Reviewed on 3.26.2011 (Review #904)

Even though I mainly radio-edit for today, I gon do some reviewz while it’s still early! This 1st one iz for Calicoe The Champ “Ground Hog Day (Hosted by KLC), Overdose Entertainment/Grand Theft Audio Music in tha buildin’!! Start Time: 8:18 AM | End Time: 9:02 AM

Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it. Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01. Happy Groundhog Day

LOL; gotta like dis title! >>> Ooh, KLC on tha intro, here; thumbs up! Even though it’s March 2011, now, it still feels like “Groundhog Day” wit tha weather, since there’s still snow on tha ground! At about :39, tha song’s startin’, and this quiet beat sounds good. SMH, we were ‘pose ta get six early weeks of Spring, but it’s fuckin’ cold, right now, and it’s Spring! LOL, I thought this was gonna be a song wit its 2:57 length but it’s mainly just an intro; good job wit this, though. LOL, tha last 46 seconds sounds like Mardi Gras music, lol; nice combo! My Rating: N/A

02. “Hit Me”

Let’s hear it! >>> For some reason, I feel like my anticipation’s increasin’, tha more seconds go by! Ooh, feelin’ these consistent rhymes from you, Calicoe!! Really like your character and how you deliver these rhymes! LOL @ tha “frog” and “ribbit” part; you a crazy dude, Calicoe!!! Overall, thumbs up fa dis shit; definitely a nice 1st song fa this mixtape and shout out ta “Beats By The Pound,” too! My Rating: 4.5

03. Skit

>>> LOL, how quick! Interestin’ and random! My Rating: N/A

04. “Ain’t Gotta Chance”

>>> Ooh, I hear an Electronica—or betta yet, it’s tha Gorillaz on tha beat, lol, no less, tha song was originally called “Dirty Harry”, rofl! Thought I wasn’t gonna pay attention ta dis too much but because I know tha beat, even though tha original hook’s in it, I give this a plus. Definitely thumbs up ta tha rhymes and thumbs up ta tha “blunt” part afta tha 1st verse! You even got tha 2nd verse on lock wit tha street rhymes; definitely feelin’ this, N.O./real-life style! My Rating: 4.2

05. “Show Yo Titts”

A “tits” song!!! >>> Yea, this iz pretty anticipatin’ in tha beginning wit tha hook! LOL, here you are on tha 1st verse but it sounds a lil’ low on your vocals? Not bad wit how you came through on tha verse but it’s all about dat hook, lol! Wish I could hear you betta but it’s still good ‘cause I can still hear your character in dis! My Rating: 4.3

06. “Deep N Da South” Feat. Dirty Harry & Co Candy

Good title… >>> Ooh, you shouted out “Dirty Harry” on this? He must be featured on here? Ooh, feelin’ how you comin’ through on tha 1st verse; nothin’ but dat quality street shit!!! Tha hook sounds good wit dis sample; definitely interestin’ chemistry goin’ on wit dis track, here!! LOL, Dirty Harry iz on tha 2nd verse, and he’s comin’ through wit some real-ass tight shit!!! Real glad he represents for tha streets as much as you, Calicoe! Tha 3rd verse sounds like a jacked flow or somethin’? I think it’s catchy; iz this someone else on tha 3rd verse? I see Co Candy on tha back cover? It’s kinda small and hard ta read… My Rating: 4.6

07. “Day Dream”

>>> This iz bleh for me; do I need ta hear anything on this beat? Bleh @ tha original hook… Tha rhymes are good, of course, but not a good blend fa me. My Rating: 3.3

08. “Reppin’ My Block” Feat. Corner Boy P

LOL, “reepin’”? Spelled wrong, I assume? >>> I always liked dis Sean P (Youngbloodz) sample on tha hook; good beat choice, too. Tha 1st verse from Corner Boy P sounds nice; good shit! You’re on tha 2nd verse and it sounds betta, here; good shit, Calicoe! Keep these rhymes and catchy flow comin’ along!! My Rating: 4.2

09. “Ridin’ Thru ATL”

