Got my 4th review for today up now: my boy Zippa Castro “Everybody Hates Zip”! I’m kinda like, “Don’t say dat!” Then again, haters = motivation? Start Time: 11:57 PM | End Time: 1:17 AM


Quick Note: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!! I only please myself wit my ratings!! I don’t care how lyrical you are! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song. Anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

What you got this time, Zip? >>> Interestin’ first few seconds in tha beginning and now, I hear tha beat… Sounds pretty nice here wit you holdin’ it down too; good shit! You’re nice and consistent here on tha “intro,” ya dig? I like how you say tha album title towards tha end; catchy shit, lol! My Rating: 4.2


02. “Pass Me A Drink” Feat. Sam I Am & Lil’ Cali
What a GR8 2nd song already, lol!! You doin’ it B.I.G.!! Really lookin’ forward ta hearin’ dis!! >>> “Roy Slim on tha beat”? Iz dat what I heard? Tha hook’s not bad; thought it would be more energetic but tha beat’s cool here! LOL, Sam I Am’s already on tha 1st verse here; I’ll put him above Cali in tha ID since he’s first. Soundin’ pretty good on this beat wit his crazy-ass!! I’m hearin’ tha hook for tha 2nd time and it’s soundin’ NICE and REAL catchy wit this “bape/cape/ape” shit, lol!! Cali’s on tha 2nd verse and he’s real catchy on this shit!! Towards tha 2nd ½ of his verse, it almost sounded familiar. However, it was cleared up dat he said your name towards tha end of tha verse so you know y’all keep it real to tha fullest! You’re on tha 3rd verse here and it’s soundin’ pretty good; you have a GR8 voice ta hold it down fa a white boy when it comes ta tha Boot’s undaground! LOL, tha last second in tha beat sounded like it got cut off or somethin’, lol? My Rating: 4.5


03. “Fly Like A Bird”
Kinda like my boy Beezy “Bird,” lol! >>> Tha beat sounds cool here for you… Nice job on tha 1st verse and tha hook’s you on your motivated “mission;” thumbs up… LOL @ tha 2nd verse wit all tha “dead birds;” very interestin’, “bird” style, lol!! “Duct-tape every hole that you breathe through;” wow!! Pretty gutta right there, lol!! My Rating: 4.3


04. “I Hustle” Feat. Young Hustle
Ooh @ tha feature here! >>> Kinda decent on tha beat start… LOL, I was just talkin’ to my boy on tha phone and he mentioned Young Hustle’s name and I was like, “Weren’t you ‘pose ta give me his MySpace [if he even has one] link from two-and-a-half years ago,” lol? Anyway, sounded like Hustle in tha 1st verse and it was just okay for me… Tha hook’s straight too; sounds catchy wit tha title. This beat’s aight fa me; tha previous ones were betta though… You’re on tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ a lil’ betta here; you holdin’ it down… Regardless of what comes outta Young Hustle, in any event, I always anticipate him from tha A-Mar “My Gutta Wayz” and “Raggz 2 Riches” dayz! My Rating: 3.8


05. “Fresh (Flow)”
What you got here? >>> Was gonna say, “familiar beat?” Then again, I rememba this; kinda “bleh” for tha original version so at least you rappin’ on it ta make it less “bleh!” Good rappin’; catchy rhymes… My Rating: 3.9


06. Fall Off In The Party (Skit)
Ooh, a skit (just as long as tha last song, lol)? Good; lemme hear… >>> Sounds like you’re at tha club or somethin’ in tha background? Oh, I think you said you’re “at someone’s crib;” I see… Nice lil’ skit here, Zip! My Rating: N/A


07. “Who Got It” Feat. Dirty Jesus
Interestin’ ID here; lookin’ forward… >>> Wow, just came in within tha first second and it’s TIGHT in tha beginning wit tha “who like ta smoke a lot” shit in tha beginning!! Nice shit from Dirty Jesus, doin’ tha damn thang on tha hook for you!! You’re on tha 1st verse here and it’s soundin’ pretty good on this beat; nice lil’ “smokin’”-type lyrics! LOL, Dirty Jesus was not on tha hook? Or, was that just a made-hook? Sounds more like him on tha 2nd verse here and it sounds like someone you fuck wit pretty tough… Good fa what it iz here… My Rating: 4.4


