Reviewed on 5.04.2010 (Review #428)
It’s now time to… BREAK MY 2ND RECORD FOR THA DAY!!! Tha 1st record was when I did my quickest review (eight minutes long) and now, speakin’ of eight, this my 8TH REVIEW for today, tha most I’ve done in a day!!! How high will tha record go?!? Well, to set it straight, here’s tha CD dat’s gonna set tha record: East Bank Gangstas “Problem Solver”!! Start Time: 8:10 PM | End Time: 8:37 PM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. Roll Call
How we gon “roll” in for tha 1st joint? >>> Shout out Lil’ Mac Records right chea, ya dig! I like how it sounds in tha background here as well as this intro itself! I can’t wait ‘til y’all “set this shit off,” ya dig!! I luv how y’all said, “Smoke ya a big fat blunt;” thumbs up!! My Rating: N/A
02. “Pimp-Tro”
Time fa me ta hear some East Bank Gangstas!!! >>> Sounds like a GR8 motto for tha beginning! Tha 1st verse sounds good here wit tha flow; y’all got some hot G-Funk shit on lock! Tha hook has dat hot motto in it; good looks on repeatin’ it! Huh, only one verse? A lil’ too short… My Rating: 4.2
03. “Slide Second Line”
I wonder how this joint gon sound? Give it ta me…! >>> I KNEW it was gonna be on tha Bounce tip, lol!! This shit DEFINITELY jammin’, ya dig!! “Got a fresh polo;” what could be betta, ya dig? Tight-ass shit right chea!! I think I’m up ta tha 2nd verse now (1:45); still comin’ through strong for tha ward here!! Tha hook sounds good and I luv tha “roll you up like a muthafuckin’ spliff” part; it breezed within seconds, lol! ROFL @ “Ooh, Shontelle! Girl, yo pussy smelllllllsss!!” Feelin’ this shit right chea; y’all holdin’ it down to tha fullest!! My Rating: 4.5
½ time: GR8 start so far fa only two songs!! Y’all got shit on lock!! Glad there’s SO many artists comin’ outta tha Boot from tha undaground!! Tha average CD rating iz currently a NICE 4.4; keep it up!!
04. “Problem Solver”
Let’s see this title track! >>> Sounds pretty funky fa tha ’95 right chea, doin’ tha damn thang wit these rhymes! Nice “grocery sto’” part, lol. I hear a “knockin’ at yo do’” part too; ooh, there were gunshots at :59 too! I feel like all I’m gonna do iz quote, lol. Feelin’ how y’all comin’ through on this track right chea; DEFINITELY “tha problem solver!” Tha 3rd verse sounds pretty tight here; “rocks in my draws.” Y’all DEFINITELY on dat gangsta shit and y’all get a BIG thumbs up from me, ya dig!! DEFINITELY an interestin’ verse right chea!! Even a lil’ ending fit ta end this joint off; catchy flow right chea! My Rating: 4.4
05. “Light Up A Blunt”
Ooh, this should be REAL GOOD!!! DEFINITELY luv titles like dis!! >>> LOL, it’s on tha Bounce tip; bluntful and Bounceful!! LOL @ tha hook; must be a HUGE smokin’ anthem!! Glad it’s uptempo!! I’m hearin’ tha 1st verse now and (of course) it has dat HOT Bounce flow wit those GR8 hood/gangsta lyrics!! Tha hook sounds gr8 on this shit too; DEFINITELY perfect for an anthem, ya dig!! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it sounds good; luv it, LUV IT, LUV IT, LUV IT, LUV IT, LUV IT!!! Tha 3rd verse has a good visual vibe to it; gotta feel it!! Anything dedicated to smokin’ in songs, I DEFINITELY enjoy listenin’ to it! Looks like tha endin’ gon be a lil’ bit on tha catchy-singin’ tip… My Rating: 4.7
06. “Slide Second Line (Radio)”
Ooh, a radio edit; good looks. See #3 fa tha review!
07. “Can’t Make Love”
A whoppin’ 6:41 on tha length, yet, I thought it was gonna be anotha radio edit at first… Let’s see what y’all got fa tha end… >>> Not bad for a start… It sounds good but a lil’ too calm… Tha 1st verse has good rhymes in it so thumbs up. Tha hook sounded like it went by a lil’ quick but it was aight ‘cause it was on tha singin’ tip… Nice lil’ job done on tha 2nd verse too, ya dig. Tha 3rd verse sounds like it fits tha song good here; good job. Tha 4th verse has a much betta chance of catchin’ attention wit tha voice!! This sounds like some good-ass shit right chea, ya dig!! Now, we got a 5th verse… Soundin’ like it fits wit tha otha verses wit tha aight flow and good rhymes. My Rating: 3.8
