Reviewed on 5.30.2010 (Review #483)
Up next, I gon review Wild Wigg & Lil’ Charlez “Laugh Now, Cry Later Vol. 1”. Start Time: 11:07 AM | End Time: 11:57 AM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Ain’t Worried Bout ’Em”
What’s dat “m” after “worried?” Iz it ‘pose ta represent a production from Mod? Good thing for tha back cover dat it has tha FULL title although “’Em” iz not a compound word… >>> Sounds tight for a startin’ song; gr8 beat! Tha hook’s “energized” too and speakin’ of havin’ “a lotta money,” if dat’s tha case, it wouldn’t be a problem ta buy a commercial from me, ya dig; nice and easy! Good job wit tha 1st verse; hot quality right chea! I like tha “pants hangin’ off my ass” shit in tha hook; definitely official! I like tha flow for tha 2nd verse here; definitely feelin’ tha attitude wit feelin’ real cool ‘bout yourself, ya dig! Shout out ta Lil’ Charlez holdin’ down tha 2nd verse right chea; DEFINITELY “serious!” Gotta luv how tha 3rd verse comin’ through too wit a consistent, gutta sound right chea! My Rating: 4.6
02. “Nasty-Ass Nigga”
Looks like a “nasty-ass” title, lol. What’ll y’all be rappin’ ‘bout here? >>> More good production for tha start here; sounds gr8 for a start here once again! Oh, I thought this was more on a grimy/street level wit y’all bein’ gutta wit it but it’s on an actual “nasty” tip for tha hoes. I dunno about a 2nd song but it sounds like some good N.O.-type vocals here. Nice job wit tha 1st verse; tha hook sounds betta now dat I hear it for tha 2nd time. This iz pretty good for some explicit shit; I still can’t picture how anyone would get into an explicit state of mind… I guess I gotta still wait; I’m still young. Charlez sounds pretty good for tha 2nd verse here… Once again, y’all a GR8 team! My Rating: 4.4
03. “U Can Get It” Feat. Mod Productions
A collab here; what’ll it sound like? >>> LOL @ tha new beat tag… Tha beat sounds real hot; everytime tha keys are touched, it feels like it gets inta you! Catchy hook; almost like tha “Aww Shit” joint! Tha 1st verse’s good here; y’all still comin’ through wit it! This iz more of adult-type rappin’ here wit all tha “club” shit here; I guess y’all a lil’ older than me… Anyway, good shit once again from Lil’ Charlez on tha 2nd verse; he must be like 24 or somethin’ wit tha way he rappin’. Nice job wit how he brings dis shit to tha fullest! Back to Wigg on tha 3rd verse here; more good shit to tha fullest! So overall, dat’s Mod on tha hook? I guess so; threw every topic in tha hook, lol? My Rating: 4.7
04. “Voices In My Head”
Let’s keep it goin’ >>> Gotta feel dat beginning sound; good job wit tha production again! I’m gonna go wit tha DatPiff title here and put it as “Voices” ‘cause dat’s what it says in tha hook. Anyway, I thought I would be turned off by dis but tha production’s way above average and tha hook sounds hot wit how it’s delivered so thumbs up on dat! Tha 1st verse sounds good; “don’t trust anybody, not even friends.” Dat’s a good line and really, what are “friends?” I don’t even know; can’t even define dat word! Must be dat boy Charlez on tha 2nd verse here; feelin’ these real-life lyrics! At least wit how this joint’s delivered, there’s no boring soundin’ wit dis so I can listen! Tha 3rd verse from Wigg sounds good wit tha topic once again. Tha switch to Charlez on tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse sounds good too. He has “a son” too? I guess I was right about tha Age 24 thing before… My Rating: 4.3
05. “Take U Home 2 Momma” (Lil’ Charlez Solo)
It’s either “Mama” or “Momma;” in this case, I’ll add an “m” like tha titles have, lol. LOL, speakin’ of tha added “m,” it actually has it in tha DatPiff tracklisting, lol! Oh yea, anotha error: You have an “s” in Charlez’s name on tha DatPiff tracklisting instead of a “z.” >>> Anotha good beat here; feelin’ dis sound and wit Charlez’s flow here! Tha hook’s catchy; gotta luv tha repetitiveness! When I think of Lil’ Charlez, I think of him as more of a street rapper than a lotta this female-type shit but it sounds good either way; it’s just unexpected. Good job wit tha 2nd verse too; consistent to tha fullest! My Rating: 4.3
06. “Addicted 2 Money” Feat. Mod Productions
Anotha feature here and I can picture what might come outta dis… >>> Sounds like good trap-type shit here for a start; I hope it builds up a lil’ bit wit either tha beat or tha content! Tha hook I had a feelin’ was gonna be tha Lil’ Scrappy one (which I usually stereotype this title as) but it’s close; Mod just worked it around a lil’ bit here… Keepin’ it goin’, tha typical 2nd verse here as it’s usually Lil’ Charlez, lol. Still has “plenty money;” dat’s good. Sounds like an “obsession wit money,” lol… Unexpected, instead of someone like Wigg on tha 3rd verse, it’s Mod… No comment really; just read tha feedback I already left this song; it speaks for itself. My Rating: 4.5
½time: Looks like a REAL improvement since tha “It’s Whateva Vol. 1” mixtape… Tha average CD rating’s a 4.5 right now and all tha jointz be REAL consistent!! DEFINITELY feelin’ Wigg & Charlez together on all these tracks; DEFINITELY HOT SHIT to tha fullest!! Y’all a REAL GR8 team!!
