back That Thang Up”’s beat in tha background; funny! And, “Rabbit, rabbit, rabbit,” or, “Grabbin’?” “Grab it,” lol? Definitely a nice joint, here! My Rating: 4.6

04. Ms. Peaches “Who’s That Punk”
>>> Diggin’ tha Eve “Who’s That Girl?” lil’ remake-kinda hook, here; nice job, Peaches! Sounds like anotha Tamia track in tha background… This one seemed short, but was good to hear. My Rating: 4.1

05. Chris Brown “Songs On 12 Play (DJ Tank Mix)”
>>> Don’t really fuck wit his music, but this beat start sounds exciting… Chris boring fa me, so this doesn’t really do it for me; this should’ve been two minutes, not tha previous song. Either way, nice beats from you, as always, Tank! My Rating: 2.8

06. Flo “I Want My Old Thing”

>>> I like tha topic of, “I want my old thing back.” I also like tha, “Better get you some;” sounds like a tongue twirl, lol? Catchy bounce tune with tha random sample in tha background of tha hook! My Rating: 4.3

07. Mary J. Blige “Whole Damn Year (DJ Tank Mix)”
LOL… >>> Long length, so let’s see what happens, here… LOL @ tha hook and her “whole damn year”ness ova this beat! Didn’t seem too bad for almost five minutes, here… My Rating: 3.8

08. Josephine Donald “Josephine Roc”

>>> Sounds great with how Mr. “Josephine” delivers this… Tha samples in tha background get in tha way, at times, but it’s still jammin’. My Rating: 3.7

09. Keedy Black “Leg On The Wall”
I bet this gon be nuts! >>> It’s good with this chick goin’ nuts wit tha “leg” and “tha wall,” but not really diggin’ tha samples in tha background, especially “All Of Me” and how it was played out. My Rating: 3.5

10. Ray J “One Wish (DJ Tank Mix)”

LOL @ spellin’ his name as “Ray Jay.” >>> Always thought this song wasn’t for me and was boring. Tha beats sound good on here, though, but screw this song. My Rating: 2.0

½time: Nice blendin’, producin’ & mixin’, regardless of how I feel about some of tha songs. Currently, a 3.7-rated CD.

11. Kelly Pounchin “Gobble On It”
LOL? >>> Sounds excellent, between Ellie Goulding’s “Lights” beat (slowed down) and “wobble on that cock; gobble on that cock,” lol! And, at :57, I’m diggin’ tha bounce beats kickin’ in! Likin’ how they try and remake The Fugees with, “Ooh la la la.” My Rating: 4.0

12. Chris Brown feat. Usher “New Flame (DJ Tank Mix)”
>>> Just like before, he’s boring; this just sounds a lil’ betta ‘cause it’s a lil’ cheesier, especially wit dat silly original beat in it… My Rating: 2.9

13. Ms. Peaches “Peaches Fifty-Five”
>>> Just a regular beat and some nice bounce vibes, here… Mary J. Blige sample at 1:08; sounds good ta feature that song of hers… I’m startin’ ta like this a lil’ betta with tha beats in tha background… Keep Rihanna outta this! My Rating: 3.9

14. Tese “Good Pussy”

>>> Should forget about PCD and their “I Hate This Part” beat… Either way, glad she’s “got that good pussy,” ova tha bounce beats! LOL, tha Mary J. sample came back! My Rating: 3.5

15. Tamar Braxton feat. Future “Let Me Know (DJ Tank Mix)”
>>> Gay with Future in tha beginning…; why this almost five-and-a-half minutes long? Too long; just okay… My Rating: 1.8

16. Ms. Peaches “Tell Dat Boy”
>>> You’re luvin’ tha Mary J. samples, huh, Tank? “No More Drama” ta start this one off and then, tha bounce beat drops… Random screamin’, lol? An okay one, as well… My Rating: 3.1

17. Tese “What Cha Go Do”
>>> This chick sounds catchier on tha voice; diggin’ this voice fa these kinda tracks, fa femalez! “I’mma suck him;” yeah! My Rating: 4.2

18. Trey Songz “Smartphone (DJ Tank Mix)”

Not a DJ Tank Mix, but a beat? Not anticipatin’ it… >>> Nice that tha bounce beat’s faster, but yeah, no Trey Songz fa me and his cocky ass… My Rating: 1.5

>>> Phil Collins “In The Air Tonight” beat ta start this off, in tha background; okay, so far… I like how she plays “football.” LOL @ tha Mary J. sample, once again! My Rating: 3.3

20. Cee-Lo Green “Fuck You (DJ Tank Mix)”
What a way ta end this… >>> Slowed-down vocals with faster-soundin’ beats; random mix… My Rating: 2.4

Overall: Though tha ratings weren’t really up there, I’m always glad to review these compilations, includin’ it bein’ on a bounce tip…