>>> Anotha good beat wit anotha “ATL” artist on tha sample/hook. Tha way you explained your situation wit goin’ ta “Atlanta” makes sense, thanx ta dat stupid Katrina! My Rating: 3.8

10. “Dreams”

>>> Thought I wouldn’t be anticipated fa dis but this iz pretty hot wit tha production and your catchy “one day” shit; gotta luv you, Calicoe!!! Nothin’ but some addictive music, thanx ta your catchy flow!! My Rating: 4.4

11. “Welcome 2 Da Ghetto”

>>> Scary start but it makes sense fa tha vibe, N.O. style. Here you are wit tha only verse on tha track, comin’ through wit some street-ass shit!! Definitely feelin’ it; glad you keepin’ your character in play while rappin’ dis tight shit! My Rating: 4.2

12. “Play It Loud” (KLC Feat. Fiend & Calicoe The Champ)

Interestin’ collaboration; let’s see dis! >>> Ooh, really feelin’ dis G-Funk-soundin’ beat, here!!! Definitely good ta have dis style, includin’ KLC ta be tha main artist! Definitely kick-ass to tha fullest!!! Fiend’s on tha 2nd verse and shit yea, have ta have dis gutta-ass, grimy-ass voice and delivery!! LOL, you’re on tha 3rd verse, comin’ through wit some tight shit! Surprisingly, tha other two were betta than you, on here, but you definitely keep shit entertainin’, here, ya dig?!? My Rating: 4.8

½time:
I’m really likin’ dis CD; I give you mega props on dis shit right chea!! Currently, a 4.2-rated CD; can you keep dis shit up?!?

13. “Complex Occupation” Feat. Byou2ful

>>> Sounds like Erykah Badu in tha beginning/hook; not bad… Ooh, when you come on tha track, it sounds good, especially wit dis beat! Definitely glad you’re motivated, to tha fullest! Throughout this whole song, you keepin’ tha street shit on ‘n’ poppin’!! Byou2ful sounds good later on, too. My Rating: 4.0

14. “Who???”

Ooh, an attitude in tha title; lemme hear! >>> Shit yea, a Biggie sample on tha hook and it sounds real tight fa you, Calicoe! Shit yea, you comin’ through on tha 1st verse wit some tight-ass shit; definite thumbs up!!! How much more street shit can I handle from you? Keep shootin’ it up in me, bruh, lol!! You even have a lil’ bit of a Nu$$ie feel wit how you’re deliverin’ shit, here, too! My Rating: 4.5

15. “Get A Lil’” Feat. Athena

>>> Sounds a lil’ like a Lil’ Wayne or somethin’, here; pretty good, overall. Tha hook sounds much betta wit this upbeat sound and what you got goin’ on, here! What does dis Athena girl got ta offer? Okay, I’m feelin’ what she’s got, includin’ her voice. My Rating: 4.1

16. “No Place Like Home” (KLC Feat. Mannie Fresh)

Ooh, this looks like it gon be a big one!! >>> Definitely a nice beat start fa tha 504! LOL, neva-endin’ intro? KLC sounds good on dis shit; glad he has a good attitude, not givin’ a fuuuuuck, lol! Definitely feelin’ tha rhymes!! Tha hook’s really what’s up; a huge 504 anthem!!! Even Mannie Fresh comin’ through wit some tight shit, too, on tha 2nd verse; good shit ta be known fa tha ’10!! Of course, there had ta be more shit on tha 3rd verse from KLC; definite plus!! LOL, “show dem tits;” nice and demandin’! My Rating: 4.7

17. “Diamonds R Wreckless” Feat. Corner Boy P

Lookin’ forward ta hearin’ dis!! >>> It somewhat sounds like “In The Hood” wit tha beat and hook; interestin’ beat choice. Really likin’ tha start to tha 1st verse; real gutta between Corner Boy on tha verse and you, too! Definitely feelin’ all these alternations!! That’s a whoppin’ 16 ½ bars from tha both of y’all!! ROFL, tight shit comin’ outta tha 2nd verse, too; y’all definitely got tha formula on ‘n’ poppin’ wit this back-ta-back alternations between each other!!! My Rating: 4.6

