Review #1,774: Johnny Hu$tle "Forged In Fire"

Reviewed on 5.30.2018 (Review #1,774)

Wow, this seems exciting… Not that I have much time for it, these dayz, but it’s a review! Got my boy, Johnny Hu$tle, wit his Forged In Fire CD, courtesy of FreeUrself Entertainment (or, betta yet, Dirty Management & Cash’n Out Entertainment)! Haven’t reviewed in a minute, as I been busy wit work/payin’ off da car, as well as tryna get my video shit done… Gotta love Hu$tle! Aye, I’m fulla dem edibles, as we speak, ya heard me? Hu$tle & I known each otha fa a minute (I first heard him on November 8, 2008 on Down Bad’s The Sickest 2K8); good peoples! Can’t wait ta kick it witchu in BR, one of these dayz! It’s comin’! Start Time: 2:41 PM | End Time: 4:36 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> “ iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> “ iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

© 2018 CD Review (Review #1,774) reviewed on 5.30.2018 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Stompin’ (Remix)” feat. Eat ‘Em
I believe I know Eat ‘Em from me bein’ at tha Charcoal Lounge, last year, on June 22, 2017 w/D-Soulja! >>> Dosha on tha beatz, here… Definitely sounds nice, here… Good shit wit how you “stompin’” your way through tha 1st verse! You always got some catchy music comin’ through! I like how Eat ‘Em randomly sneaks in durin’ tha hook… And, hearin’ Eat ‘Em on tha 2nd verse… Definitely gotta respect how he comin’ through wit his presence… His fast part? I’ono, but at least it was only an 1/8, like bud, lol! My Rating: 4.8

02. “Born 2 Roll” with DJ Ya Boy Earl
Makin’ an extra appearance on this track, I see? >>> Glad he still “Chicken & Watermelon!” Nice lil’ good-soundin’ intro like it was a decade ago!! Consistent rhymes ova this ‘90s-remade track, here… Glad you always “born 2 roll!” Just heard from ya on Instagram and I’m glad you got love fa ya boy!! Just as you thought tha 1st verse was pretty dope, here comes tha 2nd verse, consistently deliverin’ it!! My Current Rating: 4.7

03. “A Brick”
Only 2:09 but Hu$tle gon bring dat bricktastic street, jammin’, etc.-kinda vibe to da earz?! >>> Dosha Burna Beatz! Sounds like an icky, swampy-type vibe fa dis edibles trip!! 3:07!! She strikes again!! Definitely feelin’ what you & Dosha bringin’ to tha consistent table, here! Y’all definitely talented, to tha fullest!! “Dick like a half a brick,” like tha title! I’m not even lookin’ at what I’m typin’, here, and it seems perfect, with agility!! Nice job wit tha hook, right there! Y’all got this swampy vibe on lock!! “Like a sweat catch a nut;” Hu$tle in tha muthafuckin’ buildin’!! He definitely got tha “A” game on lock, like tha “USA,” like my shirt!! My Rating: 4.8

04. “HGSS”
Let’s see what—oh, “Hu$tle Gang”-somethin’, lol? Random thought while on dat good! >>> Definitely feelin’ tha lil’ shmokin’ beginning, as well as this grimy shit you gon bring to da table? Definitely feelin’ tha production… Kinda reminds me of somethin’ in tha mainstream, but wit a cool, undaground-kinda sound… You got tha consistent rhymes goin’ on throughout tha 1st verse… “Hu$tle, Grind, Stack, Splurge!” That’s what you got goin’ on, durin’ tha hook! Definitely catchy and infectious, here! You “came up out a diamond mine” on tha 2nd verse, here! Definitely dope! Gotta go ape shit and feel like a celeb when tha clock hits “10:01!” Gotta love your birthday time/your birthday; king shit!! My Rating: 4.6

05. “Can’t See Dat” feat. Doshaburna
Exactly how I feel on how I “can’t see” all tha jealous/envious ones! I be shinin’ hard, these dayz, and am only growin’!! >>> Kinda sounds like a lil’ mainstream vibe, here… However, I ain’t got nothin’ ta say about it… I’m feelin’ what you bringin’ to tha table, here! Definitely feelin’ what you bringin’ to tha table, as well as collabin’ wit Dosha Burna, again! Tha hook sounds simple and straight; that’s about it… Oh, even a hidden feature on tha 2nd verse from Dosha! Glad he still “a weed head;” it’s only bigger from this point on!! Dosha, a.k.a. Piz Corleone… My Rating: 4.3

