Review #933: Level "Deal Or No Deal (The Mixtape) (Hosted by Kool DJ Supamike)"
Reviewed on 4.28.2011 (Review #933)
Finally
gettin’ a chance for some reviewz… I have 14 to do, hopefully before tha month
ends. It might be hard ‘cause I need to get my radio show for 4.30 ready, get
an interview, attempt to get footage at my 1st college from their
Spring Fling tomorrow, and continue to finish up my documentary. Also,
hopefully startin’ May 1 (for tha 3rd year in a row), I’m gonna try
and get back to my “Louisiana Reviewz
Marathon”, tryin’ to only review current CDs on tha weekend (possibly
Sundays). Now dat I have my mind right, things should go well! Here’s tha 1st
review for today: Level “Deal Or No Deal (The Mixtape) (Hosted by
Kool DJ Supamike)”; don’t know why I got this so late? :confused I’m a
huge promoter and I get shit like dis late? Start Time: 11:14 AM | End
Time: 11:58 AM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0
– 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I
don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like
it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites,
I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I
love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s
considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a
5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I
listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of
tha song while I’m listening to it.

01.
“Deal Or No Deal”
>>>
“You made tha phone call [to Supamike];” how’d he answer when he can’t even
answer my fuckin’ friend request (or messages I send him)? :confused As for tha
song, thought tha singin’ would throw me off but you know I gotta luv tha title
part! Sounds like a pre-’09 Level on tha way this sounds? I guess ‘cause you’re
less-hyper, here? Nice for only one verse, though; you know what it iz! My Rating: 4.2
02.
“Hit Dat”
>>>
Funny how I pictured Lil’ Cali’s
song, for some reason. As I keep thinkin’ it’s ‘bout hittin’ a hoe, sounds like you wanna “hit dat purple!” :tu Cali
wanted ta “hit dat” when it came to tha ride; always a different result, lol!
This iz definitely catchy; thumbs up fa tha hook! How much “purp” do you smoke
a day, by tha way? Glad you doin’ ya thang wit these verses! As I mentioned in
my girl Alexia’s edition of my radio show, you gotta be ready ta handle Level,
lol! Tha 3rd verse’s soundin’ pretty nice, here; gotta luv
everything you be bringin’ to tha table, especially dat flow!! My Rating: 4.5
03.
“Goin’ Hard”
>>>
ROFL @ “Turn The Beat Up” beat; I’m definitely likin’ your rendition, here! If
you want me ta upload this mixtape onto DatPiff, ‘cause I see it’s not on
there, shoot me $20 via tha mail or $21.80 via Paypal. Good energy, here,
keepin’ shit all tha way tha dumb way!! My
Rating: 4.4
04.
“Throw It Up” Feat. Mookie & Q-Red
Let’s
keep these new songs comin’!! >>> Gonna
see Alexia today!!! WHOOO!!!! :) Hot shit—betta yet, tha best on here,
currently! Very-nice combination, here; everything combines in a real great way!! Ooh, Mookie Blakk’s on
tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some hot-ass, BR-type shit!!
Couldn’t’ve been more impressed wit somethin’ like dis! My Rating: 4.7
05.
“In Da Back” Feat. Lil’ Mista & Young Ready
>>>
Yes, keep this hot shit comin’!! This sounds a lil’ familiar but I think it’s
new fa me. Once again, you’re comin’ through wit some real hot, consistent-ass
shit!! “Fuckin’ ‘round wit Mista;” iz Lil’ Mista on tha feature? Maybe it came
from his CD? Damn, it’s not on his CD… He sounds good on tha 2nd
verse and again, familiar. You already know, dis shit iz definitely on ‘n’ poppin’!! Glad Mista’s addin’ hot shit to his
rhymes from tha “blunt” shit to tha “hit dat” shit! :tu LOL, Young Ready’s on
tha 3rd verse; anotha real hot
collaboration!! Err-body bringin’ their best, here!! “Level, pass tha blunt
back;” you already know!! My Rating: 4.6
06.
