Reviewed on 6.16.2010 (Review #533)
It’s time for my 7th review of tha day. This one iz Mobo Click “Brand New Funk”! There’s two sides ta this: Bounce Side (1st 11 songs) and Hustler Side (remainin’ nine songs); lookin’ forward! Start Time: 8:31 PM | End Time: 9:43 PM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

02. Death “Brand New Funk”
Iz this a compilation or somethin’? >>> Sounds good for tha start… Tha gurl dat randomly appears on dis iz pretty interestin’… Kinda a simple anthem for me; it always iz a plus though ta hear a Bounce song! My Rating: 3.8
03. Lil’ Goldie “Ya”
LOL! >>> LOL iz right @ tha Bounce sounds for tha start!! LOL, a bunch of “ya”in’, lol!! Basically, tha whole joint was pretty consistent wit tha “ya”in’; good job, Goldie! My Rating: 4.1

07. Lil’ Goldie “I Told Ya Straight Soldier”

08. Lil’ One “True Playa”
What Lil’ One iz this, lol? >>> It’s a gurl? LOL, pretty good so far on this Bounce-styled beat! Catchy song… My Rating: 3.9
09. Big Neub “Soldier”
LOL, anotha “Soldier” title? >>> ROFL, luv this consistent beat!! This anotha dude doin’ tha damn thang!! LOL @ tha “silly rabbit” quote near tha end! Good job, my dude! Ya HAD ta tease me wit dat “dunn-dunn-dunn-dunn” sound at tha end! My Rating: 4.0
10. Big Neub “Big Daddy”
LOL, he’s back again! >>> Interestin’ title and you’re DEFINITELY not inta “tricks,” lol! LOL @ tha “dick had ta rise” shit in this; hilarious!! Tha beat sounds HOT @ 3:53! This was a pretty catchy joint! My Rating: 3.9
½time: There’s one more “Bounce Side” song left so we’ll see what happens wit it. For now, tha whole thang iz consistent! I don’t really have much ta say ‘cause it’s nearly tha same sound but it’s DEFINITELY GR8!! Tha average CD rating’s at 4.1 and I’m glad y’all are alternatin’ wit songs!
11. Death “Put Them Guns Up”
Looks like a good title! >>> Shit, yea, good Bounce right chea wit a gangsta-ass style!! Nice job holdin’ tha whole song down! My Rating: 4.3
12. Commercial
Time ta transition… Tha average CD rating’s still tha same, regardless if ½time was here… >>> Sounds anticipatin’… Lookin’ forward ta hearin’ how GR8 this iz!! My Rating: N/A
13. Mobo Joe “Mobo Blunts”
Shit, yea!!! >>> This DEFINITELY iz an anthem!!! Already, tha 1st song on tha “Hustler Side” and it rates higher than all tha “Bounce Side” songs!! You REALLY holdin’ tha hook down here, Mobo Joe! LOL, tha beat’s like a Bounce beat but wit a real “hustla” topic!! It sounds kinda long; I wish more lyrics would come out fa somethin’ 4:20ish on tha length… My Rating: 4.5
14. Prelude
LOL, anotha intermission? Not many “Hustler Side” songs, lol? >>> Cool, I guess… Interestin’ scene dat sounds like tha TV. My Rating: N/A
15. Dog House Posse “Crome To Yo Dome”
DEFINITELY a gangsta-ass title here!!! >>> Neva heard dis one and it’s soundin’ pretty gangsta to tha fullest!! Finally, an actual song wit verses, lol!! Tha hook’s DEFINITELY gutta and tha 1st verse’s soundin’ pretty good; “smokin’ on blunts” and doin’ tha damn thang!! Tha 2nd verse’s real gangsta here; just luvin’ it!! I couldn’t’ve asked fa any HOTTER undaground music!!! Thumbs up wit tha “smokin’ blunt afta blunt” and tha “Girbauds” lines; good-ass shit!!! Tha 3rd verse’s pretty gangsta wit tha descriptive lyrics; luvin’ it!!! Not 100% sure if dat was like tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse but it still was GR8!!! My Rating: 4.8