06. “Bad Yeah” feat. Doonie with DJ Ya Boy Earl
Shit “yeah!!” I remember reviewin’ this live, last year on May 6, in my car, down tha trippy South Canaan, PA & it’s definitely poppin’!! Crazy: Added it at 3:07 PM on that day and now, it’s 3:26 PM; birthdayz always collide!! But “yeah,” there’s a live review video of that, too, on YouTube; great shit! Definitely one of tha most-anticipatin’ tracks I reviewed!! Definitely love how it remakes “Back That Azz Up” and you deliver tha catchiness, wit Doonie sneakin’ in on tha 2nd verse! Definitely nice and yeah, I said more in tha live review in tha car… #16 on my Top 568 Songs of 2017 & iz gonna be featured in one of my video countdowns, comin’ in tha future (FTLD’z Top 100 Songs While @ His 1st Job)! Stay tuned fa dat, as I’m filmin’ that next month! Gonna be one of tha most-anticipated countdowns of mine ta date!! My Current Rating: 5.0

07. “Triumph” feat. Justin Plummer
Let’s see how you handlin’ these wins, my boy!! >>> Kinda sounds like it’d be a lil’ catchy fa a lil’ faster track… It sounds like you almost readin’ tha rhymes in tha beginning… You got a feature not even 30 seconds in; good shit… Can’t thank of who it iz but they should be listed! Eat ‘Em got his cake; others deserve to eat it, too, lol… We even got more mysterious-type features on tha 2nd verse, here… Definitely sounds like a consistent vibe; definitely nice! Now, you comin’ through on tha 3rd verse; definitely nice… My Rating: 4.2

08. “Pop Like Dis”
Gotta love how you got a lotta tracks between 2:00 – 2:59; quick and poppin’, ya dig? Can’t wait ta hear “dis” one!! >>> And, as we continuin’ from remakin’ some older tunes, here comes “My Neck, My Back” in tha beginning… And, here comes you on tha 1st verse, as tha beat turns into a crunk-soundin’ sound from tha undaground that I would produce? Luv how you got “dis” ass-catchin’ vibe, here! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it sounds like you got a decade-advanced version of Y.B. For Initials, here, hence that you’re a decade older than him… Definitely feelin’ what you attractin’ to tha table, here! My Rating: 4.5

½time: A 4.6-rated CD; definitely refreshin’ from all bullshit goin’ on, these dayz!! Luv all tha bangaz you bringin’ to tha table, in your undaground, club, street, catchy, cool perspective, here!!

09. “Freestyle” with DJ Ya Boy Earl
No title, lol? Just an Earl skit? “Les’see” (my 2018 version of “leggo” called “les’see!!” See, you REALLY can create magic while high!!)!! >>> A lil’ intro from Earl, here, wit you comin’ through wit a freestyle, here; definitely nice! Know I heard it from somewhere, once before, but can’t remember? Definitely a consistent freestyle tha whole way round! Like how it’s right in tha middle of tha CD; good placement! Like how you sound in tha background, includin’ how you sayin’, “Long live Loc,” at 2:20; good shit… My Rating: 4.1

10. “Hu$tle Humble”
Tha “H”z strike again! Should be a “humble” way of greatness, here! >>> Sounds like a random freestyle, once again… Tha hook sounds catchy, as if it was a mainstream track in tha mainstream… Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad, here; great shit… Mainly, just a borderline-mainstream-soundin’ track, here… My Rating: 3.7

11. “Hu$tle Bop”
I already know about this one… And, THA BEST FEELING OF BEING HIGH IZ…………………………………… >>> Hearin’ my tag in tha beginning ‘cause of my YouTube upload! It’s 2018 & I’m gonna be 30; I feel tha value, now!! I like this a lot betta than when I first did… Somethin’ about how I connect wit it eva since my 1st job gave me anxiety! I turned ta my ’82 – ’84 babies as tha biggest celebz in tha world, ya dig? Just luvin’ tha upbeatness, as always! Hu$tle, one of tha ones that inspires me to be as cool as I always gon continue ta be! Thinkin’ ‘bout myself when this was on my playlist five years ago… Just rockin’ dem Girbauds, headin’ home from NY to PA on February 18, 2013, right before I helped B-Real out wit his equipment… I love how I’m bound ta be peoples’ lifesaver! My Current Rating: 4.9

12. “It’s Up” with DJ Ya Boy Earl
Gotta keep it “up!!” >>> I’ono about Earl’s intro, here… My 1st topic I counteracted on in my latest video interview on me was how they think of stereotypin’ Baton Rouge as only “makin’ jigg music.” If you listen now, there’s quite tha amount of mainstream, “money”-soundin’ bullshit, these dayz! Look how my interest went far down! It’s tryna survive, day by day, month by month! Anyway, Biggie throwback beat to rap on, here, and good rhymes throughout tha 1st verse… A catchy lil’ repetitive hook, too; can’t deny it… Sometimes, lookin’ at your back on tha artwork’s front cover looks like there’s almost a big butterfly on your back. That’s what I see in my tripped-out mind… Like, I know I can see a brown butterfly!! But yeah, not bad wit tha 2nd verse; I’m not tha most-fascinated over remakes but I’ll give it some sorta plus… My Rating: 3.5

