Reviewed on 6.16.2010 (Review #532)
Dis shit’s gotta continue!! Up next, it’s MC Thick “Now Whatcha Think”! Wit 16 jointz, I seem ta be lookin’ forward!! Start Time: 5:09 PM | End Time: 6:10 PM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. Intro
I’m lookin’ forward ta hearin’ what you got! >>> It sounds like you REALLY gon do ya thang on dis shit!! I’m DEFINITELY lookin’ forward!! My Rating: N/A
02. “Step Into The Square” Feat. George Clinton
Looks interestin’ on tha ID so let’s see… >>> Pretty good G-Funk beat ta start thangz off! You’re also “comin’” through pretty good on tha 1st verse; “eat ‘em up like weed sticks!” Damn, dat was a quick 1st verse? Tha hook’s good; nothin’s really in it… Tha 2nd verse sounds like you gettin’ focused. “Lyrics as hard as an erection;” ROFL!! Tha 3rd verse sounds like you focused once again fa people; good shit… My Rating: 3.9
03. “I Got Mine” Feat. Tim Smooth
You got tha boy Smooth on here, I see. Let’s see what’s good wit it! >>> Interestin’ beat intro… Sounds good once you start rappin’, ya dig! You “a classic like Winnie The Pooh?” LOL… Good job wit tha 1st verse and tha hook’s cool too; I like tha soundin’ here. Shit yea, Smooth doin’ his thang on tha 2nd verse here! He really holdin’ down this hood shit!! Tha 3rd verse sounds good wit you doin’ ya thang here. My Rating: 4.3
04. “Leather And Wood”
Dat’s dat shit dat makes your car feel good, lol… >>> Pretty laidback here and you sound good in tha beginning here; “what more could you ask for,” lol… Tha hook’s pretty good here; smooth shit… Tha 2nd verse’s pretty good too like tha hook. Tha 3rd verse’s not bad but it’s pretty short, lol? I guess ‘cause tha song’s endin’… My Rating: 4.0
05. “Puffin’ On Sticky” Feat. George Clinton
I’m likin’ tha title here so you know you gon do ya thang on it!! >>> Anotha laidback feelin’ here so let’s see what’s good wit tha rhymes… Not bad start fa tha 1st verse here. Sounds betta at ‘round :46 wit tha “gettin’ ready ta roll up” shit, ya dig! Nice job wit tha verse and tha hook’s pretty good fa dis laidback feelin’. Tha 2nd verse sounds like you’re in tha mood now; thumbs up! Luv tha coughin’/chokin’ @ 2:21!! Tha 2nd hook sounds pretty emotional for tha “sticky,” lol! LOL, only two verses? Tha ending sounds kinda long… My Rating: 4.2
06. “Jump Up” Feat. Papa Reu
Looks good on tha ID; should be interestin’! >>> LOL, tha beat’s kinda slow here and tha Papa Reu dude’s in tha beginning wit his Jamaican accent. He’s even in tha hook and it sounds like it doesn’t fit? So far, this iz aight; I gotta get used ta it… Huh, what’s up wit all tha wasted time here? It’s like 1:30+ a beat outro? My Rating: 3.1
07. “36 OZ”
This iz a good title so let’s see what’s up! >>> No intro needed; tha sample for tha hook holds it down fa tha “streetz!” Tha 1st verse sounds good wit how you’re holdin’ it down fa tha streetz! ROFL, you said, “cunts;” 1st rapper I heard say dat word!! Wit tha remainder of tha 2nd verse, it sounded pretty good… Tha 3rd verse sounds like you’re REALLY motivated wit how you’re comin’ through fa tha street content! JUST LUVIN’ DAT HOOK!!! Sounds like Pimp C! My Rating: 4.7
08. “I’m A Baller”
Let’s hear how you are. >>> Tha beat’s pretty cool, G-Funk style. Tha 1st verse sounds good wit you keepin’ it real, ya dig! Tha hook’s pretty cool too for tha title and tha content, especially at tha end wit tha attitude. Ooh, a phone call afta tha hook; interestin’ shit! Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty good wit tha content for tha hood once again! My Rating: 4.2
½time: Pretty good lil’ CD from you, big dawg! Keep doin’ tha damn thang; 4.1 average CD rating so far!