16. Dog House Posse “Hustler”
ANOTHA new joint fa me ta hear!!! >>> Sounds pretty good wit tha G-Funk feelin’ in tha beat… “Polos, Girbauds!” Tha hook’s pretty cool; a lil’ short and simple but you KNOW tha “hustlaz” must luv it!! Speakin’ of luvin’, tha 2nd verse sounds pretty hot here wit tha contributin’ members!! REAL GR8 life-type street lyrics!!! DEFINITELY crazy lyrics in tha 3:00 area; tha whole minute!! My Rating: 4.5
17. Dog House Posse “Murder Tales”
DEFINITELY a GUTTA title!!! It’s ALSO a newbie!!! >>> Gutta-ass beat wit a length ova five minutes long!!! Tha 1st verse’s soundin’ GUTTA to tha bone wit this beat!!! Tha hook DEFINITELY makes dis tha BEST joint on this CD, EASILY!!! Gutta-ass shit to tha fullest here!!! I dunno how much more I can express it!!! Tha 2nd verse’s REAL strong wit tha lyrical content too!!! Even down ta tha screamin’ sounds @ 1:51!!! Tha 3rd verse’s REAL GUTTA once again!!! DEFINITELY ALL KINDS of gangsta attributes apply ta dis joint!!! Iz this just one member of Dog House Posse rappin’ dis? It’s REALLY consistent!!!!! You even have tha beat outro ta do it as well as there bein’ lightnin’ sound effects too at tha end!!! TOO PERFECT!!!!! My Rating: 5.0
18. Ricky B & Mannie Boo “I Ain’t Done Shit”
Let’s see what dis iz about! >>> Prepared-type “shit,” lol! Tha hook sounds cool and tha fade-in intro was weird. Tha 1st verse’s good wit dis shit; good-ass hood shit wit this good beat! Tha hook’s interestin’; definitely catchy ta satisfy me! Tha 2nd verse sounds good; hood “shit” in your 20’s! LOL, tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse sounded like it said, “Lady GaGa;” WHOA!!! It’s like, a decade and two years later, a “Lady GaGa” appeared!! Definitely interestin’ and tha whole 3rd verse held it down! My Rating: 4.3
19. Naheem “Massacre”
REALLY gutta title here!!! Let’s hear what this newbie (for me) has ta offer!!! >>> Pretty “raw” here; tha beat’s REALLY catchy and really gutta!!! Tha hook sounds “raw” as FUCK!!! Tha 1st verse sounds good; catchy-ass, consistent-ass rhymes!!! Nearly sounds like E-40 here wit tha voice… Tha 2nd verse sounds like it’s just dealin’ wit hood shit 24/7!! Tha 3rd verse’s really keepin’ it goin’!! Just luvin’ how long this feels (even though it’s only like 3:39)!! REAL NICE job!!! My Rating: 4.7
20. Naheem “Buck, Buck”
Shit, yea!!! Naheem’s endin’ this GR8 part of this tape!!!!! >>> Shit, yea; what a GR8 start here fa “Louisiana!!!” Catchy-ass hood beat and tha 1st verse’s soundin’ REAL GR8!!! Tha 2nd verse’s keepin’ it real here to tha fullest!! Naheem, you’re handlin’ business like no otha in these streetz!!! Tha 3rd verse’s just luvable material here for tha streetz; thumbs-tha-fuck-up!!! My Rating: 4.6
Overall: For tha “Bounce Side,” it was consistent wit tha GR8 sound. But, wit tha “Hustler Side,” it was consistent in a way dat I REALLY LUVED each joint!!! Tha average CD rating for tha “Hustler Side” wound up bein’ 4.6 (automatic 5-star rated CD), which dominated tha “Bounce Side” by a ½ point!!! REAL GR8 job puttin’ this tape together!!
