Ya boy FrankieThaLuckyDog here, reviewin’ my ass off, ya dig!! Up next, I have this SPECIAL (1 of 2) mixtape from SK, reppin’ PA. I neva met SK (yet) but I’m cool wit his boy Rab (shout out ta Rab)! Plus, shout out ta DJ Woogie fa fuckin’ wit SK in a MAJOR way!! DJ Woogie was tha 1st Urban person EVA ta shout me out on anything back on July 18, 2003!! Wit 17 jointz on here, tha longest song’s only 2:56 and tha total length of this mixtape ain’t even a ½ hour long? I’m assumin’ it’s all freestyles? Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. “Tribute” Feat. B.I.G.
I’m guessin’ Biggie on tha feature? It has ta be since it’s a “tribute;” I doubt it’s a homie… >>> It’s okay for a start… Not much ta say ‘bout this… Tha rappin’ needs a lil’ lift in tha flow… I know you’re white but add a lil’ bit of “a”s instead of “er”s to your words and all dat, ya dig. Tha beat’s pretty good; a lil’ on tha mellow side. LOL @ tha Biggie randomly comin’ through right afta you; soundin’ good on this. My Rating: 3.4


02. “Tribute” Feat. 2Pac
Anotha “tribute,” lol? This time, wit Pac? >>> Okay, I see where you’re goin’ wit tha rhymes here, givin’ your “tribute” dedications. I like tha “gamblerholic” part; betta rhymes on this joint than tha last one! Glad you’re a “smoka” too, ya dig! LOL @ tha “my dick won’t get up” line…; not sure how I should comment… I guess I won’t. At 1:39, it sounded like I heard tha beat be pasted in or somethin’; y’all should’ve double/triple/100x-checked it, lol. It also sounds like Pac’s a lil’ off beat… My Rating: 3.5


03. “Dope Boys (Freestyle)”
Let’s see what you got here… >>> Tha beat start doesn’t really sound anticipatin’ on tha 1st few seconds but it sounds like it has a high quality so it’s soundin’ betta! I think I might’ve heard this in tha car wit Rab? I rememba tha “Hazelton” line… Feelin’ tha rhymes here; I get a Philly perspective when it comes ta hearin’ tha flow! I like tha “toilet, I’m about ta take a shit” line; feelin’ all tha rhymes comin’ through! Only verse here I guess… “Got arrested 10 times?” Shit, you might need ta jiggalate a.k.a. pop pillz ta calm down… if that’s what that does, lol. I like how tha ending ends wit tha title. My Rating: 3.7


04. “Cookin’ Soul (Freestyle)”
Nice title here; let’s see what you got goin’ on wit this joint! >>> Ooh, an intro; interestin’. I heard a “weed” quote about “tha Earth” and shit like dat; interestin’ once again. These jointz are soundin’ betta; keep ‘em comin’! Interestin’ street/drug-type song right chea! My Rating: 3.8


05. Tony Yayo Speaks on PA
LOL, represent! >>> Even though I’m not crazy about G-Unit anymore (since ’05), I must say dat he’s CORRECT when it comes ta “it ain’t just woods and deers out there.” Most definitely, there are REAL SPECIAL people like me who are REALLY on tha grind out chea in PA!! Still glad Woogie gave me a shout out on tha radio, ya dig! DEFINITE plus and a DEFINITE believer right there! I hope I meet him in person soon… My Rating: N/A


06. “Wake Up, Wake Up”
Lookin’ at tha title, it looks like it’ll be tha Missy Elliott/Jay-Z one? That came in my head ‘cause of tha ’03 Woogie shout out and that song bein’ from ’03 too… >>> Feelin’ tha intro here wit tha “bad-ass weed;” good shit! Nope, this iz not tha Missy/Jigga beat but it sounds good fa what you’re spittin’. I DEFINITELY enjoy weed-type songs so you KNOW you doin’ ya thang here even though this a lil’ too short… Ooh, you jiggalatin’ @ :47 wit “poppin’ xanex;” you powered up! My Rating: 4.3


07. “Late Night (Freestyle)”
Keep it goin’!! >>> “Broadcastin’ from tha trap in A-Town?” Iz it really someone from A-Town? Oh, shit, I thought that was Woogie in tha intro but it’s my boy DJ Scream, who in ’05, discovered me and e-mailed me! Glad you got him on tha intro right chea, ya dig! I’m hearin’ tha verse here and you got shit on lock right chea wit this beat; sounds like a Dipset-type beat almost… “Pimp from tha parkin’ lot;” a “P.I.S.K.M.P.,” lol. I like tha ending wit “anotha white boy came up.” My Rating: 3.8


08. “Big Spender”
This title looks familiar but what iz it again? >>> Oh yea, from ’07, tha Freeway/Jay-Z joint… You goin’ off on this one right chea, ya dig! Gotta luv how you comin’ through spittin’ fiya on tha track to tha fullest!! “Half a block away, you can smell tha dutch;” most definitely! You KNOW if I smelt it, it would grant me good luck, ya dig! That’s what I believe in when there’s kush in tha air! I like tha “I live large” line and tha “half a $1,000 in weed in tha pickle jar” line too; TIGHTNESS!! My Rating: 4.5


½time: I must say dat I LUV how there’s not ONE SECOND of a break here (you know how people have silence after all their songs)! That’s a DEFINITELY plus ‘cause it rolls through WITHOUT bein’ quiet! Anyway, pretty good shit so far!! It sounds like tha jointz are gettin’ betta and betta each time I hear ‘em! I’m lookin’ forward ta reviewin’ tha next one, “The Follow Up,” afta this, ya dig! Currently, tha average CD rating of this mixtape iz at 3.9 but it could change towards tha end! Stay tuned!