“Cut No Corners”
>>>
Kinda likin’ tha slow-soundin’ beat but likin’ tha topic betta! Tha hook’s
hella tight; shout out ta EQ on tha beat! “Ghosttown; dumb shit!” Gotta feel
it! Damn, as much as I thought tha previous song was betta, each time, it
sounds like it’s only gettin’ betta/a tie!! Once again, anotha
consistently-handled joint from you, Level! Keep tha hot shit comin’!! My Rating: 4.5
07.
“Grindtime” Feat. Savage
>>>
Tha Birdman sample on tha hook sounds good; you seem to get my interest, no
matter what! While I might hate on a mainstream sample, you pick somethin’ dat
I will like! LOL, really feelin’ tha
flow, here; definitely A+ to tha
fullest!!! Glad you luv dis shit at all
times!! Ooh, “shit yea” (as he would say), Savage’s on tha 2nd verse
and he’s comin’ through wit a great
vibe, here!! Definitely one of tha
best-soundin’ Savage verses I have heard in a minute!! Everything he spittin’,
here, iz for tha streetz and tha flow/energy iz hella tight!!! I hope ta interview him fa my radio show—answer your
texts, Sav!! My Rating: 4.7
08.
“Let Me In” Feat. Mz. Trill
>>>
Alexia!! Ooh, tha theme kinda flows wit it when it comes to her boyfriend!
Still luvin’ how you come through wit tha entertainin’-“ass” rhymes, lol! What
else could you ask for when it’s a song like dis, lol? Hook iz definitely off tha hook!!! Ooh, Mz.
Trill’s makin’ an appearance on tha 3rd verse; definitely on her
A-game, here!!! My Rating: 4.5
09.
“Ass Ackin’”
Tha
“ackin’” caught me off-guard but it was 2ooley & 2 Slugz “Still Ackin’”
that I thought of. >>> Anyway, anotha hot one from you; glad you
keepin’ dis “ass” theme goin’, no less in a different perspective! Stronger
energy, here; “I’ll stomp you to tha ground!” Damn! Nothin’ betta than hearin’
some of tha tightest deliveries wit your flow!! I like dat “I be—I be ass
ackin’” part in tha hook; you know what it iz!! My Rating: 4.5
½time: Damn, you comin’ through
wit some of tha hottest shit, once again!! What else could I ask for you to
deliver? You already got shit on lock!! A 4.5-rated CD, currently, possibly up for a 5-star
rating!!!!
10.
“Let Me Get Dat”
>>>
LOL, this iz hella catchy, too! Feelin’ tha beat, tha singin’ throughout tha
hook, and how you repeat tha title durin’ tha 2nd ½ of tha hook, Baton Rouge style!! Nice
job wit tha verses, too; gotta (Alexia voice) “luv it!!” My Rating: 4.6
11.
“Is U Wet Yet (Remix)” Feat. Dorrough
LOL…
>>> Oh, didn’t realize dis was tha “remix,” at first. I guess ‘cause
it’s this kinda song, I guess it’s okay ta have Dorrough on it; a lil’ cheesy,
though, lol, which I might like tha original version betta. My Current Rating: 4.0
12.
“Out Tha Frame” Feat. Box
>>>
An EQ production… Damn, I heard dis; lemme see where I heard it from… Okay, I
don’t remember where tha previous review iz, but I remember this was really high
wit tha rating ‘cause of your flow/catchiness! Oh shit, it’s Box on tha
feature; no wonder… Now, I know where
it came from! Tha rating went up! My
Current Rating: 4.8
13.
“Throw Me On Her” Feat. Max Minelli
>>>
Anotha good/decent song; fits perfect wit dis CD. This sounds a lil’ familiar
wit all tha “titties” and shit. Okay, Max Minelli on tha feature? Not sure
where it would’ve came from but yea, Max adds dat spice ta dis track! My Rating: 4.3
14.