08. “Larry Flynt Hustler” Feat. One-i & Young Bleed
Oh yea, tha single, which I premiered on my radio show already at least four months ago; damn, time flies!! Lemme review this, finally… >>> Okay, I rememba tha pretty good beat intro wit tha siren; good shit! One-i’s first so I gon flip him in tha ID… He doin’ a nice job fa you here, ya dig? I rememba when I first heard tha hook, I was like, “No!! A dancin’ song!!” But, this iz acceptable so you get a pass, ya heard me? It’s pretty catchy, especially tha “roll” shit! Bleed’s on tha 2nd verse and it sounds cool ta have him on a song like dis; he’s real consistent wit it! You’re on tha 3rd verse and tha flow’s pretty catchy wit tha rhymes here! My Current Rating: 4.4


09. “Winding Road”
What’ll this be like? >>> Kinda sad-soundin’ start… Oh, wow, tha catchiness really picked up in tha hook!! I really like how you handle tha beat here on tha hook wit your real shit!! Nice job wit comin’ through for tha 1st verse wit your good shit here… More catchy shit comin’ from you on tha 2nd verse here… Nice job doin’ ya thang on this joint! My Rating: 4.1


10. “I Feel Fine” Feat. Young Hustle
Yea @ anotha Young Hustle feature!! >>> This beat’s soundin’ more on tha energetic side so maybe, he’ll have a plus; extra-plus!! Shit, yea, I jynxed it!! Soundin’ REAL NICE on tha 1st verse here!! Good-ass shit from dat boy Hustle on tha 1st verse; REAL GLAD ta hear him from time-ta-time!! You’re on tha hook here and it’s cool; catchy shit here! LOL, thought it was Hustle on tha 2nd verse for a second but it’s you; good, catchy rhymes here wit a GR8 flow! My Rating: 4.3


½time: Sounds like a pretty good CD here; LOTS of consistent shit and you’re just REAL GR8 when it comes ta makin’ catchy music!! Glad you have REAL GR8 features here and it’s REAL NICE to where tha average CD rating’s at 4.2 right now!!


11. “Assholes” Feat. Deezy
I ROFL @ when I see tha word “asshole” in a title and hear it in a song so this iz DEFINITELY anticipatin’!! >>> Ooh, “Deezy did tha beat” and he’s even on tha 1st verse here! Nice shit comin’ from you; you have luck when you plan tha featured artists bein’ on tha 1st verse! Ooh, he’s on tha hook here and I’m really likin’ dis shit; good shit in tha hook, especially tha “assholes” shit when it comes ta grindin’ so hard, lol! Here you are in tha 2nd verse and ugh @ hearin’ dat word, “Winter!” It’s 55 degrees right now; like, WTF? It’s still Summer and it’s like, what happened to tha 90-106 degree weather last month in NY? It’s stupid PA so you know it’s tha mountains… I like tha “cartoon” line and all tha shit afta dat’s REAL catchy wit how you rhyme err-thang; good shit, Zip!! Deezy’s on tha 3rd verse here? Iz this his song featurin’ you? It’s all good though; he doin’ tha damn thang! You’re on tha 2nd ½ of tha 3rd verse and it sounds like you’re keepin’ it goin’ here too! My Rating: 4.5


12. “That Kush” Feat. SlugOne & Perv
Have I heard SlugOne before? I keep thinkin’ Slugga that was affiliated wit Da Gremlins… Long length here so let’s see how good dis iz wit tha anticipatin’ title!! >>> Cool beat and an addictive Wayne sample here on tha hook!! I like tha person dat’s sayin’ “kush… kush” in tha background on tha hook! Tha 1st verse’s pretty good; interestin’ flow here wit a pretty good voice ta help you out. Iz this a J.R. Rotem beat (‘cause I heard tha certain siren sound come outta nowhere)? Doesn’t sound like somethin’ I’ve heard before… Pretty good shit here and let’s see what happens wit tha remainin’ verses… Wow @ tha start to tha 2nd verse; GR8 voice on dis shit!! Sounds pretty gutta like Sam I Am, only slower on tha flow! DEFINITELY liked tha 2nd verse!! Now, you must be left, Zip? Let’s see your verse on tha 3rd one… Definitely likin’ tha “kush”-related topics and shit you spittin’ here, my boy! “Let’s get fulla dat sticky;” GR8 way ta end tha verse!! My Rating: 4.5


