Review #1,527: The Everlasting Hitman "Bounce! Baby, Bounce!"

Reviewed on 9.21.2016 (Review #1,527)

Time fa my 5th review fa today! Can’t believe I’m sayin’, “5th review,” when I worked 4 – 11 AM, napped, been reviewin’, gonna get fulla dat shit in an hour & have to work tha next morning! A non-stop grind!! This review’s The Everlasting Hitman Bounce! Baby, Bounce!, a lil’ EP released in 1993 on Mr. Tee Records. Start Time: 6:06 PM | End Time: 6:29 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> “ iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> “ iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

01. “Bounce! Baby, Bounce!”
Let’s hear it! >>> Feelin’ tha bounce energy in tha beginning, here… Definitely jammin’; can’t deny it! Tha hook’s nice and tha chantin’ iz unstoppable! Tha 1st verse definitely has tha energy ta “shake it-shakiggity-shake it!” You neva will stop bouncin’!! Diggin’ tha “shake it-shakiggity-shake it” and “wash it” shit! My Rating: 4.3

02. “Bounce! Baby, Bounce! (Radio Etra Version)”
Tha previous version sounded like a clean version, but I guess this one, too… >>> Oh, I hear tha “trick” shit; different wordin’… See #1 fa tha review!

03. “Bounce! Baby, Bounce! (Street Version)”
I shoulda heard this one first and reviewed this dirty version… See #1 fa tha review!

04. “Bounce! Baby, Bounce! (Long Version; Very Explicit Lyrics)”
Lol @ tha “Very Explicit Lyrics” in tha ID! A longer version? Let’s see… >>> Yeah, this sounds nice, as well! I’ll count this as a different song ta review, since it’s a longer version… Nice with tha “fresh Polo, a pair of Girbauds;” diggin’ it in ’93! Lol @ “why yo hair ain’t long…” And, “If I bust four nuts;” really, lol? Really feelin’ how there’s so much ta offer, here! It’s almost like, can we have a 15-minute version? Lol! My Rating: 4.3

½time: Average CD Rating: 4.3, so far!

05. “Bounce! Baby, Bounce! (Street Version)”
Again, lol? See #1 fa tha review!

06. “Bounce! Baby, Bounce! (Long Version; Very Explicit Lyrics)”
Again, lol? See #4 fa tha review!

07. “Special Man”
*Gasp* A different song, lol? >>> Feelin’ tha grain-y beginning, here… Sounds like a nice lil’ skit or somethin’? Finally, at 1:26, tha beat kicked in and it sounds pretty dark! Let’s see how this goes… Almost sounds like a different person? Nice, dark-soundin’ vocals, here! Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s pretty good; definitely grimy! Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ nice, too, as it progressed from tha nice hook… Great job with this anthemic joint fa dem hustlaz! Tha lil’ bridge before tha 3rd verse sounded nice with tha lil’ remake in tha vocals… Hearin’ tha 3rd verse now and it’s definitely official, too… My Rating: 4.4

08. “Westside”
>>> Anotha anthemic one! Nice fa what I thought was only tha “Bounce! Baby, Bounce!” song, ya dig? Hearin’ tha hook and it’s definitely nice! Gotta feel tha beat and how you deliverin’ this in an anthemic style! Tha 1st verse’s pretty nice, too; good shit! Tha 2nd verse sounds like a different dude? Either way, good shit ta hear! Luvin’ tha organs in tha beat! A female on tha 3rd verse? Let’s see… That was a short verse, but it did what it did… Hearin’ tha 4th verse and it’s pretty nice, so far; good shit, here! Almost thought that was an outro at tha end but more of tha hook’s here, too… My Rating: 4.3

Overall: A nice lil’ surprise toward tha end with those last two jointz; good shit! Definitely felt tha bounce vibe of tha “Bounce! Baby, Bounce!” joint, as well as how gangsta tha endin’ got on this tape! Good shit! Keep it up!!
