Afta reviewin’ my big dawg Skull Duggery just now, I feel like I’m motivated ta keep tha reviewz goin’!! This next one iz South Warning “They said We Couldn’t Do It”! REALLY lookin’ forward fa some reason… I just luv hearin’ artists I’ve neva heard before outta tha Boot!! Start Time: 10:52 AM | End Time: 11:31 AM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Soldiers”
I have a feelin’ dis gon be Bounce; let’s see if I’m right! >>> I’m wrong, it’s pretty street for a start here and it sounds good. Tha vocals sound Bounce though, lol. Good job deliverin’ tha catchy 1st verse! I’m likin’ tha Jamaican style when it comes ta tha words: “Mi 3rd Ward!” Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ good all tha way ‘round when it comes ta dis “S-O-L-D-I-E-R” rap, lol! Tha 3rd verse’s soundin’ good wit more added styles in tha vocals; good shit! My Rating: 4.3
02. “Woo Yah”
This looks Bounce ta me so let’s see what’s up. >>> LOL, tha beginnin’s Bounce and tha beat actually has a lil’ bit of G-Funk sounds, lol! Interestin’ soundin’ for tha 1st verse wit a Bounce vs. G-Funk sound! Tha hook’s cool; hood shit, lol! Tha 2nd and 3rd verses are keepin’ it goin’… I dunno about tha “we are family” part but I like tha human-echoin’ wit tha “ly—ly—ly—ly—ly—ly” towards tha end. My Rating: 4.0
03. “Smoke On”
Ooh, a “smoke” song so let’s see what’s up!! >>> Whoa, tha beginning wit tha “if you think you’re loaded now… Wait ‘til tha next blunt, my boy” singin’ sounds pretty damn catchy!! LOL @ tha length bein’ ova six minutes!! Callin’ tha “weed” a “gurl,” lol. You “pimpin’” it, lol!! Tha beat’s kinda like nothin’; just okay bass… Tha 2nd verse’s not bad but tha 3rd verse sounds GR8 wit all tha “smoke” shit! Tha rest iz kinda long but goes good wit tha “smokin’” subject! My Rating: 4.4
½time: So far, it’s pretty good; 4.2 iz tha average CD rating currently.
04. “Woo Ya Summer Jam” Feat. Cheeky Blakk
LOL, this joint was brought back? >>> ROFL! Sounds a lil’ cheesier than tha last one. Cheeky sounds good at tha end as she’s really fulla dat shit!! My Rating: 3.7
05. “G’s 4 Life” Feat. Soldja & Graveyard Soldjas
Ooh, look at tha collaboration here!!! REAL, REAL GOOD lookin’!!! >>> Pretty gutta… on a G-Funk level here!! Tha hook sounds good wit tha rapidness!! Tha 1st verse’s sound REAL GOOD for tha undaground here! DEFINITE plus here wit all y’all!! Ooh, there’s a 2nd part of tha 1st verse here wit a bunch of “hittin’” wit “G-shit!!” Sounds like a 3rd part of tha 1st verse here? This shit’s keepin’ it goin’!! Tha 4th part of tha 1st verse sounds REAL GUTTA here wit tha shit dat’s goin’ on!! DEFINITELY good shit!! My Rating: 4.5
06. “When I Die”
Only a minute long? >>> Sounds like a good intro… Tha intro’s longer than ½ tha song, lol… I really felt how y’all comin’ in tha intro; sounds REAL GOOD wit when y’all talk!! Tha singin’ in tha hook’s personal and good. My Rating: 4.2
07. “Fly Away”
What will tha last joint sound like? >>> Not really for me for a start; let’s see how tha verses sound… Tha 1st verse’s soundin’ good for a start but I dunno about tha lyrics… I dunno if dat whole part was tha hook… I don’t think it was ‘cause I only heard a lil’ part for tha title… I guess this iz tha 2nd verse and it sounds like some killin’ happened. I’m not too crazy about all this singin’… No comment on tha rest—Ooh, an outro. I’m likin’ how y’all sound. REAL GR8 outro… My Rating: 3.5
Overall: Good lil’ CD from y’all! Keep doin’ ya thang!