“’Bout My Money” Feat. Box & EQ
>>>
Kinda bad for me but I won’t knock it too much… Let’s see if features are on
here to help… LOL, Box again! Okay, definitely
helps wit this fast-ass shit he spittin’! Kinda takes tha distraction away, a
lil’. I had to look online to see who was on tha 3rd verse and it’s EQ;
would’ve neva guessed… As for his verse, it’s just about okay/below average for
me; very typical wit tha rhymes. Overall, Box only satisfied me wit dis… My Rating: 4.1
15.
“Reverse”
This
looks like it could be entertainin’ wit this short title and tha name of it!
>>> I don’t know why all these songs are soundin’ familiar but are not
appearin’ in my iTunes? Definitely feelin’ tha hook and you got tha 1st
verse on lock wit your flow, once again!! Tha rest of this shit’s pretty nice,
too; glad you keepin’ shit catchy! My
Rating: 4.4
16.
“Break It Off” Feat. IL Duce
>>>
Sounds crazy, in a good way, wit dis Foxx sample! Gotta keep it goin’ wit you,
here, doin’ tha damn thang wit your catchiness at all times!! Damn, without findin’ a search result, it was kinda
hard ta find out who was on tha 2nd verse. But, you know I ID’d it as my boy IL Duce, doin’
tha damn thang!! My Rating: 4.4
17.
“I’m Da Shit”
>>>
EQ on tha beat and this iz anotha familiar-soundin’ song. Either way, anotha
catchy song, too, lol! Tha way you hold notes iz hella catchy, no matter what you rap about!! Nice job, once
again! My Rating: 4.3
18.
“I’m Leavin’ You” Feat. April Reign
LOL,
tha full version, even though you
sent me it a while ago! This now
sounds like tha perfect song to present to…—well, I’ll leave it blank, for now,
lol! My Current Rating: 4.0
19.
“He Say, She Say”
Familiar
title; how we gon end it? >>> I don’t think I eva heard dis; anotha
catchy song from you when it comes ta any kinda audience, regardless of gender.
I’m likin’ tha gangsta shit, here; very consistent, although bleh @ tha “Waka
Flocka” quote? LOL, I think he should just live in 2010—oh yea, keep forgettin’
this iz 2010. My Rating: 4.2
Overall: You did it, once again,
Level!! Anotha 5-star-rated CD you put out, even though I’m a lil’ late at
receivin’ it (mp3, no less)!! Keep up tha great
work!! I’m sure you have anotha mixtape out by now, or am I confusin’ tha
times?

“Damn It Feel Good To Be In Ruff Sqaad”
LOL
@ tha long title… >>> Good intro… Iz “sqaad” equivalent ta “squad”?
This sounds a lil’ catchy; I’ll give you props fa this, includin’ tha beat you
chose ta rap on. I think you could’ve fixed tha quality on your mic/volume, a
lil’; would’ve sound betta! My Rating: 3.7
02.
“You’re Gonna Luv Me”
>>>
Not a good beat you chose but I’ll try ta just listen to your rhymes…
Consistent; sounds good and lol @ tha “Lego” line. I like tha shit you spit,
here; good job… My Rating: 3.8
03.
“My Clones”
>>>
Bleh @ tha beat choice and thumbs down ta tha Jay-Z flow, mainly ‘cause that’s
what tha beat iz? :td Lots of raps, here, but low interest fa me, especially
when I heard tha word “swag.” My Rating:
2.7
04.
“Hero”
>>>
A lil’ betta but no feedback from me. My
Rating: 3.0
05.
“Get Down”
>>>
Anotha poor beat choice, especially durin’ shitty times throughout my life. Tha
rhymes are betta, here; at least I’m likin’ ‘em… My Rating: 3.6
06.