18. “Gangstafied” Feat. KLC, Mo B Dick, J.Hu$tle, Slim Reep & Byou2ful

I rememba dis; I knew it looked familiar! This was on my boy J.Hu$tle’s “Gorilla Hustle (Da Mixtape)” mixtape! Real glad J.Hu$tle’s still on tha song! Oh, that’s him on tha back cover (A.J.); I sometimes forget that’s his alias. What I originally said about dis song: Okay, I’m likin’ this smooth sound! Jacked beat or not: pretty good ‘90s feel, here! Tha 1st verse sounds consistent wit tha rappin’; glad tha features can help you out, here! LOL, you’re on tha 2nd verse, Calicoe, doin’ ya thang! You got dat voice ta hold thangz down! Likin’ your “got coke, crack, weed,” etc. line! Even though this iz kinda long, this iz a good radio song fa me. Almost good as if it was a flashback; tha features would be a main reason! I try to get as many people on tha show as possible! Sounds like J.Hu$tle on tha 3rd verse, here; feelin’ how tha verse’s bein’ delivered, once again! My Current Rating: 4.4

19. “Dope Money” Feat. Shawt

>>> This sounds familiar but whether or not I know it, it’s tight; good hook, beat, and what you got goin’ on, here! You’re always consistent wit shit, ya dig? Shawt brings some tight shit, too; it’s all about collaboratin’!! My Rating: 4.1

20. “Welcome 2 Da South”

Looks like tha otha “South” song; we’ll see which one’s betta… >>> Good shit, once again; always glad ta hear Southern hooks like dis! Very consistent wit tha punchlines, Calicoe; definitely feelin’ ‘em!! Glad you holdin’ down tha “South”/New Orleans down!!! My Rating: 4.2

21. “Dog” Feat. Slim Reep

Dat Reep dude’s on here, again! Lookin’ forward ta hearin’ wit dis title! >>> Damn, this definitely’s hot!! Likin’ tha “dog” barks as well as tha tight beat and what you got goin’ on here as far as street content! I can picture a house; glad you puttin’ pictures in my head! Tha hook’s definitely A+ when it comes ta catchy shit!!! Can’t deny dis shit!! Slim Reep’s on tha 2nd verse, soundin’ like tha tight-ass ‘90s shit from Louisiana!! Real nice collaboration, ya dig?!? My Rating: 4.8

22. “Stuntin’ Iz A Habit” Feat. Corner Boy P

Too many “t” and “b”s in tha title, lol. Lookin’ forward ta hearin’ dis one, too! >>> Yup, this iz nice wit tha hook and beat! Corner Boy P comin’ through, nicely, fa you on tha 1st verse! Damn, “kush in tha jar;” consistentness!!! You’re on tha 2nd verse—can’t deny dis shit!! Your flow iz definitely on ‘n’ poppin’!! Can’t get enough of Calicoe The Champ!!!! My Rating: 4.5

23. “Backyard Party” Feat. Nesby Phips

Let’s hear dis collab and see if it’s good enough fa me… >>> Ooh, I can feel tha “backyard” vibe wit dis beat and how you comin’ through on tha hook! Definitely some tight-ass shit!! “Bring ya own weed;” lol, Calicoe reservations!!! Gotta really feel it!!! Nesby’s rappin’ on tha 2nd verse? I dunno if this tha 1st or 2nd time I’m hearin’ him rap but he sounds good wit you, Calicoe; nice collab! My Rating: 4.4

24. “Celebration”

Last song… >>> Too bad it “must come ta an end.” But, I got anotha CD ta review of yours! Nice beat you chose ta rap on, here; feelin’ tha shit that’s goin’ on wit your rappin’. Sounds more like an intro track than an outro track, lol; good shit, overall. My Rating: 4.0

Overall:
Of course, I really felt this CD! Too bad I didn’t know about it ‘til now. But, you always are consistent, Calicoe; really luv tha kinda character you have when it comes ta deliverin’ shit ta tha streetz!!