07. “It’s A Betta Look”
Either “Better” (back cover) or “Betta” (DatPiff); dependin’ on what tha hook says, it’ll determine what I keep for tha title… >>> I swear, these beats just keep gettin’ HOTTER!!! This iz like CRAZY-ASS production to tha fullest!!! Nice 1st verse, ya dig… Tha hook sounds good; I didn’t hear tha title? Maybe I gotta keep listenin’… Gotta luv tha way Charlez comin’ through once again for this 2nd verse right chea; it’s official!! Only two verses fa dis joint? It don’t matter! As long as it’s hot!! My Rating: 4.7
08. “You Say” Feat. Mod Productions
Okay, 3rd time Mod’s here on tha feature; what’ll this be like? >>> Sounds like a hot intro wit tha beat but I had a feelin’ this was gonna be like a singin’ song; ehh… Tha 1st verse sounds good… An aight song; I feel like dis topic appears too much… Almost sounds like a censored “fuckin’” in tha 2nd verse? Good job holdin’ tha verse down, regardless… Tha 3rd verse fit too fa this… I hear some of tha sounds from “Aww Shit” in this beat, lol… Silence at tha end? My Rating: 3.8
09. “Mr. Pussy Knocker”
Maybe this’ll be betta and on an explicit note? >>> LOL @ tha old beat tag… Tha hook’s aight; I might like it tha same as tha last song… LOL @ “havin’ tha asshole,” lol… Tha 1st verse was aight… This beat sounds cool at times but I feel like nothin’s really happenin’ wit dis song right chea… Tha 2nd verse has a pretty good delivery fa dis topic right chea… Gotta feel Lil’ Charlez at all times! More silence at tha end… My Rating: 3.6
10. “Heard Of Me”
>>> Good soundin’ here; tha hook iz off to a good/aight start… Lil’ Charlez’s on tha 1st verse here, lol? He switched it up and iz doin’ his thang here. When I hear, “y’all done heard of me,” I always think of Nu$$ie… Cool for tha 1st verse… Let’s see what tha rest of tha song brings… Time fa Wild Wigg on tha 2nd verse, soundin’ pretty good for tha start here! This might be a 1st where Wigg sounds betta on Charlez right chea; likin’ tha attitude and how he’s comin’ through wit dis shit right chea! My Rating: 3.9
11. “Where U At” (Mod Productions)
LOL, he has a solo song on here now? What’ll come outta dis? >>> Sounds like fartin’ in tha beat start, lol? Sounds like tha “You Say” song… I was sayin’ this to Tha G.T.: How come all producers ONLY make songs about tha ladies? Especially/mainly when I hear them for tha 1st time? I produce and I ain’t like dat when I rap, lol. Tha rhymes are kinda typical here; I don’t need ta leave feedback. Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and I’m glad I’ve been single my whole life; it makes me deliver my talent more! And, more gurlz and people like what I do! My Rating: 3.4
12. “Make It Happen (Remix)”
What kinda song am I expectin’ fa dis? >>> “Remix” ta what song, lol? LOL, where’d tha 1st version go? If you say, “remix,” I’ll put dat in tha ID then. Tha hook sounds cool; tha beat’s pretty cool on dis too. I like all tha “allow me” shit in tha 1st verse; shit yea, “sag your pants” so you can feel good to tha fullest! I like tha Southern/good undaground Louisiana soundin’ in tha hook right chea! It reminds me of some old, Early 2000’s, New Orleans-type shit here! Shit yea, Lil’ Charlez on tha 2nd verse, doin’ a good job here wit how he sounds; good shit! Tha 3rd verse iz here and I’m still feelin’ dis… Good job from Wigg on tha 1st ½ of tha 3rd verse and now, Charlez’s feelin’ good once again on tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse here! My Rating: 4.3
13. “Wonder Why” (Wild Wigg Solo)
Good thing for tha Wigg solo also… Tha beat intro was a lil’ odd fa a start but it sounded HOT in tha beat at :10! Now, I hear tha hook and it sounds GR8, ESPECIALLY wit tha 2nd ½ where it goes, “and they wonder why I act like this;” TIGHT shit (on sum real shit)!! Here he goes on tha 1st verse, soundin’ like he gettin’ hated on; “why?” Nice job deliverin’ tha verse on some real life shit! He keepin’ tha real shit up durin’ tha 2nd verse; glad Mod produced fa you, Wigg! It’s anotha hot song here on a different level! If someone else produced this, they prolly would’ve fucked it up by makin’ it depressin’ or some shit. But, this sounds much betta now dat Mod’s on tha beat! And, there’s eight seconds of silence at tha end… My Current Rating: 4.1
Overall: LOL, it took me 50 minutes ta review dis and it’s 50 minutes long… But yea, DEFINITELY givin’ this tha BIG thumbs up!! REAL GR8 production all tha way through and all tha jointz pretty much go hard, no matter tha ratings! Keep tha hot shit comin’ ‘long, guys! BTW, y’all look real cool on tha front/back covers; dumb shit!