09. “Crowd Or A Quarter”
This iz a good title! Let’s see… >>> I’m likin’ tha smooth beat and tha beginning sounds pretty good wit tha “needin’ a volume!” Tha 1st verse’s cool wit what you spittin’; not bad. LOL, tha hook’s just tha title said 1-2x and just a beat, lol? Tha 2nd verse ain’t dat bad; I expected a lil’ betta from dis one… I thought there would be more gutta street content. My Rating: 3.7
10. “Gappin’”
Let’s see what’s good wit dis… >>> Anotha smooth beat fa me. Tha 1st verse ain’t dat bad fa me… Tha content’s pretty good so I gotta adjust ta dis and see what more you got ta say. Tha hook ain’t bad either… Sounds like anotha decent song fa me. Tha 2nd verse’s not bad… I don’t have much ta say about this song. Now, I’m hearin’ tha hook betta and it’s more on tha street tip wit tha “rocks” and shit; definite plus!! Tha 3rd verse has a good start; I’m likin’ what you bringin’ ta tha table wit tha 3rd verse! Good, street shit here… My Rating: 3.8
11. “Heavy Weights” Feat. Bun B
Yea, you got Bun B on tha feature!! >>> Shit, yea, this iz soundin’ pretty anticipatin’ for a start! I like how Bun’s holdin’ tha beginning down wit this cool beat! Shit, yea, he’s on tha 1st verse too!! He just sounds GR8 fa tha older dayz!! Damn, he just keeps it comin’!! Good-ass shit from B!! Tha hook sounds cool wit this kick-ass beat!! Y’all sound GR8, tha both of y’all, on tha hook!! Tha lil’ breakdown from Bun was cool; got me anticipated fa tha next verse! You sound GR8 tha way you’re deliverin’ dis shit, ya dig! My Rating: 4.5
12. “Chain Reaction” Feat. Graphics - Scientific Kinetic Big 6 N Los
Let’s see how good this iz. I dunno how ta list tha featured artist. I just listed it how it looked on tha filename. >>> Tha beat’s aight and tha 1st verse’s pretty good; keepin’ it Southern here! Tha hook’s good wit tha way its vibe sounds… Tha 2nd verse’s good too… There’s anotha part of tha 2nd verse here and it sounds much betta; REALLY feelin’ tha way tha rhymes are rappin’ wit dis voice!!! LOL @ tha endin’ to tha 2nd verse wit tha “sprayin’,” lol! My Rating: 4.1
13. “They Told Me”
What’ll this be like? >>> A lil’ slower in tha vibe so I dunno how much I’ll be inta this… Tha beat does sound catchy at times (e.g., :38) and tha 1st verse sounds not bad wit tha rappin’; definite 90’s style here. Tha 2nd verse ain’t bad; I don’t have a comment. Tha 2nd hook sounds hot wit tha lady gettin’ emotional on tha mic! Tha 3rd verse sounds a lil’ betta though… My Rating: 3.2
14. “Now What You Think”
This iz like tha album title here so let’s see what you got. >>> Decent start so far… Nothin’ really ta say about dis; it doesn’t have a catchy sound in any way… ROFL @ tha 2nd verse wit tha “blunt/shut up you dumb cunt” rhyme; gutta shit!!! My Rating: 3.0
15. “Rest In Peace”
>>> Okay start here. You “swear on your nutsack” in tha 1st verse, ROFL! You’re pretty interestin’ wit your rhymes! Nothin’ much ta say about dis joint too… A long beat outro too? My Rating: 2.6
16. “Outro”
Let’s see what you got ta say… >>> There’s a beat here. Tha beat’s pretty good this time, lol.
Overall: Not bad of a CD. I think it was pretty good but I expected betta. Tha ending songs got a lil’ boring fa me… Keep doin’ ya thang though; I gotcha!