01. Intro
>>> Not really likin’ whateva dis beat intro iz; kinda Poppy for what I’m expectin’? My Rating: N/A

02. “I Am The Greatest”
Produced by Nick Fury. >>> Long intro… Tha beat’s a lil’ different, in a somewhat-catchy way, and you’re doin’ a nice job wit tha rappin’… I’m likin’ tha attitude, here, as well as tha hook! My Rating: 3.7

03. “Lane Switching”
Produced by A-1. Looks like a good title/topic. >>> I like tha smooth, ridin’ sound, here. Tha rhymes are somewhat-consistent, here, wit tha way they’re delivered on this beat. Definitely a good job, here, holdin’ down tha streetz and “lanes!” My Rating: 4.0

04. Skit 1
>>> LOL? My Rating: N/A

05. “Breathe”
Produced by Trakk Sounds. >>> Not my kinda beat start, here. Catchy rhymes but not my kinda joint, overall. Ooh, tha hook caught my attention wit, “dat’s good weed; why cover your nose?” My Rating: 3.6

06. “Glad To Be Here”
Produced by Nesby Phips. >>> Ooh, FC Kahuna “Hayling” on tha beat, here; good thinkin’ wit rappin’ on dis beat! LOL @ considerin’ tha title “Glad To Be Here”. LOL, I knew tha original hook was gonna “be here,” lol, ‘cause of how you have tha title. My Rating: 3.7

07. “Before I Stack” Feat. Dee-Low & Nesby Phips
>>> I like how this beat sounds… As for tha song, itself, I hear some good, consistent rhymes, here and there… And, as far as tha hook, you stackin’ up, lol. My Rating: 3.6

½time: Only a 3.5-rated CD, currently; knew it would be on tha decent level.

11. “L.A.X.” Feat. Fiend
The Game title? Produced by Cy-Fire. >>> Very long intro, again? A lil’ Curren$yish on how dis sounds wit tha voice, lol. I dunno about this song, overall, but it’s aight. LOL, a feature outta nowhere? Shout out ta Fiend; lookin’ at tha back cover, now! My Rating: 3.5

13. “Checkout Time”
Produced by Trakk Sounds. >>> This sounds like a decent song; nothin’ special. My Rating: 3.0

Produced by Trakk Sounds. >>> Not really inta tha hook and tha sample, or whateva it iz. This ain’t too special, either. My Rating: 2.9

15. “Step After Step”

>>> LOL, keep ‘em comin’! My Rating: N/A

18. “Memory Lane” Feat. Fiend
Produced by Trakk Sounds. >>> A lil’ on tha sad side; don’t think I’ll really go fa dis one… You sound like Ronny My, here, wit tha voice and rappin’; decent… You have a pretty-good vibe goin’ on, here, at times… Fiend even sounds a lil’ smooth wit what he’s bringin’ to dis joint. My Rating: 3.2

19. “Final Descent”
Produced by Trakk Sounds. >>> Not likin’ tha sample in tha beginning. But, my interest grew, a lil’, when you emerged at :18. Good job wit tha rappin’ although this beat could be betta… My Rating: 3.1

20. “This Is The Good Life” Feat. Fiend & Jean LePhare
Produced by Fiend; let’s see what dis last joint gon sound like… >>> Nothin’ really special; I guess this iz a typical ending-song… Lots of rhymes here that don’t have tha catchiest feel for me; they’re aight… Tha hook actually sounds nice from Jean; “good” vibe. Fiend’s on tha 2nd verse, spittin’ some good rhymes wit a smooth-ass flow. Overall, not tha worst… My Rating: 3.3

Overall: On tha back cover, it says there’s a #21, which iz a skit. But, it’s not here. Anyway, okay CD for me; nothin’ up my alley/special.

Review #477: Calicoe The Champ "Grand Larceny"

Reviewed on 5.27.2010 (Review #477)

Aight… Had a bit of an alergy thing annoy me earlier this morning but after two hours of restin’, I’m back up and ready ta keep it goin’! Up next, thanx ta Dirty Harry’s “Residue” CD, here’s my next review: Calicoe The Champ “Grand Larceny! Dat cover’s raw, ya dig! I think you’re a monsta (and can’t detect what you look like at times)! You KNOW if Dirty Harry did tha damn thang, then Calicoe gon do too!! Dat’s right, “bwoy!!!” Start Time: 4:27 PM | End Time: 5:47 PM

Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! 01. “Grand Larceny”
“E…E…E… E.P. on da track!!” Wit Dirty Harry’s startin’ song, it was tha name of his CD, “Residue”. Now, wit you, it’s tha name of your CD too, lol. You’re anticipatin’ me already so let’s see what you got!! >>> This iz real different start; I dunno about a startin’ sound… “Make her nipples erect;” hot line right there… Huh? No hook? This ain’t happenin’ for me; sorry. Rhymes are good but this beat iz horrible! Worst anticipation in a while for a startin’ song… My Rating: 2.3

02. “Hold Tight”
Looks consistent on tha production. >>> Lil’ movie sample here; betta be normal! Okay, DEFINITELY iz this time; glad for tha resurrection this quickly!! You KNOW you wanna do good wit dis shit right chea!! Interestin’ shit here for tha ladies; your voice iz nice and dark/creepy fa dis undaground Rap shit! Tha remainin’ of tha 1st verse sounds good; you kept tha good shit goin’ for tha streetz here. Yes, a hook and it’s good! Can’t complain about tha title repeatin’, ya dig! Tha 2nd verse sounds good once again; gutta shit comin’ out yo mouth right chea! Interestin’ shit right chea… Glad you have a grimy perspective wit err-thang, as well as mixin’ it wit some real street shit! Tha 3rd verse iz here and “it’s an N.O. thing;” you sound like you doin’ ya thang for tha N.O.! Since you from tha “N.O.” and Harry’s from Napoleonville, how’d y’all meet? Nice job wit tha 3rd verse; glad you had complete verses too! My Rating: 4.4

03. “I’m Good”
Consistent production once again… How will this one sound? >>> Yea, keep tha undaground status; “I’m good” wit dat too! Sounds like you in tha hood here on this one too; nice job wit your real shit! Tha beat I thought was aight for a start but sounds betta when you start rappin’ on it. Tha 1st verse sounds kinda long but your rhymes don’t get borin’ so dat’s a plus. I like tha “gettin’ out tha grocery sto’” part. Tha 2nd verse has catchy shit; I like how you ended it wit all those “bitch parts.” Definitely a plus to your flow here and anotha good joint by you. My Rating: 4.1

04. “Feeling You”
KLC did this beat so let’s see what’s up wit it… >>> Usually, this iz tha type of start dat would make me feel odd but because it sounds like really Early 2000’s BET-type Rap City music, I’ll give it a plus… Pretty good beat overall; it has catchiness in tha rhythm. Tha 1st verse’s like a conversation goin’ on here between a text message and you; pretty good. Tha 2nd verse’s like a “Calicoe The Champ boyfriend material only” verse, lol. It’s all about you wit dat gurl; I agree! LOL, I didn’t see tha length @ 1st: 5:57? Why iz dis so long? Prolly could’ve been just four minutes… Anyway, sounds like you feelin’ good on tha 3rd verse vs. tha gurl havin’ a hard time wit her stupid boyfriend… Interestin’ rhymes once again; I guess I don’t mind this continuin’ fa so long… LOL, tha beat outro @ 3:49? Iz tha rest silence or tha beat? Okay, I hear tha hook again… Now, 1:08 remains… And, it’s just a beat outro. My Rating: 3.9

05. “Snap Shot”
E.P. did dis track so let’s see what’s good wit it! >>> Soundin’ good on tha beat start here; definitely feelin’ it. All tha paparazzi-type shit goin’ on in tha beginning’s pretty cool. I like how E.P. puttin’ tha breathin’ sounds in his beat like Q-Red! Tha hook sounds cool; I like tha gangsta shit here mixed wit tha real catchy shit too!! Dat “look at me” shit sounds like IL Duce’s song a lil’ bit… Tha 1st verse has some gr8 advice: “Stay ___;” ALWAYS “stay ___” ‘cause if you “stay ___” on everything, then your CONSISTENCY “stays HOT!” Good job deliverin’ dat 1st verse ta prove your popularity in tha undaground! This iz much shorter… Only 54 seconds remain and tha 2nd verse iz now here. Good shit; you feelin’ good wit dis Rap shit right chea! My Rating: 4.3

