Reviewed on 6.16.2010 (Review #530)
From one MC to anotha! Here’s my 4th review for today: M.C. Spud “Undertaker”! He was featured on tha last CD I reviewed (M.C. Spade “You Betta Reconize”) so I’m sure he’s got a lot ta say!! Start Time: 12:59 PM | End Time: 1:30 PM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Intro”
Let’s hear what you got ta say! >>> Typical beat start dat I always hear. LOL, dis sounds like it gon be some good-ass Bounce—tha CD I’m talkin’ ‘bout, lol. My Rating: 4.0
02. “Let Me Get That Outcha”
Just like tha Cheeky Blakk CD, let’s see what you got! >>> Ooh, I’m feelin’ dis!! I like how tha beat’s real gutta and tha hook’s catchy wit deliverin’ tha title fast! Tha 1st verse’s str8 gangsta to tha fullest! LOL, it was like four bars and then, it sounded like someone else? What’s goin’ on here, lol? Tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse sounded pretty good; almost sounded like a white rapper? Tha same dude’s on tha start to tha 2nd verse here… Not bad but it sounds betta wit tha otha dude on tha 2nd ½ of it… This iz pretty interestin’ wit this mix in tha verses… Tha start to tha 3rd verse’s “all about dat paper!” Pretty good verse and song itself. My Rating: 4.4
03. “Be Home In A Minute”
Where are you, lol? >>> Tha beat’s pretty good; slow vibe but upbeat… Tha 1st verse’s interestin’ wit tha lyrics you be deliverin’… Tha hook says it all… Tha 2nd verse’s interestin’ for tha hoods; gotta be alert at all times! Tha 3rd verse sounds like you’re dealin’ wit some jail-people stress. Yea, “they’ll be home in a minute;” I agree! My Rating: 4.1
04. “Dueces”
Lemme hear. >>> Tha beat start sounds cool… Good, gangsta-type beat for tha 90’s! You’re spittin’ dat good G-shit for tha 1st verse too! Fuck those dat can’t appreciate chu, ya dig! I agree wit how you’re comin’ wit tha 1st verse! Tha hook iz self-explanatory also… Tha 2nd verse sounds good; you’re doin’ ya thang here! Tha 3rd verse’s hood shit wit your mind! You have tha mind of a street dude, doin’ tha damn thang! My Rating: 4.0
½time: This iz a pretty good CD so far; you doin’ ya thang! Tha average CD rating’s currently at 4.1!
05. “Undertaker (Club)”
Let’s see dis version (iz there a radio version at tha end?)! >>> LOL, Bounce beat and you sound like you gon do ya thang here! Tha beat’s cool and so iz tha hook… LOL, mixin’? Yea, this iz like a mix of beats goin’ on here for tha 90’s… Pretty good 1st verse here… You really supplyin’ tha streetz wit some good shit! Tha 2nd verse’s aight… You doin’ ya thang, regardless of what you say… Tha 3rd verse ain’t dat bad too… My Rating: 3.9
06. “Gangsta Goin’ Mad”
ROFL @ tha title!! Gotta respect it though ‘cause it might get rough!! >> Tha beat has a G-Funk sound for you and you spittin’ some pretty good hood shit. However, add some anger to it since you’re “goin’ mad,” ya dig, lol! You’re a heavy smoka here on tha 1st verse; I feel ya. Tha hook’s pretty good; “gangsta tales” to tha fullest!! Tha 2nd verse sounds good wit how you holdin’ it down fa these “gangstas!” Keepin’ it goin’, you doin’ ya thang on tha 3rd verse too… My Rating: 4.2
07. “Creepin’ Hoes & Niggas” Feat. Cheeky Blakk
Let’s see what we got here! >>> LOL, we got a Bounce beat and Cheeky Blakk on tha feature!! You had her title and now, here she iz, lol!! She sounds GR8 and you sound GR8 wit her in tha beginning!! Nice job wit tha beginning, 1st verse and hook wit tha both of y’all combined! She’s soundin’ good on tha 2nd verse here, just doin’ her thang! Ooh, she’s addin’ some TLC “Creep” in her vocals here as she sampled it afta tha 2nd verse! My Rating: 4.3
08. “Undertaker (Mellow)”
A “mellow” version, lol? >>> Not exactly slow but it sounds betta ‘cause it ain’t mixed. Tha verses are still good here… Tha hook definitely iz hot, ya dig! LOL, outta nowhere at 1:40, there’s mixin’? Well, this iz acceptable… LOL, it turned into tha Bounce “dunn-dunn-dunn-dunn” sound! LOL @ tha “open it up, chop it up, snort it up, my nigga!!” part; good shit! You did ya thang wit tha rest of it too! My Rating: 4.3
Overall: Did a NICE job right chea, Spud!! Keep up tha GR8 work fa tha N.O. and keep doin’ ya thang! I LUV my undaground Louisiana Rap music!!!