“Only You (Remix)”
>>>
Sounds like a horrible beat choice… Just wonderin’, what about Soundclick? Or
Vybe? They got some good beats that I can tolerate. Anyway, rhymes are good
here, too, although tha mic sounds a lil’ too high wit tha volume, again, at
times? Soundin’ scary wit tha singin’; betta stop tha feedback, now! My Rating: 3.1
07.
“Kick Beef” Feat. Slim
A
feature? Maybe I’ll take dis more serious? >>> Okay, I can; a lil’
messy wit tha mic volume but I’ll deal wit this… Tha rhymes are a lil’ babyish
in tha beginning…; tha rhymes are slowly startin’ ta progress, a lil’… Slim
sounds like a good feature wit what he has ta offer for tha ladies, here; I
rather’ve heard a gangsta/hood song than a female song, here. My Rating: 3.8
½time: A 3.4-rated CD, currently.
08.
“Sound Like A Love Song”
>>>
Are you serious?!? I don’t need to be scared! Rhymes are a
lil’ cocky; no pluses, here! My Rating: 1.4
09.
“Keep It G”
>>> LOL @ “bruh” plus this beat; what a mix I would’ve neva expected… Volume on tha mic’s fucked up but tha rhymes are betta, luckily… Glad you clearin’ up tha fakes, here. My Rating: 3.6
>>> LOL @ “bruh” plus this beat; what a mix I would’ve neva expected… Volume on tha mic’s fucked up but tha rhymes are betta, luckily… Glad you clearin’ up tha fakes, here. My Rating: 3.6
10.
“Elevated”
Over
five minutes on tha length? >>> This sounds a lil’ catchier; I like tha hook, although tha volume on tha mic’s a
lil’ high? Damn, I think it just got a lil’ higher on tha 1st verse,
lol? Somewhat clearin’ up as tha verse progresses… A lil’ catchy wit tha
rhymes, once again, but nothin’ I’d die for. My Rating: 3.6
11.
“My Licks”
>>>
ROFL, what tha hell? Even though this iz hella disgusting (“balls” it sounds
like?) (well, I think tha context
means “licks” as far as tha streetz), this iz hella entertainin’, at tha same
time. Rhymes are aight, here, but even down to tha beat you chose sounds a lil’
entertainin’… My Rating: 3.9
12.
“Tha Telly”
This
file doesn’t work. My Rating: N/A
13.
“My Ego”
Tha
previous one that didn’t work was a bonus; how come so many bonuses?
>>> Now, it sounds like you’re behind tha beat, here, verses tha
too-loud shit from before. Rhymes are aight, overall… My Rating: 3.2
14.
“Fire Flame (Remix)” Feat. Lil’ Wayne & Birdman
>>>
Sorry, deduction for automatically havin’ non-real features; that’s how it
goes! Anyway, distracted and low interest, here. My Rating: 2.1
15.
“I’m A Soulja”
>>>
At least tha jacked beat, here, iz actual Louisiana music. LOL, I see you changed your
voice style, here; good shit… I have a lil’ bit more interest, here; tha voice
on tha 1st verse iz prolly tha voice I wanted ta hear, all along.
Nice ending, but mostly random rappin’ fa me. My Rating: 3.8
Overall: I dunno if this was
better or worse than tha previous CD I reviewed from you; I assume it was a
lil’ better? Not sure, but we’ll see what you got fa Round 3 in tha future.

Got
two reviewz fa today; tha 1st one iz from 2009: Black 9 “Thug Music Vol. 1”,
representin’ fa tha N.O., here! I believe shortly afta tha passing of Twelve
A’Klok in August 2010, he discovered me; that’s how I found out about him. Start

– 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I
don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it!
I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I

“I’m Back”
“Back”?
This was tha 1st time I heard of you. >>> Good intro and,
of course, gotta luv dis! Tha New Orleans dialect iz definitely crazy, here! Very consistent wit tha rhymes!! You definitely got shit poppin’ fa err-body,
here, especially tha undaground!! My
Rating: 4.5
02.