06. “Mr. Nice Guy” Feat. Byou2ful
What could this be? Interestin’ feature artist on tha ID… >>> No intro and it’s straight to tha hook wit dis dark E.P. beat! It’s a gurl on tha hook? Oh, aight, her name really says, “beautiful,” but iz spelled special. She sounds GR8 on tha hook and you’re good on tha hook too. Tha 1st verse sounds like you’re DEFINITELY “no more Mr. Nice Guy” right chea; you tha real deal in these N.O. streetz, doin’ it big! Dat hook’s just a turn on! Tha 2nd verse sounds like you annoyed so dat’s why this ‘bout “no more Mr. Nice Guy!” Good job wit tha quick verse, ya dig. GR8 endin’ from tha “beautiful” Byou2ful! My Rating: 4.2

07. “Get Down”
More E.P.ness here; let’s see how you “get down” by yourself right chea! >>> I hear tha E.P. sounds and it’s like havin’ needles in your vains or somethin’!! It’s HELLA addictin’ ta hear those REALLY GR8 sounds!!! LOL @ this short-ass length? Only 2:26 on tha length? Anyway, you sound good on tha 1st verse; your character iz in tha verse and you lettin’ it out! Glad ta hear you all tha way and as for tha hook, it sounds good; definitely hot shit as it’s catchy! I like what you be spittin’ here… Tha 2nd verse has more of a conversation goin’ on once again, lol. You good wit dis conversation-type rappin’ right chea, ya dig! Oh shit, only 13 seconds left… My Rating: 4.5

08. “Go Home” Feat. KLC
A double dose of KLC right chea as he produced this and iz featured on it! Let’s see how good it iz! >>> Boo @ tha 2:29ish length… I don’t get it why tha tight songs are so short? Tha beginning piano in tha beat sounds hot! I hear tha hook now (as it kicked in) and it’s hot; DEFINITELY a GR8, older 2000’s vibe in tha undaground sounds right chea!! Ooh, KLC handlin’ some “I’ll stay on my street” shit; I REALLY luv how dat sounds!!! It’s like REALLY associatin’ a word wit somethin’ ta make it REAL catchy!! Tha 1st verse sounds good from you. You got tha interestin’ street shit on lock right chea; glad you keepin’ this shit hot to tha fullest! EDIT: Tha mp3 file just ended outta nowhere… I don’t know what happened but now, I’m listenin’ via tha DatPiff player. Anyway, tha REAL length iz 6:04; should DEFINITELY be tight then!! We got tha 2nd verse here and it sounds like some real-ass gangsta shit right chea from tha “poppin’” to tha “St. Bernard!” Shit no, at 4:33, tha verses just end? Why not a 3rd verse? Oh well, gr8 song, regardless, as well as a gr8 beat! My Rating: 4.7

09. “Beat It Up” Feat. Autumn B
Y’all got E.P. on tha track here so let’s see what this’ll sound like before tha ½ mark! >>> I hear a Rich On Da Track sound effect in tha beginning; iz E.P. cool wit him or somethin’? Anyway, sounds like this’ll be good… At :20, lol @ tha “deaf” feelin’ in tha sound. Sounds like some good character here in tha 1st verse; good job wit tha flow. Tha rhymes are cool here too… Oh, so tha feature artist’s anotha female? LOL… She sounds gr8 on tha hook like tha otha female! Tha 2nd verse’s good once again; I like tha “breakin’ down weed” shit; good shit once again. My Rating: 4.0

½time: Looks like it’s a real good CD so far… Damn, tha average CD rating would’ve been 3/10s higher if it wasn’t for tha 1st verse… Anyway, it’s at 4.0 so dat’s good. Keep up tha good songs and I’m glad you fux wit Dirty Harry!