13. “I Know” Feat. ChaYsuh & Grind
I was just thinkin’ ‘bout ChaYsuh on (I think Deezy’s collab) one of tha previous songs; surprised he appeared outta nowhere wit Grind!! Lookin’ forward ta hearin’!! >>> Grind did this beat and it’s soundin’ good; thumbs up! Nice job wit ChaY on tha intro and he’s doin’ a nice job on tha hook here too; personal/real shit! Tha length’s 5:40; pretty long but I don’t mind it ‘cause it ain’t no jacked beat or nothin’! Here’s tha 1st verse from ChaYsuh; dat real-ass shit! Was gonna say, “Good from a progressed perspective,” but we have tha exact same birthday, lol, so there’s no age difference… Nice job wit tha consistent content for tha Boot! Now, we got tha 2nd verse from Grind and it’s soundin’ GR8 wit tha way it’s delivered; good, personal shit from him too!! I like tha spelling and then, tha random singin’; nice tri-combo (includin’ tha rappin’) blend! It’s always you saved for last and here you are again on tha 3rd verse… Pretty good shit here; feelin’ how it’s shit seen on a daily-basis. Tha last minute iz for an outro and because it’s ChaYsuh, it’s DEFINITELY acceptable and NOT boring ta hear!! LOL, why did a part of tha beat (like tha beginning) play for a second at tha end and then, cut off? My Rating: 4.4


14. “SGT: Slaughter Raps” Feat. Young Hustle & Deezy
You have it as #15 on tha DatPiff tracklisting; I know sometimes it fails to put it in tha right position at times (which annoys tha shit outta me). Anyway, looks tight so you know I gon anticipate dis!! >>> LOL, could’ve sworn this beat was on someone else’s CD or somethin’…; I might’ve even aired it on my radio show? Not sure where it came from or if it’s jacked but tha 1st verse’s soundin’ good here wit tha rhymes! I like tha random “Marijuana” part; good shit! You’re on tha 2nd verse here and it’s soundin’ good; clearin’ up tha real and tha fake! Tha 3rd verse iz soundin’ good; mo hot, consistent shit here!! My Rating: 4.2


15. “All The Way” Feat. Cas & Chico
This collab kinda anticipates me so you know I’m lookin’ forward ta hearin’!! >>> Yea, DEFINITE plus on tha beat this time and tha hook’s REALLY HOT to tha bone!! Consistent-ass shit here in tha 1st verse from Chico; dat white boy-type shit dat’s just TOO HOT!! LOL, didn’t realize this was 5:12; that’s what’s up!! Startin’ ta sound a lil’ like Lil’ Witness on tha 1st verse too; good job here!! Cas’s on tha 2nd verse here and usually, I flip tha ID. But, because they’re usually a team, I’ll just leave it tha way it iz. Good shit here on this beat; thumbs up fa tha production helpin’ tha rappin’! Here you are on tha last verse again, lol! Spittin’ dat “Louisiana” shit to tha fullest!! VERY GOOD rhymin’ here, Zip!! “½ ‘em like fractions;” dumb shit!! Real quick-soundin’ fade-out ta where it left 10 seconds of silence… My Rating: 4.5

Anotha flipped error on tha DatPiff tracklisting as it’s labeled as #17 but iz #16. Anyway, thought I saw someone wit this title just yesterday; let’s see how you come wit it… >>> Anticipatin’ start in tha beat and it sounds pretty good wit you rappin’ in tha beginning here! Oh, it’s tha hook and it sounds catchy; good shit! Here’s tha 1st verse and you “should’ve been born wit feathers,” lol; true shit! I like your street content as well as mixin’ it wit your personal life too! Tha 2nd verse sounds like it’s pretty good also; nice job wit addin’ more and more to tha track! My Rating: 4.2


17. “I Get Stoned” Feat. Young Hustle
Looks like a moment I would be waiting for or somethin’, lol!! What’ll this be like? >>> Oh, shit!! “I Love College” beat and Tha Cooch iz on my background on my laptop right now!! She liked this song so it’s quite ironic dat it’s here!! LOL, kinda long intro but here you are on tha 1st verse! LOL, you sounded just like Asher here on tha 1st verse at first, lol! Pretty good; you doin’ it big!! Wow, tha hook’s pretty catchy as fuck (you already know)!! I like tha “bong” shit, lol!! Hustle’s on tha 2nd verse and this iz a plus here from him; catchy rhymin’… My Rating: 4.3


18. “Rock N Roll” Feat. One-i
Ooh, a One-i collaboration right chea again! Glad ta hear him again so you know this’ll be mo hot shit!! >>> LOL, louder start here and it sounds pretty nice on tha beat! You’re on tha 1st verse and I almost thought you were singin’ as if it was a Rock song fa a second, lol! Nice lil’ job here wit your catchy shit you be spittin’… Tha hook’s cool; more catchy shit from you! LOL, here comes One-i on tha 2nd verse and he has a GR8 flow fa dis shit; he fits PERFECT on a beat like dis!! Cool-ass shit from One-i, helpin’ you out once again!! My Rating: 4.3