13. “Kill Them Niggaz” with DJ Ya Boy Earl
Keepin’ it goin’… >>> Likin’ Earl in this intro, over this quieter-soundin’ dark beat… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and yeah, “Tha game iz really bluesin’;” I agree! Tha hook toward tha end sounds like I done heard tha sayin’ from somewhere, almost like in a song, too? Tha 2nd verse kinda short, here, soundin’ good ta hear, too… Jumpin’ right back in with tha 3rd verse, here, soundin’ good… A 4th verse, here, slickin’ tha “dog” tricks, here! Tha 5th verse, here, “fetchin’” wit more “dog” shit, like a dog’s shit, lol! Likin’ how tha outro’s “roll anotha blunt and lemme talk my shit!” How about, eat anotha edible? Highs are tha righ way!! My Rating: 3.9

14. “If It’s Real” with DJ Ya Boy Earl
This’ll prolly be good, too; what route we headin’ to? Can’t wait till what I got in stores fa next month, despite how quiet I’ve been in tha game! I’ve been channelin’ tha right energy!! >>> Good intro from Earl and yeah, “it’s jammin’;” definitely a plus! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it sounds like some rappin’ to just rap through tha CD, here; can’t deny it… “Neva promotin’ fake, even if it’s for a mill!” I got that mind, now! Can’t believe tha bullshit I promoted in my 20’s! My 30’s? Shiiid, that’s where only tha real be at!! Tha hook sounds aight, here; not much ta say… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and you got this shit goin’ on, here! “Styrofoam cup fulla lean!” Can’t wait ta sip witchu, one day!! Good shit throughout tha rest of tha verse; do yo shit, dawg! My Rating: 4.0

15. “Right Na” with DJ Ya Boy Earl
[No preview; let’s hear what’s next…] >>> Doshaburna Beats, here! Sounds like it gon be an anthem, even tho I’ono about a “money” anticipation? Hearin’ you on tha hook and it sounds like I heard this from somewhere… Definitely catchy-ass shit, regardless of what remakin’ route or catchy route it’s goin’… Sounds like a good 1st verse, here, as you got a Lil’ Hu$tle, now… What will he be like in tha game in 2037? Enterin’ tha 20’s? What will tha world be like by then? How much bigger will I be? Can’t imagine!! Good job wit tha 1st verse and catchy shit comin’ outta tha “right na” flow, on tha hook… Tha 2nd verse soundin’ good; more catchiness… I see how this a longer one (4:17)? Prolly woulda been betta in that range of tha 2:00 – 2:59, like tha otha songs… More of a long outro, here, as well as anotha hook… Overall, a lil’ catchy, extra track, here… My Rating: 4.1

16. “Them Dollars” with DJ Ya Boy Earl
I’ono, we’ll have ta see… >>> Almost thought it was a “Pass The Dutchie” beat, based off that 1st second… Hearin’ tha beat and it sounds like it can be a throwback, cool-soundin’ southern, sunset-soundin’ track, here! Definitely ready fa it (King Sav vibe?)! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and it sounds like a good vibe, here… Diggin’ tha 2nd verse wit tha “like June dayz with snowflakes” line; good shit, here… “Check tha tats, I’m Macked Out!” Gotta represent! And, “Jimi Jump” in tha references, too; good shit! Tha hook’s pretty catchy wit that whisperin’, too! Great “cake” anthem; can’t deny it! My Rating: 4.4

17. “Save Me” feat. Yasi
Now, we finally have anotha feature listed, unlike tha ghost features of tha past, on this CD! I’ono how we gon end it, tho; I’ll find out now… >>> I’ono if I shoulda thought a female was gonna sing this but, I’ono, even tho a gay-soundin’ male voice, I’m diggin’ how tha feature soundin’ on this… A lil’ bit of a guilty pleasure but it still sounds good, I guess? Didn’t think he was gonna go right inta tha 1st verse, too… R.I.P. “Zoe,” even tho I ain’t realize how many people knew about him. Discovered him on February 18, 2008 and didn’t see a pic of him fa, like, four years! Finally, hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse and it cool ta hear you on here… Sounds like a good, betta-than-depressin’-soundin’ endin’ song, here; definitely nice, I guess (guilty pleasure-like)… My Rating: 4.2

Overall: Excellent job, my boy!! Definitely got yourself a good quality amount of jamz and catchy shit to make tha BR undaground world go round! Gotta keep up tha consistency and always be in this!!