“I’ll Do It 2 Ya”
Keepin’
it goin’! >>> Definitely
sounds nice; really sounds like Soulja Slim, here!! What else could I expect
from you otha than some of tha best-soundin’
N.O.-type shit fa tha after-’04 era? A+, here!! My Rating: 4.7
03.
“Category 9” Feat. Aukilya & Dot
This
looks like it gon be hella tight, too! >>> Ooh, definitely feelin’ tha production, here; you got shit on lock in a major way!!! Tha 1st verse definitely has shit on lock wit dis
content and everything goin’ on wit tha lyrics!!! Tha beat’s too hot and everything’s comin’ inta
play, here!! Really feelin’ all tha “bruh” parts, too; crazy-ass shit,
overall!! You holdin’ down tha hook in a huge
way; one of tha best voices out there!!! Tha 2nd verse sounds good
fa tryna ‘get out tha water;’ anotha real
nice verse!! Tha 3rd verse iz on a gangsta tip; nothin’ beats dis
shit!! Definitely one of tha best-soundin’ New Orleans songs in tha past few years!!!
Maybe, I should also say, one of tha best-soundin’
New Orleans CDs in tha past few years, too!!! My Rating: 4.9
04.
“My Niggaz” Feat. Aukilya
Really
lookin’ forward, once again!! This izn’t on tha Amazon tracklisting?
>>> “Neva Eva” beat, here? Wouldn’t’ve expected it but it sounds
just-as-good fa tha N.O., here; Aukilya’s a great
person ta team up wit!! Real nice job wit tha 1st verse, here; what
else could I expect from a tight dude like you?!? Tha 2nd verse must
be Aukilya; A+++!!!!! Nothin’ but a crazy-ass dude from tha hood, here!!!
Tha 3rd verse iz real nice
from you, too! “I smoke a lotta marijuana;” gotta luv what you spittin’,
although, “’cause I see death around tha corner”? Why tha negative thought?
:confused You gon be alive fa a long
time and you know I gon meet you, ya
dig? My Rating: 4.8
05.
“I’ll Do It 2 Ya (Remix)” Feat. Dot & Eternal
Glad there’s features and shit
yea, a remix!! >>> Sounds like some good production, once again; you
got shit on lock wit how you make your jointz sound!! This sounds just-as-good;
might like tha original version a lil’ betta but tha features are still ta
come! Of course, comin’ through wit some of tha hottest street shit on tha 1st
verse; glad you thug so much, dawg!
It’s definitely payin’ off wit dis
music!! Tha 2nd verse iz hella tight wit this street/gangsta shit,
too; likin’ tha “dragon” line! Tha 3rd verse sounds nice, too; I’m
easy to impress when it comes ta this shit, ya heard me? Nice 62-second outro,
too; keep tha talkin’ comin’! My Rating:
4.6
06.
“My City”
Anotha
one not on tha Amazon tracklisting? >>> No wonder, it’s a jacked beat,
too? Both tracklistings have 17 songs; how iz this possible? :confused Even
though this beat’s a lil’ gay, at least your rhymes are good/gangsta, once
again, lol! Tha 3rd hook sounds off-beat, lol? For a jacked-beat
song, this iz a lil’ too long; prolly could’ve been a lil’ shorter… My Rating: 3.7
07.
“Lost Myself”
“My
self” iz really a compound word. >>> I like how dis sounds, especially
since it’s uptempo, a lil’! You got tha hook on lock, here, keepin’ it hot fa
tha “whole damn club!” Gotta luv your “wahhh” shit; nice introduction to tha 2nd
verse, my boy! You gettin’ err-body’s attention, here; keep this shit up!! My Rating: 4.4
08.