19. “Coolin’ In Ya City”
I see dat word “coolin’” in a title and I instantly think of a jacked beat for some reason… >>> Don’t think I know this one; not bad start… I like how you start it off wit tha “coolin’ in ya city” and tha “heater” shit; interestin’ hook. Tha 1st verse sounds like a drug scene for a come-up; interestin’… Tha 2nd verse has a lotta “-ound” shit when it comes to tha rhymes; glad you keepin’ tha flow and rhymes really catchy, especially wit tha content! For some reason, when it’s just you on tha track, I don’t picture tha tracks bein’ 4:10+ on tha length; I guess ‘cause usually, your songs are shorter… Wit that bein’ said, a 3rd verse iz here and it sounds like some more in-depth shit about tha drugs goin’ on “in tha city;” interestin’ shit fa me ta hear! My Rating: 4.2


20. “Hangin’ Out Tha Window”
A funny title here; I know I gon like dis! >>> Sounds like an anticipatin’ beat start here! Afta 26 seconds, here’s tha hook and it’s pretty catchy; sounds nice, funny and just, you! You feelin’ good on tha 1st verse here; ALWAYS a Castro life wit Zippa, lol! I like how tha verse ended wit, “I’m actin’ like an asshole,” lol! Sounds like a lotta catchy end-lines on tha 2nd verse here; good shit! Glad you ALWAYS rock “tha dumb way!” My Rating: 4.1


21. “Over” Feat. Drake
BOOOOO @ tha feature and end!!! What kinda ending iz this? >>> Ugh… Why I gotta deal wit dis? WTF? He’s even on tha 1st verse? Why? Finally, at 1:57, here you are on tha 2nd verse… Tha catchy rhymes are comin’ from you but I have to heavily take off for not only tha hook but a used verse too… I’m likin’ how you keepin’ it consistent, though! My Rating: 3.3


Overall: You had a SHITLOAD of consistentness here!! I like how tha cover has a lil’ color effect in it; good shit! You have a good ear for beats to make it feel at home for tha Boot and you have a GR8 voice that stands out on this Rap shit! You, A-Mar, Dyl, Cas, Chico, Lil’ Pado, Young Hustle, One-i and all tha up-n-comin’ white boys from tha Boot are ALWAYS tha shit and y’all keep doin’ what y’all doin’!!

Tha CD REALLY defined this year (2009) and now, 199 reviewz later, here I am wit Zippa Castro! I reviewed a previous CD of his not too long ago and now, I gon get into his recent one! How will you start this CD off? >>> This iz a gr8 intro! I like how you flowin’ on this shit right here, still comin’ through wit tha gr8 style you had on tha last CD wit tha hood shit! Nice job deliverin’ tha verse and I’m sure this CD’ll be tha shit like your last one!! My Rating: 4.3


02. “I’m Goin’ In”
LOL @ this beat choice… You’ll prolly rip it though! >>> …Or maybe not. I thought this was tha Drake/Wayne beat but it sounds original? I reheard tha beat tag in tha beginning and it sounded like 2 Toxic; no wonder why it’s hot! So, you just know, “drop outs and drug dealaz?” Tha drug dealin’ thing can pass fa this shit but tha whole “drop out” shit iz yuck ta me. I don’t know how there can be a high percentage of drop outs… Anyway, definitely a good 1st verse and tha hook (wit mainly tha title) definitely flowed through catchy! Tha 2nd verse sounds catchy and familiar? I thought I heard it before wit tha “terd” part in tha beginning of tha verse but this wasn’t on your last CD… Still, you DEFINITELY did ya thang here, my dude! My Rating: 4.5


03. “Four Walls”
What could this be about? >>> Sounds like tha intro iz a lil’ on tha softer/Soul side? I hear you singin’ Outkast “Ms. Jackson” wit your “fa eva, eva” shit… Odd intro but it sounds like your rappin’ iz pretty good on tha 1st verse. Interestin’, especially wit tha “didn’t even pull tha sock off my foot” part. Tha hook iz like tha 2nd ½ of tha intro; I still think it’s okay, but above average. Sounds like some good ol’ Eminem style of rappin’ in tha 2nd verse; nice job once again on tha flow! My Rating: 3.9


