Reviewed on 3.27.2011 (Review #906)

Finna get a start on tha reviewz for today: No Limit Forever Records Presents “No Limit Forever (2011 Mixtape) #1. Start Time: 2:43 PM | End Time: 3:22 PM

Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. No Limit Forever Records “Intro”
>>> Good mix of tha former No Limit Records. My Rating: N/A

02. Romeo Feat. Meek Mill “Real Hustlaz”
Ooh, let’s see if I like dis collaboration! People say “Millz” but I know him by just “Mill”, lol. >>> A transition ta a Philly sound, here, for me—tha good times of ’08 it feels like! Even though I’m not really feelin’ Romeo’s rhymes too much, tha song, itself, sounds good. Tha hook sounds much betta than tha 1st verse; definitely improvement, especially from tha prior times I heard Lil’ Romeo. Meek Mill on tha 2nd verse? Not even sure, since it’s been a while since I heard tha both of y’all; good 2nd verse, by tha way. Oh, shit yea, now, I can tell dat Meek Mill’s on tha 3rd verse; definite plus!! He definitely still has dat quality from when I knew him throughout 2008!! His voice definitely makes shit sound hella tight; tha voice, energy, delivery—gotta luv it!! If it had ta be someone ta collaborate wit my Louisiana state, it has ta be people like Joey Jihad & Meek Mill from Philly!! My Rating: 4.4

03. Bengie B & Gangsta “We Ain’t Worried ‘Bout ‘Em”
Posted a bunch of their shit on http://bloodfament.blogspot.com fa my boy Justin. Now, lemme hear tha songs, themselves! >>> Ooh, nice 1st verse! Definitely feelin’ tha shit goin’ on, to tha fullest; nice, street shit! Tha hook’s nice, especially since y’all ain’t “worried ‘bout ‘em!” Gangsta’s on tha 2nd verse and you know I feel it! Definitely a plus, here! Damn, what a catchy 3rd verse wit tha flow and rhymes!! My Rating: 4.3

04. Romeo “Practice”
How will he be without Meek? >>> Was kinda concerned, at first, but tha beat’s real nice!! Good, consistent shit, here; definitely some good shit ta listen to! I like tha hook wit tha “practice” shit; interestin’ thought! Tha 2nd verse’s hella tight wit tha “wolf” shit; damn! My Rating: 4.5

05. Lil’ D “Hard In The Paint”
>>> LOL @ choosin’ dis beat; at least it’s under two minutes… Thumbs up to tha non-stop rhymes, lol! My Rating: 4.2

06. Romeo “Chasin’ A Dream”
>>> A lil’ Poppy wit tha lyrics… Aight, overall, but tha hook sounds gay wit tha vocals. My Rating: 3.1

07. Romeo “Wobble”
Anotha one from him, includin’ consecutive? >>> Damn, what a hot-ass beat, lol!!! Gotta luv when a sound effect goes nuts!!! Rhymes are a lil’ catchy but it’s all about this beat!! My Rating: 4.3

08. Silkk The Shocker “Soldier Ragg”
Too bad dis iz a short snippet ‘cause this iz tight, too. My Current Rating: 4.3

09. Romeo “Twerk That”
Damn, anotha one of his songs? >>> And, they’re stayin’ consistent! This iz more my type than “Wobble”, even though that had a betta beat. Still, this iz definitely hot; very consistent rhymes, too! My Rating: 4.3

10. Silkk The Shocker “Women Lie, Men Lie”
For a jacked beat, I gave this a 4.1, lol. My Current Rating: 4.1

11. T-Bo Feat. Bengie B & Gangsta “Hate Me Too”
Tha “too” iz spelled correct, luckily! Looks like a huge collaboration!!! >>> Ooh, Rodnae doin’ tha beat, here; thumbs up! Feelin’ this; T-Bo goin’ off and it sounds like he’s gettin’ laryngitis, lol!! Good job wit tha collaboration; glad T-Bo contributed more, as well as Bengie B & Gangsta comin’ through wit their two cents! LOL, Gangsta has a gutta, Southern voice, and it sounds like he has a big, wide mouth, lol! Or, a big face, lol. My Rating: 4.2

12. Romeo “We Ballin’”
>>> Tha beat sounds like a jacked beat reworked. Anyway, sounds like a typical, mainstream flow, here, so I dunno how much interest I can have in dis… My Rating: 3.0

½time: A lil’ too much Romeo but this iz a pretty-excitin’ mixtape; thumbs up! Currently, a 4.1-rated mixtape; how will tha 2nd ½ do?

