Damn!! I must have 8Reviewz syndrome ‘cause I keep doin’ eight reviewz in a night, lol!! This final review for tonight iz once again, Charles F. Scott wit his “Youth-In-Revolt” CD. Start Time: 11:58 PM | End Time: 12:14 AM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Never Sleep”
Let it begin… >>> Okay beat, you doin’ ya thang… Really consistent and a lil’ betta flow this time. My Rating: 3.6
02. “Lyrical Slomber”
Let’s see what this iz about… >>> Tha beat start sounds cool for a start; likin’ it already! Nice job wit how you deliverin’ tha lyrics and shit here; REALLY likin’ tha beat @ 1:10!! Huh? What’s up wit tha gurl? Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty good; interestin’ rhymes comin’ from you! My Rating: 3.9
½time: Pretty good so far; 3.8 iz tha average CD rating. This might be a lil’ betta than your last CD…
03. “Good Spirits”
I dunno about this title… >>> Tha beat sounds above average for a start here; tha gurl on tha hook’s ehh… I don’t really have a comment. Pretty good how you delivered tha 1st verse… Tha 2nd verse sounds a lil’ more catchier… My Rating: 3.4
04. “Waker’s Bake”
Interestin’ title… >>> What’s up wit tha pourin’ in tha beginning, lol? Tha gurl’s back on tha hook and it sounds like it gon be a “roll it up” anthem? Catchy… Not bad for a “weed”-type song… You got your N.O. perspective right chea, which ain’t dat bad… Tha 2nd verse has good “smokin’” lyrics; pretty good but not really a song I’d luv off a 1st listen… I like tha endin’ sample. My Rating: 3.7
05. “Standin’ Ovation”
LOL, how will you end it? >>> Pretty serious for tha beat start; what’s wit this singin’ intro? Sounds like you got a lot ta say… Tha hook’s aight but I’m DEFINITELY feelin’ tha beat sounds in dat 2nd ½ of tha hook!! Pretty “focused” on tha 2nd verse here; a shitload o’ lyrics!! My Rating: 3.9
Overall: Anotha aight CD from you; this turned out a lil’ betta though. Still, no songs I luved but pretty much all of tha songs were just above average.
Rankings (according to my ratings):
05. “Good Spirits” 3.4
04. “Never Sleep” 3.6
03. “Waker’s Bake” 3.7
02. “Standin’ Ovation” 3.9
01. “Lyrical Slomber” 3.9