04. “If I Ain’t” Feat. Southern Klassik
Ooh, a collaboration! Looks like it’ll be good! >>> Sounds like a jacked beat wit tha sound effect in tha beginning (typical Drumma Boy sound). Tha volume sounds kinda too loud on tha beat in tha beginning? Anyway, it’s a “Louisiana/Georgia connection” here wit tha collaboration; let’s see how it goes! You’re doin’ tha damn thang on tha hook; it’s pretty good! Gotta luv how you sound on these jointz!! You’re on tha 1st verse and it’s DEFINITELY on a street level here! Nice job and now, let’s see how this Georgia connection gon last on tha 2nd verse wit Southern Klassik… Ooh, gr8 voice fa this shit! Glad it’s on an upbeat level!! Sounded like you found/discovered a gr8 dude so props ta you, Zip to tha “pa,” lol! My Rating: 4.4


05. “Heaven Help Ya”
Not sure why a title like this’ll be tha 5th song on a mixtape but let’s see anywayz… >>> A website’s producer tag before tha hook… This iz much betta than what I thought would come outta it (based off tha title)! I thought it would be more on tha “depressin’ strugglin’” side but it’s not! Tha beat iz pretty good and your hook iz catchy! Tha 1st verse sounded good; you know what you doin’ in these streetz right chea, ya heard me! Nice job keepin’ it street once again in tha 2nd verse; you know how ta deal wit some hood shit, ya heard me! LOL @ tha beat chorus change at 3:15! Didn’t expect dat ta happen on an undaground Rap joint, lol! My Rating: 4.3


06. “Keep It Poppin’” Feat. Young Hustle
Ooh, Young Hustle on tha comeback!!! Haven’t heard him since A-Mar & Dyl’s 2007 Raggz 2 Riches CD!! I really liked him but neva found his MySpace… Let’s see how y’all “keep it poppin’!!” >>> Oh no, a slow sample in tha beginning… (“la la la, la, la la…”). Tha beat now sounds like Jordin Sparks “One Step At A Time” wit tha BPMs… Tha 1st verse sounds good wit you on it. Tha otha shit on this mixtape so far sounded betta… Oh no, Auto-Tune in tha hook from you… It’s aight, not dat bad though. Dat boy Young Hustle iz on tha 2nd verse! He sounds GR8 on this beat! Although tha beat could’ve been betta fa him, at least he has a good flow on it! It felt like it went by quickly but I’m glad he contributed! My Rating: 3.7


07. “Super Mario”
Uh oh!! LOL!! Gotta luv tha title!! Iz tha jacked beat gon be… a Super Mario Bros. theme song or somethin’? Lemme see wit curious anticipation!! >>> LOL, tha beat sounds original here… Off to a good start wit tha catchy-ass hook wit tha Mario sounds in tha beat and tha Mario lyrics when you’re “powered up,” ya dig! Some of tha lyrics (e.g., “on like a lighthouse”) sound like they’re quoted or somethin’ from bigger mainstream artists… Either way, it’s definitely hella catchy here wit tha Mario lyrics! I thought I would hear more jiggalatin’ lyrics since Mario “powers up!” Tha 2nd verse iz here and it’s “fulla purp,” “gangsta,” fulla “buku games,” and “arcadeful,” lol! LOL, I could imagine if someone was featured on this; what would they really do, lol? My Rating: 4.6


08. “Rubber Bands”
I thought I saw this once before? LOL, only 1:24 on tha length… It wasn’t on tha last CD so lemme see what it iz this time… >>> LOL @ tha fade-in; shortened version fa this mixtape? Pretty good beat once again (on a darker side) and tha hook sounds cool wit tha screwed voice that’s about “rubber bands,” ya dig! You’re on tha verse here and you got some good alternatin’ titles here (like wit tha “beatin’ tha pussy up” line). Nice job fa a really short song! My Rating: 4.1

09. “I’m A Problem” Feat. Cas & Chico
Ooh, gr8 collaboration here!! This should do tha damn thang fa a song exactly five minutes long!! >>> Tha beat start iz definitely watz good! Tha hook goes hard, fa sho! I like tha 2nd ½ of tha hook as it’s tha Baton Rouge formula of repetitiveness in a hook! It sounds like Cas on tha 1st verse; tight shit here! LOL @ tha “don’t make my dick hard” warning. Afta dat line, he got a Young Ready type flow wit tha whole “don’t fuck wit me” type shit. That was DEFINITELY a NICE 1st verse and tha hook sounds gr8 once again!! Tha 2nd verse must be Chico here… I heard him on one of those One-i mixtapes that I reviewed two weeks ago (I think tha song was wit Cas and called “That Boy There”). Once again, this shit sounds good; nice job fa contributing, Chico! When tha beat stopped from 2:45 – 2:47, it sounded like a BluBlack beat tha way it stopped for a few seconds and picked up wit tha hook! And now, here you finally are on tha 3rd verse; saved tha focus fa last! Let’s see if you can compete wit Cas’s flow/verse… Good competition although this iz gr8 work together! I think I liked Cas’s verse a lil’ betta but you doin’ it gr8 wit tha gutta shit here; Cas had more of a near-gangsta verse. My Rating: 4.6