01. “Intro”
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!! Exactly what I’m talkin’ ‘bout!!! Tha length, 3:07, iz tha person that’s driving me INSANE at my job’s birthday length!!! What a way ta start!! I honestly don’t know who can stay sober when dealin’ with that fuckin’ bitch!! She so jealous of me ‘cause I get ta have overtime & I don’t get tired, like Kevin Gates! She just down-right ugly, insecure, a bitch, jealous, mean & always uses her past to make people feel sorry for her! Well, I got it out tha mud with my autism; I live fa now!! >>> Beat sounds pretty nice and tha verse’s soundin’ so-so; I’m diggin’ it… “Down Bad, my younger dayz;” I still feel like it’s those dayz, sometimes. Like, I feel it in tha age, but I feel wiser… “My first blunt was do-do;” nice! Shout out ta my boy, Doe-Doe; Baton Rouge got tons of classic rappers!! My Rating: 3.9

02. “Do My Thang” feat. Piz Corleone
>>> Hearin’ tha Dosha Burna Beatz beat (Piz Corleone) & it reminds me of when I was more serious about Louisiana and all that! I need that feelin’ back and this iz a perfect example of it! Feels like I’ve been away from work fa a while, even though I work six dayz a week! Hook’s definitely catchy as hell; nice job, Supa! Tha 1st verse ain’t too bad, here; gotta represent… Featured dude on tha 2nd verse? Iz dat Piz, himself? Sounds like it… Hmm, should I give credit on tha feature? I’ll take a chance… He sounds—aight, he said, “Corleone;” got it! Anyway, he sounds catchy on tha verse; definitely a nice collab! I’ll just call him “Piz Corleone” as a feature but “Dosha Burna Beatz” as a producer… My Rating: 4.3

03. “Big Dog” feat. Lee Banks
>>> Anotha nice beat, here; sounds more like a street anthem, based off tha sounds… You still sound catchy on tha hook; gotta luv your anthems! Yeah, definitely one of tha “big dog” rappers, fa’real! At tha moment, it’s a rumor, but, who knows, I may have some classic mixtape compilations comin’ out! It’ll be dedicated ta ‘80s babies, if it’s true! A few separate mixtape compilations: ’80/’81 babies, ’82/’83/’84 babies, ’85/’86/’87 babies & ’88/’89 babies; will it happen? We’ll see… But, nice job on tha 1st verse! Sounds like Lee goin’ hard, consistently, on tha 2nd verse; sounds great ta hear! Short verse, but tha appearance iz what’s up! My Rating: 4.3

04. “Roll Out” feat. Foxx
Happy Birthday ta Foxx, earlier, on Sunday, tha 26th! I’ll be in my 30’s in two years; we’re gettin’ up there!! >>> Already, anotha hot-soundin’ beat; let’s get it!! Got anotha Piz Corleone production goin’ on, here! You on tha 1st verse and it sounds like that classic pill-poppin’ music; gotta have it in ya life!! Tha hook’s real catchy with tha title repeatin’; gotta luv it!! Keepin’ it goin’, doin’ tha damn thang, as always…! Here’s Foxx, comin’ through wit good club shit, but I’ll give you more props fa soundin’ betta on this! Nice beat ending, here! My Rating: 4.2

05. “Don’t Get Enough”
>>> Beat sounds like your typical trap-rap music, but tha hook’s catchy… It’s all about dat good shit dat gets you high!! Tha 1st verse sounds nice, here… You still usin’ your old song quotes, here, with “So Whopped” & “Out Da Box”, lol. “I still drank and I still shmoke;” neva get too old fa it!! Nice job holdin’ tha 2nd verse down, here… And, a 3rd verse, here, comin’ through nicely… My Rating: 4.1

06. “To The Top” feat. OG
>>> Seems like Dosha Burna producin’ all these tracks? This one kinda sounds typical with tha trap-rap soundin’ and tha hook just about decent with this less-known dude on tha feature… Here you come on tha 1st verse, comin’ through wit some old, Flippa Boyz-type shit wit tha “I show my ass off” quote… I’ono, even your voice has a stupid, borderline-auto-tune sound to it; can’t say I’m feelin’ it that much… Tha 2nd verse from you kinda random with these rhymes… To me, all this “bitches” shit and how you sound about wantin’ a “milly” sounds like everyone else in tha mainstream… I’ono about that random ending from tha featured dude? Random… My Rating: 3.2

07. “She Gon Go”
>>> Almost thought it really was 50 Cent in tha beginning with tha, “Go shorty, it’s ya birthday,” shit in tha beginning… However, with tha hook, it definitely sounds catchy with this beat; classic-soundin’ Baton Rouge shit! I hope I live fa’eva so I can always hear a Louisiana song, lol! Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and this sounds much catchier than tha previous song wit how you comin’ through wit tha club-type lyrics… LOL, sometimes, I think tha hook sayin’, “She on go,” but it’s, “She gon go,” lol… I honestly should start reviewin’ all these CDs while high, but I don’t like sittin’ and bein’ on tha computer while high, most of tha time… Tha 2nd verse sounds catchy as fuck, too! Oh, just like my boy, Doe-Doe, I just luv how you continuously say, “I get doe, doe, doe,” lol! Tha Doe-Doeness!! My Rating: 4.5

½time: Fa tha most part, I’m feelin’ this shit! You always have tha catchy tunes on lock, includin’ tha great, Baton Rouge-soundin’ production at all times!! Got a 4.1-rated CD on ya hands, so far; keep it up!

