Havin’ my anticipation up fa tha next review, my next review iz G.A.C. (Guilty As Charged) “The Album “G.A.C. Inmate””; REALLY lookin’ forward!! Swampthang Records in tha buildin’! Start Time: 9:14 PM | End Time: 10:12 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

Tha title track right chea; let’s see what’s good! >>> Ooh, “bruh” was said in tha very 1st second; good shit! This beat’s DEFINITELY GOOD G-Funk right chea and I’m really inta how tha dude sounds on tha 1st verse here! I’m hearin’ tha hook now and it sounds like some good, gangsta shit! Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ good; really feelin’ how y’all comin’ through as a group! Ooh, tha dude from tha 1st verse’s on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse! Good shit to tha fullest right chea! There’s a female before tha 3rd verse? LOL, she ain’t rappin’; someone else iz, doin’ tha damn thang here! My Rating: 4.4


03. “The Plot” Feat. The Darranger
What’ll this one be like? >>> Your intro ta dis iz pretty interestin’ wit “it’s hard ta live in American if you black;” real shit… Tha beat sounds REAL HOT here; doin’ tha damn thang on these G-Funk beats!! I’m likin’ how tha 1st verse’s soundin’; “torchin’” rhymes!! Tha hook iz more samples, lol? Tha 2nd verse sounds like it’s bein’ delivered real nice here; gr8 voices ta hold dis shit down! LOL, sounds like a kid on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse? Pretty interestin’ future here; motivational wit tha “goin’ ta school” shit! My Rating: 4.5


04. “Mr. Death” Feat. Infinity
Looks personal; lemme see what’s up wit it… >>> Pretty slow on tha beat start so far. Tha 1st verse’s only average for me; I can’t really comment on it… Tha hook wit tha singin’ actually iz pretty good and catchy fa dis. Tha 2nd verse was again, aight… Maybe a lil’ betta… Tha 3rd verse sounds like it’s bringin’ some good shit ta rap about when it comes ta dis real-life shit. My Rating: 3.3


05. “The Dope”
Looks real good on tha title here so let’s see what comes outta y’all! >>> Interestin’ 90’s start… Tha 1st verse’s not bad… A lil’ betta than tha last song though. There’s no hook, lol? Just a beat… Tha 2nd verse sounds like it’s startin’ off betta wit “sellin’ dope on tha cornaz;” good, street shit! Tha 3rd verse’s addin’ a lil’ bit of catchiness in tha way tha rhymes are delivered. My Rating: 3.9


06. “If I Got To Die” Feat. Shank
Looks good on tha ID once again… >>> Cool, catchy beat start this time. Good, street shit bein’ spit in tha 1st verse; tha hook sounds pretty good too… Tha 2nd verse sounds good too; nice job on tha collaboration here. Also, thumbs up once again to tha content; it’s real shit! Tha 3rd verse gets a plus on dis too… My Rating: 4.2


07. “Swampthang (It’s Party)”
What’ll this be like fa 5:55? >>> A lil’ bit of DJin’ in tha beginning… Nice lil’ intro and this shit sounds a lil’ like some West Coast-type shit. Glad y’all havin’ fun for tha 1st verse here… Tha hook says it all: “it’s a party;” good feelin’… Tha 2nd and 3rd verses were good ta hear on dis ta contribute to tha “party,” ya dig… LOL, tha beat’s fadin’ out @ :50; that’s how long tha fade-out iz? My Rating: 3.8


½time: I thought this would be a lil’ betta but it still sounds good for a CD since tha average CD rating’s at 4.0 right now.


08. “No Playerhaters Allowed” Feat. Infinity
Interestin’… Let’s see how it sounds! >>> Cool beat start fa me here and it’s gettin’ betta @ :13! Tha start to tha 1st verse sounds REAL good wit tha “stickin’ yo head in anotha nigga ta up your status” line (or whateva it iz); good shit! Overall, tha 1st verse was pretty interestin’ wit tha two dudes! Tha hook sounds GR8; luvin’ this title!! Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ good for a start… Interestin’ street shit right chea! Tha 2nd part of tha 2nd verse sounds good also; keep this alternation up! Ooh, even more: a 3rd part! My Rating: 4.3


09. “Life Of A G”
G-Funk/Gangsta style I can picture… >>> Tha beat iz like a G-Funk sound here and tha 1st verse sounds like some good shit you can listen to… Tha hook sounds good; basically, “G’s and hustlaz,” lol! Nice job wit tha 2nd verse too… It’s all about keepin’ it consistent for tha sound! Tha 3rd verse’s keepin’ tha feelin’ up so dat’s good… My Rating: 4.0


10. “Silver Spoon”
Let’s see what dis iz about… >>> G-Funk style once again for tha start. Ooh, tha vocals are more wit an attitude here; good shit! Oh, tha hook’s more about strugglin’; not bein’ raised “wit a silver spoon in a mouth.” Pretty rough… At least your attitude’s helpin’ on these verses ‘cause they’re addin’ attention! Tha 3rd verse was aight on dis shit but iz keepin’ tha perspective up… I like tha “roll wit dis or get ran ova” part. My boy Young Trayne had a near-similar line as he used it for his title, “Roll Or Get Rolled Over”; good shit! My Rating: 4.1


11. “No Peace”
Looks like more “comin’ from tha struggle” music. >>> Still comin’ through wit tha good G-Funk beats. Tha 1st verse sounds good and has meanin’ behind it… Tha hook sounds good; feels like an anthem by tha way it’s bein’ presented! Tha 2nd verse’s good too; keep this shit up wit tha content! Tha 3rd verse’s doin’ tha damn thang, expressin’ what’s good wit “havin’ no peace!” My Rating: 4.3


12. “Love A G” Feat. Shawn Gilbert
Ova five minutes? Let’s see… >>> Slow, G-Funk style and it sounds like a gurl on tha hook? Tha 1st verse’s okay fa this kinda song; it fits… Tha 2nd verse sounds more catchy here; I’m likin’ tha delivery and tha voice! Tha 3rd verse fits this joint too… Pretty good for a relaxin’ joint. My Rating: 3.9

Overall: I think this iz a good CD although I expected betta. Y’all doin’ ya thang and I give y’all props; keep it up!
