Anotha review!!! Dis my 8th one for today and it’s only tha 5 PM hour!!! Here goes my review for Joey Queans “Summer Sunshades (The Mixtape)”! Too bad Winter’s tomorrow, smh. Start Time: 5:50 PM | End Time: 6:43 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

Shit yea! Let’s begin! >>> I heard dis beat before; how will you handle it? This sounds REAL NICE wit you just goin’ off on it!! CRAZY 1st verse here; REALLY goin’ off!!! Tha 2nd verse iz also REAL NICE!!! My Rating: 4.6


02. “Super Star” (Gunz Feat. Joey Queans)
LOL, you’re on tha feature? >>> Ooh, tha Robert Miles “Children” rhythm beat!! You sound pretty good on dis shit! Gunz (whoeva dat iz) creatin’ a catchy song here… Dis must be you on tha 2nd verse ‘cause of your guttaness! Good collab right chea! My Rating: 4.2


03. “Wuzzam” Feat. Tyger
>>> LOL, jammin’ beat here! Tha hook’s pretty tight wit tha “holla at a nigga, bitch” shit! Oh, it sounds even betta wit tha title part! Good shit on tha 1st verse; keepin’ dis thang consistent!! Tha 2nd verse iz also very consistent; these rhymes are DEFINITELY what’s up!!! My Rating: 4.5


04. “The Things You Do”
Alternative title called “Ruff About You” on tha mp3 info. I dunno what dis gon sound like… >>> This sounds nothin’ like anything I’d get excited about. I must say dat your rhymes are pretty interestin’—on a 21+ year-old level, which iz good. Too bad dis iz close ta four minutes long; a lil’ too long for a slow song? My Rating: 3.1


05. “Switch” (Tyger)
How will Tyger do solo? >>> Sounds like it gon be pretty hot. This iz a gurl, roarin’ like a tiger, lol! Cool wit tha consistency but tha flow sounds like Wayne so dat’s a lil’ bit of a minus… Did I hear a shout out ta “DJ Jubilee”? I hear somethin’-jubilee, lol. Regardless of it jackin’ any flow, it’s good fa what it iz; a jam iz a jam. My Rating: 3.7


06. “Let’s Go To Work” Feat. Tyger
Now, it’s a collaboration, lol… >>> Sounds pretty good; sounds like a trap anthem wit tha beat. Ooh, you’re soundin’ pretty nice wit tha “bag” shit in tha beginning of tha 1st verse! LOL, she’s keepin’ tha “trap” theme goin’ wit tha 2nd verse; good shit, Tyger! Back to you on tha 3rd verse, keepin’ tha flow catchy and tha rhymes goin’! My Rating: 4.0


07. “Baaaang” Feat. T-Man
LOL! >>> Tha beat iz cool here; you got a good ear fa beats, too! Tha hook sounds, like, a Chopper City-type hook; dumb shit! Tha hook’s DEFINITELY on a gangsta tip; gotta feel it! REALLY feelin’ tha attitude in tha 1st verse!! It’s all about showin’ dat TOUGH side!!! Tha 2nd verse also doin’ tha damn thang on dis shit right chea! ROFL @ all tha “fucks” in tha beginning of tha 3rd verse! This DEFINITELY iz official!! My Rating: 4.5


½time: GR8, 4.1-rated CD so far!! Let’s keep dis shit on ‘n’ poppin’ ‘cause you DEFINITELY got shit on lock!!


08. “Can’t Get Enuff” Feat. B.Streezy
>>> What’s this shit? Weird-ass-soundin’ hook… I don’t really have interest in this kinda shit. Tha “fall in love” part sounds like Brooke Hogan’s “Falling” song, which iz prolly tha only somewhat-interestin’ thing that caught my attention. My Rating: 2.4


09. “Whole Wad Of Cash”
Tha “W” iz missin’ in “hole”, lol… You really don’t want a “hole” in your “wad of cash”, lol? >>> This iz decent; back to tha good street anthems… Tha hook sounds cool; good shit… Nice job on tha verses, as you have a cool flow on dis shit. My Rating: 3.9


10. “Super Models”
How will dis one go? >>> Thought this would be a lil’ faster like 9th Ward’s “Supermodel” song from a few years ago. However, this shit sounds pretty good; it’s all about tha catchiness. I feel like dis could be a mainstream single or somethin’… My Rating: 3.8


11. “Good Love Hotline”
>>> My mind went to Sheek Louch “Good Love” but I didn’t wanna focus on jacked beats; it sounds worse wit this Trey Songz-soundin’ song… Clean version? I’m likin’ some of tha lyrics here, though… My Rating: 2.8


12. “Haters I’m Hea”
LOL @ tha “Hea”. If there was an “R” at tha end, it would be wrong so good thing it’s slang/cut-off! >>> What a beat start! Tha hook’s kinda stale fa me; not likin’ these pre-made hooks… Tha rhymes are pretty good… Some of it iz kinda typical but I guess that’s what happens when there are “haters” around, lol. I like dat “erase dat, we be deletin’” part. My Rating: 3.6


13. “Twit Pic” Feat. Tyger & J.C.
This looks hella gay; let’s see if I’m right. >>> Yea, pretty bad intro. Why tha anthematic, “My Hood”-rhythmic-type beat? This iz nothin’ ta be happy about! My Rating: 1.3


14. “I’ma Be The Man”
>>> Sounds pretty good for an ending song. Okay, tha hook’s soundin’ pretty cool now dat I’m hearin’ it fa tha 2nd time. Tha verses are pretty good, too… Sounds like, what was, a good, end-of-Summer-type song. My Rating: 4.0


Overall: You did a GR8 job in tha beginning. However, mostly all tha 2nd ½ was either decent or garbage for me. Anyway, keep dat gutta, street shit comin’!!
