Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Money”
Startin’ off wit a typical topic. However, let’s see how y’all’ll put it down! >>> Tha beginning’s pretty smooth here wit tha beat. Ooh, tha hook sounds REAL HOT wit tha “smokin’ on a pound” part!! Y’all DEFINITELY doin’ ya thang here…!! Tha 1st verse sounds good, holdin’ down this laidback, G-Funk, undaground Louisiana Rap shit!! Tha 2nd verse sounds like it’s holdin’ it down fa music itself, lol. My Rating: 4.3


02. “Big Balla”
I like dis title; how will y’all sound? >>> Anotha laidback sound here. Tha 1st verse sounds catchy wit tha lyrics. Tha hook sounds cool; I like tha singin’ of tha title, lol. Tha 2nd verse sounds good wit holdin’ tha sound down, ya dig. “Remix?” This iz really a “remix?” I dunno… But, tha 3rd verse sounds GR8 wit this dude from tha Swamp Click on it! Gr8 representin’ lyrics here… Glad y’all “smoke” good on tha outro; luv y’all! My Rating: 4.3

A skit? >>> LOL, it iz and it sounds like a slowly fadin’-in intro… Sounds like snitches… Interestin’ skit. My Rating: N/A


04. “Player Haters”
Let’s hear how tha anger comes out! >>> Shit, yea, some anger comin’ outta tha intro!! Tha beat’s pretty gutta too!! I thought tha sounds reminded me of tha Mystikal “Here I Go” beat for a second… Tha 1st verse sounds like it gon be a gangsta scene! Tha hook iz DEFINITELY gangsta wit tha shootin’! Shit, yea, “a lyrical driveby” on tha 2nd verse! REAL GOOD shit comin’ outta this verse! Tha 3rd verse iz areas fulla “haters” everywhere! I like tha talkin’ on tha outro here… My Rating: 4.2


05. Player Hater Rehab
LOL, I thought it was tha same title for a second but it’s a “rehab” from tha last joint! >>> Lots of “Player Hater Rehab” calls… Weird, lol. My Rating: N/A


06. “Sorry”
Not sure if I’ll like dis wit a title like dis… >>> Kinda weird for a start; tha hook has singin’ in it so I dunno how good dis iz… Tha 1st verse iz “sorry” fa what’s goin’ on. Tha 2nd verse has a betta flow but it ain’t for me. I like tha personal, real-life shit that’s bein’ spit though. Tha 3rd verse iz personal too. Okay, okay @ tha long-ass ending! My Rating: 2.2


½time: Tha previous joint kinda knocked tha average CD rating down to a 3.8 but don’t worry… I know y’all’ll get dat rating back up! It’s just, dat song wasn’t for me. But, keep doin’ ya thang!

08. “The American Way”
5:43 on tha length so let’s see… >>> Slow start. No comment yet but tha 1st verse’s pretty good wit tha hood lyrics. I just wish this was a lil’ catchier… Tha beat has a G-Funk feel to it… Tha hook’s a lil’ dry wit tha singer…; kinda boring. No comment on tha 2nd verse either… I guess I’ll just wait ‘til tha next 3:09… Tha 3rd verse has real good lyrical content but it’s not for me. Tha 4th verse also’s a lil’ ehh… My Rating: 2.4


09. “In The Studio (A Taste Of Gumbo)”
Hope this iz betta… >>> Tha beat’s pretty smooth. Tha intro was like 1:05. Damn, a talkin’ intro to tha song just came outta nowhere! Now, I hear tha real beat and it sounds pretty good! “Hype shit?” I hope so!! Tha 1st verse sounds pretty gutta here wit tha perspectives wit thangz; good shit! There’s anotha part to tha 1st verse here and it sounds GR8; “soldja” shit! Nice job deliverin’ dat part of tha 1st verse!! Here’s tha 3rd part of tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ good once again!! LOL, here’s a lady on tha 4th part, doin’ her thang too! LOL @ tha endin’ wit “we don’t give a fuckin’ shit!” Good-ass shit!! My Rating: 4.5


10. “SC”
A self-titled joint? Let’s see how good it iz!! >>> Tha beat sounds good… REALLY reppin’ “SC” to tha fullest in tha hook here; good-ass shit once again!! Tha 1st verse sounds like it’s tryin’ ta make people be addictive to these rhymes; very consistent!! Anotha joint wit consistent verses… Tha 2nd part of tha 1st verse’s soundin’ good wit holdin’ “SC” down! Here’s tha 3rd part of tha 1st verse already and it’s soundin’ good, “passin’ tha ‘gar!” I hear tha hook and once again, good shit! Tha 2nd verse sounds good; feelin’ how y’all comin’ through wit representin’ for tha “click!” Tha 2nd part of tha 2nd verse iz all about tha “kapa”s to tha fullest, doin’ “buku” thangz! Here’s tha 3rd part of tha 2nd verse and it’s pretty interestin’ fa tha hood here when it comes ta encounterin’! My Rating: 4.3


11. Shoutz Out
Oh, tha “shoutz” already? So, tha last two jointz must be radio edits? >>> Tha beat’s pretty smooth here. I’m lookin’ forward ta hearin’ y’all shout people out! Good shit… I like how tha 2nd dude sounds. My Rating: N/A


12. “American Way (Instrumental)”
LOL, this has an instrumental? LOL… It doesn’t bad for a song now dat I’m hearin’ tha beat alone. See #8 fa tha review!


13. “Sorry (Instrumental)”
Damn, this one too? Why tha low-rated songs gettin’ instrumentals, yet, this one havin’ tha horrible hook? See #6 fa tha review!


Overall: This CD was pretty good. Two jointz weren’t for me so it kinda knocked tha average CD rating a lil’ bit. But, I enjoy y’all and I want y’all ta keep doin’ ya thang!!