08. “Do It Again”
>>> “Stressed out;” who would’ve thought that’d be me? Just ‘cause DJ B-Real blocked me two years ago, I got a job & now, it’s so stressful every fuckin’ day!! Makin’ money can be so annoying, but it’s still money! Then again, I’d rather do this music shit behind tha scenes! Beat sounds laidback, here; rhymes ain’t too bad on tha 1st verse… Kinda not feelin’ tha auto-tuned voice on tha hook, but I think after a lil’ bit, I think I might accept it… Kinda likin’ how you singin’ tha title… I think this’ll be one of those tunes that’ll sound betta while you’re high… Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad, here; an okay track, overall… A long ending, here… And, anotha hook… My Rating: 3.8

09. “Bullshit”
>>> Sounds like an uncredited feature on tha hook, here; they sound aight. Tha hook sounds pretty catchy, to say tha least, with this beat… Hearin’ you on tha 1st verse and I’ono, I’ont fuck wit tha fatherhood shit, at tha moment & I’ve seen what it’s done ta artists. Then again, not bad fa tha short verse… Tha 2nd verse ain’t too bad, here; a decent track… My Rating: 3.5

10. “Everyday” feat. OG
>>> Oh, Tremon, I can give you a list of those that “owe me money;” they so pussy! Then, they flashin’ a $1 bill in pics & shit, like, they broke!! With that bein’ said, I don’t really like tha content about makin’ “money everyday,” on tha hook, but tha beat’s pretty nice… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it must be this OG dude; not bad… LOL @ tha line, “Got my condoms & my guns up; that’s some good protection;” nice! Hearin’ you on tha 2nd verse and it’s aight… Kinda a guilty pleasure ta like this “money” music, but I’ll be nice with tha rating, this time… My Rating: 3.7

11. “Broke Boy” feat. Lil’ Mike & Memphis Chill
>>> This kinda like tha last track, but this sounds pretty catchy; luv how you deliver tha hook/title ova this beat! Hearin’ Mike on tha 1st verse and, just like tha previous track, I’m not diggin’ this “money” content at all… Here you are on tha 2nd verse and it sounds like Boyz N Da Hood “Dem Boyz”, from 2005, with how you startin’ tha verse off… Still, it’s yada-yada with all these prices and thangz… Memphis Chill on tha 3rd verse… More “money” shit, here? Nothin’ special fa me… Sad ta like tha previous song betta than this ‘cause tha hook was pretty catchy fa me… My Rating: 3.0

12. “Droptop”
>>> Beat sounds catchy, as well as this hook… Tha 1st verse ain’t too bad with you on this; sounds jammin’, a lil’… Hearin’ tha 2nd verse from you and it’s decent, too; a decent track, overall… I ain’t got much ta say about this one; it’s okay, overall… My Rating: 3.4

Overall: Kinda became decent toward tha 2nd ½, but it still was nice ta review some newer music from you! Keep up tha grind, neva age & keep that Baton Rouge sound comin’!!

01. “How We Do It” (D Boy Repasenta, Piz Corleone, J Hustle & Fireboy)
Yung Stylez on tha beat. >>> Real nice beat start; definitely feelin’ it! Nice content wit tha drug shit; I’m continuin’ ta feel this! Tha 2nd verse starts off wit Piz; a typical, Ross-type flow that I’m not really into, but at least everything fits together…  Johnny Hustle almost sounds like J.Hu$tle, from New Orleans. Oh wait, dat’s Fireboy? Almost similar voices… Either way, not too bad but why mention “Supa Macked Out”? My Rating: 4.3

02. “Put Dat On Ya Body” (J Hustle, Fireboy & D Boy Repasenta)
Untamed Mystroz on tha beat. >>> Sounds catchy wit tha hook and tha hot beat! Rhymes ain’t too bad; kinda feelin’ ‘em… I’m glad there’s a lot of hype goin’ on wit tha energy of this joint, between tha verses and tha beat! My Rating: 4.2

