Keepin’ dis thang goin’… My 5th review for today iz Master P “Ice Cream Man”! Tha longest CD in my marathon so far, clockin’ at 1:19:16!! Start Time: 3:05 PM | End Time: 4:29 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

What’s up, P? >>> Why do you call yourself “Ice Cream Man?” Just wonderin’… A lil’ long for an intro but you have shit ta say. “King George no longer wit tha crew?” What happened? I like tha endin’ wit tha “smokin’ jointz!” My Rating: N/A


02. “Mr. Ice Cream Man” Feat. Silkk The Shocker
Let’s see what’s up. >>> LOL, sounds video-gameish wit tha “ice cream” beat! Tha hook’s cool wit tha gurl on it too… Tha 1st verse sounds like you comin’ through wit some “paranoid”-type street rhymes. Tha 2nd verse’s really about deliverin’ tha “ice cream,” lol! Tha 1st ½ of tha 3rd verse sounded pretty good for a collaboration and then, you hopped onto tha short 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse… My Rating: 4.0


03. “Time For A 187”
How will this sound? Again, anotha “187” title, lol! >>> Ooh, tha beat’s cool here and you sound pretty energetic on tha 1st verse, lol. Tha hook sounds good; I like how you make it sound and make it catchy. Tha 2nd verse’s pretty interestin’ fa those dat shouldn’t be fuckin’ wit you. Tha 3rd verse’s pretty gutta and it’s not stoppin’, lol! My Rating: 4.2


04. “½ On A Bag Of Dank”
WHOA @ tha title!!! >>> Shit, yea, this DEFINITELY’s a good look although it seems odd ta see you smokin’ kush. I guess ‘cause you’re in your 40’s now? Good shit here although you prolly could’ve had a feature… ROFL @ “I wonder if they have dank in heaven. ‘Cause if they do, then I’ll prolly catch a fuckin’ 211!” Dope shit!! Tha hook sounds pretty dope, ya dig! Tha 2nd verse’s good also wit how you comin’ through for dis “dank,” lol! My Rating: 4.7


05. “Break ‘Em Off Somethin’” Feat. UGK
Looks like it gon be a good collab! >>> Sounds good wit tha beat; Southern shit to tha fullest!! Sounds like you’re comin’ through wit some shit Mystikal would come through wit on tha 1st verse; good job!! Tha hook’s pretty cool; tha title explains it… Tha 2nd verse’s Pimp C and he sounds good ta collab wit! Tha 3rd verse’s from Bun B and he doin’ his thang wit dis verse! Good shit and I like how he randomly said, “bruh,” too… My Rating: 4.3


06. “How G’s Ride” Feat. Silkk The Shocker & Big Ed
This looks like it’ll be a TIGHT joint!! >>> Tha beat’s cool and I’m likin’ this hook; good-ass shit!! Tha 1st verse sounds good from you; you holdin’ it down in tha whip! Tha 2nd verse iz from Silkk The Shocker and it sounds good, yet, it was quick… Big Ed’s spittin’ some shit on tha 3rd verse and it’s also a good verse; y’all combine together! My Rating: 4.2


07. “No More Tears” Feat. Mo B Dick
What’ll this be like? >>> Ahh, a lil’ on tha slow tip… Tha 1st verse’s pretty personal for your mom and tha hook’s like white Soul to me… I liked tha end of it though. I like how you sound on tha 2nd verse; you have a GR8 flow on dis! Two verses iz tha fit size fa a kinda song like dis. My Rating: 3.8


08. “The Ghetto Won’t Change” Feat. Mo B Dick
Let’s see wit y’all on tha same track again… >>> This iz slow but I like how it sounds in tha beat! This iz pretty personal, ghetto style… Tha hook sounds like tha Simply Red song from tha 80’s wit “keep holdin’ on.” This iz pretty interestin’ for a slow song. Tha 2nd verse has more personal shit comin’ from you… My Rating: 4.0


09. “Playa From Around The Way” Feat. Silkk The Shocker & Mo B Dick
Let’s see dis joint. >>> Good lil’ intro… ROFL @ this; “my dick iz gettin’ hard ta where it gon pop outta socket?” LOL? My God, pretty gutta here wit tha content!! Dat singin’s DEFINITELY on point fa dis!! Tha hook’s cool and tha 2nd verse has more singin’… You’re bustin’ in tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse, just really comin’ through wit a gutta voice and your drug-related lyrics. DEFINITELY some good shit from you!! Silkk must be right afta you, tryna grind! Tha 3rd verse’s not bad from you; you still holdin’ dis track down! “In tha hood like ice cream;” of course, lol! My Rating: 4.4