10. “Righteous” Feat. Byou2ful
Yea, this gurl’s back and E.P. ain’t goin’ NOWHERE when it comes to tha tracks!! Let’s see what this one gon sound like… >>> Oh no, sounds like tha 1st song, which iz kinda ironic ‘cause dis iz tha 1st song in tha 2nd ½; dat was tha 1st song in tha 1st ½. I’m sorry but I’m not feelin’ dat hook; a lil’ too scary wit “tha Lord calls your numba;” *shrugs* oww… Not much ta say about your 1st verse; okay wit tha rappin’… Tha 2nd verse a lil’ too fucked up from tha “religious confusion” to tha “cockin’ tha pistol back and squeezin’” when it comes to yourself… You were introduced to tha “hustle” from your “cousin” in tha 3rd verse? Well, would you know how ta change pace? I dunno… But, once again, some good rhymes in tha 3rd verse. However, I can’t listen to this, unfortunately. Ahh @ tha long beat outro again; not a formula on EVERY 5+ minute length song!! My Rating: 2.4

11. “Muggin’ Like A Bitch”
Could this be betta? Hope so, E.P. and Calicoe! >>> This beat sounds like anotha movie-themed sound mixed wit some HOT Louisiana undaground music!! You got dat gutta, street shit in tha 1st verse right chea; thumbs up ta you! Tha hook sounds good wit dat sample too; too many “bitch”-asses out there! I hear you on tha 2nd verse and you took tha words out my mouth wit “take me out my character;” thumbs up, Calicoe!! You DEFINITELY readin’ my mind right chea!! Glad you spittin’ HOT shit right chea on tha 2nd verse, ya dig! Ooh, a 3rd verse fit onta dis and tha lyrical content’s TIGHT here, ya dig! My Rating: 4.4

12. “Get It On” Feat. Don Yute & John Doe
KLC did dis track and there’s an interestin’ line-up here!! Let’s see what y’all got goin’ on… >>> Reggae start; dat’s different! Kinda like a Beenie Man feel or somethin’; sounds hot on this beat! Soundin’ REAL GR8 on tha rappin’ here from Don Yute on tha 1st verse!! Iz he from Louisiana? He must be GR8 for y’all!! I like tha “bounce wit a nigga, rolllll” part sounds HOT on tha 2nd ½ of tha hook; DEFINITELY gives it a GR8 Mannie Fresh sound to it in my opinion!! You spittin’ good shit in tha 2nd verse too wit all those “fish in tha ocean,” ya dig! Where’s John Doe? And what John Doe iz dis? There’s one in Baton Rouge (which I was hoping this was) and then, there was one in New Orleans… Anyway, tha 3rd verse sounds good; I like how all y’all sound on dis! Iz John Doe tha one goin’, “bounce wit a nigga, rolllll?” My Rating: 4.5

13. “Funeral” Feat. Mia X & Dyce
This time, it’s Full Pack Music on tha beat here; let’s see what’s up although I dunno how I’ll feel ‘bout dis title fa dis CD… >>> Good beat start here… LOL, tha start to tha 1st verse wit Mia X sounds like it was ripped from an ol’-ass tape (wit tha way it sounded)? Anyway, not bad of a verse from Mia X; thumbs up ta hearin’ from here, ‘09/’10 style! Tha hook’s on tha Reggae tip once again; this one sounds good too! Tha 2nd verse iz you and it sounds like you focused fa dis shit right chea; “anyday!” Definitely like tha 2nd verse really held it down for tha streetz tha WHOLE way through; good shit! Let’s see what’s left for tha 3rd verse… Dyce? I thought he was tha Jamaican dude but I guess dat’s dat Don Yute dude again? Feelin’ like it’s DEFINITELY a gangsta-ass verse right chea; GR8 job ta end tha song!! All these crazy-ass lyrics wit this crazy-ass content, tight beat and HOT flow DEFINITELY combines into HOTNESS!!! My Rating: 4.6

14. “Song Bird”
Okay, maybe this’ll not be for me wit E.P. on tha track. >>> Yup, yucky start; need ta say anything else? Tha length’s finally short (2:57); glad it’s unda three minutes! But, as far as you, it sounds like you’ve been hurt too many times. Iz dat why there’s three yucky songs for me so far? Too sad wit tha lyrics… and I ain’t wit all tha sadness wit Rap music; undaground no less… My Rating: 2.6

