I’m up to my 4th review already today, ya dig!! It’s my boy Lil’ Slim (or listed as Lil’ $lim on this CD), who I talked to online once on MySpace! Here’s my review (which someone told me to check out so it got added within tha marathon goin’ on) for his “Thug’n & Pluggin’” CD; DEFINITELY lookin’ forward!! Start Time: 1:40 PM | End Time: 2:21 PM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Bitches Ain’t Shit”
Time ta get inta ANOTHA Lil’ Slim disc, ya dig!! >>> Sounds good for a beat start here. Ooh, Bounce sounds adds to tha beat here; good shit! You got a good lil’ flow right chea on tha 1st verse! You keepin’ it real for dem hoes on tha 1st verse right chea; tha hook too. Tha hook has a nice vibe fa this shit as it’s doin’ tha damn thang! It sounds like you got fucked ova from a hoe on tha 2nd verse… Bad luck, I guess, lol? Sounds like some good club vibes goin’ on in tha 3rd verse; I like how you added tha “biiiitch” shit too! Thumbs up ta dat boy Slim, doin’ tha damn thang!! My Rating: 4.4


02. “Up On My Feet”
Looks like you ‘bout ta… I don’t know, tell me. >>> I’m likin’ this beat start right chea; givin’ a nice Louisiana feel to it! You got true shit on lock wit tha 1st verse here; DEFINITELY “up on your feet” to tha fullest!! Tha 2nd verse keeps this joint jammin’; thumbs up ta all tha shit you got goin’ on in your rhymes! Tha 3rd verse iz just like tha previous verses wit tha continuous shit about this joint. My Rating: 4.3


03. “Gangsta Day” Feat. Mannie Fresh
Will you be spittin’ some gangsta rhymes? >>> Soundin’ smooth at first but satisfies tha G-Funk style in tha beat; DEFINITELY inta this shit! Nice job wit tha production and now, I hear your gangsta-ass rhymes in tha 1st verse; DEFINITELY supplyin’ tha hood to tha fullest!! Ooh, Mannie Fresh hopped onto tha hook here; good shit! He makes tha hook sound good! You DEFINITELY keepin’ it hood wit tha 2nd verse here; I’m makin’ sure I’m ”listenin’ up closely.” Keepin’ tha gangsta shit goin’ wit tha 3rd verse; str8 hood shit to tha fullest! My Rating: 4.6


04. “Hands On My Gun”
Keep dis G-shit comin’ along!! >>> Cool lil’ 90’s beat here and you have your flow on lock, fa sho!! Nice job wit tha hood shit in tha 1st verse and tha hook DEFINITELY sounds good for tha streetz! Glad you doin’ ya thang wit this shit like crazy!! Tha 2nd verse has a nice lil’ rapid flow at times wit tha rhymes; definitely feelin’ it! Tha 3rd verse fit good for tha streetz too; always a GR8 supplier fa this music shit! My Rating: 4.4


05. “Live In Club Rolex (Real High)”
I wonder what this “live” shit iz all about… >>> Sounds nice and live here wit tha good beat pumpin’ in tha background. You doin’ ya thang on tha 1st verse wit dat good shit right chea! You keep spittin’ tha hot Louisiana shit in tha 2nd verse right chea! I’m glad you’re bein’ descriptive wit tha shit goin’ on in your dayz, ya dig! You got some good street shit bein’ spit in tha 3rd verse here; I can agree wit you wit tha shit you’re sayin’ ‘bout tha hood. Lots of shit goin’ on from shootings ta robberies. My Rating: 4.3


½time: Nice job, my boy!! Keep this hot shit up ‘cause I’m DEFINITELY in an undaground Louisiana Rap music trance right nah!! Average CD rating’s at a NICE 4.4 currently!!