13. Romeo “I Hate You”
>>> Good thing this iz short; not for me and tha voice iz a lil’ gayer! My Rating: 1.3

14. Gangsta “Baton Rouge”
>>> Good “’Bout It, ‘Bout It” ta back him up! Feelin’ all these rhymes; “BR”-reppin’, here!! LOL @ tha “niggas in tha bushes; hop out, surprise” part, lol; glad ta hear some of his character come out on tha track! My Rating: 4.2

15. Romeo Feat. Black Don & Valentino “How We Do”
Not again… >>> Tha start made me think this had ta do wit “BedRock”. But, once again, Romeo comin’ through wit some wack lyrics…; not likin’ tha Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em vocals and tha gay lyrics. Good thing there’s a Black Don ta back him up ‘cause tha rating wouldn’t be too high if it wasn’t for him! Valentino rappin’? Thought he sang? My Rating: 2.7

16. Romeo “Moment Fo Life”
>>> Not my kinda shit. My Rating: 2.0

17. Romeo “Ready”
ROFL, DatPiff removed this outta all tha other Romeo songs on here! Anotha one iz removed, later; we’ll see ‘bout dat but let’s see ‘bout dis one… >>> Good thing for Alicia Keys but what does this have ta do wit tha street vibe on this mixtape? Unfortunately, I didn’t get anything outta you but if I had ta rate it, I’d rate it… My Rating: 1.2

18. Romeo “They Don’t Know”
Yawn… >>> Tha vibe wit tha beat’s too mainstream/Lil’ Wayne, here; not sure if I’ll have interest in dis… Tha rappin’ sounds a lil’ interestin’ and iz not bad, overall…; lol @ tha catchy hook, too… My Rating: 3.2

19. Bengie B & Gangsta “I Go Hard”
Lookin’ forward to tha switch-up, finally! >>> Good beat and great content! Tha two of them do a great job together! My Rating: 4.1

20. T-Bo “Once A Thug”
Ooh… >>> LOL @ tha start wit tha “saggin’;” Gutta-Bo, lol! Damn, tha hook spoiled it; didn’t realize this was years old, lol. My Current Rating: 4.3

21. Romeo “Make It Rain”
>>> Why in tha fuck did DatPiff not remove dis? :confused Extremely low interest fa dis; I’ll just skip! My Rating: 1.0

22. Romeo Feat. Black Don & K-Smith “Go Get It”
Damn, I thought this was Black Don’s song? Didn’t see tha Romeo fa a second, smh. >>> Sounds a lil’ betta, luckily; at least there’s some energy in tha verses. My Rating: 2.9

23. Romeo Feat. K-Smith & Black Don “Way Too Long”
Now, tha “too” iz spelled incorrectly; this iz tha 2nd DatPiff-removed song on here. >>> ROFL @ this bein’ removed; doesn’t sound like somethin’ dat would! I’m feelin’ tha gutta side wit tha rappin’; glad tha mixtape came back ta life! My Rating: 4.2

24. Romeo “21-Years-Old”
I feel like he’s older, now… >>> Bad beat and I’m barely interested in this song, itself. My Rating: 1.8

25. T-Bo Feat. Bengie B & Gangsta “No Limit 4 Eva”
This iz tha official last song on this mixtape; let’s see how good we gon end it! >>> Not tha kinda beat or start I wanted ta hear but lol, great story from T-Bo on tha intro. Tha hook sounds much betta; sounds like an anthem, here. Good rhymes and delivery, luckily, from T-Bo; thumbs up. Here comes tha combo of Bengie B & Gangsta; gotta feel dem! My Rating: 3.6

Overall: Damn, tha 2nd ½ really took a toll down! :( At least tha 1st ½ had me more in-tune, especially tha Meek Mill collab! I wish dat would’ve been my top-rated song, if it wasn’t for Romeo’s wack 1st verse.