03. “Go Hard” (Fireboy, D Boy Repasenta & J Hustle)
Untamed Mystroz on tha beat. >>> Beat ain’t too bad; this sounds like a regular, okay joint, overall. Startin’ ta feel that hook a lil’ wit how tha title’s delivered, repetitively… Now, I think this iz a good joint fa tha ladies/hoes! My Rating: 4.1

04. “Hustle Bop” (J Hustle)
Untamed Mystroz on tha beat. >>> C.A.T.C.H.Y.!!! This iz a hot-soundin’ beat; Untamed Mystroz has shit on lock on this CD!! Johnny Hustle comin’ through wit some catchy shit, here; definitely feelin’ his vibe fa tha ladies and shit, here! Iz it me, or does time really fly??? Hustle gon be 30 this year? Crazy shit! I feel like I’m old at times, but I can feel hella young, sometimes! What a consistent jam; Hustle be on his shit!!! My Rating: 4.5

05. “I Be On My Shit” (J Hustle, D Boy Repasenta & Fireboy)
Dosha Burna beat. LOL, I didn’t even realize this was tha next title, from what I wrote at tha end of tha previous song! >>> Sounds good and catchy, once again! Got J Hustle spittin’ some catchy shit fa tha 1st verse! Though I’m usually not into tha swag-type “shit,” I have ta say, there’s somethin’ wit how Hustle comes through wit it dat makes it catchy and acceptable… Both D Boy & Fireboy finish this shit nice, too, wit tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit some “shit” fa err-body that clubs ta like! My Rating: 4.3

06. “Let Me Get Dat Wit Cha” (D Boy Repasenta)
Untamed Mystroz on tha beat. >>> Sounds like a catchy club banga, once again; D Boy reppin’ consistently on this joint… My Rating: 4.1

07. “Mama Got Sum” (J Hustle & Fireboy)
The G List produced this one. >>> Yea, Hustle comin’ through wit dat catchy shit; fuckin’ Hustle!! He’s got some voice that’s hella catchy! You know I fuck wit dem older ‘80s babies!! Good shit on tha 1st verse, but that hook’s hella catchy wit tha “mama got sum big ol’ ass!!” Got Fireboy on tha 2nd verse and he’s got some good shit ta offer, as a bonus… Anotha fiya hook from tha one and only, Hustle!! My Rating: 4.5

½time: A 4.3-rated CD, currently; y’all have a lot of chemistry on this CD!!! Y’all really have shit on lock, here, non-stop!!! Such a great set of peeps ta fuck wit; keep up tha great work!!!

08. “Flammable” (Fireboy)
Whodie Slimm beat. >>> Catchy lil’ hook, here; sounds like you have some good character wit how you sound, here… Lyrics ain’t too bad, but tha beat helps you make this ride out… My Rating: 4.0

09. “Watch Out” (D Boy Repasenta, Fireboy & Piz Corleone)
Vic Jones on tha beat. >>> Tha beat tags are gettin’ a lil’ annoying, especially bein’ tha same ones… As far as this joint, it’s soundin’ like it’s okay… Tha hook’s aight, as well as tha beat, but tha verses sound a lil’ betta…; good shit from D on tha 1st verse wit his catchy voice, followed by how he delivers this shit! Fireboy has some catchy-delivered rhymes, this time, on tha 2nd verse… Good 3rd verse from Piz, comin’ through wit his own shit. My Rating: 4.0

10. “Grind Or Die” (Piz Corleone)
I dunno why it’s been almost 365 dayz since he got my (2011) award in tha mail and didn’t thank me? Anyway, Untamed Mystroz on tha beat. >>> Catchy hook wit tha repeatin’ title part; beat ain’t too bad… Tha verses ain’t too bad; I always feel like I’m livin’ each day of Piz Corleone’s life when I hear him spit. My Rating: 4.3

11. “Keep On Rollin’” (Piz Corleone, J Hustle & D Boy Repasenta)
E. Enigma on tha beat… >>> I like tha intro… Tha beat ain’t too bad, minus tha lil’ samples, but you know it sounds hot wit J Hustle on tha hook! Good, catchy shit comin’ from Corleone on tha 1st verse, here. We got Hustle on tha 2nd verse and he sounds like he on some good shit; would luv ta hang wit him, one day! That would be tha shit! What’s good, Johnny Hustle?! We got some catchy shit from D on tha 3rd verse, too; sounds like Piz Corleone-type subjects that I’m feelin’! My Rating: 4.2

12. “Champagne Life” (Piz Corleone & D Boy Repasenta)
Trap Addict doin’ a beat, here… >>> Not-listed singer on tha hook; sounds catchy, big dawg status style. Piz’s flow’s a lil’ boring and Rick Ross-y, on tha 1st verse; almost sounds a lil’ mainstream-y, but I can dig it… Got D Boy on tha 2nd verse and he sounds catchy wit his shit; can’t stop deliverin’ it! Tha beat’s also startin’ ta sound catchy, too! “You can smell it in my clothes;” I had kush cologne in my Girbauds all day today, as well as last night, lol! Thanx to my cousins leavin’ a bong behind that I had to sneak back to them! My Rating: 4.1

