Keepin’ tha day HOT, let’s get into my 9th review for today: It’s Murder Inc. “Playin’ For Keeps”! For those watchin’, this iz WAY before Irv Gotti’s Murder Inc., ya dig! I’m curious ta see what this’ll be like!! Start Time: 9:13 PM | End Time: 9:53 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Playin’ For Keeps”
This shit starts off wit tha title track right chea! Let’s see what’s good!! >>> Sounds like an intro… It was quick and now, it’s a hot beat start! I’m hearin’ tha beginning of this shit (1st verse) and it sounds like we on some gangsta-ass shit right chea!! Catchy rhymes here, keepin’ it hood 100% of tha time!! Ooh, anotha dude hoppin’ onto tha 1st verse too (or iz dat a chick? I think it iz…); nice job right chea! Gr8 job on tha flow and tha emergation onto tha track! More shit goin’ on here as anotha dude hopped onto tha 3rd part of tha 1st verse; good shit! Likin’ tha representation of “Louisiana” in tha verse, ya dig! Anotha dude hoppin’ onta this verse right chea; luv tha whole consistency of a verse! Gangsta-ass street-life lyrics goin’ on here in tha 4th part; good shit! I like how it ended wit tha title too! Sounds like a good sample ta go wit dis shit at tha end too! My Rating: 4.7


02. “Silence Me”
Interestin’ title… Tha length iz 5:25; this should be REAL GOOD!!! >>> Based off dat face on tha front cover, I expect a lotta real-ass hood shit! Well, tha 1st verse iz here and tha start of it I can’t relate to but tha rhymes stay good; tha flow iz good too. Tha hook iz good; I can give it a thumbs up. Tha 2nd verse iz dat person I thought was a chick or somethin’ right chea; gutta shit! Such a REAL-ASS gutta verse dat’s CONTINUOUS!!! It’s REALLY intense startin’ ‘round 2:20!! Hope they DEFINITELY DON’T “silence y’all;” y’all got dis shit on lock!! Tha 3rd verse has interestin’ lyrical content goin’ on here; pretty good! These are long-ass verses and they pay off!! My Rating: 4.4


03. “Hard Head Cemetery”
I expect REAL GOOD fa this joint!!! >>> Soundin’ pretty spooky for tha start! Tha beat iz a lil’ on tha uptempo-type here and it sounds pretty good for a start; let’s see tha rappin’! Tha chick-person iz 1st, rappin’ up a storm right chea!! Kick-assness on tha raps too!! Tha 2nd verse sounds like it’s REALLY on dat gangsta-ass shit right chea; REALLY consistent here!!! It was a much quicker verse; too bad there wasn’t more. Either way, there’s MORE verses so dat’s watz good!! Tha 3rd verse sounds like it’s on more of dat gangsta shit!! DEFINITELY tuned inta this shit to tha fullest!! My Rating: 4.8

Now, let’s see dis shit right chea!! >>> Soundin’ good wit tha beat and tha hook so far! Tha 1st verse has some pretty good hood shit goin’ on here; thumbs up! Tha 2nd verse has some street shit goin’ on here; good job wit these rhymes and all y’all clickin’ together! Tha 3rd verse soundin’ good wit tha way tha rappin’ iz delivered as well as tha voice fa this shit! A 4th verse fit here and it’s tha chick, spittin’ some raw rhymes! My Rating: 4.6

I wonder what dat numba iz? >>> Well, it’s confirmed dat it’s definitely a chick y’all wit, ya dig! She DEFINITELY iz raw on tha mic and I’m glad y’all fuck wit her!! She’s spittin’ some good-ass rhymes here in tha 1st verse! Tha 2nd verse comin’ through rapidly and REAL GR8!!! Gotta luv tha flows and all these gangsta-type lyrics!! Tha hook iz here and it’s pretty catchy; tha lady checks in tha hook right chea too! Let’s see what we got fa tha 3rd verse… Mo HOT SHIT fa my earz!! Tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse keeps this hot-ass gangsta/hood shit comin’ along!! REAL GLAD this shit iz as “real” as it gets; to tha fullest!! Tha last verse on this shit just keepin’ it gangsta to tha fullest, ya dig!! Tha dude on tha end sounds like Tupac a lil’… My Rating: 4.8

Y’all DEFINITELY know what y’all doin’ and sayin’ when it comes ta this G-shit to tha fullest!! Tha hook DEFINITELY has a NICE gangsta feel to it, ya dig! Let’s hear what tha 2nd verse has ta offer… Can’t have one gangsta verse without anotha!! REAL GLAD y’all keep it 100 wit dis shit to tha fullest!! Gotta have as much gangsta shit as possible!! Shit yea, here’s tha gutta-ass chick on tha 3rd verse, spittin’ dat gutta-ass shit fa y’all!! REAL NICE wit tha content here; crazy!! She even has tha endin’ here, REALLY RAW on y’all asses!!! A CD only bonus track here… Let’s see how good it iz fa a bonus! >>> Really likin’ tha creepin’ up beat start! Tha 1st verse’s comin’ through pretty strong on tha shit dat’s bein’ spit! Real good looks on tha flow right here mixed wit tha content! Y’all held down tha 1st verse good on this shit right chea; let’s see what else this has ta offer!! There’s some nice, descriptive shit bein’ spit in tha 2nd verse right chea; tight shit, ya heard me!! It’s ALWAYS gr8 ta express tha lyrics in a REALLY descriptive way!! I’m likin’ how tha 3rd verse sounds here for a start; kick-ass flow wit GR8-ass rhymes!! I’m just REALLY in-tuned to this flow; it’s SO FUCKIN’ GR8!!! Tha 4th verse DOIN’ tha damn thang on this beat right chea wit these gangsta-ass rhymes!!! My Rating: 4.8


Overall: Y’all REALLY ripped dis bitch up!! DEFINITELY a REAL HOT CD from y’all!!! I know there’s more of y’all in my marathon so I DEFINITELY look forward ta hearin’ more, ya dig!! Keep tha guttaness and gangstaness alive!!!