Will this be “for me,” lol? >>> A lil’ different for a start. I hear tha hook now and I hear a guitar. That part sounds good; I don’t know what ta say about what you’re sayin’ in tha hook though… Tha rappin’ iz pretty good on tha 1st verse; you’re flowin’ pretty nice on this beat. I like how you mentioned “Down Bad” and that you fucked wit them at one point; good shit. Tha 2nd verse has good street lyrics but doesn’t really work on this mellow beat. My Rating: 3.6


11. “Nightz Like This” Feat. Young Hustle
Tha title makes me feel like tha last song on a preview… But, wit Young Hustle on it, it should be betta! >>> More upbeat but kinda odd “for me” wit tha Soul sample; it sounds betta though. Hearin’ you wit your drug/smokin’ lyrics in tha 1st verse and it sounds like “your life” story here; good job on tha verse this time though. I hear Hustle on tha 2nd verse and what’s up wit “smokin’ a cigarette?” How ‘bout a blunt? Just like wit tha last song wit your 2nd verse, Hustle had an okay verse but would’ve sounded betta on a betta beat. My Rating: 3.6

Hope this iz more my style… I can’t exactly say, “it’s a betta feature.” I feel it’s tha same, but for this mixtape, this iz a more anticipated featured, statistically! >>> Sounds like anotha miss for me wit tha weird Auto-Tune start… Tha beat iz pretty good once again (like #9) and you’re soundin’ pretty good on tha 1st verse; good shit. Tha hook iz a lil’ too weird for me; could’ve taken out tha Auto-Tune. Oh shit, even gotta deal wit it in tha 2nd verse too! What’s up wit tha fuck-up 2nd verses? This iz three in a row? Tha last two had good lyrics on not-so-good beats and now, this one had a good start on a gr8 beat but HORRIBLE vocals!! Tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse was a lil’ worse wit tha “make it rain” shit. My Rating: 3.2


13. “Where Ya Work”
MUCH BETTA!! Heard this one before too so it’s a remedy from tha last few songs!! Take a look at my gr8 feedback previously: Sounds like a Gucci Mane type beat for tha beginning. I think I hear a Prince Blakk (I think) type of sound in tha beginning too… Glad you dropped tha Auto-Tune fa this one! Tha hook iz DEFINITELY nice wit tha beat too!! You did ya thang on tha 1st verse and I’m REAL GLAD this iz on tha drug tip for tha song style!! Tha 2nd verse goes hard too; gotta luv tha “I was blowin’ purp in a hurricane” part! Hearin’ tha 3rd verse and for a second, I thought you were a Hammond representa; you say you a BR representa. Reppin’ 225 iz DEFINITELY watz good!! <- To add: Quite ironic I even said, “Glad you dropped tha Auto-Tune fa this one!,” as well ‘cause it fit perfect ta be afta a gay Auto-Tune song once again, lol! My Current Rating: 4.5

Looks like a name and an interestin’ title here. We got Cas on tha feature so this should be good! >>> LOL, what am I ‘pose ta react SO fast? This iz MUCH WORSE soundin’ than tha “Over Da Edge” song wit tha Auto-Tune again!!! I feel like tha whole gay-ass voice sound takes ova tha speakers against tha beat! It had an interestin’ start and title but tha vocals really destroyed it. And this iz Cas? I thought I was expectin’ tightness? Why this gay following sound? OMG, it’s NORMAL @ 2:12!!! And it’s you on tha 2nd verse!! Talk about how tha sound cleared up (except for tha gay Auto-Tune background vocals)!! May have been an okay verse (finally for a 2nd verse) but that doesn’t help my opinion on tha song! It’s like I got 20% of tha pie and tha otha 80% was WASTE!! My Rating: 1.4

OMG, what a title for a follow-up ta a horrible song!! PERFECT!! Look how betta I felt on tha feedback: YES!! A Vybe production!!! This shit sounds gr8 and you sound REAL GOOD on this shit!! DEFINITELY a catchy joint right here and fits GR8 fa this mixtape!! You’re even on tha 1st verse! You doin’ tha damn thang and I’m glad you got your “pants saggin’” ‘cause you doin’ tha damn thang! Here’s One-i on tha 2nd verse… Still comin’ through fa tha hood! Let’s see what we got fa tha 3rd verse… You soundin’ “outrageously crazy” (as you said) on this verse AND song!! You DEFINITELY sound like you on ya grind wit this Rap shit; gotta feel dat! My Current Rating: 4.4