13. “Hopeless” (Piz Corleone, J Hustle & D Boy Repasenta)
Untamed Mystroz on tha beat. >>> A catchy joint, so far; y’all holdin’ it down fa these 225 streetz! Piz sounds a lil’ catchy on tha 1st verse, too; sounds like a fun time when thinkin’ ‘bout hangin’ wit y’all… Hustle sounds like he doin’ his thang on tha 2nd verse; HOW DOES GOD CREATE SUCH SPECIAL LOUISIANA RAPPERS LIKE J HUSTLE?!? It’s such a miracle, and there’s TONS of ‘em in tha Boot!!! Good shit from D on tha 3rd verse, too; blow dat “smoke!” My Rating: 4.2

14. “Shine” (Piz Corleone, J Hustle & D Boy Repasenta)
Beat from Yung Stylez… >>> A longer joint; let’s see how it gon sound… Long intro, wit an okay sample and beat, this time… A nice, loaded Piz on tha 1st verse; I’m feelin’ it, even though tha flow’s a lil’ typical, once again… Hearin’ J Hustle on tha 2nd verse, here, and what a dude!! Anybody wanna be J Hustle for a day? What a blessing dat would be!! Keep up tha catchy shit, Hustle! Even spittin’ some faster rhymes, too! Wow, am I high off dat J Hustle right now, lol? D Boy blends in good wit tha other two, too! To say it best, tha okay beat and sample sounds great wit this kinda collaboration!! My Rating: 4.3

15. “Mane Bitch” (Piz Corleone, J Hustle & D Boy Repasenta)
Endin’ wit an El Capone production… >>> Not sure what to make of tha beginning; let’s see what this continues ta be… Okay, feelin’ loaded-type shit from Piz on tha 1st verse! I like this title and how D represents this shit on tha hook! LOL, really goin’ in and feelin’ “hard,” too; crazy D Boy! Got J Hustle representin’ on tha 2nd verse, just enjoyin’ a day; gotta feel dat! An anti-social D Boy on tha 3rd verse, blendin’ tha hook in wit a verse; sounds good… My Rating: 4.2

Overall: Damn, y’all surpassed my expectations wit this one! A five-star-rated CD from dat BSD Fam? Wow, y’all definitely make a great combination between tha four of y’all! Keep up tha good work! J-to-tha-muthafuckin’-Hustle!!!

Wow, it’s my 1,100th review, overall! Comin’ outta tha Macked Out Music clique, here’s my review for Mel 985 Young, Fly-N-Flashy! Start Time: 5:14 PM | End Time: 5:45 PM

01. “Young, Fly-N-Flashy” Feat. BluBlack
I stylized tha title like tha album title. >>> Oh, Savage on tha beat! Interestin’ fit… Decent hook; good shit from you on tha 1st verse. Automatically not acknowledgin’ tha feature ‘cause of me not gettin’ acknowledged from them since… ironically, Savage’s birthday, 2011! I rather quote VH1’s 40 Winnigest Winners: “A walking nipple slip waitin’ ta happen… and her ass later;” sounds so much betta! My Rating: 4.2

02. “Big Brother, Lil’ Brother”
Let’s see what this iz. >>> Ooh, I like this, especially tha intro, even though I can’t understand it. Tha reason I say I can’t understand it iz ‘cause I dunno how people have true love for other people, especially of tha same sex! Nice job, especially tha hook! Really feelin’ tha lyrics; I’m glad I’m 100% “loyal” at all times! Wished tha people that only had to ‘thank’ me for things would be tha same. I mean, it’s just a ‘thank you;’ what’s so hard about sayin’ dat? My Rating: 4.4

03. “Real Nigga” Feat. Big Head
Looks good. >>> Ooh, sounds like a Savage piano/cymbal in tha beginning; really lookin’ forward ta this!! Likin’ tha hook; definitely some nice shit! Yes, really feelin’ Big Head on this shit, too; nice collaboration and access to work wit him! Can’t forget tha one and only time we talked, so far: “You sound like you’re on quaaludes;” thanx, Big Head, lol, but I neva saw anything but weed and cocaine, currently, in my life. You sound good wit these rhymes; speakin’ of “firearm,” glad I neva saw a gun since January 23, 2008! Hope that’s tha last day I see one, too! Ooh, more shit from Big Head on tha 3rd—oh, of course, you collaborated wit him, too, on tha verse; nice alternations! Glad “all [you] fuck wit iz real niggaz!” My Rating: 4.7

