Got one more review for tonight and then, I gon continue tomorrow. I almost have tha current reviewz outta tha way so lemme continue ‘til I’m done! Here goes my review for C-IV (who I believe iz ChaYsuh’s cousin) “O.T.B. (Only The Beginning) (The Mixtape)”! Start Time: 12:39 AM | End Time: 1:55 AM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Only Tha Beginnin’ (Tha ‘Tro)”
Let’s see how this “’tro” gon sound, lol… >>> I didn’t realize your name also stood for “C4” too… Well, there’s a “C-4” (spelled like dat) outta G-Lane so I guess it’s good dat you’re labeled as “C-IV”. You sound good for tha start here; lots of good raps goin’ on here. I feel like dis beat sounds all high quality wit how you rappin’ on it for some reason… Even though it’s tha “100 Million” beat, it just sounds like a high quality-sounding right chea. Tha rest of this sounds like just… rappin’. My Rating: 3.7


02. “Heard A Nigga Said”
Will it be an original production? Let’s see what you’re bringin’ to tha table here… >>> Might be jacked but I’ll treat it as original for now since it’s off to a good start. This CD cover of yours iz everywhere; it must be tha most addictin’ cover of tha year or somethin’, lol? Tha hook sounds good in tha beginning here; hot shit! I like how you came through and delivered tha hook. Tha 1st verse sounds good fa howeva old you are; you sound like a big, young dude. Interestin’ shit you spit in tha 1st verse; holdin’ down tha streetz right chea! Tha 2nd verse sounds good here; holdin’ it down wit dis Rap shit on a good, consistent flow. I like how tha 3rd verse’s soundin’ here wit tha “-er” shit; sounded like there was water in your throat or some shit, lol. You doin’ ya thang here on this verse, ESPECIALLY at tha end where you just goin’ off! What was dat numba at tha end? Lemme google it… Ewe, California, lol… I was gonna store it if it was Louisiana… My Rating: 4.2


03. “You’re Everything (B.R.)”
This iz SO FUCKIN’ FUNNY!!! This iz prolly tha 2nd time dis happened, but one time, it was back 2 back… I did a review earlier today dat had used this beat (Sheen~Marie) and now, here it iz for tha 2nd time; 2/2 for today, lol. >>> This iz funny dat I’m hearin’ dis beat again; how will you sound on it? You sound good here as you’re representin’ to tha fullest. I like how you have a huge street feel in your sound right chea! I like tha “Glen Oaks, smokin’ weed, gettin’ high” part @ 1:03! Street shit at ALL times!! Sounded like a whole freestyle and then, tha original hook. My Rating: 4.0


04. “And I’m Off” Feat. Pit & ChaYsuh
I like dis title right chea; what’ll you bring dis time? >>> More beats I’ve heard recently too; Rick Ross “Mafia Music” beat. Still soundin’ pretty high quality on tha sound here once again so dat’s a plus! You’re doin’ a nice job here on tha 1st verse; sounds like you have a lot ta offer for tha streetz right chea at all times! Tha 2nd verse iz Pit right chea; iz dis tha same dude as on Young Ready’s 2006 “Junkie Medicine” CD? Anyway, it has ta be ‘cause of HOW TIGHT he iz!! I luv how he REALLY holds tha streetz down right chea wit his attitude and tha street shit he be spittin’!! Now, a final verse fa dis joint from ChaYsuh… “Watchin’ BET,” I see. I’m actually on Long Island, NY right now so I get BET. I must say dat “106 & Park” iz tha ONLY music show? What’s wit err-body these dayz? Horrible promotion! At least you guys hold tha undaground down and I promote y’all! Nice job chasin’ a “Rap dream,” ChaYsuh! My Rating: 4.3


05. “Head Bobbin’” Feat. ChaYsuh
What’ll dis be like? >>> I don’t know dis beat or do I? Kinda confused but it’s from ’09 (wit tha album title sayin’, “Unknown Album 8-11-2009”). Oh, this iz a jacked beat and from a while ago so I can’t think of it. I know Lil’ Jon originally produced it and it sounds like you have some pretty good raps goin’ on here. It’s an aight “head bobber” so far… Tha 2nd verse I don’t really have anything ta say; it basically held it down like tha 1st verse. ChaYsuh’s comin’ through pretty hard right chea on tha 3rd verse; he just CRAZY wit it sometimes! Usually, tha weight REALLY helps wit tha toughness too! “Keep playin’ and I’ma hit chu wit a bus;” damn!!! Sounds like a kinda long outro… My Rating: 3.6


06. “Would I”
Just you on dis? How will you do? >>> Ah, sounds like a Cam’ron/Jim Jonesish/New York beat dat I wouldn’t wanna hear on a Louisiana mixtape or somethin’… Anticipation’s kinda lowered here so let’s see how I’ll survive tha next 3:44… Tha rhymes are good here but I can’t really have a lotta interest in this… Nothin’ ta really say on tha 2nd verse… Wit tha 3rd verse, I feel like dis iz for people in tha undaground of New York or somethin’… My Rating: 3.0