15. “Purple Cloud”
This looks like it’ll make a short comeback real quick here… Nesby Phips on this beat so let’s see how tha newbie does it for you! >>> Anotha song 2:57, lol? Tha beat sounds a lil’ weird for me; why a gay sample in tha background? I hate how people think dat’s cool or somethin’… Good, you’re GaGaful at least here wit your “poker face wit tha hand you was dealt;” I like dat line right there! Tha hook’s aight; I thought it was more on tha “smokin’” tip but it’s okay for what it iz. I ain’t crazy ‘bout dis either but it’s betta than tha 2.0-rated songs. What’s up wit tha breakdown @ 1:38? That was an odd 15 seconds… Tha rest of this iz soundin’ a lil’ typical on tha lyrics of what I’d hear from someone else but you’re a touch betta. My Rating: 2.9

16. “Down South Hustlin’” Feat. Fiend & Dirty Harry
Okay, MUCH BETTA (and I mean it)!! This iz official right chea wit once again, E.P. on tha track! On tha Dirty Harry CD, they spelled Fiend’s name wrong (as “ei” instead of “ie”). Anyway, still feelin’ these beat intros; nothin’ but str8 fiya!! Sounds like Soulja Slim on tha hook here and dat special producer produced this again!!! Pretty good hook and tha 1st verse from you iz on dat gangsta shit! REAL TIGHT shit bein’ spit here on this 100+% street shit track!! Ooh, some gutta-ass shit bein’ spit in tha 2nd verse here!! Dat boy Fiend doin’ it big here on tha 2nd verse; luvin’ tha attitude!! Dirty Harry was saved for last… You KNOW his street attribute HAD ta be on here!!! This song would’ve been incomplete without him, ya dig!! DEFINITELY tight-ass street lyrics bein’ spit here; he’s a beast wit this shit once again!! My Current Rating: 4.6

17. “The Deuce”
I dunno where this title’ll lead to… E.P. did tha beat again so let’s see how good/bad it iz… >>> Good thing I predicted “good/bad” ‘cause it sounds too soft for tha beginning; what tha hell’s #18 then? Iz it even more sad? Anyway, lemme be a lil’ nice here and review it… Sounds like you’re sorry again but then again, those not fuckin’ wit you get “tha deuce;” sounds interestin’. I like tha “not five, not four, not three…” part in tha hook; good line! You sound like Z-Ro here and so does tha song… This iz startin’ ta sound betta wit tha way you sound on this shit; definitely cool/different here. Tha 1st verse had a bunch of shit goin’ on, includin’ more sorrow. Now, it sounds like your regular voice here on tha 2nd verse… It’s an aight verse… I don’t know what ta say about it though. My Rating: 3.5

18. “What’s Up (Extended Version)” Feat. Soulja Slim, 6-Shot & B.G.
Interestin’ here although they made an error on tha back cover (tha producer iz in orange instead of white); not a good consistency. Anyway, wit Craig B of Medicine Men on tha beat here, let’s see what this “extended version” iz all about! >>> Sounds good wit tha beat here and it sounds like you have a lot ta offer here on this joint right chea. I like how you comin’ through for tha streetz and tha hook sounds good wit Soulja Slim on it! Tha 2nd verse sounds good here; 6-Shot in tha buildin’ right chea! Str8 up gangsta-ass shit ta end dis CD off; good job! I’m real glad you have a gangsta-ass connection wit rappers, ya dig! Savin’ B.G. for tha last verse? Let’s see what he’s got fa dis shit… Almost sounded like it was a lil’ old tha way it sounded ‘til he said, “’07, I…;” glad it’s recent! I like how he comin’ through wit “Girbauds” and I like how he said, “’08, came through hard like a dick,” or some shit like dat; dat was a gutta line! Tha year 2008 was DEFINITELY somethin’ official, ya dig!! Nice job from B.G. doin’ his thang on tha 3rd verse right chea!! Ooh, a 4th verse was added as it’s Slim!! He sounds good, once again, spittin’ some hot street shit!! My Rating: 4.6

Overall: Well, this was a gr8 CD overall!! I know there were a few songs dat weren’t my taste but overall, you’re a gr8 rapper! You have good shit fa tha N.O. and most areas in Louisiana (accordin’ ta who you fuck wit)! Keep up tha gr8 work!