04. “N.W.A.” Feat. Supa (Macked Out) & Big Nip
LOL @ tha extra things in their names… >>> LOL, no wonder why this was familiar! I only rated this a 4.5, at first? Much betta, only one correction: Big Nip doesn’t equal “Out My Socks” Nip; they’re different! My Current Rating: 4.6

05. “I’m Lifted” Feat. Piz Corleone
>>> Rudye in tha beginning? Didn’t look at tha ID, yet… *Checks ID* Oh, this familiar, too, and also iz a lil’ betta… My Current Rating: 4.2

06. “Dopeman”
>>> I like this hook and content; you know what it iz wit these drug songs! Thumbs up for holdin’ it down fa ya hood! My Rating: 4.2

07. “1st 48”
Hold it down! >>> Beat’s pretty nice, but this flow iz boring; lol, are you shy or somethin’ to let emotions out? It’s like, “*normal voice* I won $1,000,000,” and, “*normal voice* I’m chillin’,” and, “*normal voice* I’ll kill you for dissin’ me;” all tha same voice/emotion? My Rating: 4.1

½time: A 4.3-rated CD; good job!!!

08. “Stupid” Feat. Young Gregory
W/Supa on tha intro! My Current Rating: 4.4

09. “She Choosin’ (Macked Out Nigga)” Feat. Supa (Macked Out) & Young Gregory
>>> LOL, sounds like a loud intro outta nowhere, lol. Feelin’ tha Southern, Southern (yea, actual Southern) beat style, like, really down-n-durty, lol! Good shit in tha hook, of course… LOL @ Supa on tha 1st verse; feelin’ how he comin’ through outta nowhere… You sound good on tha 2nd verse; nice job wit this… Let’s hear this Gregtastic, Gregtacular 3rd verse… lol, ooh, how Gregicious (as in ‘vicious’, not ‘delicious’, lol)! He’s got a good voice, no matter what tha topic iz! His interview gon be featured on “Tha Louisiana Pit” hopefully January 7, 2012! LOL, tha song ended outta nowhere! My Rating: 4.4

10. “Let’s Ride” Feat. Tyree Neal
>>> “EP” produced? Thought it would be tha feature… LOL, sounds like Bro-Bro music, but iz also interestin’ when it’s in your hands! Thumbs up fa tha vibe! Unlike Bro-Bro, this joint’s long; he had lengths that could fit as short songs, so this a lil’ different. Might be a lil’ borin’ wit this length, but it ain’t bad, at least. My Rating: 4.2

11. “Gangsta” Feat. Young Gregory
>>> Likin’ tha beat; tha hook’s good, too. I’m really likin’ tha rhymes you spittin’, here, even though tha “money” shit iz yada, yada, yada, yada… All tha shit you do (e.g., “pop X-pillz”) just makes me feel blessed ta fuck wit you, ya dig? Neva pictured people on shit would pay attention to me, who’s tha complete opposite! Good “shit” from Young Greg on tha 2nd verse; “nothin’ fa [him] ta scratch it off,” lol! LOL, how Gregful, ain’t it, lol? My Rating: 4.5

12. “My Grizzy” Feat. Piz Corleone
>>> “Pizzle laced tha track”? I heard correctly? Heard before, and it sounds betta… again! LOL @ tha “and now, tha weather” shit! My Current Rating: 4.2

13. “My Choppa” Feat. Kidd, Supa (Macked Out) & BluBlack
>>> Really hot start, but should I comment it (‘cause of me not sure of who’s on tha beat)? You sound tight on tha 1st verse; nice job! Gotta say, “Free Ace!!;” hope he gets outta jail, soon, even though Butla’s gurl didn’t give me his address… Feelin’ tha dialect before Kidd’s verse; good thinkin’ of dialect! He sounds good, once again; definitely some gutta shit! LOL, Supa’s ahead on tha ID; gotta move him up! Nice job wit him, too! Tha 3rd ver—oh, “hot and horny,” huh, Meital Dohan? “Tasty and yummy”? Distracted me in a hot way so I forgot to acknowledge tha 3rd verse! I rather talk about my virginity, anyway…………; jealous?! My Rating: 4.6

14. “Troublemaker”
Let’s hear this “bonus”! >>> Beat sounds good; nice lil’ addition, even though it seems like a regular song on here than a bonus! Tha length’s on a shorter tip, which iz good for a diversity; keep your tight shit comin’! Glad you almost got a Rudye voice, too! My Rating: 4.3

Overall: Well, you score five stars wit me, Mel; nice and consistent, no matter what you brought to tha table! You know I easily fall for this shit! Keep up tha great work; surprised you’re closer to 30, too, which iz better than these 20-somethin’-year-olds!