“I Survived” Feat. ZooRoo & Tweet
Not
on tha Amazon tracklisting; must be jacked? >>> Oh yes, it iz; good
choice, here! Tha 1st verse sounds pretty consistent wit tha rhymes;
this shit can’t be stopped!! Ooh, tha hook’s definitely more consistent!!! Gotta luv tha “wit tha weed, lil’
nigga” shit, especially all tha amount of things said!! Tha 2nd
verse sounds good, too; this anotha great collaboration dat you got, here! Here
you are on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit some of dat tight-ass
gangsta shit, as always!! My Rating: 4.3
½time: Up to tha ½ point of this
CD, and you’re at a 4.5 for tha CD rating, currently; definite thumbs
up!!!!! It goes ta show you how much dis gangsta shit pay$ off!!!
09.
“Ride Or Die” Feat. Greg
This
looks anticipatin’… >>> Shit yea, feelin’ tha intro wit tha both of
y’all! Ooh, tha “get high” shit in tha hook sounds nice; glad you keepin’ it gangsta at all
times!!! Handin’ out a “questionaire,” huh? That’s what’s up; you are tha answers to all these wack
people!! Tha 2nd verse’s keepin’ shit on ‘n’ poppin’, too; lookin’
forward ta hearin’ Greg spit some shit!! Greg sounds a lil’ laidback but I can
feel tha street shit he spittin’, here; thumbs up fa bringin’ him on your CD!
Damn, this dude doesn’t stop wit tha
consistent rhymes!! Great delivery; sounds like he’s answerin’ tha “questionaire” you were talkin’ ‘bout, earlier, lol! My Rating: 4.4
10.
“I Don’t Know” Feat. Eternal & G-Blak
Looks
anticipatin’ wit tha features!! >>> Sounds good and I’m glad it starts wit one of tha features!!
Nice job wit tha 1st verse, representin’, here!! Tha hook iz definitely tha shit, in a way! I feel
exactly how y’all feel about tha “I don’t know” shit, when it comes ta people
“ridin’ fa (y’all)!” You know I hold
err-body down; I can sense who’s bullshittin’, already! Tha 2nd
verse sounds good, too; 504 to tha fullest, here! You’re on tha 3rd
verse and you got some good, real shit, on ‘n’ poppin’!! “Bustin’ bullets like
semen,” lol! Good outro from Eternal, outta nowhere!! My Rating: 4.5
11.
“Road Dawg”
Must
be jacked since it’s not in tha Amazon tracklisting… >>> Doesn’t sound
that jacked ta me; sounds good… Tha rhymes sound good, mainly for your “road dawg;”
interestin’ shit, once again, on a “friend” tip. Overall, catchy song… My Rating: 4.0
12.
“New Orleans”
Feat. Lyrical, K-Slim & Dot
Yes,
features!! >>> Ooh, an original beat tag in tha beginning; sounds like
it could be somethin’ hot!! Damn, what a nice
1st verse; gotta luv dis hot,
504-type shit!!! You’re on tha 2nd verse and yes, it’s soundin’
good; you know how you do!! Tha 3rd verse iz pretty serious, here;
gotta luv who you recruit on tha
track!!! :tu “So fuck wit me, you lookin’ ta die like drunk drivers;” whoa!! My Rating: 4.7
13.
“Grind/Hustle” Feat. Twelve A’Klok
You
know afta I heard this song from you,
for tha 1st time, you know
I took it serious! Gave it a spin on my radio show ASAP and as for tha song,
tha beat’s nice and tha hook’s definitely
tha truth when it comes to tha “grind” and tha “hustle,” ya feel me?! Nice job
wit tha 1st verse and your real-ass shit fa tha streetz! You always hold it down, bruh!! Twelve’s on
tha 2nd verse and you already know wit him; nothin’ but tightness and
consistency!! Gotta luv your 3rd verse; “dope game movin’ slow like
a turtle!” You always come through
wit not only some real tight shit, but you have some catchy lines, too!! :tu
Forgot what I rated this on my 4th mixtape compilation but you know I definitely like this more, now
that I’m in a great mood from this
CD!! My Current Rating: 4.7
14.