06. “True To Tha Game$!!”
Looks like you keepin’ it real wit this title right chea! >>> I’m likin’ tha sounds here; you got tha real shit on lock fa tha streetz!! Tha hook DEFINITELY has a REAL NICE street vibe to it; gotta luv tha traffickin’ when it comes ta tha lyrics!! You got more hood shit comin’ through in tha 2nd verse here; good shit! You KNOW I gotta luv a dude like you who keeps it real, in a catchy way. Thanx fa tha gangsta-ass shit goin’ on in tha 3rd verse once again! Props on tha repetitiveness towards tha end ta prove how much you “true to tha game-ah!” I also like this long beat outro we got goin’ on here! My Rating: 4.7


07. “Shake’em Up, Shake’em”
Interestin’ title… What we gon “shake up?” >>> LOL @ this start; came outta nowhere! Good beat here and tha street level here iz at a nice level once again! Nice job wit tha 1st verse and yea, you DEFINITELY “shakin’ up” err-body! Nice job wit tha 2nd verse as well; you got a gr8 flow ta spit anything when it comes ta tha track!! Tha 3rd verse has a nice feel to this joint wit tha beat; thumbs up to your flow once again! NICE ending wit tha “slangin’” shit! My Rating: 4.3


08. “Time To Murder” Feat. Kilo G & Mr. Ivan
Kilo G on this joint? This should be GR8!! >>> What a surprise!! He just came outta NOWHERE on this track and iz just spittin’ FIYA!!! He DEFINITELY murders people on tha tracks!! I HOPE he still alive, ya dig!! He sounds REAL GR8 when it comes ta rappin’!! SOOOOOOOO MUCH street shit bein’ spit in this lil’ 1st verse alone; what’ll tha rest be like?!? Looks like he said somethin’ to “Mr. Ivan” on tha 2nd verse here; thumbs up ta this!! I’m readin’ online and it’s not just a song by Kilo G; it’s a feature and it also features Mr. Ivan! DEFINITELY some tight shit right chea and tha 3rd verse has MORE of dat HOT-ASS, FAST-ASS gangsta shit!!! My Rating: 4.9


09. “Neighborhood Terror”
You…KNOW…you’ll…DO…tha…DAMN…thang…wit…a…TITLE…LIKE…DIS!!! >>> Startin’ dis shit off wit your “dickies saggin’;” thumbs up ta dat boy Slim! You REAL GR8 on this CD and err-thang you do!! Real consistent wit tha rappin’ here; good shit! I’m hearin’ tha hook now and this shit iz official!! Gotta luv tha drug-type hook; you doin’ a NICE job here!! Forgot ta mention tha beat fits good wit your flow here; you can handle it at any time!! Nice job wit tha gangsta shit goin’ on in tha 2nd verse; crazy dude you iz!! Shit yea, a 3rd verse iz on here and you DEFINITELY talkin’ ‘bout tha hood and who’ll “come for you;” good job! My Rating: 4.7


10. “Nickles And Dimes” Feat. PxMxWx
Glad you have anotha collaboration here wit PxMxWx!! Let’s see how GR8 this iz wit this GR8 title!! >>> Good start wit a nice lil’ laid-back beat here, 90’s style! Tha 1st verse DEFINITELY keepin’ it G to tha fullest! Tha rhymes sound catchy; likin’ this shit to tha fullest!! Tha hook DEFINITELY on its trill-ass shit!! I like how tha 2nd verse sounds; keepin’ these “nickles, dimes” and err-thang else REAL HOT to tha fullest!! I REALLY like tha “dickies start ta sag wit tha pounds of weed” part; REAL, REAL TIGHT part right there!! You KNOW I really luv y’all wit dis Rap shit right chea!!! Tha 3rd verse sounds cool here; gangsta shit to tha fullest!! “Smoke one and get tha job done;” nice ending! My Rating: 4.8


11. Hollar At My Niggaz (Shout Out)
Iz this gonna be a song or a full shout out list? Lemme see what this iz about for tha ending of this CD… >>> Sounds like a song wit a KICK-ASS beat start!! You sound cool tha way you’re talkin’ and I luv tha chokin’ wit tha “too much fuckin’ bud;” you tha shit, my dawg! This iz a shout out list overall but iz real cool wit a beat like dis and a GR8 person like you ta talk on it! And when you do anotha CD, you can shout me out too fa holdin’ you down! My Rating: N/A


Overall: Slim, you did ANOTHA NICE job right chea on this CD of yours!! You got dat fiya and have REAL GR8 music when it comes ta tha streetz of tha N.O. in tha undaground!! Keep up tha gr8 work; you KNOW you get buku support from me!!
