Well, this iz my last review for tha night. Boo hoo… But, don’t worry! I’ll be back in FULL FORCE tomorrow, ya dig!! So, here it iz: Review #10 today iz: Tre-8 “Ghetto Stories”!! Afta settin’ a record for BEST CD I EVA REVIEWED just now wit his “Fright Night” tape, how will he do this time? Start Time: 11:14 PM | End Time: 12:16 AM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

You’re DEFINITELY “what’s happenin’,” ya dig!! Let’s see how you start dis CD off!! >>> Oh, SHIT!!! Came through CRAZY on tha beginning right chea!!! “Make niggaz redo music,” huh? Shit, you’re REAL RAW wit it!!! You DEFINITELY held tha 1st verse DOWN right chea, ya dig!!! Tha hook sounds cool; basically, “what’s happenin’,” iz all you askin’! Tha 2nd verse breezed by pretty fast; you got this hood shit and ERR-THANG quality in undaground Rap music ON LOCK!!! LOL, “tha Boogeyman iz comin’;” UH OH!!! You just REAL SICK WIT IT!!! “No death row, this iz a death flow;” TIGHT quote right there!! “Smoke one, fool;” thumbs up!! My Rating: 4.8


02. “Fright Night” Feat. Master P
This DEFINITELY gon be a CLA$$IC!!! Will it beat your “Fright Night” tape? This CD has DOUBLE tha amount of songs from tha last tape!! Tha type of beat intro I would expect ta luv! Ooh, tha start to tha 1st verse comin’ through REAL, REAL RAW!!!!! CRAZY-ASS SHIT COMIN’ FROM TRE-8!!!!! DEFINITELY IZ “Fright Night” in dis bitch right now!! Tha 2nd verse has tha REAL FAST-ASS rappin’ continuin’ wit nothin’ but REAL SHIT right chea!! I would LUV ta radio edit dis and show err-body I can radio edit at any pace! Tha 3rd verse sounds like Master P but there’s no feature listed… Much slower on tha pace but it sounds gr8, of course!! Matta fact, I believe it iz Master P so I gon source him! LOL, look at dis lineup for a skit! DEFINITELY lookin’ forward ta seein’ watz good wit dis!! >>> Where are tha featured dudes? I just hear one person… A lil’ bit of a good skit right there. My Rating: N/A


04. “Lay Me Down To Sleep”
It sounds like this’ll be pretty raw for a title like dis!! >>> Tha beginning sounded like Tha G.T.’s “Put Me At Ease;” did he take dat beginning quote from dis? Or, iz dat a mainstream quote? Either way, nice job wit tha hook and tha 1st verse has your gutta feel to it! DEFINITELY feelin’ how you comin’ through nice and gutta on tha track right chea!! Yea, “some gangsta shit gon be goin’ down;” agreed! You doin’ ya thang fa tha 2nd verse!! “Leave dat chest caved in;” shit, man!!! You got REAL SHIT comin’ out yo mouth on tha 3rd verse as it goes to tha very end! My Rating: 4.7


05. “Ghetto Stories” Feat. Master P
Let’s see dis title track right chea; REALLY lookin’ forward!! >>> DEFINITELY gutta wit tha start to tha beat (and 1st verse) right chea!! You DEFINITELY keepin’ it G to tha fullest here; SOOOOOO much CRAZY shit bein’ spit right chea once again!!! You a FOOL wit dis Rap shit!!! I heard you say, “Lemme smoke dis ‘gar;” I think I heard this once befo’… I thought I did but I can’t find tha review so I’m just re-reviewin’ it; fuck it. Tha 2nd verse has a GOOD amount of descriptive, TIGHT-ASS rhymes right chea!!! Shout out ta Master P holdin’ down tha hook; gonna source him on this shit! Interestin’ shit goin’ on in tha 3rd verse here wit “a lady walkin’ down tha street” and all dis street-ass shit goin’ on!! Even a nice outro from P, talkin’ some real-ass shit! My Rating: 4.7


06. “What That South Like” Feat. Mia X
This looks familiar too so let’s see what’s up wit it. >>> Nope, a newbie. X had a song of hers featuring you on her CD, “Good Girl Gone Bad”. Anyway, this sounds like some pretty good shit for tha “South,” ya dig! I like how tha both of y’all collaboratin’ on tha 1st verse right chea; GR8 duet, lol!! “Louisiana chicken,” ehh, lol? Y’all makin’ this a NICE anthem on tha hook; I like tha “hella” parts! You KNOW I gotta give a shout out ta my gurl Alexia! You’re “a boxer” who’s “’bout ta fuck shit up” on tha 2nd verse right here! Have you bit anyone yet, lol? Nah, I’m just playin’! Good job on tha 2nd verse as you comin’ through wit dat heat! My Rating: 4.6


