Damn, my body still goin’ fa today!!! Review #13 for 3.04.2011: FaM “Time Bomb (The Mixtape)”, outta Port Allen, LA. Start Time: 10:36 PM | End Time: 10:57 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. Countdown
One of my favorite things ta do: “countdowns”; how will it sound as a song ta start this off? >>> Oh, it’s just an intro. A 10-second “countdown” dat was 22 seconds long, lol. My Rating: N/A


02. “On My Own”
>>> Damn, what’s up wit tha wack-soundin’ production? Not a good beat… You sound only aight but not up-ta-par fa me. My Rating: 2.6


03. “Side Step”
>>> Oh no, tha jacked beats… Even added “ah, ah” in tha background to dis jacked beat, lol? Tha rappin’ ain’t too bad, here; a lil’ on tha “swag” side, though. My Rating: 2.8


04. “Like Me” Feat. Baby Mug
>>> Tha Slim Thug sample in tha hook sounds good. Damn, why tha hell it so long? Afta 51 seconds, here’s tha verses, finally. This ain’t too bad, overall… Baby Mug’s a girl, addin’ some anger to tha track! My Rating: 3.4


05. “Don’t Get Us Started” Feat. Razr
>>> Sounds like tha male version of anger, this time, lol. Even though tha beat’s jacked, y’all doin’ a pretty-good job wit dis. My Rating: 3.7


06. “I Get Doe” Feat. Yella & Joka
>>> ROFL, I think one of tha first few reviewz earlier today had a “I Get Dough” and it was similar ta dis. Dat one was excitin’ ta where you could laugh hard; this iz decent. BTW, tha features are good ‘cause I know dem from Trakk Boii. This definitely has a Southern vibe ta it; glad tha features are here! My Rating: 3.9


07. “Give Me Status”
>>> Tha beats are startin’ ta randomly pick up! Ooh, Young Hustla doin’ tha beat here? LOL, thought this was gonna be one of those really-plain CDs but it might not be. Tha title’s nice and tha hook’s good wit dat beat! I’m feelin’ tha rhymes, as they add ta what I expect ta be tight! My Rating: 4.1


08. “Oh No” Feat. Fireboy
>>> I like tha beginning, here, wit tha hook. I’m likin’ tha consistent rhymes goin’ on here; keep ‘em comin’! Nice job wit tha collaboration… My Rating: 4.0


½time: A 3.5-rated CD, so far; slowly pickin’ up…


09. “Late Nite Creepin’”
>>> Back to tha jacked beats… Where tha hook was was just an intro and when tha 1st verse was ‘pose ta come up, it sounded like tha hook; a lil’ different wit tha order, lol. This iz aight/somewhat-catchy. My Rating: 3.6


10. “Unfaithful (Remix)” Feat. Rihanna
Why dat feature? SMH…? Why you even on a song like dis? >>> No interest; smh @ tha Rihanna shit toward tha end. Damn, DatPiff didn’t remove dis? Dis was, like, ½ tha original version… My Rating: 1.3


11. “I’m Back” Feat. Jayar
>>> Not gonna be bothered wit dis; sorry. My Rating: 1.0


12. “Get Against The Wall” Feat. Lil’ Boxx & Lil’ Mike
>>> Tha intro sounded like J-Skillz; damn, what a hot song wit all tha crazy rhymes you got goin’ on here!! Tha “take a peak-at-chu” part was definitely nice!! Lil’ Boxx’s on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some nice shit; glad he keepin’ tha consistent shit comin’ along!! Who’s dis dude on tha 3rd verse? Iz he from a certain clique or somethin’? There are plenty Mike’s out there…; this one sounds like he fits wit Lil’ Boxx. Oh, it’s “a ville boy;” he must be from da Ville Boyz? My Rating: 4.4


13. “Believe Dat” Feat. Stretch & Mal
Now, you’re buildin’ tha features up!! >>> Fuck no, a Nu$$ie sample on tha hook, smh! It’s catchy, but… *no comment*. At least dis iz soundin’ good wit tha beat and how you’re deliverin’ dat hot shit! Good job wit tha features; they add some spice ta dis joint! My Rating: 4.2


14. “I’m ‘Bout It” Feat. Young Jack
>>> Sounds like “Down Here” from Eddie Starks/Kevin Gates, a lil’, wit how tha beat sounds; anticipatin’… This iz a pretty-good-soundin’ song; tha hook sounds pretty-good, too. Tha Young Jack dude on tha 2nd verse sounds like a Boosie mixed wit someone under 20. I’m feelin’ tha gangsta shit, in a way… My Rating: 4.1


15. “Don’t Make Me Do It To Ya” Feat. Yella
I’m likin’ dis title. >>> Tha beat start gets me more in an anticipated mood! Yella adds some hot-ass shit on tha hook; sounds like an alarm finna go off!! Really soundin’ nice, here!!! Yella sounds real nice on tha 1st verse; nothin’ but crazy shit!! You’re doin’ a nice job on tha 2nd verse, too! My Rating: 4.5


16. “Fresh Chrome” Feat. Undisputed
>>> Ooh, Big Wayne doin’ tha beat, here! This must be pre-’09 since I hear “dat boy Big Wayne on tha track” in tha beat tag; gotta luv it!!! Nothin’ but dat hyper shit; Big Wayne always gets tha plus from me!! LOL, here comes tha beat pattern at :51; miss it!!!!! Tha Undisputed dude dat’s on tha 2nd verse iz soundin’ good, too; y’all a good team. My Rating: 4.5


17. “I’m A Slugga”
How we gon end dis? >>> Tha production, I guess, iz good; sounds a lil’ familiar? Tha hook’s catchy wit dis “slugga” shit; I like what you bringin’ ta dis table. Nice job wit tha attitude, too; you know what it iz! My Rating: 4.0


Overall: A wack start, somewhat-wack middle, and from #12, it was consistent!! Weird mix, but keep up tha good, 225 work!