07. “Make Up Mind”
>>> There’s 4:50 on tha length and wit tha sound effect in tha beginning, I’m almost a lil’ afraid ta see what this’ll turn out ta be… Aight, this anotha jacked beat but I can’t figure out what it iz… Tha hook’s okay but nothin’ dat would stand out fa me except how you deliver it. I don’t really have much ta say about tha 1st verse; I wish this production was original ‘cause I’m slowly losin’ interest here, yet, I have 10 songs left… Those “starvation” lyrics in tha 2nd verse ain’t for me, unfortunately… Hate ta put it to you but my boy Rab says, “Mixtapes shouldn’t be dat long (ova like 40-45 minutes),” so when I see a total length of 1:09:45, I’m like, “What’ll Rab say about this length, lol?” Sounds like a promiscuous 3rd verse here… I agree about preventin’ yourself from riskin’ “tha Cancer.” LOL @ tha 10 seconds of silence… My Rating: 2.6


08. “Ride Wit A Nigga”
I know what’s gonna come outta this beat… My guess: T.I. “Ride Wit Me”? >>> Wow, finally, original production? Thanx for switchin’ it up! I easily could tell by tha sound and how tha beginning sound effect sounded like “Grind All Day”! Tha hook sounds cool; I would DEFINITELY “ride wit you” when it would come ta hangin’ out, ya heard me!! I DEFINITELY luvin’ tha “blow dat killa” shit in tha hook too; good-ass shit right chea!! I can picture us in tha car in tha 1st verse right chea, just doin’ tha damn thang to tha fullest, ya feel me! Nice job wit tha 1st verse as you just “goin’ places” and I can picture it! Let’s see where we’re goin’ wit tha 2nd verse here… Good shit when it comes ta bein’ in tha car! “Stop, brake, stop, brake,” lol; good shit! Shit yea, you even have a 3rd verse fa dis one too (you usually good wit tha 2nd verses)! Street shit goin’ on here; feelin’ tha content and tha rhymes! My Rating: 4.5


½time: Not bad for a start… I really like how tha “Ride Wit A Nigga” joint sounds; keep tha original production up! Tha average CD rating iz currently a 3.7.


09. “In My Mind”
(Accordin’ to tha DatPiff tracklisting) Let’s see dis… >>> Good start so far; sounds like Mouse almost in tha beginning here! Cool beat, cool hook! I like tha shit you’re spittin’ in tha 1st verse here; catchy voice fa dis too! I like tha “my weed iz betta than yours” part; good shit! Tha 2nd verse sounds good; I like your “weed” shit goin’ on here! You REALLY feelin’ good in tha 2nd verse here; gotta feel dis shit to tha fullest! I feel like dis mixtape’s startin’ ta get to its peak! You even got MO “weed” shit in tha 3rd verse right chea; DEFINITELY tuned in right chea, my boy!! Seven seconds of silence at tha end? My Rating: 4.4


10. “I Don’t Know” Feat. Pit
Likin’ dat Pit’s on it but “I don’t know” what it’ll sound like wit 5:20 on tha length, lol… >>> Sounds like more original production for tha start here; glad you’re givin’ a speech too! REALLY lookin’ forward ta seein’ what Pit’ll offer!!! Okay, at about :47, tha beat kicked in and it sounds like you holdin’ down some raw content here in tha 1st verse right chea! Almost reminds me of T-Lo a lil’ here… Tha hook’s has a lil’ bit of anxiety in it; “I don’t know” how I’ll feel about it right now… As for tha 2nd verse, “Nigga, fuck you?” Dat must be one of tha HOTTEST intros to a verse in a while!! REAL TIGHT job from dat big dawg Pit!! I like how he says, “I’m on dem pillz ‘cause tomorrow ain’t promised.” Although dat’s like an “I don’t know” prediction, at least he feelin’ good 24/7. Pit, come fuck wit me on some real shit, ya dig! Tha 3rd verse iz off to an okay start wit you on it so far… Tha “R-Y-A-N-F-R-A-N-C-I-S” and “M-I-S-S-Y-O-U” part sounded REAL HOT how you spelled it! I also think you sounded like you had a lil’ bit of Max Minelli in your voice this time on tha verse! I like how you endin’ dis wit tha “I treat tha world like my smoke;” thumbs UP to your “smoke,” ya dig!! Afta tha lil’ outro from you, tha hook’s repeatin’… My Rating: 4.2


11. “Go On GO! (Green Light Motto)”
And what iz this? >>> Sounds energetic for tha start; lots of motivation here wit your “inside tellin’ you, ‘Go on, GO!’” Good shit so far… I like how you comin’ through on tha 1st verse right chea; you feelin’ good wit what you do! You sound good on tha 2nd verse too… Lots of “reppin’” here wit what’s bein’ represented on dis shit right chea; jammin’ shit once again! Tha 3rd verse sounds good once again; I don’t have much ta say about it. I like tha spellin’ of tha title before tha 3rd verse ends; good shit! This iz DEFINITELY hella catchy!! I heard tha endin’ and you said somethin’ ‘bout a “Grind beat;” did he produce this? My Rating: 4.4