07. “Ain’t No Love” Feat. Silkk The Shocker
I know these titles and they look familiar… I guess I neva heard them from you though. >>> Pretty smooth start here; good shit. You’re REALLY goin’ off on tha 1st verse right chea; gangsta-ass shit to tha bone!!! Tha hook’s nice and smooth wit tha title. Tha 2nd verse has MORE street shit comin’ outta it!! No matter what timeline you lived it, tha information iz bein’ delivered to you right chea, ya dig!!! Comin’ through like tha BIGGEST gangsta on tha street right chea, ya dig!! Sounds like all tha vocals are behind tha beat or somethin’ as they’re like in tha background? Either way, I can hear tha rhymes at least (no matta how faraway they sound) and tha 3rd verse contributed nicely ta this shit. Wit three verses down, what’ll tha last 80 seconds be? Sounds like it’s just gonna be an outro… My Rating: 4.4


08. “Bang 2 Tha Boogie”
LOL @ this title… Don’t tell me it has ta do wit “Rappers Delight”… >>> Ooh, it’s more on tha gangsta tip here, anthemin’ wit your “9” to tha fullest, ya dig! Feelin’ tha kick-ass rhymes here ta make you feel good when listenin’ ta gangsta Rap music!! Tha hook DEFINITELY has it goin’ on here wit tha gangsta shit!! You got dat rapid-ass flowin’ on tha 2nd verse right chea; GLAD you combinin’ it wit buku gangsta lyrics!!! “Come equipped” to tha 3rd verse right chea, ya dig!! Tell it like it iz, big dawg!! My Rating: 4.6

Cool lil’ title here! Looks like this’ll be an anthem too!! >>> Typical, good beat right chea for a start. You DEFINITELY got it goin’ on wit this hook too; keepin’ this hot-ass shit comin’ along!!! A shit-load of gangsta shit was spit in tha 1st verse, ya dig! Oh, shit! I didn’t realize tha hook had a WHOLE LOTTA gangsta shit goin’ on!!! I REALLY like tha 2nd ¼ of it wit tha “I’m ready ta pop…!!” You REALLY got this shit goin’ on to tha fullest!!! Tha 2nd verse kept it real wit all tha gangsta-ass shit comin’ out yo mouth, ya dig!! You even said, “Smoke one, fool,” so you DEFINITELY focused!! Here’s tha 3rd verse and you’re my size, “5’ 10”;” good shit! I KNOW you crush people below you when it comes ta ANYTHING, ya heard me!! Oh, so it’s “Smoke One Records,” huh? Good shit!! My Rating: 4.9

Spit it, ya dig!! >>> Shit yea, you comin’ through REAL FAST wit it, ya dig!! DEFINITELY feelin’ how you bringin’ these rhymes to tha table; NICE and FAST!!! ALL tha shit you got goin’ on here iz TRUE-ASS shit wit err-thang you say and how you say it!! It took only 46 seconds ta deliver tha 1st verse and you DEFINITELY held it down EVERY SINGLE SECOND!!! Tha hook sounds good; DEFINITELY’LL “bump in yo trunk!” Tha 2nd verse sounded like it passed by so quickly; you REALLY be sayin’ a WHOLE LOT when it comes ta this Rap shit!! SO MANY lyrics you hold and I’m GLAD you unleash ‘em on tha tracks!!! Tha 3rd verse iz an effect people get affected by when they hear you; true, true!! I REALLY luv how you ended tha verse wit “fulla dat weed, bitch!” My Rating: 4.7

I thought you’re from New Orleans though? Let’s see this perspective… >>> It even has a lil’ Westside-type feel in tha beat right chea. You DEFINITELY “fiendin’” fa tha “green” right chea; I DEFINITELY feel you wit ERR-THANG you be spittin’ about, big dawg!! Tha hook iz pretty cool; I can vibe to it. You got MORE of tha gangsta shit goin’ on in tha 2nd verse though; this iz DEFINITELY watz good!! REAL CRAZY from 1:41 – 1:43; SHIT YEA!!! Here’s tha 3rd verse and you have tha BEST, complete control of yourself right chea, ya dig!! You a HUGE “Crescent City” representa to tha fullest!!! My Rating: 4.5