10. “Sellin’ Ice Cream” Feat. Mo B Dick
ROFL @ your “ice cream” songs! >>> Sounds good wit tha singin’ and this beat so far; keep these tracks up! Tha 1st verse sounds like tha “ice cream” iz tha drugs, lol! Tha 2nd verse sounds cool also wit your “sellin’ ice cream” shit; good shit… And in conclusion, “ice cream iz anything you can make profit off of,” lol! My Rating: 4.3


11. “Time To Check My Crackhouse”
LOL! >>> This iz pretty good wit tha beat and how you’re comin’ through on tha hook!! Tha 1st verse’s soundin’ good; you comin’ through hard on tha track!! Good job wit tha 1st verse once again! You really doin’ ya thang here! Let’s see what tha 2nd verse has ta offer… Pretty street wit tha lyrics; good shit here!! My Rating: 4.6


12. “‘Bout It, ‘Bout It II” Feat. Mia X
I heard Part 1 so let’s see Part 2; I gotta see tha differences… >>> Kinda hard ta tell but this iz classic… if you wanna call it dat. Sounds kinda long afta tha 1st verse wit err-body “‘bout it, ‘bout it,” lol. Music Choice Throwback Jamz LUVS this song!! Good job from Mia X on tha collab… LOL, it’s like a shout out list at tha end… My Rating: 4.2


13. “Back Up Off Me”
Looks good on tha title so let’s see where your attitude comes inta play! >>> Good length of ova five minutes and it sounds like you’re focused on dis joint! Tha beat sounds like “‘Bout It, ‘Bout It” a lil’ bit and you sound pretty good in tha beginning… There must be a feature on tha 1st verse; sounds good! I think they said, “TRU,” so I’ll put them as tha feature. Neva mind, it sounds like it’s you tha whole way. It’s just, your voice iz more gutta here… Tha 2nd verse sounded good and tha 3rd verse’s good too… You’re really keepin’ it consistent wit how you’re deliverin’ these rhymes! My Rating: 4.2


14. “Never Ending Game”
Let’s hear what dis one gon sound like. >>> Tha beat ain’t dat bad for a somewhat slow one. Tha 1st verse sounds like it goes hard wit tha way tha lyrics are spit! Tha hook sounds strong; good content for tha hood! Tha 2nd verse sounds good here… Really gutta to tha fullest wit all these personal hood lyrics!!! My Rating: 4.3


15. “Watch Dees Hoes” Feat. Mr. Serv-On, Tre-8, Silkk The Shocker & Mo B Dick
REAL GR8 collab here so you know I gon look forward!!! >>> Tha beat’s cool and tha hook sounds like it’s tryna sample somethin’ wit tha singin’… Anyway, tha 1st verse from you sounds pretty good wit tha topic here. Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty good and did a good job quickly… Tha 3rd verse iz only off to an okay start fa me… Tha 4th verse sounds focused, lol… My Rating: 3.7


16. “‘Bout That Drama” Feat. Silkk The Shocker
Let’s see dis one… >>> Okay, this iz betta; I like tha soundin’ here. Silkk’s good ta collab wit here; he doin’ his thang! Tha 2nd verse sounds good once again… Sounds like a sequel to “‘Bout It, ‘Bout It,” lol? My Rating: 4.2


17. “Killer Pussy”
What’s good wit dis one? >>> Sounds like a scene goin’ on here… You sound funny on tha hook here… I guess ‘cause tha title’s pretty good. Tha 1st verse’s pretty good for this topic; you keepin’ it real wit tha rappin’. Tha rest of tha song keeps it goin’; good job for tha “killer pussy” you saw! My Rating: 4.1


18. “Things Ain’t What They Used To Be” Feat. Mo B Dick
Almost to tha ending here… >>> Sounds like a good hood song fa what be goin’ on once again. Tha beat’s G-Funky and tha hook sounds good again wit MBD on it. Tha 2nd verse iz you “stayin’ TRU to tha game,” lol! Tha 3rd verse also’s keepin’ it real… My Rating: 3.6


19. “My Ghetto Heroes” Feat. Skull Duggery
Time ta end it… wit a GR8 collaboration!!! >>> Sounds good for tha beat start; looks like dis one gon go hard… Tha 1st verse iz aight from you wit tha flow but you’re keepin’ it real fa err-body in your hood. Skull Duggery’s on tha 2nd verse and he spittin’ some real-ass shit!! “A hero ain’t your rabbit’s foot or four-leaf clover;” most definitely!! Glad you collaborated wit him!! You’re followin’ him on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse here… Good shout outs at tha end too, ya dig. My Rating: 4.0


Overall: Of course, it turned out ta be a GR8 CD, ya dig! Nice job, P! I give a mega thumbs up ta your collaborations and producers; they did a NICE job!! Keep up tha GR8 work, ya dig!