09. “Hip Hop Specialist”
Looks like you supplyin’ tha hood wit some HOT SHIT, ya dig!! Let’s see what’s good wit it!! >>> Yucky-ass Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em in tha beginning; could’ve subtracted him… I liked tha Jadakiss random sample dat appeared… Now, I hear you rappin’ ova this beat and yea, I see this shit gettin’ BETTA!! I like how you rappin’ on this beat as it’s DEFINITELY street shit to tha fullest! Yea, I’ll “take a reafa puff” and power up to tha fullest! Yuck, Lloyd Banks at tha end too… My Rating: 4.1


10. “Beastie Boy (Freestyle)”
This looks anticipatin’!! I wanna hear this “Beastie Boy” in action! >>> Feelin’ tha beat here; nice and upbeat. Ooh, I hear tha title and it sounds like this iz an anthem! LOL, “a Rick Ross beard!” “RAWSE!!!” Soundin’ like tha rappin’ iz a lil’ on tha Lil’ Wayne flow-type right chea… That could be a plus and also a minus when it comes ta creativity… My Rating: 4.4


11. “The Future”
You sound like you representin’ tha PA area in a GR8 way!! Let’s see what you got on this joint… >>> Oh no, a gay soundin’ beat (wit tha repeatin’ sample and shit like dat). You’re right about what you’re spittin’ though: “In tha future, I see green.” You gettin’ dat money and wit me givin’ Rab $5 for both these mixtapes, y’all DEFINITELY gettin’ ya cake up! I agree wit tha “legalize weed” part; why do tha feds give weed people a SHIT-LOAD O’ CONSEQUENCES? They should worry about pollution and litterin’!! Tha 2nd verse gives me a good feelin’, especially since you rappin’ wit a gr8 load of “weed smokin’” lyrics, ya dig! I like tha Busta Rhymes shout out at tha end too! My Rating: 3.7


12. “Family On My Back”
What does tha “family” have wit this mixtape right chea? >>> Uh no, tha “Put On” beat… Tha voice wit tha “Y’all ‘bout ta pay attention…” shit in tha beginning reminds me of Hot 93.7 in Connecticut when tha GR8 DJs like Clinton Sparks and all them down there would play exclusives!! I’m glad tha voice iz here too, ya feel me! Tha rhymes sound cool here; you got a good voice on this track right chea! “Rain, sleet or snow, I’ll be there when you need me;” GR8 line! That’s how I am wit err-body I fuck wit, ya dig! I wanna do buku thingz fa err-body and just keep grindin’ to tha fullest!! My Rating: 3.6


13. “Lollipop (Freestyle)”
Uh… no… Should I listen? >>> Even though that’s a different “Scranton’s Kid” tag in tha beginning, I remember tha “Scranton’s Kid” name from Woogie back in ’03, ya dig! Anyway, I think this beat should’ve R.I.P.’d and not have come back just now… Can’t really comment… Pretty good rappin’ but nothin’ fa me ta say. My Rating: 2.6


14. “Sublime Tribute”
I’ll LAUGH if this iz for Sublime; just seems too random!! >>> Uh no, you fuckin’ it up wit tha Auto-Tune… I dunno about Sublime but this iz cool for a Hip-Hop beat! Sounds like you’re predictin’ a bad future wit tha “I might get shot” shit; I hope you DON’T get inta any bad encounters, ya dig! I’m glad tha gay-ass Auto-Tune was just in tha beginning and not in tha song itself! “I can write a whole 16 wit my eyes closed;” skillz right there! Tha last 19 seconds wit tha “bud iz…” shit sounds REAL TIGHT!! Glad you added dat to tha song!! My Rating: 4.2


15. “My Escape”
Looks like a catchy title; what will you have ta say here? >>> Ugh @ tha intro sample… Glad you came in around tha :15 mark! You got dat hot shit comin’ so thumbs up! Tha rhymes are good here and I’m glad “your music’s your medicine!” Tha hook sounds good at tha end too! I like how you added tha “blunt of dutch!” My Rating: 3.9


16. “Murderer” Feat. Rihanna
What’s this Rihanna feature, lol? LOL, a speeded up “Unfaithful” hook, lol… Tha beat’s pretty cool but I dunno how interested I’ll be in this joint… Tha rhymes sound like they’re pretty personal in tha 1st verse; GLAD you supply tha streetz wit your “trees” and all dat good shit! You KNOW I luv my drug/weed/street-type Rap music a WHOLE LOT!! You should’ve broken it up in two different verses since it’s 2:56 on tha length ‘cause this one verse’s kinda long… My Rating: 3.2


17. “I’m Back”
How will this end it? It’s more like you’re “gone” fa this mixtape ‘cause it’s endin’! >>> Ooh, a pretty good beat fa tha ending! I like tha intro ta this joint and this sounds more like it could be an intro song, ya dig, than an outro song. I like tha “you got tha fire? Let my dutch be tha fire hydrant” line; DEFINITELY good shit right there! LOL @ tha “shit you smokin’ on smell like dog shit!” You DEFINITELY know your smokin’ pluses and minuses, lol! Nice job wit this outro! My Rating: 4.4


Overall: Started off aight but DEFINITELY picked up towards tha end, ya dig! I enjoyed tha rhymes a lot and all tha weed-type lyrics! If it’s what makes a mixtape good, it’s ALL about goin’ hard on tha tracks and spittin’ dat street shit to tha fullest!! I look forward to tha next one, which I finna review in about 30-45 minutes right afta I eat sum dinner!