“In Dis”
This
iz labeled as “In Dis” on tha Amazon tracklisting; got confused (since it’s
labeled as “DT/UPT”… >>> Gotta like tha Bounce sample for tha start/beat!
“DJ Chicken on tha beat,” lol! Nice job wit tha hook, here; good shit you got!
Tha rhymes sound a lil’ faster than usual; nice, 504-related shit, here! Tha
final verse on this shit sounds really consistent wit tha amount of shit you
deliverin’!! My Rating: 4.3
15.
“Knock Knock”
Anotha
one not on tha Amazon tracklisting? >>> Ooh, I’m likin’ dis one betta!
I like how it’s even faster, too; crazy shit, Bounce style!! Nice and
consistent wit all tha shit goin’ on, here; lol, can’t resist dis crazy shit!!!
LOL, you got me dancin’ in tha middle of this review, lol!!! Glad you refer
Magnolia Shorty’s “Monkey On Tha Dick” song, here! Even though she was still

A+ production and tha rhymes are nice, too! I agree wit you “not tryna sound
like him [Soulja Slim];” I like dat your voice
sounds like him but you’re you, ya dig? Tha 2nd verse sounds good
wit how you deliverin’ shit, once again; gotta feel it! Tha 3rd
verse iz a good look at your perspective and what you “choose;” thumbs up, once
again! My Rating: 4.3

Source (Where I Got Tha CD From): Google
01. Intro
Lookin’ forward ta hearin’! >>> Classic “waaaaah” beginning and “wazzam” shit; already feelin’ anticipated wit tha dialect!! Glad this iz a long intro; y’all can talk as long as y’all wa—damn, singin’ came outta nowhere? Would’ve rather heard all talkin’ but I guess it fits fa tha street content. LOL @ how it said, “because,” at around 1:47; sounded hella fast, lol. My Rating: N/A
02. “Taliban Anthem”
>>> Definitely a nice beat start and tha vibe iz strong, too!! Good shit on this hook; definitely gutta to tha bone! Good job wit this street shit, ya heard me? All tha verses go hard and by havin’ an “anthem,” it definitely says somethin’, ya dig? My Rating: 4.3
03. “Blowin’ Stacks At The Mall” Feat. Wacko
I believe this was tha single? Let’s see dis “blowin’ stacks”-type of joint… >>> This sounds good fa me; I like dis fa an okay-soundin’ song. Tha 1st verse sounds consistent wit tha rappin’; nothin’ wrong, here. Tha 2nd verse sounds a lil’ betta wit tha anti-“police”-type of vibe, here. Tha 3rd verse ain’t too bad; oh, it’s Wacko on tha feature; thought it was someone else ‘cause y’all spelled his name wit an “H”, smh. My Rating: 4.1
04. “Gun Under My Arm”
This should be good, based off tha content! >>> Sounds nice, undaground style! Tha rhymes, of course, sound good fa tha content! Tha 2nd verse iz nice; gotta feel how y’all represent fa tha 504! My Rating: 4.3
05. “Rock To This”
>>> Tha beginning sounds like it could sound like some older Louisiana music… This sounds like it could be a decent song, overall; I like tha random Bounce sample rhythms durin’ tha verses… Tha verses are aight; overall, it sounds good fa a song… My Rating: 3.8
06. “Take No Shit”
That’s tha attitude I wanna hear! >>> Definitely nice production, here; gotta feel tha old-soundin’ Southern style! Nice job wit this attitude, all tha way through! Tha hook has dat attitude dat I feel; nothin’ but nice shit! For a longer song, I don’t mind; tha attitude iz here, so all tha rhymes and verses are consistent. My Rating: 4.4
07. “Corporation Company”
Gotta luv these “C” words, lol! >>> Tha production sounds a lil’ mainstream, Jeezy style, but tha content sounds like it’s on lock. LOL, tha 1st verse sounds like Bro-Bro from Baton Rouge/Jazzy Fam Records, a lil’, lol! Definitely entertainin’, here, fa tha streetz! Tha 2nd verse sounds nice, too; keep this hot, street shit up! My Rating: 4.3
08. Skit
Shit yea, a skit? >>> Yea! Glad this iz at least a minute long! Almost sounds like rhymes, a lil’; not bad… My Rating: N/A
½time: Feelin’ tha street shit y’all got goin’ on, here; you know what it iz! A 4.2-rated CD, currently; keep this shit up!!