12. “4 Real, Mack Daddy” Feat. Master P
How good’ll this be? >>> Ooh, very G-Funky for tha start here; you got this shit on lock here! Good hook, my boy! “Playin’ these hoes like Nintendo” ta start tha 1st verse off, lol! I heard a different “Nintendo” line somewhere, not too long ago, when I was reviewin’ someone else’s CD too, lol. Tha 1st verse has a LOT goin’ on; DEFINITELY tuned into tha HOTNESS comin’ out on how you lure people ta your music!! Tha 2nd verse has more good shit goin’ on; consistency wit tha rhymes!! “Hard like pebbles;” lol @ dat line, yet, you really are when it comes ta crushin’ otha rappers!! Tha 3rd verse DEFINITELY iz FULLY FOCUSED when it comes ta all tha shit goin’ on; REALLY LUVIN’ THA FAST-ASS RAPPIN’!!!!! Tha hook sounds like it samples somethin’… My Rating: 4.4

Yes, you DO!! How will you do it within 1:58? Will it be a REALLY fast freestyle?!? >>> Sounds like a song so you KNOW this gon be on point!! Tha beginning sounds real wit dat dark beat ta back it up!! I like tha hook on this shit as you DEFINITELY “run dis shit!” Shit, I was right about tha REALLY fastness even though it ain’t a freestyle; it’s a SONG!!! You DEFINITELY spit FLAMEZ on tha 1st verse; REAL, REAL CRAZY!!! Shit yea, ALREADY up ta tha 2nd verse, doin’ tha damn thang wit 100% REAL-ASS shit spit 100’s of miles an hour!!! “Like a typewriter / “Street Fighter,” lol; good shit! My Rating: 4.9

I don’t know how this’ll be; hope it goes well… >>> Yea, a lil’ slow for a start; hope this ain’t depressin’ or anything… Not crazy ‘bout tha beat but your rappin’ DEFINITELY iz nice on somethin’ sad like dis!! Tha hook sounds like if people heard it, they would be influenced by you like they would be of Tupac at some points. Tha 2nd verse has a SHIT-LOAD of real-ass shit goin’ on here; you REALLY holdin’ it down ta keep your ratings up!!! You evadin’ tha bullshit within tha 3rd verse, as you’re tryin’ to survive all dis “pain” goin’ on here, ya dig. My Rating: 4.0

Lookin’ forward ta this one, yet, it’s anotha familiar title… >>> Not familiar wit tha soundin’ so this iz a newbie fa me. Sounds pretty catchy wit tha singin’ on tha hook ova this good beat, ya dig! Tha 1st verse iz here and you REALLY keepin’ this fast-ass rappin’ on point right chea!!! You doin’ ya thang wit how you’re imitatin’ tha pussies downin’ you, ya dig! DEFINITELY like your attitude on ALL tha tracks you be rappin’ on, ya dig!! Proceedin’ tha 2nd verse, tha 3rd verse iz here and you DEFINITELY “not givin’ a fuck” ‘bout anything, lol! Tha hook DEFINITELY has a strong hood meanin’ in it but really, no one should EVA “kill you;” you tha shit to tha fullest!!! Tha 1st verse has a shit-load o’ raps bein’ delivered so you DEFINITELY get a plus fa dat!! Tha 2nd verse sounds like you REALLY deliverin’ str8 up gangsta-ass shit to tha fullest; SUCH A GR8 VERSE!!!!! You anticipatin’ gangsta-ass shit ta lure out on tha 3rd verse I see…! REAL GOOD!!! LOL, DEFINITELY gon anticipate dis shit!! >>> Glad y’all a “clique,” label and have a sayin’ “smoke one, fool!” Tha beat here iz REAL NICE and fast and tha 1st verse sounds pretty HOT here wit tha gr8 rhymes and paced rappin’!!! Ooh, a female hopped onto tha 2nd part? Who iz it? Iz it Mia X? NICE Job though!! Tha 3rd part sounds good; “got a blunt in his mouth!” I’m DEFINITELY likin’ tha chemistry y’all have right chea!! Tha 4th part has a nice lil’ gutta voice right chea ta deliver fa tha streetz!! Tha 5th part almost sounds like my boy Beezy Bird at first; cool shit right chea! Feelin’ tha gangsta rhymes right chea; good shit once again! Tha 6th dude iz “a fuckin’ dragon,” lol! Overall: Of course, as much as my hands hurt from typin’ (and havin’ my hands stay at a keyboard all day), tha type of shit you come out wit REALLY HELPS me stay motivated on dis shit TO THA FULLEST!!! Thumbs up, Tre-8; you a FOOL wit it!!!!! Keep doin’ tha damn thang wit this gangsta-ass music and these CRAZY-ASS rhymes!!!!!