Last song… Not sure of tha word “promise” in tha title so you betta “promise” me a good song! Hope we get ta finally hear a tight Young Hustle comeback!! >>> Tha beat start iz cool/catchy for a last song on a CD! Yea, my fuckin’ boy Vybe ON THA BEAT!!! Ooh, this iz for tha females; even betta wit a tight beat!! And tha start to tha 1st verse iz dat boy Young Hustle; MUCH BETTA start here!!! I DEFINITELY liked and enjoyed his verse right there to tha fullest!!! Let’s see what you got fa tha 2nd verse since you did ya thang on tha hook… Of course, you had ta “make it rain;” at least it a female song and not dat last song wit Hustle on it… Nice job on tha verse though!! Gotta FUCKIN’ LUV Vybe’s beat tag wit tha “Vybe… Vybe!!” My Rating: 4.5


Overall: Pretty good CD right here! Although I disagreed about a few songs, there were a good numba of songs that were tight ta where tha average CD rating got ta a 4.0! You know what was tight and you know what wasn’t so tight; keep doin’ ya thang!

Watz good… First off, I wanna say happy birthday to my cuzin Lil' Darryl. It's his b-day today, and thanx to Jimmy The DJ, I think I got more presents than him, lol. Jimmy The DJ sent me a total of 44 mixtapes: Dee-1 "Still We Rise" (x4), A-Mar "My Gutta Wayz" (5x), Jimmy The DJ's own "Gangsta Gumbo Vol. 1" (12x), random underground mixtapes (x13), a floppy disk (I'm sure there's not a mixtape on there), and tha mixtape I'm about to review right now, "Raggz 2 Riches" from A-Mar & Dyl (10x). Hopefully I get to give out these mixtapes and have success wit it this week. And as for this review, I sadly was almost not able to do it tonight. Why? Because I caught a tension headache 'round 4 PMish. I took a 1.5 hour nap to try and heal it, but it didn't heal. I took Tylenol right when I woke up, and luckily, I feel better, and feel good to do this review! Lots of anticipation for this! I had 6 other CDs to review, BUT due to this one came in tha mail for me, this one goes before them, so without further or do, here's my review for A-Mar & Dyl's "Raggz 2 Riches" mixtape!! Start Time: 9:29 PM | Video Game Playing: Goldeneye 007 (for Nintendo 64) (on my computer)

01. "Gangsta Music"
Aight first joint, 3:19 length, High AL, and hoping this turns out good!! >>> Not only iz this gangsta so far, but I chose tha right game to play (since its got weapons and shit). Yeah glad to hear A-Mar again! Dyl on tha 2nd verse. Yeah. Yeah "this that A1 certified gangsta shit." Great smooth start to tha mixtape! Once again, I like A-Mar's "Lil' Boosie"ish voice. I think, in my opinion, that it's a blessing to have a voice like Boosie's. My Rating: 4.4


02. "Jigged Out"
Keep tha jointz comin'! Let's see how this one gon be… … >>> Good start. Nice down south start. Sounds like somethin' that would sound like somethin' from years ago 'cause A-Mar's voice sounds a lil' younger to me in this one. Third verse sounded a lil' like Unk at 3:13 and 3:25 in "2 Step". Nice lil' joint. My Rating: 3.9


03. "211" Feat. B-Rock
Okay first feature on tha mixtape. Gives me a High AL 'cause tha name reminds me of T-Rock. >>> Nice hook. Definitely feelin' it. Lookin' like a good 1st verse so far. "Choppa bullets pull out just like tha rocket." Liked this line. "Gettin' tha key to tha safe" Kinda what I'm doin' in 007 right now. I'm tryin' to get tha key to tha door and I'm supposed to plant a mine on this computer or some shit. My Rating: 4.2


04. "Fuck Wit Dat"
*Makes a prediction* Iz tha hook gon be like "fuck wit dat chopper…"? I'm feelin' that as a prediction right now 'cause I'm still tryin' to find that key, and alls I got iz a chopper, and I'm shootin' like tons of guys in 007 right now. High AL! >>> Aight I was wrong: more on tha "fuckin' wit pussy" side of thangz. Soundin' good so far tho. "Get dumb dumb dumb dumb/beat that pussy up like a drum drum drum drum." "I'm not a rabbit, but watch how fast I'mma hop…" Another thumbs up. *Found tha key in 007* Yeah definitely feelin' that joint. Tha flow reminded me of underground rappers Natureboy Rowe and Yung Mike on their collabo joint "I'm Throwed". My Rating: 4.4