09. “President Black”
ROFL, goes wit tha skit and lol, don’t think this iz that special anymore (tha topic). >>> A lil’ smoother wit tha beat but sounds faster; lol, weird combo. I’m likin’ tha vibe comin’ from tha fastness and how tha “hook” iz based off Murphy Lee’s “What Da Hook Gon Be?”, a lil’. Tha rhymes are interestin’, a lil’; some parts of this song’s nice and some sounds cheesy fa me. My Rating: 3.9
10. “Choppas On Deck” Feat. Wacko
Yay, anotha collab wit Wacko, street style! >>> Nice intro from him; this iz gonna be tight! Nice shit goin’ on, here, “taliban” style, lol! Wacko sounds hella tight wit this gutta shit he spittin’ fa tha gangstas; you know what it iz! My Rating: 4.4
11. “Uptown/Downtown Shit”
I like this title; 504 representin’!! >>> Decent/good start; nothin’ bad, here… Kinda long, overall; prolly could’ve been around tha 3:00 – 3:30 mark. My Rating: 3.8
12. “’Bout That”
>>> This sounds a lil’ betta and tha length iz what I wanted to expect. Nice job wit keepin’ tha street shit alive and tha beat sounds good, too. Damn, feature on tha 2nd verse? Sounds like a crazy dude!! Almost sounds like T-Bo, a lil’ bit, but they’re doin’ tha damn thang! My Rating: 4.0
13. “Quick Like Mike”
Interestin’ “quick” assumption, here; what will this sound like? >>> I like tha somewhat-soundin’ Baton Rouge beat start; lookin’ forward ta hearin’… Tha 1st verse sounds good; once again, feelin’ tha street shit! Tha 2nd verse sounds good, too; y’all got shit on lock wit this consistent, N.O. music! My Rating: 4.1
14. “Get Out The Way”
>>> “Survival Corporation [Entertainment] iz tha muthafuckin’ label,” fuckin’ rite! Sounds like a tight anthem fa tha label, here; good job wit tha content, as always!! Nice job wit tha verses but there’s nothin’ like dat hook! “We gon always keep it street;” no other “way” ta do it in tha N.O.! I think someone else iz featured on this joint, too? Who are these mysterious features? Somethin’ on D O B E R W O R L D’s blog says, “features Lil’ Osama, Big Atta & more.” My Rating: 4.3
15. Outro
A 5:01 outro? What do we got, here? >>> Sounds like some Country, ‘40s chantin’ or somethin’, lol? Wayyyyyyyyyy too long; did this even belong here? Should’ve been about four minutes shorter but it was good, at times… My Rating: N/A
16. “Blowin’ Stacks At The Mall (Remix)” Feat. Wacko
No title, lol? Could wonder what dis iz… >>> Sounds like “Blowin’ Stacks At The Mall”? Guess it’s a remix since it’s longer; not sure what else ta say, lol? My Rating: 4.1
Overall: This was a good CD; nice job, guys, and keep up tha good work!

This next review iz from 2009; Survival Corporation “Taliban Gunsmoke”; sounds a lil’ anticipatin’ fa an N.O. album… Start Time: 3:16 PM | End Time: 3:52 PM
Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.