12. “Be My Mainline”
Let’s see what dis one’s all about… >>> A lil’ intro… Must be for tha ladies here… I’m likin’ tha space-soundin’ vocal sounds right chea; they’re hella catchy! It’s an aight 1st verse overall though; I don’t have much ta say about it. Tha hook has like heroin goin’ into your vains wit tha way you say, “be my,” and just repeat it; addictin’! Still keepin’ tha catchiness in tha 2nd verse right chea; feelin’ this and tha vocal sounds are really keepin’ this worth my attention! Tha 3rd verse sounds dedicated when it comes ta bein’ wit dis “mainline” gurl, ya dig. My Rating: 4.1


13. “Writers Block”
Keepin’ these interestin’ songs goin’, let’s see this one (wit a good title too)! >>> Oh, I didn’t realize you “got stuck” wit tha “9th bar” on “Be My Mainline”. But, let’s see what you have wit dis song… It’s okay for a start so far; I guess it’s betta ta go wit your gut when it comes ta a relationship in my opinion (when it comes ta others)… A lil’ bit on tha freestylin’ tip here… LOL @ tha “it’s your house, take a hike” part! This iz just soundin’ like a whole verse and usually, I lose interest when it’s too long… My Rating: 3.5


14. “’Preciate It”
No problem, I luv reviewin’, ya dig! >>> Damn, some of these songs long (5:28) outta nowhere… I hope you “’preciate this review,” ya dig! Thanx for all these gr8 lyrics dedicated ta me at times! Tha 1st verse went by pretty quick fa me (kinda odd for a longer song) but yea, I’m glad ta do this review for you once again! It’s ALWAYS a pleasure ta help (and peep out) all tha undaground talent in Louisiana!! I like tha strength in tha 2nd verse here; go “rain” on err-body, lol! Keepin’ your motivation up on tha 3rd verse here; good shit! What’s tha remainin’ 2:09? Will it be anotha verse and an outro? LOL, it’s a two minute outro? LOL @ tha Grind beat tag! Oh, Grind wants you ta have “more bars;” good shit! Well then, tha 4th verse iz here and I like how people call you by “bruh;” dat sounds cool. I luv when people say, “bruh,” ta me; it’s a Louisiana/Southern thang! No one says it up here, which iz gay, but I guess dat’s why it’s for tha South; I just LUV tha word so much!! My Rating: 3.9


15. “Whatcha Smokin’ On” Feat. Pit
JACK-FUCKIN’-POT RIGHT CHEA!!! I KNOW DIS GON BE MY TOP RATED SONG!!!!! >>> You KNOW tha intro goes hard as fuck!!! REAL GLAD tha length’s 4:47; classic shit!! Tha beat has HOT Southern sounds in it and goes REAL HARD!!! Tha hook has a lil’ bit of singin’, which sounds good. You’re on tha 1st verse here and it sounds GR8 for tha “smokers.” For tha younger ones, yea, “don’t do drugs;” good advice. For all y’all dat “smoke,” keep doin’ tha damn thang!! LOL @ tha start to tha 2nd verse wit “moment of silence for tha weed dat turned brown,” lol! Pretty good 2nd verse right chea; REALLY lookin’ forward to dis Pit verse!! He gon make me REALLY wanna do buku shit fa him!!! Oh, you’re on tha 3rd verse? Where iz he…? More good shit fa tha “smokers” right chea; good/dumb shit! I don’t get where Pitt was; was he just in tha background? A lil’ bit of a disappoint there, but I still feel dat dis tha top song on dis mixtape! My Rating: 4.5

LOL, what will dis sound like? >>> LOL, it sounds like you coolin’ in tha studio here. Shit yea, I did enjoy dis! Cool shit, my boy. My Rating: N/A


17. “Rida Muzic (Sample)” Feat. Jon Jon
Okay, let’s see how we gon end dis… >>> Grind on tha beat (again) and it sounds good for “ridin’ to” although I liked dat one song betta where it felt like I was “ridin’ wit you” or somethin’… Tha 1st verse from you sounds good; you doin’ ya thang in tha car right chea! Ooh, tha hook wit tha Jon Jon dude sounds REAL, REAL HOT!! It’s like tha previous joint had a sequel or somethin’!! Gotta luv y’all on your “smoke-ass” shit!! You holdin’ down tha 2nd verse here too, as you’re “drivin’,” ya dig. I hear it fadin’ out… I guess I’ll wait ta hear tha whole thang soon… My Rating: 4.4


Overall: This turned out ta be pretty good… Tha original production DEFINITELY helped from tha beginning! Keep doin’ ya thang and keep “smokin’,” ya heard me!