05. "I Need A Blessin'"
I already got so many blessings right now, so I feel blessed already. I feel blessed for lots of things. Off tha top of my head: Living, healthy, my fresh clothes, my family, computer/labtop, Jimmy The DJ, Word Of South, communicating online (like wit Myspace), able to direct/edit so good, and lots of other shit. Let's see what this gon sound like. >>> Okay good it's not slow, and it's more on a down south beat. Yeah feelin' tha flow/lyrics on this one. At least it's good unlike certain "real life" songs that sound too boring wit tha beat. Even tho I backed up my file on tha computer in 007, it was a blessin' that I remembered to plant tha mine on tha helicopter 'cause once I placed it, I had 10 seconds to escape, and I did. My Rating: 3.8


06. "Let 'Em Fly"
Aight I got a High AL for this. I bet'cha this one gon be good. *Takes a 1 minute break to get a drink* >>> "Tha Block Is Hot" beat. Yeah this iz gangsta. "Die muthafucka die" I just got killed in tha next level, lol. I liked this rendition of "Tha Block Is Hot" tho. My Rating: 4.0


Break: It's 10:03 PM… You know what I gotta do! Call up Jimmy The DJ! Here it goes… >>> Aight it switched up to AIM, so now I'm talkin' to him on AIM. We had a good chat. Now, 39 minutes later, at 10:42 PM, I'm back, and ready to continue this joint!

Already heard tha intro on accident ("Leather So Soft" beat). Let's see this rendition. >>> Lol at tha hook! Really on tha sex tip! Yeah this sounds good. Definitely for tha sexy ladies. My Rating: 4.0

It's 10:49 PM right now. >>> Aight we had a good conversation about tha day and all tha shit I got from Jimmy The DJ. We were on tha phone for 20 minutes, 5 seconds. Well I'm mad that it's a lil' on tha later side of thangz, but who tha hell be mad at A-Mar & Dyl? Tha haterz that's who. Anyway, let's see what this one's about. >>> Nice Nitti beat. Really feelin' tha 1st verse and tha hook. Yeah rockin' them 'bauds. Ooh wow that fast-rapid rappin' came outta nowhere from Dyl. Really feelin' it. Short, but real good. My Rating: 4.5

I thought that said "Lil' Boosie" at first. Either way, it looks anticipating, and it's a double collabo, so it gives me a High AL! >>> I take that hook as somethin' funny, and it's makin' me laugh. Love it! Really feelin' that beat too. Love that line "we gon do you like some shit and flush ya down tha drain." Good shit. 2nd verse was real good, and 3rd verse soundin' good too. Nice 4th verse too. My Rating: 4.6

Yung Joc "Pak Man" on Music Choice Rap right now, and tha title of this makes me think of it bein' a remix to Yung Joc's "Beat It Up". Let's see if I'm right. >>> Oh this iz tha remix to A-Mar's joint on "My Gutta Wayz" I think (which iz his own version of "It's Goin' Down"). Sounds different (unless I can't remember), but tha second verse was pretty good. My Rating: 3.5

I took a 2 minute break for a sec 'cause I kept not being able to beat this level in 007 fast enough for this cheat, so I was losin' my mood a lil', but I got tha cheat by beatin' tha level EXACTLY in tha time required, so now I'm back to continue this mixtape! *Checks title* Okay iz this gonna be different or iz gonna sound like Webbie's joint? It'll prolly sound different, and it'll prolly be good. >>> Tha flow reminds me a lil' of Webbie's joint. This pretty good, but that other joint "Fuck Wit Dat" was better. My Rating: 3.6

This one I'm lookin' forward to. High AL! >>> Nice faster beat. Nice down south music again. Yeah tha hook was good. This was enjoyable, so it gets my thumbs up. My Rating: 4.2

Second-to-last joint here. Let's see what tha bidness iz. >>> Yeah it's back to A-Mar and it's tha "I Luv It" beat. Good job on all of tha verses. Glad to hear A-Mar again. My Rating: 3.8

Okay this tha last one. Let's see how we gon end this. >>> This "Myspace Freak" beat was a lil' unexpected to me. Still lookin' forward. It sounded good. Overall: End Time: 12:13 AM. That was a good mixtape. Definitely liked it, especially tha beginning. Tha ending was more average-good to me, but definitely listenable. Nothin' was bad, so that was good. Which song was tha one that a music video was shot for? Hopefully it's somethin' I rated wit a 4.0 or higher rating.
